My purpose in writing a bad review of Power Plumbing in Mission Hills, San Diego, CA is express my experience for future clients on the tactics they used to get a job by quoting a low price without a written estimate and then finishing the job and charging much more than they quoted. I called Powers Plumbing for an estimate to take out our old wholehouse water filter and put in a new one which we had bought. I had worked with Powers 16 years and trusted them. They also quote their hourly labor rate which we like. Unbeknownst to me they had sold their business to new owners.The plumber arrived and looked at the job and quoted us 4 hours of work $756, and said he could start immediately as he had installed many of the brand we had bought. He said he had all he needed in his truck to do the job. We said fine and went inside. Later he said we needed a new water pressure gauge, and I drove and got a new one which he installed and charged an additional quarter of an hour for that.When he finished and we asked the total figure, he quoted us $1,428.48 or $579.27 more or 41% more than he had quoted us. He said the difference was all the parts he used and he did not use the parts that came with the unit we bought. He never once mentioned he was going to use all new expensive parts or quoted a price. If he had told us this and given us a quote, we would not have used him. We paid him but after he left, we realized that he was dishonest in his estimate to get the job and we were conned! The next day there was also a leak from the pipes he installed. I called three times to talk to the owner about this, but he never called back and after calling and emailing to get a written invoice, we finally got a written invoice. About 7 days later someone called, and I expressed that the installation was leaking, and that we felt we had been conned. He said he would send someone out to fix the leak and that he would get back to me. When he got back to me, he offered us a 10% discount or $140 which I refused.What showed me that they are not an experienced, honest, and professional company is that he thought that it was perfectly fine the way they jacked the price up after the job was done in order to get the job and did not give a written estimate at the beginning of the job. We had a contracting business for years and would never have done this.Their work was good except for the leak, but make sure they give you a written estimate with a written guarantee (this will could take 3 or more days) before you let them start the job.

They answered and were able to come out quickly. Job was completed competently and quickly.

We will only use Anderson Plumbing should we ever need any plumbing work done in the future. Kristina Anthony, the plumber who did the work was absolutely phenomenal! She was polite, professional, friendly and she is all around awesome! We will request her specifically of if we need the company's help in the future. The company was responsive, timely and less expensive by hundreds of dollars than another company who quoted us a price for work we actually didn't need! Anderson Plumbing is the best company out there! I hope we don't have any future plumbing problems, However if we do it's Anderson who will get our business and we will request Kristina Anthony by name!

I’m visiting my brother from in California and imagine my horror that on my watch the kitchen sink starts to randomly overflow everywhere. I needed someone to come and fix it as quickly as possible. The worker who came out name was John and he was very kind, hardworking, knowledgeable, and informative. He got the job done quickly and effectively. Then he made sure the sink in my brother’s unit was fixed completely, and the apartments above and below before leaving. I would definitely recommend him and his company to everyone.

Mr Rooter and Francisco were great. Tried calling other plumbers we had used before they either didn’t answer, wanted to charge extra for showing up the next 1-3 days, or wouldn’t show up until a week later. Francisco installed the new water heater the next morning. BTW, he took proper COVID-19 precautions, with masking and distancing

Highly recommend All Star Plumbing Company. They have great customer service and are very responsive. We've used them for detecting and repairing an under slab leak and were impressed with their service.

Aaron came out and helped us identify our plumbing issues. He stayed in contact and helped us make the best decision for what we needed. He was a great plumber and made sure to show me what he was seeing, doing and how he would fix it.

5++ stars for Sami !!! Sami was our plumbing technician and he's super friendly and polite. He answered all our questions with patience, and replaced our valves and toilet pumps quickly and professionally. The next day our toilets have this ghost flushing issue and he immediately came back to fix it. Excellent service and reasonable pricing.

I have used American Plumbing Group multiple times and always have a great experience, so when I had a plumbing problem recently, I didn't hesitate to call them again. Their prices are much more affordable in comparison to other quotes that I received from other top companies in my area. I spoke to Ryan, who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Garrett came to my house to fix my issue and was so quick and efficient. They made my experience much less stressful! I will definitely use them again in the future!

Many plumbing companies refused to work on Sunday unless it's a big job. Grateful that I was able to contact Adam from Black Mountain Plumbing and he came at once, with detailed explanations what needed to be done. The staff also very supportive, i.e. Kathy, Robert. We hired Plumbing Tree to re-pipe our entire home with copper. This was a big project that took a week with 3-4 plumbers each day. Plumbing Tree did an absolutely great job, we are very happy with their work and their team. The team was courteous, professional, and very helpful with any questions or concerns. Freddy (owner) is very conscientious and really takes pride in their work. Some pictures of their work are attached. The best part is Plumbing Tree had a cleaning crew come in and clear our entire home, not just their work areas, after the job was complete!! We can absolutely recommend Plumbing Tree, great work, great team, reasonable pricing.
