It has been our experience that the efficiency & courteousness of the frontline phone staff at Desert Diamond Mechanical and of Joe, the HVAC tech assigned to us, has been very positive. They all have exceeded our old-fashioned expectations. As this December’s cold snap hit us, our problem was with our heat pump. Desert Diamond Mechanical was available when we needed them the most. Again, we highly recommend them. Why? 1. Because a real person answered the phone and returned my call promptly with a scheduled time for service and 2. We called Promise for a broken HVAC blower motor after our landlord went incommunicado and we were stuck figuring it out on our own.

The receptionist was attentive, knowledgeable, and was able to clearly communicate the repair process. They booked us a time exactly when we had hoped, three days out, and gave us an estimate that everything would be able to be completed at that time.

The owner, Jesus Montes, arrived promptly at the arranged time and inspired confidence immediately. He is articulate, professional, friendly, and was able to quickly diagnose the blower motor. His quote commanded in the upper end of the expected price range, however Mr. Montes exceeded all expectations for quality and quantity of service so we felt his price were fair.

Mr. Montes, within 2 hours of arrival, completed the repair of the blower motor and provided us with documentation in pictures of the repair as well as personally showed us the old motor and problem. He sat down with us to discuss possible other issues to work out and was helpful in signing the waiver of lien and preparing the invoice in a way the state advises us we needed to legally deduct these costs from our rent.

Our system has been working well since and we highly recommend Promise and Mr. Montes as an efficient and competent contractor

When our home warranty company told us it would be 9 days to get a A/C tech out I called Sun Devil! They had someone out in one day and fixed our unit within an hour. I highly recommend Sun Devil A/C and their manager Joseph Verdugo! Also, their service technician Michael was professional, kind, and courteous.

Replaced 20 year old 5 ton unit. Was worried about potential roof damage and length of installation. They showed up on time, finished in a day and not a mark on the roof! Could not ask for more.

I purchased an annual preventative maintenance (PM) contract from SG Mechanical. An expensive mistake.

During the sumner PM they replaced an OEM capacitor with their cheap inferior capacitor. The replacement caused electrical surges in the fan and compressor - a shady dishonest way disreputable contractors can stress-fail an older air conditioner to force a service call or a lucrative AC replacement - which SG Mechanical pushed before, during, and repeatedly after their PM.

After recognizing the surges as something very wrong, I called one of the SG Mechanical owners for them to come back and put in the correct capacitor. Again they Installed a cheap, inferior, non-OEM, non-Trane-approved capacitor (this time it was the correct voltage and amperage size for the AC unit). After gaslighting the facts and their responsibility they charged me $89 for the service call.

Unfortunately the damage caused by SG Mechanical was already done. The motherboard with visible scorch marks from repeated surging, failed less than three months after their summer PM-Mission accomplished. An expensive repair. Lesson learned: I will NEVER let SG Mechanical work on my Trane AC/Furnace again.

Had a different company out for a general service. Everything was working great at the time. I just wanted to make sure everything was inline for the summer. They gave me a list of about $1500 worth of repairs. I sent them packing. My neighbor told me to call Cactus Mechanical for a second opinion. I'm glad I did. They came out and serviced the unit. The tech was very nice and professional. He found that the unit was working properly and only needed 1 of the 5 parts that the other company said. I am very happy I called them as I might have blindly spent $1500 for parts I didn't need. I ended up spending just a little over $200 for the service and repair. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was having issues with my thermostat not working. James called me and walked me through the wiring of my thermostat and I found the incorrect wire. This saved me a service call. This is the second time I have used Just Air. They are professional and responsive!

Super prompt, polite, and professional. The tech was well stocked and quickly replaced the igniter for our furnace while keeping us both safe (Covid) during the whole process.

I’ve lived in the Valley since 1984, and used REEis over the last five years. They are hands down the BEST AC company around. They are very knowledgable and have given us valuable advice. They did an energy makeover of our house that brought our 1960’s cooling system way into the 21st century, adding much comfort and value to our home.
