Joe arrived first thing in the morning, within 90 minutes of calling my rental management company. He was very thorough trying to find the leak around our kitchen sink. He was fast, efficient, and left things clean which is always appreciated! He was very nice and professional. Thank you!

Penguin Air replaced my 4 ton AC with a new unit. The install crew was professional and cleaned up completely after the install. There was some damage to the trim at the attic entrance and Penguin sent out a carpenter in a timely manner to replace and to paint the trim.There was a communication concern regarding the SRP Rebate and Penguin Air went above and beyond to address that issue to my satisfaction.

Sergio and Ivan were our workers. They were on time, personable, and very efficient. They finished ahead of schedule and insured we understood everything before leaving. They were also very respectful of the pets which was a nice touch. I’m so tired of workers coming in and leaving doors/gates open, allowing my pets to wander off.

Brandon is an awesome dude, came and replaced air filters at our shop. My biggest gripe is the gouging of pricing desert diamond charged for being here a total of 10 minutes. Prior to this visit, We had them come and maintenance our units which I told them to bring filters (that’s maintenance, no?) the tech arrives and tells me we have to get the filters ourselves, and to call and have them back out to replace them. This irritated me that I’d have to pay another trip charge of $89, but I thought whatever. Brandon comes today and tells me it is $250 (an hour or commercial labor) to replace the filters. He was understanding of my frustration and also agreed it wasn’t fair, but he was under direct instruction. I’m not about haggling companies on price, but I think this price is extremely unfair given that we had already paid for the maintenance, as well as had to SUPPLY your company with the filters. Not cool. Hopefully someone will reach out from customer service, otherwise I may need to adjust the rating of this review.

Had to pay $65 to schedule . They then scheduled AC repair for 1 week later. In August in Arizona ? Are they nuts ???

We needed a complete re pipe
and to replace old water heater with on demand and replace sewer pipe in two bathrooms. The goettl team is a wonderful group to work with. I commend them from Braden who did all the initial check and recommendations of what we should do to John for coming over to confirm and let us know how the company works. Daniel got us a very discounted total and helped us with fast and easy financing, with the help of the big boss, and we had a team out here the next day. The teams are great, they do the work in a professional and methodical way that makes it fast and efficient. They protected all our floors and furniture, and cleaned up at the end of every workday. Overall it has been a pleasure to have these professional plumbers in our house and we are confident that everything is being done correctly. They offer a great warranty on the job and all the equipment installed. I am happy to recommend this company to anyone wether you have a huge job like ours or a smaller one, these guys do great work and stand by it. We had several other companies bid this work, but goettl was the most knowledgeable and had the best guarantees. Super happy with their work.

This company did an amazing thing for myself and my family. Our AC went out about a week before we were to have our daughter's 1st birthday party at our home. With 50+ people planned to be there, we were in a huge rush to get this fixed. Through our Home Warranty, the first two companies couldn't come out to diagnose the issue for almost a week and I was lucky to get 1st Choice Mechanical as my 3rd contractor. Mike (owner/operator) called me within the hour (after normal work hours) and came the very next morning. He was able to diagnose the issue, which turned out that then entire unit was bad and danger for leak in the attic. He was able to show pictures of the evidence of these issues to prove he was not just trying to make a sale. Him and his son were able to get the entire outside and in the attic unit installed and working by the day before the party. It's usually an unsure feeling when dealing with AC companies, but Mike really made me feel comfortable with his honesty and work ethic. This company will remain my go-to for AC issues (and other mechanical issues as well) and I will recommend them to all family and friends! Thank you for allowing us to have a nice cool home in time for the party!!!

Mark, Amy and their professional team are true gem in the crowded field of HVAC companies to choose from here in the valley. I wish I could give them 10 stars! My short view is this: do yourself a favor hire A&M IMO they simply are the best in the valley.

A&M just finished installing a new HVAC system in early January and my wife and I could not be happier with the work and American Standard products they sell. You may pay a little more for this team of professionals, but I promise you it will be money well spent!

I did a lot of research on cost (let's face it this is a major investment) and how to get the best value for our replacement HVAC system. Everything I read said that the brand you select and who installs your system is what brings the greatest value to your new HVAC. My wife and I chose A&M because we felt they had a quality brand (American Standard) and we thought they would do the best installation.

The painstaking care that A&M spent making sure that everything was perfect cannot be understated. They started the process by taking load measurements and making sure our units matched our needs. They then discussed hot spots and the current challenges we have keeping our home comfortable, and from there they built a custom plan to meet our needs. They recommended several changes to the way the builder had set up our original HVAC system.

The install team came out and spent an entire week (5-6 days w/at least 3 workers on site) installing our new A/C units and correcting the builder duct work. Aside from finding tears in our builder duct work, they worked to make the flow of air more efficient by making major changes to the original builder duct work layout, and where needed reinstalling new duct work. No detail in the install was too small to give attention to or overlooked.

If you've read this review to the end you can see that A&M has a true fan. They made me a fan of their company through their outstanding customer service, their honest hard work, painstaking attention to detail and the value they give you for work done in their pricing. When you are looking at prices on a paper it's hard to decided who to select because it seems like an HVAC company is an HVAC company and the work they do is all the same. It is clear to me now, after watching my neighbors do HVAC installs (which tops took 2 days to install), that HVAC companies are not all the same.

When our home warranty company told us it would be 9 days to get a A/C tech out I called Sun Devil! They had someone out in one day and fixed our unit within an hour. I highly recommend Sun Devil A/C and their manager Joseph Verdugo! Also, their service technician Michael was professional, kind, and courteous.

After a bad experience with another HVAC company that does a lot of TV advertising, we have been so happy to use Scottsdale Air Heating and Cooling. We received a very competitive price on our new units which were promptly installed. William, our service tech, is very professional and communicates quite well. Will definitely request him for our future maintenance work.
