Our furnace was not working, so we contacted our home warranty company and they sent out Jesse from Crispy Air. He did a fantastic job, was very professional and friendly. He got the job done quickly and we would highly recommend him if you need service.

In November 2021 Crispy Air was sent to us through American Home Shield to replace a compressor. We assumed that the job was done correctly. On May 5th we had our regular AC maintenance company out here to do our summer maintenance. At that time he noticed that our refrigerant levels were extremely low. Mind you we had just started running the AC the week prior. We reached out to American Home Shield and again they sent out Crispy Air. Andrew the tech arrived at 7:30 pm and immediately upon walking in the door said you are not under warranty anymore and to be honest we are not responsible for anything after we get in our vans and leave. He went out to the unit and returned in our house within 4 minutes and said that we have a leak in our wall and that our kitchen wall would need to be gutted so that they could have access to the line as he was sticking his fingers in my face saying, See the grease on my fingers When looking on our security footage he spent most of his time on the phone as he was leaning up against our home with such greasy hands that he left a grease handprint on the house. We went back and forth between AHS and Crispy Air to determine what diagnostic test he ran that determined there was actually a leak and where. I was sent a report from Crispy Air that gave a cost to replace 60-70 feet of copper line along with 4 pictures. 1) Serial no. 2) Reading that said our refrigerant was low and two pictures of the tech pointing to the line. We went 9 days without any air in 100+ temps and reached out to another company to get a second opinion. They came out, did a pressure leak test and found the leak in the line where Crispy Air braised the copper line to the aluminum line when replacing the filter dryer. The second company efficiently repaired the leak and ran all appropriate tests. He explained to us that when the tech was braising the copper to the aluminum he got it too hot since they melt at different temperatures causing the aluminum to crack. WE DO NOT HAVE A LEAK IN THE WALL. Called Crispy Air and wanted to give them the opportunity to rectify this issue and spoke with Cory the manager. He agreed that his tech should not have said that we need to gut our kitchen that that would be ridiculous and then began getting very defensive when I asked to be reimbursed for the cost of refrigerant and cost of our cost to properly fix the problem. He abruptly ended our call when I said that since we can't seem to reach an amicable solution I have no choice than to get my attorney involved. His response was, Then we'll have to get our attorney too Click!It is very disheartening that a company that services the community can be so dishonest and then does not even have the decency to try and resolve the issue at hand.Please be for-warned about this company at all cost. Do yourself a favor and go to Yelp and BBB and read their reviews. Given the fact that they have so many negative reviews you would think that the company would try to improve their quality of workmanship rather than shift the blame to everyone else. Looking forward to their response.Well over a year later and no response from this company. It is amazing that we still don’t have any type of leaks after a reputable company repaired the the workmanship that Crispy Air did initially causing the leak. Unbelievable that this company is in business.

The technician showed up on time dismantled my old system Rebuilt the floor and my air conditioner closet Did a great job on installation came back a year later assess their work and their found that there was some inconsistency repair the problem and left As a customer I'm very pleased And be more than happy to give this company a 5 star rating for everybody in the office out in the field and the technicians thank you guys

I had to have a new ac/heat system put into my condo. This was as close to a perfect transaction as one could ask for. Tim from Crispy was the BEST! The price was right, Tim and his team worked all day until the install was done right, they cleaned up after themselves and were always there when they said they would be. I don't recommend often, but this was a great company that deserves one!

PLEASE READ ALL: I know, very lengthy but necessary. On 01/29/23, Crispy Air came out for a service call on my HVAC unit. Unfortunately, I received the news that no one really wants to hear. My unit (17 years old) needed to be replaced. Garrett went over several options and helped us secure financing for our new unit. We scheduled a rather quick turn around for installation, just two days away. The very next day, they called to ask if I was interested in moving up the installation to that day, Monday. The very next day. Absolutely. Field supervisor Mike Weaver and his crew, Brennan, Dom, and Jay came out. The crew were trainees but don't let that fool you. All of them were Courteous, Professional, and Expedient. I won't try to fool you, there were a couple of hiccups BUT... Crispy Air, especially, Mike and his crew, rectified all issues and in a very timely manner. I never felt like they didn't care. They kept in full contact, great follow up, and great resolution. I certainly recommend them and will use them in the future as needed.

Jesse from crispy air has been outstanding since day one. Long story short I have some trane xl 18i dual stage hvac units. One went down 2 months ago when the cold weather started and the second about a month ago. Other technicians from the same company were not able to repair the unit. Other companies technicians came out replaced an EEV board and they said that only a trane specialiast could fix it. Well they were wrong. Jesse was able to repair one of the units! He told me that he would probably be able to fix the other one with more time and that if a trane specialist could not go out for the repair to give him a call. That is just outstanding service! Now we have some heat!

The installers Eddie and Don were amazing. Very professional, very friendly, kept making sure we had no questions about anything after the installation. I did feel bad for a minute because it started hailing while they were on the roof. However, they covered the unit made sure no rain/hail touched the opening before jumping down and getting inside to warm up. It was freaking cold outside but they kept going and made sure everything was good to go. Highly recommend this company and those two installers.

Our home warranty company sent out Jesse who was awesome, he originally came out to look at our unit because the compressor wasn't working. It turned out that we needed a new compressor, which meant we were going to have to pay for Freon. He then told us that even if we fix the compressor the unit still may not work or if it does it would only be a matter of time until something else goes out on it. We ultimately decided to just invest into a new unit with their company. They not only worked with us on the price, but they were super understanding about us not wanting a high monthly payment. When they came out Jay, Eddie, and Tim were very respectable and worked hard to get our unit in on a timely manner. I would 100% recommend their company to anyone that is needing a new AC system or AC work done. I was very satisfied with everything they brought to the table.

Justin was amazing. I’ll tell you why. I have contacted 3 friend referrals for repairs on my heater that they said was not repairable. Or they don’t make parts for it etc. I am a 68 yo teacher that has been without heat for 9 yrs because I could not afford new units. Justin came in and troubleshooted in less than 2 hrs. He found a loose wire re connected it and wahlah I have heat. I was beginning to think that there were no honest people left in the business world. Then Justin came into our lives and showed us with pictures what was needed thank you Justin you should be a senior leader in the company

We can’t say enough about this business! Crispy Air will literally be our go too and referral for anyone that needs repair or new install!! Our AC went out on a Friday and by the next morning they were at our house. The issue was diagnosed and we had to have a new AC unit. Not only was their diagnosis accurate but I don’t think we have had any other company that has been this professional and thorough. Ever tech new what they were doing and did the job extremely well with nothing but professionalism. They worked for 12 hours on a Monday and I’m not sure they even stopped for lunch because we never saw them take a break, only to run out for water. They found a problem we had been having for a very long time that was causing our ac issues and they literally did not leave until everything was complete. They cleaned up everything and the main tech Mikie explained everything in detail about what was going on , what the issue was and how they were going to not only put our new system in but fix every issue we had, to make sure everything was exactly how it should be.I don’t have the name of the first tech that came out on our initial first visit but if I did I would mention his name because he was awesome!! The techs that came out to install and fix everything .. Mikie , Oscar, Keith, Jake, and Ernesto you all are above professional!! THANK YOU for your hard work , your professionalism , your knowledge and for representing your company with flying colors. We most definitely will be referring people!!! Also we know AC units are expensive let me just add Crispy Air was extremely reasonable and completely fair about pricing!! Not at all what the big companies charge. Crispy came out this last Sunday. Mom's unit needed a tune-up. Garrett came out and was our service technician. Crispy had come through for mom about 2 years ago when 2 other providers stated they would not work on mom's old unit die to age and being obsolete yet Crispy did come through for us, they were able to keep the old unit working and save us a huge amount of money for mom and for that we are grateful. The system held on for those years. And best of all they were reasonable with what they charged mom. Garrett did a great job and provided good information and options for us to select from. Absolutely horrible, living in AZ you should not take 4 days to go out to a home that has been out of A/C, especially letting them know there is 2 elderly people and a disable person who are not able to financially go to a hotel for a week. Once they finally came the technician gave me a BS reason for the air not working. He stated that the air was not blowing because the filters had not been changed and that the refrigerant was low. Once they reported it to American Home Shield our cost out of pocket was going to be $2200, manly for the refrigerant. I went with my gut and called an outside company who went the next day of calling and they stated it was the blower and the refrigerant was completely full, his cost $450!! Blows beautifully going om 4 days in. Buyers beware because with this whole process it was impossible to get through there number to contact someone. I gave up and cancelled with American Home Shield. Prior to the initial visit it took them 4 days to report the assessment to the insurance. Mind you it was Labor Day weekend, I gave them the benefit of the doubt but they were out on Thursday. Why not report it to the insurance on Friday? Another reason to give a horrible review. I am sadden by this experience, but happy we found an honest company they helped us out immediately.

I’ve had to call this company three times now to come out and fix the air conditioner. The first time it lasted 3hrs And I had to wait 5 days for them to come back out. This last time it lasted overnight called them again. We will see what they say next is wrong first was fuse then new motor.

I am so sorry I had this company install my new unit. Nothing, but problems and broken promises.Just had a brand new unit installed and not only did they damage my house and leave without saying anything, but they don’t stand by their work either. Trying to have it fixed has been a hassle and we have had to have people back out here 3x and it still is not working correctly. They promised a more efficient unit and it costs me more for electricity than my old unit and it doesn’t work as well either.After inspecting the attic space myself I found a clogged drain line with tons of debri floating in the drain pan and I also discovered cold air billowing into my attic because the old duct work they re-used is not properly attached. I’ve taken a total of 4 days off of work now and the lady at the office hangs up on me every time I suggest the work is sub par.If you want to pay someone else to come fix their work after they leave then this is your company.

We were referred to this place from American Home Shield. We had to have our system replaced, which after reading how much Freon cost and how it is not going to be used any longer we really did not have a choice. Nino and his brother Dominic both came out and spent the day working at our house to replace the outdoor and indoor unit and changed out the coil system. They did a great job battling the heat inside the house and in the attic. They were very kind, kept our house clean with plastic, and explained the process to us. Would use Nino again in a heart beat as he was very professional.

The staff and technicians at this company are always polite and professional. My only complaint is that my system is under warranty but it took two weeks to get a new compressor installed when one of the units stopped working. However, the technician showed up as scheduled, installed the new compressor, and now my A/C works just fine.

First ever one star review called them up to fix the drain for my AC everything else was working just fine. After they blew it out they broke my blower. Call them up around 2:00 p.m. the same day they did not send anyone out for 3 days. Once he showed up they had to order a blower was given the time 3 to 7 days. I understand they're shipping however they did not offer us any temporary room ACS or hotel stay after they broke my AC in the middle of summer in Arizona it is been over 90° in my house. I will be without AC for almost 2 weeks.

American Home Shield, the home warranty company, contracted with Crispy to do our AC maintenance/checkup. I have two units outside. The tech went around them and I presume checked things out.The problem was that I received only a verbal statement that all looked pretty good except for something that might need looking at later. What it was I'll never know because I never received any sort of report. All I got was the invoice, showing paid in full. NO DETAIL.The tech tried to upsell me by saying I should consider having them install surge protectors/suppressors for each unit. I was told that the price was $250 each but that he could do them for only $200 each. This borders on taking advantage of the retired/elderly folk.Twice I called the Crispy office for a detailed checklist of the work done. I was told that if they did that for every customer they would have no time for much of anything else. What the heck?I called American Home Shield twice about the situation and nothing came of it. So, I canceled AHS today. Good riddance.I advise all to be wary of Crispy Air and Heating. Perhaps they will be fine for your needs. Not mine. Ever. Again.

I had no problem with the tech. But the manager at the office was so unprofessional. I was told multiple times by my insurance that the part I needed was authorized to be replaced. But Crispy Air kept insisting it was only for a “repair” which broke again a week later. $900 dollars down the drain! So I had a recall order set up for them to come by a check but it would not be for another 3 days maybe. I called a emergency service company to fix it and they did for no charge at all. Would love to get a refund but I really don’t want to talk on the phone again with this company.

My A/C had multiple system failures. Justin went above and beyond to ensure that everything was working perfectly. He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and willing to look into all causes to make sure that the problem was solved. He took the time to explain what was causing the issue and how to maintain the units and look out for any signs or future concerns. My experience from booking the appointment to the end was wonderful. I'm so impressed with the integrity and workmanship and definitely recommend Crispy Air & Heating.

We called American Home Shield and they dispatched Crispy HVAC Co.to repair our AC, the technician Garrett arrived promptly to our home in Fountain Hills this morning and was very professional and highly knowledgeable. My AC unit went out the night of June 24th. They were quick to schedule an appointment, but not quick to get someone out. A tech came out the following Tuesday and could only diagnose the problem. I called back the next day (Wednesday) to have a repair tech come repair it. The earliest they could send someone out was literally a week later. Ok fine, the window is 11-5. 3:30pm comes around and not a word from the tech that they’re on their way. I call the office. I was told the tech is still at a call in a city 30 minutes away from me and he still has 2 more “normal“ (meaning not repair) calls to do before me. Clearly a customer without AC in the middle of summer is not a priority! How can an AC company in AZ not prioritize a customer without AC over “normal” service calls?! This company is absolutely ridiculous. The only reason I used them is because they’re contracted with my home warranty (AHS who I also wouldn’t recommend). Not only that, but the tech they sent to diagnose the issue, had a company profile picture of himself shirtless in front of a bathroom mirror!! Completely unprofessional in every way. Will never recommend Crispy Air and Heating!!! If you need a good company, contact Schiller Air-Heating!

Having your air conditioner poop out in Phoenix is never a good time, but yesterday I met Kenny from Crispy Air & Heating. The company was recommended by my home warranty company and they were responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. I decided to replace my 22 year old unit, rather than putting more $$ into the old one. Today, Justin and Keith arrived right on time to install my new system. They are bright and hard-working, and had me up and running in less than the time slotted. Keith also helped me set up my new Nest thermostat. These guys are really great, I got a great deal on the new A/C and the whole thing went very smoothly. I highly recommend Crispy Air & Heating!

Welcome to another heat advisory in Az. My AC started to blow hot air and I was lucky enough to have Crispy Air and Heating assigned to me. Garrett was my technician and arrived at my door early. As I was driving from Phoenix he called me to let me know he was there. My AC was checked and fixed within 30 minutes. Garrett followed all of the COVID-19 requirements and I felt very safe with him coming into my home. Very kind and great service! I will definitely request Crispy Air and heating in the future.

Our A/C decided it was done & just couldn't handle another Arizona summer. We contacted Crispy Air & Heating through our home warranty. From beginning to end, the folks at Crispy treated us with respect & informed us of all the issues... probably most important one being our unit was the original at 18 years old. We elected to replace the entire system & were pleasantly surprised to hear the unit could be installed the next day! Tim led the installation crew with Lalo & Seth, along with special support from Mikey. The work was done that same day & we slept cool that night. The next week, Mikey came back & performed a complete quality check. He also took care of a couple of minor caulking tasks & made sure our system was running most efficiently. We can't say enough good things about Crispy Air & Heating! Thank you!!!

I had to use them because of a home warranty. It's been TWO weeks since I had AC and I live in Phoenix!1. misdiagnosed the problem 2. Tech came to fix the problem and said the original tech had ordered the wrong parts. Came the next day with right parts and still couldn't fix it .He said the original tech had missed this issue,, too when he came out. 3. I am sitting here two weeks later still with no AC and now they are coming on Monday. I called AHS and complained and requested the owner of the company come on Monday and if I don't get it fixed on Monday, my head will explode! I would NEVER use them, if I didn't have AHS home warranty.

Crispy Air is a vendor for American Home Shield warranty. I chose not to replace my compressor on my older unit and instead replace the entire unit with another company. I’m glad I did because after one week they still hadn’t submitted their diagnosis to AHS so I could get their cash out offer submitted. I guess they knew they weren’t getting the job so it took 5 calls and over one week to finally get them to submit the required paperwork. Poor customer service on both of them.

This AC tune up service was postponed for a couple of days, but the company let me know in advance for this delay! Day of the appointment, Justin the technician called about an hour in advance that he's on his way and arrived on time! Upon arrival, he explained about the process and did a fantastic job and documented everything with photos! Justin was very courteous and very thorough in his work. One of the capacitors was weak (which he showed me it's reading on the meter) and needed to be replaced, which he had it in his truck and was replaced immediately!Very happy with this company's performance and recommend them highly.

I needed my AC unit serviced because it stopped blowing cold air right as it started hitting triple digits in AZ. I scheduled a service request through American Home Shield, who got me in touch with Crispy Air. Someone called within 2 hours of me submitting a service request and got me scheduled for the next day. My technician, Richard, called me before arriving giving me plenty of time to make sure I was home. He was there for about 30 minutes or so and left having fixed the issue and answering my other questions about maintenance. It was an all around painless and easy experience!

After many days of reviewing prices and quotes we decided to go with Crispy Air to replace our 12+ year ac. This was one of the BEST decisions we have made. The team consisting of Nick, Tony, Marty, Jacob and Keith were amazing! They were the most courteous young men I'd ever met. Promptly, they started working and worked non-stop for hours. They gave us step-by-step instructions on what they were going to do and then answered all of our questions. They cleaned up everything before they left and then promptly followed up with a check up after a few weeks. We love our new ac and we are 100% satisfied. Our AC unit stopped working early April. Going through our home warranty company they sent us to Crispy Air & Heating, Inc. The tech Richard called me when he was on his way and arrived on time. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue for our upstairs unit. Parts had to be ordered to do the repair. He gave us accurate estimates and time frames. Nick came out to do the repair. He was also punctual, knowledgeable and did it quickly. Two days ago our air went out again. This time it was our downstairs unit. Nick was able to quickly diagnose and repair our unit in a matter of minutes. Very happy with the service, promptness, professionalism and a quality of repairs. I highly recommend this company.

My A/C failed twice in two weeks (two separate issues) so I had the opportunity to meet a few of Crispy's Service Technicians and they were all very professional. The unit is very old so I know I've got to replace it but I thought I would wait until spring 2021. I shared that idea with Garrett and he pointed out that fall and winter are the best times to replace A/C units because when it gets hot all A/C companies in AZ are busy and the cost of units is always higher. He took the time to explain financing options and provided me a written estimate. He's very Customer Service driven and very knowledgeable. He wore a mask and was very careful about Covid. Crispy Air is fortunate to have Garrett on their team.

Like many who have shared reviews, My home warranty company contracted Crispy Air & Heating after the blower unit on my home went out downstairs. Perfect timing. Summer time when its 107 degrees. I was contacted by them and an appointment was scheduled. The technician Kenny showed up on time, quickly confirmed my suspicions in regards to the diagnosis and informed my that he would get the part ordered in the morning. I was originally a little disappointed to hear that they weren't going to be able to make it out to place for a few more days because of the busy summer schedule but then I got a big surprise.Kenny text me from his personal cell phone to let me know that when he got the part in and saw that I originally scheduled to have it installed a few days later, he decided to openly volunteer to come that very same day because he didn't want my family to not have A/C for that many days. This guy did it on his way home after a long days work. I can't say how much its appreciated that he went out of his way just to help us. That is some serious customer service. Our AC stopped turning on out of no where. We were glad it didn’t happen during the peak of summer but were hoping it wouldn’t take all week to fix. We reached out to Our warranty company and Sandy (sp?), the tech from Crispy Air and Heating came out next day. When he got here he was on time, professional, and friendly.I had a horrible experience with a tech from another company last year. So much so that I was really dreading having another tech come out.Such a relief to know that there are still good techs like Sandy out there. I will be recommending these guys to everyone.

He was on time (even gave me a heads up he was on his way), professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and the biggest thing was he was able to fix my issue same day!! He was able to explain and show what was going on with my system and how he was going to fix it. Before leaving he ensured my AC was working correctly. He was super friendly and easy to work with. This company is great! Crispy Air came to our home previously to check our heating and cooling system when we first stayed in this home. A vacation home, it is not always in use, and that can create problems for a heating system.We arrived for our winter stay on a Friday and found that our furnace was not heating our home to the desired temperature. We called American Home Shield to get it looked at. We were very happy they called Crispy since we knew they would be on time and professional. Our appointment was for the following Monday, and they contacted us with an estimated arrival time. They arrived on time with proper COVID-19 gear on. Our tech, Sandy, was very respectful of our space, and was even willing to work around our puppy. He not only fixed the problem, he explained it to us and showed us how to prevent recurrence. Crispy followed up, as before, with a call the next day to make sure we were happy.

Crispy Air responded to a service request I submitted to American Home Shield. Like a lot of other people that have left reviews, they lied to me about how much refrigerant my unit needed. They told me that my unit required 11lbs of refrigerant (and a new motor). This would cost me over $1000 after what AHS covered. They also told me that I could not just replace the motor...that I HAD to do all the work or nothing and that was an AHS rule. I called AHS and they told me that they would not mind replacing just the motor, it was in fact up to the contractor. Having no faith in this company, I had to battle with AHS to approve a second opinion. When the second company came out they confirmed that the motor was bad, but the refrigerant levels were fine. They also told me that Crispy Air is notorious among Phoenix A/C companies for doing this. He said it is their way of making money. This was also confirmed by a 3rd a/c company I had out. My family and I were without A/C for over a month all b/c Crispy Air's greed. The people that schedule/answer the phone are also not very friendly. Would not recommend AHS, but if you have them and they try to send out Crispy Air....you should be DEMANDING and different company. 1-Star b/c Zero is not an option.

NOT HAPPY. Ricky shows up on May 9. Inspected the unit but said it blew cold when he turned on the AC, so he could not work on it. Blew cold for an hour. Then like the past week, started blowing hot after an hour. No AC since then. Spent $700 for a portable AC to get by until he returned. Crispy returned on May 20. Service Tech said that he could not repair it because it was a water based AC. If Ricky would have told us that on May 9, we would have found another company and probably have AC by now. Unfortunately I am limited on who I can use because they have to be American Home Shield approved.

I live in a rental house and the A/C stopped blowing cold air. The landlord wasn't really too concerned about it being an urgent situation and attempted to get someone to come fix it the next day (Sunday) but the fix only lasted about 8 hours. So by day 3-4 I was pretty frustrated and the landlord finally contacted Crispy Air & Heating. They were able to come out the same day, our technician, Nick, called to let us know when he was coming and then followed up with us once the repair was done to let us know what was done and that we were good to go. I really appreciated the speediness and communication as I've had other misc. repair people come over and then leave without saying a word so we didn't know if the job was even completed or if they went out for parts or what. I would definitely recommend them.

We called this company because our system wasn't running the best. They said there was a leak and needed to get parts. Well our system that was working somewhat the last week completely died when they came and messed with it. Left us with hundred degrees inside for 3 days.We had to leave our house and stay in a hotel after these people came in our home.Crispy replaced our compressor, the outside unit with a brand new one and our thermostat inside damaging the paint in the process. It has been well over a week and we're still without any AC. The new compressor they put in doesn't work. The thermostat hasn't coming down under 90.This is a junk company. If you can I would run!

A friend recommended Crispy Air. Thankfully our AC had not stopped working, but was not running efficiently, not real cool, and was making odd noises. Initially called to get a bid and was told to call with any questions. Called and emailed with a couple questions. Did not hear back. Called them and finally someone contacted me. Day that AC was installed was told a manager would be calling to ensure all was as expected and answer any follow up questions. Waited several weeks, crickets. Finally called and set up the appointment myself. The morning that we'd set up the appointment, someone called me at 7:30am to advise me we needed to reschedule because the technician who was supposed to come that day, decided to go to Vegas at the last minute. ? So we rescheduled and Tony (the technician who came to my house today) was great! Fast, friendly and informative. I reccomend Crispy Air - but be prepared to wait, and know there may be a few hiccups. We are very happy with our AC from Crispy Air.

I called American Home Shield because my AC was blowing warm air. Crispy Air called me the very same day and set an appointment for three days later - fortunately it was not too hot yet. They sent me a text and email letting me know when they would be here.Prior to showing up I was texted with the notification that the technician Brandon was twenty minutes away. Brandon was right on time. He inspected the unit to find out my thermostat was the problem. It was replaced at no charge through my American Home Shield warranty.Brandon was on time, professional and resolved the problem. There was no pressure for additional services and I would recommend Crispy Air and I would request Brandon again.

Very professional technicians. Sandy was quick to identify that fixing the old unit could result in more expense over time versus a new unit. Once I said yes to the new unit, they jumped into action and it was installed the next day by Keith and Marty. Both of these technicians were personable and professional. They worked diligently throughout the process and answered all our questions. Lastly the item that impressed us was the followup inspection by Tony. Once again a very professional leader that inspected his technicians work to ensure quality of the job. Great personality and comprehensive inspection on the unit. They came out to repair our system. Didn't fix, or do anything, saying it was pre existing. Our service agent fixed the problem short term and said there is NO WAY TO DETERMIN IF IT WAS PREEXISTING!! Looked like to him it had been working and just went out. Crispy air in my opinion is a joke. Also they font answer there phone! I tried 30 times over a number of days. They answered once and someone was supposed to call. Never did!!!

The ac is up and running now. I recently scheduled an A.C check-up for both of the units at my home through my homeowners warranty. One unit was supposed to be free and the other unit I had to pay for (which I did). The Technician came out and used my garden hose which he removed (which was fine) and failed to replace it when he finished (not fine).  When I received the invoice, it reflected only one unit being serviced and after he left, I observed only one unit worked. His complete job lasted approximately 9 minutes and afterward he failed to provide an assessment of what he found, nor provided any recommendations. Both of my units were functioning properly prior to his visit. This was just supposed to be preventative maintenance. He didn't even check the filters or even look at them.

Richard from Crispy Air and Heating came to our house and diagnosed the failure to our AC System. He subsequently applied for a 18-month interest free loan from Wells Fargo to finance the AC/Heating System. He went beyond in helping us to apply for the loan and also helped us to decide whether to repair or replace our system. He also arranged for a new complete system to be installed 24-hours later. The following day Jessie and Nino from Crispy Air and Heating arrived early in the morning and made sure to call ahead as promised. Their expertise and experience were very apparent , as well as being very courteous when we asked them questions. They kept us notified as they installed the system about their progress...step by step. We have a large family and friends. Richard, Jessie and Nino are TOP NOTCH PROFESSIONALS. American Home Shield customer. Communication was immediate after claim was filed. They called to set up appointment and the tech called 30 minutes out. The 9am to 3pm window was shocking, but the work was done by 10:30. Ricky investigated the unit, found the problem and repaired it. He gave me some other tips and even had a fix to help in case I failed to do annual maintenance on the drain line.This was my first claim and I’m happy. Ricky did advise me that AHS doesn’t readily replace units since almost everything is fixable. I appreciated that knowledge.

Crispy Air was very responsive in setting up appointment, Kodie was on time, professional and was able to diagnose the problem and explain it to me. AC went out the Friday night before one of our scorching Arizona summer weekends. Crispy Air is who my homeowner's insurance contracted through and I'm very thankful they did! Garrett came earlier than scheduled, was very polite and professional, and answered all of my questions. Bottom line Service + low price wins it all. I went through 3 AC companies for quotes and this team won on service, honesty, and price. This is after 1 month of install, and I had no issues. I need to comment that this team was willing to step up on repairing my old AC where other companies made it mandatory to replace and, in effect, forcing me to pay out more. Because Crispy Air was completely honest with repairs of my old unit, I decided to trust them with a purchase of the new unit. I appreciate a team that thinks outside the box to service the customer, and I know my new unit will be in good hands. As a side comment, other companies made me sit through an hour of grueling sales pitches and repeated badgering phone calls, where this company had a 5min discussion. That is a true representation of a business that knows it's quality, and doesn't need to invest in a whole department to convince you.

I called Crispy Air to come out and do a tune up on my air conditioner which is going on 10 yrs old now. So Crispy Air sent Nick the Technician out to service it. Nick was really nice and very professional and after checking it out my air conditioner he found it had a part that was going out. So I asked him to replace it for me and he took care of it, but he also went beyond what was necessary to service my air conditioner and I really appreciated that very much. I called my warranty and Crispy Air was dispatched out because my ac was no longer getting cool. They replaced my compressor in my ac after first stating that the coils had a leak. Their was refrigerant there because they said in order to make the repairs they had to release the refrigerant and I would have a cost to replace. The coils had been replaced previously and were still under warranty, so the Warranty had that company came out and check the coils, there were no signs of leak proved that the coils were fine. So then the manager of Crispy Air came out, stated that the valve switch and compressor was faulty. They replaced both. The ac was still not cooling. The refrigerant had leaked out. They wanted me to pay, again, for refrigerant because they were adamant that it was the coils. They did not take responsibility for the leak. So I had to have the previous company come back out and they replaced the refrigerant(for free). They stated that they saw leak outside where the valves were, they also took pictures of where the leak was coming from, which meant when they replaced my valves they did not connect them properly. After the previous company tightened the valves where they saw the leak, my ac worked all summer, but now it is winter, and my heat does not work. This was one of the worst experiences for me. I am a single mother of 4 and a nephew. The amount of money that I had to come up with to get these repairs done was ridiculous, and on top of that after all of that my ac does not work properly still.

Ricky from Crispy Air and Heating was just here. Our AC system was not blowing any air. He determined that the blower motor needed to be replaced. He replaced the motor. The fee was covered by American Home Shield. Ricky did a great job. He was friendly, knowledgeable and fast. This is my first experience with Crispy Air and Heating and it was a good experience.

We recently had problems with our air conditioner. Our Home Warranty sent out a different company. After that company came out twice and did not fix the problem, Crispy Air came out. Within 5 minutes of listening to the problems we described, they determined our coils had frozen and there was a leak. Given that the unit was 20 years old we opted to buy a new AC unit. This was installed promptly with good follow up a week later to make sure unit was working properly. I would highly recommend Crispy Air & Heating. They are prompt, responsive and very professional.

Do not use this company! I would leave zero stars if I could. They were assigned to us by our home warranty company, American Home Shield. I immediately called (Wednesday 9-4-2019, 8:42am) after I submitted the claim and saw who were given as a contractor. On the phone I asked when they could come to diagnose why our A/C had abruptly stopped working. In the meantime, my father who has 40+ years experience working on industrial machines came over to check the issue and told us the problem was the blower motor. Anyhow, Crispy Air said they could come the next day between 8am and 8pm. Not having any A/C for over 24 hours during an Arizona summer was very disappointing, add to the matter I am having a high risk pregnancy, I have other kids and an elderly dog. They had no sympathy for the matter and would not change that they could not come till tomorrow. My husband and I were forced to purchase a portable unit for $600 at that point, as the risk of over heating could cause the loss of the pregnancy. We placed the unit in our bedroom where we all had to huddle. Finally around 3 or 4 the next the day (Thursday 9-5-2019) the technician (Richard) calls to let me know he was on his way. I answered the phone and he said he was 30 mins out and I said okay, we are home he said yeah, I said thank you he said yeah, just completely rude and irritated I guess he has to work. Once Richard arrived we told him the problem was the blower motor and he was so rude! He said I don't know who told you the blower motor is bad, but it’s the control board that's bad. This assessment took less than 5 minutes and used zero equipment to test or analyze the problem. He was completely negligent, and should have taken due diligence as people’s lives are at stake when the A/C goes out in a climate like this. We were skeptical, and questioned further, but he was adamant it was the board, not the motor. But the board had already been replaced 2 months ago, we did not believe him. He left saying that he will have to order the part and get it approved from American Home Shield. Friday (9-6-2019 at 9:22am) Crispy Air called to let us know they can return to install the board on Monday (9-9-2019) between 8am and 8pm which would be 6 days of no A/C in the Arizona heat all for a part we did not believe was bad. So at that point on Friday we had someone else come out to assess the situation and guess what was bad???? The blower motor!!! The blower motor was replaced no thanks to Crispy Air or American Home Shield, and guess what the “bad board” is operating the new blower motor just fine. Had we waited for Crispy Air on Monday would still be without A/C as a new board would not have fixed the REAL issue. And how many more days would we be waiting on parts to be ordered and American Home Shield to approve it? How many more days would our house be unbearable? Well, Crispy Air wouldn’t have cared either way! IF YOU ARE ASSIGNED CRISPY AIR, ASK FOR A RE-ASSIGNMENT!!

Sandy, the technician arrived early, but was sure to phone ahead so I was more than happy to get the show on the road. He was incredibly professional and helpful. Needed a part replaced that he wasn't originally planning. Left to the hardware store, picked it up, and installed. Made sure the job was done well, and done fully.

We had a service appointment on Sep 16th. The technician, Garrett, was very professional. He went up in the attic to check the electrical systems and then showed pictures of the electrical boards. He checked the external cooling units. Garrett explained everything properly. I was very happy with his service and would recommend him and this service.

Woke up realizing our AC was out at 6am. Reached out to our home warranty which set us up with Crispy. They called right at 8am when they opened and Garrett was out here within 2 hours. A/C went out and we called our Home Warranty Co. They gave the job to Crispy A/C & Heating. When they called us and Due to our Health issues and the heat in the house they were dispatched in timely manner.Ricky came out and he was so professional, on time, and got right to the problem. He was also very kind. He explained everything that he was checking and informed us of the issue. He even came out on a Sunday. He definitely was well trained and we would request him again.

I recently had an issue with my A/C system not working properly. I had another local HVAC company come out to repair it. To my surprise this company told me that I needed to replace the unit and I told the technician that I don't have that kind of money. I then contacted Crispy Air, explained my situation and they dispatched one of their technicians whose name I believe was Sandy. He arrived at my home and began to trouble shoot the problem and within an hour he had discover that the only problem was that there was a defective fan motor. He replaced the part and my A/C has worked flawlessly since. I commend Sandy for his speed, honesty , professionalism and knowledge. He saved me a ton of money. Thank you Sandy and Crispy Air. I will use this company again and recommend them to everyone

Our home warranty contacted Crispy Air when we had an issue with our A/C. Tech came out, noticed it was froze up, and said he can't diagnose the issue until it thaws out. Make sense. But then said we would need to recharge the unit with refrigerant for $970 our cost after warranty coverage and that the return trip would be 3-5 days out.Found another company, who not only told us how to temporarily have air through the weekend but fix the issue, a relay switch, for only $300.Bottom line, don't trust this company or their techs who look to scam people for whatever they can get. Also, your quote to replace the unit whole was $3000 more than the other guy. Screw you. Never again.

Kenny called ahead to let me know he was on the way. When he arrived he was polite and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly and the AC unit was running correctly before he left. He was extremely thorough and answered all of our questions. He made some recommendations for yearly maintenance and filters to avoid problems in the future, which was very helpful. Great job!

BEWAREThis would be my 3 & final time having to deal with this AC company one of the most terrible experiences in my life with a service provider. they will set you up so they can keep coming back and charging you or your home warranty company.I even talked to Brandon the supervisor about the issue he was very rude to me and my spouse by just saying we can return your stuff & u can go somewhere alse. I don't recommend going with Crispy unless you really want this kind of treatment I am still currently waiting for them to drop off my AC blower and motor. So i can get it fixed somewhere else. Let me mention the reason they where out here the first & 2nd time they didn't replace the filter drier the 1st time they came to replace ac compressor witch then clogged & caused failure.then they came charged for the job when they should have done it the first time around. after charging again due to there warranty being passed 30 days..it got fixed now i have another issue with my blower motor burning out that i wont let them mess with or get more out of us just have to say no integrity nor they stand by there work.

I requested service from American Home Shield 6:39am and was scheduled at 7:39am with Chrispy Air. The Technician arrived around 11 Am. Called before he arrived. Garrett Gearhart was very professional. When he came in the house he wore a mask and he promptly repaired the unit showed me the part that was totally fried and within an hour our house started to cool down great job Garrett. This is the second time American Home Shield sent Chrispy air to our home. Both Experiences were 5 Star.

I had them come out for a test of my heating system before Thanksgiving to see if it worked since we just bought this house a few months ago. Found out the heating didn’t work. So I contacted through American home warranty to schedule them to come back to fix the issue. They originally had diagnosed it one thing but when the hvac person came in found out it was a whole set of other problems. The guy tried to fix it but didn’t have the parts for completion to fix. So he had to come back order certain parts to complete it later that next week. So he finally came back again and he got it all working. Pretty much had to get it almost all replaced due to the issues my heater had. I am very happy for the work they did because the heater now works. Not freezing and they were very prompt in getting it back to working. I would recommend them they were very helpful. I am glad to have my heater back working again especially for being 27 years old.

Our landlord called this company because they are contracted under warranty. Naturally, this was on a 110+ degree day. Although they could not come that day due to the volume of calls, they did show up promptly the next morning. They did an inspection and found 2 leaking holes that needed to be plugged. They took the time to do a very thorough job filling the holes and pumping in new coolant. I was very satisfied with their service and would recommend to a friend. One bonus feature was the app they use to let you know exactly when they will be coming. A big thanks to Kenny and his associate for leaving another satisfied customer!

The communication between this company and my home warranty cost me two weeks of having to call for answers. When the technician left my home he said he was going to complete a report and submit to my home warranty. That either never happened or someone screwed up.after two weeks all of a sudden the service request is closed with this company stating there is nothing wrong. This is despite the fact that I had to have another company put 3lbs of refrigerant in my unit.

Working with this company has been the most frustrating experience. Absolutely horrible customer service!! Everyone I have spoken to has given me a different story (4 different people). They have told me they would contact me to provide me updates then did not call back. I was told a part was ordered at 7:33 this morning then two minutes later I spoke with someone else who told me the part was not ordered. Abigail was terribly snarky, and rude. I spoke with the tech Brandon who was very nice and really seemed to know what he was talking about when he was at the house trying to sell us a new AC unit but when I spoke with him on the phone today he was defensive and abrasive (not what I expected from him at all from our first meeting with him). I guess they would have still been nice and helpful had we decided to have them install a new unit..... even though we were still going to have to pay $1,300 out of pocket for the repair (the portion not covered by AHS). We have been without AC for nearly two weeks (clearly a frustrating situation for anyone, any good A/C business would understand this and communicate with the customer) and are starting from square one with a new company. I am thankful we did not pay this company for any work. Don't wast your time or money.Look at their other reviews before you choose this company.

I appreciate Korey's professional advice and explaining to me the maintenance that my AC unit needed. He was on time and easy to communicate with. I ended up purchasing the Crispy Air's maintenance program since my AHS warranty won't cover general maintenance costs. I see other reviewers on here think it's a scam. Our A/C recently went out on a Thursday, and as we have a home warranty through American Home Shield, I called them to report the breakdown and they referred me to Crispy Air. Crispy Air called to set an appointment and told me they could come out on Saturday!! I explained that we are 73 years old, and we could not live in 110° heat for three days. I was told sorry, that is the best they could. To make it worse, the appointment window was from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. A 12 hour window! I was at their mercy because of the home warranty. The tech arrive about 5:30 p.m., and quickly determined the motor was locked up. He said they would send the claim to AHS, that coming Monday, and upon approval the repair would be made the following week. I couldn't believe it.We could not survive another three, four, or five days with no A/C, so we borrowed money from our son, and on Sunday I called Parker and Sons. They came out, put in a new motor, and had us going again the same day. On Monday, Crispy Air called and said they would have the part by Wednesday. Leaving us a minimum of seven days with no A/C.Crispy Air, had absolutely no empathy to our situation nor any concern for our health and safety.Another thing, Parker and Sons, said if they could not effect repairs the same day, they would leave portable units in our home to provide some relief.I wish I could leave zero stars.

This company is a joke!!!! My home warranty company contracted this company To do a job in return I had to do their job for them! I waited days for them to get authorization to complete the job. I had to call my home warranty stay on the phone and make sure they gave them authorization to complete the job. Authorization was given on a Friday now come wendsday they call me saying they just received authorization and had to order the part. Lies! Authorization was provided on Friday! Now I’m beyond upset as I was told the part needed to be ordered and would take days I informed the office manager I would be providing a review and reporting her. She then offered me $150 off and then said the part would bring tomorrow. Okay the tech arrived today he asked my husband which ac unit needed to be repaired. Mind you we’ve been in a hot house for over a week! It’s the techs job to know that so yes my husband is irritated and told him that’s his job to know. The tech backed up his bag and left!!! He also left my backyard gate wide open!!!! Krispy air your name is pathetic and so are your non services. I’ll be reporting your company on all platforms!!! Your service is horrible!

Record highs of 118 an AC out (Thursday) so we contacted our home warranty American Home Shield and they assigned Crispy Air. Crispy Air emails us that they can’t get out here until Monday. My wife calls and Crispy says well they can get someone out here on Friday (today) but it would be an additional charge of $75. So for extra money someone’s available but if we don’t pay extra they have no techs available? I called and yes I was upset and not as nice as I shoulda been but that’s not acceptable to me. Extremely poor customer service. It would be different in my eyes if they were so busy that they had no techs to come out until Monday but that’s not the case. Plus supposedly the are a 24 hour service. Unacceptable, unprofessional and just money driven in my eyes. They are contracted through a home warranty company and get easy business and this is how the treat customers! Sad.“We accepted your work order at 6:54 this morning. Our schedule is set up the day before. We do save emergency spots for emergency situations. You have two units to your home which through your home warranty does not qualify for an emergency service. We welcome you to call your home warranty to try to find another vendor who can get out there sooner if you need service before Monday. “That’s funny because the person that answered your phone said they can get someone right out but we had to pay an additional fee! PS tell that to my dog that has bad hips and is too heavy to pick up to get to the AC that it’s not an emergency! Customer Service! All about the money!

Garret was very professional. He came on time (with 30 minute notification). He had the face mask and gloves on. He checked the AC unit outside, and quickly was able to diagnose that the capacitor in the attic is the issue. He got his ladder, put on the Shoe cover (Thank you), and accessed the attic, got the part replaced and that was it. AC started blowing cold air again. Overall experience was very positive and thanks for wearing PPE to help protect the customers and himself. High marks for professionalism. Also it was very easy to schedule.THANK YOU!!

An unfortunate coincidence happened the day of my scheduled AC maintenance (rain killed my last unit). Crispy's rep, Kenny Gibson, noticed something was wrong as soon as he walked in my house to check the thermostat. Long story short, he was able to get a crew assembled with a crane and custom fabbed ductwork within 4 hours of his initial 7am appointment. I had a brand new working unit by 2pm the same day.On top of that, Kenny provided my insurance company with a detailed statement that brought my cost down significantly.If you're looking for a hard working/friendly HVAC company, I suggest you start here.

My house was serviced by this company a few months ago. I decided to wait on my review to make sure everything was still working okay and it is. In true Arizona fashion, our A/C went out right when summer was beginning to get even hotter and we live in a 2 story so everyday the heat was rising more and more. We called our home insurance and were referred to Crispy Air, and they got us in as soon as possible! The men they sent were here until late at night trying to make sure everything was taken care of appropriately and it was. We also opted for an additional piece (unsure of the actual name) to be installed against our duct in the attic so that the air flow was better in all rooms. My room is the hottest in the house and it feels so much better. Lets face it, A/C's are expensive no matter who you are but I felt like this company was not just trying to squeeze money out of us and I they gave us a good deal. Your company's skilled air conditioning expert Nick diagnosed the problem and explained thoroughly what I needed. The next day skilled air conditioning expert Will came out and installed my part that I needed and noticed my unit rattled so he took the time to adjust my heat pump carriage using his secrets of the trade to make my unit noticeably quieter. installed new ac and furnace you could not ask for a better job. The install manger Mike was great. The reason I didn’t rate the company better is you call them them and you get an answer service who box is filled and you can’t leave a message. If you do get to leave one you may not get a response. If I have trouble with the system I may not get a response this makes me nerves.

My home warranty sent crispy ac and heating out and they quoted me stating that my compressor was broken and needed replaced and I would have to pay for 19 lbs of freon which would be 1800$. I got a second opinion and found that my system max capacity was 13.5 lbs not only that they removed my capacitors and threw them out and did not replace them. The spot was empty where they go. The second company that came out found them in my garbage and they did test bad which is fine but I do t know why he would throw them away without saying something. Long story short the compressor was fine and it just needed the capacitors that were thrown away. Not honest, tries to scam me. Not happy with them.Edit: the capacitors were thrown away and we're not replaced by you. The spot was empty where they go. You need to teach your tech to read the plate.

There’s no more serious a home problem than the AC going down in the AZ summer. My wife looked to me for answers so I called these pros. They showed up and within 15 minutes diagnosed our AC problems and solved the problem. When they left, I told my wife that I fixed the problem and she looked at me like a hero. That’s right. The technician came to my home, his name was Richard and said the unit is smaller than required and it requires to fill the freon and didn't provide any documentation and told will setup the follow-up appointment with other technician to fill it, because he didn't bring it, he came for verification only.He didn't even check the unit on attic.I called Crispy Air 5 times, each time we will send and there was no documentation provided to me and said everything on soft copies. Never sent me the work description on the email also. After asking 5 times he sent the invoice without the problem description.He told at the home he will send the technician to fill Freon, when talk to the company they told me that technician said Freon is good not required to fill. He has two voices because he didn't provide any documentationDon't trust this company this is big scam company, wasting your time and money. Shifty, shady, misleading and predators. All great words to describe this company. They tell you one thing and do another. They inflate the prices of their products to compensate for the home warranty discounts and their discounts. After comparing prices they were over $3000 HIGHER on the units they use versus comparable units. I fell victim to a bait-and-switch and price gouging scam by this company, specifically their tech Richard and service manager Brandon. They take advantage of the fact that most of us are not HVAC techs and need to rely 100% on what they are telling us. They use our lack of knowledge to their advantage and then scam you.If you have a home warranty company and this name comes up, demand someone else. The home warrant company will ALWAYS side with the companies that they are forcing us to use, ALWAYS. We have no say in who fixes our issues and most of the companies work only with home warranty companies because they know they can get away with almost anything. This time I put my foot down. Just be warned about Crispy Air and Heating.

Tech Garrett Gearheart was dispatched to help with some Tucson calls for A/C out of Mesa office by way of Maricopa (city) to me in Avra Valley then off to Green Valley. He called when he headed to me and gave estimated arrival so I had dogs penned, spaced cleared out, and met at gate to unlock and let in. He quickly took stock of situation, listening to my report and then verified situation. Checked power. Check motor and squirrel cage fan bearings. Unburied motor starting cap as likely suspect. Took readings and found an issue - replaced part. Then after unit spun up and was shown working checked Hi/Lo pressures if anything else was problem. Found it in mid range and I'm set. He put everything back together cleaned up and was done. In quick short order my unit was back on. He verified I understood and could handle if coils iced up and now I have label for Air Handler breaker circuit besides the dual 220v compressor breaker. Garrett knew his stuff and it's working in less than 30 min onsite time.:-) I happy

If you need your air fixed. This is now a recommended company. My ac unit needed to be fixed which they did in December. In Feb same issue loss of heat. The guy came and said my coolant was gone and he didnt know why. He told me he refilled it and to call back if I had the same issue. Couple days ago I had the similar issue. Brad came , said it was a valve that had a leak, a pressure test would not pick up. He said I will order the valve. Now, they are telling my WARRANTY company that I tampered with the unit, caps are missing.basically saying I'm lying and there was no issue found in feb.They have no record to confirm what I am saying. No stars..

Was sent by home warranty company. Determined that Heat pump working fine, the duct work had come loose, and the technician was unable (unwilling?) to do the work. Got a local company to come out, took their technician 20 minutes and I had cold air.

Crispy Air was very professional. They got out to me within a few short hours, diagnosed the problem, & was able to provide an immediate fix. In less than 40 minutes we are thankful, more than usual, to have a cool & comfortable house at 77° not a smoldering 92° we had to enduring today.I recommend Crispy Air. I contacted this company and spoke with Jessica, who is the CS Rep and Approval clerk. She handled my inquiry of wanting to know basic quotes for modifications and an air Handler replacement. She was very unprofessional, extremely impatient, non accommodating & rude. She got toneful with the customer when I asked to speak with her Boss, Terra. She completely refused my request, kept trying to block me from speaking with her. Kept making up excuses that there was no option to email, leave a voicemail or msg on a direct extension. This is the kind of customer service that will deter customers from ever working with you and may bring that business down. You work with American Home Shield Warranty as one of the top 3 contractors, then why does your CS clerk not know her job or to better handle customers who ask simple questions. She also hung up on me on purpose and prevented me from reaching out to a service tech or the Boss because she knows she handled me unprofessionally. The Office Manager was no different with the way she handled customers implying that her rep was not rude for hanging up on a customer on purpose. They both ought to get terminated immediately for Bad Customer Service and having No integrity for handling a retired AF Veteran in that manner. Bad for Business.I was trying to explain that I already had a svs tech come out from another company and diagnosed the problem. I knew what needed to be repaired and only needed a quote for the job. She didnt allow me to explain myself and insisted on another svs tech to come out so Id.get charged again. That alone was rude. Why should you rip a customer off for something that was done already. Please read some negative reviews down below and correct your bad Business practices because next I'm reporting you to BBB and Consumer Affairs. Thank you

Same experience as other reviews with crispy air. Ived had 9 visits with no progress. It works for a few days, they send technicians that slander each other but not before they attempt to sell me a new ac unit ofcourse. Every tech has invested no more then 30 min on the job. 3 of those visits were accompanied by a new tech training at my expense. Every tech has a senior tech title that so far has led to all this random terminology thrown at me and then offering a sale. I hope this review is read and acknowledged by the company and things are addressed for future clients.

Crispy Air left my property an hour ago. Now this is how it’s supposed to be! Even though Am. Home Shield badly fumbled early on, it did get it right at the end and selected Crispy. It’s office/dispatch staff are great; Jon was on time, patient (we weren’t on time) and solved the problem quickly. Just our luck - he didn’t have the needed part, but dispatch had Andrew just around the corner and he had the part. Within a click they went to work and that was that. Saved from a likely three days without air. Really nice people and they turned a bad day without having the A/C to a very positive experience. Thanks all.

Poor customer service and shady business practices with zero follow through. I absolutely would not recommend this company. They do not stand by their workmanship.Edit in response to response from business: I am not simply upset about the cover blowing off. 1. I would have been happy to supply the clips if I had known that this was something not supplied but was never told and the unit is on our roof, so I was not able to see that it was not placed with clips. 2. I have been trying to get in contact with your company for 2 weeks and I was continually told I would be contacted, and then today when I finally get an answer you say that there is nothing you can do. If you were to simply tell me this the first time it would have saved me a great deal of time and energy on my part. I am most upset about the lack of follow through and poor customer service on your part.

Home warranty recommended them, 8-12 window no one showed, called at 1230 said they would be there at 130 called back at 4 said we were next in line to be seen. We cancelled had an appointment we to be at. They kept making excuses. I wouldn’t work with them again as our day was wasted waiting around for repair on our air conditioning in Phoenix Az.

AHS warranty company sent out Crispy Air and Heating. Very disappointed. The technician tried to be very shady. He told me the compressor was bad, and it was but he told me that my unit held 10lbs of of coolant and it was $105 per pound. That is $950 after the AHS $10 per pound off. We found someone else to do the repair and my unit only holds 6.5lbs of coolant. If I could give zero stars I would. Shame on AHS and Crispy Air and Heating. Guess his pockets were going to be fat or at least that's what he thought. Not to mention Crispy Air wouldn't do the repair unless we had them do the coolant.

After a lot of hard work and struggling to finally get a hold of somebody through my home warranty home shield (a looking story)..... We were finally assigned to Crispy Air and heating.... Let me tell you, we are extremely thankful that our home warranty does business with a company like this these will forever be our company we use. Thanx guysUPDATE: We ended up meeting a new unit because our unit was extremely old and home warranty wanted us to pay for the coolant which was way more expensive than I could have imagined.... After a leak in one of our bedrooms, Sandy was here the next day to fix the issue. He cleaned up all the water in our attic and flushed out the clog to the outside. We have him come out to service our AC unit before summer. Our dog got out while we had a service (my husband left the gate open), and Sandy actually stopped to help look for her! Sandy is very professional and we will continue to have him come to our home for services and any future issues.

We were serviced by Nick...He was awesome. He came on time and fixed the problem. Our upstairs unit was not cooling. We bought the house in November of 2019. Come to find..the fuse was never connected!!!! Nick also replaced the capacitor...This is how.service should be..he was in and out.

Stop!! Do not use them. This is the company American Home Shield is in contract with! The scheduling was a fiasco and they showed up on the day I was moving and charged me.weeks later. The office lied about the scheduling problems. I had two properties and the second property the technician spayed water in unit and said he probably made it worse. Then he tried to sell me a $600.warranty!!! I am reporting to state on misconduct!!!!!! I assume it is not a coincidence of the low ratings. This is my first review in a negative tone. Terra, the office manager, hung up on me. I asked for owners name and she refused this information.

The first tech (Nick) who came out on Thursday was timely and professional, however, it was known at 11am that I needed a part ordered for the repair and the office didn't even get ordered until the next morning after I called and spoke to Don(?) to ask the status. The last guy didn't get here until around 5pm on Saturday and was completely rude to me. Rude to the point that he complained to me about having to drag his ladder around the corner to get on the roof as if somehow that was my fault. All this after me and my kids being left without AC in a high heat advisory for 4 days. Very unfriendly and unprofessional.

We we're gone for a period of time and had our gas turned off to avoid the monthly charge. When we returned and the gas rep came out to turn the gas on he said he couldn't turn the gas on to the furnace because of an air leak between the furnace and the concrete slab. It has been that way for 10 yrs since the furnace was replaced and the gas company was ok with it. Now we have a problem? I called home shield and they hooked us up with crispy. I explained the problem and they sent a senior technician out because the gas company was involved. The tech checked it and said it was OK, and turned the gas on.

If I could rate less than a 1, I would. Took them 4 weeks to replace my AC Compressor *because they “didn’t know” they could call my home warranty company and get immediate approval for the work.. this was last month that my home finally got done, now this month they’re already being called back here today (home warranty’s decision, of where to call, I would personally NEVER call these guys for work if I was paying them out of my pocket) so it’s been only 1 month and my AC is already out again. Additionally their customer service, phone wise, is horrible. There is a reason they don’t even have two stars.

Crispy air was contacted to assess my AC by my home warranty company after I noticed water in my secondary drain pan. So, a Crispy technician comes to my home to look at my AC unit. He notices that there is debris on my coils, removes them, and assumes that the job was done. However, it was not. So I contact my home warranty company again to get Crispy back to my house. The same technician comes again and notices that the primary pan probably needs to be changed (something he noticed the first time), the secondary pan needs to be replaced because it's beginning to rust, and there is a connector piece missing from the primary drip pan and the primary drain pipe. So he takes the measurements and orders the pieces.Crispy was supposed to contact me and let me know the status of this. However, they never did contact me. So, I called them. They told me they were having difficulties locating the pans in the sizes I needed and would call me back after they received word. They never did. So I called again and they scheduled an appointment the same week on Thursday. They called that morning and told me that the technician had an emergency and scheduled someone else for the next day. The next day, someone comes around to replace the secondary drain pan. Apparently, the first was to be replaced at another time.So, I let the technician do his thing, assuming that he would do it right since he was a senior technician. I could not have been more wrong. I assessed his work after he beat feet out of my home fairly quickly. I actually found him outside preparing to leave to get his assessment of his work. So I let him go and proceeded to the attic. I immediately noticed that the leak is still dripping but it is not entering the secondary drip pan that was just installed. Lucky for me, the technician left the old pan under the drip. So I nudge the new pan over a centimeter to catch the drip and it works. After some hours, I check on it again because I know that there is water dripping into the pan. I immediately see a pool of water in the pan that is an inch and a half at its deepest. I then assess all of the other problems1) The new secondary drip pan is flush against the support beams of the AC unit on three corners but the fourth corner is several inches lower2) This corner sits lower than the drain pipe3) The drain pipe is half an inch above the bottom of the pan4) The section of PVC pipe replaced on the secondary drain pipe is too long which forces the secondary pipe into the primary pipe, which forces the primary pipe to disconnect from the primary pan.5) The new pan is not the same dimensions as the old pan. The old pan is 60x30 in. and the new one is 64x28 in.6) This is the worst one. The water dripping into the secondary drip pan has nowhere to go except over the edge of the pan and onto my floor.This happened two days ago. I've since tried to call Crispy to get someone out here ASAP to fix this FUBAR mess and they never answered. My home warranty company has attempted to contact them and cannot no one answers. Crispy Air is open 7 days a week from 8am to 5pm. They even have an emergency number that no one is answering. I now have to go into my attic twice a day to vacuum up the water out of the pan. Already, I've almost fallen off my ladder getting the vacuum into my attic and I've pulled a muscle in my back trying to get 5 gallons of water out of my attic. If I did not catch this mistake when I did I could have had a serious water damage on my hands because of this company that would have cost me more money than I have. I sincerely hope this company reads this review so they can pull their heads from their fourth point of contact.

At the suggestion of the technician who was sent by American Home Shield, I signed up and paid by phone for their 3-year preventive maintenance agreement, which sounded like a great bargain at $250 for two visits a year for 3 years. I have not yet received paperwork of any kind from them that confirms the agreement. Perhaps it is a scam, as many other reviewers have stated, or perhaps they just have incompetent office staff. In any case, if I don't get the paperwork in the next week, I will contact the BBB, American Home Shield, and my credit card company.

We had Kodie Taylor come to our home twice regarding our furnace. First to see what what the problem was and see what parts would be needed to fix the problem, and then second, to return to fix the problem. Each time Kodie was professional and courteous and didn’t mess around. He got right to the problem, identified the problem and the parts needed to fix the problem. ZERO STARS IF I COULDBEWARE OF CRISPY AIR & AHS HOME WARRANTYDO NOT USE CRISPY AIR & HEATINGI have AHS Home warranty and they sent out Crispy Air to check out my AC. The tech came and all he did was look at the label on my unit, pulled out his cell phone and look up something on it. He pointed out that there is probably a leak by the Schrader valve and that our unit is empty of Freon and that our unit takes 23lbs of Freon which will cost around $2000 to fill. He then told us he would have to release it to find the leak then refill again for $$$. Then he went on to say that our home warranty company doesn’t cover much at all and instead went into a sales pitch of instead of spending $2000+ to try to fix it, we should spend $8000-$11000 for a brand new unit through them instead, even gave us the application for a loan. Then he went into a sales pitch of purchasing the warranty through them instead of ours.I called the home warranty and since the tech didn’t actually check anything they never submitted the paperwork to them and they told me they would have to send the company back out and charge me another service fee. Now my warranty doesn’t want to refund my money for which I paid for a service that I did not get, all I got was a con artist for a crooked company.I had another company come out check out my ac (not through my warranty), fix the problem all for around $300. He told us that the tech before was trying to con us and we explained what the man did, this tech said no there is no way a house unit takes 23lbs of Freon just no freaken way that’s a 20 ton unit that warehouses use. He also said if we weren’t with the guy from the beginning to the end he most likely release our Freon from our unit in the beginning and that is how they get you. Which my husband wasn’t with him right away he had to put our dog up. We have talked to multiple people who are dealing with this for both companies.BEWARE OF CRISPY AIR & AHS WARRANTY

Wow. I have had a lot of issues with my unit and also with the guys that come service it. This place has an amazing, caring, and knowledgeable crew. They are very nice and my unit runs better than in ever has. The prices are no where near what I usually pay either. This summer, I would recommend this company over any of them. I have a five bedroom house. EVERY ONE of the rooms are cold! In the 33 years that I have lived here in this house, that has never happened. Thanks you guys!

SCAM!!! these people are scam!! they came to my house for an A/C leak service and after couple days I see my A/C is leaking even more!!I talked to a lady, i dont know she more sounded like. robot, saying same thing five times! its like they recorded the speech in her brain.She tells me, our job is like automotive repair, we will fix your A/C now but you may get it broken again after four days and its not our fault!Is this a joke !!!You're wasting your money and time by hiring these Scammers to come to your house!Choice is yours!

I did a pre summer check up and inspection and two months later it's breaks down. They came out said they got it working. 24hrs later it breaks again. Very disappointed with the level of inspections. They replaced the broken part a week later and i had to pay for the freon that was lost during the part replacement.

SO DISAPPOINTED! Two visits in 3 weeks and A/C is still not fixed. Slow to schedule visits, and would not prioritize a 3rd visit so have to wait even more days. It's summertime and this company is a JOKE!! Don't use them! Maybe the warranty companies get a good deal by using them but the people who are stuck with this choice will suffer in some way by the POOR QUALITY work from CRISPY AIR!!

All I can say is run. The punk sent to my home to check out air duct problem. He never submitted my work order to my home warranty. I have the same problem but I asked for a break down but he emailed it to me. The warranty company shows nothing. Run They really deserve no star.

Im have a home service contract and this is who they sent to repair my unit. My split unit has been out for a month. The service guy came out said he needed to order a board and he would place an order. I was not given any paper work for what he was here for, no phone call about the order and when it was expected to be here. When I called the girl said Oh, I was meaning to call you said the part had been ordered and it would be 7 wks ! I'm in AZ with temps being in the 100s and a fan doing little if nothing to help cool. I called again now 4 weeks later. She could not give me anymore information than our first conversation nor could she give me an invoice number or date ordered which leads me to believe the order was never made. I contacted another company who came out the same day, said they could order the part and it would be here in 5 days not 7 wks !Crispy Air is not worth the time of a phone call. They are not trust worthy in my opinion. I will also be calling the BBB to report.

The tech that came out did not have the knowledge to fix the issue with a heat pump that wasn't blowing cold air. Spent hours working, said it was fixed and left. It was not fixed so he had to return the next day and again said it was fixed. It worked for the rest of the summer. But in winter we found the building was cooled down to 45 degrees because our system was blowing cold air when the thermostat requested heat. When another company came to diagnose they said the control board had been bypassed to get the A/C to work. So the tech from Crispy Air and Heating had done that without informing us, knowing the system would not work correctly in winter. Or perhaps he was not knowledgeable enough to even known what he was doing, but suffice it to say, we've had to spend hundreds of dollars in additional repairs and probably hundreds of dollars more in wasted energy on cooling a structure to 45 degrees. When called to get resolution we were repeatedly told a Manager would call us back to resolve and we never received a call back. A complaint has been filed with the ROC.

American Home Shield referred this company to me for a broken furnace on Sat. 11/10/18. (We've had no heat since Friday) First appointment scheduled for Sunday 11/11/18, no call, no show. Second appointment scheduled for Monday 11/12/18, no call, no show. When i called them on Monday @ 5:10 PM (appointment was between 1-5) they said they never heard of me. I canceled the appointment, and my American Home Shield contract and had my furnace repaired 1 hour after the call to a local company. If i could give less than 1 star, I would!!

***AVOID AT ALL COST***My A/C has been out for 2 weeks now because these guys don't know what they're doing. We're having to stay in hotels we don't really have money for, because my house won't get below 95°.They show up then leave 5 minutes later with no work done, they reschedule you days later with no option but to swelter. The time window they give is from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (a simple morning or afternoon would be nice so I know when to run errands.) When they have done repairs the unit brakes again the next day.My son and I both have neurological issues. It's 115° for at least another week. If their failed service harms our health they will have legal issues to deal with on top of shotty work.

He called and was here about an hour before I was waiting for him. He found the problem, replaced the part and he was very polite in telling me what was replaced and then he turned up the thermostat to run the furnace and told me to set the thermostat the temperature to where I want it. and then he said goodbye and departed. I thought this company would be more on the ball, but they refuse to take phone calls, and when you call its 1 to hours wait time.. I called 4 times yesterday, nothing, waiting on them to follow thru. I used them for Home Warranty company and they will not return calls. I paid $75 for them to come out and he did nothing. I knew what was wrong I told him, he agreed and then started ghosting me. I am fed up with this treatment.

These guys came it to fix a leaking drain pan on a functional AC unit, and destroyed it and dumped all the refrigerant in the process and then took the coil. I have been without AC for two weeks because of their incompetence. It worked before they arrived and it hasn't worked since their departure.Do not use this company!!!!!¡¡!!!!!!

If I could give them Zero stars I wouldDont bother with this company. Air went out Thursday they couldnt come out Friday and tell me they will be at my place between 10 and 2 on Saturday. I explained to them I needed to be at work at 2 and they promised they would send someone out early. I sat and waited with my family in 95 degree heat waiting for service. No call and no show. I tried calling to find out what was going on and no one at the office can even bother to answer the phone. Now I have had to call out of from work in hope's someone will still show up. And yet we still sit here in our home in this un bearable heat. Find another AC company and dont let your Home insurance people go with Crispy Air and Heating

BEWARE. Horrible absolutely Horrible. Worst service ever. I have been with out air for a month. They have no clue. Didn't do any work and tried to collect $$1275. Up front. Over the phone. Wanted my bank account info.

These horrible techs put the wrong capacitor on my unit, caused it to fail in the dead of summer and could have burned my house down. No idea how they are still in business.
