I called Hays on a Friday evening regarding a rattling coming from my 5 year old Trane air conditioner (which was purchased & installed by Hays). Wanted to have it checked out to see if it was the compressor or another issue. Early Saturday morning Frank M arrived promptly and took the entire unit apart. He tightened the frame and the rattle ceased. Frank assured us that the air conditioner was in great condition, including the compressor and did not need to be replaced. Now that's customer service and efficiency. Thank you FRANK and HAYS!!!

Nathan & JD (Jason) were awesome! They spent the time to truly diagnose problems, explain in detail the issues & estimated price before beginning the repair. They tested the system several times to make sure system worked properly before leaving. Would highly recommend Penguin Air & these 2 guys specially!

Senior citizens beware of this company. They charged my elderly mother over $1,300 to replace a thermostat! They installed the most expensive option without consulting her. She doesn’t even have WIFI in her home and yet they installed the technically advanced unit that my mom will never use.The technician was rude, didn’t even try to attempt to communicate with my mom on how to use the thermostat. The technician had a new trainee that he pretty much ignored. The trainee was very nice and at least spoke to my mom.

Mike (One Of The Owners) reached out to me personally to discuss my mom’s experience. It was determined that there was a miscommunication, mostly on our end. The HVAC system my mom has requires a specific thermostat. No others are compatible. The Technician installed the least most expensive unit based on my mom’s lack of WIFI and ability to use thermostat. The Technician programmed the unit to be as user friendly as possibly. The Technician attempted to contact me but had an incorrect number, which we updated. We are very comfortable moving forward with the Hobaica Team!

i hired expert hvac services last year to install a two ton unit for the upstairs and it operates better than my old one they just replaced. since i was so impressed i hired gabe and his installation team, patrick and tyler who does an incredible work install the downstairs four ton unit. they care about their quality of work and it showed. i don't usually have this great of an experience. cost for the work is reasonable, and the quality of the work is excellent. i recommend anyone needing of repairs or new a/c units call gabe at expert hvac services. they will not let you down.

Jon Parker with Goettl plumbing was great. I got text and a call that he was on his way. He was very friendly. He just wanted to get to know his costumers. He did a great job checking all my facets and water heater. I had no issues just regular maintenance done. I would recommend him coming out anytime I need any plumbing done.

James originally seemed honest and knowledgeable regarding HVAC. The complaint was the 3yr old AC wasn’t blowing as cold as last year. We were told the Schroeder valves x2 were bad and needed 2lbs of Freon with a quote of $508. Once the repair was done, James came off the roof to tell me there was “bigger problems”- the evaporative coil was leaking in more than 20 places. The repair quote was $2500 for labor only (4-5 hours). Who charges $500 an hour for labor!? Oddly, the AC was serviced 26 Jan with no issues. I was beyond shocked.. As James insisted this was a very serious problem.
After having another service come to provide another quote, I was told, there was no leak detected and could have been from the Schroeder valves or a non-honest technician spraying oil on the coils- since the pattern was unusual and “too clean” (no dirt or dust on the oil). Honest HVAC people are very hard to find- unfortunately, this company is not one of them.

This Company has been the best I have ever worked with. Derek was GREAT! He was informative, detailed, friendly and did a really, really great job. He took his time, analyzed all my options, took great notes and listened to the issues with real concern. I am going to purchase a new unit from his Company just based on his performance. I also want to say the office staff was outstanding as well. I can see why this Company has such great reviews and a very long standing. They stand behind their work, they are good on their word, and they are not over priced. Derek showed up two hours after I called in for service. I am looking forward to working with this Company and will refer them to all of my friends and clients.

Our ac went out at my personal home and Frank was quick to respond. We literally had a new ac installed the next morning. Then a few days later my business ac went down and Frank assessed it quickly. great well organized team here and I am looking forward to working with them in the future. First ac company I ever met that actually cares about their customers and has reasonable prices.

Anthony was the person who helped me out today, he was amazing, friendly and super helpful! He even cut down my tree branches which he didn't have to but he did it just to help me out! Was a amazing guy! Would recommend him and this company to help you.

This company took a deposit ($700) equal to half the cost of the job then canceled on the job the next morning giving me no time to find someone else. So, I potentially have to go another day without AC because I relied on this company to do what it said it was going to do. UPDATE - They did refund my money. But, you don't take a deposit if you can't do the job. And, despite this dude's response, I did get another company to fix the AC, but it did take an additional 4 days -cause of the weekend and they couldn't find the part this guy already located and supposedly had ready. What most likely happened is this guy was afraid that the compressor wasnt actually broken (see his response) and would not get reimbursed for it - since warranty only applies if its in fact broken. Regardless, I have running air now, and it certainly is in no way due to this company. This guy also has no class and insulted me multiple times via text, just have to read his response to get a feel for how this guy acts and treats its customers. It's also beyond comical how he tries to put into quotes a conversation that I never had and would never. Dude called me a jerk via text which is just funny. Not someone that is worth dealing with, lots of better companies out there ran by people with class.

Super responsive both before and after AC installation. Surprisingly quick turnaround on a new AC despite most suppliers having shifted to producing ventilators. Thorough, friendly, and happy to answer questions. Very satisfied customer.
