Hooper Plumbing and Air conditioning is an great example Of a place you’d never want to work. The way people view it from the outside of the company (customers) it may be a great company that takes care of you. Which it is the men that work there are professionals and handle things in a professional manner but they are under paid and definitely unappreciated. The company cuts their employees hours and also pays their highest paid tech a lot less than you would think. They do not pay their employees for driving in between jobs and their employees do not get commission off of anything they sell you. Most of the employees do not go home with more than $1000 paychecks a week which is very ridiculous for the work that they perform and the stress that comes from the office throughout the week. After working there for 6 years I decided it was time for a change and nothing I just wrote above was a lie. I have proof (in pictures) of my hours being cut after I turned my invoices in the following day. I also have every single check stub I earned over the course of 6 years and my hours Hardly ever matched up with how many I actually worked. One week I got paid $418.18 and I am a licensed plumber who had worked over 40hours that week, I went to the bosses and told them about what was happening and it was “corrected”…. Until two weeks later when My check was wrong again. And that’s when I realized they are steadily taking money from their employees and acting like the victim when they are confronted about it. So before you use this company please think about the men that work there and what they go though on a daily basis dealing with thieving bosses and more stress than you can imagine. I dealt with it for 6 years.

We used Reeves for the first time during the long freeze when our previous plumber wouldn’t even return our call. They repaired several burst pipes and replaced our tankless water heater.I will most definitely continue to use Reeves and have given their name to 2 friends who have used them. Juan was very knowledgeable, helpful, and went out of his way for us.They arrived when they said they would.

I called Dallas plumbing for an estimate to replace my water heater. They would not give me an estimate over the phone. However they did send a lovely gentleman within an hour to give me an estimate for $119 charge. My problem is with the exorbitant estimate. They wanted $3970 for a water heater replacement in the garage. Easy access. I called a competitor, got an over the phone estimate for HALF price! $1998 installed. Same brand, same thing. Same day install.

Called Jason Edwards the morning of and informed me he could be at my residence to address the plumbing issue within a few hours and provided an ETA which he was on time for. He detected the source of the problem and installed new piping to fix the leak. Fantastic job all around and he was upfront with very reasonable prices. Matthew came out in the middle of the night on a holiday weekend and promptly stopped what could have turned have been a catastrophe situation with a houseful of guests.

Atlas was recommended by my tankless water heater (Rinnai) and did a great job. The tech was very knowledgeable compared to two companies I used previously that did not resolve the issue. I will never use ARS for any services in the future. Atlas saved the day going out of their way to come out last minute on a Friday afternoon to get our hot water back working for the weekend. Check Yelp. Same story, different customer. My husband felt Scott was polite, seemed knowledgeable, and was thoughtful in answering questions. Scott explained well.However, we will not use Milestone services again. In my experience, charging to come out without deducting that fee from the service is not standard practice. I was advised of the charge when I made the appointment. My mistake was assuming that if we agreed to the service that the fee to come out would be deducted from our final cost.The cost for the service was excessive for the problem and the serviceman kept trying to sell us on unrelated work. I lack confidence in the necessity of every component of the work that was done. And I am sure the bill we paid was far above what was reasonably fair. Do yourself a favor. Keep looking to avoid regrets.The positive result is that the electrical problem is resolved despite being taken advantage of for the job.Sincerely,Mondrell Oz
