I used Mr Rooter because I had a great experience using them in the past. Sinatra Allen quickly diagnosed my problem and gave me an estimate. Fortunately, there was no change to the estimate once he was able to get access underneath my home. Sinatra took the time to answer ‘all’ of our questions and explain everything. He gave me peace of mind. As I had experienced before, I felt very safe having Sinatra in my home; he is personable, professional, trustworthy, so friendly, pleasant, happy, and everything you would want from a plumber/repairman in your home. I am very impressed with Mr Rooter’s hiring practice so far, with my experiences. Great work Sinatra!!!

Long review, but explains my reasons. First I have to say that Kevin is by far one of the most professional plumbers I’ve met in my life. He went far above and beyond what anyone could hope for. We started with what we thought was a clog that turned into a pretty extensive repair. To boot my daughters sweet 16 party was the following Saturday, and the Thanksgiving holiday mixed in. He was able to get the large repair done in time- the dig crews left the yard better than they found it, and my daughters party was not affected in any way. I’m grateful for the amazing service and will call them anytime I need anything plumbing related. I highly recommend.

Did a phenomenal job and efficient and had a wonderful personality. Very fast and reasonable pricing. No one was available to help us, but he was. Definitely requesting Mr. Matthew next time.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing had a plumber out within a reasonable time. Their tech, Pascual, did excellent work and was very courteous as well.

Hired these guys about a month ago for cleaning the clog in drain. I got charged over $500 for cleaning and within a month it’s clogging again, despite minimal usage. I called the company and they basically said there’s nothing they can do. I expected better service considering we paid so much.Wouldn’t use the service again

I needed some help with an outdoor faucet. They came out same day and it was sunday even. He did a great job and saved me from a much more expensive repair. Great people and company. Will definitely use them again on future work.

My elderly parents had an emergency hot water heater leak in their attic on a Sunday night, so I called Mr Rooter. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from Matthew who was on another call but indicated that he was assigned to us. He then asked if I tried turning off the water going into the water heater - I had because I couldn't get the valve handle to move. He gave me instructions on what to do and also provided additional direction on how to drain the water heater itself. With that, I was able to do both so the emergency was averted allowing us to wait until the next day to call on a permanent resolution. Matthew's willingness to help us, not only saved us time on preventing further leakage in the attic, but saved us a significant cost for an emergency call. I'll definitely consider Mr Rooter again in the future thanks to Matthew.

I called Mr. Rooter after 2wks of fighting with a clogged sink that would back up into our washer drain. Matthew came out showed us an outside drain that he was able to easily access and flushed our the line with their machine. Thank You!! So relieved ???

I called this company at 7:59pm last night for emergency services because I had sewage backing up from the floor drain in the first floor restroom of my business and was told that the on-call technician would call me. One hour later I called back and was told again that the technician would call me. It is 10am the next day and I still have not heard from this company. I will not recommend this company to anyone for emergency services much less standard service.

Had a clogged kitchen sink. 420 bucks to unclog. you can buy a 50 ft snake and chemicals for a 1/4 of the price. FIND SOMEONE ELSE. Tech was great though. Even though he was an hr late.

I was really pleased with Mr Gilberg work. He informed me of what needed to be done and the price. Mr Gilbert fixed everything and went over all the items he fixed. He did a great job.

I was quoted Over $1500 for replacing seals on 2 outdoor facets.ALSO if anything went wrong and they had to remove brick over $3000. NOT INCLUDING FIXING THE BRICK BACKI called because i wanted a professional. There is a difference in rip off prices like these and what the job is worth.I would only use this company in a last resort situation.such a shame.Oh well off to HomeDepo for some new tools for me.

Outstanding service very reliable on time doesn't try to up sale you like most. We have Mr. Rooter on speed dial now.

Kevin kite did a great job when he came out. He was very friendly and helpful. He was able to explain the issue I was having with my water heater and even informed me that it was from 2004.He was able to get it replaced and it was with a heater made in the USA which I really like. I will definitely be using mr rooter again. Thank you guys

I have used this company a few times and each time I’ve been treated with the utmost respect and kindness. Our technician, Ben Adams, arrived on time, was personable and professional. He diagnosed our problem quickly and got right to work fixing the problem. He explained what he was doing and was happy to answer all the other questions I asked. He cleaned up well - left our kitchen the way it was when he arrived. All is fixed and we are back in working order! Thank you, Ben, for your time and expertise! I’ll be calling Mr. Rooter in the future for any plumbing needs.

I will never use this company again. The tech that came to repair a simple hole in a pipe ended up taking 2 hours to do it. He spent most of the time sitting in his van. We couldn't figure out why he was doing that until we saw him do the repair in 10 minutes, then we knew he was exaggerating what needed to be done and to increase the bill.Also, without our asking him to, he tested the water pressure on our house and told us it was in the danger zone. He said it would be $2,300 to fix the pressure on the house and it needed to be done immediately. Our house was 2 years old at that time. We told him no, we wouldn't be doing that at this time as we have never had a problem. He warned us of problems to come if we did not.Then he insisted that he needed to come inside our house (he had been in the garage for the repair) and test every plumbing appliance in our house to see if it was in good working condition. By this point, my husband and I were so skeptical of this untrustworthy man and his claims that we did not let him in the house. My husband told him he did not need to check anything and we sent him on his way. Overall he charged us $450 to do a simple splice on a tiny pipe that took 10 minutes total. Very unprofessional and upsetting!! This is a company that only wants your money and will do anything to get it.

Mathew came out and was very professional and knowledgeable. He walked me through the process and gave options on how he could resolve the issue. Even though the repair was challenging his professionalism shined through and he was able to provide excellent service with exceptional results. I was very pleased with this experience.

This full 5 star review is for Jeff D. the dispatcher - After over dealing with 3 plumbers and has 10 calls trying to find a solution for my washer water backing up issue, Jeff took my call, he was very professional, very thoroughly explained step by step what his team would do to diagnose my water backing up issue and how they would fix the issue, he was super patient, super knowledgeable with great attitude, he answered every single questions elaborately. He definitely knows his job really well! I’m so impressed by Jeff and at first I’ve almost decided to pass after hearing a $99.50 dispatching fee, but because of Jeff, whose explanation gave me so much confidence about the work that will be taken to fix my issue, I’ve changed my mind and wanna give this company a try. Great service at a reasonable price. We had a technician come out to install a new gas plug for a gas dryer. The service worker got the job done very quickly, and answered all of our questions. Will be using them again for any future needs!

He was professional, courteous and explained our options to us fully in regards to our needed repair. In the process he also helped us know ways to care for the water heater to improve the longevity of our tank by completing annual cleaning and checking over the water heater. I would highly recommend the service and in particular Pascual.

I had a very positive experience using Mr. Rooter recently to take care of several plumbing tasks in my home all in one day. Matthew was very professional and diligent as he explained each of the issues and made the fixes/upgrades. He worked promptly and also kept the work areas reasonably tidy during and after the job was completed. Scheduling and having to make changes to an appointment were also very straightforward.

Do you think it’s professional to put off repairs a week at a time for multiple weeks on end? Won’t be using again and will be advising neighbors not to use. This had happened on more than one service repair requested, as well.

I had Patrick McConnell as our service technician. Of all the years and companies I've used plumbing services, he was the most thorough and professional of anyone I've ever used. He has incredible knowledge in many aspects of plumbing and taught me many tips on how to maintain my water heater and plumbing. I've never had such great service. He was kind, courteous and took pride in his work. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter and Patrick McConnell in particular for straightforward, honest, thorough plumbing service.

I run a general contracting company. We had a leak on a job site and all my other plumbers were tied up on job sites. I knew they were gonna be highly priced when they said they had a $160 service fee, but they ended up being 4 times as high as any other plumber. Yes, the service tech was friendly, but overall I would not recommend this company. Sounds like they’ll charge you $160 up front just to send someone out with an outrageous price. That way they never actually have to do plumbing repairs, they can just make all their money with the up front service charge.

This is my second time using Mr. Rooter and I'm very pleased with the service. They are responsive and professional and they're communicative about the service, the pricing, and will answer all questions. Our water heater broke down on us on one of the coldest days of the year. Unfortunately due to the treacherous road conditions, we weren't able to get someone on site, but their technician Ben Adams was able to help me troubleshoot it over the phone. He provided me with a quote and we were able to get it scheduled for the following day. Replacing it took some time, but it was well worth it. They did a thorough job, and explained the process throughout. Thank you Mr. Adams, Mo and Chris for your work to get us our hot showers back :)

We had a great guy, Brett come out after midnight to see why the toilets & showers were backing up. He was able to make a small hole big enough for liquid but not solid waste. Gave us a quote for a repair. It was enough to get us though til The next day. We asked our regular plumber & he said call and double check with the city. We did and it was their issue. They came out & cleared the obstruction(roots) treated the pipes and all is well in the world. Thank you Pelayo Plumbing for suggesting City of Sachse. Thank you city of Sachse for your quick work!

I felt the quote initially was steep for a service call to clean out Jack and Jill sink clog ($503) but went forward anyway. The job proved challenging for the tech which took exactly 2-hrs. Because of the difficulties he encountered to clear drain, he wanted to charge me more for use of camera and the 2nd hour. I mentioned he never said that. He said it would be $503 to clear clog. He agreed and we moved forward….job completed with 60-day warranty. I appreciated him doing the right thing and only charging me what he quoted.

Shower valve broke down in the evening and wouldnt shut off. Matthew Gilberg came in to our rescue. Came in late in the evening ( Thanks to 24/7 service). He was knowledgeable and very professional. Thank goodness they sent Ben!!! When he came to my home for a standard repair that been fixed by other plumbers before, Ben found the true root of the problem with a standard home inspections of our drains and why it had been a repeat issue. He was very informative and clear with the problem with our drains and the causes and the best courses of actions for repairs and maintenance. After many calls to other plumbers that only fixed the problem temporarily, Ben is now the only one I am going to call!

READ THIS REVIEW!!! Absolutely outstanding experience!! Subcontractors in my neighborhood destroyed my main sewer line while laying fiber optic lines for AT&T on a Friday and DIDN'T TELL ME! I had sewage coming up through drains by late Sunday evening. I contacted Mr. Rooter who immediately sent their technician, Bryan Lee, out to my home ASAP. Let me just say, that he was amazing. He worked until 2 am or so the first night and returned the next 2 days to continue working (with a great attitude) in 100 degree Texas heat. He diagnosed the problem, alerted me to other issues that I absolutely need to address before selling my home, took pictures of all of the damage, and he even hunted down the workers working in my neighborhood to discuss the issue on my behalf and obtained the information I would need to file a claim. Mr. Lee was the very definition of Above and Beyond!! My family and I were so grateful and I felt very well informed about pricing and the process for repairs. A major issue was handled perfectly and made the whole experience virtually stress free. Thanks Mr. Rooter and a big thanks to Bryan!

Matthew was awesome. Honest, to the point, and it was a simple repair on part of it and he could have taken advantage of me but didn’t do that. Helped me and saved me some money. Would definitely recommend him and will use him again.

We had an issue with our main pipe that connects to the City's. The plumber came out and was very helpful. The problem is that the Plumber used a device to capture footage of where the issue was so the city could come out and fix it, he took photos (the device also records video, this is important) and told us that the city only needs photographic proof of the issue.Well we call the city and they want Video of the issue. We don't have video since the plumber didn't feel like it was necessary. We also don't have the tool they used to capture footage. So we text the plumber and he says he had no way of knowing the city wanted video (Why did he tell us just photos were okay then?) and that we need to pay another half grand for him to come and record the video that we payed for him to get the first time.Honestly it felt very predatory since they were dealing with my elderly grandparent. We payed for them to come out and capture footage of our plumbing issue so we can show the city, they did not capture the footage correct to the City's specifications so we have to pay them again to do the same thing? Like the device captures video why not just record a video each time to cover yourself? Anyways the plumber was fine I just don't agree with how they handled our situation. If I had a business and my employee didn't give a customer the correct item/service I would take responsibility, I guess the Mr. Rooter company does not feel the same.

We called to have a hose replaced under the sink and also discovered we had to get our two way double clean outs updated, as they were very old. Luckily Anthony DeLee was assigned to our case and handled everything swiftly and professionally. We had so many questions and he answered all of them and was very patient. Would highly recommend.

Pascual came out to the house to look at 3 things. Reconnect our water purification system which was disconnected during dishwasher installation. Our hand held shower did not work when installed using a diverter attached to the pipe for our rain shower. Our contractor originally told us that the drain line under the bathroom sink for the washing machine on the other side of the wall was installed in a U' shape and would make it hard for the washer to drain. So we thought that was why the water was not turned back on at the sink or the washing machine as our contractor had left us for another job without completing ours. Pascual talked about the same thing that the drain was not right, but he would have to check behind the washer to see if there was a trap there so the U drain was unnecessary and making the washer drain slowly and back up at times which I said it was doing and further stated that I wanted it fixed right even though it had been this way since I moved in 23 years ago.During our remodel, we first had our contractor install new cutoffs under all sinks and toilets. The new cutoffs were not connected to a water supply line and the old cutoffs were still under the sink to be removed.I was told there would be no charge fixing the shower unless parts were needed. I was given an estimate for over $1000 which I agreed to for reconnecting the water purification system which took about 5 min. and putting the supply lines into the bathroom sink. I agreed to this charge thinking that even though it was high that I would now have a drain for my washing machine that worked properly. I would never have agreed to this excessive charge that did not include correcting the drain pipe.He took our $20.99 nonworking diverter (advertised as a Delta to go with our other Delta parts) with him to find a replacement. Without consulting us, he got another type for $180 to install. My final bill was over $1200 and it DID NOT include correcting the drain pipe.I would never recommend Mr. Rooter or use them again myself

I had a TERRIBLE back up on Memorial Day and called my home service warranty. Their technician came out on Thursday and could not unclog the drain. I called Mr. Rooter after they left and a service technician was out in 45 minutes!! Bryan was the technician and he was great!! He explained what he was going to do, provided an estimate, and was able to unclog the drain within the hour!! Thank you Bryan!! The dispatcher I had spoken to was also very friendly and helpful!! Will definitely call Mr. Rooter again for help with plumbing issues.

I called for someone to check out a water heater issue, which turned out to be a minor problem and quick fix. The technician was generous enough to ask if any other issues needed to be fixed while he was here so we didn’t waste our service fee. Our guest toilet would spontaneously run for a few seconds, otherwise it worked and he made the repairs to fix it. Unfortunately, the next day the toilet was leaking, which happens no big deal. We turned off the water and called the following morning to tell the office about the issue and were told that someone will be out that day to fix it and to wait for a call. I received no call and called 3 times and was told someone was on the way but would be later in the day each time. Until 5pm I received an email saying that my appointment was rescheduled to the following day. I called the office that night to express my displeasure with being told to wait around an entire day and miss work for someone to come and to have them not come. I told them my wife was staying home from work tomorrow so please don’t waste our time again. And they assured me someone will be there. Same thing happens the next day. No show and no call, followed by random email saying appointment moved to tomorrow. I called them and expressed how frustrated I was with the entire experience and how this is a problem they caused and they should have some urgency to come fix it and instead they made us miss two days of work and never called. I told them to cancel my appointment and I would pay for someone else to come fix their mistake because at this point it isn’t about the money, it’s about the unreliable service. The cherry on top was two days later I get another random email saying my appointment was rescheduled for the following day, now 5 days after my original request. Clearly no clue what is going on and just terrible service.

I just wanted to show some appreciation and love for Armando, who came out on his day off to ensure everything went fine with the excavation contractors, and then came out again on Sunday as follow up to ensure things were fine after all the repairs were done. He gave me updates all the way, offered to explain things, and gave clear explanations for what and why things were being done.He's a champ and (un)fortunately I'm not likely to need to see him for a while. I recommend you call him so you can do the same ❤️

Although it took over two weeks to complete this huge job, it was done in a professional manner. We had to have the complete underground pipes changes from cast iron to PVC under a slab foundation. Moe and Sinatra were exceptional in explaining to us the process. All of the fellows who worked at our location were extremely hard working young men. The only reason I am giving it a four star rating is because the company they recommended for further house restoration were not professional and we eventually went with another company for the final repairs in the garage. I would highly recommend Moe, Sinatra and their crew for any sort of plumbing needs.

Pascual did a great job leveling my toilet, replacing the wax ring, and installing all new inner parts in my tank. Very nice man and explained everything throughly before doing the job.

We had a fence company hit our gas line and needed it repaired quickly. Mr. Rooter was there quicker than any other plumber could make it and did an excellent job. Moe was extremely quick and efficient; we had an emergency on a Saturday night and Moe was extremely communicative about his ETA, no waiting around. It was the end of a long day with a fussy baby, and Moe was empathetic enough to take extra care to be quiet. He had to use a torch and our son still didn't wake up once. He is personable as well, I felt like I had a friend over helping me out. Do yourselves a favor and ask for Moe the next time you call Mr. ROOTER (as you should, Moe's quality of work was stellar). AND GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE/PROMOTION. Mr. Rooter couldn't ask for a better ambassador for their brand.

I called because AC condensate caused a clog in my dual vanity bathroom sinks. Clint arrived in less than an hour. He had all the proper tools to complete the job, and was very knowledgeable and courteous. The price was fair. I highly recommend.

Clint was fantastic! He was able to come within an hour of me calling in for an appointment. He fixed my plumbing issue in a very timely manner and was very polite and cleaned up after himself. If I have plumbing issues in the future I will definitely be requesting him.

I called several companies to come out last night because my tub faucet would not turn off. When I contacted Mr. Rooter they took my information and within 10 minutes a service tech Matthew G. called me back and said he had just finished a job and would head my way in 30. He showed up promptly and was very pleasant to speak to. I can say when you think of a plumber, you don't think of one showing up looking so Dapper. He shut my water off, repaired my tub faucet, turned water back on without issue. Great tech! Great fast service! Would highly recommend and will use in the future as needed!

We needed a new kitchen faucet installed and called Mr Rooter at 9am in the morning, by 3:30pm same day we had our beautiful new faucet all installed. Jeff was our technician and we could not have been happier. He went over pricing before starting work and did a good job explaining the process and why the cost was what it was. Jeff was professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Jeff was VERY conscious of social distancing, he wore a mask and changed his gloves twice during the process - PERFECT!!! Next time we have a plumbing need, we'll definitely be asking if we can have Jeff as our guy. Not cheap but a great job, a good guarantee and great service.

We couldn’t have been more impressed with Master Plumber Jeff. We had two plumbing issues within a week and were put on the schedule quickly each time. Patrick and Argjent came out on very short notice to fix a water leak in our master bathroom and were fantastic to work with. They were very knowledgeable and polite, and spent hours finding and fixing the source of our leak. The leak ended up being the builder’s fault, but they made sure I knew what was going on and that I had pictures of the entire process for warranty claims. These guys were great, and we highly recommend Mr. Rooter!

My tech was George and man was he great! It was about 3 am in the morning and my problem was to the point I couldn't wait anymore. We had a problem with a water line that ran under the house and was causing our toilets to back up. It had happened in the past and cost us a lot of money to have repairs done. We had tried several different plumbers before and none of them actually fixed the problem. They would just basically put a Band-Aid on it and leave as fast as they could. Then we found Mr. Rooter. I cannot recommend this company high enough! They were courteous, professional, and went above and beyond to correct our problem. My dad is elderly and sadly people have tried to scam him before but Mr. Rooter stayed true to their estimate. They even rehung our shower curtain and was very mindful not to let our dog out the door! They would not leave until our problem was solved and we are so thankful to have found them! I woke up on Tuesday (10/29) with water leaking from two spots in the middle of my ceiling, onto my downstairs floor and couch. Panicked to say the least! My neighbor in the Town-home community had fortunately just used Mr. Rooter and service technician Moises (Moses) earlier that morning with great satisfaction.My neighbor gave me the cell phone number of Moises, (Moses), withMr Rooter, and Moises returned my call so very promptly, and scheduled a visit to investigate and diagnose the source of the leak within a few hours of the call. I was truly impressed with Moises's quick response, professional demeanor, and thoroughness with investigating and fixing my copper pipe ceiling leak.The next morning, Moises, Armando and Marcus came back to replace roughly ten or more ceiling copper pipe joints that were old and in need of replacement/repair, as my town-home is 35+ years old.Moises, Armando and Marcus were exemplary in every way.They were timely, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and kept me informed of the work that was being done. I could not be more satisfied, and their work was a wonderful combination of craftsmanship and artistry. They were even able to clear a slow moving shower drain that hadn't drained properly in years!I cannot recommend Moises, Armando and Marcus with Mr. Rooter enough! I don't usually write reviews and this one is about a month late. However, Matthew was so great I have to write this review. Like lots of people here, our pipes burst during the winter storm back in February and it was just a mess. Matthew was professional, figured out the problem, and had it fixed in no time. He walked us through what he was going to do and made sure everything was clear. Thanks Matthew for being awesome, and even providing a laugh or two that made this whole winter storm experience much less stressful! I know I will definitely call Mr. Rooter again if I have any plumbing issues in the future.

Brian was quick, very professional, and kind. My parents have been having consistent issues with one of our toilets, and he unclogged it. He provided clear instructions for what to do next if we encounter any more issues, and was quite informative.

Matthew exhibited excellent performance throughout the entire service call to clean out the stopped-up drainage system and made a good case for using the camera system to find and identify the location of the underground break in the drain pipe outside the home near the cleanout. This image confirmed that the PVC pipe had separated and let invading tree roots penetrate the drain causing the water backup in the house. It also showed the location very accurately and identified where to dig so the pipe joint can be replaced which will save many hours of unnecessary labor and expense. The only glitch was that he failed to leave me a copy of the invoice which was remedied with a call to the Mr. Rooter Dallas office. I would use Mr. Rooter again, request Matthew by name, and wholeheartedly recommend this company for plumbing issues to anyone.

Argent and Moe came out on a Sunday afternoon when we had an emergency back up at the sewer line - after we had already called several other people that could not make it. He unclogged the sewer within minutes of being here. Ran the camera and found the issue in less that 30 minutes. They provided a quick estimate, provided diggers, ran a new sewer line and had city inspection in a matter of a couple of days. We are very pleased with their professionalism and their timely service. And their work was fantastic! Definitely recommend!!

Highly recommend Mr. Rooter for any plumbing needs. They answered the phone quickly (did not have to sit through a call tree or pre-recordings). They sent a team of technicians promptly (within 1 hr of my call). Armando and Marcus were awesome. They are super knowledgeable and walked me through their process. On Friday we called Mr Rooter to come and install new garbage disposal. While we thought the price we were charged was quite expensive we didn’t mind paying it because of the service we received and how timely the plumber came. After the plumber left we ran the dishwasher to notice that the overflow spout on top of sink started throwing up water. We opened it to see if there was something stuck and sure enough nothing and it was related to the garbage disposal install where the plumber had probably forgotten to punch something or unplug the hole. We have called atleast 6 times since Sat asking for them to send someone to fix it and they kept saying it’s long weekend and we will send someone. Today we called 3 times already and they keep saying we are on dispatch schedule with no time provided and it’s 6.30 with no one here. Very disappointed and went from giving a 5 star to being a very unhappy customer. If the owner is reading this please correct this problem and show us that you deserve the ratings and care about the work and warranty. We are hopeful that you will rectify this immediately. Marcus and Armando were able to get water to drain during their diagnosis. They gave me good tips on garbage disposal and drainage system. Will definitely call back if needed. Had a slow drain in a bathroom. Called Mr. Rooter, customer service was awesome, plumber was very nice. It all went downhill when he tried to convince me that I needed to replace all the cast iron under my house. That it was the only solution and would cost me a whopping $82,000. Yes you read that correctly. No I'm not exaggerating, my only option for a slow drain in one part of the house was to replace everything.The first company I called for a second opinion said it would cost less than half that amount. And they provided multiple options that would solve the current problem.I'm not saying replacing everything won't solve the problem, but I am saying that other options should have been available.

I needed a plumber and didn't know who to call. So glad I called Mr. Rooter!! They have same day service and Armando (plumber) was great!! He was very detailed, clean, and professional! Our kitchen sink was profoundly clogged, as I could not clear it with plumber's snake or water jet. The technician brought a bigger, better snake, and got things cleared out.He checked our not-at-all-new pipes and found them to be in good shape. It was a relief that he was not looking for expensive additional work.He also gave us a bio-cleaner at no charge with detailed instructions on how to get the drain cleaner still.Thank you!

We had a weekend emergency with a sewer backup in our yard. After calling 5 plumbers with NO call back, I was referred to Mr. Rooter. A LIVE PERSON answered on a Sunday night, and Armando was out first thing Monday. Unfortunately, I had to have all the pipes from my house to the city line replaced (80 year old pipes) but Armando and Marcus were the absolute BEST!! Their communication throughout the whole process was EXCEPTIONAL! Even after the city inspection was delayed because of rain, they came back the day before the rescheduled inspection to make sure there was no sitting puddles in the trenches. Throughout the process, they were very transparent in everything they were doing which set me at ease. They have a customer for life and I will recommend Armando and Marcus to anyone who asks!

Wish could I rated lower. Really overcharged me for fixing a broken pipe. I am new home owner and the tech named Ben really took advantage of that. Made everything sound more awful than it actually was. Price increase significantly too after the job was done and estimate was given. Charged me more than 3.6k for a valve box assembly and digging up less 2 feet of dirt. Then went on to tell me I have a massive root problem and try to convince me to clean out the pipes for more than 1k. Talked to other plumbers to confirm issues and prices and all came in at a much lower cost. I do not recommend at all.

Called Mr.Rooter's on Wednesday & setup an appointment for following day to diagnose the gas leak between 8am - 12 noon after providing all my details(Address, phone numbers, location details). In the conversation I asked the prices for service call & repair charges & was told it will be a free estimate & once that is approved Mr.Rooters can provide me a quote to start the job.Suddenly I get a call in the morning from Dallas, Location. I was informed that they will charge me $99 to come over $565 to detect the leak + Repair cost. I was speechless. I called again the number I called yesterday she said Service calls are free of charge.First time trying to use Mr.Rooter's & this is will be the last as well. Very disappointing. They are trying to use the situation to steel the money. If this is the same company why they said different things to the clients. Company rules should be same for any location. There are so many good one out than Rooters. PLEASE DON'T GET CAUGHT.

Mr Rooter is fast, efficient, and does great work. They've always been able to get to me quickly and their employees are friendly and helpful, as well as being skilled at their jobs. They've replaced my water heater and they've also replaced a line that broke in my yard, and I've been very satisfied both times with their work. The owner is a good guy, as well as the employees I've encountered.

Mr. Rooter was very prompt in arriving. They would have come on Thursday night, but an outdoor drip is no emergency.The cost to replace a failed outdoor faucet head was surprisingly high, although cutting and copper work were required. They fixed my problem in one try, and that's what's MOST important to me.

Matthew came out late on a Sunday night and cleared our sewer drain. He wore a mask and put on shoe covers and cleaned up after himself wherever he went. We were grateful to have someone come out so late and stay until the job was done. We will highly recommend Mr Rooter for any plumbing issues.

I called Mr. Rooter @5:30am about all of our toilets backing up. Matthew arrived promptly that morning. He discovered the main line from our house to the city sewer line was blocked. Matthew fed a heavy duty router multiple times down an access pipe outside the front door and pulled out large chunks of tree roots. Once cleared, Matthew fed a camera / sonar device down the pipe to reveal a break 25’ into the front yard @ 3’ underground. He scheduled a crew to dig down to the break point and Matthew repaired the break. We had family & friends visiting on 2 consecutive weekends and, thanks to Mr. Rooter’s timely service no one stayed in a hotel !

I wish I was able to leave 0 stars. I hired Mr. Rooter for a clog we had in our pipes. One of their technicians came out, and began tacking on different services such as pulling the toilet from the ground, cabling different lines, and running a camera (over $800 when it was all said and done, and still no functioning toilet).. Keiffer (the tech) informed me the problem was beyond our office's plumbing and into the street. His recommendation was to call the city and request concrete be ripped up due to a break in a line. With him being the expert, I took his advice and called the city, who came out and spent the entire afternoon ensuring that wasn't the root of our plumbing problem. I then hired a second plumber for a second opinion.. in a matter of 30 minutes, he FIXED it! He determined it was a simple clog in the pipes caused from baby wipes!! He also states this was something the first plumber (MR. ROOTER) should have certainly caught.I contacted Mr. Rooter to address my concerns and frustrations, as well as send them the itemized invoice from the second plumber which showed they performed the same tasks Mr. Rooter's tech performed. Their response was informing me they take ZERO responsibility for their tech not resolving the issue I paid him to resolve. Their response was simply you signed off on the services he charged you for. For this reason, we do not feel a refund is warranted.If you're going to hire this company, I HIGHLY advise you sit beside your tech, baby sit and monitor his every move and ensure you're paying for the services he claims he is performing. A complete scam Mr. Rooter is.

Matthew G. spent 2 days finding and repairing over 6 broken pipes from the freeze. He was extremely dedicated to his work and ensuring we were educated on what was going on and what needed to be done. We would definitely recommend Mr. Rooter, and specifically Matthew.

I had a leak in my ceiling and i called mr rooter to come out to take a look. Clint came by and offered wonderful service! We got it fixed that morning and he even helped clean up afterwards. I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient and friendly his service was. Highly recommend.

Marcus and Armando were great. They came out fast and made sure things were right. Our pipes backed up in our laundry room and kitchen. They were able to help us when another plumber had already come out to our house and said no. They made good recommendations and didn't pressure us to do anything beyond what is needed. Great experience with Mr. Rooter! Sinatra and the rest of the plumbers who were onsite did a great job. Sinatra was very up front with the possible charges and prepared me for an expensive fix. The old cast iron plumbing under our house was in very bad repair. The camera shots were impressive and allowed me to see the damage. Some of the pipes they took of the ground were so rotted, cracked, and broken that we had to completely replace everything under the house. On the day of the sewer back up, I called our usual plumber, who we've used for the past 20+ years. They were unable to come out until the next afternoon. I was not considered a priority. Mr. Rooter took my call that morning and came out in the next 45 minutes. I can personally recommend Sinatra, Joel, and all of the other plumbers who came out to help. The tunneling crew did an excellent job and tried very hard to do minimal damage to our yard. Great experience overall during a very trying time. Thanks again!

Today Armando and Jacob we're at my home to clear a clogged sink/disposal. They were very courteous. They had their feet covered and were wearing masks. They got the drain unclogged easily. I’m so happy to recommend using Jorge A. at Mr. Rooter based on our experience with a recent dishwasher water leak in our home. We discovered our leak after hours and weren’t sure where to turn. Jorge A. was dispatched quickly and he truly went above and beyond, staying late into the evening, working to ensure that our leak was fixed once and for all. He is a knowledgeable and kind guy that I trust with my home.

Hard freeze!!! We had a spigot freeze and burst the copper behind the brick. It flooded our walls and caused a mess. We called Mr Rooter and they were quick to respond. Clint showed up when the dispatcher promised. He was polite, personable and professional. He found the break and gave me some options based on cost. I would give them no stars if that were possible. I will never use Mr. Rooter again. They did not come when they said and they did not call to say they weren't coming. When I called the next morning they said they called and left a message. We were home waiting for them and there was no call or message. They had our address wrong. The guy that came did not have the proper tools and had to leave the job to go somewhere and pick up what he needed. We're still waiting for him to come finish. They were going to charge $130 just take the pipes off so my husband took the pipes off in less than 5 minutes to save the money. I hope when he comes he's capable of doing the job! I would not recommend them to anyone.

It’s very disappointing to hear this after having spent almost $2000 on a new water heater. Very disappointed customer over here. Rating has been changed from 5 stars to 1.

After our laundry room flooded, a service visit confirmed the washer was fine, it our washer drain that was clogged. It took the washer repair company 4 days to visit; I called Mr.Rooter the next morning and they were out that afternoon. Our tech Clint Walker was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. Will definitely call again for any future plumbing needs.

Ben Garcia was our technician and was awesome. He was very helpful in solving our plumbing issue. He really helped us to stay with in our budget. We thought we just had a clogged shower drain and it turned out we had a broken pipe. Ben was able to break through the concrete and replace the broken pipe in less than a day. We would recommend him to anyone needing a simple or complex fix.

Had a leaking pipe and called Mr. rooted and they called me back within the hour saying my tech was on his way. Our plumber, Pascula did an excellent job when he fixed the leak. He explained what the issue was and why it was leaking. He also explained what he needed to do to the wall in order to fix our leak. He was fast and cleaned up after himself. Five stars to the tech that makes this company shine bright.

Clint was one of the best technicians my wife and I have ever dealt with. On time, kept us informed and had suggestions we hadn’t thought of. We would definitely recommend him for any plumbing project you may have.

It is always a bummer when you have plumbing issues but good customer service and quality work can make the experience less miserable. We discovered a leak in our water heater and quickly called to schedule an appointment. They had a team at our house within 30 minutes. They quickly helped us turn the water off and set up our 2nd heater so it would work until the next day when they could come back and repair the two heaters. The next day Brett and his colleague returned bright and early and spent the day working hard to get our water heaters replaced. They were respectful and kept me in the loop as they worked so I knew what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they came with their own carpet booties/shoe covers. I have had other companies come and get annoyed when I have asked them to cover their shoes or remove them. Overall was a great experience considering the unfortunate circumstances. I will definitely use them again.

Let me say that the technician who came out to my house, Moises could not have been any more helpful and professional. I am in the customer service business and he is an asset to your company. He even helped with my insurance adjuster who was not the easiest to deal with and made sure the job was done right. I will be sure to call Mr. Rooter for my future plumbing needs.

Asked them to come repair leaking faucet. He asked to see water heaters although nothing was wrong with it. Gave me a sales pitch that one of them is old and they can sell me new one. And then said they can't repair the faucet because they do not do that.After he left I realized he turned off both of my water heaters! and forgot to turn them back on. Now i am sitting with no hot water in the house. And I do not know how to turn it back on. Calling them about it, but they haven't dispatched someone.

Placed an emergency call and was told someone would be sent out. No communication for several hours and I had to call back to find out my request had be rescheduled for the morning. Called in this morning and was told no one was coming. They want your credit card info upfront and will charge $99 just to come to your property.

Extremely happy with Mr. Rooter. They sent a crew out to remove iron sewer pipe and replace with pvc pipe. The crew was led by Sinatra and he did an outstanding job from start to finish. Isaac was his number one man. I can’t say enough how pleasant and accommodating these two men were. This type of work is very hard and demanding on the crew but they are hardworking individuals. I would recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone with plumbing issues.

I called Mr Rooter on a Saturday afternoon 5pm. My main sewer line was clogged. The plumber came out at the time he said he would. He worked in the dark. He snaked the line twice until the clog was removed. The price was inline if not a bit cheaper than previous plumbers (I've had this issue before with my plumbing). The plumber, Moses, was very courteous and professional! Super nice and didn't mind me watching him work while I asked questions along the way. I would recommend him and Mr Rooter again!

I have a toilet tank leakage. Needs to replace the hose, the seal at the bottom of the tank, the pump and the bolts connecting to the commode. Simple enough..I called Mr. Rooter of farmers Branch at 8am. I was told there is a minimum of $74.99. (1st clue) I was told that it will be late afternoon which was fine. At 11am, I got a call that Tech is about 30-45 minutes away. Very good!Tech came very professional with his cost list. I took him to the upstairs bathroom to show what I want done. I also told him that I may also do the same thing to the hallway bathroom.So he asked if I want to replace everything and I told him may be. Anyway, he said he’ll give me a quote on both. We stood at the kitchen counter and I was watching the number being written. I can’t read the description. The numbers are...369.92228.28240.68295.94122.34. Totaled $1255.16First thing I thought. That’s the cost of new supplies and installation. I already decidedthat I am not doing the new thing. I just want the rebuild, the term he used.Then he skipped 2 lines and began to write the description. Which I can’t read but the numbers, I saw floored me. The numbers are..936.93864.25481.36228.28. Totaled $2510.82I asked him why the hefty cost...He said it’s expensive. I said, I paid the $75 minimum service fee. So, told him, no way, I can afford these. He did more calculation and said....”if you buy your own supplies, I can installed it for $1300 and we deduct the $74.99. I said to myself. In Your Dream! You be the judge! He was very pleasant and when I closed the front door and said goodbye to the tech, I collapsed on my dining room chair. When my friend heard the front door closed, he came out and saw me sitting and asked if anything wrong. I showed him the estimate. First thing he said...That’s a rip-off! I concur!By the way, I called Home Advisor and got a plumber...plumber and a helper came fixedexactly what I said was wrong...for a FRACTION OF MR ROOTER ESTIMATE. A FRACTION!!

Armando and Marcus were great. They cake out quickly, assessed the problem, and fixed our blockage quickly when a previous plumber said we needed a new system. Highly recommend!!!

WORST ANSWERING SERVICE EVER!! Mr. Rooter uses an answering service to take their calls. I called to get service at 8:00 pm the rep told me a technician would show up tonight. I called back at 1:00 am to find out where the technician was, and then I was told by a supervisor that my initial call/request was somehow never submitted, that no more technicians were going out tonight, and that I needed to call back in the morning at 6:00 am when Mr. Rooter's office opened. I called back at 6:00 am and spoke to another supervisor who told me Mr. Rooter's office is not open till 7:00 am. I called back at 7:00 am and spoke to a rep who told me Mr. Rooter's office was going to be closed today and that they were relayed this information by Mr. Rooter at 11:00 pm last night. I asked to speak to a supervisor again and was told that she didn't know where that rep got that information, and that they would not be sending out technicians today either. This is by far the worst run around I have ever gotten, and if this is the answering service that Mr. Rooter has selected to take their calls, I DO NOT want to do business with Mr. Rooter. I will call every other plumber I can find instead of Mr. Rooter, and I will definitely be sure to NOT RECOMMEND Mr. Rooter to anyone I know or meet.

Late last night, I had a big problem with with my toilets backing up. I called the company and thankfully Jeff Martinez came to the rescue! He was professional, courteous, and was able to asses the problem and fix is late late at night. With in 20 minutes of arriving, he solved the problem and I’m so thankful it was fixed with no other issues. He even gave me some drain cleaner to use and some recommendations. Thank you again! Following this he sent a group to tunnel under the house and made all of the repairs including replacing the flange under the downstairs toilet as well as replacing the toilet at my request. We had a broken shower handle which was also causing water to leak. Abel, a Master Plumber with Mr. Rooter, is our favorite! He came out quickly, assessed the situation and offered a couple options to fix the problem. He and Damon returned with the parts and fixed our issue right away. One of Mr. Rooter’s plumber came on Thursday 21st of May 2020, for a clogged line between our washer and sink in our kitchen. On Tuesday 26th of May 2020, I realized our laminate floors were flooded. Water coming out of the wall and the floor.We called Mr. Rooter back and they came the next morning. Their plumber (the same one) gave us an estimate of $750 to open the wall, fix the leak, change the pipe. He declined responsibility, and said his manager agreed and there was nothing they could do about it. Since then, we have filed a complaint to their service, we have been calling everyday and we have yet to have spoken to a manager or an owner. This is despicable!!!Even if you do not want to take responsibility, you could call us back, talk to us and we could find an arrangement. Our floors are damaged, our living-room/kitchen area smells like mold and we have babies around!!!We had to file a claim with our insurance and we are paying out of pocket. So 0 stars for your awful and poor customer service skills.You guys are thieves and we won’t stop here!

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Dallas made an overcharged my credit card by $439.79 without my knowledge, consent or approval.I had called up Mr Rooter's customer service on August 15th for coming out and diagnose a plumbing issue at my property at 2021 Macao Pl, Plano, TX. I don't physically live at the property. I had asked on the phone about the Trip Charge fee and I was told it was $99.50. I approved the Trip Charge Fee to the person on the phone to send out technician to come out, assess the issue and recommend solution and offer quote to fix the issue. I had specifically instructed that any repairs should be done only after my explicitly approval and is contingent on the amount quoted for the repairs by the technician. My tenant reported that the plumbing technician did come out on August 15th, did some work and left. But the issue remained unresolved. I was NOT informed as to what the issue was and was NOT provided information on the quote to do the repairs either by phone or email.Few days later when I checked my credit card statement, I noticed a charge of $538.79 from Mr Rooter. I had only authorized Trip charge fee of $99.50. I did not receive any email quotes/phone calls from technician to discuss quotes for any work performed. Hence any charges above $99.50 are unauthorized and should be reversed by Mr Rooter.Recently I received mail from the business claiming that the charges are valid. I went through the documentation shared by Mr Rooter. The documentation simply clears the fact that I had scheduled a visit with Mr Rooter and they did indeed come out to assess the plumbing issue. This part was never in dispute and I have already informed that I am willing to pay $99.50 as Trip Charge fee for the visit. However the documentation also consists an Invoice with some work details. My name is not present on the invoice. The signature on the invoice is NOT my signature.This business has fraudulently charged my credit card without my authorization or signature and is now refusing to refund the unauthorized charges.

I am so glad I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing to fix a commode that was leaking water onto the floor when the toilet flushed. Moe, the technician, was great to work with. He quickly found the problem and explained a couple of options on how to fix it. Moe was quite professional and efficient. I will not hesitate to call Mr. Rooter again to help me with any future plumbing problems.

After not being impressed with Ben Franklin's service, we were referred to Mr. Rooter. Called them last night, they had Ben Garcia out the next morning (today) and fixed our problem, replaced the valve we needed replaced, diagnosed our issue and we're well on our way. We are now Mr. Rooter customers - we will call them for any plumbing issues we have and will also try to request Mr. Ben Garcia. He was professional, honest, trustworthy and thorough. Called Mr Rooter about two stopped drains and in an hour Jeffrey Martinez arrived in a Company truck with all needed tools for the job. He was polite, soft speaking and neatly dressed, with nice western boots. The clogs were total and far from clean outs. Jeffrey worked quickly and explained the situation as he fixed the problems. We will certainly call again when we next have plumbing trouble. Outstanding work. Thanks!

Had some issues with our washer drain backing up severely and we called Mr Rooter and not only did the technician Clint come out within an hour of a phone call but he was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and personable. We would definitely recommend Mr. Rooter and especially Clint personally to anyone we know!

I called Mr. Rooter with a clogged kitchen sink. Mr. Gasca was dispatched and was able to clear the clog very quickly. Having and older home, he patiently explained the situation and my options to prevent/avoid major issues, as well as taking some stupid homeowner questions. My technician, Pasquale ADAMS, was prompt, courteous and professional when he came to my residence on 08-25-2020. He explained the how the problem would be resolved and the cost. He was efficient and fixed the drain issue. The cost was exactly as quoted.I will specifically request Pasquale next time I need a plumber.

While they arrived quickly and were honest, their service people are not allowed to go onto anyone's roof, even though many clogs can only be fixed from the roof, or by digging up my yard for thousands of dollars. I was not notified of this restriction before I committed a down payment for the service call. Had I been warned, I would have looked elsewhere since the last time I had a clog, the plumber got on the roof to fix it.

I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing to check if they fixed showers and ended up with my shower fixed 2 hours (or less) later. Really appreciated the fast response.

Ben was our service technician and came out on the fly (busted water spout) and totally handled the situation fast and professionally. We had a great person come out and snake our plumbing. He was quick and knew what he was doing (what you want out of a professional). The work took a little over 3 hours (appropriate amount of time). Our issue was the bill. It was over $1400. It was not unusual work - snaked the pipes and removed the debris. $1400 seems unethical and unreasonable. We spoke with management and they were not willing to discuss. Very frustrated.

I had Mr. Rooter come out and check out my new house for any leaks. The house is older and found some mold when I was doing some revisions. I had to have a couple of minor repairs and found Mr. Rooter to be very upfront and honest about the work that needed to be done. They were also very fair with pricing. We just had a visit today after calling Mr. Rooter late this morning due to a backed up kitchen sink. A technician named Clint came to our home and was super friendly, and very helpful with fixing the problem, and pointing out other potential issues. He explained what he was doing and provided us with really helpful information!

The pipes on my washing machine burst causing major flooding and damage. Jeff came out and immediately knew what to do. He sat down with me and went over the estimate before he started the job. Called another company this morning. The other company (won’t mention their name but rhymes with moto-scooter). They had a coupon which “didn’t work at this location”. Played run around with them. So hung up and called Mr Rooter. Within the hour, had a tech here working on the problem. Within a couple of hours all work is completed with future work scheduled. Technician was friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you Mr Rooter. We will be calling you again!!

Overall, the Mr. Rooter team helped us through an extremely challenging, financially stressful, but necessary set of comprehensive repairs for our drainage/sewer system. We would recommend them to anyone with a major or minor plumbing issue.In our situation, we had a sewer backup that required replacement of our entire sewer line under our home foundation and in the yard. Jeff, Pascual, and Jorge worked together to get it all done.

Charged $600 to clear a blockage. That was ridiculous. It took 5 min for them to run the snake. They said they had to run a camera as well. They provided a $3200 total repair for the issue in the end. I was told that I could use a 25% coupon when they know we just moved in the house and didn't have access to my printer. Furthermore that coupon did not exist. I asked the plumber to be honest and he was upset and bothered. I made a huge mistake coming here. Take my advice and RUNNNN!!!!

We had a Mr. Rooter tech to come out to check our two failed but only 3 year old water heaters. After looking them over for 5 minutes, he announced that they needed to be completely replaced and for only $3,600. We paid him his $70 and showed him the door. Horizon plumbing came, found out it was just a part issue and fixed everything soup to nuts for $360.In short, we paid this guy $70 to try to upsell us for ten times the actual cost of the repair.We DO NOT recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone at anytime. It is all about quick cash - and nothing about what is best for the customer. So I am thanking them for this attempted rip-off by posting this warning to others.

Abel and David were very easy to work with today on our new water heater install. I was actually able to talk to Abel on the initial call in and he was out within an hour. My fiancé is an engineer and extremely well versed in all things technicals/electrical/plumbing regarding our house. He is often skeptical but could tell the techs knew what they were talking about. I appreciated the way the handled all our questions. We ask a lot! They were tidy, clean, thorough, efficient and highly skilled. We appreciate that we weren't dead in the water for very long!

Had a clog in a double sink bathroom. Called MrRooter since my last interaction was positive. Argjent Lena arrived and immediately removed his shoes. He quickly diagnosed the problem and resolved the issue. Very professional. Additionally he cleaned the area after ensuring there was no longer an issue. I will definitely call MrRooter for any future plumbing issues.

Called because of a leak in an upstairs tub/shower that had leaked to the second floor. The rep. showed up, took a tour of my home. Went outside droning on about vents in my front yard that were unrelated to the problem failed to address the leak in any way, shape, or form. Didn't know how to turn off the water. Charged me $99.50 for the tour. Scheduled a visit for the next day and an remediation visit. Failed to appear the following day. His failure to appear was probably a gift to me.

Horrible Experience. At first, the interaction with the technician was great, anyone could tell very quickly from having a conversation with him, that he was very knowledgable. I was dealing with a broken sewage pipe under a new patio I had just finished building and I knew that repairing this was going to be tricky. The Mr Rooter technician suggested that we cut a 3x3 space in the newly poured concrete so that he could get under the patio to do a spot repair. This technician first quoted me $3,900 to have the concrete cut, the hole dug and the spot repair completed. For all of that work, that price actually seemed to be fair. Since this was a very important matter (until this was to be fixed, we couldn't use two of our full bathrooms) I decided to make the deposit of just over $1,000 so we could get the work scheduled, this is what I was told we had to do in order to get a project started. Before beginning, I wanted to speak with my patio contractor to make sure everything would be okay. She was afraid that if we were to do that, some support might give out as there was a stone fire pit about 6 feet long right above where the spot fix needed to happen. After exploring other options of how to get around having to cut the concrete, we decided that it was really the only logical path to go down. This is where the issues and dishonesty of the company began to come alive.Once I notified the technician that we would like to take the offer and began on the agreed upon project, he said he would have to now come back out and re-estimate the work. Very strange, right? When he shows up, he now says the work will not be $3,900 but, it will be closer to the mid $5,000 range. Keep in mind, at this point nothing has changed. This was very unsettling for multiple reasons, 1. This was clearly a rip-off tactic, 2. I had my contractor agree to cut the concrete for me, out of the $3,900 estimate I was given, this was a $1,099 line item cost. 3. They already had my over $1,000 deposit that I could not get back even though they hiked up the estimate substantially. But wait, It gets worse.Once the diggers show up, they don't bring enough tarp to fully secure the patio area and they leave dirt and filth everywhere. That didn't bother me all that much. What bothered me is when they were scraping their shovels recklessly to fill the hole back in, they were dragging their shovels against new stone stairs, scratching them up very badly and causing damage (all because they did not put tarp down). When I confronted them and the Mr Rooter technician about it, the Mr Rooter technician became very defensive and argumentative. He began to walk around the backyard to areas far away from where the work was being done and began saying that there are cut marks all over the stone work in other places (absolutely not true). When I disagreed with him about that, he began with very sarcastic remarks, like I cant bubble wrap the whole house. He then proceeded to tell me that he felt like me complaining about this was a slap in the face and that he's been trying to help me. I'm sorry, in case I missed something, I am paying Mr Rooter to be here, this is not volunteer work. After our bad ending to the day he went to get the paperwork for completion and then began admitting that the diggers had done wrong and apologized and said that he uses them all the time and that they have never done anything like that before. Sounds like an admission of guilt to me.. I asked multiple times to speak with a supervisor, his answer to me was that since it was late and they were gone from the office, that someone he already spoke with would be calling me first thing in the morning. That was a lie. No one called. I have followed up with their office after filing a formal complaint and I still have not received a call. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY.

Definitely recommend. Unclogged 25year buildup in kitchen line....jetted entire kitchen line...to the main...and the main all the way out to the street, and confirmed everything in perfect order once the massive clog was cleared. Ben was knowledgeable, courteous, and timely....quickly resolved the problem.

Called Mr. Rooter to snake a shower drain that was draining slowly. Tech arrived and were very polite and professional they quoted a price of $245 for a 15 min job. I asked if that included the 25 percent discount that is listed in the ad. They said his store doesn’t honor those coupons. I called the store and spoke with Tom who said they don’t honor any coupons. I asked why it was on their ad. He said it’s not on the ad. He said they are to busy to offer discounts. Basically accusing me of lying. I told the techs about the conversation and the tech asked to see the coupon which I showed him. Don’t waste your time or money with this company. If they are not going to honor coupons they shouldn’t have it on the ad they should tell people when they are scheduling the appointment that they do not offer discounts or honor any coupons.

Nathan Malone can to our home and cleaned out our main line. He came the same day that we called for a reasonable price. He did the job quickly and professionally. He had to come back to finish and he did. We are glad we called him.

I had a back up at my home that I just bought. I called this company to come out and relieve the blockage. The plumber came out and relieved the blockage but told me my pipes were broken under my home and needed replacing he quoted me $36,000 to replace. After a secondary plumber came out, not one pipe broken under my home. I gave them the video of my pipes proving against his claim. I have contacted the company and informed them of what happened.Now I have a written response from them I have had 3 other master plumbers in the mean time look at my video. All say yes I do have a belly, but my pipes are in good condition and will hold up for a few more years. Mr. Rooter stands by their plumber because they do not respect their customers enough and do not care about your pocket book. Each plumber who reviewed the video said even if every single pipe in my home was broken it would still not cost $36,000 to replace them. I put that much down on this house!! I also had the testing they referred about done to my home before closing. Also they have multiple complaints on the BBB that are just like mine. They don't even take the time to write their own replies they just copied and pasted the exact personal email I received from them as you see below.

Lindim and Mo saved the day!! They were beyond excellent and exceeded my expectations by a landslide!!! They replaced every bit of plumbing in my house and my line to the city, all while making sure I was taken care of the entire time. I cannot speak higher of Lindim, he made this very overwhelming process seem as smooth as possible and was extremely personable, honest, and knowledgeable in his field! If you have any plumbing issues I more than highly recommend these guys the are great!!

Late Saturday afternoon, Labor Day Weekend, my kitchen sink backed up after hosting a luncheon for 12. And, to make matters worse, my husband was out of town on his annual dove hunt. What a dilemma I was in. Sink full of dishes, and water backed up in both sinks. Help was needed. I decided to look on line and see if there might be a plumbing company that could assist me...and, I located Roto-Rooter's advertisement stating they were available 24/7. I called, got their answering service, who said they would forward my call to one of their plumbers. I was skeptical, but within forty minutes a very nice young man, Moses (Moises) Perez called, and said that he would be at my house within the hour, and he was. He did a quick assessment; discussed the his procedure, and asked me if I agreed to the plan/cost. Which I promptly agreed to, because it was both $$$ fair, and logical. Moses, was most considerate, using shoe covers, gloves, clean drop cloth, etc. After snaking my clean out valve, he even washed/cleaned up my patio. Wow, I was back in the dish washing business in about one hour. Very rarely, have I posted a review, but I was so impressed, and most appreciative of his prompt attention and professionalism I had to share. Thank you, Moses/Roto-Rooter, for saving my evening, and the rest of the holiday weekend for me! Dana C

I called at about 10am for service/repairing on a toilet. Lindim was at my door within 3 hours. He was courteous, professional and informative. He also explained things thoroughly in terms that I understood. I'd definitely call again next time I have a plumbing issue.

Frank showed up promptly for a main sewer line clog, immediately assessed the situation and told us exactly what to expect. He took care of it quickly, explained preventative measures and, potential upcoming issues we could see based on the state of our pipes, he let us see on the Camara monitor exactly what was going on and took the time to explain in detail what we were looking at. All of our toilets were backed up, the main sewer line was clogged. The plumber showed up on time on a Sunday. The person was nice and professional. He had a price book that outlined the anticipated costs.We were charged $677.72 to auger the main sewer line, video the line and locate where the clog was located.We were then told that the point where our PVC pipe connected to the city clay pipe became disconnected. We were told it would be $3,800 to repair. We were in a bit of shock as we just paid $677 and the thought of another $3,800 was too much for the day.We called another plumbing company who arrived on Monday around 10am. The new plumber repaired the sewer line for $1,300 and that it would have been $1,300 had they come on Sunday.It never feels good to feel as though you've been taken advantage of...

No need to worrier about having this team in your home during the pandemic. he arrived with a mask and never took it off. If I could give a rate of 1 out of 5 Moses would get a 6. Thank you Moses.

Very bad and expensive experience. I had a leak from my upstairs bathroom on Saturday evening. They came promptly to diagnose and fix the problem. This is where the problem started. It seemed every 15 minutes they found something new and more expensive to fix. After 2 days and $2500 later I was told that they needed to dig up my front yard and lay down new sewage piping etc..... (estimated cost $12,000). I thanked them for what they had already done and told them I would have to think about that. 10 days later the same leak happened in the same upstairs bathroom. I called and told the office and told themWhat had happened and asked about their guarantees . I was told the same tech would look at the problem and re-evaluate. I was also told that if anyone touched the work done or attempted to fix it, that would void the warranty. I went ahead and called a friend who is a contractor and had him take a look. He was furious. They put the WRONG piping in and did a shoddy job. I did NOT needed any of the extras that I was up sold. In 2 hours he managed to properly fix the mess Mr. Rooter made and replace the ill fitting parts. The whole thing cost me , including parts, $180. It took less than 2 hours to fix and that included the drive time to Home Depot and stopping on the way to get a sandwich. Would I use Mr. Rooter again? Hell No! It would be better to shut off the water and and hire a reputable company. Avoid them like Ebola!!!

Ben Garcia and his partner George Alfaro are awesome! I had a leak deep in my yard and they dug the 4 -5 foot hole to find it and repair it in this Texas summer heat! Don't use this company!!!!! I paid $205 for a clogged toilet. Nine days later, same clog. They want to charge me again to repair. No apology, only excuses that I have bad pipes....however, I've never had a problem before and rarely use that bathroom. Check them out on BBB - I've never seen a worse rated company!

Their Plumber came to my house and quoted me close to 3K to fix a busted water pipe in my front yard. I told him that I would get another quote from a different company to which he tried to give me a number to a cheaper source. Just a little unethical. So basically I got the privilege of paying a 75 dollar trip charge to get ripped off. I got the work done from another company for $650.00. I tried multiple times to call them and register my complaint. They kept blowing me off so here I am with my complaint.

Jeffrey Martinez came out very late and fixed my moms toilet for us. Jeffrey was very courteous and was able to explain everything in detail to us so that we could get the problem fixed. He had the problem fixed and everything up and running in less than 30 minutes.

I live in a house built in 1940 and my sewer lines were also original, made of cast iron and clay. I was warned a few years ago that the entire line would need to be replaced, but I decided to ride its usefulness out to the last second. Which I did, until the weekend before Christmas. My toilets wouldn't flush, so I had Mr. Rooter come out to open my lines (I've had to do this in the past due to root intrusion). Unfortunately too much of my line had collapsed and I had no choice but to replace it. I decided to use Mr. Rooter to replace my line and Moses, my technician, did a wonderful job holding my hand through the entire process and making sure the job was performed quickly, competently and to my satisfaction. We hit a few snags with rain, the holidays and waiting for the City of Dallas, but the entire job was finished by December 29 and everything is working properly. I can even run my washing machine and take a shower at the same time, something I’ve never been able to do. I would definitely recommend Mr. Rooter.

Friday a.m. we discovered a water line leak in the front yard. We called Service Line Warranties to fix it. They sent a man with a shovel, he dug a huge hole, said we would have to cut down our 30 year old plus Oak tree to repair the leak??? Roots were in the way, and still would be. Asked what we were supposed to do for water in the meantime, replied not we can do...Called Rescue Rooter Saturday, they sent Gary. He dug another huge hole by our meter. He said they wouldn't work on old Quest lines, $5187 to replace it. We told them we needed more opinions. Gary then left the huge hole, as did SLW ? Sunday a.m. Mr.Rooter sent Carlos out. He said he would repair the line! Hopefully before the rain came. We thanked him, we had been without water since Friday. Of course the rains came as he was trying to locate the leak, which he thought was directly under the tree. He should have left then, can't find water leaks in the rain...Instead Carlos brainstormed a way to setup a temporary line so we could at least have water until he could return, he did this in the pouring rain! This to me was way above and beyond, especially after dealing with the previous plumbers! I came home Monday to find Carlos had routed the line around the Oak, thus saving it. I was in shock that he would go through all of this for us. Carlos worked and dug for hours to accomplish this. Carlos you are an awesome person! If this is any indication of the employees at Mr Rooter they are greatness! They have a new and loyal customer. I have never felt the need to write a review of anything until now, but this had to be done! Carlos would take nothing for all his extra time and effort. He said he just wanted to make sure we had water and were Happy Customers. He succeeded in both! Thank you so very much Carlos! and Mr Rooter A+++++p.s. Carlos also repaired the messes the other plumbers left!

I will never call Mr. Rooter again. Our house water heater was leaking, and the guy from Mr. Rooter came and charged me $74.95, and he said it's unrepairable. He also said that I have to replace it with a new one; his estimation was $2,133.79. I called another guy from home depot, and he said the valve is loose and he resolved the problem for only $125.00. I called Mr. Rooter, and they said they would not refund me because this charge is for the coming to my house and they ignore the wrong diagnostic and the money that I paid again to home depot.

Mathew was amazing, this man got the job the job done.very professional and fixed the issue that the previous Plummer messed up.we will be using him again!1

We just had a new faucet installed by Clint. He was careful to show how it works, review the warranty, and keep everything clean. Will definitely call him again.

I called about a simple back-up/clogged toilet and shower in the main bathroom. I expected an average price of $150-200, which in my experience with plumbers is normal. Regardless of price, which it ended up being 5 times that, the technician told me there were no clean-outs located outside my home so the toilet would have to be pulled, a camera inserted to see where the clog was located and then insert the cable to remove the clog. All of these are separate costs. I trusted what they told me and agreed to all but the camera, which seemed unnecessary. The job was done (leaving a mess around the pulled toilet and scrapes on my brand new tile). Later, we discovered there is in fact a very visible clean-out pipe in the front of the house. I called Mr. Rooter to inquire why the toilet was pulled and the clean-out ignored. I received the double talk/run-around and even some belligerence from the representative. He was condescending and unhelpful to say the least. I didn't necessarily want a refund, but an explanation as to why the clean-out was not used or at least presented to me as an option. He kept up with the double-talk, disrespect and no solution. Therefore, I would recommend using anyone other than Mr. Rooter. They clearly do not care about costumer service once they have your money.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. OVERPRICED, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called M rooter after i broke a 1/2 in copper line attempting to change the hose bibb in my front yard. I turned off the water to the house and wanted to get the water turned on that night. They informed me that i would pay a 99$ emergency fee to get a tech out that night. i agreed and needed to give them my card number before they would send a tech. After the tech arrived he looked at the problem and informed me that the work could be from $300-$700 dollars but informed me it Would not be that much. I agreed to have him do the work believing him that it would not be that expensive. At the completion of the work he asked me to sign a blank invoice stating that it was late and he would send me the completed invoice first thing in the morning. Instead i received multiple phone calls saying my card was declined which did not stop them from re running my card until it went through. So i was charged $700 with no invoice or detailed bill of why it was so much. After a week of harassing them for the detailed bill. I received the invoice which charged me $653.24 for about one foot of 1/2 copper pipe. Then i noticed that that $653.24 was the total until he added a hose bib for $46.76 scratched out the total and put the new total of $700.00. After attempting to call again to find out why it was so much i was told it is what it is and that i couldn't talk to anyone else about pricing. The tech was at my home for less than 2 hours with less than $50 dollars in material. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I called this company for assistance with a plumbing issue that I’d been having. The girl who answered the phone named Mandy or Amanda, I cant quite remember her name. She was very short and unfriendly especially considering that a potential customer was looking to do business with the company who employs you. Immediately had a bad feeling if they can’t hire people who are willing to uphold the customer service aspect. After speaking with her and gathering information I chose not to hire this company.Had there have been a better experience with the people answering the phone then maybe I would’ve truly considered it. Your front line fell short in comparison to other companies. I’d look into either the office staff or call center you have employed.Hope this feedback helps when determining your staff and maybe in the future I’ll consider you but for now you won’t be my first choice or recommended choice to anyone who asks.

Clint was so amazing. We had an overflowing toilet, turns out roots had pierced the draining line. He figured out the problem, had a temporary fix in place same day (so we could take showers again), then did a full fix the next buisness day. It was fast, friendly service.

Ben Garcia was the plumber that came out to my Sanger House. Had problems getting the Denton location recalling that I even had an appointment. Got a call from the corporate office and Ben was there a hour earlier then what Denton told me they could be here. If anyone on here looking for a excellent plumber and knows what he’s doing ask for Ben Garcia. Super polite, very professional, and it felt like I knew the guy for years! Thanks again Ben for the speedy and quality work.

Maybe this will explain it !! Beware of price gouging from this company. Over a two-day period, which only amounted to around 45 minutes (if that) of actual labor we were charge $1240.58. All they did was snake a camera through a drain pipe for underground mapping purposes. No sewage, no clogs, just running a camera through an old drain pipe. The camera could only snake up to 150 feet of the drain pipe, so the technician could not go any further. At this point it was almost dark and we needed to open the area where he stopped so he could continue to snake the rest of the pipe. The technician at that time instructed us that if we needed his help once we got it open to give him a call and he would take care of us. The charge for his visit that day was $595.72 for 30 minutes of labor. The very next day we called into their call center to request the same technician to come back out. We stated then that we could not pay that price again and needed the same technician to come back out to finish the job. They said they would have the same technician give us a call since we wanted him instead of a different technician. We never received that call and they sent a different technician out which only worked 15 minutes of labor and charged us $644.86 which was more than the previous visit. Small businesses beware! This company will gouge you!!

I will be the first to say how skeptical I am of plumbers, but Ben was very knowledgeable and most of all HONEST. He recently repaired a slab leak under our house. He was able to show me where the problems were and gave us different options for repair. other plumbers that we've had in the past were not as thorough or professional. I would definitely recommend Ben from Mr. rooter plumbing!!!

I've had them out for a couple different things, faucets and clearing a line. They didn't have a problem coming out the same day I called, and they called me when someone was on the way so I could be home from work to meet them. The techs explain everything, which is great because I always ask a million questions!

I was not pleased. When the tech arrived, he stay out side and never attempted to come in. He only checked the drains out side of the home and explained to us to get a better understanding that he would need to run a camera. He said out cheapest option was to just choose the basic to just see what is wrong with the plumbing. He ran it in a few feet and stopped, then informed us that we just need to replace all pipes and quoted us a crazy amount. After that, he still did not attempt to go inside to check from other angles to see exactly what is going on. Just told us we owed him $260 and that was it. When we asked for just the documentation for where exactly was the break, he told us that is not important to us, that it does not matter since all pipes need to be replaced. Speaking again with him the next day trying to understand exactly what is the issue, he just repeated that the pipes need to be replaced. We are still not able to live in our home at the time, since we wasted money on a well known company, who we thought would not bs with us, really thought they would try and be honest people. Feeling like we were taken advantage of and lost money. Waiting for next paycheck to get another plumber out here to evaluate and provide us the specs on what we are actually dealing with.

MATTHEW from the Farmers Branch location did an outstanding job of handling leak emergencies in multiple units. Repairs were completed very efficiently and effectively. His customer service skills were fantastic and his handling of all emergencies were dealt with in a very professional and calm demeanor. Moses was on time and did a fantastic job of clearing a clogged sink drain. He had to use two different machines to accomplish the job, but was very efficient and dedicated to the project. He cleaned up everything before departing and i would definitely use him again. Good Job Moses!!

He showed up cheerfully,on a Sunday late afternoon, reviewed the problem with my toilet, gave me a very quick quote, made the appropriate installation (in spite of how I had goofed it up trying to do it myself), cleaned up after himself, and was done within 20 minutes!!I will use Mr. Rooter again and ask for Pascual and his 27 years of experience by name.

Ripe off company. They were trying to tell me that to fix my sewer line from the big roots will cost me $2800 and I have to do it now to avoid any further damage at my home. I said, let me talk to my first before I made that kind of commitment. My wife was able to find another company which said that my sewer line was not damage and the big roots were actually small and they fixed the issue for less than $250. When they told me that I was like wow ... NEVER AGAIN WILL DO BUSINESS WITH MR. ROOTER PLUMBING OF DALLAS COMPANY.

Clint and Jessie were great!!! They came in and fixed my repairs quickly. They also educated me on possible future issues. Our garbage disposal has been acting a little funny and finally on Saturday (about five hours before my in laws were to arrive for dinner) it stopped working completely. Water backed up into the sink- the whole nine yards. We have a home warranty, so naturally we called them first and their plumber said the soonest someone could come out would be Tuesday. Knowing we would be cooking and would need to use the kitchen sink, there was no way that would work. I called Mr. Rooter around 9:15am. Salvador arrived right around 10:00am. The issue was fixed and we were good to go by 10:40- less than an hour and half from the time I called!! I was floored. It was honestly one of the best experiences with a home service contractor that I’ve ever had.

Keyfer was an excellent source for information. He was thorough and informed about the issue I was having and have some other tips for my home. Unfortunately I did not go with the offered services due to pricing.

Great job on a very large sewer pipe replacement project under the foundation. They were prompt, cleaned up the property well after finishing, and were easy to work with. I highly recommend.

Been a fan of Mr. Rooter for over 10 years, but never again. Feels like they quit caring. My emergency was called in to them at 8:30pm. After a couple of calls back to the office the plumber on call finally called me back at almost 11pm, and said he was too far away, so I should call the city. I had water gushing all night long. Called at 8:30 am this morning and was told they'd get to me when dispatch had someone. I finally called them at 10:15 and asked to cancel the call. Mr. Rooter never called to update or ket mb r know what was going on. Placed a call to another plumber I have never done business with. Dispatcher called me in 5 minutes. Plumber was at my house in less than 30 minutes! Guess I have a new plumber!

Pascual was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Had a leak in the morning and he had it fixed by the early afternoon. Great service and easy to work with!

We have a leak under our tile/slab in one of our bathrooms and scheduled an estimate. My husband was home and the tech shows up basically said it could be small leak or something big but really could not tell until they get in there. On the invoice, all that was written was toilet leak which we already knew that. He did give us some cleaner to run down our washing machine as we also had told them we had some kind of sewage leak that made the laundry room smell bad sometimes when we used the washer. At least we got that cleaner for the amount the the estimate cost us. We wanted the job done asap but it clearly was not going to happen. Wish our experience had been as good as most of the ones on here.

Moe was here on a Sat. night to unclog our toilets and etc. He was professional, competent and personable. It was such a pleasure to deal with him.

Had an emergency main line stoppage on Sunday afternoon. Mr Rooter is one of few open on Sunday and doesn’t charge a fee for it. They were able to dispatch Issac and he was out quickly and did a thorough job unclogging the lines and explaining what the issue was. Saved the day! Thank you!!

Similar to other reviews on this company, they came to our house and charged us $70 to give us a ridiculous quote for a water heater replacement. I was able to go to another licensed/bonded plumber and ended up getting the exact same water heaters replaced for approximately $1,000 less than what they quoted. Based on my experience, do not use this company. I will re-post to let you know if this company refunds my $70 when the check clears. You should also look at their ratings on consumer affairs or BBB.

The owner came out in response to a home warranty told me warranty would not cover the problem. Charged me $350 to take some pictures said he would help with insurance. Has been month and I have called several times. I have received no help with insurance have not seen pictures nor do I even have a receipt for whatever work he did do which was just plunge a toilet. Do not use this company he is not a professional!

All I can say is please shop around the price that they quoted us was around $10,000 the plumber asked me if I knew any military veterans and he knocked $2,000 off. I guess that's a sales gimmick for the customers to take the bait but I really didn't appreciate that.. when I requested for an invoice they did not provide me with one. I had to call the customer service for them to send me one.. the plumber told me that my pipes had failed and it was dumping water underneath the house ..needless to say when I call another plumber they confirm that the pipes work and there was nothing wrong.. needless to say I'll never call mr. Rooter .. and if I ever have a plumbing problem I will call Ernie's Plumbing they will treat the customers right and have fair prices... I can't stress it enough for you shop around and don't learn the hard way..

Frank is great. My boyfriend was out of town and when we had a plumbing issue I panicked. Frank was very patient and very informative. I will definitely recommend him and this company always.

We contacted them after arriving home and finding water coming out of the water meter box, we contacted Mr. Rooter and scheduled an after hour repair. We had to pay $100 upfront He arrived 2 hrs late and did not have any parts to complete a simple broken PVC 2” pipe. Kept the $100 and left. Will never call them again for future service.

Pasquale could not have been more professional nor could he have done a better job. It was a complicated job and he explained it to us and then fixed the problem quite nicely. You are lucky to have him on your team.

I had an unfortunate water heater issue while still under warranty. Clinton was patient and worked through the obstacles by the manufacturer to resolution! I would highly recommend him as he was professional and trustworthy!

Really don’t even deserve 1 star but that is the lowest I could give. Called about my shower not working. I was told they would send someone out. This was Friday afternoon at 12. They called me back around 3 pm and said it is now emergency hours and they would put me on the schedule first thing Saturday morning. No one showed. Called someone else and they came and fixed my problem. Well it is now 2pm Saturday no one still hasn’t called. I called them back and I was just put on hold. So no they can’t get a call from me ever. Very disappointed.

My plumber was amazing! I had a difficult, hard to diagnose problem but he hung in there until he found the problem, fixed it and fixed a couple of other things as well. I will definitely use them again. Ask for Jeff.

Thank you to the wonderful technician who came out to fix a disaster of a plumbing issue in my kitchen. The garbage disposal leaked and left a smelly mess under the sink. They arrived within the hour, covered their shoes before entering my home and covered the flooring in the kitchen before starting this messy job. He took time to explain and show me what the problem was. After thoroughly discussing costs and options we decided to replace the old disposal. He left everything clean and got rid of the smell! I have a couple of other plumbing projects coming up and I will definitely use Mr Rooter again! Not to mention, I will refer to anyone I hear that has plumbing needs!

Would not use this firm again. Charge for use of camera to locate blockage was $500. My plumber who was not available would have charged me $125.Mr. Rooter had a sub-contractor dig up the blockage and charged me $3,600. My Plumber would have charged me $1,200. Needless to say, I allowed Mr. Rooter to do the work.Looking back, I should have waited 2 days and possibly risked another blockage and saved $2,400.Another problem was that I took their suggestion of using American Water Damage. Another mistake. The manager came in and tore apart the baseboard and carpet stating that it would be covered completely by home insurance. NOT. Insurance only covered partial of what he tore up. Had to use my own funds for baseboards and carpet damage he did. He also did not return my multiple calls to his office. Insurance company couldn't get hold of him either. Bad business policy.

They didn't follow up to set an appointment. I'm sure it was just an oversight on their part, but I can't give a good review for that.

They were fast and professional. I really appreciated Matthew G arriving at my house in the middle of the night, to take care of my plumbing problem and get us all up an running in no time at all.

Had them out for clogged main line. Got it cleared first night but only to have them back out a month later. Only interested in quick fix and done. Did not take time to fully resolve issue just pushed it down the line. Even though they give a 180 warranty dont expect to have that honored. Technician denied doing more work on line even though he never fully inspected it. Stay away from these criminals.

Mr. Rooter came to my house to replace my water heater pilot light assembly today. When I scheduled the call the dispatcher told me that it would be priced on site (understandable) and there would be a $70 estimating charge that would be waived if they did the work but would not give me an hourly service rate (first red flag), they then charged me $337 for the work. Mr. Rooter apparently believes that they employ lawyers and doctors. When I called to find out about why I was being gouged, I was told by the dispatching service that the phone lines were down. This experience has been awful and your pricing is criminal. 2 hours after the work was completed I received a call from the Manager or owner who proceeded to yell at me that I was not held over a barrel and had a choice on not doing the work (I suppose he was right about that, but paying $70 for someone to knock on my door seems crazy to me).Final verdict of my Mr. Rooter experience - Outrageous pricing, outrageous code of conduct and an extremely rude manager/owner whomever called me.

I am in LOVE with this company! Our shower and bathroom sink had both clogged at the same time hours before my daughters birthday party! UGH what a nightmare!!!! I was panicking thinking about having people over and our only bathroom being unusable! LUCKILY for me the plumber came out to save the day within 35 minuets of my initial call! He was so sweet and understanding even with my two girls trying to help him (aka being all up in his way) This is BY FAR the best experience I've ever had with a plumber and I personally highly recommend them to ANYONE AND EVERYONE that needs a plumber!!! Thank you Mr Rooter for saving the day! LITERALLY!!!!

We called Mr. Rooter's Plumbing company because we had seen their van in the neighborhood and expected quality work. He took advantage of the situation he was given and slammed a $11,000 quote for the diagnosis, water line(s) repair, and a brand new water heater tank that was not needed. We had also told the plumber that the tiles in the kitchen & pantry were noticeably warm and that should have indicated a hot water line leak. Before beginning any type of work, he put forth an aggressive ultimatum demanding a signature or else he would leave. Under the pressure, we signed the papers to get all of the issues fixed. We were under the impression we would have zero leaking issues once he had completed his repair job. So then the Master/Senior Plumber came to check out the property and to see if the job was done correctly. He gave us the OK to repair the drywall and cover up the holes made by their contracted company (for the record, they did not come back to repair the walls). A couple of days pass and the same foundation leak issue was found around the perimeter of the house (same issue we had before we called Mr. Rooter's initially). We called Mr. Rooter's under the impression that everything was fixed but after another visit, they then informed us it was the hot water line that was leaking. Now, they have deliberately ignored this issue even though on the written contract. The plumber had written that there was a cold and water line leak. If he knew there was a hot water line leak, why did he ONLY replace the cold water line and then replace the water heater tank when the leak was coming from a pipe? On the contract, it says that the work is under warranty for 90 days yet we have failed to receive any sort of compensation for their incompetent work. We also opted for the Customer Protection Plan for 3 years but it seems like that is irrelevant. The plumber price gouged us for multiple reasons based on assumptions and lack of integrity. All in all, they are thieves. I would not recommend this company to anyone living the DFW Metroplex.

Pascual Adame is so awesome! He will be completely honest with you of any issues you have furthermore he unclog my toilet and thought there was a broken pipe but it came to be just filthy pipes. Saved the day. I thank him so much for all the work he did in so little time.

Joe DuBose was very professional and upfront about all of my plumbing needs. He even researched an issue on his own time which saved me money and time. My plumbing issues have been resolved to my satisfaction.

Called Mr. Rooter to clear a clog from the house to the city line. Tech ran the snake 75 ft without hitting or clearing line. Tech then attached a camera to the snake and reran down the line. He hit a clog at 20 ft. He said the clog could not be cleared by a snake. Gave me a quote for 3500.00 to replace 10 ft of pipe. Decided to wait until Monday and have my normal plumber check. He cleared the clog with a snake in about 20 minutes.

We believed, called them, and as a result ended up getting taken advantage off. Behold the true!Mr. Rooter has succumb to business practices which are greed driven, as results of poor business/ company integrity, overly priced services, deceiving up-selling tactics, and no direct ownership of responsibility for their owned' actions. (don't have to take my word for it, read all of the bad reviews posted. Ironically, all are complaining of the very same elements and management doesn't seem to be taking ownership and appropriate actions to make right as a result of these practices. When the very exact same elements are repeating, with no corrections, means this must be corporate / mgmt driven). Behold the true!!Our experience is as such -- very clear and direct problems. 1) very slow draining in some bathroom showers/ tub and sink. 2) water leak around hall toilet floor (downstairs).We were very clear & concise'd to directly pinpoint the exact problems. But, as with others, in their mannered trained practices, we were charged for very expensive procedures which were not necessary to pinpoint problematic causes. Yes, we also were charged for unnecessarily camera scoping of our whole house plumbing and under slab mapping (supposedly even to the curb), not even needed to pinpoint exact cause of slow draining which was hair clogs at the immediate draining points (all above gnd). Quick fix, run their snake line (only minutes req'd) at the showers, tub and sink to remove all the hair clogs and wallah - problem fixed. Yet, we were charged the sum of - $760.85 + $136.93 + $286.00 dollars to simply identify and remove excess hair causing slow draining. Oh My Glob !!! -- ridiculous!!! It should not ever cost $1100.00+ dollars to have your tub/ shower & sink drains unclogged of hair!! They even removed one under sink trap to send camera under slab with added charges to remove drain trap and replace it, wasn't even needed nor required!Re: hall toilet leak - To simplify problem- after removal of the toilet, it was identified that the floor flange was broken and a cracked pvc extender into main sewer pipe. Both simple pieces to remove and replace. The parts themselves are inexpensive (at home depot or Lowes, under $150 for both/ with 4 concrete molly bolts and pvc glue if required). Replacement should easily be completed in a couple of hrs.Charged cost --$2197.98 + 219.64 for a repair that should only cost approximately $600 - $800. Don't believe me, call one of the major plumbing Co's around the metro and ask them approx cost for this fix. You'll be surprised. Aside from the $2197.98 charges for repair, they charged to remove and replace the toilet itself - $219.64 (you'd think that it would be inclusive in the cost already). Seriously!!! (oh yeah and did their spill re: sewer water moisture under flooring and walls).The initial cost of this repair is crazy ridiculous! To top this, after paying them $3600.00, due to poor workmanship, it failed and leaked again. Imagine! They did return and repaired again, been 2 days, we'll see. After mentioning to supervisor that this work could have been done for much less cost, he replied, yeah by a handyman, but not a professional. Wait, let me understand, you're the so called professional and yet couldn't fix this right the first time, at these prices!!!In closing, We found our experience was totally opposite of their so-called advertised integrity.Yes, they were very nice and smiled all the time, but who wouldn't when they know the $$$$ they're receiving on departure. I would also.Mgm't - U need to make right on this !

2 complaints. 1 the website says Same Price ANY DAY OR TIME . We were charged a 99.00 after 7pm fee...and we called them at 1pm...plus says no extra charge on website!2. Did a sloppy job on caulking around the toilet.

Jeff was wonderful, he fixed an impossible master tub drain in minutes. Definitely would recommend...he came out same day that I called to schedule appointment!

The technicial did not properly diagnose the problem I was having with my dishwasher not draining properly. He advised that the solution to the problem was to do a chemical treatment of all the drains in the house in order to fix the issue at a cost of $325. I approved the service based on their expert advise that this was needed. The next time the dishwasher was run, it flooded the kitchen and dining area. When I called back to explain the issue still existed I was told that it must be a problem with the dishwasher and that Mr Rooter was only capable of solving plumbig problems and I would have to call someone else to fix it. The repair was eventually done by another company at an additional cost of $145. My issue is with the original diagnosis who told me cleaning out the drains would fix the problem. This is the only reason I approved the service. Follow-up attempts to reconcile the issue were met with little assistance and they declined any attempt to help remedy the situation.

Positive: They were going to get me same day service on a Sunday. Negatives: They say there's no upcharge for weekend service, but that's cause their normal prices are as high as the other guys weekend service. And they didn't want to honor their 25% promo code that was on their website unless I printed out the coupon for them. I don't have a printer. The appointment was a waste of my time.

I called this company to fix a leaking water line in my yard. They quoted me $238.00 to make the repair and I told them to go ahead. When they finished (which was less than one hour) they presented me with a bill for over a thousand dollars! After some haggling, I got the bill down to $942.00 and paid it thinking that I could get a refund later after talking to the people who run the company. No dice! These people are total rip off artists and you would do very well to stay completely away from them.

MR. ROOTER is GREAT!!! When I called I had multiple questions and they answered them with no problems. From the time I called them to the time they were finished with the job (which only took 2 hours in total) they had awesome customer service. Will definitely use again.

Ok apparently I was lucky with Richard Ramirez (tech#258) and had a positive experience, with work done about 2 months ago. He had the right attitude. Examples: I always ask if person does work on the side (I’M CHEAP), He said, “... No that would be like stealing from the company. Told me to call around before making any decision to prove that work quote was reasonable.Pros• Tailored communication to my level (internet research on plumbing). I also asked about a negative review online, which he addressed to my satisfaction.• Patient, tidy, clean, and professional. They had to use snake and obviously I had to stand over him and ask questions because I’m that guy.• Explained the issue more than once. I like to pretend “don’t’ understand” to see if person changes story of issue.• Took before and after pictures of work. This was at my request because knew would have issue with homebuilder because warranty has up.• Had to do major front yard repair which required my nice yard be ripped up. Post work you could hardly tell that yard had been torn up.

Everyone here is super professional and does the work efficiently! The time frame was perfect and they were were early! The office staff was very friendly and helped with all my problems! Great service at affordable prices!

I came home from vacation only to find that my water heater had been leaking for some time...Mr Rooter sent Jeff D....Jeff was awesome...he was quick to assess the problem...I must admit I was a bit overwelmed, but Jeff was so patient...even in 100 plus temperatures, Jeff was able to remove the old water heater and install a new one in the same day...thank you for everything!

Clogged kitchen sink....$714.00.We tech first arrived I asked about going on the roof and cleaning out the pipes that way and he said no we don't do that we go through the pipes under the sink.that was $270.Unable to get the sink unclogged he suggested going on the roof and clearing it that way.$240 more.still unsuccessful so next was a power hose $540 more.Had to buy a $99.00 membership to get discounted rate to make the final bill $714.00.This company took advantage of my elderly parents. Please don't waste your money with these rip off plumbers

I called back and asked for why he made up this story to the insurance company, he wouldnt give me an answer, I told him he was fired and i would block the charge on the credit card, he said I know where you live, i know where you work, I immediately called the Dallas Sheriff who called him up to warn him. Plumber who is hispanic pretended not to know english No habla engles. Police warned him anyway and told me to call 911 if he ever showed up nearby our house. I am in process of working with credit card company to block the payment. A second plumber came and told me the average expense for such work is $115. These guys are uneducated thugs, who have no customer service skills, and are plain rude. I must say, I am extremely pleased with Jeffrey Martinez and the work he did this morning. This young man started his work day at 7:30am, and still came out to help me tonight at 2am. Call these guys anytime you have a plumbing issue.

Definitely not recommended. We spent $600 to have the kitchen sink unclogged and the job still was not complete. We called Alert Drain, in and out in less than 10 minutes and only $175, problem solved. Reported this problem to the BBB and it was a waste of time as well. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THESE PEOPLE!!!!!

Horrible company. Doesn’t warranty work done. Also doesn’t fix the problem. My wife and I paid for them to come unclog our hall bathroom. They changed the price from $99 to $144 even though the ad says “know what you pay upfront” technician left and toilet is still clogged. I come home call them and come to find out no warranty on the work.... so pay me more to do something else that may or may not fix the problem

Lindim and Mo showed up 20 minutes after I called Mr. Rooter. Both were very polite and professional.My toilets have never consistently flushed correctly since I bought the home in 2003.Lindim used camera and I saw my worst nightmare. Several breaks with mud poking into the line and just beyond that a big root blocking it. We used camera under the house too, just in case. There were several breaks with mud sticking inside the pipe as well! These breaks were the direct result of poor plumbing, using the wrong parts. There were even places where the original plumber had used duct tape to seal joints!I hated to spend so much money to replace both lines but I decided it was better than damaging the foundation and paying for repeated rotoing to clear the lines.Lindim and Mo managed the project very professionally, showing up at all hours to get the next phase done.It's very expensive to have this done, but now I don't have to worry about clogs, backups and having a foundation problem from a sewage line leak.I'm glad I got Lindim and Mo as my technicians, I feel confident they did the job right this time.

Beware! See their Yelp reviews and the Better Business Bureau before hiring these guys. They are a total scam! It cost me approximately $1000 for them to basically come out and break my toilet.I called them on a Saturday evening as sewage was coming up from the drainage and going into the shower. I talked to an answering service that said it would be $90 for the plumber to come out, however they would apply the $90 towards whatever needs to be done to correct the issue. 2 hours later, I get a call stating that the answering service was wrong and that it is approximately $180 (red flag #1), $90 would apply and $90 is a guarantee additional charge. So, by that time it was too late and no other company was answering their phone, therefore I have no other option but to use them.The plumber goes out to the property and calls me back after inspection and states to me that they don't get up on the roof for cleanouts as they needed to go thru the air stack to do the clean out. Therefore, he wanted to charge me $180 just to come out and tell me that. They didn't tell me this upfront, they waited to tell me that they don't do clean outs thru the air stack until after they go out to the property and are already scamming me. He then gave me a different option that would cost more expensive of removing the toilet and cleaning out the drain for a total of $780 for an hour (additional fees if longer than an hour). By that time, I had no option but to go with it because he was going to charge me $180 just to tell me that they didn't get up on the roof.Now get this, approximately 20 mins later, the plumber calls me back and states he broke my toilet and that he would credit me approximately $100 for breaking my toilet (which ended up costing me an additional $300 to replace and install a new one).Lastly, 3 days later, we start to have the same issues with the drain and had to call a different company to come out and do the job correctly. After the new company did the cleaning, I paid them to camera the drain to make sure that the only issue was a clogged pipe. It came back that the issue was a clogged pipe and that Mr. Rooter did not fix the issue the first time.So basically, it cost me almost $1,000 for Mr. Rooter to come out and break my toilet. You have been warned! This company is a complete scam!

Be sure to get your estimate in writing! And don't sign any blank papers or you will be in for a big surprise at the end! I had a verbal estimate of $3500-4500, and got hit for $5800 because I had signed the blank contract authorizing the work to begin. They wouldn't adjust it and claimed that their behavior was completely correct.

Told my parents the pipes need to be replaced 6,000$ got second opinion. Problem was clogged pipe with hair. I am furious shame on you for taking advantage of people with there plumbing issues!!!!

We thought the knowledgeable plumber was helpful with getting our place to a livable spot so late at night but with a category 3 (sewage water) flood, even if the water is not pooled up on the floor anymore, it is in the walls, carpet, wood flooring, etc & people should stay in a hotel so they don’t breathe it in all night. After getting other opinions, we discovered the initial assessment was not correct.... not even a little. It was a scam. We have since learned that mr rooter trains the plumber/salespersons to be this way. This is based on a few different plumbers independent to large to insurance bpromoted... but one can not ever really know. I suggest getting more than one opinion. You’ll see the truth.

On Thanksgiving morning, I was loading-up the car to drive the family down to Austin for a long weekend with the Aunts & Uncles.
