It would be 5 stars, but there was some scheduling issues in the beginning. Once started the guys worked very hard on a project that should have been much simpler, but due to the building standards of a 1950's house which must have required surviving a direct hit from a soviet nuke, it needled more cutting and demo than anticpated. They were very concerned with maintaining as much or the original tike and flooring to make sure we didn't have to replace too much. I was also very fortunate to be able to leave them unattended and work during the 3 days, the company as far as I'm concerned is trustworthy and Chris, Francisco, Herman, and Jose are too. The project took 3 days as planned, they worked the hours needed to complete the job on time!

Unfortunately we've been having ongoing leak issues at my home, and I've used Bill Howe for repair, replace, and remediation for all of our issues. They are always responsive, professional, and helpful, and I only use them for any plumbing needs since I found them earlier this year. Are they the cheapest? No, but are they the best, I think the answer is yes. Today I had Juan Lopez come out to make a repair, and he was beyond helpful, giving us good guidance on our go forward plan. We experienced a complete whole house plumbing stoppage and had no use of our facilities. We called our home warranty company for a plumber at 3pm on a Tuesday, and a plumber arrived the following morning, Wednesday, and attempted to clear the blockage with a snake that was too short. He worked for 50 minutes with no success. The following day, Thursday, they arrived without the larger snake or camera or hydroscrub which we requested. They just attempted to clear the blockage with a different snake, which did not look any longer, for 45 minutes and left saying he would call the Warranty Company for further advice. He never did this and we had to call and were told they would have to look for another plumber with the proper equipment. It is a good thing we called an outside plumber, Mr. Rooter, at this point as we never heard back from the Warranty Company.Mr. Rooter arrived within a half hour (11:00 on Thursday). They cleaned the pipe with a snake and used a hydro scrub, working for 2 hours. They made it to the blockage using a camera to show us the problem. They came the next day, Friday, to finish the work by digging a 5 foot hole and fixing the broken pipe and installing a cleanout at that point. They were able to temporarily repair it enough so we had facilities over the weekend and then came back on Monday to permanently complete the job.They were called on Thursday and completed the job on Monday, a total of 3 days, but we were able to use the facilities after a day and a half. It's always good to have a plumber with the proper equipment and attitude and they had both!We found them to be very responsive, professional, and sympathetic to our situation and we would highly recommend them to anyone with plumbing problems! I have used PAWS plumbing on a few occasions and they are always friendly, solutions oriented, fairly priced, available and their work is excellent. They fixed an electric water heater pump for me that was installed wrong by the builder, they’ve unclogged toilets and fixed a shower lever…they’ve also scoped my drains at a rental home and helped me locate pipes in the foundation. I trust them. They are my go-to plumbers.

We used American Plumbing recently. Initially I was intending to call a company I had used recently , which Charlie let me know in case I wanted to confirm the other company with a similar name. He had such great customer service and I was happy to work with a small business owner like myself that I went ahead and made the appointment. Boy am I happy to have done so. He is an excellent plumber serving San Diego area. He worked fast and has reasonable preces. I definitely recommend him and plan to keep him in mind for my future plumbing needs!

Based on 2 different jobs Collins has done for me, they're a good bunch of folks! First job was a gas meter relocation. Second job was hydrojetting drain lines - and they were 1/3 the cost of one of the emergency plumbers. No nonsense approach to addressing plumbing issues. Will use them again.

When you encounter a plumbing problem in your home you need help quickly and Ryan was responsive; he answered my call right away and I was able to book an appointment for the next day.
