David is very knowledgeable with a lot of experience and fair in his pricing. I actually called Dave to get a second opinion after the first plumber I called looked at a backed up toilet and said the sewer line needed replacing. Of the 3 plumbers I called for a quote, Dave did the most thorough job of assessing what needed to be done, including climbing on the house to assess thru the vent pipe (only plumber who did that) and running a camera thru the sewer line. He did the best job of explaining why so much work was needed on this 70 year old house, so since he seemed to really know what he was doing and cared a lot about doing a good job (and he had many great reviews), I asked him to do the work.It was a large job, involving clearing roots from a very large pecan tree some idiot planted years ago 24 inches from the house right where the drain line comes out from the house at the bathroom. In addition to removing very large roots, the job included trenching all the way across the backyard and through a 33ft cement slab to the city sewer tie-in in the alley. He gave me a reasonable quote based on the others I had, and a tentative timeline, depending on any surprises that might come up. His quote was neither the highest nor the lowest. He knows his stuff and cars about his work.Each day he started by letting me know what he hoped to get done that day, each day he finished by telling me how it went. At the beginning, he said that getting thru the slab to finish the trench might run into more expense if there were any deep ribs of cement to go through. Turns out there were deeper ribs, but he nevertheless kept the project on budget. He finished on time (2 week+ project) and at the quoted price. Cleanup was impeccable, the work was excellent, his subcontractors did great work, and he communicates very well.I absolutely will call People's Choice plumping for any other plumbing work I need done!

I purchased a water softener from Lowe’s and had it delivered to my home. I called several companies for an installation quote, and Peoples Choice was one of the few who were able to provide an over the phone competitive price. David showed up THE NEXT DAY to complete the work. He had all the parts and materials needed on his truck to complete the job. David did an excellent job and the installation looks fantastic. You never know what you are going to get when you call a plumber. Peoples Choice Plumbing provided a great customer experience and I would use them again.

David and B are professional, polite, and respectful of your time. They are a pleasant to work with and I would call them again for any of my plumbing needs. We needed a new Pressure Reducing Valve because our old one failed and we were getting 110 psi to the house. Called around and got the best price quote from People's Choice. David even went above and beyond to make sure our system was up to his quality of work even in connections that he didn't need to touch, all without charging extra. Highly recommend!

They're quick and easy to work with. Very friendly. First time I used them, I'd called around to a bunch of places and couldn't get anyone to really answer any of my questions. Dave was able to describe to me over the phone how to mitigate the problem and bypass the issue until he could come out the next day - he was able to get me up and running with a new water softener that has worked great ever since. There's a reason People's Choice is one of the highest rated plumbing companies in the SATX area. They were reasonably priced, got us scheduled quickly, got the job done in a day, and were a pleasure to work with. It was nice to work with someone who was honest and didn't try to up sell us on everything.Our sewer was backing up and we had a different company out who didn't put much effort into finding the issue and gave us a huge quote. People's Choice came out and ran their camera from a different access point and found the real issue which ended up being way cheaper than the other company (because the issue was isolated to one spot). By the end of the day we were on their schedule for only a few days later. They got the job done quickly and cleaned up our yard the best they could. Everything about the process was easy. They will now be my first call anytime I have plumbing work that needs to be done.

I have used People's Choice Plumbing for many projects this year. Having an older home something is always going on.. lol Each time i call Peoples Choice they were everything I expected and more. Even said if it ain't broke don't fix it what plumbing company will do that? This one! I always trust their opinion because i know that won't do something just to make a buck, hard to find now a days. No matter what time of day, all i have to do is call. I used People's Choice Plumbing to install a water softener a couple of months ago. The plumber arrived on-time and did an excellent job with the installation and answering any of my questions.The installation ended up being complicated, and he handled the situation swiftly and the right way. They followed up multiple times to ensure I was satisfied and having no issues.I will 100% be using them again for any future plumbing issues!

I have called upon People's Choice Plumbing on several occasions and they have always provided top-level professional service, from diagnosing a problem to completing its resolution. They are excellent at communicating what the problem is, and what options exist for correcting it, then performing any necessary repairs promptly. And they do all of this for a fair price. Among the services they have provided for us includes the repair of a leak in the yard (caused by root damage), replacing both a water softener and our water heaters, and diagnosing and fixing a faulty valve in the house. I recommend them as a first option for any home plumbing emergency.

I spoke to many plumbing companies and contractors trying to get help for some issues we were having. People's Choice was by far the company that showed the best customer service to us. They were very communicative, polite, professional and really made us feel that they genuinely cared to help. They are on our list to contact for any potential future plumbing issues.

It’s hard to find reliable and trustworthy people to work with in commercial applications, so integrity goes a long way with me. And everyone at People’s Choice has met & exceeded our expectations. They repaired several shower cartridges, shower heads, faucet cartridges and faucets, and swapped out an ancient gas water heater for a tankless water heater. They brought us up to code, repaired shoddy plumbing and gave us an endless supply of on-demand hot water. Simply couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we will definitely utilize them again when we expand and renovate our facility.

My beef is we called them out to repair a pipe. We offered more work repairing the toilet. Well they take the easy job of replacing the the toilet but decide to not work on the pipe repair even though that was the major problem needing to be fixed. So they take the easy job but leave the harder more necessary one.We had to call another plumber, that told us they had no problem fixing it.

I can’t say enough good things about People’s Choice Plumbing! B in the office was awesome in responding to my calls. She was very friendly and I appreciated her transparency with me throughout the process, especially when it came to scheduling in the crazy time when we all needed plumbers here in San Antonio. David was exceptional as well. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. David listened to what I wanted in the job and got it done right when he said he would. If you are needing an expert plumber who is honest, reliable and personable- I’d say you found the right place!

Well here in Florida I somehow Friended this amazing plumber, Peoples Choice, in San Antonio. Been following them and watching their “before & after” posts on repairs and renovation jobs. So I called finally for my own house ..... David, I think the owner, answered right away (and before open for business) gave me sound advise and offered to come see what’s going on. THEN we realized we are in 2 different states.Bottom line; I’d pay the service fee to use this company ALL DAY LONG. I called in the morning and requested a plumber to replace a toilet and also replace a wall outlet valve feeding water to the toilet. The receptionist was very professional and courteous and made sure the plumber arrived on time, the plumber was very professional, experienced and fast. I highly recommend people's choice plumbing.

David came and gave us an estimate and he repaired a clogged kitchen sink. The pipes were so old and he explained every detail of the job to us before going forward with the project. They came in and worked on it for several hours and did not deter from the pricing they had given us. They were all very professional, courteous and cleaned up any mess they made. An outside pipe burst during the Texas deep freeze. A neighbor recommended People’s Choice Plumbing when others were estimating they “might” be able to respond in two weeks..David and Gene were able to get to our repair in two days!They fixed the pipe, checked for other leaks, and offered suggestions for better winter protection for our pipes in the future. Frankly, given the circumstances, I expected to pay more than the $300.00 charged.I will definitely use their services again, if needed, and happily recommend People’s Choice to anyone who is looking for a great plumber.

Great experience! I had a broken pipe that required tunneling through rock. They shopped around for the best digging company and price for us. They kept us in the loop on when everything was going to happen and directed the digging company very well. Everything was done correctly and with professionalism and care. They are one of the very few genuine companies I’ve hired and will definitely use them again in the future.

Not only were they early for the appointment but they quickly addressed what the issue was and gave us recommendations on how to get it fixed without costing us a penny, as our faucet was still under warranty! When I asked what the trip charge would be they said there would be no charge. I ask you, where do you find plumbers that will do that? Not with any of the numerous ones I’ve used in San Antonio, that’s for sure! I will use Peoples Choice plumbing for all of my plumbing needs in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone needing assistance now!

After desperately calling plumbers during the freeze in San Antonio, for what I thought was one busted pipe, my son-in-law who was calling from Dallas was able to reach David. From that conversation I was confident that David was the plumber I would wait for. Due to weather conditions, it took a few days to get to my home. In the meantime, Office Manager Bee was compassionate and reassuring whenever I communicated with her. David found the original busted pipe and then located and repaired a second one. He did a great job! I will definitely hire him for any future plumbing issues.

Repairs to water main as well as fire hydrant replacement on the same service lines. Very on top of things and kept in daily status updates for work being performed. Quick, clean, good work for good price. We reached out and with in the day he responded and we were on his books. He explained how long it would take and we paid after service was done. He went above and beyond by re speckling the area which was open when he started work on it.

David is amazing. He is so efficient and honest. And very nice on top of that. After the job was completed, you'd never even know he was there. Everything nice and tidy. Used People's Choice twice now, once for a leak from the copper pipe to our dishwasher, second time for a clog in the drain line to our washer. Both times the problem was repaired quickly and on time, at a very reasonable price. Would very highly recommend, and believe me, I don't ever take the time to write reviews!

Just found our go to plumber! David and B, the office manager were great at explaining what happening and how they were fixing it. They included a great warranty on their work and did it all for a fair price. He was prompt and efficient. I highly recommend them!

Confirmed appointment 3 times , got all details including pictures , confirmed again but cancelled without any notice. Had to call them to find that appointment was cancelled. Will not use againUpdate - the response from your end is not accurate, initially when you called me you said yes you are booked but you will check with the team on the ground and get back. After that you called back (which I appreciate) and confirmed that if it is nearby , we can do it. Got my address and then called me back again and said , this is confirmed , one job was done early , they will come to your house. I called after sometime to check estimates etc and asked again for confirmation , the customer service person said , it is confirmed. After that someone else took over the front desk and then called me and asked me whether I can send a picture of problem. I sent the picture and also asked what time you will be here , she said by 1PM. I called around 1:45 to see whether they will be here , she told me that the appointment was cancelled. Please note that I had to call her to understand that the appointment was cancelled , ans I asked why , her response was - this is how plumbing job works, if something takes longer , they will have to cancel the next person in line and move to the next house.This is the first time I am hearing that this is how any business work , but even if that is how it works , why would you not call me and inform me upfront ? The customer has to call the business to understand whether it is already canceled? Please note it was not how you described in the reply, your 2 front desk people (one called the other assistant ) confirmed to me multiple times that you will be here. Even if you cannot , why would I have to wait for you to come and call you back to know that it was cancelled ?

Updated: They saved the day again! My bathroom faucet was leaking all over the place and as a homeowner, every repair is a dent in the budget. People's Choice came out when I needed them and did a great job at a fair price. I now have a faucet with a lifetime warranty. Very happy!I had a plumbing issue in my master bathroom and - of course - it happened around 8:00pm. I started Calling around to find a good plumber and I really didn’t want to overpay.I called People’s Choice and they answered! I told them what was going on and they gave me an approximate price and I set up an appointment first thing the next morning.They showed up on time, were very professional, let me know the possible complications and I approved the work. He did a great job, cleaned up and I was very pleased with the work. Best part - it was very affordable! I will be calling them again.

Called David for a quote to replace my water heater over the phone. He said $1660. He had the best price. When he came he said there would be extra cost to add a draining line and expansion tank. The total came out to be higher than the quotes that j got from other companies. But he kindly match and even beat the price of others. Very nice and kind and informative. Bee from the office is polite and communicative. I highly recommend this company. They are hard working and honest.

When making my appointment the answering service was prompt in returning my phone call and had great communication on when the tech would arrive and was able to give me an appointment the same day I called. I had a leaking garbage disposal that ended up needing to be replaced. They were prompt (like I said), knowledgeable, fairly priced, and polite. I had a water leak in the morning and David was able to come by later that same day to fix it. They kept me updated via calls and texts and once they showed up were able to identify and resolve the issue quickly.

These guys are great. They came out on a Saturday and replaced the wax seal under toilet. Very nice people. I will call them again if I have any plumbing issues.

Called them for no hot water. They came the same morning to evaluate and found it leaking. Recommended a replacement. The price isn't the cheapest, but the replacement work is well done and completed by the same afternoon. The plumber is skilled and friendly.

David was very knowledgeable and helpful when my water heater was having issues. He gave me a few different options I could try before replacing the system. Unfortunately I still needed to replace it but the installment went smoothly and I've had no issues since.

Do not use this company. David runs it with his partner B. These two do a great job of making you feel like they can be trusted and then lying to your face. I made the mistake of paying for work up-front and trusting People's Choice to deliver. What actually happened; David overcharged me by $500 for a vent that goes on top of the water heater (not on original invoice) and he charged me an extra $3,500 for removing a toilet and fixing two small leaks, I assume. Some would call it theft. On top of that he looked me the eye and said, I won't be screwing you over. I'm an honest person that trusted this contactor enough to pay up-front. The work was never accomplished. When he did show up it was days late and after I called him and B multiple times with different excuses everytime. He spent hours just puttering around confused, as if he did not know how to hook-up a laundry drainage. BOTTOM LINE: Total work accomplished for $6,375; A 50 gallon gas water heater bought and installed, a drain for a one sink installed, two small leaks fixed. YOU decide if that price is what you want to pay for work. You're welcome for this review.

People’s Choice Plumbing is the plumbing service we will always trust and rely on, no matter how big or small the problem may seem. When we first moved to San Antonio David and B came over to install a water softener. They did an awesome job installing, programming and explaining the operations to us. Because we were new to the home David also took the time to go up in the attic to answer some questions I had about the water heater, and then walked through our home and answered a few other questions we had relating to the plumbing.Today David and B came to check on a pressure and heating issue to the MB tub. They went over our options to increase pressure and heat by making changes to the existing plumbing, but also showed us by running a sink for a few seconds while filling the tub brings the heat much quicker. While they were here David also checked some spotting near a bathroom faucet that was causing concern as well.B responded quickly to setup both service calls and they were flexible in working around our busy work schedules. They arrived both times inside the appointment windows given and gave us a courtesy call when they were on their way. The service vehicle is clean and has company decals. David is patient and knowledgeable and has answered every question we have had. They also made a follow up call after installation to make sure the water softener was operating properly and to answer any questions we might have had (this was also a great reminder to add salt, as we have not used a water softener in previous homes).Never any pressure from David or B, just professional, affordable, top-notch service! People's Choice Plumbing is fantastic. David has helped us out multiple times on various issues/projects and we have had nothing but great experiences with him. I had an issue with a backed up toilet in November. Looked up and called multiple plumbers. Most did not answer or returned my messages. I called and left a voicemail with People's Choice Plumbing and received a call the following business day. The employee that came out was prompt and knowledgeable. Dave the owner sent a text informing me that the employee was on his way. Dave’s administrator was great to speak too as well. Issue was taking care of, no back up since the visit. I definitely recommend this company!!

I was doing some home remodeling when I had a leak at a very challenging location, right at the slab. I also had a very short window to get it repaired on a Saturday. Fortunately, David was able to get out there within an hour and fix it very quickly. He is upfront with pricing and very skilled in his trade. I will continue to use them as my plumber, and highly recommend anyone looking for a great plumber to give them a call.

David and Bee the office manager were absolutely wonderful. Our waterheater sprung a leak overnight and needed to replace it we called them for an estimate after 7pm we not sure if we were going to get an answering machine but David answered our phone call, he gave us an estimate over the phone. They had the best price from three other companies we called and they also could get to us sooner that other companies. They told us that they could be there at 11am the next morning and they arrived at 1115 and gave us a call to let us know that they were on the way. When they got here they looked over what we needed gave us an estimate, it was what they quoted us over the phone. So we decided to go with them theft to get the supplies and then they came right back. It was a we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend them

Shout out to David Wuertenberg of People's Choice Plumbing! My water heater had a leak that I discovered late Thursday afternoon. After I called, he showed up early the next day to determine the cause so I could decide on a fix. Unfortunately, the leak was from the interior and as luck would have it I needed a new one. Nevertheless, he was able to get it replaced the same day in just a few hours. He told me what was the cause and how to avoid it in the future with some do it yourself maintenance. Days later he called to ensure that there were no leaks and that it was working as expected.I was very satisfied with the results.I've dealt with some of the big name plumbers that advertise on TV and radio and I will tell you that their goal is to sell you something you don't need or fix something that doesn't need repairing. I know this from experience and from knowing others who are in the plumbing & HVAC business. They are only interested in peddling their wares and services and convincing you that you need them--far from being honest or ethical.If you have plumbing issues, give Dave a call. He was prompt, honest, and professional. And I'm sure it'll save you some money.

Great plumbing service. Have used them more than once now and they will continue to be my go to in future for all my plumbing. Prices are fair, David is very knowledgeable, and most importantly to me, honest. Called him for a clogged washing machine drain line. He told me he might not be able to clear it, but gave me the price it would be regardless of outcome. This was up front, BEFORE he did anything, which gave me the option of rolling the dice. Turns out there is a big root intrusion problem in the line (which ruined 2 of his snake's cutting heads) so he was unable to clear the line. He was very apologetic, but he had prepared me for the outcome, and gave me some options going forward. VERY professional and honest way of doing business. Much appreciated David. Will be calling you when we decide what we want to do about the line.

I just wanted to share again how awesome David and his staff are. Not only does he come on time when he says he will, but takes pride in his work and it shows.David has done everything from garbage disposal replacement, to hot water replacement to cleaning out my mainline. As recently as today he replaced the valve in my shower and really went above and beyond to help me.Do yourself a favor and make him the only plumbing company you call. It’s hard to find a good honest worker these days and David is the epitome of that. 100% honest, trustworthy and punctual.

I had a leak in my garage ceiling. I was able to send them pictures ahead of time so they knew what to prepare for. They figured out what the problem was very quickly and replaced a broken pipe for me that had been chewed through. They gave me suggestions on how to avoid future problems. Very friendly and professional service, but a little steep in pricing.

David and the folks at People's Choice (PC) are great to work with. If you are having trouble with your tankless water heater working these are the folks who can help you solve your problem. I dealt with almost 2 yrs of problems after adding a new master br to our house. I brought out 4 different plumbing companies and none could solve the problem and none would really listen to what i was telling them about the patterns in water flow. I called PC bc we'd head some good experiences with them on some other work. They took the time to listen, consider where the problem might be BEFORE jumping into the work, were very fair with costs, and flexible with appointment times.I've had a working shower/bathroom for the first time in 2 years and i couldn't be happier.Call PC first. I will.Updating my review since I first submitted three years ago...David came out in the last few days to help us with a problem in the kitchen. I called him before he came over. He gave me some advice on how to decrease total costs on the job before he walked in and then we set up a day/time. David came over, explained to us the problem and the solutions, and then we went forward with the repairs.We've worked with PC many times since my first review. This is a class act company and they are good with their customers. I've always called PC first and will continue to do so.

We got a random pipe leak right before our guests arrived for Thanksgiving. David was not the first plumber we called but was responsive, professional, and was clearly very experienced. The first company immediately jumped to the worst case scenario, and were threatening thousands of dollars for the repair. David came out for a free preliminary estimate and was very upfront about his pricing to diagnose the source of the leak, which we greatly appreciated. He was able to work us in the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and was able to quickly find the source of the leak and fix it for a very reasonable and fair price. He truly saved out Thanksgiving holiday since we were having to keep the water off before the leak was fixed. We would absolutely recommend this company for plumbing needs and emergencies.

We had a backed up clog in the main bathroom. Ms. Bea was gracious and so helpful to stay in contact with me to make the appointment for the Master Plumber (MP) David to come to my home. This past week, following a New Year's day pipe leak in our master bath, was our third time using People's Choice for plumbing needs in our home. Each time, we've had a very positive experience, starting with the responsiveness and timeliness of arriving at the job and all the way through with the quality of the repairs. They were very transparent of the work to be done and we never felt we were given unfair quotes and prices - we would absolutely use them again for whatever next plumbing issue we may have!

This was one of the only places that would provide a free estimate (and no service call charge) to tell me how much it would cost to install cutoffs on my bathroom sink. The charge for the service was reasonable, and David was able to accommodate my schedule and quickly complete the work. Other companies gave me a 4 hour arrival window just to look at it, so I'm glad that I called people's choice!

David and Steve promptly responded to my call about a leaky yard faucet. Dave immediately assessed the situation and fixed it within a matter of seconds. Unlike a previous plumber who said I would have to replace the complete faucet, Dave said it was not really necessary and saved me the expense of replacing it. He did not even charge me for a service call. I really appreciate his honesty and willingness to provide a kind service.

Of course the most urgent plumbing issues happen on Sundays. I called People's Choice. He picked up the phone, on Sunday, and stopped by my house within 30 minutes, on his way home from church. Issue resolved! Best in class service.

My Hot water Heater suddenly stoped working. After being mistreated by Armedia and told I could make monthly payments to them for 10 years, good Grief! ? We needed our kitchen faucet replaced. Steve is a very kind gentleman and was efficient and professional with his work. He made sure I was satisfied with how the faucet was sitting before he completed the installation. That was unexpected, but I liked his consideration.

Juan explained to me that it was a blockage in the drain due to grease buildup and showed me how he fixed it and how I could prevent it from happening again anytime soon. Our water heater was leaking so I called our Home Warranty Service provider to start a claim. I was curious what plumbing company they might send since we had no control over choosing the service provider. David Wuertemburg with People's Choice Plumbing LLC came out and assessed the situation quickly. Though it was late in the day he made sure to order the new water heater and get it to us early the next morning! His professionalism and response time, as well as quality of workmanship was excellent and I would highly recommend David and People's Choice Plumbing!

People's Choice Plumbing was great! Dave was out here within an hour and quickly fixed the bathroom sink drain which was affecting my a/c unit.

I got a strong recommendation from my Supervisor for People’s Plumbing he was very pleased with his work David came out the same day that I called. He was able to take a look and provide me some very good feedback and advice. He believed it was the PRV, the ( (pressure regulator valve), he provided a very fair and reasonable quote. He said without touching it I cannot know for sure. He suggested reaching out to the city, SAWS, because he could not guarantee if he fixed the issue it would solve the issue. SAWS came out several days later. And while troubleshooting he found that my PRV, pressure was too low, with some adjustment, increasing my water pressure, it resolved the knocking problem. I have not had a chance to do business with his company, but I definitely will in the future. Thanks.

When Dave came out the first time he worked his tail off to get our plumbing problem corrected. He was very fair on price and made it very clear to me what to expect since more work was needed. I will be using People’s Choice again.

David Wuertemburg replaced two faucets that supply my washing machine. The old faucets were so tight that I could not get them loose and I worried I might damage the copper pipe supply lines. David worked very hard to get the old faucets off without damaging the copper pipes. I couldn't have been happier with his service. I thought his price was reasonable. I will call him again if I have other plumbing needs that I can't handle.
