We had Scottsdale Air out to fix an issue with our HVAC unit. The tech, John Areikat, did a fantastic job! He was knowledgeable and friendly. Scottsdale Air always provide first-class service so we shouldn't be surprised. It's nice to have a company by your side that is always honest and professional!!

The installation crew were very professional (neat/tidy) A pleasant experience and would highly recommend this firm for your heating and cooling issues. Our experience with Scottsdale Air was superb! We got quotes from a number of local outfits, to proactively replace our 15 year old, slit-system heat pump. My initial criteria was that all these companies needed to have been in operation at least a couple decades (Scottsdale Air over 60 years). One big name company was very high-priced, and I didn’t feel the salesman was totally genuine. The others were all in the same price ballpark, but Eric, the Scottsdale Air salesman was a really good communicator and he was genuine and knowledgeable. Plus he was to the point, didn’t waste my time and printed out a concise, easy to understand proposal (one company’s quote was 5 pages long!) before leaving. Eric and his office were both very responsive to us, before and after the installation. (BTW - His price was just a little lower than most of the others, but my interaction with him and his office was really what clinched it for me!)

The installers showed up right on time and did the work in a very professional manner – they were respectful of our property and were as quiet as they could be, and had the work done in a little over four hours. I asked Eric previously if they could provide a portable heater, and the installers brought one which kept things quite comfortable while they replaced the old unit.

I have a background in the HVAC field, so I knew a couple things about what they were doing, and I am pleased to say I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again! Oh, one last thing – we went for the simplest Trane unit that would be at least 15 SEER (which was also more affordable). After we had the installation date set, Eric called to say there was an issue with the air handler we’d specified, so Scottsdale Air upgraded us to a much better and costlier air handler without charge - now that’s a good example of excellent and conscientious customer service! Bottom-line: A nice unit sold and installed by a thoughtful, competent company at a fair price – what’s not to love about that!?

We had a very good experience. The service tech John was on time, diagnosed the problem, had the two pars required for the repair on his truck, completed the work and was on his way. Price seemed fair, but most of all we were pleased that within a few hours after our call to Christina in the office on Monday morning, the unit was up and running again. We would recommend Scottsdale Air Conditioning and Heating.

Third time we've had Scott perform our semiannual HVAC maintenance - very happy with his work and level of service!

We've used Scottsdale air multiple times to fix issues with our air conditioner which had nothing to do with anything they did. They are always responsive, nice and so very helpful. The prices are fair and they always explain everything did and checked. Recently our outside drain pipe broke they came over and fixed it quick. Highly recommend them!!!!

Scottsdale Air is an excellent HVAC supplier and is just as good at maintaining and repairing HVAC systems. I have worked with them on several occasions within the past year, and they have always been totally great to work with! They just installed a new heat pump on my roof and the total time to complete the work was less than four hours which included disconnecting and removing the existing unit! They have also done repairs for me, and I have a annual service agreement with them. Great service and also great people to work with. I have owned homes in 5 different states and thus worked with HVAC people all over the country, and there is no question they are the best I have encountered!

Justin has been servicing both my AC & heater for a year. He is absolutely fabulous! He is on time, excellent with repairs & maintenance, polite..I couldn't ask for more, except I do request him to always be my service technician. Dave, with Scottsdale Air & Heating has been servicing our Train Heat Pump for several years and does an excellent job and explanation of the issues if any. We have lived here for over 20 years and have had the opportunity to deal with many HVAC companies and Scottsdale Air Heating & Cooling are by far the best.

20 years ago I became annoyed at local HVAC servicers trying to sell me very expensive acid washes. I phoned Carrier and asked them who they would recommend for annual service (they also told me an acid wash is NEVER needed). Matt made his first trip here for routine maintenance. He was on time, very professional, and very thorough.

We had a troubled gas heater acting up. It took multiple companies across several days to troubleshoot. Nobody could figure out the problem until Dave got on the job. Dave provided impeccable service and worked through the problem over a holiday weekend. He showed up Monday and got it fixed. Great spot Dave!

I've had Scottsdale AC out several times to fix problems. They are always competent, responsive and helpful. They've come out several times on very short notice. The technician is very thorough and explains everything he did. I've been very happy with their service.

The technician who serviced my house did a great job but the guy who came out after to look at my unit was a very pushy salesman (who insisted he wasn’t a salesman, you know the type). He told me I needed a $10,000 system replacement, but I thought that was extreme. I had a family friend recommend someone who came out and let me know that was a crazy overreaction and that all I needed was more refrigerant and my system would be good for the year. Had I just trusted this company I would’ve bought an expensive whole system in the middle of summer rather than maintain my existing unit for longer. Very dodgy business practice and I would not recommend them to someone else, but if you do use them make sure you get another quote from another company at the very least.

They service both our systems, and are always so incredibly friendly and easy to work with. Never pushy. Scheduling appointments is a breeze, and they are always on time. We highly recommend Scottsdale Air Heating & Cooling!

Our AC unit went down during a 114 degree day. Always, on the hottest days, right?! I called about 4 companies for immediate service. (I only call and use licensed contractor's that have excellent reviews along with a good AZROC and BBB standing.) Scottsdale Air Heating & Cooling was the friendliest of all and were able to come out at 5 PM same day. They were sincerely interested in helping us. The tech, Dave, worked on our unit for about 3 1/2 hours until we were able to get cool air. He was very pleasant and clean up after his work. He was determined not to let us suffer another any longer. Thank you SAH&C for your excellent service.

We have owned our home in Scottsdale for 32 years and have had a few air conditioners installed during that time. This last time we shopped several different companies before we chose Scottsdale Air. Absolutely the best experience from walking in the door, shopping product, installation and most importantly, customer service. Mike and his entire staff were very professional and friendly. You will never regret doing business with this company.

People seem to assume because it has the word Scottsdale in it it means more expensive. That was not the case for me. I got numerous quotes to install a new combo unit on my roof, and Scottsdale Air not only had the best price overall, but they were installing higher quality brands than their competition. It was a no brainer. Plus they handled the rebate paperwork.

I have an older house that requires some HVAC maintenance from time to time. My house uses 3 separate A/C systems. Almost two years ago, since I was having repeated issues with my old systems I decided to purchase 3 all new Trane A/C systems. They replaced the condenser outside, the air handlers inside, and installed new wi-fi thermostats. The installation and everything went great!

The new systems were installed in October of 2019 and so I didn't really get to push the A/C hard until the summer of 2020. Before agreeing to have them replace all three units, I expressed concerns that my master unit doesn't seem to be able to keep up with demand in the hot summer months. Eric Johnson, the sales professional, showed me how he calculated the size of unit to use and assured me that if we still had issues he would make it right. In July of 2020 when it started getting really hot, I noticed that the A/C in the master was struggling to cool the room even in the middle of the night.

I immediately texted Eric. He came out with the technician the following morning and they proceeded to make many adjustments and test things out. It seemed as though there was some sort of obstruction in my duct work or the ducts just weren't arranged properly. Their testing showed that the air coming out of the air handler was coming out at the proper rate and much cooler than the air going in. Everything from the equipment side was working as it should.

Eric spoke with the owner of Scottsdale Air and he agreed to install a new larger system to replace the system that was only 9 months old, at no cost to me. So to put this into context, Eric showed me how he calculates the size for the unit required (the other 2 units work perfectly) and that is what I paid for, then they showed that the equipment was working as expected and that the duct work in my house was likely the cause of the issue, but they still replaced my system with a bigger A/C unit than I should really need and they charged me nothing for it. The A/C in my master bedroom now works great! I was able to cool the master from 75º to 70º at 7:00pm in past couple of weeks when the highs outside were around 115º. It only takes about 1 hours to cool the room down now. I couldn't be happier.

These guys really know how to take care of their customers. All of the service technicians (Scott is the man), the people that answer the phones, Eric Johnson, and the owner all go out of their way to make sure you are happy. I will be a Scottsdale Air customer for life!

I have been using the crew at Scottsdale Air since 2001. There is absolutely no one else in the AC industry that I will work with. They have done all of the system replacements, repairs, and maintenance on all of my properties and I have never once had an issue with them. They will always go out of their way to make sure everything is taken care of. I have been referring them to family and friends for years, and I only wish they did electrical and plumbing too.

Scottsdale Heating and Air was very professional and helpful when my AC went out this summer. While having your AC go out during the hottest summer on record is stressful, these individuals were very professional and understanding. I will continue using them in the future.

I can't say enough good things about Scottsdale Air. I was having major issues with my Trane unit. Two other companies had come out and said they couldn't work on it because it was a Trane. Scottsdale Air is Trane Comfort Specialist. They sent someone out with 2 hours. This was later on a Friday. They diagnosed the problem and said they would be back first thing on Monday to repair it. They called before they even opened on Monday with a quote and sent a tech out that day. Dave (the tech) is an awesome guy! He definitely knows his stuff. He double checked eveything before starting the repairs and discovered that the problem was another part that was actually less expensive than what I thought had to be repaired. The Trane unit is working great now. Thanks to Dave and everybody at Scottsdale Air!

John with Scottsdale Air Heating & cooling serviced our 3 year old unit. We called to balance the air. He did that and so much more. He discovered a flaw from the original contractor that could have cost us our new unit. He fixed that free of charge. He was joined also by Justin and I could not recommend Scottsdale Air highly enough. Thank you for being competent and honest.

They installed my new Trane AC and new duct system and the results are excellent (performance and savings). Also, they perform the annual service on the AC at a very reasonable cost. I use this company for all my AC services because they are very professional and reliable.

I researched replacing our HVAC systems (upper and lower floor) for weeks. Eric Johnson at Scottsdale Air was not only the most knowledgeable sales person out of four different companies, but the most patient with my many questions. He helped me work through the decision process, even responding while on vacation. Ultimately, Eric gained my trust, gave me a great deal and we decided to move forward, selecting the Trane variable speed systems for both floors.

On installation day, the team showed up promptly, covered and protected all of the work areas and spent the day working into early evening to insure everything was working perfectly.

Since then, the word I would use to describe how we feel about our new HVAC systems and Scottsdale Air is 'delighted.' These systems are super quiet (compared to the old Goodman systems we had before) to the point where sometimes I have to look at the digital controls to even see that they are running. Further, we have noticed a much more 'even' feel to the temperatures in our home, not cycling between cool and warm but just staying consistently where it's set.

I can't say enough positive about Eric Johnson, the installation team and Scottsdale Air overall. Do not hesitate to let them repair or replace your HVAC. I'd give them six stars if I could!

Moved recently from Tucson to Chandler, AZ. Needed an old AC unit to be replaced ahead of the summer season. Scottsdale Air Heating and Cooling was recommended to me by the AC company that upgraded my system in Tucson. They were right on target!!!! The experience with Scottsdale Air Heating and Cooling was top notch from provision of a thorough estimate that included multiple options on available systems, the scheduling of the job, professional installation of my new system, clean up, and then explanation of the inner workings of the new Wi-Fi enabled controller. Scottsdale Air replaced our entire heating/cooling system last month. the crew was there exactly on time, did the installation without any drama, and cleaned the work areas before leaving. A couple of minor issues (always some with such an extensive job) were addressed promptly and effectively.

They were great. Showed up same day when the valley was in the middle of a super hot spell. Inside of 1/2 hr I had cool air back! Only 4 stars because they were a bit pricey at $350 for less than an hour and a $20 capacitor. $180 trip charge that doesn’t apply to repairs is a bit much too. But hey, they were responsive and got cold air going so I’m happy.

These guys were great. They knew what they were doing and did everything as planned and at the agreed price. They even fixed some minor settings in the thermostat that were set at default by accident. No extra charge.
