Best Water Pipes in San Antonio TX

I've been using Chambliss for the last 15 years. It's a local family owned business and I am alway confident that the work gets done right. Today I had my water heater replaced for a cottage in the back and when I asked about the tankless they said for the usage it will get they couldn't recommend spending the extra money. They installed it on time, with no surprises. Job was done in two hours, they cleaned up, and even fixed a toilet valve at no additional cost. They are my goto plumbers.

Having constant clogged toilets has been a nightmare for me. After calling a couple of plumbers in San Antonio, I finally came across American Auger Plumbing & I was extremely pleased with my experience. The technician that arrived along with his helper were very knowledgeable in what they were doing, they were also very friendly and walked me through the entire process! Today was the third time John Gill has come to my rescue.First time was November 5th, 2020. My elderly step father needed to have a toilet fixed. John fixed the toilet same day and came back the same week to replace a toilet (not the one he fixed)The second time he helped me, I discovered a leak in the garage ceiling which is below my daughter’s bathroom. He took the time to walk me through what the issue could be. It turned out to not be a broken pipe but a leak between tub and shower faucet, leaking into the ceiling. This was in Early February 2021.Today, John replaced a faulty faucet in my elderly step father’s bathroom as well as the hot/cold pipes under the sink that are at least 40 years old.I continue to call John because he is reliable, honest and very thorough with his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is good people as we say in Texas!

I was looking for a second opinion because the first plumber we used was not the best. From day one Rafaela let me vent and reassured me every step of the way until the technicians could get out to the house that they would be able to help me. She gave me an estimate of what I needed to be done, which made me feel more comfortable because the previous plumber charged us $1,100. But the estimation from this company was only a quarter of that price. Even after a mishap from the Air mitigation time from another company Rafaela was able to dispatch a team to the house to do a quick valve replacement. The team that came out to do the valve replacement was Gerald and Craig. Mind you, I just had foot surgery and was mentally drained when they got to the house. Gerald and Craig were very understanding of the frustration I had and eased my mind. They basically made me feel like I had nothing to worry about and that it would be fixed. They did the job so quickly, and we were able to turn the water back on. I am so grateful for that team because if they did not come out, we would not have been able to shower. The team that came out to run a camera in my pipes to give my insurance an estimation was Luis and Timothy. These two were troopers. I had scheduled the home warranty team, the insurance claim adjuster, and Big City Plumbing at the same time. Luis and Tim were very thorough, upfront, straightforward, forward, and exhausted all means to camera my pipes. I thank god for this company that was able to help my family and me to figure out all these plumbing issues we have. If you are looking for a company that is really out to take care of you, you have found it here with Big City Plumbing. They offer a military discount and even a Client care plan. Thank you again to Rafaela for answering all my calls and questions. Thank you, Gerald and Craig, for coming to fix my valve and helping reassuring that I had nothing to stress about. Huge thank you to Luis and Timothy for being troopers today and exhausting all means to help me camera my pipes to find the root of my root problems. I highly recommend this company and will continue to use them.

If Zero Stars were possible.....These guys are out to scam you! They came to give my father-in-law a quote on replacing two bathroom sink faucets. The faucets were already purchased. Their initial quote was $625!!!! $625!!!! to install two bathroom sink faucets. Then after my father-in-law said no to that, they offered to drop the price to $525. When he balked at that they left, went and sat in their vehicle for about 30 minutes, then came back and said they had authorization to reduce the price to $375. WORSE YET... when he still said no they demanded $20 for the estimate! Uh... they could have saved themselves a trip by being able to estimate the cost of a sink replacement over the phone. I can't believe how they would try and take advantage of someone this way, it's despicable.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Alamo Plumbing! I would recommend them to my friends and family! There staff is knowledgeable, and they came the same day! We had an issue with the City (saws) and a sewer leak, and they took care of the paperwork need to appease SAWS, and even called in the report to SAWS! Thank you Alamo Plumbing!

Reasonable price. Professional service. Took extra caution and replaced new heater that he had just installed. It appeared to have a leak even though he knew the attached faucet was loose and stopped leaking once tightened. He wanted me to have peace of mind and got the unit replaced. Great customer service. I am a very happy customer!

Roto-Rooter was able to service us the same day we called at a very quick response time. We had great service from Randell who worked hard and fast to get our water back on and leaks fixed. He explained what he needed to do and the cost of the work with very a reasonable quote. We will definitely use them again!

These guys are great. They came out on a Saturday and replaced the wax seal under toilet. Very nice people. I will call them again if I have any plumbing issues.

The serviceman arrived on time and even called before arriving to make sure I was at home and remembered the appointment. The serviceman's inspection of my heating and AC unit was fast and efficient and he wore covers over his shoes when he was in the house to make sure he didn't track in any dirt.Overall the service was excellent and I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Aramendia installed our American Standard AC unit. It was a great experience from start to finish. Alan our representative came ready to work. He crawled up in the attic to the end of the house came down soaked with perspiration then measured the outside of our home to determine the square footage and the size of unit would be appropriate. He answered all our questions and addressed our concerns. He was transparent, down to earth and an Army veteran.Our installation technicians Marcelo and Rafael were courteous and professional. They explained what they were doing every step of the way. It was obvious they worked together for a long time because operated like a well oiled machine. They were efficient with little interaction between themselves. Aramendia was not the cheapest but represent the best value for the money. I learned that the hard way. I went cheap in the past (Sears) which resulted in a unit that failed prematurely due to improper installation. The adage rings true 'Cheap is never good and good is never cheap. 'I would recommend Aramendia to anyone and everyone because they are a top notch organization! Thank you Aramendia!

A great company , Sunday I had a water leak, behind the vanity units in the master bath, I called them and within a hr the plumber was there, they arranged to have the place dried, removed the damaged dry wall, and arranged for an estimate for replacement and repairs, they are dealing with everything, I highly recommend these people honest professional and polite, can’t thank them enough.
