After signing up with DD for annual service on our old HVAC systems, we eventually had two new units installed and we are very happy with Desert Diamond! They are very friendly and professional. They service our units twice a year and we’ve never had any hassles. I definitely suggest getting on their maintenance contract plan! You are a priority especially in the summer months when things can get very squarely and uncomfortable!!

I had an old AC unit go out at my house. Had 4 companies come out and quote a replacement. Desert Diamond was prompt, clear about options, not sales-y, and also had the best price by far. Normally I'm skeptical of lowest price options, but reading reviews here I decided to go for it. They were quick, thorough, and did a great job on the installation. I also had them out to clear a condensate line, and do seasonal inspections on my other 2 units. We had our air conditioning system blow all Freon out and after a power surge explosion. Andrew, Martin and Alex responded quickly and professionally! We were without air conditioning for five days and were staying in our house when it was 114 degrees outside and with our family until Desert Diamond Mechanical provided us with a temporary cooling system and our son provided one to ease our heat exposure. Martin and Alex installed the new cooling system in 7 hours doing a wonderful job. We are grateful to Desert Diamond

Scheduling an appointment was so easy. They estimated ab arrival between 12-3pm but would try to arrive earlier and my technician was here at 10:45! Jordan Kay was my technician and he was great. Professional and courteous, took time to explain everything and made sure to double and triple check that everything was running and I was getting cold A/C before finishing up. I would absolutely work with this company again and hope to have the same friendly technician as well!

Hard to believe that people call you when they are on their way. The maintenance was completed and a thorough review was explained in layman's terms to me by Ryan which I totally appreciated. These guys are awesome, Julio came in and had my ac working under an hour. I called at 11:45pm last night and they had someone here at 7am this morning. We have a 10 month old and needed ac asap. Ivan was outstanding. First he came to check out our system do to an error message on the thermostat. He researched the problem and then came back to do the repairs. He was really good. Phenomenal customer service! When our AC went out, all the other companies we called didn't answer or the expected call back never came. Ivan called back in ten minutes. He was extremely courteous and set up an appointment first thing the very next day, with only an hour window. He went straight to work and solved our problem quickly. Update: Our A/C finally died. But Desert Diamond came and saved the day. Dakota came out and set us up with a portable unit to survive while it was out. But it was only out for a few days before the team came out and replaced it for us. Great speed, great service, and superior customer service.

Desert Diamond is an excellent company to deal with. They gave us a great price on our new Trane AC/heat pump package unit with quality installation, and they provide professional and courteous service. Technician Isaac performed a periodic inspection on our unit today and he arrived on time, was very courteous, and did a great job.

Installer was by himself because coworker was ill. Still got the job done in a timely matter by himself and didn’t cut corners. Did an excellent job. Scheduler, estimator and installer all first class. Highly recommended

Steve was exceptional. I told him our attic was pretty tight and he was wick to respond “no worries” he will find a way to see what can be done and he delivered. Steve got up into the attic and assessed the issue and we are able to add two vents to our AC unit to our master Br which faces east. Might I add he ensured he didn’t leave one piece of mess behind and even covered my shirts in the closet. We have utilized Desert Diamond in the past and have always been pleased with their service! Just had my seasonal maintenance today. On time and professional as usual. Had to replace a couple of parts. Good to go again. Even though the costs of parts and labor are hard to take, it’s best to replace as you go along. It will help my unit perform longer and more efficiently. I trust Desert Diamond and recommend them

Nixa Gomez came out to do an annual checkup on our heating unit. She was nice to see how our A/C unit was holding up since May 2022 of our last maintenance check. She also was very informative and ran me through some hypothetical scenarios with what to have done to prevent future expensive repairs based off of her experience with A/C. She let me know that our system is working very efficiently and sees no issues. She was kind enough to give me a run down on my AC unit and what to look for if any mishaps occur with my AC unit prior to calling for service. She was very nice and I look forward to continuing my business with her and Desert Diamond.

We have used Desert Diamond Mechanical before. But never in our 35-year marriage and our 5 years in residence here in Surprise, Arizona have we ever had the top-notch service that Hayden provided us with. He cared enough about us to come back after his long day with the part he needed to fix our furnace. We are seniors and he just flat out cared about us. Heads up to his boss, Cody. Hayden is a keeper.

Ismael called and said he was on the way. He got here on time preformed his maintenance on unit. He explained everything that he tested. Said what should be done in future. No sales pressure. Can’t ask for anything more than that

It began in January 2018. I got a crazy idea to move our kitchen to give us an open floor plan. Our home is a John F Long home built in 1977. It was a very difficult task to find a competent HVAC company to do the difficult re-engineering of our system. I finally found Desert Diamond Mechanical. They had to move intake and take supply to wall not an easy task to engineer or install, but they came through and knocked it out of the ball park!! I had the pleasure of working with Rocky at the onset- On to Ben to determine if design would work properly, then onto the crew that helped Ben with install- David, Frank, Austin, and Wade. It went very smoothly and works fabulously. Ben really helped relieve my stress of the whole thing with his fun sense of humor.

It turned out beautiful and works wonderfully!

Received a bid on HVAC system and Steve gave us a thorough inspection and opinion of what was needed and several options to fix.

I called to have our system checked out for the season. A nice young man named Ismael Sosa serviced our unit this year. He was very nice and knew his job. Thank goodness, as we would definitely have had some problems in the near future. This company has been servicing our unit for a few years now. They have done a good job each and every time they come out. Their prices are fair and honest!! I highly recommend them.

My service tech, Nexa, was fantastic! She diagnosed the problem and advised me of the specific parts that were in need of replacement and the cost of the all the work prior to the repairs starting.

After 10 years of bandaging a Carrier system we opted for a new Trane system. I did my research and had 5 bids for the work. Desert Diamond bid was in middle but their attention to every detail is what sold me. There was zero pressure to buy now. I received plenty of information on schedule time and updates leading up to the install. During the furnace install there was an issue where our dryer was damaged. The install crew leader was upfront and explained exactly what happened. He mentioned he had already contacted the office to coordinate a replacement. I was extremely pleased with the quick response from the management team and assurance the issue would be resolved quickly. I am glad I chose Desert Diamond for this work and suggest you give them serious consideration for your AC needs.

Matt arrived early (with a call ahead to see if I was available), assessed the issue quickly and had a repair estimate for me within 20 minutes. After I approved the repair, he was able to pick up the part and have the A/C unit in my showroom back up and running in less than 2 hours. He saved the company potential days of rescheduling and thousands of dollars in the loss of potential sales because we could not have customers in out showroom until the A/C was working again!! Excellent service from the initial inspection and estimate for replacement to the final installation and clean up. Steve was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He took the time to pass on his expertise and explained my options in detail. The final cost was lower than competitors who offered so called discounts. I would highly recommend this company to friends and family needing any a/c service.

I called Desert Diamond Mechanical to get a quote on a new unit. Steve called me back. Took some information, he very professionally answered all my questions. Within 15 min or so he emailed me several options( different options are always good). I Would highly recommend based on the professionalism alone.

P.S so it turns out my best option was to replace system. Desert Diamond Mechanical was great they scheduled an install right away ( 3 days ). Install was today. I am extremely impressed with the team of professionals that work at Desert Diamond Mechanical, the installers Estevan and Dennis where great they said I would have service in 6 hours and I did. I also asked them to get me info on insulation and Steve Schilling stopped by just as they finished up and gave me 2 options of estimates.. I really like the way Desert Diamond Mechanical does business, and I highly recommend them.

Tech Branden came out and took care of my air conditioner. I was so grateful, I called about 4:15 pm and he was at my house shortly after 5. The house was beginning to get really warm. Branden was amazing, he was very professional and explained to me everything he was doing, he was very thorough, by the time he left there was no doubt he cared about making the quality of service I received was important. I am very much a customer type person, I’ve worked as a customer service job and believe it is very important to provide the service the customer expects. Brendan is a top notch technician, very impressed and totally satisfied. Therefore, I will use this company in the future.

I was so impressed with Desert Diamond! Their technician Isaac was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. They performed their tuneup maintenance quickly and efficiently. Isaac took the extra time to answer my specific questions about our cooling and heating system and I feel much more informed about any next steps I need to take. And those next steps will absolutely be with Desert Diamond!

We've had a maintenance plan with Desert Diamond for a few years, and they've always been fantastic. Just completed our winter maintenance, and Joe was great! He was super knowledgeable and nice! He made sure to mention a few things to keep an eye on so we keep our system running and in good condition. Their team is always on time and has never missed an appointment. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable a/c service!

Update: i called and asked to speak to Carlos- the owner of the establishment. After further review of our unit from our ac tech, who was unavailable at the time of DDM service, we found that our unit was under warranty. My friend Ryan did not even ask or investigate a warranty of our unit. Just charged us an absurd amount. As much as I appreciate Cody's response, it doesn't change the fact that we were ripped off. Ryan did not provide a service. Had it not been for me asking him to wait for cold air to blow from our ac, he would have left immediately after the retire. He did the job and left. I would never in my life call what he did a service. If Cody thinks that's service, their business is doomed for failure. I'll wait for my call from Carlos.

My tech, Ryan, was behind in the times. He spoke to my husband politely and answered all his questions. The second I, a female, asked a question he visibly rolled his eyes and would not acknowledge my presence or speak to me. This company charged over $500 for a part that cost $50. I understand you need to make a profit, but $450 is absolutely ridiculous. My hands were tied unfortunately. Also, Ryan told us he couldn't work on the ac while it was raining, then proceeded to fix it while it was still raining. Hopefully I won't have more damage done to my unit because of his ignorance. I will never recommend this company. Shady, shady, shady.

I had a great experience with Desert Diamond. Nixa came out multiple times for AC repair, estimate for replacement, and measurements. We absolutely loved Nixa, how friendly she was, knowledgeable, and professional! They were very quick with the replacement as well, with great financing options! Josh and Esteban came for the replacement, and again, I cannot state enough just how friendly, professional, and knowledgeable they were! They were on time, very efficient and quick with the replacement, and respectful while inside installing the new vent cover and thermostat. They also made sure to show me how to use the new thermostat, showed me photos of the new AC unit installed, and gave me great advice for keeping animals from getting under the unit again. Trey is one in a million, He called me ahead of time to let me know he will be at my house in 30 min or less, and he showed up on time! He was super nice to my 2 dogs :) Trey is a very professional technician, he knew the project that needed to get done and finished in a timely manner. Brandon is an awesome dude, came and replaced air filters at our shop. My biggest gripe is the gouging of pricing desert diamond charged for being here a total of 10 minutes. Prior to this visit, We had them come and maintenance our units which I told them to bring filters (that’s maintenance, no?) the tech arrives and tells me we have to get the filters ourselves, and to call and have them back out to replace them. This irritated me that I’d have to pay another trip charge of $89, but I thought whatever. Brandon comes today and tells me it is $250 (an hour or commercial labor) to replace the filters. He was understanding of my frustration and also agreed it wasn’t fair, but he was under direct instruction. I’m not about haggling companies on price, but I think this price is extremely unfair given that we had already paid for the maintenance, as well as had to SUPPLY your company with the filters. Not cool. Hopefully someone will reach out from customer service, otherwise I may need to adjust the rating of this review.

You will not be disappointed. All work was done by employees not subcontractors. Every employee was quick with answers or with follow up if they didn’t have an answer. We shopped around and this was definitely the best value based on the best rated work. These are the guys if you don’t want your investment to be a waste. There’s always someone cheaper, and those people always prove it to you by the work performed. I would do it all over again with Desert Diamond.

This establishment is true to their name! Their communication, attention to detail, the plethora of information shared was beyond expectations. Matt came out to assess our issues, he took precise measurements, provided options to units and financing. It was a one-stop-shop and we are grateful! On installation day, the guys, Alex, Alexandro, and Anthony showed up on time, called ahead, and went right to work. They installed two (2) units, duct work, new filter grates, thermostats, AND cleaned up within 6 hours. We are beyond grateful for all their hard work, especially in this Arizona summer heat. We are extremely thankful and grateful to all of you!

Desert mechanical is a quick reply on an emergency repair, went the extra mile and made everything work highly recommended my technician Julio kept me very up-to-date as to what was going on and how long it would take.

I had 2 AC units replaced by Desert diamond a couple years ago and the price, quality, and service have all been great. One of our newer units stopped working properly last weekend, so I called desert diamond to do a repair on Sunday morning. They arrived within an hour and fixed the problem immediately (blown fuse). I can’t say enough good things about that quick turnaround!

The technician investigated the issue with the HVAC and he very polite and honest, seeing how the issue was discovered on a Saturday, the part was warranty covered. He returned on Monday once he was able to pick up the part and had the HVAC operating .

Technician was very knowledgeable and explained everything he did and took pictures of meter readings and of work while in the process of doing the maintenance on the unit.

Desert Diamond replaced my entire system. I chose them after obtaining three estimates. They were not cheap, but there is no cheap in the HVAC business. All of my interactions were with Steve. He kept all of his promised dates and got back to me when he said he would, although he was pretty harried on call. I believe he was just overworked at the time. I would use this company again.

I've been doing business with Desert Diamond for nearly 20 years, when it was just Carlo doing it all. They are very professional and I've never had any issues with them trying to upsell me on something not critically needed. I just had my semi-annual PM service and the tech was Cody. All of the techs are great but I am always impressed with Cody, he goes above and beyond and takes the time to explain what he saw and shows me pictures to back up what he says. He is friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. With employees like Cody on staff I will continue to do business with Desert Diamond.

This business has earned their high rating. I called today because my AC went out and the company that installed it did not have any openings for a while. This company was able to send a technician out within a few hours, who was able to quickly use identify the issue and fixed it, and also took the time to find the cause and corrected it. Hopefully this means the issue is settled! I'll definitely recommend this company from here on out.

I was in need of a complete new system install, heat pump and air handler. During the in home consultation I became aware of attention to detail that the other companies didn't offer so I went with Desert Diamond Mechanical. The technicians that performed the work carried over the same attention to detail. The air handler required additional configuration to be the most efficient possible and the end result was more even air flow throughout making for a much more comfortable home. Even the thermostat is high quality and user friendly. The new system is far above what I had and I'm completely satisfied. If someone is looking for attention to detail and a very professional install Desert Diamond Mechanical is an excellent choice.

Steve from Desert Diamond came out to give us an estimate on replacing our A/C unit. We have had several people come out to quote on this. Steve was the most detailed on his explanation and why we were having issues with temp differences within the home. He provided us with several options and explained the difference and value of each. We were impressed with his presentation. I would highly recommend that when it comes time to get quotes for a new A/C unit that you include these guys as one of the companies giving you a quote. His quote for a 14 seer and 17 seer 2 stage unit were more competitive than the competition. By the way these guys are approved vendor with rebates from APS. Not the $200 you usually hear about but the big rebates going on because of Covid. I am just going through the competitors so I can make a decision on who to use. Desert Diamond is in the final selection group. Steve came back to do final inspection. He corrected some things while he was inspecting. Once again very thorough in his inspection and explanations. Nice going Steve! So, the A/C unit was installed. I had Steve come back to review the installation. For the most part everything was pretty good. Steve did take care of the issues that remained. The one thing I would recommend to the company, is that the guys like Steve oversee the installation teams and review the final installation. There does seem to be a disconnect between the guys like Steve and the install team. Steve had impeccable notes on what needed to be done on the installation. He also had detailed info on what the install team needed to bring to the install. Unfortunately this did not happen. There were items missing and their were some things that were not done. When Steve came back to review everything he fixed most of the things that were still not complete. Thanks again Steve!

Desert Diamond did a super job replacing our heat pump. Every aspect of this experience was done very professionally. The estimate was top notch and everything was explained in great detail. The job itself went very well . I was quite impressed with the fact that a couple of the managers came out to help the technicians so that they could get done a little early on a Friday after working late the night before. The inspection after install was also handled very well. Ivan helped me troubleshoot the installation of a new thermostat. We figured out the problem, I fixed it, and he called me back to make sure the unit was working. He saved me a lot of money by helping over the phone. It was 9:00 pm on Father’s Day and he still provided his services. He’s a wonderful asset to this company.

Exceeded expectations. Our AC went out last night and this morning I called several companies only to have a tech available the next day. I needed someone today and found that with Desert Diamond. They scheduled me within 4 hours of my call and then were able to come earlier due to a cancellation. Our technician, Nixa, was knowledgeable, personable and explained everything in detail. This company was wonderful to work with.

I called because my tenant reported the AC was out at 7PM. Shortly thereafter I received a call back from the on-call tech and he was out a couple hours later to get the system working again. I am very satisfied with their promptness and service! Thank you!

Ivan did a maintenance tune up on my heater/furnace today. He went up on the attic checked the furnace to make sure everything was working, afterwards he went outside and checked out the two units. When he was done he explained what he did and how yearly maintenance will extend the life of the Heater and A/C. Would highly recommend Ivan and Desert Diamond.

Ryan Crutchley did a maintenance tune up on my two A/C units. Checked both units outside and then went up on the attic to check the unit there. Afterwards he explained what he found (everything checked out good) made some recommendations but didn't pressure me with a sales pitch just pointed out things for the long run. He was very professional and emailed me his report with his findings, complete with photos, Highly recommend him.

Ok I may have spoken to soon after Crutchley left the A/C stopped working so I called Desert Diamond and they did the right thing by sending over Ivan Flores. Flores went up the attic, located the problem and corrected whatever mistakes were made earlier. He came down and told me he got one of the units working but the other one was still down. He went outside, checked the unit there, then went back up the attic and got the other one working. Flores did an excellent job and is very knowledgeable, if my A/C ever breaks down I hope they send him. No I wasn't charged for the second trip (came at 7:30 pm) and yes I still plan to use Desert Diamond. They've serviced my A/C for the past several years with no problems and have always been very professional and fair priced. Again my thanks to Ivan Flores

This is an excellent company to work with. Tells you honestly what work needs to be done and doesn't try to sell you an entire AC system when all you need is a repair. Great advice. Was ontime and took care in doing his job. Too many AC repair guys today are commissioned sales people. They only want to sell you everything new. It is getting harder to find the people who will do the repair instead of replacing everything. This is a company who will do repairs and also do replacements if that is what you need and want. Would recommend to others.

He showed (Matthew) when expected. I was told by the home inspectors that the heater did not work. It fired right up and he did a check on everything. So he was honest and did not try to sell me new unit like the other person did. Saved me a few thousand!These people are honest and very dependable. I would recommend them to anyone. Our air conditioning went out a few days ago. We have two units that are 24 years old. My husband and I called Desert Diamond today expecting to be told it was time to upgrade our HVAC.
Ryan showed up within an hour of my first call. I explained to him the problems we were having with one of the units and how the fan would not kick on.
He came back in and showed us our capacitor (it was ballooned out) and also explained that a fuse might have been blown since the fan didn’t kick on (it was). He replaced both and our air is up and running!
He had taken his time explaining what caused the unit to fail and what we could expect with our current units. He did advise us that we are on borrowed time (which we knew). However he did buy us more time to prepare!

**New review notes. I will NOT be recommending this company to anyone!! My daughter’s 2 year old unit had a coil leak out all the refrigerant. Personally I believe if a part is defective and leaks out another “part” it should all be covered by the original warranty. Also I believe when an invoice is sent and 2 employees of the company verified that price it should not suddenly be doubled before the parts will be replaced and she can move back into her home (which right now is 97 degrees so they are staying with me). She is a single mother trying to support her son and herself which is not easy in this economy. I believe the company and owner should honor the original invoice. I will definitely not be recommending this company to any of my Sun City friends. Good luck to you if you don’t read the low reviews on google or listen to past customers.

Ryan was knowledgeable of the AC unit and quickly identified two capacitors that needed replacement. I was charged $354.02 for one of the capacitors - I looked for it on line at Granger and they sell it for $19.43 and another replacement for $118.53. I understand a markup of parts, but I will NEVER do business with your company again. My unit is due for replacement and your company will not be considered!

Ryan did a great job ! Every time we call in need of service they come out right away regardless of what day it is . I called at 11:30 pm on a Saturday , the operated answered and understood the urgency ( it is July in Arizona ) . All techs were busy at that time but at 7am next day I got call saying the tech was on his way . By 9am I had cold air again They do make an effort to help people and that is rare nowadays .

The Service Rep, Andrew Parucki provided an insulation audit & A/C - Furnace replacement quotation for my home.
I feel he was both knowledgeable and professional with respect to the field he is involved in.

Scheduled for 8-11am service call, received a call at 7:45am saying he was 20 minutes away and at 8:05 the tech arrived. Clean uniform, wore booties on our house and got right to work. Very professional. Made a recommendation that we agreed with and the tech fixed it on the same appointment; not needing to schedule another appointment was greatly appreciated.

Don't use this company. They missed two appointment times and when the technician did finally show up he did not resolve my issue. I had already made my own diagnosis and he just confirmed it. I didn't have him do anything else because he wanted to charge me over $200 for a 5 minute fix. It was bad enough that he charged me $85 to confirm what I already new. The office does not explain the difference between a service call and a Tune Up which caused some confusion about how much and what I was being charged with. Save yourself the disappointment.

Very pleased with this company especially Cody who was the one that originally came out to give me an estimate on cost to replace my 2 AC/ Heat systems. Very personable and honest young man. Scheduled the work within a couple days of accepting their estimate. The workers came on time and finished the entire job the same day by mid afternoon. Hopefully everything will work as it should. Very pleased with Cody stopping by while his workers were installing system and answering any questions I had.

Matthew was AMAZING! Our AC stopped working after hours on one of the hottest days this week. I had them install a new unit a year ago (great job Steve and crew) and Cody has been my technician for scheduled maintenance since then. This is the second time I have used them, and I would use them again if needed. They are very responsive and they sent somebody out to my house the same day I talked to them. Nixa called me when she was on her way, troubleshot it in about three minutes, went to the truck, got the part, and installed it. Steve from Desert Diamond came out to measure for a new A/C unit. He was friendly and professional. The reason I am leaving a 3 is because he added about an extra $400 to the initial quote. While its not much compared to the $13,000 unit I am having put in, it still makes me leery of signing a contract with DDM. The contract clearly states that I am liable for any and all necessary and unforeseen costs needed to complete the install. If they are going to add $400 here and $400 dollars there, who knows how much I will end up paying in the end. I am still on the fence about hiring them and am looking into other companies.

Matthew was on time, professional, detailed in his explanations and very very good at cleaning up after himself. I will definitely hire this company again.

AMAZING AS ALWAYS!!!! I can’t believe they got here so quick today! I’ve had them do everything from repairing my old AC to buying a new one to maintenance and repairs… they have ALWAYS taken such good care of me! They are really inexpensive compared to competitors! From the estimate, to the follow-up inspection, Desert Diamond has been an excellent company to work with. The open information about the process, costs, hardware, and how it all affects my home was excellent. Of the 4 estimates I received, they were the only team that did a full inspection of my whole system prior to letting me know what the costs and requirements would be. Nixa was a BADASS. She deserves all the freaking bonuses. I have Dysautonomia, im heat intollerant. So i really got scared that my AC wasnt working. Nixa came out and fixed everything in less than an hour.

I told the operator i had some health concerns, Nixa came prepared with a mask before entering my home. Which was so appreciated. She was kind, relatable and extremely professional.

If i wasnt broke i would have signed up for the membership, but alas the repair cleaned out my savings.

We called Desert Diamond Heating and A/C after I found some ductwork in my attic space that was not connected. We were given a time for the same afternoon. Trey and Jimmy arrived on time, called and gave us a heads up, after explaining my issue, with photos they up in the attic and spent about 15 minutes while moving around the entire attic. They came down with good news, they said that the disconnected section was part of an old run that was replaced but left in the attic. They also found a damaged but still connected section that would reduce airflow. This was a free inspection and gives us good info to decide on what we want to do with our ductwork, seal or replace, and maybe some insulation also.

7/15/22. We called Desert Diamond today for an issue with the a/c drain line being plugged. Brian showed up within 2 hours, cleaned the drain and added a condensation switch with directions for up keep.

Sales and prep were great and Steve was professional. The installation crew were prompt and polite. The lead seemed to know what he was doing not so much for his helper, some of the install problems were caused by lack of planning. I suspect that some work that was done was not in workmanship manner or met industry standards or code.. I am going to call Steve and get his opinion..

As usual Steve was on time and did a great job addressing the problem. Steve is does an excellent job. The company has always kept their attention to completing their promises.

I will be giving Desert Diamond my business for my rental properties because of the experience with the office team and a technician named Jeff. I had 2 other companies come out and give an estimate to replace leaking indoor coils after it was discovered from a tune-up in 2017 and 2018 because the company said the system would be okay through the summer. They wanted to charge me $2300 for each coil replacement. I contacted this company based on the reviews and Jeff took the initial call to check the system and I was able to meet him at the home. He indicated to me that the pressure was good in the lines and did not suspect coil leak but would not know until he could pull the panel off where the indoor coils are at and explained to me that would have to be on the next call to perform a 1.5 hour cleaning and inspection of the indoor coils. This week Jeff came back to provide the service, promptly started his work and came back down in 15 minutes to show me pictures of my indoor coils which were in excellent condition and very clean and he saw no indications of leaks. He continued with completing a tune-up of the system because the indoor coil cleaning was around a $700 job if I recall correctly. Jeff told me that honestly he could not charge me the $700 because the owner expects them to be honest and honest with the customers about the condition of their systems and since nothing was wrong he did not charge me for his time. He spent about 1 hour of his time and answered additional questions for me and my wife about our split system. Jeff is professional, explains and communicates well and more than anything has represented his company with integrity in my opinion. Service and integrity still matter.

I hope the owners read and recognize Jeff and the office team. I will refer and recommend Desert Diamond. What a great experience that exceeded my expectations.

Tip of the hat to Cody. His knowledge has helped redesign a ducting problem created with a recent remodel. While the work is not yet complete, the thoroughness of his planning will definitely make the tech's execution easy. You need to clone another dozen of Cody and Ryan.

Steve S. took extra time and care to identify what was needed to eliminate dust issues, uneven heating and cooling in the house, and air quality concerns. They explained everything they were doing, made sure that my furniture was protected from any resulting dust and residue from the duct work, and did a meticulous job of cleaning up when finished. A week after installation I had questions about the air scrubber that was installed and Steve has been just as helpful and responsive as he was before the sale was made. June 2020 UPDATE: Mario performed the summer service and he was on time and did a very thorough job. He cleaned my Clean Effects filter even though it was only partially dirty...very pro-active. I continue to be satisfied with the system and with Desert Diamond Mechanical.

I am so greatfull to the company for their professional and speedy service. It has been 3 time prior for checking and repairing our unit. It was old and again I called and they were there same day. This time the unit needs replacing. They also made that affordable and quick to replace. I love this company and their professional technicians. They deserve a big pat on the back for great service!

Great experience all around with Desert Diamond. We were looking to replace our two units at our home and called four different companies in the valley for quotes. In the end we chose Desert Diamond due to Steve Schilling. Steve did a great job identifying what options would work best for our home and walking us through the details of each option. The installation crews were efficient, professional and kept a clean work environment. Desert Diamond provides high quality at a fair value and I would recommend giving them a call for your cooling and heating needs.

I called Desert Diamond around 8PM on a Friday night because my air was running but the air blowing was not cold. The customer service representative was very nice and assured me that a tech would call me soon. Within 5 minutes, a tech named Jeff called me and he was literally at our house within 10 minutes. It is so nice to deal with a company so family oriented. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful. I had occasion to speak to Kira, Melany and Crystal each were very helpful and got results.

It’s Sunday 10:00 at night and our hvac system isn’t cooling. We got on the phone with desert diamond air and a tech gave us a call at 10:10pm says he’ll be there in 20mins. 10:30pm he gives me a call to let us know he arrived. Fixes the problem and is out the door at 10:55pm. I’ve not ever experienced professional, fast, easy and reliable service with any other air company in Arizona like we did tonight from DDA.

He also shared some recommendations on air filters and how to clean my A/C units between servicing. I was very happy overall with my service and will use them again!

I want everybody in the Arizona valley to know that this company took care of me in a time of need during the summer and my AC went out. I originally contacted chas roberts due to the home builders using them and telling to use them for all my AC needs. We’ll the AC went out after living there over a year and chas roberts proceeds to tell me that I’m a priority customer due to paying there maintenance package. We’ll they told me great news that I could be seen in about 5 to 6 days in the summer without AC. Wow thanks chas roberts. What a joke. Desert Diamond was then contacted from the Yelp and google reviews. They never gave a timeframe on the initial call but did say that someone would be calling today. About 10 minutes later our AC dude Ivan called and stated he could be here in a few hours. Ivan showed up in a few hours and was ready to work, got to the root of the problem and fixed our AC. I have 3 young kids and the convenience that Desert Diamond AC company gave us was great. Pricing was as expected nothing to crazy. Thank you again and I will remember how you took care of us.

My AC stopped cooling my place constantly I searched online for AC repair. I called Desert Diamond and they were able to come out same day which was great. The tech, Mario, was nice to work with, but I'm questioning his abilities now. I spent over 1k for parts, that cost about $100 (discovered this after the visit). I understand there is labor involved, but there clearly is too much overhead that their labor would be over $300/hour or they are ripping people off. My AC worked for less than 6 hours after Mario left and now it doesn't work at all, it's worse than before. I contacted Desert Diamond hoping they could send someone tonight but they can't. I'll update this review tomorrow pending additional service.

Update: They came out the following day, and corrected the problem, which was another part that needed to be installed. Unfortunately they didn't catch this the first time, which could have been the problem all along.

I never get extended warranties or maintenance contracts on anything. Because of being gone for the summer along with a 10 year old heat pump unit, I decided to get the maintenance agreement a few years ago and I'm glad I did. Every 6 months something is found that prevented a potential problem. Ivan came yesterday and I can't say enough positive things about him. He was punctual, friendly and most importantly very experienced and knowledgeable! I'm very impressed with Desert Diamond.

During the summer and a week of over 100 degree temps our AC went out, the blower motor to be exact. We were referred to Desert Diamond after waiting for another company that our warranty company had contracted. We were so disappointed with the delays and customer service from the other company that we called and opted to pay out of pocket with Desert Diamond. The part we needed had to be ordered but Mario took care of us and installed a temporary blower motor to get us through the weekend and until he got the right part. While this was a expensive repair the service was impeccable and I was happy to give our money to this business instead of letting our warranty company pay the other business at zero cost to us. Hopefully we don't have any AC issues again but if we do we are calling Mario at Desert Diamond Mechanical.

We were very impressed upon our first meeting with Jeff, who spent a great deal of time explaining the different units available. Scheduling was easy and when David and his crew arrived for the installation, they continued the great service. We had a difficult installation due to our crazy attic access, but no one complained! David thoroughly explained our new thermostats and how to use the app. When they finished, everything was cleaned and there was no trace that they had worked in our attic for 12 hours! Thank you to everyone for a wonderful experience when it could have been a complete headache!

I cannot say enough about my experience with Desert Diamond. I got a referral for another company for HVAC from my neighborhood website. While looking for that one on line, I came across Desert Diamond and saw what amazing ratings they received. Jeff came out possibly that same day and he is such an amazing person. He does the consultations but I don't think he is a salesperson. He left me feeling like his was the bid to beat. His bid was one of the lowest, and he offered 18 months free financing and get this.....our outside unit was broken so he replaced it with one from the shop until ours could get replaced! At no added expense. It took him hours to do that so we could be comfortable while waiting for our install. I would highly recommend. I tend to get bad service everywhere I go and I feel blessed by finding Desert Diamond by mistake and by having Jeff sent out to help. I would use again tomorrow, but here's hoping my other AC unit lasts a little longer!

Mario came out same day to repair my AC after a blackout/power surge. He was quick, thorough, extremely knowledgeable and got me up and running with no problems at all. The prices were very competitive and I highly recommend them.

I had an emergency call after hours for a leaking AC. The dispatch service was awesome, got me on the schedule right away for that night. Jeff, the service tech, called immediately after we hung up with dispatch and said he’d be over in 15 minutes. Thank goodness!! He was very professional and helpful. Explained what happened to the unit and gave me a very reasonable quote. Jeff fixed the unit up right away and sent me everything via email for my records. The A/C gas pack unit died at the most inopportune time. I needed to replace the unit, having to search multiple companies at the end of the year during  the holiday season was a challenge until I called Desert Diamond Mechanical. Cody there technician came out gave a clear overview of the different units they handled and the cost of the insulation without any high pressure sales, answering all my questions.  The price range was also reasonable. Then I checked with the BBB and was satisfied enough to have them do the install.
Desert Diamond was very flexible in scheduling a install date.  Ben/Jay did the install, they arrived on time and had the new unit fully installed on the roof in a few hours. Ben also took the time to explain how to operate the programmable digital thermostat. Very helpful!

Jeff, our tech, came earlier than the window the dispatcher had given me, which was wonderful! I loved that he was wearing a medical-grade face mask when he arrived, as we have not been around anyone other than family during this Pandemic. Jeff was kind, professional, thorough, explained everything to me so that I easily understood the problem. Not only did he dissect the issue, he had the solution (a new motor for our AC unit) in his truck, so he was able to stay and put in the new motor. With temps over 100 degrees, this was HUGE to be able to know that we'd have our AC up and running by the time he left. He was honest and trustworthy, a great guy! We'd never used this company before, and from the first phone call with the sweet and helpful woman that answered the phone to Jeff's prompt and courteous professionalism, it was a very positive experience! Desert Diamond Mechanical recently visited my home on an emergency visit. Our technician Ryan, was professional, friendly and a joy to work with. They responded within an hour of our after hours emergency visit request. We had been waiting weeks for a call back from another company to perform a tune-up and energy audit. Then, inevitably, we had an A/C system failure. Not only did Ryan get my systems back up quickly and effectively, but he discussed the importance of regular maintenance. The most I had ever really done was washed off the A/C coils.

After reading other reviews, I decided to sign up right then and there for Desert Diamonds maintenance program. Given the high quality work I received during off-hours. I'm looking forward to working with this company more. Received quotes from 3 local firms. Desert wasn’t the cheapest, but their product (Trane XV18) best met our needs. From home visit to prep the quote, to heating and air conditioning installation, Andrew, the office staff, and installers were professional and courteous. Desert was the only firm to mention the APS rebate and were the only firm to mention attic insulation and replacement of the ceiling air return grate in the hallway ceiling to improve efficiency. They also responded quickly to a system sound that was unfamiliar to us with the new system (the old system we had was an 18 year old Lennox). Like the phone app that comes with Trane. Only thing I wish we had an option to enhance is the thermostat in the hallway. It’s super small compared to other thermostats we’ve had. It’s an age thing. Not a Trane quality thing. Would not hesitate to recommend Desert Diamond.

My overall experience with Desert Diamond was excellent. The office staff is friendly and helpful. Prior to purchase, Jeff a technician came to my home and discussed my wants and needs for a new air conditioning system. He was very informative, patient, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. I did inform him I was getting several quotes. I chose Desert Diamond to install my ac/ furnace system. I was very impressed with the installation crew. They paid great attention to detail. Ben the lead man on this 3 man install crew was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He answered all my questions and explained things to me in a very understandable way. The other two men, Wade and Austin were also professional to the point that every time they walked into my house they would cover their work boots with slip on booties. The install and clean up was very good. The real test will come when I begin to use my new ac system this summer

My old unit died out in the middle of Summer and Steve came out on a Sunday to help get me set up for an install of a new unit, he went the extra mile to bring out a portable unit the same day to make sure I was comfortable until the new unit was installed.

The new Trane variable speed unit is outstanding and cools my house consistently throughout the day and is completely silent. I highly recommend going for a variable speed unit, it's worth the extra money for how it keeps the home cool in every room without having the noise of the AC constantly turning on and off.

When Ernesto came to our home for the initial consultation, he exhibited the utmost professionalism in evaluating our home comfort needs, and in discussing his suggestions for replacement units. He treated us (and our home) respectfully, and answered all of our questions in a direct, honest manner. When it came time to discuss pricing, Ernesto provided a few quotes for us to consider. At no time did we ever feel like he was putting us through a sales pitch. We never felt one ounce of pressure from Ernesto, and we truly appreciate his way of conducting business. It made all the difference in our decision to go with Desert Diamond.

Prior to meeting with Ernesto, we received a quote from another large, heating/cooling company. There was a world of difference in how their sales representative treated us. Unlike Ernesto, their representative put us through a series of obvious sales pitches, meant to pressure us (through guilt) into making a decision at that moment. It took a couple weeks to get the appointment so they must be busy, but once Mario came out they were professional and he knew exactly what to do and where to go to service my unit. He said it was functioning fine, was upgraded to 410a in 2014 and pressured and temps were OK. I bought the year plan which gets me another inspection within one year.

We called as soon as our air broke and Brandon came out within an hour! He was professional and explained everything really well. Would use them again

Ryan got here a little earlier than scheduled and was able to get our 13 year old AC unit up and running. We have been in this house two years and we were not aware that AC units do not last as long in AZ as in other states. He was very professional and also a nice guy. He explained everything and also emailed me several options to replace our old system. No one wants to hear that they need to replace their system, but you can’t be without it in AZ. We will be replacing ours within the next few weeks. We are very happy to have our AC working again. The response time was only a few hours from the phone call to the office to having AC again. Amazing service from these guys. From the sales guy Jeff, who came right away, didn't haggle and gave me my options, to the installers Ben and Wade who were friendly and worked hard to get it done quickly, also Cody who came on a Sunday (!!) to troubleshoot issues and ultimately fix them, I wholeheartedly recommend going with these guys. Incredible service, fair prices, and employees that really go above and beyond to make your day more enjoyable and your home cooler as soon as possible. As the temps hit triple digits, I began thinking about getting an AC Tune up. The only question was who to use. I had received multiple fliers from various companies in the valley. Both of my neighbors had recently used Desert Diamond and had great things to say. I figured between the positive reviews, and the great price, why not give them a shot. I called and spoke to a friendly young lady who scheduled me for the next available time slot. I let her know that I had plans that afternoon, so if we could move it earlier I would appreciate it. She assured me that if possible, the tech Jason would call me. Sure enough, I received a call almost 3 hours early. Jason let me know he would be there in 30 minutes. EXACTLY 30 minutes later he pulled up. I can’t remember the last time a company was that punctual. Jason was incredibly kind and friendly. It is always nerve-wracking inviting someone into your home. However, he was incredibly clean and even wore the shoe covers (Sorry, not sure what the technical term is).

What impressed me most of all was what took place next. In my past AC experiences, the tech tells me what I need (supposedly) and I pray my wallet can afford it. It almost feels like a car mechanic and I always wondered “Is he BS-ing me right now”. However with Jason, he provided a comprehensive review of everything he inspected, showing me pictures of the readings and how they compare using industry diagrams. There was no car salesman up-selling. Simply a real conversation between the subject expert and a homeowner. For every recommendation he had, he provided a detailed explanation of why and when the work should be done. Living in a city with an “expert AC company on every corner”, it’s nice to know I finally found a company that I can build a relationship with. I strongly recommend you save yourself the time and money and avoid the other yahoos out there. Desert Diamond is the way to go.

Such great service! Steve came out to our house to replace both our rooftop package units. Steve was very thorough, he surveyed the duct work in the attic as well as the units configuration on the roof. I had multiple quotes for the replacement of our units and Desert Diamond beat everyone. No other contractor took the time to evaluate our home and explain our options like Steve did. By the time we made the decision to use Desert Diamond, I was confident I made the right choice. Thanks to Steve! Matthew was very professional and explained everything he was doing. He was early to the appointment and wore a face mask and shoe coverings which was great because I have 3 young kids at home. He was quick and got our AC working great. I would definitely recommend Matthew for any future service!

My landlord decided to have a new unit installed. It was a process but the Technician’s were good about getting the job done in a timely manner. We had a few hiccups with the new unit leaking and not cooling but my guy Mario saved the day! He’s the best employee DDM has! Professional, listened to my concerns and actually fixed the issues as opposed to Ryan who was too busy to listen and more worried about answering his phone! These guys hustle and we should all be so thankful for the hard work they do. Thanks again Mario for saving us from the heat!

This post is from Ed Forrester for Mario Valencia. AC system installed in summer of 2018, and kept house cool. In 2019, unit wasn't keeping house as cool but tech confirmed AC was performing within specification. Summer of 2020 Mario likewise confirmed that compressor and evaporator were all performing within specification but observed AC wasn't keeping house cool. He then went into attic, over 110 degrees outside, and determined that insulation needed upgrading and suggested other areas where heat load could be reduced. Three days later I asked to speak with Mario and told him why I suspected duct work was leaking. He then arranged with his supervision to come back to the house, that day, to verify my observation. Mario went back into attic and determined duct work had indeed separated. Throughout this whole ordeal, Mario was a true professional. He didn't ignore my story that the unit worked fine summer of 2018 and he worked diligently to find out why it wasn't working correctly now. Mario went the extra mile for my problem and I consider myself fortunate that he was assigned to our job. I also want to compliment the scheduling staff...they were extra helpful during this situation as well. Thank you Mario.

Tried to postpone the inevitable AC replacement we knew was coming. Must of had Cody come to the house at least 4 or 5 times. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! So patient and knowledgeable. Eventually ended up replacing our unit with Desert Diamond as well. The installation crew was fantastic!! On time, clean, polite and actually looked like they were having fun! So pleased with the entire process from beginning to end. Couldn't ask for anything better!! Would recommend to anyone!!

The AC at my parents house stoped working this morning.So I did a little research and found Desert Diamond. They had great reviews compared to Bob Brown Heating and Cooling, which my parents had used for yrs. Called around 8am and they were able to have someone come out same day. The tech, Dontre arrived almost an hour before scheduled earliest time which was great! He was very friendly and promptly diagnosed the problem. He was able to replace the fan motor and check all components to ensure the unit would be up and running. The AC is now running great and blowing ice cold! The unit is quite old and will need to be replaced so Dontre gave several estimates for new units. Will definitely be using them for all future repairs, maintenance and eventual replacement!

We so very appreciate this company’s quick response and great customer service . But we really are blown away by RYAN the Technician who was called out to us. Very knowledgeable , helpful, informative , and friendly . I really can’t say enough about him. My husband and I had the worst experience last summer with a company called Air Standards . When Ryan got on our roof their was sparks flying off the unit ! Needless to say this company had installed some new parts incorrectly and set us up to fail and burn . So Ryan’s honesty is truly appreciated . That’s all we ask for , especially when it comes to keeping our houses cool for the summer. We appreciate him not taking advantage of the situation . It’s a no wonder this company has great ratings. Desert Diamond all the way !

I called Desert Diamond to get a quote on a new air conditioner. Cody was the technician that came out. I was very impressed with Cody- he was very professional and very knowledgeable. I know I would be in good hands with this company. He didn’t try to up sell me on products or tell me to buy the most expensive unit. I would definitely recommend this company even though I have not used them as of yet.

If this review were strictly about the staff at Desert Mechanical, it would be a five star review, as they are very prompt in answering my calls, show up in a timely manner, and are very kind.

However, the low star review stems from my poor experience with a BRAND NEW unit. Long story short, our very old AC unit went out, we paid an arm and a leg for a new unit, and not even two months have gone by and the unit has broke twice. Each time, a “bypass” was put into place because the actual problem could not be found. It would keep the house cool, which is nice, but the unit was constantly running. When I mentioned this on the phone to a tech, they brushed me off and said the unit should click off after reaching temp but it NEVER did. For the first two months with our brand new unit, what should have lowered our electricity bill actually made it triple, yes triple. I was shocked and bummed. Not only was a paying down a new unit but now I was paying an insanely high electric bill (not to mention I have solar). I called someone back out, and turns out the unit was installed WRONG from the very beginning!! What should have been caught in the beginning dragged on and essentially our compressor was never turning off, hence the high electric bill….

I love the unit now, it turns off like it should, but I’m disappointed. Some compensation for the high electric bills would be ideal, seeing as the unit (that was very expensive) was not installed properly and we had to deal with it breaking down for two months in the hottest part of summer. I doubt there is anyway to be compensated but it is wishful thinking.

Again, the staff and techs were always friendly and responsive, but the rest just seemed crazy; being told multiple times “we are just really unlucky” is no way to make APS lower our bill. :(

After my rant, would I go with them again? Absolutely. There are many aspects of the company that beat out other companies I researched and maybe we are just unlucky.

Good price, same-day timely service, very professional and easy

This company and its employees were AWESOME from the get-go. Jeff, the sales rep, was extremely professional and spent a long time reviewing different options with us. He even put on booties when entering the house. He was clean and dressed with a company shirt. We were shopping for a new a/c, but did not plan on having it installed until cooler weather in the Fall. Jeff recommended minor things that would make our new a/c function to its full capacity.

Unfortunately, our a/c died a few weeks after our research. Desert Diamond was able to scheduled our new installation the following day. They are a 24/7 business.

The 3 installers encouraged our questions and covered everything in the utility room, where they had to access the attic. They totally cleaned up the yard, garage, and utility room. David, the lead installer, was patient in educating us with the new thermostat and answered all of our questions. After a long tiring very hot day, he was patient and in no hurry to get on the road until he was sure that we were content, satisfied, and had all of our questions answered.

We were extremely pleased with our installation crew: David, Russell, & Andrew. All 3 of the employees were respectful and hard workers.

Jeff will pay us a follow-up visit to check on our satisfaction and to inspect the job.

We decided to have them Aeroseal our ducts. It was completed quickly and easily. They covered everything in plastic and even vacuumed when finished. Doesn't get any better than that.

Our new a/c purrs like a kitten. We are even able to set the thermostat at a higher temp and be completely comfortable all the time. We can't even tell when it is on. It's the best.

Don't bother with the rest, go with the best - Desert Diamond Mechanical.

Reservation process was simple and scheduled Ryan to come out and service/inspect the old system in the home we just purchased. He arrived on time and was very professional throughout his visit. he explained options and recommendations to continue using our old system and provided recommendations and quotes for us to make an educated decision on whether or not to get a new unit.

Apr. 22, 2019... just had Steve come back for an annual service call...great to have him do a thorough inspection and cleaning. Everything checked out.
March 7, 2018... had a 15 year old AC/Heating system that has now been replaced by Desert Diamond Mechanical. With some good diagnosis / service previously from Steve S we got about 3 ½ extra years out of the old unit, but now it was time to replace the system. Steve was great to deal with... very personable, knowledgeable and pragmatic. No upselling on something we didn’t need. The installers, David and Frank were also very professional and personable. No one looks forward to having to replace their AC/Heating system, but Steve and the crew at Desert Diamond made the experience a positive one.

Steve was the “Consultant” that came to the house to see my old system, help determine the proper size and configuration along with providing recommendations and answering all of my questions. Steve appears very, very knowledgeable and came across as a “straight shooter”. I like him! This was the first of 6 companies that I have scheduled to come to the house to sell me a new air conditioning system. My old system is 22 years old so I decided this is the year to replace it. I won’t choose which company to use until I’ve talked to each. I can tell you right now I’m impressed so far. I’ll update the review after I choose the system/company and the installation is complete.

David was my installer and he did a fantastic job! He’s very meticulous and thorough in his work. My older condo has a very tight space for the air handler and he handled it like a champ. He was just as meticulous about clean up when he was finished. Well done!

Had a bit of an emergency tonight with our AC unit and it was going to be a hot weekend. Had great service over the phone and then Jeff the technician came out and was courteous professional and took care of the problem. A few days later, our unit starting making really horrible sounds. Called DDM and they were at our home within the hour. Our motor was overheating and on its way out. Our Tech Steve cooled off our fan, so that we could use the unit for the evening. The new motor was installed by 10 am the next day. We bought a maintenance plan because we are so impressed. I highly recommend Desert Diamond! Thank you!

Cody at Desert Diamond Air was fantastic. My air conditioner in the house was on and off making a noise and then it stop completely and I could smell burnt rubber. I turned it off and thought now what am I to do. It was 9:30 in the evening. I google air conditioning companies and theirs came up at the top open 24 hours. I called and he came within and hour and fix my air. I am so grateful for his service. Thank You and I do recommend them.

Highly recommend this company. Our AC died and I remember getting a coupon in the mail from this company so I gave them a call. They were able to get to my house the same day. Steve was fantastic. He spent 4 hours that night at our house during his time off to discuss our options. Not to mention he communicated with me the entire day and was on time. I have used DDM for several years now and have been very pleased with the service and knowledgeable techs. Jeff has serviced our AC/heater over the last year or so. He has amazing knowledge regarding air conditioning and heating. Two other companies came to service our high efficiency unit but could not work on it as they were completely unfamiliar with it. One of the two actually informed me that I should contact another company, one that knows something about this system. Desert Diamond has always been professional, courteous and honest. I wold recommend them to anyone who needed AC service.

I had 4 other companies come out and give me a quote to install a new A/C unit. I chose Desert Diamond for a couple different reasons. But the main reason I chose them was Cody. Cody came out to give us the quote, I did not tell him or any of the others what type of business I am in. I wanted to see if any of them would BS me. 4 of them not only lied to me, but tried to upsell me things I would either never use or was not really necessary for my situation. Cody did not. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that !! 2nd. The install crew came out and were right on time, and went straight to work. We just had Rocky come out and perform an annual tune-up on our Trane unit, that Desert Diamond Mechanical installed in July of 2016. Rocky did a very thorough job and gave me an idea and estimate on how to get our unit to cool one room in our house more efficiently. All of our interactions with Desert Diamond have been excellent as they explain what they are doing and what may need to be done. I appreciate the fact that they give the customer a chance to ask questions. So far we have had Rocky, Steve, and Cody for technicians and they have all been excellent!

Called Desert Diamond for an estimate for repairs as my A/C started acting up. Very impressed with the response time and service tech!! He was on time and good to work with. However, the estimate came out to be much higher than expected so I opted to get a second opinion. I'm so glad I did! It turns out that the parts Desert Diamond quoted me for, while they will be necessary to replace in the future, we're not all necessary replacements to get the unit back up and running right now. (which is really all I wanted) Saved myself about $800 by going with a different company. I wish Desert Diamond had been more transparent about the true state of my system and what was needed. Now it seems like they were just trying to take advantage of the situation.

Office staff were always pleasant and helpful when I spoke to them on the phone. There was a small mishap during the install and they were super fast to correct the issue. As first time homeowners, we were in a panic when our AC stopped working at 10pm in the middle of a Phoenix summer. We called Desert Diamond that same night and were greeted by prompt customer service from the dispatcher. They sent out JD first thing in the morning at 7am and he quickly diagnosed what was luckily just a clogged condensate line. He was informative throughout the process, educated us on preventative maintenance, and was kind with our dog that is timid of strangers in the home. I just wanted to share that I had Ryan at my property a couple days ago to help me with a broken A/C unit and he did a fantastic job. Desert Diamond Mechanical was fast and friendly service from Crystal in the office to Trey the service technician that came same day service for us on a super hot & humid day where my elderly, dissabled Mother, my daughter and I along with our two pit bulls were suffering terribly in only a matter of a few hours and I was scared if Trey hadn't come to our rescue when he did we would have had to evacuate and go to a hotel so we are grateful for the fast service and will definitely use them again!

I can not tell you effectively how much this company means to me because of Steve Schilling. Steve is old school customer service oriented, very honest and goes above and beyond to serve. I had an old unit that Steve was able to salvage for 3 years before my recent experience which I needed to replace the unit. Steve didn’t try to oversell me, he was very upfront and worked with me while I came up with the full payment. I gave my word to Steve and he trusted me without question. My unit was installed, I also added in some insulation which is heaven and I can’t thank Desert Diamond enough for employing such wonderful people like Steve and my installers. So our A/C went out on a Wednesday evening. A repair person was at our house that night - worked until 1am getting our service back up and running. In a few days they came back and replaced our whole AC system. Ran into a thermostat issue which they quickly resolved. Professional. Efficient. Professional to work with. Will use again in the future.

Mario was incredibly professional and easy to talk to. He explained everything to me in great detail and did not try to sell me anything for my home that was not a necessity. He was honest and came out to my home after I called in the middle of the night with cooling issues. I have a toddler and a 4 week old baby, so I greatly appreciate the prompt response and help. We recently sold our home and needed some AC repairs completed. We called Desert diamond and Steve and Cody came out in a timely manner and made the repairs that were listed from our home inspection. They were very professional and they charged us a fair price for the service. We would highly recommend Desert Diamond and will be using them again in the future.

I needed an A/C repair and my technician, Nixa, was totally responsive, understood what was needed and took care of my problem no matter how hot the attic was or how long it took. She took pride in her work and did it well. I was awed how well everything went and how she was concerned on how she did her job. I wish more companies had employees like her.

AC broke on Tuesday, they came that night. Needed to replace the entire unit. No interest financing and very affordable option with a great warranty. By Thursday I had a brand new ac unit. They were expedient, professional and respectful. This was a great service. Matt was our serviceman and he got things done quickly and perfectly. I bought a new gas pack from Desert Diamond two years ago and got the tuneup plan with it, and also included that plan with another unit.
Nixa is an excellent technician, takes her time to carefully inspect the units, and fully explains the work she did and points out problems that are beginning to occur on my older unit. Today she brought an assistant, Daniel, who was just as courteous and helpful as Nixa. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing their services.

This company is top notch. I took a chance after seeing their coupon in the Valpak, and definitely did not regret my decision to use them. When my AC broke they came the next day to fix the issue, unfortunately for me I got another leak a week later. One of their techs came out to assess the situation, and see what was happening and to check if the fix was still under warranty. It wasn't, but he was very honest about the options and gave me the best deal possible. They never tried to force the sale on me, or make me purchase something I didn't need. And when I did decide to purchase a new unit with them, they were nice enough put my original payment towards the purchase of the new unit to try and save me some money. They perform quality work, in a timely manner, and they clearly care about satisfying their customers. I highly recommend Desert Diamond if you have any AC issues.

Desert Diamond responded to our urgent call when our AC unit stopped working. It was late at night and their dispatch was full for the night. They offered to contact me first thing in the morning and at 5:45 AM I received a call from Cody (Mgr.) informing me that to tell me he was on his way with a 30-minute ETA. I verbally explained the issue and Cody quickly provided me with an assessment of what he believed was going to be the issue and what the cost to repair may be. He pointed out and complemented some of the work that was done at the AC unit unbeknownst to him by another HVAC provider. He had the AC up and running in less than 30 minutes. Jeff came at the agreed time. Very informative of the work he did. Professional in what he did. I told him the last HVAC company recommended a surge protector and asked him about it. He was frank and said I didn’t need it because my system does not have a circuit board to protect. That’s how old my Ac unit is I guess. But a dishonest tech would have agreed with that looking for more business. That goes a long way for me. Lastly He also emailed me a 2 year plan as an option if I was up for it. No sales pressure. Just whenever.

I had my a/c tune up. Cody, the technician called to let me know that he was on his way and arrived on time. He was very polite, courteous, and above all knowledgeable about the product he was servicing. He also gave us recommendations for our a/c unit. The staff and the owner, Carlo, were also very helpful when I talked to them about heat strips. Overall, five stars for great customer support and service.

Mario is here now at 9:30 at night replacing the blower motor. I decided to purchase a new ac unit because of the age of my current unit. Mario explained all the options and presented everything straight forward. Nice guy, and seems very honest. I will follow up when my new AC is installed. Thanks Desert Diamond.

We had a great experience in buying the Air Conditioner. Rocky was extremely helpful in selecting which of the Trane models we wanted and followed up along the way from installation to completion of the project. The installation crew were excellent and communicated with us during the process. They even cleaned up after themselves. Again, we had a great experience!!!

Steve was very knowledgeable and super friendly. He reviewed our options in regards to increasing our home’s energy efficiency and clearly communicated answers to our questions. We will definitely use this company (and Steve) to help us in the future.

Robert was very professional and ready to answer any questions I had. I knew my unit was 12 years old and wore out. Robert was very honest about cost of repair vs.replace. I chose replace and could not be happier with replacement. The install guys were right on time and performed their job very efficiently. They went above and beyond with the cleaning on the way out of the installation.

Our AC went out on a Friday night. We waited until morning to call our usual company but they didn't have any availability until Tuesday. They suggested I try Google to get someone out sooner. SO happy they did. I called Desert Diamond at 8:52am and Ernesto was at our house about an hour later. He diagnosed the problem in a matter of minutes and was out the door about 30 minutes after his arrival. He was very professional and friendly. Very fair price. He recommended a tune up and we will definitely contact Desert Diamond for that service, as well. Thank you for saving us from misery!

Made the appointment for an AC tune up with Melanie in the office who was totally professional and knowledgeable and set up my appointment and told me pretty much exactly what Cody would need to do to make my AC cool better. My AC was working fine, but some rooms were always freezing while others were warm. Cody, the AC tech, showed up and was super polite, but not BS polite; it was obvious he was sincerely a nice guy who took pride in his work. The first thing I noticed when he came inside was that he put on disposable booties over his work boots, which was really something I appreciated, especially since the other (big name) guys didn't show our house the same respect last time we had this done a couple of years ago. Anyway, the rest of the visit was completely on par with that level of professionalism, and the AC system did work noticeably better after Cody's visit, and he even changed our filters, which he totally didn't have to do. Bottom line, this is who we'll use in the future, as well as who I'd recommend if asked if I knew an AC guy I trusted.

AC went on the fritz and my warranty company was no help. So I googled emergency AC repair and Desert Diamond Mechanical Heating and AC came up. Called them and they were able to come out same day. JD was the technician and he was so polite and professional. Got my AC working again in no time flat. I will keep them on sped dial going forward. You should too!

I cannot say enough about these guys! My ac broke and I asked fb for recommendations. A friend reached out to me and said I have a guy named Frank. I hit up Frank after receiving a few quotes that my mother and I didn't like. Frank had Cody show up the very next morning and Cody was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. He listened to what we had felt was the problem, looked at my house, went in the attick and gave us the quote itemized for my mom with 4 different units to choose from. He then spent time on the phone with my mom to address any questions and concerns she might have because she's very difficult and had millions of questions. He did that tho and it helped my mom be at ease making her decision. Once we decided to go with these guys Cody was back at my place first thing the next morning measuring everything in the attick and on top of roof. And then finally Saturday morning boom, the install crew arrived. David, Aslam, and Riley showed up early Saturday morning and they were super professional, extremely nice, and man they got everything done we asked in what seemed like record time. I cannot think these guys enough this company Frank all the way down to the bottom it has been a top-notch first class experience and I am very appreciative for everything they've done.if you are in need of an air conditioning unit service or anything to do with heating and cooling I highly recommend you call these guys they are fair their honest and are very hard-working.

I contacted Desert Diamond for an estimate on a new unit. The company sent Steve to my home who inspected my unit and gave me an estimate. After calling several companies and getting many estimates, Steve matched the price of another company, and I was very pleased with his professionalism.

The company sent out Ben and Frank to install the new unit. Both gentlemen were professional and installed the new unit in a timely manner. They also did a great job of cleaning up after the install.
