Best Water Leak in Dallas TX

Having bought a new house, we keep finding fun new things that need repair with our house! Cody & Sons were able to come quickly and fix our leak in a professional, skilled fashion. These plumbers are very skilled and very knowledgeable. They are very detail oriented and will spend time really take care of the problem, not just do the surface work. They are keen on good quality and I love them for that.

The initial reason for the call was a clogged disposal. He fixed it so quick and we had already paid for the 1st hour of service he offered to check all the drains in the house. That made it all the more worth it.

Jonathan showed up on time and ready to work when I needed my propety checked for leaks. He displayed a high level of professionalism by making sure I understood exactly what was going to happen before getting started. It was excellent work, I would use Slate Plumbing again!

I’ve had a different experience than most with this company...The short version without a lot of details is1. Made a mess of the vapor barrier and ripped one section of the plastic2. Karl quoted $1400 for an eight hour job at most. he said he likes to over estimate just in case but it probably wouldn’t be that much. They worked about five hours and charged me the full $1400...Karl conveniently doesn’t remember saying what he did to me3. I trusted them when they said just aluminum sheeting would be a barrier and totally acceptable for the giant hole they cut behind my dishwasher and sink area...it has resulted in nothing but aluminum sheeting between my pipes and the outside air—also resulting in enormous amounts of outside air coming in.4. Don’t let Jermey and whatever new guy they have work on your stuff5. They seemed to have loosened up all the fittings under the sink when they came out to clean up the mess they made6. I don’t trust the work they did on the drain so additional money will have to be spent on an actual reliable and honest plumber

I just don' think they are affordable , very expensive for what they do . Don't buy the warranty . It doesn't cover anything like I was told . 100 extra for nothing

My sewer line from the house to the street was replaced, they were on time did a great job finished before they said they would and the price was great along with communication from the company!!!!

The team was in time and quick to do the work. Quick response when I reached out for help - shutting down gas and water lines to an apartment and got a range of prices for the work which I appreciated because I at least wanted to be prepared for the sticker shock. After the work was complete I was told I had the best case scenario and paid the lower price on my range. Even if it had been the top end i still appreciated knowing what to prepare for. Team was reliable and I’ll have them back for my next project.

Frederick was my plumber technician. My toilet was stoped up due to weeds in the pipes. I only have one bathroom which made this repair a high priority. He worked very hard to clear them & get my toilet working properly. He was very knowledgeable, explained each step clearly & most of all reassuring that he could fix it. I was very impressed & had no doubt about what he had to do. He also carefully explained the charges. While the necessity of the visit I was very pleased with the overall experience. He was the best!

During the weekend, my pilot light wouldn't stay lit, so I went on Angie's List. I read all the reviews and they were good so I gave them a call. They came out 09/14/2016 and ended up finding out that the gas regulator valve was out. Have an older water heater so I ended up getting a whole new water heater. Putting new parts on an older model could end up costing more in the long run. The guy came within the time range they gave. He was very polite and professional. He even got everything done by the time I was walking out the door for work, so I wouldn't be late. If I ever need anything else I won't hesitate to call them again.

Repair work was fair but cost was off the charts. Job was uncomplicated but plumber misdiagnosed the required task and so it took longer than he estimated to fix. The part was $45, total cost was $395!! It took less than TWO hours so the labor cost was $350! That's more than $175 per hour!! And he still left work for me to finish and he kept the old part, which can be easily fixed and resold!! Bring lots of money if you call these people. This guys charge fees like a doctor.
