We recently completed a full tear-out kitchen and master bath replacement with Homework Remodels in our mid-century home (built 1957). It was the second major project on which we engaged Steve Shinn and company. The first was about ten years ago for an addition to our home that added an office/bedroom, laundry room, garage extension, new roof, painting and changes to front and rear patios.

Doing such an extensive project that involved all trades gave us the opportunity to really get to know Steve, the quality of work from his team, and the way he runs his business. Needless to say, we were very satisfied and had no hesitation calling Homework Remodels for this latest project.

We were very pleased to see that Steve was not only still in business following the recession that clobbered so many local companies, but actually had grown his business over that time. Knowing that Steve takes a long-term approach to managing his business, and having seen his dedication to customer satisfaction, we were not surprised to see that Homework Remodels flourished. We had uncertainties about other contracting firms, so we went with the one we knew and with whom we already had a good experience. We had confidence in Homework Remodels, so it was a pretty easy decision.

One of the changes we found, that was of great value to us, is that Steve now had an in-house designer, Sheila, whose experience and expertise was obvious from our first meeting. It made tackling such a large project a much more comfortable experience. Sheila provided a lot of information on materials, fixtures, and design, and told us where to find more on our own.

The Homework team provided guidance every step of the way and did a great job. I would recommend them for their quality of work and great customer service.

We used ABA Home Remodeling for a kitchen remodel several months ago. From the start with Amanda - she was super helpful with decorating ideas, to Joe, David and team .. they were very professional and made sure the job was done to the highest of standards. The kitchen cabinets were painted, new sink & faucets were installed, backsplash, and open shelving with the hood was installed. Excellent work!

I have used A & M Mechanical multiple time over the years for several properties. Their timeliness and attention to the details was what I found to be refreshing. If they say they will be there: They are there. The diagnostics that they perform left me with questions, but they were completely and honestly answered. Are they the least expensive? No, but I have found that over time they were the best value, since everything worked thereafter. No loss of my time, or the nickel and diming me over return calls to correct something else. Outstanding experience with the install of our a.c.The crew was very helpful in explaining various pointers for maintaining the unit. I went with these technicians over others due to their straightforward approach to everything. Definitely would recommend them.

This company was highly recommended by a friend and they did not disappoint. After the tech evaluated both A/C units he was honest with his findings and recommendations. I also would like to recommend this company to anyone having A/C problems.

B3 refrigeration was the only HVAC who was willing to come over in order to install a solid state contactor that I bought as our old one was making a lot of noise when engaging.

Other companies didn't know about that or weren't familiar with it and plainely refused to do it or wanted to install a old style.

B3 sent Tim over and even though he never installed one before he was smart enough to figure it out and installed it in no time while explaining what he was doing.

I'm a DIY person and I was thrilled on how he explained things and we had a good talk while he installed the contactor.

Summer is almost over now and the new contactor acted like a champ.

never responds or sends updates. says he will be there at a certain time and never shows up. have been without air for a week in 100+ degree heat. if i could give zero stars i would, do not recommend!!
