I did not do a cost comparison with other companies because I assume that the services may all be in a similar price range. The two times I have used Benefit has been totally worth it.

I've used Benefit Air for probably almost ten years now. They've always done a great job. We had 'em from before we replaced our 16 year old Trane and they installed our the new Trane system about six or seven years ago. I couldn't ask for better service! The customer service is top notch, the technicians are on their game, and the company specifically to my knowledge only does Air Conditioning work, so their techs are not forced to be a do it all plumber, electrical, A/C handyman that some of these other companies try to be. I personally think there are very few benefits to companies that try to have their techs do those types of varied jobs in different specialties instead of specializing in one area.

Recently they fixed our AC problem thermostat wiring issue, and for a reasonable price. I'd like to thank them for always being reliable and trustworthy! Shout out to Kyle and Caleb, for this most recent visit, and Chuck who has been our usual repair guy for so many past visits in previous years. I hear Chuck now heads up the the service/maintenance dept (or something like that) so we don't see him very much anymore, although still with the company. That says a lot if you know their employees are still there year after year. We haven't needed many repairs for our system, but when we do, we know it's going to be a call to Benefit Air. Thanks for keeping us cool all these summers!

Anthony from Benefit Air was very courteous and responsible and professional. He explained the issue with our unit, and was able to repair it. He replaced my air filters too. This company is very fair and reasonable. We have used them for years, and will continue to do so.

My experience with Benefit air started several years ago. My old A/C went out in July/August. I was referred to Benefit Air.
The initial visit was smooth and appreciated. The technician was informative and talked about the various options. He was able to fix the A/C and take an amount off the cost of installation to secure them the installation, instead of price shopping other companies. The new A/C worked for the remainder of the summer.
Issue #1
The next winter, the heater took a long time to heat the house, I called and was brushed aside on the phone, saying that heat pumps take awhile to heat in the winter. I assumed they knew what they were talking about and had a cold house for the remainder of the winter. Fast forward to the summer, the A/C was taking a long time to cool the house. I believe it took two visits for them to finally fix the issue of a leak that was causing the issue.
Issue #2
The unit worked fine for the next summer, and then I started to have issues with it not cooling in the winter. I had a technician come out and diagnose the issue as a faulty defrost control board. They were going to charge 114 for a warranty processing fee for a piece that was just over 2 yrs old. The installation charge was going to be 350 for swapping it out. (20 minutes of work) After getting a second opinion... The problem ended up just being a loose C-wire connection from their installation.....

They were friendly, so I won't give them a 1 star review. But, I would hope for a more competent diagnostic effort for expensive A/C work.

Anthony is always great to deal with when setting up the appointments and always takes care of me. Caleb came out and did the maintenance for the heating unit and did a great job.

AMAZING! I have a new AC company. And I will refer everyone I know to them! My AC went out in a Thursday afternoon. A different vendor got it running on Friday then it failed again after a few hours. I called Benefit Air, they were out on Saturday within a couple hours of my call and had me up and running shortly after arrival and found the underlying issue. Great service, very reasonable prices!

This is the third year I used Benefit Air to do my annual AC checkup. Cole came out the first 2 years and was excellent. Very professional and thorough. This time we got Juan, who was every bit as good as Cole. He was prompt, had great communication about the appointment, calling to let me know he could be there before the appointment time. This is the first time I used Benefit AC, after being referred by a friend. Scheduling the appointment was easy and the person who took my call was very professional and friendly. On the day of my service, the technician, Grafton, called ahead to let me know he would be there shortly. He did a thorough job, came and showed me the results. He was very polite and professional. Our air conditioner quit working on a Friday night and they had someone (Kyle) to our house the next day. The air conditioner had been worked on by another company the week prior and left a bit of a puzzle for Kyle to figure out, but he did. We are so grateful and blessed to have found you guys. Our very old AC system was replaced, both roof AC unit and interior air handling unit. Benefit Air crew did a thorough and careful job, even adding extra reliability and control devices. We were very happy with their installation work.

After a crazy week I came home to a house that felt a little hotter than normal. It was a hot day for April 1st in Phoenix but nothing compared to our relentless Summer”s. I checked the thermostat and it read 78, although the Thermostat was set to 74. I checked a few things and realized we needed to call a Pro. We messaged Benefit Air at 1130 PM. Being Friday I wasn’t expecting a response til Monday though hopeful. I got a message first thing on Saturday and our Technician came out at 10 AM a prompt. Juan called in advance to let us know when he would be here, and was the Utmost professional. He communicated the issues, discussed pricing and options as soon as he diagnosed the problem. Juan Made our Air conditioning nightmare an easy fix. He was great. I will always recommend him and his company Benefit Air LLC to friends and family. He even showed me how our disconnect in the attic was hardwired incorrectly and sent me a picture. He went way beyond what I expected. He should get an 11 out of ten if possible.

I had my AC communication control boards replaced by a small company about 3 weeks ago. Recently I noticed the 2 boards flashing red light which concerned me greatly... I contacted the technician but was told it was a non-issue. I thought if the system worked properly, it should flash green light instead.... So I called Trane's customer service to find out if the board had green light capability, the rep was not sure and told me to contact Benefit Air Conditioning for a 2nd opinion, so I did. Anthony, the customer service manager, answered the phone right away. After asking me a few questions of the unit, he assured me that the unit was working fine. I am writing this review because I really appreciate the fact that, after knowing the phone call was for 2nd opinion, Anthony did not try to set me up for a service call, instead, he patiently explained how to detect problems if there were any. His professional knowledge has greatly put my concerns at ease. Thank you, Anthony, for being so gracious. Benefit Air Conditioning has earned my respect and will be my go-to AC company in the future.

Everyone I had an interaction with it at Benefit was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.
I was impressed with the maintenance service call technician for my first experience, and I eventually had a brand new HVAC system installed by them.
They did a great job on the install and new ductwork in one day with good clean up and excellent communication throughout the process.

AC went out at the end of June. Called Benefit Air after my landlord's guy didn't answer his phone for an entire day. They came out the next day and fixed it quickly. Kyle was on time and professional, and did an amazing job.

We have used Benefit Air for many years now. Over this time, we have come to know probably most of their technicians, all of whom have been professional, knowledgeable, and honest. How honest? This company worked the numbers transparently and I would have no hesitation leaving my house with any of their work crew still there. How refreshing! We are always called in advance of their arrival and they are on time.

Benefit Air is my go-to AC crew. Our 25+ year old unit died during monsoon season and they were quick to come out, provide a quote, give their expert opinion AND provide us with a brand new unit in under a week during their peak season.

Of course, the salesman was nice (duh, you won't sell many units if you're mean). But, the true test of the company is their installation/repair crew. Each technician I have met has been extremely knowledgeable (I ask a lot of questions), friendly, and seems to genuinely care about what they're doing.

I highly recommend and will continue working with Benefit for my AC needs!

Kyle arrived early. After thoroughly checking out the AC unit, he determined that my issue might be with the thermostat, which he replaced. Hopefully that solves the problem.

Unfortunately, thermostat wasn't the problem. Kyle ended up replacing the AC circuit breaker. This cost me several hundred dollars ?. I live in an older home and expect things to need replacing from time to time.

Jeremy came to our house to do maintenance on our roof heat pump and in-house air purifier, known as a Trane Clear Aire. J was professional and friendly and did not miss a beat as far as covering all maintenance activities. I could converse with him lightly without his being too distracted. He was willing to answer questions I had about what manner of air conditioning machine I should get when the warranty ran out of the one he serviced. He should consider getting covid-19 immunization for the sake of Benefit customers who are prone to the disease (I had my shots). I have never regretted using Benefit air; all the workpeople we have seen seem to be a class act whose company I would recommend.

I have 6 AC units for this big house. Kole was here for several hours chemically cleaning all the coils as well as checking all parts, adding refrigerant where needed etc. He worked efficiently and left everything the way he found it. He explained exactly what he did and discussed taking a yearly contract to maintain the units in order to keep both heat and cold working efficiently. I agreed to take the yearly service for biannual tune ups and any problems any of the units experience. I have always been satisfied with the service I have received from Benefit Air from Anthony on the phone in the office to Kole and past service representatives.

I've used Benefit air for many years and habe always been more than satisfied with their service. Recently my A.C. unit started to do a less than adequate job of cooling down my house. It was 106 outside and the best my unit could do was cool the inside down to 88. I called Benefit Air and made an appointment for them to come out. They stated up front that the service call would be $84 minimum. After finding that my unit was low on refrigerant the technician told me there was a leak in the system. The good news was the leak was in a weld where they had replaced the compressor nearly two years ago. The even better news was the labor was still under the two year labor warranty by 10 days. Yes, 10 days! The technician was on the roof for nearly 4 hours fixing the leak. Near the end it was over 104 degrees with no shade on the roof. When he finished, I asked him what I owed him and he said, Nothing. He could have easily said the leak was some where other than the compressor and I would have had to believe him. I've always had this type of honest service from Benefit Air and I have recommended them to others many times. I think their motto could be, Benefit Air, where you benefit from our honesty. Thank you Benefit Air for your great service and my now cool home.

Benefit Air installed new A/C system in May. They were awesome not just in their quality of work and professionalism. Their integrity and customer service is genuine. These are just really great people! The service support today 4 mths after installation was consistent with the crew who installed May. Anthony was so prompt and reassuring setting up the service and the tech who came, Juan, was so polite, professional and thorough. Use these guys! Customer Focus and Service like these guys provide is a rarity these days. I trust them to di the work and i have faith they will get it done!

My parents were using home warranty to insure their air conditioning units. A few weeks ago, they went on vacation and both of their air conditioners went down. Home warranty left my elderly parents without air conditioning for three days before telling them they could not get the evaporator coil for one and it needed replacement. The other machine also had a crack in the evaporator coil and had a bad motor. Home warranty did not authorize the technicians that came out to fix these problems. My parents were at their wits end as it was 115 outside that whole week.
Upon calling Benefit AC, Chuck came out, assessed the situation, sized the machine requirements, and was able to give them a very reasonable price for replacing both units with a warranty for parts and labor. The units were installed quickly and efficiently two days later. Chuck and Kyle worked in the blistering heat all day to ensure we had cooling over the weekend to come.
Another week would pass and the monsoons came. Our roof began to leak. Even though we knew it was most likely not related to the new units, Benefit AC sent Chuck out to assess the situation again. Their roof needs work and the leak was unrelated to the new machines. Chuck took the time to clear the roof of debris and cleared the gutters that were clogged with debris as well. My family cannot begin to tell you how thrilled we are with Benefit AC service department for their care and professionalism. Thank you!

We first used Benefit Air approximately 6 years ago for a service call. It was determined that the unit needed replacement. Not the news you want to hear when the house was purchased the previous year. We had a smooth replacement, communication and professionalism were top notch. We have also continued to utilize their maintenance package. This consistes of a spring and fall check up. A representative would call and schedule a convenient time and a tech would arrive to complete the service, every time went smoothly. I highly recommend Benefit Air for any of your HVAC needs, excellent service.

I’ve used Benefit Air for over twenty years. They do outstanding work with great integrity and personal attention. I’ve had this unit for nearly twenty years and they’ve kept it working really well. Today Juan was here for our maintenance tune up. He spent over an hour making sure everything was dailed in for optimum efficiency. He explained so much. This is now my second year using benefit air. I have a 12 year old unit I have had other companies come out and do basic maintenance on over the years. When benefit air came out they identified maintenance issues that have been overlooked and neglected particularly in relation to the power consumption and electrical issues. This had been mentioned to me previously once before by another company but no recommendations or service has been done by them. Benefit air took care of it and my unit has been working great since. Their staff is professional and courteous. I would recommend them to a friend.

I first heard of Benefit Air conditioning on 9.60am radio. From My first contact with Becky, who answered the phone to Anthony, in the service department and then to Kyle the technician. Excellent Excellent service. Every detail was explained to me, I was informed what was good on the air conditioning, what was bad and my options of how to fix it. This is my first experience with Benefit air conditioning and I will continue to use only them, the price was within my budget. But the customer service, and the honesty and integrity was phenomenal. Chuck and his crew were great to work with. They installed a new system at my house yesterday. Felt confident they knew what they were doing. They did the install effectively and efficiently. They cleaned up after the work was done and it felt like they were doing the install at their own house. Would recommend them to anyone.

Benefit Air was very responsive from the start to end of the repair process. Their senior tech Chuck was very knowledgeable and was able to find the problem with our system that was restricting air flow to two upstairs bedrooms. He also has made recommendations on proper preventive maintenance, including the use of the properly designed filters.

I've used Benefit Air multiple times. They replaced 2 AC units for me, fixed 2 and helped my clients with inspections to ensure their system would be working when they purchased it. Paul Howard has been a huge help in guiding me through everything I needed. He shows up on time and explains everything I need to know about my unit so I can make an educated decision. I have only had good experiences with them and will be using them again in the future

The tech called 30min stating he was on his way. After his arrival, he engaged me conversation to better learn what issues I had been experiencing. Then he went to work diagnosing my two units on the side of the house. He was very competent and explained what he was checking and gave me a brief explanation of the inter-working of my system. After that, he moved inside with a plethora of sensors and probes to test temp and flow through my house. He made a few suggestions on my filters and how to manage replacement schedules on a regular basis.

I felt I was in very good hands with Benefit AC. I will have them out once a year going forward for my annual maintenance or any heating/cooling issues I experience in the meantime. Don’t hesitate to call these guys.

I own a rental property in Phoenix, but live out of state. I've had a service contract for maintenance checks every 6 months for the A/C unit with Benefit Air since 2011. This company is efficient, and customer service is excellent. Bottom line, I have peace of mind knowing that if anything should go wrong with the unit, especially in the Arizona heat, Benefit Air will be there to fix it. We have used these guys for years. They were the ones we called when the companies our home warranty used caused serious damage. They are reasonably priced and have truly competent guys that have provided great service.

Update. I had these guys out again for my seasonal tune-up. I forgot to schedule around my toddler's nap time and our air handler intake vent is in my kids room. I let them know when they called before they came and they were PERFECT! They didn't ring the door bell, but instead knocked quietly. They didn't make peep the whole time they were here and my son slept soundly. Not only are these guys good but their customer service is amazing!

Benefit Air installed our system 3 years ago. We have a service contract with them that provides 2 system maintenance visits per year. Grafton came today to do the maintenance. He was friendly and professional, as have past technicians that have been to our home.

I was referred to this company by a trusted friend who runs a property management company and has had positive experiences with them. I immediately felt like this was a good choice from the first interaction. They have a small company feel and offer quality service at a fair price. Their twice a year maintenance plan is economical and also appreciated since they handle the reminder and scheduling for you. I have really been impressed with their honesty on evaluating what repairs may be needed now versus those that could be postponed. Just like finding an honest mechanic finding an honest AC company in Arizona is a valuable commodity! I would happily recommend Benefit AC to anyone else.

I've had great experiences with Benefit Air. They inspected a home I was trying to buy and helped us make an informed decision (we decided not to buy it). They have helped out on a few other occasions and since their technicians don't work on commission, I felt like I could trust what they were telling me. Our 20+ year old American Standard (Trane) was still cooling the house but was overextended after 30+ days of continuous heat wave operation and developed a condensate leak. That condition was repaired by a well known local company for $300. The technician then presented reasons for replacement of our 5 ton split gas system, and later emailed us a quote with the choice of a single or two stage York system. The company not able to deduct the $300 repair from the quoted prices. Two weeks later, our system developed a loud howling noise. Having noticed their recent Best of Phoenix award, we called BenefitAir. The technician, Kyle, solved the problem by replacing the blower motor for $1052. Before leaving the home, he presented us with system replacement options which included a Trane variable stage system at a competitive price, coupled with a 60 month 0% interest bank financing option and extended warranty. His offer to deduct the $1052 repair bill from the price of the system closed the deal. The new system was expertly installed by Scott and Nicolai a week later. Every customer service detail was handled perfectly by Anthony, all the paperwork was professionally prepared and there were no loose ends. Thanks to its build quality, variable stage operation and digital controls, the system cools the house completely and runs almost silently. We are glad we chose Benefit Air for this investment.

I contacted Benefit Air for a proposal to replace my split system. Paul was extremely professional during the quote process and was on time. The final proposal was very competitive, with no high pressure sales tactics.

Love Benefit Air! Cole came out yesterday morning to inspect and do scheduled maintenance on my HVAC system. He called 25 minutes prior to showing to give me a heads up. He performed the service and asked more than once if the system was working well and if I needed him to check anything else (thermostat). I also want to give a big thank you to the tech that repaired my unit on Christmas Eve last year. It was acting “funny” for a couple of weeks and he was able to acquire a special replacement part and get it working properly before Christmas. I whole heartedly recommend Benefit Air!

Juan did an excellent job on my AC. There was a short in the breaker which was causing the unit to not to work. He repaired that, and I went ahead and had him do a complete tune-up since we were getting into the summer months. He was thorough and detailed even sending pictures of all the work (before and after) that he had done which we didn't ask him for. I would highly recommend Benefit Air to anyone who needs their AC fixed.

Had a unit go out and Cole the first tech that came out was super friendly, helpful and took time to answer questions thoroughly when helping me figure out what to replace it with. Came to our winter place in Arizona and found the A/C would not cool down . Called Benefit Air on a recommendation from a neighbor. The repairman Juan came out within an hour . Checked out the system and found the problem. Parts were not available that day but he came back and fixed it the next day. Cleaned up after himself showed exactly what was done and the bill matched the estimate.

Mike runs a tight ship; he and his technicians (Jeremy and John came out for us) are not only Knowledgeable in their Trane systems/products, they're very Courteous, Professional and overall Helpful with the dreaded experience of AC failure. Jeremy came out initially for the service/testing of our failed unit (Blowing hot air) after the monsoon storms. He gave us the 411 on our situation, was honest and forward with our options, and wasn't pushy with sales whatsoever. In fact, we simply paid for that days service work/tests and the technician was on his way. We wanted to see if our unit could hold on, but it was too far gone from abusive renters and internal damages were stacking up. We called Benefit Air the next week, they sent Jeremy within a few hours to run the same tests for free. Knowing we needed a new unit, and having dealt with Benefit Air at my mother-in-laws home as well, we wanted them to install. 2 DAYS later, I can finally sit in my home office and work again!! I personally didn't know they could order and install a brand new unit on my roof that fast, which also needed a custom duct to adapt from my old unit style. Calling Benefit Air was truly a great experience! Thank you Jeremy, John and Mike for you hard work, help and service!

They went above and beyond when they did not have to. Extremely personable and had pleasurable interactions with all members of the benefit team. They showed up quicker than they needed to. Honestly, I can write a chapter on the experience and how great it was. They made sure I had what I needed, and honestly made sure I didnt pay for something I did not need.

After having worked with companies that heavily advertise here in the valley, I finally went with the manufacturer's recommendation and called Benefit Air. These guys know the product (Trane) and they're small enough so that you even recognise the technicians after awhile, who also at least ACT like they remember you too. I have never been steered in a wrong direction by this company, sold stuff I didn't need or had to pay for fixes that didn't work. As long as I own a Trane, Benefit Air will do the maintenance.

Benefit Air and Mike Elia are fantastic. We moved from a home with a 2012 model A/C unit into a home with an extra 2000 sq ft of living space and a Benefit Air installed variable speed Trane XV in 2015. Our electric bills (even in The hot summer months) are literally LOWER than before we moved. Hard to believe how well it works. We feel Benefit Air has always been fair, honest, prompt and fairly priced. Would definitely recommend giving them a call!!

Chuck is an excellent technician. He is very professional, and his quality of work is always excellent. He explains, in detail, everything he performs on the a/c unit very thoroughly. Charged 189 dollars for 5 min worth of NOT quality work. Wanted a drain line ran off roof line Guy was obviously not happy to be here working which is fine But couldn't take 10 more minutes to bring it over my roof line,but then immediately sent someone back out the next Monday to fix the problem and threw in a free credit for work to be done Anthony was the man who fixed the problem quick will always refer them to friends and family

We have used Benefit Air for years regarding maintenance service for our AC. It was time to replace our unit and we choose Benefit Air because their service as always been professional, good value and an excellent warranty.

My A/C went out in the middle of the night. My daughter Kelly had used Benefit Air for a check up on her A/C unit a few months ago and was happy with their service, so I called them. The technician Kyle came earlier than expected, which was great. Kyle diagnosed the problem quickly and explained in detail what the problem was. He fixed the problem and as we waited for the air to cool down the house, Kyle patiently answered the questions I had regarding how to set my thermostat and we discussed the best kind of filters to used for my A/C unit. Even though it was the end of the day, Kyle was willingly to stay to answer all of my questions. He was very knowledgeable about how an AC unit functioned and was very patient. I am recommending Benefit Air to my family and friends and I hope this positive review will generate more satisfied customers.

Benefit Air came for first check up and installed additional parts:a starter assist and a surge protector. Technician took pictures of items after installing and made me feel secure that those items will protect our AC unit.

Poor experience & attitude from repair rep. He just walked in our house from the back (without knocking first) and just sat down.

Claimed we owed a past due balance from a year ago. I pulled up my credit card billing statement showing a $79 service call & $440 repair that we *did* pay last year.

Rep said I had a balance of $158 for a service call. I told him that they probably made a mistake and just charged us a service fee for one unit instead of two. The repairman said in a snarky condescending tone Oh you don't know you had two units? of course I knew. His company just didn't know how to charge for them.

I'm happy to pay the difference. Just without the attitude and poor customer service. Need further repairs and will be contacting a different company.

Jim called ahead and they arrived at 8:45am. They removed the old Carrier system and installed the new Trane system in 4 1/4 hrs. The guys were awesome! Professional, courteous and cleaned up after all the work was completed. Answered all of our questions and gave us full instruction on connecting our iPhones to the thermostat. ???

A friend recommended my husband and I give Benefit a call when we began looking for quotes on a new HVAC system for our home. Paul (sales) was AMAZING. He took the time to fully inspect our current system, discuss our needs/wants in a new system, educate us, and tell us how Benefit could help us get everything we were looking for. This is my second installation of new equipment with Benefit, and they did a great job again. Benefit was $800 cheaper than the other company also. Their salesman, Paul, was great to work with, providing answered to my many questions.

Benefit air installed a multi-zone mini split in our home back in October. It has been truly wonderful, until I got an error code that I was unable to locate in the instruction manual or online. Placed one call to benefit air, they set me up with an appointment the same week. Kyle came out today, was actually early, called me before he arrived to give me an ETA. He was able to identify and fix the error code. Not only did he spend the time locating the problem and fixing the problem, he helped me to learn how to take the filters out, very easy, and spent an additional 15 minutes or so checking the unit just to make sure that it was not going to repeat. Since I was still under warranty, there was no service call, no charge at all! Highly recommended.

When the appointment was made , a time window between 1-3 PM. He arrived at 1.
He completed the inspection in about an hour.
While he mentioned their 1 yr service contract, he explained it in a manner in which it was informative as opposed to sales pressure.

I called another HVAC company who never called me back. I went online and found a highly recommended company named BenefitAir and contacted them via their Email. They returned my call nearly immediately and were able to schedule a technician to come to my house that same day.

Final result was my 12 years old a/c was kaput. The technician gave me a quote for various SEER models of Trane units with costs and rebates included AND 48 month NO INTEREST financing.

The installation was flawless and the team of installers efficiently worked together to complete the work. I got a 10 year warranty on parts, labor and repairs from Trane. I’m very satisfied with BenefitAir, Lead Installer Scott, and his team!

We bought a new home and the builder undersized the air conditioning resulting in a home that was not comfortable in the Phoenix summers. We had done some research and wanted to replace the original system with a Trane system and started looking for authorized installers in our area. Benefit Air had great reviews and came personally recommended by someone I work with. They did a great job and we are looking forward to our first summer with the new system.

Benefit scheduled an appt for us the same-day when our a/c stopped working, and Juan was great - he called 20 min before arrival, quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue, was friendly, happily explained everything, and was extremely helpful!

Cole came out within 45 minutes of our call to work on our failing AC. He was able to quickly identify the problem that a prior company had looked over just a month earlier. He worked with our home warranty company. In less than an hour, he had our unit fixed and blowing colder than ever before. He was courteous, professional and made sure to take care of all our needs and questions. The best service call that me and my wife have experienced. We were originally set up with another company but when we went for a second opinion Chuck came over did the assessment and he was able to break everything down to us to where we could understand it. He informed us that they would be here at 7:30 the next morning and they were. Our techs were Chuck and Jeremy, absolutely polite, clean and professional they jumped right in to get the job done. We referred Benefit Air Conditioning to a client who was selling their home as the AC units were on their last leg. Benefit Air showed up on time, gave two options: 1) repair the unit (band aid on a wound) 2) Replace (best option as these were 20+ years old). Went with replacing and they did the job in a timely manner and even transferred the labor and parts warranty to the new homeowner after the home was sold! Deserves 10 stars. A first-class group of folks, from management to office staff to technicians. Needed to replace 2 old Trane combo A/C and gas heat units. They came in with the best estimate, no pressure, didn't try to up-sell, and even gave us suggestions for a couple ways to save even more. Ultra careful in planning and executing every aspect of install; left the house cleaner than they found it. All good, but it got better. We discovered the new gas heater/blower located in an inside closet in the bedroom wing was way louder than expected and than the old one had been. Not Benefit's fault, just the way Trane designs them these days. They stepped right up to the plate, didn't shirk, and worked diligently on a solution to buffer the noise, and it's way quieter now. Truly outstanding. Would buy another unit from them in a minute but we won't need one now. But you might, and you'll sure benefit from calling Benefit!

The repairman came out on a Saturday and repaired the unit so we could cool off and we ordered a new unit. It was installed today by two of the nicest guys (our repairman was amazing as well) We couldn’t be happier and we will recommend them to everyone we know.

After many years of faithful service my old Goettl heat pump finally gave up requiring replacement. I contacted Benefit Air and found them very helpful in answering my questions and offering suggestions for replacement. After their tech made a very thorough evaluation of my system, he went over suggestions for a new Trane a/c system. We also discussed adding a new duct run to improve airflow in part of the house.
I then selected a new Trane 4 ton heat pump, and the additional duct run. The installation crew was very prompt, professional, and efficient in all the work performed, and was diligent in cleaning up areas impacted by their work. I found their prices to be fair, and I took advantage of their complete 10 year warranty. It seems I have found an air conditioning company that I can trust and highly recommend to others.

Great, personal, friendly customer service! Anthony is wonderful and we especially love Kole! This is our first house and we had some AC problems 3 years ago. Kole has been servicing our unit twice a year ever since. $189 for a twice per year check up on your AC. I had an amazing experience with the Benefit Air team. We experienced our air conditioner freeezing while on vacation and came back to a pretty toasty house here in Phoenix, AZ during our monsoon season( that is heat and high humidity combined) I contacted Benefit and received a call back within 15 minutes of calling from Paul and then another from Mike as soon as they opened to discuss the issues we were facing. They were very prompt on getting a tech out to take a look at the issues and giving us clear options ALL while doing what they could do in the moment to help the situation. The folks at Benefit Air are my heroes! After two weeks of dealing with the sub-standard technicians provided by my home warranty company, Chuck came to the rescue. He arrived on-time, quickly identified and corrected the problem source, recharged the systems and had both AC units up and running in no time.

The service tech, Juan, was very professional. After cleaning and checking my Heat Pump, Juan gave me a thorough explanation of the condition of my unit. He answered all of my questions politely and without rushing.

Juan came out on 3/31/2021 to service my ac unit he was on time wearing a mask . He was friendly , polite and professional he checked the system change and electrical components every working working fine ready for summer I would highly recommend Juan and benefit air conditioning to family and friends .

We requested an annual service on our five-year-old Trane XR14. The machine had been running fine and we thought a service might just improve its conditions. A guy named Juan came to our house on July 3. No major problem was found. He adjusted our controller from one-stage to two-stage, stating that it's more efficient. He also recommended refilling Freon. On July 6 he came again and refilled Freon. Afterwards AC was producing more noise, and it feels like it was up and running very hard. We didn't pay too much attention as the machine was still producing cool air. But on August 9 the machine just completely stopped producing cool air. We found the outside fan shutdown. We called BenefitAir the same day. Charles Watson, the service manager, came to our house on August 10. As it was over one month from the last service, we were told we have to pay the minimum service charge $84, with which we agreed before his coming. After inspection, he said we have two options, one is to replace the motor of fan and starter. It cost about $1200 but this doesn't guarantee AC would work. If there is leakage of Freon in AC compressor coils, the machine will soon broke. So second option is to replace the whole unit. The price tag for XR16 is about $10k.
We sat at the 109 degree room, trying to make a decision if we should spend $1k or $10k on our machine in 5 minutes. We tried to understand why everything works fine before their service. We didn’t know what happened and we are not technical, but it is just a bit coincident that after the service the machine started to have problem. He explained to us there were no wiring problem he could identify from the previous service. There are all kinds of possibilities such as the original installation could mess up the machine, and so forth.
In the end we didn’t go with his recommendation. We had another guy over and fixed the fan at almost half of his quote. So far the machine is working fine.

I have been extremely pleased with the service I have received from Benefit Air Conditioning, and more specifically, my technician, Kole. Small family owned business with real customer appreciation. Used them to install our new 5 ton split system heat pump and I knew the variable speed system was more than I wanted to spend and Paul (the estimator/sales guy) gave me quotes in my original price range but also included the cost for the nicer more expensive system. He then left without pressuring me and after a few hours of doing my own online research everything he said checked out and I decided to step up to the variable speed unit. Only a four days of use so far but since APS shows electrical usage by the day and hour I can already see the decrease in electrical use right there on the APS website. Sure some of that is just because it's a new unit compared to my 16 year old goodman system but it still helps to justify the decision and there are no more hot spots in the house in the afternoon because there is constant air flow. Love the unit so far and love the professionalism of this small company team.

I’m getting a new air conditioner and haven’t got it yet but Benefit Air has been to my home three time to keep the old air conditioner unit alive until the scheduled date of my new one to be installed. Every time they come over and I thank them for keeping me cool the answer always is “ No problem we’re Benefit Air and that’s what we do.”

Juan came out and diagnosed the problem. Clearly explained the problem and options to resolve the problem. Jeremy and the install team arrived, installed new condenser, air handler and thermostat. Explained how the new thermostat worked. Very satisfied with the entire team.

The guys worked a long hard day and had positive attitudes and were even funny to listen to as they worked and sang songs while they did the project and they were very kind and professional!! Hard to evaluate the quality and value just yet but i have a good feeling i got a good product!! Thanks so much for your hard work!!

I contracted benefit Air to provide and install a top line, complete, rooftop Trane heat-pump and duct work system during my home remodeling. The technicians were polite, diligent and hard working. With a few hiccups and delays the system was installed on budget but not on time.
The design was not calculated through an engineering program but, instead through the lead technicians 30 years of experience. Unfortunately, the design of the system ie register and return air locations leave me wanting for an even temperature throughout the house and the noise of the unit is akin to a freight train, much more noise than the previous, 25 year old unit. The only upside to the experience is the energy savings. The unit is incredibly efficient.....now if it only kept the house at the desired temperature........ evenly.
