As a commercial plumbing engineer, I highly recommend Tribeca. My wife and I were very happy with their services. Our shower valve stem on an old shower failed open Sunday evening right as the hardware stores were closing. Unable to turn off our shower, I shut the water off to our house and we called a few emergency plumbers who might have the correct shower valve stem so we could turn our shower off and get our hot water back. Of all the businesses we called, Tribeca was the most helpful and knowledgeable. Jay took the time and effort on his Sunday evening to confirm which valve we needed before showing up without being able to help us. Although he did not have the specific stem, he was on site first thing in the morning with the right parts and had the issue taken care of quickly. Very professional and knowledgeable, you should be confident in choosing Tribeca. Thank you Jay.

I've used this company years ago and have loved them. They are now owned by another company. I gave them 2 tries recently, and each was awful. Overcharges. Plumbers going AWOL, not completing work. Tried to charge me again to rectify. They leave their equipment here and take mine away. Poor response by manager from complaints. Just awful. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY ANYMORE.TIP: Use a plumber that charges an hourly rate, and not one with a flat fee AFTER you pay a trip charge to find out what that fee is.

Called to ask about installing a gas log fireplace insert. Was quoted $99 for the first 30 minutes and $50 each additional 30 minutes. No estimate of the amount of time it would take. This is just the labor fee. Sounds like gouging to me. Will not be using them.
