I have dealt with penguin air on two occasions. First , clogged toilet . Very professional and efficient got the job done the first time. Second, I had an A/C emergency. They came out assessed the problem fixed it They also called a restoration subsidiary to come assess the damage . They came out the same time Penguin did. Very amazed how everything was handled. I can see now why Hobaica has great reviews online. Their service and professionalism is second to none, and they have a wonderful and knowledgeable staff.
First, Amer came to my house when my AC unit stopped working. He was super kind and professional. He kindly informed me that my unit was 49 years old and was a safety hazard due to bad wiring and other severe issues. He highly suggested that I replace the unit because of the age and safety issues and any repair done to it would be temporary and delaying the inevitable. He promptly put a call in to get an expert to come to my house.
Simon showed up the same day to discuss solutions to my problem. He talked about my options for what is best for me after he inspected my ducting in the attic and looked at the unit on the roof. He was a great listener for my needs and he suggested a 3 ton unit for my house and we discussed financing options. I went with a Lennox brand unit, it came with a 10 year warranty.
A few days go by and a week before installation, I received a phone call from Simon. He informed me that the unit that we agreed on was no longer in stock. He said that Hobaica, because of the situation, will upgrade me to a unit that has a better warranty for NO COST! Fantastic! It is a Daikin AC unit with a 12 year warranty, instead of 10 year for the Lennox.
For the day of installation, Giovanni and Troy show up to my house exactly when they were scheduled to. They introduce themselves and told me exactly what was going to happen during the installation. They both were very polite and answered any questions I had. Also, I have dogs that are very vocal about people they don't know. I asked them to text me when they need to enter the house to do anything and they kindly accommodated me so I could put the dogs into the backyard for them. They were very thorough about picking up after themselves and they left no trash behind, which is nice.
I highly recommend Hobaica. Thank you guys for keeping my house cool!

Technician arrived at the appointed time, explained what he was going to do, proceed to check our AC and reported no issues, except that the fins needed cleaning, and they would take care of it at the next inspection.

My first experience with this company was excellent. Hired them for routine service and to address the condensation line that was clogged. Hired them based on excellent reviews. Techs do not work on commission which I found good.

I have been using this company for several years. Absolutely the most honest I have ever seen in this kind of work. Would not even consider calling anyone else. Great bunch of people!

Very fast and efficient service. Came out the next day after I called to get my AC checked for noise and check my heating unit for winter. Came earlier than the time slot. Technician very friendly and knew what he was doing. Was very clear in explaining everything that he did. Highly recommended
