We had purchased a new house with a faulty HVAC unit. Tom was able to stop by to look at it the same day we found out we needed a new one. From the start, we were very happy with the professionalism, quality, and follow-up that we received when removing our old 30 year old unit and installing a new Goodman unit. The quality of customer service from Tom and his team was very professional. I would recommend Mountainside Air to anyone in the area.

As a landlord I was in a time crunch to get a new unit in. I reached out to a few different companies. Mountainside won me over with every aspect of company.
From the professional phone call in the beginning to the handshake after the installation.

A few months after the installation my a thermostat had a glitch. Tom was at my house within 1 hour to quickly fix the problem.

Professionalism, timely, efficient, knowledgeable, affordable and reliable. They will forever be my AC company.

We finally had to have our 20 year old A/C unit replaced. When I reached out to Mountainside Air they were responsive and I could tell they were concerned with getting us what we needed. Tom made the scheduling easy through the entire process and the communication about appointments and the quote were thorough. The team of technicians worked quickly to get the A/C installed and the ductwork updated. Everyone was thoughtful and courteous in my home. The new unit is so quiet and my house is much more comfortable. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase or choice of installer!

Tom was AMAZING! I called yesterday because our house was freezing cold with our new ecobee system and we didn’t know how to adjust it. He first tried to assist me over the phone and then they were able to schedule me for the very next morning for a visit. He was efficient and helpful in explaining the system and what was incorrect with our wiring. Then he was also able to waive the fee since it was a minor fix. He even let us borrow his ladder to change our air filters. They are an amazing and reliable company and I’ll only be going to them for my hvac needs.

From the initial visit to the full system replacement, the teams were professional and great to work with it. Steve and his team were at our house and ready for a full system install one day after our initial visit. The team did an amazing job and the entire process was seamless and easy. I’m a senior live alone in country 50 miles north of Phoenix.
When my ac went out I was terrified. No ac company will come this far. My son found Tom & his group. They came to me, checked my ac & told me my 20 yr old ac has died.
With in 1 hour they had a crane here to take old AC off roof & put up a new ac. Within 3 hrs I had a new working ac.
They returned next day when I called about adjusting temp.

Tom came out to offer us quotes on work that needs to be done as well as quotes for a new system. He was very upfront and went into detail explaining the way various air-conditioning systems work and what our best option would be. We haven't decided what to do yet but, we appreciated his honesty, the low pricing and we feel like we can trust Mountainside to do a great job at a fair price.

Update: We decided to replace our unit and we chose to work with Tom and Steve at Mountainside Air. They did an excellent job. They were flexible with scheduling, professional, quick, capable and most importantly, honest. They even gave us an upgraded unit because the one we purchased wasn't going to arrive in time for our scheduled install. We are glad we found a great company and highly recommend them.

A year later: While we were out of town our blower broke. We called Mountainside Air and Steve was at our house 5 minutes later to fix the problem. We trust these guys enough to give them a code to enter our home. They got right in and located the issue quickly. They hustled and found the part we need (which is nothing short of a miracle these days). Within just a few hours everything was working again. We highly recommend this company. They are excellent!

Our parents A/C was probably going, and with parents in their 80's, we couldn't have that. Called and Claire got us is the same day by noon. Tom was right on time, and was great about waiting for my sister to get there, my parents don't do well with strangers. The unit had frozen up and had many small unrepairable leaks. so gave us a quote for their unit, same day and scheduled an install for 3 days later. We are so grateful Tom and Claire were able to quickly respond in such a friendly and professional manner. We will probably sign up for the maintenance program, as it is quite reasonable. Of course our AC went down on Saturday night when it was 115 degrees out. Mountainside was very responsive. Clair who I spoke with on the phone Sunday morning was kind and understanding and they squeezed me in just a few hours later. Found and fixed the problem as they had the part on the truck. Couldn’t have been happier.

Tom at Mountainside Air came recommended to me - Very happy with the detail put into servicing both our AC Units. We are in a new house (under a year old) and I wanted them to come in and assess the work done prior to our 1 Home warranty expiring. They got a lot of dirt out of both units and let me know I don't have Flood switches on the drip pans in the attic/crawl space. Definitely recommend them.

I can't express how happy I am with their service. My a/c went out in the middle of the night. All the big a/c companies were booked out for 3 weeks. Seriously, no joke even for emergency calls. My husband's co-worker knew these guys personally. I called them and within 2 hours they were at my house. They had the part that needed replacing on their truck. When it came time to replace/upgrade our 20 year old heat pump, Tom and Steve @ Mountainside Air came highly recommended and did not disappoint. I called many companies and then I called Mountainside Air. Tom and Steve are down to earth gentlemen. They came over and were very honest, I showed them my other quotes and everything was transparent. My gut said I can trust them. My gut was RIGHT!
I am very handy, so they let me run a dedicated duct to my master bedroom to help save some money. We scheduled the install they were on time and very aware of my schedule as well. I bought them some donuts and they went to work. My wife and I left the house and about mid day they sent some text on the progress and said they were just about done. I said great see you on the follow up. They did everything in the contract and when we got home from work everything was clean and the house was cool.
I will always call Mountainside Air for any of my needs for air conditioning and will definitely tell everyone I know about them!!

came home to find my AC blowing warm air- called them at 430pm -they were on it! showed up at my house 30 minutes later- had it fixed 30 minutes after that - also they looked up my unit and found it was under warranty and utilized that to save me money - top notches and will make them my go to going forward - couldn't be more happy - thanks guys

It was a couple of years since my AC was serviced. I called up a few big guys in the valley but they were booked up for several weeks. I decided to try these guys although they were relatively new and I am so glad I did. Not only did they service my AC but they also found that the fan on my outdoor AC unit was spinning the wrong way and was sucking in air instead of blowing it out. Looks like for the past several years it was wired incorrectly. They took their time to troubleshoot the issue and eventually fixed it without asking for additional charges. They did point me to a few issues since my system is 15 years old but at no point did they push me to get anything done.
I would highly recommend these guys. They seem to know their stuff and are honest.

My air conditioner was replaced by Tom and Steve in May 2020. Their service was amazing and they are very trustworthy guys from start to
Finish. . So it has been working perfectly until a week or so ago when it was 111° Out and the temperature started climbing inside. I called and spoke with Tom and he told me they would be out there the same day to see what the issue was. He told me by 2 PM. Steve shows up at my door at Noon! He said there was a faulty switch of some kind on the unit and he quickly replaced it and it has been working perfectly ever since. Living in Arizona and having your air conditioner go out it’s probably one of the worst things but I am so thankful that I found this company from a referral because they have been nothing but professional and accommodating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! 10/10!

I called on a Friday afternoon with a broken A/C and they squeezed me in to the end of the day. The guys were completely honest and over-the-top professional and after dealing with another companies bizarre antics earlier in the day that was a particularly awesome experience. I had another company out that inspected my units and found a couple of issue items. They were trying to suck me into a 5 year service contract with waiving the costs of the repairs. On line the reviews of customers all said they had the similar experience and every year that company found more issues and more costs. I reached out to Tom with Mountainside from a friends referral. He responded immediately and did a no cost second opinion. They did the repairs that were needed (Less than what the other company had quoted) no pressure to repair or use them and no pressure to lock into any contracts. Professional, Clean, took time to explain issues and findings. Will use Mountainside from here on out.
