I would always hear their commercials on the radio about the company name being hard to spell - it just sort of stuck in my head I guess. Then one morning, everyone in the house is complaining that there wasn't any hot water. I went in to check on the water heater - only to find it was flooding everywhere - coming out of the top. Some type of valve had failed and it was a mess. I remembered that hard-to-spell company name and decided to give them a shot.

To my surprise, the rep came out within a hour or so - that same morning. He educated me on a few tips - like not needing to shut off the water to the entire house in a situation like this - and a few other tips, but as for the water heater - it was toast and already beyond the warranty it had.

There was zero sales pressure for a specific water heater - and instead, he spent quite a bit of time with my wife and I going over the many different options they had for replacing one.

Once again to my surprise, after we picked one - he was already on the phone with a crew and the installation was set for that same day - no extra charges for an emergency situation or anything like that. The crew came out a couple hours later and they, too, were very polite and professional - discussing everything with me before they started touching anything. There was some additional work that had to be done because of the allignment of my exhaust piping - but they all stayed there for the rest of the day - making sure the system was installed that very same day as promised.

My wife and I couldn't be happier with the quality of their customer service, installation, and products. The entire team has been lovely.

We feel like we won the lotto with this company! We are extremely happy with their fast response and professionalism. I can now say we no longer have to keep searching for an AC company! Thank god! Unlike most AC companies we had in the past, they knew the problem immediately with no round abouts and no answers like, I think you may have this problem or I'm not sure what's really wrong with your AC which drove me Bunkers from other companies. They straight out told us what was wrong and what had to be done immediately. You can feel it when you know you have found a very knowledgable AC guy. We knew we did right away! We honestly thought we wouldn't have AC for 9 days and having pets made it more difficult. But I was wrong. They came out the next day after we made the purchase of the new AC unit. We got our ac installed today by Nick and his team. They were very professional, honest and did a wonderful job. We had our water heater, water softener and RO system installed from AHWA two yrs ago and every visit has been so pleasant and great. Can't say enough about them and amazing technicians. Patrick Riley was so easy to work with. I really liked the fact that they sent me a text about the technician, Freddy, before he arrived so I could let my tenants know who to expect. Also, I really liked how I didn't have to physically be present during the service call; yet, I still felt that Freddy did the job like I was watching over his shoulder. Freddy went above and beyond to make sure that I was a happy customer, and that I felt comfortable with the service performed. He even sent before and after pictures of the repair, so I knew he did exactly what he said was going to be done. Awesome customer service, I highly recommend for your A/C repairs! Paid for emergency service $147.00 non-refundable fee on Friday 8/6 and was told new air compressor needed to be fixed. I had to contact Howard Air on 8/7 for next steps to get it fixed, they did not call me. Was told by lady on 8/7 she would contact me on 8/9 to schedule when a/c could be fixed and take my credit card. Was never contacted on 8/9 or 8/10 by lady after she knew our unit was not working at all. Highly recommend to not use Howard Air!

Update: Even though it says someone would contact me, as of 8/16/21 nobody from Howard Air ever contacted me. Very disappointing.

I called this company for a routine maintenance inspection on my AC. They were prompt and friendly. The price was very reasonable and they did not try to upsell me at all. Answered all of my questions. I will be calling them again later in the year to check on my heating system. Highly recommend!
