Technician (Aaron) was awesome. He had to climb a small fence and deal with a tree to service the unit...not to mention going into the attic when it was 105 degrees outside. He was beyond courteous and said he liked the fence and the tree because it made his job more interesting. I really can’t leave a review that’s as positive as the service I received. Chase was very professional when he arrived he was able to tell me what the issue was by just listening, he got a part from his truck and he was done in less than an hour. You can tell he really enjoys what he does.

Best HVAC company in the valley

I had a great experience with SG Mechanical.  For starters, the service technician, Patrick, that came out to inspect my unit was very friendly and explained everything in detail and in a way I was able to understand. Great customer service!!

Unfortunately, I needed a new AC unit.

Figuring it all out now.... Andy and Leah answered every question I had about AC sizes, pricing, financing in detailed and in a timely manner.  They made it seamless! Thank God!!!   That's a headache I didn't have to worry about!

Then came installation day!! Mark and Zach did an exceptional job while installing my new AC unit.  They were clean, professional, courteous and informative on every aspect of the job.  They even helped tweak one of my vents to get more airflow in a rear room!

Over all, my experience was beyond what I would have expected!  All individuals I encountered and worked with were exceptional and kind.  Thanks guys for a wonderful experience!!  God bless you all!

I'm writing this review to warn others against doing business with Howard Air. If you decide to use them, you will overpay for parts you do not need, overpay for any new system, and have to deal with deceitful techs and high pressure sales people.

At the end of April, my A/C would not turn on. After some Google searching I had a Howard Air tech come out. There ended up being a lose wire, but the tech insisted on installing a capacitor, even though the old one was still working. Since the visit and capacitor would be charges, he talked me into signing a one-year service agreement for over $430.

Well a little over two months later, the A/C stopped blowing cold air. Another tech came out, and immediately started with the sales pressure of buying a new unit. He determined it would be $1500 to fix it, but it I agreed to buy a whole new system, they would fix it for free while I waited 3 weeks for a new install. This was another red flag. I asked him to give me a copy of the diagnosis, and he said it would be emailed to me. It never was. I called the next day asking, and it was still never sent.

A few hours later, a Howard Air sales rep comes out to discuss a new system. He immediately starts trying to find unnecessary extra costs to add on. Even though the last A/C ran just fine for 20 years, he was trying to tell me the air intakes are not big enough, etc. Either way, it's not pleasant to live here in the summer without A/C. The sales person starts talking about a lot of extras I'll get, which I later found out are now required code by any installer and included regardless. He finishes up and tells me I'll have the quotes that night. He did not send the quotes until the following evening.

By this time, I had find a different company to come out. They were much more honest, $1300 less for the same system, included a variable speed blower fan, and were able to install it the next day.

After my install, I called Howard Air to cancel my service agreement (I paid for a year and used less than three months). I expected the two service calls not to be reimbursed, but of course they found all sorts of excuses not to give me any money back.

At the end of the day, it cost me a couple hundred dollars, but at least I'll never have to deal with this greedy company again.

We had to shut our water off due to a problem with our soft water tank. Their technician was able to arrive hours earlier than scheduled which was great considering we had no water. Their tech Joshua was wonderful, he was very knowledgeable and personable. He fixed our problem and gave us a good deal on some new equipment. He said if we had any problems we could just give him a call. Overall it was a great experience.

Ryan called in window he noted. Ryan arrived on time. Quickly reviewed the inspection item. Made a quick fix and on his way. Very good.

Howard Air had a cancellation, so they were able to get to our place in the morning, instead of the pm--saved some time and thank you! The two techs they sent (Walter and Daniel) were efficient and courteous. They spotted a problem, advised us what was needed and took care of it on the spot.

Very honest professionals. I have had them out two times to assess and different problems on an older AC system. They never try to upsell maintenance or unnecessary repairs. A very trustworthy company.
