Joseph and Bronson, they're awesome and professional! We needed a shower handle replacement. Our old one had difficult rust that got the screws/bolts stuck in place, causing our water to not be completely shut off every time we pushed the valve in. Not only we were concern of water waste, but water damage as well. They did a terrific job, and were able to complete the tasks same-day of inspection. Their pricing is very reasonable as well. Also, Tina is such a positive customer service that tries to make clients smile, so thank you Tina! I'd definitely hire them again if I have another plumbing issue. After a major bathroom leak, Jose and Discount Plumbing came highly recommended to prepare the plumbing for the new bathroom. From the first call, Jose was very responsive and knowledgeable. He worked directly with my contractor and walked me through the whole process in layman's terms. He even came out to look at the old-1950's era plumbing to determine best steps to bring it up to code with a free estimate.I would highly recommend Jose and Discount Plumbing for your next plumbing needs. Discount Plumbing is our go to plumbing company! They have great communication, warranty their work, have flexible availability and really go above and beyond to ensure their clients are taken care of. Tina and Corey have been great to facilitate appointments for various services on multiple properties. We've used them for toilet and faucet installs, repair of showers and garbage disposals, fixing valves due to new appliance install and etc, literally everything we need.

I've had Discount Plumbing out to my home to handle several complex plumbing related issues. Tina's a breath of fresh air when she answers the phone! Harrison came out for my shower, kitchen faucet replacement, replacing my water pressure valve and install of a whole home water softener (so GLAD he recommended that; my dishes actually come out with NO water spots from the dishwasher for the first time in years!!) The company is very responsible, professional, and prompt. Most jobs were done with no issues after the service. There were some hiccups along the way where they had to come back to correct an issue they worked on. One instance was with my garbage disposal installation; I was told that the leaking issue under my sink was related to my dishwasher and to contact an appliance repair company, which I did. Turned to find out that the leaking issue was because the disposal was not properly installed. After correcting the disposal install and re-installing my dishwasher the problem was fixed for another $195 out of my pocket. I contacted Tina, gave her all the details of what transpired, and expressed my frustration and dissatisfaction. Discount Plumbing is all about customer service; Tina called me a short time later that day and said she spoke to the tech and the manager and that she was going to send me a check to help cover the additional expense I had to incur. I wish on these reviews we could give half stars. I can't give a 5 star review because there were times where I had to have them back out on a job; but if I could I would them 4.5 stars. They will continue to be my go-to for complex plumbing issues because the overall experience has been good.

Great service, prompt, and professional. Set a same-day appointment for an emergency bathroom sink issue. My girlfriend dropped a family heirloom down the sink and we weren't able to get to it with our own tools.Joseph showed up on time for our appointment and made sure we secured the ring. He was very friendly and ran the sink through tests to make sure everything was put back together and good to go. Mission Accomplished. I was so very surprised when after calling to book the service, Jose showed up like 10 min later! It's the fastest arrival I've ever experienced. I needed to replace my non working garbage disposal. Usually I would do it myself but this time I simply couldn't remove a bracket. So I called Discount Plumbing and was very happy to hear they answered right away. Jose informed me right away why I was having a problem removing it. We settled on a price and he got to working right away. He's an army veteran who served tours in Iraq and I could tell that he wasn't going to finish the job until everything was perfect. His work ethic was fantastic and I felt very comfortable with him. I had to work on the project with him due to some issue with plumbing code but he stayed to make sure my work was nice and good. We were experiencing some issues with our water not getting hot. Omar came out, he was very professional and kind and quickly addressed what the issue was. I've had Discount Plumber to my apartment twice now for emergencies and both times have been exceptional. My wife contacted them the day before about the gas valve and told me how great they were as well as the person who came out Jose was a veteran and super nice. That night when I came home we had some issues with the water heater. I called up Jose and he picked up and help guided me through what I need to do. In the end I couldn’t get it to work. He stop by the next morning out of his own time and help us fix the heater and explained to my wife what I needed to do for the next time. I am very disappointed in the services rendered for my plumbing needs. It took 3 visits until the problem was even diagnosed. Jose first came out and stated he needed the wall open to make a determination. Once the wall had been opened, he had been diagnosed with Covid so he sent a plumber in his place who was unable to make a diagnosis of the leak (Joseph). Jose returned for the job a week later and made the assessment but failed to complete the repair. They still charged me $500 just to complete the leak detection and not complete the repair work, despite me asking them to reserve the date for repair for me. Instead they told me they accepted a $120K job and that is their new priority and focus. I have since identified a new plumbing company who was able to fix the issue in 1 day for a total of $525. Please make this make sense. I called the owner, who refused to give me more than 50% discount despite me saying that if he didn't do the right thing by issuing a full refund I would dispute the charge and write a very honest review. DO NOT trust this company with your plumbing needs. They only care about the highest paying job and are not fair in their pricing or professional in the customer service they deliver to their clients. Very disappointed, plumbing repairs is already stressful enough.

Jose and Discount Plumbing were fantastic and went above and beyond to help us out. We received another quote from someone to fix our leak for $1,250 - $1,500, which seemed really high, and Jose agreed to fix it for $700.We called in the afternoon on a Friday and Jose was willing to stop by on his way home to see if he could help our water leak since it was a big leak. He didn't want us to have to go the weekend with water leaking all over the place and he arrived within 15 minutes.Jose tried to fix the leak but it was going through a retaining wall that was surrounding the pipe. The warehouse was already closed for the day and Jose couldn't access the proper tools to break up the concrete. He offered to come back first thing on Monday morning but rather than have us go the weekend with the leak he connected us to someone that could come out the next day to fix it for the same agreed upon price.Jose spent about an hour trying to get to the source of the leak, but since he couldn't fix it he didn't charge us for his time. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and didn't really get anything in return. Jose was also incredibly professional, communicated great, and wore a mask/stood a respectable distance to make sure we felt comfortable.

I had an exceptional experience with Discount Plumbing! My previous plumber was non-responsive and unavailable for weeks to replace my bathroom vanity and toilet. To my delight, Jose was available to come out the very next day! Jose was communicative, professional, timely, and efficient in every way. I called Discount Plumbing for a visit as the faucets were leaking and the water pressure was too high. Jose came in two hours, after investigated the problem areas in our two bathroom, he gave a very clear explanation on what the problems were and how to fix them. I called Discount Plumbing for a kitchen faucet problem. Jose came to repair it within the hour. While he was here I asked him to replace three shut off valves and install a new water pressure regulator. Jose does fantastic work. Things I like about this company: No Home Depot runs, they have what they need on the truck. They respond quickly. Their plumbers are professional and courteous, and they explain everything upfront and give a quote before doing the work. My room was flooded. I tried calling many plumbing companies in San Diego, but most of them did not give a free estimate and were not available for a few days. When I called Discount Plumbing, Victor and Kenny came less than an hour with a free estimate even though this happened on Father's Day. They walked me through everything and answer a million of my questions. They helped file my insurance claim and connected me with the right people with non-related plumbing work. This was my first leaking issue so I was worried, anxious and everything combined. Victor and Kenny made me feel at ease and walked me through everything I need to know. They were very caring and honest about their work. I really appreciated them. With the quickest service and a great price, I would recommend. This is the first time I've had a plumber (or any service person) show up exactly when they said they would. I made an appointment, and the next day, Jose and Marcos were onsite.I was immediately impressed with their polite and professional demeanor. I was having an issue with my washing machine, but I also feared a possible leak in the plumbing somewhere. Jose advised me that it was a washing machine issue after performing a diagnostic test. The price of the diagnostic was worth the peace of mind knowing I did NOT have a leak.Because of their honest approach, I booked a separate service on the spot. Discount plumbing is my new plumbing company for all projects. They are courteous, and reasonably priced compared to other estimates I received. Most importantly, they are honest. Give them a shot; you won't regret it.

Very unprofessional service. Called them for emergency drain cleaning, charged double the amount and wanted to cut some drain pipes to gain access; thankfully, I did not allow them to do that. The explanation provided was that they already provided me with a greatly discounted rate to start with, which has nothing to do with the work itself. The technician also left an unplugged drain, which caused flooding.Most of the visit was spent trying to upsell a restoration service and bill it to the home insurance, not actually fixing the problem at hand.

I can’t say enough good things about my first experience with Discount Plumbing! I called and was able to get someone to come out within an hour which was amazing. I was told Jose would be contacting me and would give me a closer time of arrival. Jose called within 10 minutes and gave me an ETA... He showed up on time nd was incredibly polite, professional and really nice! He gave me quote and started in on the job.. what should have been an easy replacement of a bathroom faucet turned out to be a much more in-depth job... My faucet had Ben leaking for a very long time and was so rusted together it took Jose over an hour to get it off.. Jose kept me in the loop every step of the way and was very careful not to harm my granite countertops.. He was relentless and finally got my old faucet off and put my new one on. I will absolutely use Discount Plumbing again... It isn’t easy to find a company and individual who is committed to closing a great job and customer satisfaction, but Discount Plumbing and Jose are! Joe came out and helped me with the plumbing pipe being clogged up. He was very cordial, and very helpful. The service is a bit expensive. In total of almost 400 bucks but without the proper tools I'd not be able to do it myself.

Jose Balderas had recently installed our new garbage disposal and did an amazing job. He was fast, efficient, informative and friendly. So naturally we called Discount Plumbing and requested Jose specifically to help us temporarily cap two water lines till the discount plumbing team can come over and properly close all the lines in our old laundry room. When we called; his schedule was packed, but still he graciously squeezed us in because we had to turn off our water till those lines were capped. Thank you so much Jose! And thank you for quickly scheduling for the following day to properly have everything that needs to be closed, discount plumbing will be our first go to for all our plumbing needs!

Joseph was AMAZING! He opened the wall, found the source of water loss from my pipe, obtained the needed parts, and despite a complicated effort to remove and install a new pipe, he stayed into the evening until he was finished. Joseph went above and beyond, and I am so grateful that he did such a great job and my problem is solved.

Customer service is top notch. Jose called when he was on the way and arrived between designated time. Once here I discussed the problem with him. He told me what he was planning to do and gave me an estimate. Once he opened up the wall he had me come over and take a look at what he discovered. Jose gave me the options on how to proceed and gave me his opinion. I could tell that he really likes his profession and has great work ethic. Great service, would definitely recommend to others. We called discount plumbing & rooter for a leak that we had in our main water line and they managed to get somebody out that same day a couple hours later.Jose arrived and he was very friendly and asked us about the leak we called about. He told us that he recommends calling the city before he went ahead and did anything as the leak was in the service box for the main water line. The city would be able to pump the water out and determine if the issue was coming from our side or from them. So we called the water department they sent somebody out and they determined it was an issue coming from them.Jose managed to save us time and money and from his quick visit, he was able to identify the root cause of the problem and get a good idea on how we could proceed to fix it. In November 2020 was having an issue with my laundry pipes. My laundry drain pipe was clogged for a while and we needed a very long snake to push through it. We had just had a drain access installed. I've used Discount Plumbing before for a big clog in our toilet pipes. Cody came through that first time and really hooked us up with his help. For our new issue with our laundry drain pipes I didn't hesitate to call Discount Plumbing again. This time we were sent Jose who came, handled business, and knocked it out the park in no time at all. Always appreciate their honesty and integrity, oh and their good business practices as well. I called Discount Plumbing hoping for a quick visit since the kitchen sink was not operational. Jose came to the residence in a couple of hours as promised and quickly fixed a cracked drain pipe and replaced the garbage disposal. Jose was on time, communicated everything clearly, and did a quality job fixing our problem. I would highly recommend Discount Plumbing and Jose!

So I had a clog in my main drain and called out discount plumbing. He went to work but could not unclog the pipes. He said i would still be charged the $400 for his time and that it would cost x amount to do this and that and blah blah. I said OK if I pay that though is there any guarantee that you guys will fix the problem, and he said no that they were just keep trying but still charge me more. As far as discount being in their name, this company is by far the most expensive company I got a hold of. I got multiple quotes from multiple different companies and they or double if not triple the amount of other plumbing companies. Do your research don’t use this company, they are a rip off and just in it to take your money. So many better companies out there that will get the job done for a quarter of the price and actually fix the problem.

I was worried that the corroded pipes in my wall would not be able to be fixed but Jose did a great job. Discount Plumbing is great! We had two bathroom faucets (along with draining components) that needed to be replaced - mainly due to cosmetic reasons and not due not working and figured we might as well have our two toilets looked at as they both were loose and not secure to the ground. Jose came over the day after we called, looked at everything, and gave us a quote to replace our faucets. The quote was a little high for us and after talking with him, he was able to give us a discount as well as include a price for our toilets too. He was able to secure one of our toilets back down to the ground although he saw the parts inside the tank all needed to be replaced, but he showed us that the other one was completely rusted out and recommended we try to see if our home warranty would cover fixing the toilet. We greatly appreciated his honesty rather than trying to do a quick fix that could break or become loose later on. Jose also offered us a great price to replace both toilets due them both needing new parts if our home warranty didn't fix or replace our toilets. What should have only been an hour job took about four, but Jose was great!

Jose from this company created a wonderful experience for me. I had been trying to install a bidet, but my water line was nearly impossible to disconnect and I did a lot of damage to it trying to unscrew it. I called this company for a quote/some insight as to if they would be able to disconnect my water line and replace it. Jose called me back promptly and gave me a quote to unscrew it (which was $0!) and walked me through what would need to happen if he couldn’t disconnect it.He ended up needing to take out the toilet from the ground- a timely and difficult job- and gave me a huge discount so it was affordable for me. And even installed my bidet afterwards!Throughout this process, I also had to reschedule several times and every time Jose was flexible and prompt with when he could come help that worked with my schedule. We had a clogged toilet that plunging and a 3 ft toilet auger wouldn't fix. I called Discount Plumbing and they scheduled an appointment for me as early as possible. Jose came, was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful, and got the job done! There were roots growing out of the pipes, which we had never seen before. But Jose quickly got it all out, cleaned it all up, and the toilet works perfectly fine now! He also gave us very helpful next steps for further follow-up regarding our pipes. I will definitely be using Discount Plumbing again in the future!!

We had our water heater leaking on Saturday afternoon. I contacted several company will be Discount Plumbing San Diego responded immediately and sent a company employee, Jose, within an hour. Jose was very attentive to our problem, spent more than half an hour of time, offered us several options for replacing the heater. I highly recommend the company and personally it's employee Jose.

Called these guys to replace a water heater because all my plumbing contacts were busy and needed replacement ASAP. They were courteous and quickly came to my property to provide quote. But that was where everything fell apart. They quoted me over $4400 to replace a 40 Gal water heater in a townhouse. In my opinion, they saw an opportunity to price gauge someone they thought was desperate. Luckily, the next day one of the plumbers I’ve used before replaced the water heater for $2100. I find it ironic these guys call themselves “discount” being they were anything but in my experience.

Jose came out to clear clothes washer drain line, erratically backing up.He performed initial check y inserting supply line into drain pipe, which accepted full flow for 4-5 minutes, no problem. He indicated no charge since he could not see any issues , he could correct. WE tried a wash cycle discharging into drain pipe , it quickly back flowed. Since we have a remodel to start today , and wall/ flooring will have to be replaced, he suggested that exposing the piping will better reveal the issue we have. Our garbage disposal was broken and called them. Joseph and LB came on time, they were super nice and informative. We had kinda fixed it the night before but they still came in to check, took a piece of metal out and fixed the crazy sound we thought was normal for did no even charge us.They are very professional and I highly recommend them! This company is incredibly unprofessional and poorly managed. Scheduled a plumbing repair and they gave a 2 hour window for an appointment the next day. My wife took off from work to meet the plumber at the house. Towards the end of the two hour window we called to get an ETA and a phone representative looked up the appointment and told us the plumber had cancelled it yesterday! Never a phone call or text to inform us if this fact. This place is truly incompetent.

Really great experience with Cody and his team on getting a new water pressure regulator on my main water line. Price was fair and they were extremely knowledgeable about educating me on the issues at hand. They even went above and beyond by checking the water pressure on my water heater, which was recently replaced. Would recommend them to anyone and will be calling them back soon to handle some bigger and more cumbersome jobs in the house.

Called came when they said they would looked at issue I called for gave me an estimate for what would be the solution. Said they would change a pipe and that would fix the leak and clogged sink. Gave me one price and then change it after they had started the job, said ok I asked several times of them doing what they had quoted would fix the issues and they said yes. Once job was done asked me to test the sink and guess what it clogged again and leaking started. So we are back to square one and short $850 after they gave me their professional opinion and estimate to fix the original issue! They started to blame the pipes and the old plumbing job told them why didn’t they snake the pipe before anything and they said because it wouldn’t make no difference. So they alluded to give me more ways they can fix the original problem I called them for. Quoted me another $1800 for a flush of the drain saying that’s what I actually need again after they had said that the pipe was the problem. So I said no thank you! I got another company to come and snake the drain that same afternoon and much to my surprise no more leak and no more clogged drain! So thank you for changing a pipe that had nothing to do with the issue I called for.

I don't get to post reviews often, but Jose really stepped up today and helped our family out! Like many of my fellow North-Parkers we live in a small 1 bathroom house, so when there is a plumbing issue there is NO waiting! Jose was out within hours and got our family and toilet flwoing again! I called discount plumbing san deigo our toilet and Cody came within 40 minutes as promised over the phone and fixed it in 5 minutes. He didn't make me feel embarrassed for the clog and was kind enough to clean the floor afterwards.We also had a slow draining faucet that could be improved using an enzyme solution that he had but explained that this may be caused by how old our building was. I really appreciate the honesty and his quick service. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Hey I just want to give this company a thumbs up !!!!! I had a plumbing issue a backed up line . I called a couple companies first and people said they were going to show up and they never showed up ? I wanted to leave this review for the professionalism and kindness of the staff. I needed to install a sink in my garage and was completely out of my skill set to complete it myself. Victor came over and game me a free estimate. Unfortunately the work was a little more than I was willing to pay since I will not be at this residence for much longer but that is because of my ignorance of how much is involved to make it happen. These guys are total professionals and I just wanted to thank them for making the time to help me understand what I'm facing with this project and treating me as valuable even though I chose not to commit at the time. You can guarantee I will call then when I'm ready to go forward at my new residence. Highly recommended!

Jose came by today to take a look at a leaky sink. He was really nice, professional, and wore a mask the whole time. With COVID we've been really nervous about having people inside but Jose was very clean and conscientious the entire time.We ran into some confusion with the estimate where I wasn't going to be able to cover the cost for a full diagnostic, so Jose took an educated guess of where the leak was coming from without tearing apart the whole sink - and he solved it right away! I had my water heater replaced very quickly with a great price and they left where they worked very clean. I contacted Discount Plumbing for a kitchen and bathroom faucet replacement. Their tech Antonio came and gave me a reasonable quote and was awesome. I told him I would contact him when I received the faucets so he can do the job. When I called him he said he could come Wednesday at 4pm, or would call me if he couldn't make it and would be at my home for sure the next day Thursday at 4pm. He never showed up or called me, I had to call him and he didn't answer. I called the main number for the business and the person who answered said that the window was from 4-6pm which I was never told, I was told he would be at my house at 4pm as I specifically told him I needed to leave by 5:45pm. The person on the phone apologized and scheduled it for Friday with a window of 2-4pm and even offered a 10% discount for the inconvenience. Friday 4pm came and nothing, I called the office and the person that answered said Antonio would call me. Never did. This is beyond bad customer service and completely unreliable. A phone call would have done it to say hey something happened or we can't do your job. But nope, nothing. Will never contact this business again.

Joseph was courteous, professional and prompt, and the problem is fixed. 30 day warranty on the clog removal is also great. 10/10 would recommend using these guys.

As a realtor, I respect responsiveness and quality over everything in these types of services. I run some rental units on the side, and one was having issues with the toilet and I was out of town for my birthday and could not make it. Not only were these guys there in LESS THAN 25 MINUTES, but they were done within the 45 minutes that I had called them and didn't charge me because they fixed it very quickly. This company was fast and easy to work with, I had a plumber out within the hour of my phone call to come out and unclog my bathtub drain. My drain would drain very slowly and it would have standing water while showering, GROSS! I had a coupon from the phone book and they honored it. I cannot believe these reviews. This company is a complete rip off. They do not quote service calls or hourly rates. They tell you the job price after they arrive. I was quoted approximately $600.00 for the job. I had another plumber perfom the job for $140.00. I cannot recommend at all.

We called out Discount Plumbing because we had a broken underground water pipe is leaking all over our driveway and down the street we called the Discount Plumbing main phone number and a gentleman by the name of Cody answered the phone and explain the situation he said that’s an emergency I need to come out right away he came out was there within 25 minutes shut off the water did a fantastic job he had to pull out concrete fix the water pipe being put it all back in one day I would highly recommend this company called he was fantastic thank you again Cody
