I am an out of state Phoenix property owner and more often than not given extremely high bids for materials and services I need done at my properties. I wish I could say that we had a good experience because everyone seemed so nice and helpful but please beware and always get a second opinion! The technician came out and was friendly, clean and did a thorough check of everything so all seemed well at this point. When time came to explain his findings he explained that almost everything on our only 5 year old system was not working properly. We were a bit confused and overwhelmed thinking we needed to spend over 5k to get our seemingly working unit up to par. After thinking it over we wanted a second opinion and called our home warranty company. Best decision we ever made! Their technician came out and said every was in working order and no repairs were necessary. Do yourself and your wallet favor get a second opinion.

On-site how goes it visit by two of the owners of the local Phoenix branch. Got me the unit I needed, at the price I wanted. No high pressure sales tactics. I am happy with these folks.

I called many big names around Phoenix, I am sure you'd know who I am talking about just by seeing their trucks driving around. Neither of them could have anyone come out the same day and I am not going to be able to live in a 90 degree house with three dogs who were miserable and had no idea why they were. After frantically Google'ing AC people in Phoenix I came across these guys who answered the phone right away and said they would have a tech out in about 3 hours. They lied. He was there in about an hour! Took him about 3 minutes on the roof to determine the issue and they needed a part they couldn't get on a Sunday. I emailed them the next morning after a night of barely any sleep and got a response from Danielle immediately saying she was already on the phone with the parts company. When I replied to say thank you the next few minutes she emailed back saying they found the part and are on their way to get it. About 2 hours later they were on my roof fixing the unit, which is now blowing cold air on the disgustingly hot day. Well done, James, Danielle, and Bradly. Excellent and fast work! I will definitely recommend you next time someone says their AC is out and doesn't want to wait days to have someone come take a look!

Our experience with Scottsdale Air was superb! We got quotes from a number of local outfits, to proactively replace our 15 year old, slit-system heat pump. My initial criteria was that all these companies needed to have been in operation at least a couple decades (Scottsdale Air over 60 years). One big name company was very high-priced, and I didn’t feel the salesman was totally genuine. The others were all in the same price ballpark, but Eric, the Scottsdale Air salesman was a really good communicator and he was genuine and knowledgeable. Plus he was to the point, didn’t waste my time and printed out a concise, easy to understand proposal (one company’s quote was 5 pages long!) before leaving. Eric and his office were both very responsive to us, before and after the installation. (BTW - His price was just a little lower than most of the others, but my interaction with him and his office was really what clinched it for me!)

The installers showed up right on time and did the work in a very professional manner – they were respectful of our property and were as quiet as they could be, and had the work done in a little over four hours. I asked Eric previously if they could provide a portable heater, and the installers brought one which kept things quite comfortable while they replaced the old unit.

I have a background in the HVAC field, so I knew a couple things about what they were doing, and I am pleased to say I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again! Oh, one last thing – we went for the simplest Trane unit that would be at least 15 SEER (which was also more affordable). After we had the installation date set, Eric called to say there was an issue with the air handler we’d specified, so Scottsdale Air upgraded us to a much better and costlier air handler without charge - now that’s a good example of excellent and conscientious customer service! Bottom-line: A nice unit sold and installed by a thoughtful, competent company at a fair price – what’s not to love about that!?

Julio came out to service my AC and he was very detailed and knowledgeable. He explained what he did, checked on warranty status, made recommendations, and made an honest quote for the repair. This company has great employees and does quality work.

Really recommend this company! They are super friendly and provide quick service which is significant in Arizona heat. My AC broke on a Monday morning, called them, and they were over diagnosing the issue within a couple hours. They were able to get a brand new AC unit, order a crane, and install my new AC unit by 8am on Tuesday morning. Not even 24 hours had passed since I called them and my AC was fixed!

Technicians checked out the heating and cooling functions of the HVAC system. They also changed the system filters. They were efficient did not leave any mess. I recommend this company, they installed the HVAC system and have maintained it since.
