Powers is a great company under new management and it really shows! My home was built in 1953 on a slab with cast iron pipes so I am no stranger to plumbing issues. I have dealt with a lot of different companies over the years but this one is exceptional. They have new top of the line equipment, excellent customer service, punctual, thorough, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and got the job done! Highly recommend!

Sink disposal was spraying and leaking water from the bottom of it after I had unjammed it. Sent out for quotes via Yelp but referred companies didn't respond fast enough and the companies that did, couldn't schedule me soon enough. Searched Yelp for plumbers near me and called Core Plumbing.5 starsfor the nice gal who answered the phone to assist especially since there was multiple calls between us that day when I scheduled the appointment and the day of the appointment. (I called on a Saturday afternoon and she was able to schedule me the following Monday between 9am - 12noon).5 starsfor Joe and Eli who came out to fix my disposal on Monday. They not only took a look at my disposal (which needed to be replaced; they even explained what caused it to break) but they also diagnosed and discussed other potential plumbing issues which included a cracked basket in the left sink, calcification of pipes and joints in the kitchen and bath, the need to replace water valves and, to repair the stop in the bathroom sink.Being that my home was built in the mid-70's, the sink basket was definitely in need of replacement and although the kitchen and bath pipes had been replaced in 2002 after another plumbing issue, the calcification was bad and replacement was needed. I gave the guys approval to do everything but replace the water valves which will be another appointment.Thank you Joe and Eli for your attention to detail, good work, and bring so personable and thank you Core Plumbing for your great customer service and staff!

My experience was excellent with Elite Rooter. The technician showed up on time and was very knowledgeable of the issue we were experiencing. I was very impressed with the prompt response in getting the equipment we needed to the building to perform the jetting of the lines. I will most definately be using Elite rooter in the future.

Will at Paw's Plumbing sent out a technician within a couple of hours of my call. I have a Rheem water heater with the burn unit and combustion control valve needing replacement. Rheem had sent me the parts under warranty.Eric Myatt came in, evaluated, gave a very reasonable quote and and a job time of approximately one hour. Other companies quoted much higher and if a job time of 2-3 hours.The job was done professionally and competently. I had hot water again after about twenty minutes. So, I am very pleased with the job Eric did and Paw's response time.

It was 8pm and after a few calls to 24/7 plumbers, I contacted All Star Plumbing and Restoration. I wish I had called them first because Anthony was the most responsive and knowledgeable of our plumbing emergency and was able to help us immediately. He listened to us (when I was in somewhat of a panic about our flooding), provided us guidance, and informed us of what All Star can do to help any water damage. I’m beyond thankful for his professionalism and ultimately for being a genuine human being in a time where I was frustrated and stressed. I cannot thank him enough and will be saving All Star’s number for all my future plumbing and restoration needs. I will definitely be referring this company to my friends and family. Our plumber Garrett Joyner was fantastic from beginning to end. The water heater brokethe same day as we were expecting visitors with a little baby, who were vacationing with us for a week. Garrett came in no time, emptied the water heater, gave me options regarding a new one and time to consider the options. I made up my mind by the evening, he came back the next day - which was Halloween!!!!- and had the water running again by 8 o'clock pm. After two handyman had tried to troubleshoot a malfunctioning shower and advised I'd probably have to rip out the handle mechanism by making a hole in the wall, I called Emory for a third opinion. Their plumber showed up on time and did not leave until he figured out what was wrong and fixed it. (..and it did not require making a hole in the wall but instead was a faulty part).
