Major sewer repair in our backyard.Nearly a year ago we had a back up in my sons bathtub. The main line to the sewer was backing up and water/waste on our backyard patio. I called Core Plumbing as my plumber of choice for many years. They came out quickly, assessed the problem, offered solutions, and got us back flushing toilets the same day.During the inspection, the tech found roots in the line and thought the pipe was also cracked. We paid the invoice and waited for the repair estimate. I have to admit, it was shocking, but I knew it was a very difficult repair and would involve lots of man and machine power. I saved nearly 10 months for the repair hoping we wouldn’t get another backup. We had one within three months, solidifying our need to get this work done.I gave a down payment and scheduled the work for our family vacation so we could let them do the work without interruption or the house with no sewer. Greg, our supervisor, sent daily pictures. This was quite the job, as Manny, the tech operator mapped out the equipment and game planned the job a few days before we were to leave.Yes, plumbing is expensive, yes plumbers are paid very well, yes it is sometimes messy, but guys let me tell you, Core Plumbing is the absolute best!!They always exceed my expectations in terms of quality of work, protecting my property, using the best materials, but ultimately just being great people. Thanks to all involved on my project.

Kevin and his team did an amazing job! Extremely professional and was able to explain what needed to be done so I could understand and know the job was being done correctly. Core Plumbing was the second company in to do the work and they fixed many issues I previously had. They repaired/replaced a water heater, pressure regulator, dishwasher and more. About halfway through a DIY master bath remodel in a 60 YO house, I called CORE Plumbing for an inspection. Don & Jacob arrived the following day and performed an entire system check. As expected, there were some issues and several other code upgrades needed.The next day Jacob & Tony arrived early and had most of the work completed same day, including trenching and concrete. Jacob paid much attention to detail and pride-of-work. Don & Jacob finished up last day, also adding some creative custom piping at my request.Every item asked for was completed quickly and professionally. Don and all of the CORE staff were friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and in particular willing to meet my specific needs with this project.I highly recommend CORE Plumbing to anyone. Wow! Core Plumbing to the rescue! My husband and I came home to water all over our garage! Apparently we had a slab leak….one quick call and they helped us!! 3 work trucks showed up with a team of professionals!!! What would have taken any other company days to fix….they had our leak fixed, our floor dry and they didn’t leave a mess!! They were respectful, polite and fast!! Thank you Core Plumbing for your quick and efficient response to our nightmare!

After a few communication problems, Core Plumbing did take care of two leaky sinks. They also recommended and installed a water pressure regulator and a device on my hot water tank. They are good but expensive. Maybe the two go together I guess. Next time I will get another bid just to check. I had one of the guys look at a shower I want replaced and he said he would get back to me with a bid but no word so far.

We had Core Plumbing, replaced all the plumbing in our house, sewer main line, main water line, including laundry and all the faucets, the crew was great, can’t say enough about them, they work hard long days, made sure we had water at the end of each day, I highly recommend Core Plumbing

Core Plumbing had worked with our contractor on our recent Kitchen remodel. The contractor suggested we call them to replace two faucets in the main bathroom. They were easy to schedule, and communicated arrival updates via text. The Techs who arrived, Kevin and Marc were professional and polite, and kept the bathroom clean and protected while they worked. I received an estimate of the work immediately up front after they looked at the situation. They completed their work quickly and cleaned up. I was somewhat shocked at the price, which was significantly higher than I expected it would be. They seem to be a quality organization.

I call Core Plumbing for and estimate to repair my water line between the city water meter and my house. Their response was quick, friendly and very professional. I was told in great detail what they would do to correct my problem with the water leak. Received two other estimates but what convinced me to go with Core Plumbing was their professionalism and guarantee. I would highly recommend Core Plumbing to anyone that wants a job well done. Your landscape will be returned to what it looked like before they started and finished their work.

Great experience with Grant and Jacob of Core Plumbing. Grant and Jacob were able to quickly fix my leaking shutoff valves in my kitchen as well as added a thermal expansion tank to my water heater and replaced a broken water pressure regulator. Grant described the work to be done and once completed reviewed each of the repairs with me. Second time my family had used Core Plumbing services. Same excellent experience as the first time. Will continue to use Core Plumbing in the future as well as recommending Core to my friends and neighbors!

We had an issue with our sink that was dislodge from the counter. Don and Christian came and made a quick assessment and also provided a reasonable estimate to what would it cost to reinstall the sink. They were professional, courteous and very reasonable to talk to. I really appreciated the fact they were not there to ‘sell’ us with other things. They even threw in re caulking our shower for free. Highly recommended and would come back for any of our plumbing needs.

We needed to get a plumber out asap to our condo to replace a bathroom faucet and sink lines that were in really bad shape. Tori at the front office was so helpful and communicative in getting someone scheduled for us and texting me with updates. The plumber, Tony, went out of his way to find us the right faucet at a good price and came out at 6pm, after he had just finished another emergency plumbing job, to make sure he could install everything for us. He even caulked around the bathroom sink, free of charge, so no more water would leak down behind it and rust out the water lines. We really appreciated how professional and personable everyone was, and we will definitely be recommending them to our friends & family!

We had three different issues: new toilet, air gap for dishwasher and outdoor leak. Tony was very patient with our many questions and thorough and fair about what we could do and what wasn’t necessary. I’m always skeptical about overpricing, but Tony was not only skilled, he was transparent and really just made us feel at ease about everything. And Tori was so nice about my having to reschedule more than once. Highly recommend Tony and Core Plumbing.

Please read their reviews. There are some consistent issues that others have mentioned which led to this lower rating/review.1) Their automated system scheduled a time they could not meet - so they rescheduled... twice over two days. Note that I had a backed up sewer line, so we were not able to use any plumbing in the house for over two days.2) When they arrived, they provided an estimate of $443 to snake a line. That seemed excessive based on other times we've had the line cleaned in the past. But there was no choice since we waited so long for them to come out.3) There was no itemization of their estimate - just $443. that's it. No time/materials/fees. The amount didn't really make much sense. There are no published fees for home visit, hourly rate, etc.4) They immediately suggested the higher priced option of $649 for the jet clean, video taping and cleaning of the sewer line. We just wanted the line clean so we could go to the bathroom and take a shower.On positive notes - the plumber was professional and did the work timely once he showed.

Excellent work on stove and heater gas lines repairs. Provided a fair bid and went to work. All the necessary parts were with them. No need to leave for anything. Kevin and Mark were both friendly and got the job done smoothly.

We had a clogged toilet and an emergency situation. From the very first call Don put me at ease. Tim and his team were very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. They worked very hard till very late in the evening to solve the problem and made sure we were able to use the water that very day. They went above and beyond and I would definitely recommend them to my friends. Hopefully their work is thorough enough that I wont need them anytime soon. Our toilet backed up for unexpected reasons and late in the day. However, I called Core and the scheduler did her best at booking an appointment for the very first thing the next day. We were not disappointed as Grant was here, took care of the problem and was on his way.We have come to rely on Core as they have replaced toilets with low flow, cracked sinks and worn faucets, valves quickly and efficiently.When we have plumbing challenges and don't quite know where or what to do, Core is always trusted to be here and resolve it quickly!

This company was amazing! Always on time very professional and educational! Kevin not only installed the water heater but he also educated me on when to have it serviced and in case of emergencies what to do and how to get back up and running if anything were to happen! Great job by Greg from Core Plumbing. He replaced my washer/dryer valves which were frozen after 20 years. Was very polite, professional, on time, did great work and cleaned up nicely after the job. Will use Core Plumbing again!

Not only did Tony swap out my garbage disposal for me, but he took extra steps and re-plumbed under my kitchen sink so the water flows better overall. It was a great value and more than I expected. Will be calling them back for other sink and shower fixes.

We used Core plumbing two times. The first time Tony and Christian came out when we had a cracked drain line that needed to be replaced. While they were here, we had them change a shower valve and also replace another drain line. They worked all day without taking one break and delivered extremely high quality work and fixed some additional minor problems they saw along the way. I recently called them out for some additional repairs we found when moving our old appliances. Tony came out and once again delivered great work while also being extremely courteous and professional. I would recommend them to anyone needed high quality plumbing services.

Core plumbing is great. I had them help me with the water heater replacement, servicing the heater annually, replaced toilets, repairs blocked toilet etc. They did professional service each time. All of the plumbers and apprentice are pleasant, and efficient. I had them service me since 2008, none of their jobs requires second visit. Definitely recommend them to anyone.

Zack Ivy came to help us out yesterday with some toilet clogging issues and some other plumbing repairs. He was great to work with, explaining the reasoning for his recommendations and providing various options. He worked a long day to get the job done and more importantly, get it done right! Will definitely be going back to Zack for any future plumbing needs.

I had an emergency situation and they came out and arrived on time. They were wonderful about explaining everything very clearly to me. Very friendly, very responsive and they cleaned up very well after themselves. Their prices might be a little higher than some, but they do an excellent job! Very thorough. Definitely recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

Had the pros come out and check on a gas line under my range. The gentlemen that came were friendly and professional. The company was very forward in their communication and managed the arrival time of the service very well. This is the first time I used this service. I liked that Kevin came when he said he was coming. He fixed a toilet leaking to the floor down below and gave me the name of someone to clean the mold that it created.He alerted me of the high water pressure that the pipes had and installed a new regulator.He fixed a leak outside and installed a ball valveHe did a very good job.

Kevin came on time and the price was fair. My sink posed problems for installing the new garbage disposal, but he got some extra manpower and made some adjustments and got it done. Thank you so much. These guys are my plumbers for over 10 years.

I called because I thought there might be a leak in the pipe. They came out and it was a leak in the wall. Checked other areas and found the toilet was leaking causing wall and floor damage. Replaced toilet and also found possible roof and electrical damage which they alerted me to.They then referred me to another company for more extensive leak assessment.I was very glad for the extra care they took in checking all areas of the house. I’m able to take care of the other issues to prevent further damage.

Good communication from office to set up the appointment. Plumber was on time and knew how to complete the project. He was very knowledgeable, efficient, and clean. Would highly recommend.

Called core plumbing for help with double vanity sink that obviously clogged. Kevin from core plumbing showed up in a couple of hours later after my call (2h earlier than originally booked time) and cleared out problem right away! He is very nice giving us tips how not to build clogs. I would highly recommend core plumbing.

I booked an appointment and an hour before start time they called to cancel because they do not “service buildings of this nature”. I have a single family home in a residential area and asked them to explain she said they only service residential and commercial buildings, which made no sense as to why they cancelled because I have a residential home. She said they couldn’t elaborate more and now I’m left scrambling to find another plumber for a kitchen leak. They wasted my time. 0 stars.

Had an appointment monday. They told me they couldn’t make it due to an emergency. Ok, thats fine. They told me they would come tuesday. No showed tuesday (even though i called 3x) and then tomd me my appointment was wed. Ok. I waited. Then end of day wed i am told my appointment is Friday. They kept no showing and rescheduled my appointment without even a call or email. Ive used these guys before and even had them help my dad out with a big job in la mesa but I’m not sure if i would use again.

I booked Core Plumbing due to a clogged kitchen sink and a leaky laundry drain pipe. In the end, I also had them installed a water heater thermal Expansion tank and fix a rough pipe for my laundry and dryer. They are very responsive. They clearly explain the problem, the work needed to fix it, and the cost. It shows that they take pride in their workmanship because when they accidentally damaged my laundry sink, they returned to install an upgraded and brand new laundry sink. The service technicians were very good and worked hard. The low rating is based on the sales transaction process where we were refused to restore our water service to our home (on a late Friday afternoon) unless we signed the 5 figure contract to start the real repair on Monday. We were willing to pay for the high line and just wanted to talk to another plumber for a price. So now we feel we must have overpaid due to the obvious concern over us getting another price. Felt like a gun was held to our head. Too bad this “Christian” based business wouldn’t help us and make us feel comfortable with the transaction.

I hired Core plumbing for a small leak in my rental unit. Though it wasnt super 'urgent', they understood the need of getting it fixed sooner rather than later.They were reliable, showed up the same day, and at the time frame they promised. The fix was quick and completed in the same visit. Very happy!The only thing I wonder is if their price is competitive to the market; due to the nature of the issue and at my tenants schedule, I didnt have time to shop around for pricings. Hopefully I didnt get ripped off, but i figure i saved on 'stress' and 'headache', so based on the service, it was 100% great.

Millennial approved by me! The folks at Core are super awesome. I booked online and the experience from start to finish was flawless. I've tried online services with other plumbing companies and Core Plumbing hands down has the best system of lead generation and follow up on their website.We've had a leaky hose bib (new terminology for me, thought it was called a water spigot) since the time we moved in about 6 years ago. Our leaky bib would fill up a 5 gallon bucket overnight. (I know. I know the gallons of water wasted. Not completely wasted it went to our quarantine garden. :D)After booking online, you get a text, email and a call. The dispatcher was nice. I like the fact that when you call back you actually get the person who called you and not a phone bank. She got the details of my situation and then you get another text when a technician is on their way along with a little map of where they are at. Twenty-first century technology for a win!Joe came by (on time by the way), assessed the situation and fixed us up. Very knowledgeable and had a lot of experience. Super cool guy. And super tall. I think every technician Core has sent out to us was at least 6'3 (maybe a prerequisite for the job?) Joe was kind like he could be our neighbor, even the kids loved him. <3 He answered all my kiddos questions with the most enthusiasm as a teacher. My boys were sad to see him go when he was done, and asked when the Joe the Plumber would be back. LOLWhen the job was completed, I received an email with my detailed receipt that I can easily file away into the cloud. I am one happy millennial. No paper was wasted on this job. Requested a quote of all the recommended services, a couple of times during the visit, did not receive it.Asked for one thing to be fixed, instead was given a list of multiple other issues (expensive ones at that), that needed to be fixed or my job would not be taken.Will not recommend this business.

Core plumbing showed up within an hour of calling. They clearly explained what they were going to do. They installed a new water heater, fixed up some old configuration issues and left the space clean. I will definitely use them again.

I scheduled a drain cleaning service with Core Plumbing as this company had great reviews and portrayed themselves as a reputable company. I had two bathroom sinks that were clogged. Two members showed up and provided an estimate for the cleaning of my two bathroom sinks. The price felt quite high; however, I trusted their recommendation and believed they were going to do a solid job. After 2.5 hours and with little progress, one plumber shared with me in order to fully clean the drain, they will need to access the pipes in the wall. This required more construction work (open a hole in the wall or in my cabinet). His quote for this project + labor was $4700.I ended up dismissing Core Plumbing and reaching out for a second opinion through my HOA, but Core Plumbing still charged me $775 for labor and a tap part replacement that I know only costs $4 at the hardware store (the piece was plastic, which is not what I originally had). The second plumbing company ended up cleaning both drains later that day without drilling a hole in the wall the process only took 20 minutes to complete.At the end of the day I'm frustrated and am humiliated about the whole situation. I trusted this company to provide me with the right guidance. Instead I was given really bad advice and almost ended up doing something that was completely unnecessary. Plus, I was charged for an insane amount for the service they provided.

Don was great. We had a water heater blow and he came over right away, assessed the problem, and made recommendations. I was considering going to a tankless system, but after determining the work and cost involved, he recommended against it even though it would have been a bigger job for him...very honest...and his recommendation made sense. Don came and did the heater removal after hours just so I could get the handyman in to mitigate the water damage faster...he just went out of his way to help. I scheduled the water heater installation a few days later and the plumber Zach was on time and very courteous. We asked to have him do some trivial task, like remove some stickers, and rather than give us grief, he just said, your house, your rules...no problem. It was the pinnacle of customer service. The work was immaculate...they did a great job all around. Without hesitation, I'd use Core Plumbing again, and would recommend them to everyone.

All of the above. I called in for a question about service for a pipe leak. Kevin with Joey showed up in less than 30 minutes. This was not an emergency call either. Kevin assessed the situation and provided several levels of service depending on my needs. Once selected, they went right to work. I had a bigger issue than I thought, he explained very clearly what the issue was and how I would like to proceed. It did cost a little more, but he gave me a full breakdown of the service. Both Kevin and Joey were very professional about the job and got it done in less than 2 hours right then and there. I thought this was going to be an all-day job where they would have had to come back. But now I don't have to wait and have hot water throughout my house once again. A big thanks to Core Plumbing. Very friendly technician, I didn’t get my $20 off for booking on yelp and I was still charged $59 for them to come out even though that fee should be waived if a repair is completed… also $1111.00 is a lot for replacing a pressure regulator… just saying

I needed all my outdoor storm drains cleared, they came and did the whole job same day. Very happy with my service and this company. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for any of my household plumbing needs.

Core plumbing came out and addressed a water pressure issue I was having. After doing some checks to ensure it would fix the issue they replaced my water pressure regulator. Really happy with the service, the tech was nice and willing to explain what he was doing.

We have used core plumbing on a number of jobs (two bathroom remodels and replacing a tank water heater for a tankless). They are super professional and do outstanding work.For this job Don came out of retirement to do the estimate (thanks Don! Don’t work to hard in retirement). Kevin and his crew came to do the work and we have been very pleased with the outcome. Everything is neat and tidy and looking good. Definitely would recommend core plumbing to everyone I know.

Greg is a phenomenal plumber! He is friendly, professional, thorough and so helpful. He took the time to draw the basics of how the plumbing works for each needed repair. He examined the issues, even took pictures in very hard to reach areas so the he could show me where work was needed. He then sat down and explained all the options, without trying to sell me on any particular one. He really wanted me to know what my options were and left it to me to decide which way to go. After I made my decision, he went to work. Ordered any needed supplies, and fixed the things he could that same day.The second day he called to confirm the start time, arrived on time along with another professional, Jake. They went right to work and kept at it until the job was done. They cleaned up and Greg laid out all of my warranty and use information. Walked me through the repairs and doublechecked with me that everything was working.I couldn't be more thrilled with the work that Greg and Jake performed and with Core Plumbing. Greg replaced the valve that controls the fill level of our ornamental pond. He was very thorough and explained each expense/part in advance.

Core plumbing totally took care of my slab leak. Tim showed up promptly and laid out their plan to address my issues. Answered all my questions and got his team going. Tony and Jake verified the leak and got to work getting the pipe rerouted. They where professional and clearly more knowledgeable then past companies I’ve worked with. Eli came later in the day to help out. They all worked together efficiently and left my house clean. Core plumbing is the only company I’ll have work on my home going forward. Received several bids for a new toilet. They were priced fair and I felt most comfortable with this company. We had to have them redo work from The White Glove (ASI) just a few months ago and they took photos and showed us what was wrong with the terrible smell we were getting. Trust/honesty is important and these guys lived up to what they said. Would hire again.

I live in the house which was built in 2005. I had a water leak at the kitchen ceiling, which started a few days ago and water drop became more frequently. So I had to find any available repair company as soon as possible. Core Plumbing system was good to make an appointment, it responded with text message for update.Two technicians visited yesterday and this is what they did.1. They checked the status before opening the ceiling, /* after talking to the office */ they asked me $2151 for the fix. I had no choice to compare with other company as it was urgent and I trusted Yelp's good review on the company. Honestly, I thought this cost can be covered by insurance (but actually it seems not, it's on processing now) /* they didn't mention about that */. Also they suggested the damage restoration company who they work with and I agreed (I don't care how they connect each other, my concern was just recovering from the leak)2. When they cut the ceiling and located the cause, they said the issue was a pin hole on the cold water pipe to the upper floor sink but they didn't confirm why it was come from.3. After the first try, another hole was found on the pipe. They said while they applied the heat on the pipe it seemed to cause the other damage and another try would cause the new issue again.4. /* They suggested the option at this moment. Either re-pipe or re-route.Repipe replaces all pipelines at the house because the damage seems come from too thin pipe and may able to have the same issue later. But, I didn't choose that as it costs a lot. So */ I asked them just re-route.5. The job was done well, they needed to make a hole at the bottom of the sink but it was okay, the pipe was installed nicely.6. So overall, I have no complaint on their work.Today, the insurance agent came and told me the repair charge is way too expensive. The usual labor won't exceed $200 per hour. (If the first fix was okay without the additional hole, their labor charge could be about $1000 per hour!!!) /* Well, they would say the charge includes the leak detection also, but the insurance person checked the note provided by the technician and said it's still too high. */I have got helps so far from Yelp for other issues such as garage door spring replacement, water heater installation and sprinkler repair etc, all decisions were made according to the reviews here and I have been totally satisfied with them, I also recommended them to my neighbors and I even posted the recommendation comments on Nextdoor, but it didn't work at this time. I really don't know how to select the plumbers next time if needed, but it definitely won't be this company for me and my friends/neighbors (Don't consider too much on $20 online discount, it's nothing comparing to the actual charge).=======================================================================UPDATE: After I just talked to the technician who visited yesterday, I could misunderstand or there can be argument at some comments above so I modified from the original posting. Please ignore the lines between /* ... */. But, even removing them, the fact is I PAID $2151 FOR THE WORK OF BELOW PHOTO AND THEY ASKED THAT AMOUNT BEFORE OPENING THE CEILING. They keep saying that it includes everything, but what does everything mean? He also says I agreed the charge when asked, but how do I know that is okay price or not at that moment? Should I ask them to leave and call another company to come and get a quote to compare? The only thing I was able to do at that urgent situation was relying on Yelp review as I have done so far and I did trust them that they are not supposed to overcharge. Again, the technician was nice and did a good job, my complaint is on the service charge. However they completed the job well, it shouldn't be overcharged.IF ANY OTHER COMPANY OR EXPERT LOOKS AT THIS REVIEW AND THINKS THIS CHARGE IS REASONABLE THEN PLEASE LET ME KNOW, I WILL WITHDRAW THIS REVIEW RIGHT AWAY.

Tim, Kevin, Joey & Joe were extremely professional and got the job done. Very appreciative of their hard work as they spent the whole day at the house trying to resolve the multiple plumbing issues we were experiencing. Unfortunately, I've dealt with a lot of bad plumbing companies over the years, so dealing with Core Plumbing was a breath of fresh air. Kevin and Joey arrived right on time. They were friendly and very upfront on what they found during the inspection. It was more than what I wanted to spend, but the additional repairs were needed. I want to thank them both for doing a fantastic job. On the 2nd visit, Kevin and Joey did the pipe jetting. They removed years of buildup and now drains are completely cleaned out. These gentlemen are true professionals and I highly recommend them.

Core Plumbing sent Kevin to assist with a bad tub faucet leak. We had old Price-Phfister separate hot/cold water stems, which are quite outdated and often lead to leak problems if water pressure too high. Keven was great, friendly, explained everything he was doing to an old plumber. And, after checking our water pressure, found it was way too high, and our regulator had failed. A previous very well know big Plumbing Company came first, they did not tell me about or check my water pressure. If they had I would have know why the leaks were occurring. I passed on their job estimate, asked for a few days to consider the situation. Two other companies that came here did NOT check our water pressure first, they wanted to replace the faucet system w/o this check. I called you at Core Plumbing because of good recommendations by other customers of Core. Kevin replaced our Pressure gauge, and repaired a bad pipe above the gauge, that was kinked. Now the pressure is correct. Our thanks to Kevin, for his kind assistance. and Kevin came back, when I realized the arrangement of the new pipe around the pressure gauge, which included a water bib for hose water for the garage and front yard, was positioned in a bad way for my garage work station. Kevin quickly solved the problem and it's just super, the work he did! He had told me at his first visit, if the new hose bib was a problem the way he originally set it up, he would come back and adjust it, which he did. What a great asset you have in the happy, jovial, hard working and very professional serviceman, Kevin. Received excellent service from Tony and Christian, who were sent to my place to fix a leak at the base of a toilet and to replace the water valves to the toilets in the house. Tony explained all the work to be done in great detail, and the work was finished in a timely manner and was very high quality. I've used Core Plumbing in the past and will continue to use them for any plumbing needs.

Our repairman was Kevin, super quick, friendly, helpful and made it a point to clean up afterward.

My family's rental unit experienced a strong smell coming from the laundry closet. The plumber called me and told me that he could not detect any type of water leak but that it might be inside the wall. He admitted that he did not detect moisture on the drywall and offered to break into the drywall and take a look. I could not do that because that entails a major project. We believe that the washer, which is old, has a leak. That said, the plumber completely understood my hesitation. This is clearly an honest company and I wholeheartedly recommend them. They are not out to make a quick buck. I've added them to my cell call list and will be my go-to plumbers going forward.

My water heater was malfunctioning so I made an appointment with Core Plumbing. When Kevin arrived he realized that I had a slab leak. Through some ingenious problem solving, he managed to bypass the problem without a jack hammer and we ended up having him check all plumbing connections in the house. The pressure regulator was not doing its job and so that was replaced and he also recommended that we install a water filtration unit (replace the unit we had that was 12 years old and no longer functioning). The job took 2 full days. Mark joined Kevin the second day and they checked a number of other concerns I had. They were two very pleasant men that entertained all of my questions and gave concrete solutions. I had full confidence in them and would have to say I consider them friends at this point.

This is my second time doing business with core plumbing and once again the did not disappoint! I can tell they take pride in their service and sincerely accommodated all my plumbing needs. this time I had a garbage disposal install which they did seamlessly but on their way here my nieces flushed toys down my toilet and so they were nice enough to fix that too even though that wasn’t the reason for the appointment. I received service the same day I called Core Plumbing. Bathroom plumbing was bad, and it flooded the other bathroom. They fixed the problem promptly and then added another chase out to the house that we wanted.They gave us a price and stuck with it even though it was thought it was only 2 feet to dig down for the chase out and was a whopping six.Thanks to the team Kevin, Jake, Martin and Christian, we were finished in one day.Love these guys I would highly recommend them.

Greg and Cody showed up within the assigned time window and were very attentive to what I was looking for. I had all of my cutoff valves for faucets and toilets replaced and my outdoor spigot as well.I was working from home so they worked around my online meetings so i could continue working with interruption.They replaced all of my fittings in a timely manner as well as pointing out issues that i should be taking a look at in the future. No hard core sales pitch which I appreciated.I fittings work great, no leaks and all work areas were cleaner than when they started. I strongly recommend their services and will be suing them down the road.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!. I needed faucet repair in kitchen, shower and bathroom sinks.1. Kevin quoted $700 for bathroom sink faucet repair. I had no idea how long repair would take or how difficult the repair would be. Repair completed in 40 minutes. I am shocked at price for minor repair!! $1400 hourly rate!!!2. Said kitchen faucet was not the proper faucet originally installed. He recommended a new and different faucet. Quoted a price of $700 to $1,000. I had a different plumber come four days later and fix kitchen sink faucet in about 15 minutes. $50 cost!3. Said bathroom shower needed a new cartridge. Kevin was supposed to send a quote when he had more info on model. Had a different plumber come. Fixed shower in about 15 minutes. Nothing else needed.I responded to a request for feedback to Tim (manager) on Wednesday morning before 8:00 a.m. explaining issue with sink faucets. No reply! Called Wednesday afternoon, Thursday morning and Friday morning. Asked to speak with one of the owners. Tim, Grant and Don were all in the field and not available (for 3 days)! This is a company that prides itself on service and responsiveness. What a joke!!!

Just purchased a new place and found we had to deal with some old plumbing and decided on a few upgrades.These guys showed up and we went around the property, they listened to my requests, answered my questions and within 20 minutes of completing the assessment they had a quote for me!I approved and they went straight to work. The job wasn't going to be a small one, so they called in a couple more guys and had it done in 2 days. Everything was left clean, and they fixed a few things they found along the way without charging extra!!These guys do it right, so don't expect the lowest price, but you'll get the highest quality and great customer service! 10/10 would/will call them again!

I scheduled an appointment with Core Plumbing, around 8:00 am Monday, June 6th. Confirmed immediately was an arrival between 8:00-9:00 am Friday, June 10th. I explained whilemaking the appointment; my leak was stemming from the pea pipe in my utility basin in the garage. To follow I would receive numerous daily text messages and numerous daily emails confirming the appt. With so many “confirmations” it was very clear to me that my Dr. appointment at 2:00 pm Friday, June 10th would not have to be cancelled. Then, Thursday June 9th mid afternoon I receive a voicemail and I called back; that my appointment is now between 9:00-12:00 Friday, June 10th - and I made a point in telling the receptionist that this alteration of time could effect a Dr.‘s appt that I had long since scheduled.Fri. June 10th two technicians arrived at 12:12pm. I told them they were late and the senior tech simply and sarcastically said “Sometimes that happens!” They explained the options available. I choose the outrageous option and the least expensive of $396.00 which waslabor as I had already purchased the parts they needed. There quickly evaluated and concluded that I had accessed it correctly when I had made the Monday appointment. However, they explained to me they had to purchase a ring and it was not stocked in their mobile service van! They would be back in 30 minutes - left at 12:40 and back at 1:12pm.They finished approximately 2:02 and I missed my appointment!In conclusion; I could not be more disappointed; feeling taken advantage as a senior citizen and as a customer! The package quotes are absurd and there is NO accountability for the service. Extremely disappointed both my call and email have not been returned. Would of preferred to discuss rather than having to post openly .I can not in good conscious give a positive review unless they are reasonable with me and re-access this charge and equate this service with a reasonable and fair price. My time is just as valuable as the their time.

Greg responded within an hour to my call on a water main leak. He kept me apprised of options, alternatives and possible issues. I knew right away after talking with Tim over the phone this was the company I was willing to have in my home to replace the dreaded hot water heater. Don and Jake were great! They converted a dual handle shower faucet into a single handle and raised the shower head pipe about a foot, in a bathroom that I am remodeling. They were very knowledgeable and kept me updated and even gave me some pointers. Their price was fair compared to some other quotes that I had received and I loved that I was able to schedule my appointment on their website! Will definitely be using them again !

Core Plumbing installed a backflow prevention device at our townhome building. Work was completed on time and at the quoted price, despite some challenges outside their control. They also helped coordinate city inspections and documentation. I'm very happy with the service!

I needed a plumber to fix what started out to be one problem but quickly grew to be multiple problems on an old house I was working on. The staff were clear, thorough and logical with everything they needed to do and presented the estimate to the client over the phone while I oversaw locally. The client had a son in the home with special needs, and Core Plumbing’s staff were sensitive to that, calling other plumbers to the site to finished in 5 hours what could have taken two to three times that much time. I would definitely recommend them.

I had Core come out to look at my home for a complete re-pipe and tankless water heater install. Grant came out and was very professional and knowable. We had a good conversation and reviewed the requested work that needed to be done. After completing the walkthrough I was told I would have a bid in a few days. About a week later I received a one sentence email saying they are declining to bid. What I take issue with is there was no reason given. Having just retired from the construction industry. I have declined to bid my share of jobs, but always gave a reason. If you are going to decline job at least give a reason. Is the job too small, timeline issues, not in your scope ect. So a home owner can make the most informed decisions moving forward.

Core plumbing was very professional and did quality work. However, pricing is very high considering the job of replacing a cartridge in a shower faucet was $450. I think you pay for availability and online booking. If I knew the price was that high to begin with I would’ve not booked.

Core plumbing did a great job. I had them do a full rework of my 2 bathrooms plumbing for my remodel. They were on time, professional, and a far better price point than others I had give me estimates. Even came back multiple times at no extra charge when my tub spout had manufacturers defects twice. Third time was a charm though. Would highly recommend them.

Sink disposal was spraying and leaking water from the bottom of it after I had unjammed it. Sent out for quotes via Yelp but referred companies didn't respond fast enough and the companies that did, couldn't schedule me soon enough. Searched Yelp for plumbers near me and called Core Plumbing.5 starsfor the nice gal who answered the phone to assist especially since there was multiple calls between us that day when I scheduled the appointment and the day of the appointment. (I called on a Saturday afternoon and she was able to schedule me the following Monday between 9am - 12noon).5 starsfor Joe and Eli who came out to fix my disposal on Monday. They not only took a look at my disposal (which needed to be replaced; they even explained what caused it to break) but they also diagnosed and discussed other potential plumbing issues which included a cracked basket in the left sink, calcification of pipes and joints in the kitchen and bath, the need to replace water valves and, to repair the stop in the bathroom sink.Being that my home was built in the mid-70's, the sink basket was definitely in need of replacement and although the kitchen and bath pipes had been replaced in 2002 after another plumbing issue, the calcification was bad and replacement was needed. I gave the guys approval to do everything but replace the water valves which will be another appointment.Thank you Joe and Eli for your attention to detail, good work, and bring so personable and thank you Core Plumbing for your great customer service and staff!

The plumbing at our home backed up while I was out of town. Due to the emergency nature and it happening over a holiday weekend, I called multiple plumbers to see if they could fix the issue quickly. One came out, but couldn't determine the issue. Core couldn't come out until the following Tuesday, but immediately Don noted it was a sump pump issue. He was honest that he wasn't the best man for the job and immediately set up an appointment for Greg to come out. Greg diagnosed the issue, clearly communicated the options and fixed the issue with quality supplies and expert install. He was fast, efficient and pleasant. Honestly, I've never met a plumber I liked (always seemly trying to up charge everything) until I met Don and Greg. These guys are golden. I used core plumbing several times. Timothy was very helpful. We had our water heater pilot not working and no hot water for two days. He was able to fix the issue very quickly. Timothy was very knowledgeable and knew what to do exactly. Really appreciate the timely response with quality service provided.

If you want to know specifics, read on...I scheduled through Don S and he knew all the questions to ask so he could give me a ball park estimate over the phone (although this may not in all cases be possible). His estimate was based on NOT having to run a new 1 1/2 supply line to meet my needs.David arrived promptly at the agreed date and time. After insuring he understood my desires, he did a through analysis of the capability of my main gas supply line. He confirmed that my request could bet met by using the existing 1 supply line. This resulted in a cost for the service provided that matched Don's over the phone estimate. His analysis also confirmed that I would be able to replace my existing (leaking) water heater as long as I did not exceed the BTU level of the current water heater. This info was very useful as the next day I commenced with the water heater replacement.David completed the work quickly and cleanly and I could not have been happier with the result.HIGHLY RECOMMEND CORE PLUMBING!Note: If this reads like my review of Core on Yelp it’s because I am lazy & posted the same review there!

Core Plumbing came out quickly to check out a leaking whole house filter that lead to my water conditioner - they quickly ran through the pros and cons of just making the simple repair to go around the water conditioner, or forego the repair and just install a new system (the one I had was probably 15+ years old and no longer supported by the manufacturer). I decided to go with a new system and they were able to install the same day. The system and installation were pricey but they also helped fix a couple simple things around the house while they were performing the installation. This was my second time using them (the last time was also an emergency) and I definitely trust them with doing things right.

The two men who came out to fix our toilet were great (ones name was Steve). They weren’t just on time, they contacted me and were able to make it earlier than expected. My kids were napping when they arrived and the men were very courteous and quiet - my kids continued to sleep through the entire process. They were very professional, friendly and the job took the amount of time he expected it would. I was very happy with our experience and would reach out to core plumbing again if I have any future needs in this area. One other thing to note is they got us an appointment the same day we called, which is great! So happy we didn’t have to deal with a broken toilet any longer than necessary.

I contacted this company to unblock a slow running drain in our guest bathroom. When the plumbers arrived, they spent about 2 minutes talking about the drain blockage before trying to upsell me. They insisted on checking my water pressure (it was fine) and explaining all the expensive sounding repairs that would be legally required if there was a problem with the water pressure. We then moved to a discussion of my water heater (also not a problem) and what would be required to replace or repair it. Finally, I had purchased a $50 coupon online through Yelp. I was also eligible for a $20 credit because I booked online but they refused to honor that saying that I could only use the coupon. At that point, I asked them to leave. My drain still runs slow and I am still out the $20 I spent on the coupon so I am highly dissatisfied. I will not use them again.

The plumbers that came out were courteous, on time and communicated well every step of the process. I was personally contacted by the owner Grant, to make sure my service was satisfactory. This is a legitimate, family owned and operated, small business that values its customers.

Core Plumbing is truly a shop that cares deeply about their craft. It's hard to overstate how comforting it is knowing that you have a Plumber for which quality and care are their core values. You can really rest easier at night, especially with something as critical as your running water.I've had them out many times, including finding an insidious leak, replacing a toilet, installing a new whole-home filtration system (best thing ever by the way), and fixing a busted water pressure regulator. After spending three days with them while they did very large job in the hottest temperatures they kind of feel like part of the family. The gentlemen Don I spoke with responded immediately to our toilet plumbing issue and was very courteous. We are truly grateful we were scheduled for same day appointment. Jack came on time, assessed, quoted and started the work. He kept us informed throughout the process. When the job was successfully completed, Jack left our restroom very clean, sanitized and back to normal. Jack is a dedicated hard worker, friendly, helpful just an awesome person!! Core plumbing was friendly, but unfortunately, they couldn’t handle appointment fulfillment ( they made an appointment and then cancelled at the last minute). Grant installed a new toilet and a hot water recirculating pump. We bought the pump ourselves ahead of time, and we didn't realize that the mounting bracket was missing. He had to spend a lot of extra time making his own mounting bracket for us. He was very thorough and professional.

As always, Core is our number 1 choice to take care of our plumbing needs. Today, Grant and Miguel arrived and explained how they were to replace the drainage pipe under our sink. Joseph arrived to check on leaks and to evaluate the health of our hot water heaters. It’s a good thing he did. We have used Core Plumbing before and after a test of our old house and its needs we were happy to commit to all we needed to do to get us up and running like new. On the following Monday work began. Joseph and Irvin were efficient, professional and so easy to work with. This is the third time I've used Core Plumbing and both times I got excellent responsive service. I trust their integrity and honesty and quality of work. This time it was for warranty work, water heater controller had a small gas leak. They replaced the whole water heater rather than screw around with replacing piece parts. Great Work. I had them scheduled to show up between 9am and noon and they arrived about 9:30 which was great. Their technician, Zac was excellent. He asked informed questions, explained my options for my giant pipe clog and recommended some cheap maintenance for later. If you can find better service and techs, good luck. I have used Core Plumbing in the past to replace a broken water heater and had great work done, although it was pricey. Recently, I had a less positive experience related to a broken garbage disposal unit and when Core Plumbing was made aware, they made the effort to make it right, which I appreciated.

Ricky & Greg checked thoroughly for a leak in the wall, upstairs and down, due to a bubble in my ceiling. They also checked on my aging water heater and were able to do the installation, and were friendly, and helpful with bringing things up to code and explaining what needed to be done. Would definitely use Core Plumbing again and recommend them.Today Tony did a water leak investigation and analysis of my situation. He helped get my water back on and let me know how I could operate until the situation gets resolved. As a home owner of multiple rental properties, it seems like there is always something to fix - especially when it comes to plumbing issue! I worked with a large San Diego plumbing company for over a year and constantly felt like they were ripping me off. There was finally a situation where it was evident that the company I had currently been using was not using fair pricing. In a bind, I called Core Plumbing and knew from the my first impression on the phone that I was working with a professional company. Here is an example of an experience I had with them that shows Core Plumbing’s level of dedication to their clients. I desperately needed someone immediately on a SUNDAY. Don took my call and came to my rescue! Within hours, the problem was resolved and the pricing was beyond fair. I have had Don, Grant and their team work on over 10 projects at my homes. Zach was nice and quick on installing our new water heater. He was considerate on our baby and warned us when he would be using power tools in the house. Also fixed our popped pipe in the backyard and didn’t mind our dogs. Core Plumbing was excellent on letting us know any changes in time of appointment and arrival of the person coming. I had these guys come out initially to replace a water shutoff valve underneath my sink. They did that, and then performed a complimentary inspection of my plumbing system. They noticed that my water pressure was way too high and that my hot water heater didn't have a thermal expansion tank. The water pressure regulator had failed and that was covered by my home warranty, but the water heater wasn't covered. They gave me a fair quote and came out promptly to fix my water heater. The work they did was very professional, Miguel was polite and explained what he was doing when I inquired. We noticed after the work that our sink flow was terrible and Miguel showed back up as soon as we called and fixed the problem in about 30 seconds. We will definitely use Core Plumbing for our future plumbing needs as I'm very confident in their professionalism and honesty as well as their general skill.

We had our 1st appointment with Core Plumbing on Friday and Zach was able to at the top of our appointment window, which is always a plus! He was friendly and knowledgeable and got straight to work and was done within about an hour or so. We ended up having another plumbing issue arise the next day (Saturday) called up core and they scheduled us an appointment for 1st thing Monday morning. I was having kitchen appliances delivered, and unbeknownst to me, there were some plumbing issues so the installers were unable to complete the installation in my newly purchased home. I booked Core Plumbing based upon positive reviews and was able to get a same day appointment. David Torres successfully diagnosed the plumbing issues and resolved them. He came to my home not once, twice, but three times in order to complete the job since the installers did not carry out the installation fully. I’ve been suspicious about companies trying to price gouge and perform unnecessary repairs, so I was really happy when I dealt with Core Plumbing and they were straightforward and working in my best interest.I didn’t actually get any work done from them. I have an issue with my water heater that I’d like a quick fix for, but bringing the heater up to code would have been a costly task. They explained that in my situation (with how much I was willing to spend) it made more sense to go with a handyman. He also took a look at another issue I was having and gave advice for a quick fix. My kitchen sink was not draining, with two little kiddos and family visiting I needed quick service. I called and I was able to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. They send me a message with all the details about the job and who is coming to do the job. Then an hour before the schedule appointment they send me a text message to let me know that Luis was on his way. He was on time, he was very nice, efficient, clean, explained everything that was going on and what he could do to fix it, then we agree on the plan and it took him about 25 minutes to do it all. He was very thorough and left a sink and the area around it like nothing happened. I am very pleased with their service! Thank you Luis!

Bernard came early and was quick to diagnose the issue and provide an estimate for 2 issues in my apartment. One I decided to fix and another I planned to wait on until after the holidays. Tony was running a little late, but kept me informed on arrival time, so that I could plan accordingly. Tony also made a general check on the water pressure on the house. Turned out that it would run up to 100 psi, dangerously high, possibly putting pressure on faucets and pipes. So an expansion tank was installed. Good preventative action. Getting back to the faucet repair, he diligently worked to find a replacement faucet that was similar enough to my old one. Obtained it, arranged a time for replacement. All my issues were resolved within two days. Tony was courteous, patient, professional. Thank you Core Plumbing.

I just bought a condo, and it needed plumbing work. Core Plumbing was recommended by my neighbor, so I felt I would take a chance. I went online to their website, and completed contact information and within a half hour after emailing, Don called me! Very quick response, and was very kind, informative and professional. I set up an appointment, and Aaron was sent, he too, was very kind, informative and professional. I needed their services twice in a week, and both times Aaron (as well as another guy, and unfortunately don’t have his name) was prompt, the work was done efficiently and to say I was extremely impressed (which also means happy) would be an understatement!I highly recommend Core Plumbing for all of your plumbing needs.

We got an appointment pretty quick. Grant did ask me to move it up and said I'd get plenty of notice so I could get back to Escondido from Mira Mesa, that didn't happen. However, Zach was great, installed a new disposal provided by Core, installed new faucet provided by me and did annual maintenance on my tankless water heater.Zach was thorough and clean, great work, a little pricey, but I'm confident in the quality of the work.

When we found a small leak even after the repair, they found the cause for the additional leak, and fixed it at no additional cost to me. I booked an eval of our leaky gas line and the core plumbing team was quick to answer the phone and book the appointment. They showed up on time and provided an estimate. Our 31 year old main water line from the meter to our garage had a pin-hole leak near the meter. Core Plumbing was one of three bids to replace the line. Their bid was in the middle, but they were the most professional in assessing the job. We saved some money by having our landscaper dig the trench to Core's specifications. I was impressed that Core Plumbing insisted on providing the sand to protect the new 1 inch PEX line and do the backfilling and compacting. Communication with the company was excellent. Our crew of Greg and Eli showed up on time and were very conscientious and skilled. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again when the need arises.

I've used Core Plumbing in the past, and called again this week when our kitchen drain backed up somewhere beyond the outside access point to the drain. They came out and took care of the problem quickly and effectively by jetting out the drain, and gave us a six month warranty on the work. We've always been happy with the quality of work. Have never had to call them back after a job was completed, they're pleasant to work with, and they do their best to get here as quickly as they can.

I had an issue at one of my rental properties.. I had taken the day off so I can come and meet the plumber..They were supposed to show up 12-3. Then around 130 I was told by the plumber he was going to show up at 2. He was a no show. At 3:06 I called dispatch to see and they said he was in his way. At 3:30 I got a text saying he was on his way, then once I called again they said it would be another 30 min.? Am I supposed to trust them after they lied twice?I took the day off just to get this done. Then when I asked to speak to manager they said he was off.I did a yelp review and soon after I got a call from Tim the manager. He was condescending, rude, kept interrupting me, no empathy, called me out saying his plumber was a great employee.. blah blah. How does he hold a position as a manager? This is not the way to treat and disrespect a customer ? Wow now I understand what kind of business it's being ran and by whom.. no wonder I don't recommend this company at all.As mentioned I took the day off just for this sole purpose. 4 hours of my time that I will not get back

Tim came out to do an inspection before we waived contingencies on a house we were in escrow him. He was prompt, thorough, he went above and beyond to teach me everything he was looking at and WHY the repairs were needed. You can tell that Tim is really smart and loves what he does and there were a lot of things that he noticed and alerted me about that I would not have known if it wasn't for him. I can't say enough about Tim and I will definitely be doing all the repairs that he requested with this company because of the great experience I had with Tim.

These guys are not the cheapest plumber around but they won’t cut corners and do things the wrong way. After hiring two plumbers to do work for us, we had issues and they pointed out many improvements that we recently paid for that were not up to code and even some that were safety issues. Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of plumbers that lack training and experience, but these guys definitely know their stuff and will not cut corners. They were very friendly, responsive, and did not push services on us. I would hire them again.

Technician came to look at a low water flow issue in my master bathroom. Was told before he could complete any work he had to check my water pressure regulator. He told me my pressure regulator needed to be replaced because it was coming into the house at 80 PSI. The cost was going to be $1,898. There were lower priced options going down to $1,000 (less service checks, etc..). I told him I needed to think about it and he left. I called another Plumber and he came and basically made an adjustment on the setting of my current regulator and adjusted the PSI down to the appropriate level. Also, the low flow issue in the bathroom was the faucets were clogged with debris. Took him five minutes to clean them out. The CORE plumbers must be commission based plumbers. We had a great experience with Core Plumbing - they came out to assess and fix a natural gas line for an outdoor grill. They told me I didn't actually need to replace a part that I had thought was faulty, and they ended up sourcing and assembling a custom fitting to connect to the grill. It required a couple of trips over a couple of days, but we always had cheerful, professional and attentive service. There are definitely cheaper plumbing companies, but these guys offered a great value.

I highly recommend Core Plumbing. I recently had them come out and replace a leaking water heater. Tim and Zach did a great job on the install, very happy with the results. They communicated with me at every step of the process and kept me informed. Don was very helpful and responsive whenever I called about appointments and even helped me with some invoice requests. Plumbing issues are not fun to deal with, but Core Plumbing made the experience a little better.

Core sent out 2 very nice guys to install a faucet and pot filler that I purchased. They couldn't give me a quote over the phone and when they gave it to me in person it was over twice as much as the others I got. It went in with no problem later that day with another company at a reasonable price.

Not only did they fix my leak and get my hot water flowing, but they also fixed and cleaned up some shoddy work from a previous plumber. Core will be my first choice next time. A+++

I added that I wanted to do the annual maintenance on my tankless hot water heater too. I got the appointment I wanted...first thing Monday morning!David Torres was the service guy who came to give the estimate. I felt it was a reasonable one so I agreed to have him do the work. He was professional, reliable, efficient, knowledgeable & he has great communication skills. He answered all my questions very satisfactorily. My leak required 2 new replacement parts one of which was unfortunately out of stock locally. David promised to return as soon as my part came in. For my inconvenience, I was offered a discount which I gladly accepted. David returned as promised. He installed the new parts & also cleaned my existing connecting brass nuts that did not need replacing. Awesome and no more leaks!

Great experience with a plumbing issue. The plumber notified us when he was leaving the shop and was on time to our appointment. Very friendly and efficient service. We has a slight issues with the kitchen faucet which he fixed in a few minutes. We only had to pay for the service call. Will definitely use Core Plumbing again! I love that as I hate talking on the phone. By the time he left my receipt was already in my inbox. You're a joke. I had to proactively reach out to you 3x to make sure you could do the job and connect with my landlord appropriately. You said you would and it should be no problem. I was explicit that they were oversees and could only connect via email and would need a few days because of time difference, you said no problem. Then you called me the day of our appt saying that you decided not to and instead cancel the job.Shane who came out to assess the initial issue was very professional and kind.

I was pleasantly surprised that appointments were available in my desired time frame.Zach and his apprentice arrived on time and reviewed all of my plumbing systems to advise me on any additional work I might consider. He provided good advice on the urgency of some preventative maintenance. He did not try to push additional services but made sure I was well educated on aspects that I should keep my eye on.They then proceeded to perform the original work I had requested (faucet replacement and replacement of angle stops, along with removal of a screw for the shower cleanout cover that had snapped due to corrosion).I am very pleased with the quality of the work and the way they cleaned up after themselves. Based on my experience I would highly recommend CORE plumbing. We’ve used Core Plumbing twice for toilet issues and both times bought new toilets from them (about $500 each). When we called about one of the toilets they had installed 4 years ago, it was determined that the rubber washer needed to be replaced. Their estimate for replacing the ~$10 rubber washer was $289. Sorry, taking our business elsewhere.

We got a dishwasher installed. Unfortunately, turning the water on and off under our sink (old pipes) broke the flow of water to the kitchen sink. When I called Core Plumbing on Saturday morning they didn't have anyone that could come out but Don tried to help me troubleshoot over the phone. He suggested a faucet for me to buy and where to buy it. He sent Zach out Monday to fix it all. He did a fabulous job. We ended up having them install a tankless water heater too. The job they did is beautiful! They care about what they do and they are very professional. So glad to have found a reliable and skilled plumbing company.

Tony and Bern went above and beyond to ensure that the source of the issue of our toilet clog (MAJOR root growth/intrusion) was resolved. They not only removed the roots and applied weed-killer, but made sure that it would not happen again: they corrected what was a sub-level flange prone to leakage by installing a new flange and leveling it with our flooring using concrete so that the system would be watertight.Through it all, they were transparent and informative on the situation and took the time to answer all of our questions. As a homeowner, it was a great learning experience with the both of them on all-things plumbing.It's always a good feeling to know that these guys weren't just in-and-out looking to get quick jobs lined up, but genuinely cared about us and the long-term stability of our home.

My toilet accidentally overflowed causing water damage to my unit and the neighboring unit.I didn’t know a plumber and contacted one recommended to me by another worker on the property.The plumber was from a different company, came out and rebuilt my toilet with new parts, but even after I had the work confirmed by a leak detection company as having “NO Leaks”, the Restoration company observed the toilet leaking under the tank. This was within 3 weeks of the repairs from a plumber I couldn’t find a license number for or on BBB.I did a google search and found Core Plumbing with a BBB rating of A+ and good reviews. The owner, Don, spoke to me over the phone and listened to my situation and status of construction and repairs. He recommended work could be done upon completion of reconstruction.My situation was somewhat unusual and challenging as my neighbor had threatened to sue me over an “accident” and my being subjected to her emotional and reactive behavior with her writing the HOA and telling them lies.Needless to say, with this stress and the added stress of covid and people coming in and out my unit, it took every ounce of my energy to remain positive and take care of the issues at hand.Core Plumbing/Don and his crew were understanding as I told them not to discuss anything with neighbors. They were professional and knew their craft.Eric took pride in his work and is very ethical and professional. Great Company. I'm amazed at their service. We've been using Core Plumbing for a while for our properties at work. Today I had them come out to tackle a tough clogged drain. They've always been able to handle our plumbing needs (clogged drains and all). Today though, after three hours the drain was still not unclogged, and their new heavy-duty machine actually broke on the roots (thick roots) - see photo of broken drain cleaning machine. Even though they hadn't fixed it, I was expecting to pay a hefty price for the three hours of labor, and the service call. However, Zak said he wasn't gonna charge me because he hadn't solved the problem!I've very rarely met a company that backs their work with that type of genuine ethics.You guys are the best!

Broken shower handle. Came out and said $1500 and would involve cutting through our marble shower wall. Told them no and called a friend out of town who is a plumber. He said that was ridiculous (not the word he used) and that he could walk me through it. Was able to remove the old cartridge and replace with a new one. Total cost $50.00. Nice guys and Hannah on the phone was great. But really out of line in terms of what they wanted to charge

I had a unique job, to tap into existing hot and cold water lines as well a drain, to install / add a sink in our garage. They guys knew the tricks and observed the latest CA codes. Good guys, nice work! Clean! While we were there, they replaced our water heater, replaced and upgraded the entire system.

After checking online regarding other prices and costs, I was able to get an appt. for the following day for the installation of a 50 gallon gas tank. Some modifications had to be made to be up to the current codes, as well (my old water heater came with the house when I bought it about 24 years ago!). David and his partner were professional, helpful (a large storage set up had to be moved in order to remove my old tank and set up the new one), and efficient.I've only had the new tank for a couple of days now and so far, so good.I like the fact that Core is a long-time local and family-owned business.

We had to find a new plumber - some research led us to try out Core Plumbing. We were extremely pleased with their service. Grant did some safety checks and determined that the water pressure regulator I had installed about fifteen years ago had failed. Our water pressure was over 90 psi! We were getting a faucet installed, but it was fortunate to learn our house had high blood pressure that needed to be immediately addressed.Scheduling was easy using their website and we were kept apprised via text messages and emails. Our new faucet works great and we are already arranging to get some additional work done by Grant.

Zach Davey is all business with a kind heart. While to work was being done. I asked to watch. I'm glad they did not mind. I'm extremely curious and more then pleased when Zach Davey took my suggestion as his own. They finished with a clean purpose. I am more and happy to have core plumbing work on my house again.

Steve from Core Plumbing and his crew did a great job replacing all of the old cast iron drain piping both under the hose and at the kitchen and bathroom sinks. They were on time and efficient. They cleaned up and left the site in great condition

I had a clog in my bathroom sink. I’ve used “cheaper” plumbers in the past and quite frankly there’s a reason for the ol adage “you get what you pay for”. They were courteous and professional and not only unclogged my bathroom pipe, but addressed the “anti-gravity” plumbing that the builder put in in the 80’s. Easy to book appointment online. Very professional! A text was sent with a picture and name of the service technician. I received a curtsy call when he was on his way . The technician assessed my leaky faucet and gave me several options on how to fix it. He did not try to up sell me . I will definitely use Core plumbing again!

I called maybe ten places before I even got anyone to pick up the phone, but Core Plumbing was there! I described the issue- a possible leaky seal in the bathroom, and Grant (I think that was his name) was patient and thorough about describing what it might be, how the problem could be diagnosed, and what course of action to follow so I didn't waste my money on unnecessary stuff. He was able to send someone over the next morning- Josh- who was prompt, professional, and assessed the situation within minutes. The consultation fee was reasonable and cost less than I expected. We had our hot water heater blow out, and were without hot water. We called Core Plumbing and they came the next day. It took the installers a couple of hours to remove the old heater and put the new heater in. As the old unit was 12 years old we felt that it was not cost effective to repair it.We have used Core Plumbing in the past, and will continue to do so in the future. Cold showers are not fun!We will continue to use Core Plumbing for our Plumbing needs.We had our bedroom toilet stop working. Core got out right away and fixed the problem. We have lived in this house for 20 years, and things do not last forever. We count on Core for all of four plumbing needs.

I had a leak in the piping underneath my slab. My neighbor had a similar problem and recommended Core Plumbing. He was very professional and straight forward with what needed to be done and must say I was pleased with the estimate, as I had another company come out and provide one. We had Core Plumbing come to our home to give an estimate for a full re pipe .. Hot, Cold, and Recirculating lines! This is a huge, complicated job with lots of cuts out in stucco and drywall and then repiping involving a massive amount of linear feet of removal and reinstallation of new copper pipes.Owner, Don Schoenberger was one of the two inspectors. I found him excellent! He was extremely knowledgeable, asked a lot of questions, and truly looked beyond the surface. He knew his trade very well. He was not a pushy salesman, but rather educated me and informed me of what truly needs to be done. He made suggestions and options to consider that prior estimators never mentioned. One example was the benefits of adding a water filtration system for booth PEX or Copper pipes.We have not awarded the job as of yet to anyone, but we were very impressed. I felt, Don examined our home with the same kind of care, he would, if it was his own !

Came out and did an analysis of the work, which turned out to be a large job, and were able to prioritize their work schedule to meet the services at my house. We had a bad leak in our garage. Core Plumbing had a repairman out to our house within just a couple of hours of our call. He fixed the leak in about an hour and left the area neat and our plumbing working perfectly. We would definitely call them in the future!

The young guy was great, and then the expert (likely one of the owners) no bid on a hard job, and also no bid on an easy job for no reason. My guess is you didn’t like that I asked you to wear a mask. Feel free to defend yourself, but calling me a coward for leaving out these details is probably a bad move these days. If your happy serving only those who aren’t concerned about COVID, that’s fine. Your choice.

Core Plumbing did a fabulous job for us. They replaced a refrigerator water valve for our new refrigerator. Aaron was knowledgeable, friendly and honest about the repair. He did the replacement promptly and did a quality job.

They refused to fix my toilet. Insisted on doing a whole house review. Claimed a problem with regulator that would be over $4000 to fix. I never asked them to check my house. I have no faith in these people now. And to make it really bad they will not work on my toilet until I do this other work. extortion. I have never had this happen. And I purchased a voucher thru yelp that is WORTHLESS now because they refuse to fix my toilet. I am SO angry. This is a scam business.

A good plumber is hard to find; a great plumber is a gift! I called these guys based on their reviews, and our leaking water heater. The gentleman said I will call you back in 10 minutes (at 7:30 am). He did and was able to redirect and get his team there 8-9am! Water heater was 10+ years old so they replaced it and it was both appropriately priced and efficient! The team was competent. They had to move our W/D to get access so a tricky job but they recommended the best WH and we were thrilled with how easily we were able to reach them, how quickly they came out and fixed the problem that day, and the very fair pricing! Excellent!

I had a plumbing pipe leak behind a bathroom wall leading to water leak damage to neighboring bedroom walls and closet. I called Core Plumbing on Weekend and they came in on Monday on time and identified/fixed the issue professionally. The guy (Guy) really cared about customer, he not only fixed this issue but also identified/communicated another potential problem (high water pressure) and fixed it, the clean-up after repair is also nice. Second time I've called Core Plumbing with a semi-emergency, this time it was for a main line underground water leak. I had a leak detection company locate the leak and called Core Plumbing for the repair. They were able to work around schedules and came exactly when they said they would, replaced the leaking pipe and sent me pictures of the work while in progress as I wasn't in town. I can't recommend them highly enough! USE CORE PLUMBING for any and all plumbing needs!

Simple pipe pinhole leak required “full system check” first, which, (surprise) found an expensive and unneeded repair that “had to be done before could do any other work”. Thereby a $200 job goes over $1000. They used to be good but the business practices are horrible.

Had a leak at the road to house BAD PIPE, connection. Older construction using blue pipe from the original 1980s. Core Plumbing came out and fixed the pipe from driveway to house. used PEX type of pipe, better then copper and stronger. also fixed hose spicket at side of house, installed better valves. took 2 .5 days, but did so quickly and professionally, a lot of digging in that old mira mesa bedrock ground. price quoted is what was overall price.Just want to say thanks Core Plumbing for being quick, professional and cost saving.

Very convenient on line scheduling and good communication from the time I made the appointment online to the time of arrival at my home. Although a little on the pricey side, and one of my two plumbing needs didn't work out as I would have liked, they were very professional and did good work.

The guys at Core Plumbing are always wonderful - so professional, conservative in their recommendations, and very thorough. David has been our plumber the last couple of times and really knows his stuff.

Just to clarify the facts. There was no need to turn off the water in the building. The angle stops worked fine as I had disconnected the water lines myself. The faucet job was to unscrew the locknut under the counter for the single handle faucet and remove the old faucet, then install the furnished faucet. One hour job, tops. For $518.

We had Don to our residence to make a repair, then a return trip to diagnose a long-term hot water and pressure problem. Don is very knowledgeable and we were very happy with the results. I would trust him to deal with any future plumbing needs.

Timothy and Ricky came today for our plumbing problem. The original project were to replace shower head for clogging and change toilet bowl. But we added our sink problem too. Core Plumbing came to my rescue at almost 4:00 in the afternoon when I was almost sure that I would not be able to get help that day, leaving my tenants without water another night! David came out replaced the angle stops that had broken and were just pouring water into the cabinet. After poking around with my shower valve on my own (could only get hot water with low pressure) and figuring out something was wrong inside, I knew I needing to find a professional. I experienced low hot water pressure in my condo and called Core Plumbing.Don came out and said he heard the water heater going when he first came in. He suspected a slab leak and recommended we call Cable, Pipe & Leak Detection. Jose came out and found no slab leak. I was charged $230 for that.Don came out and gave a quote of $285 to fix the water heater which apparently was the issue from the start. In less than an hour he called and said it was fixed. I was surprised to have to pay $285 for one hour of effort. He gave me the story of how the plumbing world has changed and that a lot of plumbers only work by bids anymore.Essentially, for about one hour of effort, it cost me $515 to get a hot water nipple replaced which resolved the low hot water pressure.I would seek out a plumber who charges an hourly rate next time I have a plumbing issue.

This is my go to plumber in San Diego. Grant and crew are professional, courteous, and do quality work. They have done everything from replacing faucets to a new tankless water heater for me. I don't even call other plumbers anymore.

I had work done by David Torres, from Core Plumbing, to correct a leaky shower faucet. The plumbing was over 30 years old, and the faucet stems, outdated. So David replaced a two handle faucet with a single handle faucet, which required opening the wall to the shower, but to my surprise was covered with a plate so there was no having to retile or repair the shower wall, and the result looks like that’s the way it always was. You couldn’t tell there was a repair. And in the process of having this work done we had the pressure regulator replaced as the old one wasn’t working. So, the conclusion is, some substantial work was done quickly, efficiently and for a reasonable price. Thank you to David Torres, and Core Plumbing.

These guys are unethical and have horrible customer service. The owner was rude and refused to address our problem or concerns. By not following common sense procedures, they cut out a 3 foot section of the wrong main water supply (they cut mine, not the neighbors), and refused to fix the mistake unless we paid them $600. Since we were at work, they told my 16 year old son if we wanted water restored we would have to pay the money.We had no water all night, I fixed their mistake, for $9.28, and about 30 minutes the next day. WHY $600? WHY not fix a clear mistake by a Craftsman Plumber. These guys are crooks and total hacks!

I was quoted between $700 and $1200 to replace (2) elbow, (1) Tee joint and about 18 of copper pipe. My guess is material costs about $50, and 2 to 3 hours to install @ $100/hr. Then a +100% markup does not add up with me. To put this in perspective about 10 years ago the owner and his son put in a new main line from the street to my garage plus a new valve for about $1200 in about 8 hours.

I needed some older water pipes capped off. Once Tony and Eli got into the job it was clear the work was more complicated than originally thought. They made sure that the other problem areas of the piping were removed in addition to capping off the requested pipes.

We had a main drain draining slowly, we called Core plumbing and they came out the next day and gave us a few options to consider. They did a fantastic job and all is flowing well.

Quick response and efficient. Just a small tub leak and some other repairs found by Grant. My only complaint is that a ceiling had to be opened to find the extent of the leak and Grant said he had the name of a contractor to repair the ceiling. He never gave us the number.

I had a plastic cap from a urinal get stuck in my toiilet took less than 10 minutes to pull out and cost $150 and I did not receive a discount for booking online. Pretty pricey in my opinion but at least the water flows now.
