I called them, and they were able to send a technician to my house that same night. The technician arrived promptly and Additionally, I appreciated that Hooper Plumbing & Air Conditioning offers 24/7 emergency service, which was a lifesaver in my situation. I highly recommend them to anyone needing AC repair or furnace maintenance. They truly exceeded my expectations.diagnosed the issue with my unit. He was able to fix the problem quickly, and I was charged a very reasonable fee for the job. In addition, I was impressed with the level of professionalism and expertise that the technician demonstrated throughout the repair process.

Hammer from Hooper came to my house mid August and cleaned out a difficult to access drain between two sinks in my master bath. I paid $700+, but was happy my drains worked again. A month and a half later the drains backed up again. I called and confirmed multiple times that this was a warranty call and to send the same gentleman out Bc he was familiar with the drain he already worked. Hammer returned and charged be to clean those drain lines again telling me it’s “hard to warranty work Bc you can never tell if someone has a lot if hair and is going to clog the drain quickly.”I have called and my fiancée have called multiple times to discuss why I was charged and no one has returned a single phone call. I would advise against using this company as they do not stand by their work or return phone calls. I have also shared with the neighborhood Facebook page that recommended them Bc this level of service is not acceptable.

They took care of my AC when it broke down. I called around 4:30 on a Thursday afternoon and the manager answered the phone and said he could have someone out the next day. I received an email that they were on their way just a few minutes later. They arrived on time, quickly found the problem with a bad capacitor, changed it out, and were ready to go in no time at all. I got an email with pictures and explanations of what they did. I've had great experiences with Hooper Plumbing & Air Conditioning so far, including signing up for regular maintenance service. I highly recommend them.

I was quoted an astronomical price on an AC unit. Hooper quoted me a fair price that was thousands less. I went with Hooper and they installed my new AC unit and I now have a service contract with them. Johnnie also found and remedied an issue on one of my existing AC units when he was here on my annual visit. I feel like they are knowledgeable and trustworthy and aren’t trying to sell me on extra things. I also like that they retain their technicians.

I was skeptical about replacing my whole air conditioning system after getting an estimate from a different company that was astronomical! This company wanted to replace everything, which sounded crazy—but the first company did not have the same circumspect approach. They came out twice to examine my unit and found it in good working order and with no emergent problems. You can’t buy character like this anymore—and they were polite and on time too! Our AC went out in the middle night, and we couldn't get anyone to come until the next morning. I called another company that was incredibly rude and tried to sell me $1,000 worth of work that I didn't need. After hours on hold with other companies trying to find someone who could come out today, I finally called Hooper Plumbing and Air Conditioning. They were able to send a technician out within an hour to do the ac repair and quickly determined what needed repair (and what could wait). The technician was extremely friendly and helpful. I had no idea how much our old furnace was costing us! Thank you for getting this fixed so quickly---it was such an improvement from dealing with other companies!

I normally do not write reviews, but...I was quoted $89 over the phone for a drain clog. They said if it's a quick fix, that's the total cost. They came in, fixed it in 10 minutes, and handed me an invoice for $240. When I asked, they replied oh it's usually double that.I do not recommend this company

Hooper Plumbing and Air conditioning is an great example Of a place you’d never want to work. The way people view it from the outside of the company (customers) it may be a great company that takes care of you. Which it is the men that work there are professionals and handle things in a professional manner but they are under paid and definitely unappreciated. The company cuts their employees hours and also pays their highest paid tech a lot less than you would think. They do not pay their employees for driving in between jobs and their employees do not get commission off of anything they sell you. Most of the employees do not go home with more than $1000 paychecks a week which is very ridiculous for the work that they perform and the stress that comes from the office throughout the week. After working there for 6 years I decided it was time for a change and nothing I just wrote above was a lie. I have proof (in pictures) of my hours being cut after I turned my invoices in the following day. I also have every single check stub I earned over the course of 6 years and my hours Hardly ever matched up with how many I actually worked. One week I got paid $418.18 and I am a licensed plumber who had worked over 40hours that week, I went to the bosses and told them about what was happening and it was “corrected”…. Until two weeks later when My check was wrong again. And that’s when I realized they are steadily taking money from their employees and acting like the victim when they are confronted about it. So before you use this company please think about the men that work there and what they go though on a daily basis dealing with thieving bosses and more stress than you can imagine. I dealt with it for 6 years.

I've gone to Hooper twice now, and twice I've been satisfied. Both instances were emergency situations, and both times they did everything they could to get to me promptly. This last time, they had even made it to my house BEFORE I could make it home. Great, quick work done. The workers, Blake and Hector, were both so professional and easy going. Its always slightly nerve wrecking as a woman having to deal with male contractors alone, however these guys never made me feel taken advantage of. I've used them twice now and I'll continue to use them. They've also, twice now, given me the best or lowest quotes for their services as well. All around I'm a satisfied customer.

I am an interior designer and work with all kinds of trades on a daily basis. Hooper Plumbing was impressive! The team was great with communication before, during and after their service. Technician was on time and friendly. They followed through on a challenging task that other plumbers I hired never finished. I will use Hooper Plumbing again in my own home and recommend to clients!

I really hate to write bad reviews, however, for this particular company, I will make an exception. There are several reasons for this review… Shotty workmanship, property destruction, deception, and bullying toward elders.I live at a rent house and the property owner (really nice older gentlemen in his 80’s) hired me to remodel the bathroom. When I got to the plumbing area of the remodel, I asked the homeowner if he knew of a plumber that he would recommend. He told me that Hooper plumbing did work at his church and did a good job, so they were hired to do the small plumbing job needed for the remodel. I was installing a fiberglass shower and needed the drain pipe in the floor moved.Hooper plumbing came to the house and told me that they would be able to do the job in 1 afternoon and told me that it was “no big deal”. So, we agreed to a time and set the date.2 Guys showed up to my house and started the work. They had tools that didn’t work and had to use mine, they took several breaks, left several times to “get supplies”, and had no idea what they were doing. I had to show them how to do the basic job. They destroyed the floor in the wrong place trying to find the pipe, which made fixing the floor all that much harder. I had just finished hanging drywall, which they promptly destroyed. They dropped my new 750.00 shower pan and cracked it. Once the drain was relocated, they told me that they had other jobs to finish and LEFT A GIANT HOLE IN MY SLAB. Then they informed me that it was Friday and that they would not be returning until the following Tuesday.They finally sent 2 more people out to finish the job the following week.They sent the landlord a $2100 invoice. My landlord contacted them to inform them that the invoice they sent was totally unreasonable, and they bullied him into paying way more than the job was worth. I informed Hooper Plumbing that if he didn’t make it right that I was going to leave a bad review and the owner told me that he didn’t care. So here it is.Avoid this company at all costs!

I have used Hooper for decades. They are always excellent. The past visit was extraordinary in that Eric was in and out in less than an hour, performed multiple tasks, was fast efficient and on time. They are the best.

Everything was fine and the guys always did a nice job and cleaned up as if they had never been there. Recently they have not called me back when I left 2 messages. Which I did not understand. I know they have been busy with repairs from the freeze however no one bothered to tell me that was the reason they would not call me back to discuss two jobs at my house which they already knew needed to be done.

I have 3 A/C units and 2 of them where giving me trouble. They where able to come out the same day and make the repairs. Super dependable, super professional, they did excellent work and will use them again whether is be for A/C concerns or plumbing issues. They are a 5 STAR outfit.

Hooper is my go to. They are always responsive and courteous. Our tech is a magician considering the number of units he has to deal with at our house. I could not be more effusive about this company, and I could not more highly recommend them.

Had a backed up sink, called them, they said they could come the next day. Got a call later the same day and they said they could fit me in, so that was nice, one less day of a backed up sink. Painless process, ran the snake through the piping. Still not sure why such a process costs 150 dollars, but it is what it is (and yes I understand the price breakdown, but still, it's opening a pipe and plugging in the snake).

I have had Hooper Plumbing and A/C as part of my home maintenance team for over 15 years. They have helped me through backed up plumbing, frozen pipes, broken hot water heaters and general maintenance on my home and rental properties I had. I think this company and the people they hire are the top of their class.

I'm actually scheduled with them for Monday to install some new gas lamps and to change our full house water filters. This morning, the kitchen sink started leaking so I called them for emergency service today. I was told that they couldn't help me. Even though they say they can schedule emergency repairs, the receptionist told me she had no availability today, which is Friday.

Eric did the best repaired sewer and did it as like it never got damaged. I am very grateful with his professionalism
