Courtesy Plumbing has always been our go to. Not only are their prices fair in comparison to the other companies in the area, they truly are courteous and professional.The people in the office always give me a reasonable window or eta and they are reliable.We had 3 technicians take care of us over the years and all of them have been able to fix the issue and provide me with the knowledge needed to go forward.They have replaced all of our toilets, faucets, shower heads and fixtures, installed a regulator pump, and much more. We plan to remodel our master bathroom and I will be scheduling with Courtesy.

Lou was very knowledgeable and courteous. He went over everything before starting, and answered my extensive questions. He worked very fast, and his work was very neat and clean. Everything lines up correctly, there was no mess, it all runs as it should. He stayed right on budget, too! Because I asked, he gave me a clear idea of what else needs fixing, but didn't pressure me at all to fix it now. No up-selling, just solid information from a professional. I really appreciated him.

The first time he came out he had to diagnose a strange intermittent leak and was able to come up with a fix. The second time he came out was to replace a garbage disposal. We had a time crunch and he was able to replace it quickly. Always friendly, professional, and clean.

Courtesy plumbing provides very decent service. They sent available plumber immediately after I hang up and kept updating me the project status with texts. Abraham the plumber is really professional at the detection and repair of the plumbing pipe. He got everything done within two hours, including shutting off the water, cutting the drywall, replacing the broken pipe and cleanup. Really appreciate their kindness and expertise.

Our water heater broke last night, flooding our garage. We called Courtesy Plumbing this morning. We have used them in the past, and they were always prompt , transparent and professional. Today was no exception. Initially they were going to send someone in the afternoon, but an opening came up sooner and they called to see if we were available. The plumber, Sami, was knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the options and pricing. Within a few hours a new temporary hot water was setup.

Once again, great service from Courtesy Plumbing. The plumber, Lou, was very informative and explained what needed to be done thoroughly and even showed me how to do a few things on mmy own. Highly recommend.

Jason did the initial inspection and was very accessible for questions regarding a shower renovation and other plumbing questions. Jason was also very prompt on the day of the plumbing job, and did a great job throughout the day. Abraham arrived mid day and the two of them worked extremely well together to get the jobs done in one day. They replaced two toilets, replaced plumbing and faucets in the bathrooms, replaced shower and tub handle, spout, etc, in two showers and a tub, and fixed a third toilet. I really appreciate the honest and responsive service of Courtesy Plumbing. The first time I called was for a toilet that wouldn't stop running and Sammy came out the same day. It turned out that the ring was leaking and the flapper unit as well. It was a 33 year old toilet and Sammy told me it would be more cost effective to replace it than repair it. I had no idea what to buy so he found a Kohler model on sale at a local big box store that would fit the footprint of my current toilet and texted me the information. I bought the toilet and he installed it the next day with no charge for the first visit. The next time I needed Courtesy Plumbing, I asked for Sammy and he came that day because our water pressure regular was shot. He replaced it and told us that our water heater was old so would bear watching. He gave us a replacement price and said if we didn't want to replace it, then make sure to turn it off if we went out of town to avoid potentially disastrous leaking, which we had experienced before with our last water heater. I have been so impressed that I feel completely confident to recommend their services

I'm new to the area, so I choose Courtesy Plumbing based solely on positive online reviews, and the positive reviews were accurate. The two gentlemen who helped us were friendly and knowledgeable. I really couldn't be happier with the whole experience.It was easy to schedule, and they came exactly when they said they would. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves completely, and it was a tricky job. They had to cut out drywall in the garage ceiling to diagnose the root cause of a leak. Turns out it was the valve in an upstairs shower, which required an unusual replacement part. Still, they tracked down and installed the replacement a few days later.

Our fir pit wasn’t working and the installer had concreted the entire valve assembly in. I was a as ble to get most of that removed. Lou came in and gave his estimate and was able to quickly get the job done. This wasn’t an easy fix and invoked a gas line repair. Would definitely recommend.

Our tenants called at 8 am to tell us the water heater ruptured in the middle of the night. We called Courtesy Plumbing and they had a plumber at the house by 1 pm and the tankless water heater installed and the rusted water valve were replaced by evening. Skylar did a great job of explaining the price points and pros and cons of various heaters. He is very knowledgeable and professional and the installation is well done. The owner personally delivered the parts and both were onsite until 7 pm. This is the second time in two years that we have used Courtesy, and each time I have been impressed with the professionalism of the people and the quality of the work!

I couldn't be happier with Courtesy Plumbing! Both toilets in my home started running at the same time over the weekend. I emailed saying I didn't need service asap, but sometime this week would be great.I got a reply on Saturday and booked for Tuesday at 11:00am. The scheduler asked if I'd be interested in moving to an earlier slot in case of cancellation, and I said yes.This morning I got a text and an email confirming for tomorrow AND an email saying 11:00am was available today. I picked today and received a call from dispatch saying would a bit earlier than 11 be okay because our plumber was working very nearby. I said yes.At 10:49am, Mr. Gavard from Courtesy Plumbing arrived armed with supplies to fix both toilets (provided I had accurately described the issue, which luckily I had) and had repaired both, answered all our questions, and cleaned up and went on his way by 11:45am. Couldn't be happier.

I had a wonderful experience with courtesy plumbing. I had Sig as the plumber replace the house pressure reducer and shutoff valve to the 3 unit property. Was broke reading 100 psi, it was old and corroded. He realigned the pipes as it should be with all the new stuff. I’m a very handy person that usually does all my own plumbing having a few rentals but wanted this done by a professional. I did some research and went with Courtesy, all the Google, yelp reviews are spot on. Great company with the all important fair price. I didn’t feel like I was taken and was given a solid service with quality parts. Highly recommend!

I hired this company because they have good Yelp reviews. However, I over-trusted them and I should ask more questions and details before I hired them. Overall, what I got form this company is: completed work not what I was expecting, high price and TBD warranty. Be careful of this company and please read not only good reviews but also negative ones.The most unsatisfactory part was I paid something I was not expecting. The only reason I was going to hire a licensed plumber was to replace rusted toilet flange. I didn’t have tools and enough knowledge to remove the rusted toilet flange properly. When I called, I explained with receptionist what I need. She told me their technicians need check it and give me a quote because there are many different types of infrastructure. It did make sense. When the technician came in, he gave me a quote. For replacing flange, it was $225. Including toilet and new angle stop installation, total was $600. Actually, replacing flange is the only work I really need from them, and for the rest of job I can do it by myself. But I thought technician already drove from far away to my home, I didn’t mind paying him extra to complete everything.However, later I realized he just put new flange on the top of rusted old flange without removing it. I already did some research. The way he did worked but it was not what I wanted. It was easy and quick for him but it may cause some problems for me later. If I like this solution, I can do it by myself and no reason hiring a licensed plumber drilled 4 screws down and charged me $225. I argued that with him a little bit. Since he already started, I just let him finish the job and pay him. With discount, I have been charged $560 not including removing and hauling away toilets.Overall, on my case, I feel they charge everything they can, not took care of job from customer’s point of view and overlooked customers asked for.The funny thing was the technician told me I need pay $25 to use their parts to make sure I can get covered by their warranty. Actually, I already purchased these parts by then, but I still decided to buy from them. After job done, I asked him how long of the warranty is, he told me 30 days because I purchased toilet by myself. After I questioned about it and wanted to call their customer service, he told me he can offer 1 year warranty to me.Since I have other 3 toilets I need replace, I call different licensed plumbers including Homedepot contractor services. The quote is from $199 to $260 including removing and hauling away of old toilet, adding new flange over old one, and installing new customer supplied toilet

My experience with Courtesy Plumbing could not have been better. We had two stubborn issues that we could not resolve ourselves. Lou Wiley was able to fix everything with a 1973 toilet and a shower with an obscure European hardware. I will ask for him specifically in the future!

Jason from Courtesy came out last year to fix a tough job. Exactly a year later had another tough repair at the same place. The only appointment I could get was a week out but a few days later they called and said they had an opening. Jason came out again and just like before it was fixed the same day. Everyone that works there is professional and does excellent work. I have been a customer for over 10 years. They are my first choice in plumbing.

This business used to be OK. But not any more. Someone from this business named Luke came to my house to repair toilet valve and check a few other things including a water heater fix. He used misleading information to get the toilet job. When I complained. He said that he will talk to the owner and get back to me. As you can expect, he never gets back to me.Price is excessive. replacing a toilet valve was charged at $205. On water heater fix. The quote was $550. And, I got the job done by another plumber at $200.Will never use it again.PS: Some updates. Within 60 minutes of my post, the owner called me. Sounds like this is the only way to get their attention. Bad business.

Seig, from Courtesy Plumbing came to our home on Wed. to disconnect all the pipes and drains for our sink and dishwasher so that we could have the sink and countertop replaced the next day. Seig and his trainee came back then on Friday to reconnect everything and install the new drains and faucets. They were super professional and were definitely COVID safe. Courtesy Plumbing guaranteed their service people were fully vaccinated and even so they wore masks while indoors. Unfortunately a few weeks after moving in we had a few problems with a leaky toilet, a bad wax seal, broken down reverse osmosis system in the kitchen, a dead circulating pump and if that wasn't enough the master valve began to leak randomly in the garage.Lucky for us Lou came out for the first issue and helped us (home owner and us) work together to diagnose and solve the problem quickly and cost effectively. As new issues cropped up we specifically requested Lou because of how thorough he was with the quoting process, communication, the repair work, final clean up and walk through showing what was done and why.As an example of how Lou approaches the work, he wanted to hold on fixing a mysterious leak until we had more information as to what was going wrong and why. He explained that ethically and professionally he wanted to make sure we were investing in the right solution and not just fixing things that may not be the source of the problem.As I noted, Lou was very professional and skilled in how he wanted to work through each issue. The more complex jobs reflected quality designs that are efficient and attractive to the eye. Plumbing can look ugly or interesting and attractive if given some thought. He made it look good without wasting labor or materials. He knows his craft for sure.I have used many different professional plumbing organizations over the years. Some were better than others but the team at Courtesy Plumbing has been the best by far. Ask for Lou when you call. With all the different projects and solutions he worked on for us I can assure you he is the consummate professional through and through. They now have our business for life.

First, you were the only company willing to come TODAY to fix a leak.. Sami explained that we didn't need a valve replacement, and that the dishwasher un-installers just didn't properly shut off valve, and put on the wrong part. He fixed the leak without installing an unnecessary part. While he was here, he was able to give us a quote for installing a tankless water heater and new vanity! I have rental property, and I wish I had used you guys before!

As always, this is my Go-To plumbing company. 2 weeks prior I was on the road and a leak appeared outside on the public sidewalk. A friend staying at my house called the City of San Diego. They came out and said it was on owner's side and so the friend called their plumber. Needless to say, there was a backup inside my house (probably due to dirt and debris getting in the city line when repaired, and trouble ensued AFTER I was home and running a shower, toilet, and laundry on the same day. Courtesy Plumbing to the rescue. Same day service. All issues repaired, and despite me being willing to spend MORE money to pay for an additional fixture, they said it wasn't necessary. Honesty above a $450 part/job that I (the customer) was suggesting. Now how often does THAT happen?! Hard, REAL HARD to find honesty these days!!!! Do yourself a favor, put their number in your cell under Plumber of Choice and use them, refer them, tip them well. Your pipes will thank them, as do I!!!!!!

Discovered a leaking hot water heater Sunday evening. Called Courtesy Plumbing at 7:30AM Monday and they dispatched someone to arrive at my house within 30 minutes. I wouldn't say they are the most competitive pricing out there, but they provided quality work, were punctual and professional and my problem was promptly fixed. I would recommend them for a hassle-free and professional experience. It's sometimes worth paying a little extra for quality service.

I worked with Courtesy Plumbing to address some items that came up on the inspection report of our home. The technician (Abraham) they sent out was dressed in clothing that identified himself, he was on time, and most importantly extremely professional. Will definitely use them again in the future!

Hot water heater went out in the evening. Called Courtesy the next day and within an hour someone was at the house. Rather than just sell us something we didn't need, they checked all the components to see if it was something simple first. Ended up needing a new hot water heater, old one was 13 years old. They got a new water heater and had it installed before the end of the day. Also had them put in a whole house water filter, that replaced an old one.

We got 3 quotes for our broken water heater. Courtesy Plumbing was the most efficient, courteous and price wise reasonable of them all. ARS & Bill Howe were going to take 5-6 hours, and charge us $600-$1100 more.These guys got it done in 2.5 hrs! Beautiful. I recommend them to anyone with plumbing needs.

Appropriately named, COurtesy Plumbing was a pleasure to deal with. One entire side of my haome would not drain, and so called COurtesy based on their Yelp reviews. I was not disappointed. They called me to let me know if the technician would be delayed, and kept me apprised of any deviations from the scheduled appointment. Joey was excellent and a true professional. The problem was in the sewer line, and required him pulliing out the heavy equipment. Despite the nastiness of the job, and the equipment needed, Joey was done in less than an hour, and the cost too embarrassingly reasonable to mention. Courtesy called me the following day to make sure I was happy with the technician and the job. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and follow-up is impressive and I feel fortunate to have found a plumbing company I can look forward to dealing with.

Siegfried came to our Factor Loma home and recommended replacing the whole kitchen area sink which was extremely honest evaluation and also which saved a great deal of cash. He suggested changing just our kitchen area tap which he did incredibly promptly and professionally.Also, he did some minor adjusting on a loosened sink take care of without even billing for it.

Wow. So we had a potentially expensive problem on our hands (plastic and a metal bolt down the shower drain). All the quotes we are getting are quite high, one was initially 350 to bring out the camera, plus 200 an hour. I called Courtesy Plumbing to get a quote. They couldn't use the camera until the next week, but the quote was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than all of the competition I had called so far (pretty much half), and it was a flat rate. That's a good sign already. That's not the best part. Then they called me back an hour after we spoke and suggested a simple DIY solution that actually worked!! They took the time to call me back, when it meant potentially no profit for them, and saved us a huge expense. I am really blown away by the level of integrity this shows. This also shows they know creative and out-of-the-box solutions that were probably learned through years in the industry. We will certainly be using their services for any future problems.

Always professional and fair price -- job done properly/to my satisfaction. This time around I was traveling, my wife called another company for a plumbing (water) repair, my fault for not letting her know about Bill Howe. My wife is smart enough to use Yelp reviews, found a company (Courtesy) with 5 star rating, came to my home and fixed the problem, professional, nice guys -- challenge (problem/issue) was their pricing for materials, appeared to be VERY high, $400+. But it was a situation we had to fix immediately because water was leaking from my main line outside my home.While at my home (via phone) I asked Courtesy to check a second problem, a leaking gas pipe feed to my pool, they came back to our home today, once again very nice guys, professional, dug around the pipe to expose to find the leak, could not find, recommended I get a leak detection specialist -- which is ok. The challenge was the price for materials quoted, just way too high (given my experience remodeling many/multiple homes).I thereafter called Bill Howe Plumbing, Jessica (Howe) answered, asked me to email a picture of the job so they assess -- a 5' feed from the flex to the meter. I emailed the picture, followed up with Jessica, and to my amazement 15 minutes later I got a call from Bill Howe himself. I explained the situaiton, Bill was extremely patient and professional, I asked him what he would charge for similar materials. He explained materials (a 90 degree transition sweep) could be a different brand from Courtesy, but his price for the materials would be 'no more than $250...' (vs. $500+ for Courtesy).I was a bit curious so I called a couple of plumbing supply stores, received a price of $140-187 over the phone, each store confirmed a contractor/plumber would get a discounted price. BTW, re: intial water repair, I also asked the plumbing supply stores for a quote for the parts used, was given a $120 price, 70% less than I paid for the week before...So at the end of the day, Courtesy is charging a 400% mark-up for materials. These guys are great ... no problems with the plumbing on my remodel bathroom where we added a sink, and moved the shower a few feet over, and added an RO unit for clean drinking water in the bathroom.
