Best The Air Conditioning System in Phoenix AZ

We have used APES several times for work around all three of our properties. Barrett has come a few times and like all APES techs he is friendly and helpful upfront about time and costs. Makes the need for plumbing work a bit more enjoyable

Mike was dispatched quickly and when he arrived he was very clean cut and friendly and was able to give me confidence in his expertise. He troubleshot the problem and was able to locate a part within the state. he made arrangements for it to be shipped. he arrived the next day and installed the part quickly and had us running again. Mike was extremely professional and polite and I would request him again and recommend him to everybody else

Short version: The company is expensive, has very poor communication, doesn't do what they say they are going to do and are technically incompetent.Long version:Went with Penguin originally because of the seemingly good reviews that they had on Google. We had been having issues with our AC for a couple months and were willing to pay the extra money to go with a reputable company so that we could end the nightmare. Unfortunately, it was really only the beginning. The day the AC was installed we could not get the temperature below 85 degrees. Whoever I talked to would try and tell me that the new systems were not as good as the old R22 systems and that the tech had confirmed before they left everything was working as intended. That didn't seem likely so I asked to have someone else come out.The next individual came and did nothing as they seem to have multiple different departments in AC (warranty, install, tech - not really sure) who all have a variety of excuses as to why they are not the right person to assist and will pass the problem off to the next person.The next guy came out and said that the refrigerant was low and filled it up and apologized. I was cautiously optimistic that would help but it did not.The next guy came out and said that the ducts were not properly sealed and he had put tape on the outside to fix it. I asked, incredulously, whether tape was going to be the final fix for the leak and he said it was rated for 25 years and would be fine. I found this a little suspicious but said okay.The next morning I went into my attic to blow insulation to try and do anything I could to cool my house down from the 110+ degree heat and found the attic was probably more comfortable than my house. So...The next guy came out and said that the tape the previous guy had put on had fallen off and it should really be applied to the inside of the ducts otherwise the air will push it away (makes sense). After pressuring him for some more details on the issue, he finally admits the initial tech also messed up and put a piston system instead of a TXV which is what my unit requires and is likely the source of my problem. They also advise that part will take a couple weeks to get.At this point I'm obviously a bit frustrated and call a couple times requesting to have a manager or someone call me back. As of now, I have yet to have anyone from management contact me even though I have requested it multiple times.Good news is they got the part earlier.The next guy came and installed it. Bad news is the unit is now running worse than it was before. Haven't even called to deal with that yet. Maybe they will finally get their act together and call me back like they were supposed to.Bonus: They put a hole in my ceiling when they stepped through it. In their defense, they did send someone out to fix it though. I'm okay with companies making mistakes if they make right. Unfortunately, this was the only case where they did.

Hobaica replaced a failed Hot Water Heater for us. Travis Vonau came out and installed a new unit in a clean and professional manner. He arrived on time as promised. Couldn’t be happier with his service. Would highly recommend.

Amazing, quick/efficient service!! If you’re looking for an honest and knowledgeable ac company to take care of your home or business needs, this company is who you want to call. They are family owned and a great, reliable company. I called and had someone at my house within 30 min! My ac was working again within the hour! They also took care of other things (non-related) to my ac issue. They’re the best!!

This company and its employees were AWESOME from the get-go. Jeff, the sales rep, was extremely professional and spent a long time reviewing different options with us. He even put on booties when entering the house. He was clean and dressed with a company shirt. We were shopping for a new a/c, but did not plan on having it installed until cooler weather in the Fall. Jeff recommended minor things that would make our new a/c function to its full capacity.

Unfortunately, our a/c died a few weeks after our research. Desert Diamond was able to scheduled our new installation the following day. They are a 24/7 business.

The 3 installers encouraged our questions and covered everything in the utility room, where they had to access the attic. They totally cleaned up the yard, garage, and utility room. David, the lead installer, was patient in educating us with the new thermostat and answered all of our questions. After a long tiring very hot day, he was patient and in no hurry to get on the road until he was sure that we were content, satisfied, and had all of our questions answered.

We were extremely pleased with our installation crew: David, Russell, & Andrew. All 3 of the employees were respectful and hard workers.

Jeff will pay us a follow-up visit to check on our satisfaction and to inspect the job.

We decided to have them Aeroseal our ducts. It was completed quickly and easily. They covered everything in plastic and even vacuumed when finished. Doesn't get any better than that.

Our new a/c purrs like a kitten. We are even able to set the thermostat at a higher temp and be completely comfortable all the time. We can't even tell when it is on. It's the best.

Don't bother with the rest, go with the best - Desert Diamond Mechanical.

Mark from Expert HVAC was at my house today to do an AC inspection. He was super friendly, personable, and even loved on my doggies. He added refrigerant and offered to change my air filters. House was much cooler within a few minutes. He was professional, answered all my questions, and I felt like I wasn't getting the run around. I highly recommended Expert HVAC and will be contacting them in the future if I have more concerns.

The service man Octavio was very nice guy. On time very professional advised me of what maintenance was being done. Also advised that we were using the wrong size filters. Would definitely recommend this company.

Had a 9200 dollar soft water system with r/o system put in 2 weeks ago. All I have done is chase leaks for 2 weeks. Today, the r/o system apparently had been leaking all day because SOMEONE couldn't tighten up 1 nut so I have hardwood floors soaked in water all day. Rather fix it myself than wait to have ANOTHER person out here to fix it. Looks like it was done the easy way NOT the right way. Cold water in my sink doesn't work now, constant leaks in the garage etc. Nice job Ken Goodrich. This is a joke.

Having owned AZ homes needing AC service/repair, we found the team at 1st Choice Mechanical to be THE BEST! Combining a “can-do-attitude” with gracious professionalism! Very impressive!

We recently had our air conditioning replaced and I can't say enough positive things about the experience. Replacing an air conditioner is not a fun thing to have to do. Its a large expense and a large overhaul in your home. Chase was very patient and thoroughly explained all our options and pricing until we were able to select what would be best for our home. The technicians who completed the install, Elmer and Jon, were so professional and respectful. They worked from morning until evening to get the job done and came back the next morning to finish up on a weekend! It was a huge job and they were quick, thorough, and efficient. In a time when good service, reliability, and general empathy is tough to find I can't say enough how much we appreciated the entire experience. We had several local companies bid our job and valley best was by far the most thorough. Save yourself a headache and just trust them to do what they do.

Pleasant experience with minor hiccups but issues were resolved two days after installation. Friendly employees. Overall good experience.

Replaced 20 year old 5 ton unit. Was worried about potential roof damage and length of installation. They showed up on time, finished in a day and not a mark on the roof! Could not ask for more.

Some of our bedrooms were a lot hotter than the rest of the house. Andy figured out what was causing that issue and was able to reroute more air back to those rooms and better balance our house out. I wish we would have called him years ago. They also found a fire hazard that has been a danger to us for many years and fixed that for us as well. Because of all the additional work his team was here 3 days but they did a great job. We are very pleased with SG Mechanical and would recommend them to our friend and family.

Day & Night has been great. They installed our new A/C unit a year ago. Their tech, Anthony, came out this week to do our annual check. He was very courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. Thanks for the great service

We recently underwent a complete remodel in our home. We took down a wall that contained our cold air return, took down a dropped ceiling that contained duct work in our bathroom and dining room and installed a wall to create a new powder room. AZ Perfect Comfort relocated the cold air return and duct work in all the rooms. AZ Perfect Comfort was amazing to work with from initial walk through for the estimate to the finished product. We encountered several bumps along the way during demolition nothing fazed these guys. They were professional and had lots of great ideas on how to fix the issues and give us they layout in our home we had only dreamed about in the past.
