We had a leaking water pipe in our garage which leads to an outside faucet which I was convinced was leaking in or below the concrete slab. My experience with Atlas was positive from my initial conversation with Pam in the office to meeting Ryan and Kyle. They inspected the pipe and quickly discovered the leak was not in the slab but an easy fix. This is a well established, professional, and honest group who know what they are doing. I understand why my neighbors recommended Atlas Plumbing and will definitely recommend and use them in the future. Don Larsen
We had a gas line we were unable to completely turn off. We called Atlas and they responded immediately. The gentleman who arrived knew exactly what to do, did it quickly and made a very reasonable charge. We will definitely use them again.

We needed work on a bathroom faucet and aerator and the handle on hot water in one of showers. I received notifications of when the repairman was going to arrive and he was right on time. He identified the problems quickly and attempted to fix with what he had on hand. However, both problems required additional products and he indicated that he would pick up and come back tomorrow or as scheduled. He was very professional and I appreciated his explanations. Would definitely use again.

Both Mario and Foro were professional, answered all my questions and need a raise for their work. I will definitely refer Atlas for any plumbing needs. I also made a follow up call and got a quick reply from Pam- give her a raise too! :)

Eddy was friendly, punctual, professional and went right to work. Got in and out in record time and the cost was so reasonable.
Amy at the office is so helpful, and friendly even tho it was the end of the day. Top shelf experience and I highly recommend Atlas.
Gas leak detection. After a gas leak was detected and our gas was shut off I called Atlas. They arrived within an hour and began testing. The servicemen were efficient and repaired the leak without delays. They asked to stay while I called ATMOS to return and turn the gas back on so they could tell what they had done. I was very impressed. I highly recommend this company.
Mr. Foro and his Partner did an awesome job of fixing my gas pipe leak. They were professional and answered all my questions. The Receptionist was very helpful too ! Thank you Atlas !
Had some minor issues with one of our toilets in the house and one of our sinks. They came out same day to fix and even took time to explain to us what was wrong and gave us an idea as to how these problems could be fixed in the future if we wanted to do it. They were very professional and courteous and took time to really help us understand what the main drivers behind the issues were, which was way beyond what the expectation was. Thank you Atlas!

Eddie is the BEST Plummer in Dallas period!!! Love this plumbing Company. They did a total gut job , moving plumbing etc for my daughter and have done major repairs for me. Sonny the owner and Eddie I trust completely with any plumbing job!!! Thank you Atlas plumbing

Work was challenging but the technicians Ryan and Kyle were diligent in resolving the issues over the course of a few weeks. Troubleshot the problem and advised of the solution. Well coordinated and completed to my satisfaction. Kudos to Kevin for his role in completing the work. Great job all!!
Needed a Gas Line added to the kitchen. I was presented with a couple of options, and we looked at them both. The construction of the house precluded the interior extension - it would have required extensive renovation at a considerable expense. We chose the exterior route, knowing that it would involve excavation of a trench. The price was very fair, and in line with other quotes we received. I was very impressed that I received confirmation from the owner, and the work that was done was excellent. Super impressive!
Extremely satisfied. They did an amazing job of setting expectations before and during the services and definitely overdelivered. Haven't had great experiences with plumbers in the past and Atlas is absolutely now my go-to for anything.
We needed to replace the main water line to our house due to a leak and after finding the leak, discovering the water pipe used originally had been recalled in 2020. Atlas was very accommodating in scheduling someone the same day we called to come out and look at the work we had done to find the leak and give us an estimate on how much the job would be and how long it would take to complete.Eddie and his partner texted to let us know when they were on their way and were very professional and helpful. He provided options for us to consider and also gave us his recommendations. He answered our questions and provided us with contact information for a finance company before he left, when we requested it.All communication and quotes were clear and in text or email so we were able to go back easily and reference them.Atlas called back the next day to check and make sure we had received all the information we had requested and to see if we had any additional questions. I will definitely recommend Atlas Plumming to anyone looking for quality plumming services from friendly, professional individuals.
Technicians arrived on time, were very efficient with diagnosing the leak and repairing it. Both were knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely use the company again!

Atlas Plumbing & Heating installed a new condensate drain line for our air conditioner system. For the initial service visit we were lead to believe that actual work would be performed, but the two people who showed up just looked around, described possible solutions which were unacceptable to me (e.g. dump the water onto the grass), and then charged us a quotation fee to cover the cost of the visit.I discussed the work with the owner of the company and what he described to me was much more agreeable and would meet code requirements. After we agreed to the stated cost (very high!), two workers showed up and installed the new condensate line. The proposal said that the condensate line would be attached to the air conditioner, but the workers did not know how to do that (due to system-specific plumbing) so a lesser charge was agreed to, and we used our normal AC repair company to do that part. The difference we paid our AC repair company to finish the work was very similar to difference in the reduced charge. The workers were clean and tidy, and the people who did the work seemed to be very dedicated. The team leaders seemed reasonably well educated and were easy to talk to. The condensate pipe which was installed appeared to be installed as expected. After the work was done, we learned that one of our AC ducts near where the work was performed was totally destroyed. There was mention about damage to ducts at the time. Cold stinky air (almost like a sewer) blew in through the duct all night. The stinky duct is now blocked with a towel. Destruction of the duct was confirmed by our AC company, so now we need to pay an AC company to replace the duct.

Foro came out to help us with the pilot light on the hot water heater, Foro has helped us before and is always on time, very professional and provides great service. Atlas always has stellar service!
Called for water heater issues, from the start they were much more interested in selling a new one rather than working thru issues. Having the mfg. of the water heater on the line was not helpful in getting this company to be responsive. The techs sent out seemed way in over their heads for this simple task. Wasted a lot of money, and left needing to hire another company to fix their mess and issues caused. Not sure how they got Angi certified. Would not recommend.

The Atlas team is on time and professional. We continued to have a small problem on our water heater and they cam back out again to fix the problem at no charge. They have been great to work with.
These plumbers were not interested in discussing my business, much less my issues with plumbing pipes. Lately, arrogance and absurdly high esrimates have surged in the Dallas market!

The service tech was friendly and on time. The person who we dealt with in office gave us an inflated estimate, 3x more than what was discussed at visit, with no real justification or price breakdown. Unhappy and unsatisfied, did NOT use company.

I had been having issues for some time with the drain for my washing machine. It kept backing up into the kitchen and would drain very slowly from there. After the big freeze in February, it stopped draining completely. I called several other plumbers and each declined to do the job saying there are easier ways to make money. I found Atlas listed in my neighborhood magazine, and with fingers crossed, I gave them a call. Pam got me scheduled and Ryan and Alexi came out and did their best to interpret my problem into a possible solution. It wasn't easy, I'm sure. I knew what it wouldn't do and what I wanted it to do. I spoke with both Sonny and Bart and they did there best to put a proposal together. After accepting, Pam got the excavators scheduled. These guys were amazing. They got a huge hole dug and tunneled under my house in just a few hours. Next came Ben and Alexi. I wasn't sure how long it would take, but was pleasantly surprised when they were able to wrap up the majority of the work in one visit. They really know what they are doing. I can do laundry at home now as well as run the dishwasher! I haven't been able to do either since February! The excavators came back to fill the hole and we're done in less than half an hour. They carted off the extra soil too! If you have a complex job and you want it done right the first time, give these guys a call. You won't be disappointed.
We got the referral for Atlas from our next door neighbors who had recently had some plumbing issues of their own and they told us they knew Sonny Friedman, the owner, personally and highly recommended his services. That was good enough for us and we were certainly not disappointed. Daniel, the technician that came out both times was everything you would want in a service technician—thorough, careful to explain all he was doing, respectful of our home, and just very polite in all his interactions. Best of all, he pinpointed our leak to a faulty dishwasher which he took care of and when I asked if he would mind removing it and taking it out back for me, he was kindly willing to do . Every person we spoke to connected with Atlas, from the dispatcher to the workmen to the account manager was professional as well as personable. I love finding a plumbing company this competent and trustworthy and will definitely refer my friends and family members their direction. We already knew we had the best neighbors ever but their telling us about Atlas elevated them to rock star status in our estimation!!
I've used Atlas Plumbing twice now; once to repair a washer and once to repair a toilet and sink fixture. Both times I was impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work. They listened well to understand the situation, and correctly assessed the problems. They did a great job correcting the problems and are very reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again!
Arrived on time . Diagnosed the leak quickly and had the parts on board their truck and made the replacement in a few minutes. They tested the repair for leaks and made sure I was satisfied with their work.

Highly recommend using Atlas Plumbing. I had a different plumbing company come to my house and after hours they were unsuccessful in unclogging my plumbing system. They misdiagnosed my situation entirely and suggested a repair that would have cost thousands.I called Sonny at Atlas for a second opinion and he was so gracious with his time and told me step by step how to diagnose my plumbing issue and even recommended a different company for a particular part of the diagnosis. The problem was resolved by only spending a few hundred bucks.Long story short, Atlas saved me thousands of dollars by providing honest, good old fashioned customer service. They’ve got a customer for life now and will be my first call for plumbing issues in the future. Thank you!!
Ben & Ryan with Atlas Plumbing came out the same day I called. We had a outside faucet leak. Ben & Ryan fixed it right up, (at a very fair price) and we will be calling Atlas in the future. They were a pleasure to deal with!

Great company! Great service! This is my third time using Atlas Plumbing and I wouldn't trust my plumbing repairs to anyone else.I had a slab leak this time that really had me worried. But Ben from Atlas came to my house and set my mind at ease. He made sure the slab leak was fixed properly and at a great price.I highly recommend you call Atlas for any of your plumbing needs because you will get professional service from a family owned company that truly cared about its customers!
Such a great business! I had a call with Sonny and I was trying to get an estimate for a previous subs work that led to my shower leaking. Instead of taking easy money, he directed me to checking if the previous plumber took out a permit and whether it was filed with the city. It was not and now has giving me leverage to help with my dispute. I can't say many would have done the same but I will recommend this company to all my friends and family simply because they are honest. This is so hard to find these days and I will be a reoccurring customer going forward. Thank you deeply, Sonny!

Atlas's evaluation and recommendation allowed me to proceed with an inexpensive answer to my problem. They could have easily taken advantage of my lack of technical knowledge but took the opportunity to push me to the best decision.
It is unusual to share a review for a company that never actually did any work! However, I called to ask if Atlas could send someone to deal with a sewage smell coming from our master bath. Atlas had other appointments and could not get to our house until the following day. Due to the anticipated delay, Sonny gave me a tip on what I could try to mitigate the issue immediately, that would eliminate the need for him to charge for a visit and it worked!!Nice to know there are still reputable businesses out there!
Ryan and his partner did a great job putting a new water heater in our attic! This is the 3rd time I have used atlas plumbing and their plumbers and knowledgeable and do the job right! Will def use them in the future if we need to.
I needed some leak repair of a shower and called Atlas in morning explaining that i needed someone today, since leak was bad. they scheduled me for afternoon. But late in afternoon called back and said they could not make it. Since it was Friday, and they don't work weekends, and had scheduled customers on Monday, they couldn't get to me till Tuesday. Tried to reason with them, to no avail.
Atlas was the third plumbing company we brought in to find and fix the “1/2 gallon per minute” cold water leak at our home. One of the first values they brought was a willingness to set aside what others thought they had found and to start over (some at their own expense) to track down the elusive source of the problem. They willingly brought in an expect in detection from another company who finally was successful. Throughout this process, we valued the integrity of this company. They kept us up to date and involved. they treated my landscape with respect. they helped me respond to my insurance provider. Based on this experience, I would recommend Atlas to anyone.
Atlas was recommended by my tankless water heater (Rinnai) and did a great job. The tech was very knowledgeable compared to two companies I used previously that did not resolve the issue. I will never use ARS for any services in the future. Atlas saved the day going out of their way to come out last minute on a Friday afternoon to get our hot water back working for the weekend. I was lucky to call them. Thanks

Was referred to Atlas from Rinnai for my 12 year old tankless that stopped working and Eddie is the Rinnai master! Did not end up having to get a new tankless, thank goodness and only had to get a new pc board. Everyone I spoke to or worked with have been an absolute pleasure. Very kind, professional and trustworthy. Atlas will be my go-to plumbers from here on out.
This is no longer the Atlas we have known and trusted for years. Under new management they no longer honor long standing customer relationships. They surprised us with a new policy of charging for estimates (never provided)even after they failed to resolve the original problem they were called for. Great, honorable, ethical company for years, sorry to lose them as a vendor
Outstanding work. Very professional and extremely thorough. Fair, reasonable pricing. Honest and transparent. We’ve used several different plumbing companies in DFW. Atlas has diagnosed and resolved plumbing issues that other companies were unable to fix! They’re the only plumbing company we use now, and I highly recommend them.

Atlas plumbing is amazing! Where do I begin... The way they treat customers you don't get anywhere else. The service, knowledge, cleanliness was perfect. I had other plumbers out three and four times for the same problem. Atlas knew the problem within minutes and fixed it to my satisfaction. Great company, great people, family owned, will use only Atlas.

I couldn't give this review on Angie's List, so I'm giving it here. Basically, I had a toilet problem that I attempted to solve on my own and couldn't. I requested a plumber and Atlas Plumbing gave me a call. Not only did they give me extremely helpful advice during the 10 min call, but it was free.Clearly, this business is extremely professional, and they care more about doing good work than milking you for every dollar. Would recommend.
Atlas showed up on time, walked me through what they needed to do to get my job done and did it extremely quickly. The job came out perfectly. Their Customer Service person was also very good at scheduling and keeping me informed on their arrival.
They were good and very nice overall to deal with. We needed plumbing work ASAP and I talked to a lady who was very nice and she said she would have someone call me right back. I had to call them back and I talked to the owner's son. He was very nice and tell him I decided to go with Roto Rooter because I needed someone that day and could not wait however I ended calling Atlas back because the Roto Rooter guy (he was very young) could not tell me who I needed to fix my sink that had fallen. The owner's son at Atlas took the time and explain to me who I needed and gave me a recommendation. Unfortunately I ended up getting someone else to fix the sink and I called Atlas the very next day to hook up the sink and a new garbage disposal. However the part I am not the happiest with Atlas has to do with the plumber himself because when I asked him about a part in the sink if he had match to the part he said yes, but his part didn't match my sink. He was very professional and knowledgeable about plumbing. He did do a great job otherwise but I could have done a better job replacing the part to my sink by going back to Lowe's and getting the part myself. Am I happy with Atlas and their customer service? Yes for the most part but if you want parts to be matching inside your sink I suggest you buying the pieces yourself and handing it to them because they won't have it otherwise. They are very accommodating when you need someone ASAP and helpful too!!!!

They explained the issues found and offered a couple of options to resolve them. Price was reasonable. The team was professional, respectful of property, and worked quickly.
Atlas was recommended by a friend so I called them.Oliver came and did a great job completing my job quickly and efficiently and asked if I had any other plumbing issues which I had, (new flaps in the commodes) that needed to be exchanged which he completed.I recommend Atlas plumbing and will call them in future for all my plumbing needsThank you AtlasMike Jackson
my toilet knob broke and they were able to come out same day to fix it. house hold of 5 with 1 less toilet - emergency. they were quick and courteous and respected my wishes to wear masks when in my house. thank you
I have used Curtis at Atlas for years. He has left Atlas, and my first experience with their new plumber was terrible. He spent three hours looking for a leak I have in one bathroom and trying to find out why I had no water pressure in another bathroom. He found no cause or solution for either, but charged me $500., so I paid $500, and have nothing resolved. I will not be using Atlas in the future.
We sent in a few pics and had a quick chat and got an estimate the same day. 3 days later we are all done. Many hours less than what we imagined Sonny and the whole gang are great!
After getting a $16,000+ estimate of work and repairs from another plumber, I called Atlas to get a second opinion. Ben spent a significant amount of time walking through the video diagnosis performed by the first plumber and talked me through my best and worst case scenarios (all of which were much less than $16,000). His crew arrived at my house a couple hours later and began to perform repairs. After about an hour of work, the technicians had completely resolved the issue and my total bill was under $400. Needless to say, my wife and I were ecstatic with the service and professionalism demonstrated by the entire Atlas team.

This was the way they chose to fix our gas line out of the “100 ways to fix a gas line.” It looks terrible. They had no explanation as to why this was the way they chose to fix it just that all that matters is that it passes code. It doesn’t matter to them if the home owner is satisfied with the work they did nor was it discussed that it would be done this way.

They were fantastic. Tom & chris were the 2 that came gave me a quote to replace ALL my gasolines.. very reasonable on prices. Out of 9 other companies i picked them. I kinda interviewed when they came, they answered all my questions & concerns, they explained every step of the way. Got the permit very fast 1 day other comp. Said its taken up to a wk to get it! We have a 5 day old baby, they knocked softly never rang the doorbell. Understanding of my 3 big dogs, i did have to let them out couple times but they came in the house did other work. Got inspector out here quickly & called atmos (gas comp. They found leak & took my meter) 2 hours before they finished knowing it would take HRS for them to come do pressure test & approved to turn it back on. Atmos WILL NOT come in a home because of covid19 so tom & chris stayed so they could light my pilot light! They were very fast, even digging in my back yard. They did both wear masks, had hand sanitizer, cleaned the backyard all up, they did have to cut a lock off my fence replaced it at no charge, cleaned my hallway as they had to put new pipes for heater & put in a new handle to turn off hot water heater for just in case. With no extra cost.. there was no hidden cost. They were on target with the quote they gave me. I'll be using them to put ALL new water pipes in! I even had to leave them for a few hrs, with access to yard & inside my house i trusted them 110%, give them a call before you commit to another company, you wont regret it! Best experience with home repairs I've ever had

They did a good job with the install and were professional, concerned with their service. This would be 5 stars except that they had to come back to repair a gas line leak and bring drain pipes up to code. However, that being said, they were very fast to come back and correct the problem. Mistakes happen and I would definately use them again because of the level of concern. The water heater itself and install was done very well and I was impressed that the plumber took the time to replace the flex hose input and output with copper tubing without asking. They are a good company and provide great service.

Unfortunately we had a slab leak under our house, but Atlas did a great job locating and fixing the problem. They were able to fit us in quickly and did a thorough job explaining what was needed. Definitely recommend them.
Had a leak in my Rheem water heater. I looked for a plumbing co on the Rheem website and came across Atlas Plumbing. They had good reviews so I had a tech come out. The very first thing he says to me is they do not service Rheem water heaters nor do they sell them. I was charged $100 for a trip fee and an estimate fee to tell me it would cost 4K to replace the water heater. Why is your company even on the Rheem website if you do not service or sell them??? False advertising.

I have worked with Atlas Plumbing on a couple of jobs now and they have been great every time whether it was fixing a loose pipe, a stopped up drain or sink, or when my water heater burst.A few weeks ago my water heater started leaking and they had somebody come take a look the same day to stop the flow of water so that they could order and replace the water heater. After they finished the job they also cleaned up the whole job site so it was like it was good as new-Would definitley recommend Atlas for any plumbing needs
we have used Atlas multiple times. The last one was a water leak and they were booked up for 3 days! However, they promised to fit me in if they had a cancellation. And Yippee! They did within 30 minutes! Way to look after your customers! THANKS

Atlas did a fantastic job on our leak. The were very professional. They responded promptly and kept us informed. They were reasonably priced. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.
Prompt response, but poor service. I called with two very specific jobs in mind. Needed to replace a copper line that went to my dishwasher that had cracked. I specifically requested a flexible dishwasher water line be used so I wouldn’t have this problem again with the copper line. When they came, they didn’t have any dishwasher water lines and they didn’t want to ‘waste my money’ going to get one. So they replaced my broken copper line with a new copper line and gave me enough extra copper that the dishwasher doesn’t quite fit in the space anymore. The other job I requested was to handle a faucet leak in the same location. I understand that the faucet leak is inside the faucet itself so could be handled by warranty from the manufacturer, but that didn’t stop them from spending time swapping out supply lines that fed the faucet unnecessarily. Again, they ‘didn’t want me to waste money’ on something the manufacturer could fix. The result is that the faucet is now in worse shape than it was before they attempted to fix it (it now wobbles freely from its base). In the end, I felt like I wasted my money on a couple of solutions I didn’t ask for, that are in some ways improved but mostly just a disappointment. The bill was 2-3x what anyone would’ve predicted for the work I described. After complaining, I got a small discount on the labor, but not enough that I am likely to use their services again. I had a great experience with them for a few small jobs back in 2013, but I did not feel like I got the same value in 2020. They offered to come out for free for follow-up work if I got the parts needed to finish the jobs, but that is too small a consolation for my disappointment.Edited to add: the same evening I ended up having to go to Home Depot to buy a new faucet and just installed it myself (which was a major pain). The old faucet was throughly destroyed. Not their fault exactly, since it was already pretty well out of shape, but it was significantly worse after they messed with it. They suggested I could get it repaired under Moen’s lifetime warranty, but that was not useful for me since I wasn’t the original owner. I will leave the review at 2 stars because the new shut-off valves were easier to work with, but no way they were worth what I paid for them.
When I called Atlas for a problem with getting hot water to our facets, the office receptionist listened carefully and patiently to my problem, then gave me an appointment...she was SO NICE, and then Sonny, the owner, got on the phone and explained to me in detail the possible causes of our problem which 3 visits by 2 other plumbing companies over the past 2 weeks to our home had not been able to fix. With Sonny's help over the phone, I was able to follow his advice and solve our problem completely! They went out of their way to help me as if we were old friends in a small town. Who offers that kind of service these days? NOBODY but Atlas! I didn't need the appointment after all, but I will most certainly use Atlas Plumbing for ALL our future plumbing needs.
Fantastic service...very honest and straightforward advice. I had a disaster using another company and was lucky enough to find Atlas. Sonny and his team are great. They are now my first call for any plumbing needs!
We have used Atlas Plumbing for several large and small jobs including a large cast iron drain replacement and additional smaller jobs including a water heater replacement, pressure water leak in the yard, and gas line replacement. I have had nothing but great things to say about the crews that came - always very professional and did a great job each time. Sonny (owner) was very involved, answered innumerable questions, and checked in frequently with the large cast iron job. Overall, highly recommend.

Atlas plumbing is run by skillful plumbers. But so are many companies. The big difference is that the people who work for Atlas are honest, nice people. I think they are interested in the long term investment of loyal customers who know they can trust the company. Their quality work and fine work ethic makes them the only plumbers we use.
I chose Atlas due to the positive online reviews. My experience was a little different. About 3 weeks ago they came out and diagnosed a faulty gas valve in my residential water heater. During the eval they told me the water heater was 7 years old and the part was out of warranty. I pointed to the pressure relief valve and asked what they thought about that valve’s condition. Was told it was fine. I was given a verbal price of $350 to repair the gas valve. I approved the work.An hour or so later they finished the work and presented a bill for almost $600 with $375 being the price of the part. When I questioned the amount the plumber told me “the part cost more than I thought”. So I paid the bill and they left.I did some research and this gas valve can be purchased online for $125. I know they cannot but parts online, but hard to believe it costs 3Xs the online price.A week later I called Atlas hoping to get an owner or manager to discuss this bait/switch pricing. Instead of an owner they connected me back to the same plumber who came to my house who then told me I misunderstood and when he said “$350” he was only talking about the price of the part. So why did he tell me “the part cost more than I thought” to justify charging almost double what he quoted. To be fair he did offer to refund some of my money because we don’t want unhappy customers”.But the reason I am writing this I because on 9/2/19 I noticed a pencil sized stream of water coming from the pressure relief valve overflow line. Yep, the same valve I was told was okay just 2 weeks ago. A little online research shows it is recommended to test the valve annually and change it every 5 years. He knew the unit was 7 years old, AND I specifically asked about the valve. He should have recommended changing the valve while he was here. So instead of playing another $600 I repaired the faulty pressure relief valve myself. The good: the gas valve was apparently properly installed and the water is hot again. The not so good: bait/switch pricing; poor dispute resolution practices; lack of knowledge about pressure relief valve service intervals. Verdict: I will not be using Atlas in the future.

We were moving into our new House and the faucets and toilets had leaks. We decided to get a plumber rather than a Handyman to fix and, boy, were we right. We got Oliver as our plumber and we took him around the House and showed him what needed to be done. Agreed on the scope of the work and that was it. 11/2 hours later there he was job completed. It was a job well done and we are very pleased with the Quality of the Work. As I mentioned to Oliver we have found our plumbing company.
We have used Atlas 5-10 times and HIGHLY recommend them! Atlas does things right the first time AND stands behind their work. We say this from experience! We have hired a number of other plumbers and have never been nearly as satisfied.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of waiting for Atlas Plumbing to show up and then paying over double what I expected. I was originally assigned a 10-12 morning time slot, but then received 2 phone calls delaying that till 1:30 when their guys showed up. I needed them to unstop an upstairs sink drain line that 2 sinks were connected into. I suggested that the plumbers access the lines from a readily accessible sink line in a restroom. They decided they didn't like that idea and wanted to look for a stack vent to go down on the roof. After exploring that option, they decided my idea was better (about an hour later). They ended up running their auger down the main 1 1/2 sink line and said they encountered a grease buildup about 30 feet in. So an hour and a half later they presented me with a bill for $ 522. This was over double what I expected. I had been told by their dispatch that there would be a $79 trip charge and $42 charge per quarter hour. They ended up charging me the $79 trip charge, but $ 63 per quarter hour, because they had 2 guys, and a $ 25 Auger rental charge. I contacted the Owner to express my displeasure at being overcharged. Ben called me the next day basically to explain their charges. He said while they did quote me a rate for just 1 guy, he was glad they sent 2 because they needed 2 guys to carry their Auger up the stairs to the 2nd floor and would of had to come back if that guy hadn't been there. We discussed it further, but it went nowhere and now I'm out the $522 for something that shouldn't of cost over $250. On a positive note, Eddie and his helper made sure they cleaned up after themselves, which was much appreciated. I will also point out that Eddie told me that Atlas would only warranty their work for 1 day. In my conversation with Ben, he extended that to 30 days.

STAY AWAY!!! ZERO STARS!!!I chose to do business with this company because of the reviews and their A+ BBB rating. Hopefully I can spare someone else the trouble. This company and its owner are very disrespectful to the customer and have ZERO people skills.First of all they charge you $$ just to come out to your home and diagnose your problem and give you a bid. Pick a different company that will do this for FREE - there are many licenced/bonded and A+ BBB companies in the DFW that will do this for free.Secondly they bill you by the hour, not by the job. This is where they can really run up your bill. Other reputable companies will do plumbing work for a flat rate with no hidden expenses. When I first called Atlas I was impressed to speak to the owner Sonny who quoted me a price on the phone to install a new shower faucet, raise the drain up an inch, and move the valve up and over. We were doing a shower remodel. The wall was already opened up and was ready for the plumbing work to be done. We wanted the faucet installed so that we could build the wall up around it. Sonny quoted me $300-$400. When the actual plumber came out he did the work - minus raising the drain because he told me the drain didn't need to be raised mind you- he gave me a bill that was just a shade under $600.I asked him why was it so much more expensive than what Sonny had quoted me. His response was that he brought a second plumber with him so they could do the work in half the time. So I had to pay for the extra plumber's time/labor. It would have taken him twice as long if he didn't bring the second plumber so he claimed. Feeling as though I had been taken advantage of, I paid the man and decided I would never do business with Atlas plumbing again. I'd just chalk it up to a loss and move on.Once we had the new shower wall up we called a new plumber to hook the faucet up for us. He could not get it to work properly and said the faucet valve was defective and should have been tested by Atlas before they billed me. I really did not want to do business with Atlas again so I called another plumber for 2nd opinion. It was the same verdict. Defective faucet valve should have been tested by Atlas. Then, they told me how to fix my problem: remove the defective shower faucet valve and replace it with a new one that is not defective. They also recommended I call Atlas to see if they would help, considering I paid them $600 already to install this faucet. So I called Atlas to talk about the problem and see what options we could come up with. However Sonny quickly let me know in a rude way that his company was not responsible for the defective valve because I purchased it from Lowe's. He was very crass telling me that it's not his fault and he is not just going to open up his wallet and give me his money.Appalling. Is this the way you want a plumber to talk to you when you have a problem? I tried to reason with him. I said I'm not asking for any money back. He said well it certainly would not be covered by any warranty on his company's work. I said that's fine. He said he would see if he could get Curtis to come back out and look at it. I said okay sounds good and the call was ended. After thinking about how that conversation with Sonny went I became more and more unhappy. I decided to call him back to tell him I was unhappy with his response to my problem. I wanted to give him one last chance to show me he can offer an ounce of customer service. He again was rude and crass. I told him I will not do any further business with his company and to not bother sending Curtis out to my home. I also told him I would file a complaint against him with the BBB. He proceeded to call me an A@@hole and hung up on me.Now, if that sounds like the kind of customer service you would like then by all means call Atlas Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. Again, I don't want any money back from these people. Just hoping I can steer at least one customer away from them :)

As always, the people from Atlas were punctual, professional, and competent. I am always pleased with the work that they do and the manner in which they conduct themselves. I have been using Atlas' services for about 10 years and I recommend them most highly.

We needed a new toilet recently and found Atlas Plumbing on Angieslist. I discussed the situation with Sonny and indicated we had seen a Kohler toilet at Lowes we liked. We discussed various options, the cost, etc. They came out about 4-5 days later as planned and I had them install 2 new toilets. We are very satisfied with the product and the service they provided. We would recommend them to others of course.
Was told by 2 companies (Devard’s & Ben Franklin) both water tanks were toast. Called Atlas for estimate. Sonny was honest and fair. Expecting to change two water heaters, his plumbers came out, changed one tank, and were able to fix the other! They were on time and professional. Definitely an Atlas customer from now on! Thank you!
They were very efficient, and came the same day that I called! The technician, I came to find out did a lot of work for my parents, years ago. I like to know that a plumber has had that much experience!! I would highly recommend Atlas Plumbing.

Sonny and his team are the most reputable team I have ever met. I bought an Eternal Water Heater from Atlas 3-4 years ago. Ran fine for awhile but in the last year nothing but issues. Last time Grand Hall maker of the Eternal Water Heater took accountability but this time they were AWFUL. Read the internet you will see. Sonny stood up and replaced my system with one he knew was reliable at NO COST TO ME.I am so glad to know these guys and be one of their customers.
I have used Atlas before and was very pleased again. They arrived in the stated window and were able to fix things in short time. The charges were very reasonable. Great service, great job, great value.
Angel was unbelievably efficient and left the area perfectly clean.
This is the second time I used Atlas and I would recommend them to everyone.
Called Atlas Plumbing to resolve a water pressure issue. They are the best! I wanted a quick fix and thought I needed a new waterline. Sonny, the owner, walked me through process. Saved a ton of money!

Atlas Plumbing to the rescue!! My 10yr old water heater stopped working and of course the wife and the kids were not happy :( So I looked at local plumbing companies recommended in the Dallas Picks Book and found a few. I looked at each one's Google review scores and Atlas was at the top of the list. I called two other places and one said they can't do work in a townhome, and the other one said they can't give me a price without coming to my home to review the problem first. Atlas gave me a great deal with coupons, and Jeff and Ivan stopped by the next day to replace the water heater! A couple of polite and hard working guys and they did a great job! Happy wife = happy life! Thank you Atlas Plumbing!

Requested connection of gas line to grill, Atlas does not carry parts on their truck so I paid service call for very high estimate and that's all. Did it myself for $20 with help from Lowe's. I won't be using Atlas for the future project, as another contractor quoted me half of what Atlas quoted.

This is the second time I have used Atlas Plumbing. They were quite professional both times and I like the fact that they bill in 15 minute increments. The secretary that takes the appointment is also very professional and very easy to deal with.
Called a week ago to ask a question from a plumber before I make an appointment. The young lady who responded said they do not answer plumbing questions on the phone that I had to make an appointment. I understand that but what if my issue does not need a plumber. She insisted that a plumber has to come for $49 service call, then I will be charged $45 each 15min while he is at my house regardless if he works on my issue on not. I explained that I would appreciate 1 minute of any of their plumber's time to just see if my tankless water heater is condensating or non-condensating by giving him/her the model number. It was a matter of yes it is or not that model is not. After 5 minutes or so of trying to get some sense to this operator, she said I will have a plumber call when they get in.Needless to say I am still waiting. The bottom line: VERY POOR customer service. Will NEVER call them again for anything. Thank god for the competition. There are plenty of good plumber out there!

They are so helpful when you call, it's like calling a friend for advice instead of a business. They are more than willing to give you advice to fix the issue yourself. Because that was the case the first time we called them, we didn't hesitate to call them for the next issue we had. Jeffrey & Sonny were amazingly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and honest. We highly recommend them!
Always take good care of me at both of my properties. Always same day service. Prices fair.

I have to admit, after going thru 3 plumbing companies, Atlas Plumbing was the most reasonable. Atmos pulled my gas meter due to leaks under my house. Atlas came out found the problem and was able to give me an est. for repairs and items that were not up to code in the house. Even tho it was a considerable amt of money, it was well worth it considering my house could have blown up, per Atmos and Atlas. They pulled the permit, repaired everything within 5 hours, City inspector finally came out and at 8:45PM Atmos was installing my meter and lighting all my pilots. Gas is not something you can hire a shade tree plumber to handle. I'm very thankful to April, Jeffery and Sonny and the whole Atlas team for making my house safe and up to code.Beverly Cipriano
Great work, fast response, but on a business side, they do not accept AMEX so a lack of patience due to having to go through a corporate invoicing system forced me to look elsewhere. Definitely great for home/small business use, but on a grand scale where many bigger businesses utilize AMEX, you may need to look elsewhere. Let me emphasize this is not a issue with the plumbing service but with the business of not accepting a widely utilized payment form

I have now had two dealings with this company and I forgot how bad they were. Called them to fix a dishwasher and some leaky pipes. The plumber arrived and said he didnt know anything about the dishwasher, which was the most important thing. I had him fix the leak under the sink which he solved by removing the valve. Now you have to go to the water main if the faucet starts to leak (or gush). Not even sure that's up to code. He fixed the two leaky showers by replacing the gaskets. Charge was almost $400. I think he spent an hour. Then he turned on the water main and before going to work I went back upstairs where the water was gushing full-blast in the shower. Thankfully I checked as the shower curtain was partially open and hot water was already getting on the floor (carpet). Then I remembered they had come out previously and 'fixed' our water heater for $700, when they had quoted $400 - apparently the quote was just for the part. I would have replaced it for that. Stay far away from these guys.
JR was very helpful and explained everything to me. It feels good to know or explain what caused my plumbing issue. Additionally JR was kind enough to also checked my bathroom toilet leak. Awesome team! Awesome employee! Highly recommended!

Atlas Plumbing came out to install a gas cutoff valve and piping for our fireplace, and a new fire log set. They were very thorough and very professional, and handled the permit and inspection by the city.

Friendly staff, up front about their pricing. Asked if the service request was in Dallas, which i said yes. I went through the process of setting up the appointment only to find out they don't service that far south. I live in Bishops Art District. Just FYI for 'southern' Dallas folks. 3 stars for friendly conversation

Seemed to do a good job resealing a toilet, but did not take the time to test whether outside faucet still had a leak after work done on it. Will use someone different in the future as much overpriced for the value received.
Hot water heater was replaced in a timely manner; plus plumber suggested to replace cheat plastic drain faucet with brass which was done to tank and drain pan.
Called in to ask for somebody to come ovee and make an estimate on my water heater. Nobody wanted to come... Infortmation that I got ovee the phone was veey poor and when I tried to explane what problem I have and how I want it to be fixed I got this as an answer: Well I dont see it so I cant tell you anything about it (water heater). Yeah! That is why I wanted you to come over and take a look!!! Very unprofessional! Will never ever even recommend!
Atlas has served me well as I've called them two different times. They are on time and get the job done without a problem
The service call was on schedule and very efficient. He identified the problem, corrected it and we're goo to go! A very pleasant first experience with Atlas.

Replaced the float in the toilet, which I had already bought, and the flapper, which I had bought in the wrong size (but the Atlas guy had the right one in his truck). On time, done quickly.
I can't tell you what a great plumbing company this is! I had them come out to fix my disposer and within the hour it was working as if it was brand-new. Thank you Atlas Plumbing!
I have used Atlas Plumbing for over 10 years and would not use any other plumbing company. They do a great job every time.
I was quoted 70+ dollars to come to my property to access my situation. Once identified it was going to be $70ish dollars (give or take $5) per quarter hour on the job. $250 per hour of work. Seems really high to me.
