Wow, we initially did a diagnostic with another (very advertised) company and found out we had to get our entire system replaced. The company that wont be named quoted us a base price that was significantly higher than what we ended up paying with Penguin Air. So glad we called Penguin air for a second opinion. Jeff our comfort consult was responsive explained the pros and cons of our options, and not pushy at all. They even provided us with a portable AC since we weren't scheduled til 3 days later after our AC went out. The techs that came to our house were also very professional and worked diligently through the day to get the job done! Will be a returning customer for all our HVAC needs. Thank you!

After years of enduring mediocre service from other companies, I decided to try Hobaica for AC service. Technician Brandon arrived on time, and was very professional, personable and competent. All those 5 star reviews obviously reflect a well-run company where customer service is a high priority.

Since I wrote the above review, I've had two additional routine maintenance service calls with our new technician Chase. From appointment making to the service visit to the followup, the whole Hobaica operation is first class- competent, honest, dependable.

Being pro-active, we decided to replace our 16 year old AC unit in Nov., 2022. Having used Hobaica Services for general AC maintenance for the past several years, we were comfortable going with Hobaica for the purchase and installation. The entire experience was just what we expected. The pricing was competitive, installation was on time, efficient and professional. Sergio and Tristan were competent, communicative and friendly installers. Nothing better doing business with a family-run business whose primary goal is customer satisfaction!

Phenomenal customer service! When our AC went out, all the other companies we called didn't answer or the expected call back never came. Ivan called back in ten minutes. He was extremely courteous and set up an appointment first thing the very next day, with only an hour window. He went straight to work and solved our problem quickly. Highly recommend Desert Diamond to everyone who has an AC unit in their house.

Update: Our A/C finally died. But Desert Diamond came and saved the day. Dakota came out and set us up with a portable unit to survive while it was out. But it was only out for a few days before the team came out and replaced it for us. Great speed, great service, and superior customer service.

Q was professional and thorough with the maintenance of our heat pump. He took the time to do things right and made sure everything was running as it should. He fixed the problem we were having and made sure that we understood what he was doing. Will definitely keep with this company and the technician.

James originally seemed honest and knowledgeable regarding HVAC. The complaint was the 3yr old AC wasn’t blowing as cold as last year. We were told the Schroeder valves x2 were bad and needed 2lbs of Freon with a quote of $508. Once the repair was done, James came off the roof to tell me there was “bigger problems”- the evaporative coil was leaking in more than 20 places. The repair quote was $2500 for labor only (4-5 hours). Who charges $500 an hour for labor!? Oddly, the AC was serviced 26 Jan with no issues. I was beyond shocked.. As James insisted this was a very serious problem.
After having another service come to provide another quote, I was told, there was no leak detected and could have been from the Schroeder valves or a non-honest technician spraying oil on the coils- since the pattern was unusual and “too clean” (no dirt or dust on the oil). Honest HVAC people are very hard to find- unfortunately, this company is not one of them.

When you name your business Valley’s Best anything you set yourself up for a high level of customer expectation and you had better deliver if you want to stay successful. This is exactly what Chase and his team at Valley’s Best Heating and Air conditioning did. My 20 year old AC died on Saturday morning in the middle of August. I was visiting another city 1500 miles away and called Valley’s Best when they were recommended by a neighbor. Chase understood the unusual dynamic of my issue and immediately went to work so that I could conclude my visit without worry. When I returned home I found a new AC unit being installed with a high degree of quality and expertise. I was very impressed with Chase and his team. Of particular note is the AC tech named Jon D. As a business owner I know how difficult finding good employees can be. Jon D. exemplifies the type of team member that all businesses strive to find. Jon was professional and expedient. He showed up when he said he would and with a smile on his face. If he was delayed he would show the courtesy of calling and letting me know. He was open and transparent with his communication of the job scope, worked tirelessly on a Sunday when he could have had a day off, and never complained about working in my tiny attic – a place I have NEVER set foot in. Jon was respectful of my property and pets – he gave me a heads up before using loud equipment so that I could let my dogs outside and his clean-up was impeccable. I would hire him in a split second so Chase had better give this guy a raise!! When all was said and done Valley’s Best Heating and Air Conditioning lived up to its name. My new high efficiency AC unit runs quiet and cut my electric bills in half. Seriously. Well done, Chase and team.

There are bad times for your AC to die, and there are horrible times. July is definitely a horrible time, and ours died on a Sunday night in July. First we spent Monday trying to deal with the Home Warranty company, what a joke that was. We had a contractor lined up for Wednesday, then found out they didn't have a ladder tall enough. Home Warranty company then wanted us to wait until Friday to have someone else check it out, as if we should feel privileged with a timeline of 5 days without AC in July, in Phoenix. Not a chance. Monday night we had a local professional come over to tell us the unit needed to be replaced.

On Tuesday we made a few calls and Sun Devil was the first to respond. They came out quickly to put a proposal together, and theirs had the best value for us, especially with a financing option. That alone put our minds more at ease, even while we were uncomfortable in the summer heat. We were able to move quickly with application, with financing approval, and scheduling (all over the phone) installation for first thing Wednesday morning with a crane.

Installation was seamless. Everyone was on time and the project went smoothly. Such a relief to have someone act like they care about you. Would recommend Sun Devil to others for their fast, efficient service.

Family Owned. Smaller office - friendly voices. The techs are paid by the hour not commissions - that helped knowing I wasn't being recommended unnecessary repairs. Me and a few of my neighbors have signed up for their yearly service agreement. Great folks!

Day and Night replaced my 22 year old HVAC system on my house, it works great. They came out and did their and annual check up, and made sure everything was running great. I had them upgrade the air handlers purification feature, ( it helps with the allergies). Overall, very happy, and glad they are taking care of my HVAC and plumbing services with their VIP service.

King Mechanical is amazing from top to bottom. I called them on a weekend and they were able to schedule me and get a crane in line for the AC swap on Monday.

I had a 12 year old unit that broke down twice this summer and got other companies to quote me for a 3 ton unit. Frank got me exactly what the competition offered for less (i compared model numbers)I ands able to get the install done quicker than anyone in the valley. Did I mention he lined everything up over the weekend yet still the most affordable option.

Don't pass on King Mechanical. They are passionate about being problem solvers, working with you and your needs and I can assure you I called a lot of places and his price was the best with the same labor warranty the others offered.

We just moved to the Phoenix area and receive a flyer to get a discounted A/C tuneup. Gave “Just Air” a call and had an appointment within 2 days. James was our service guy. He was professional and informative. Gave my husband the lowdown on our A/C unit and some recommendations. We were so impressed with his honesty and quality of work, we decided to go with their 3 year service plan. It is hard to find a reliable and honest company, so glad we found one.

These guys were great. They knew what they were doing and did everything as planned and at the agreed price. They even fixed some minor settings in the thermostat that were set at default by accident. No extra charge.

We're coming up on four years since Alien Air Conditioning installed the new (at the time) heat pump HVAC on our home. It has been one of the smartest upgrades we've made towards our home.
