I have had nothing but amazing experiences every time I have used Caliente. It seems like today it is hard to find a company you really trust, has great customer service, and provides good quality work. Caliente is the real deal! I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs plumbing and/or AC work done at their home. Ryan is such a genuine, trustworthy, and knowledgeable individual. He has serviced our home multiple times, and each time, he has surpassed our expectations. The last time Ryan was out at our home, Danny was also there and serviced our AC unit. He too was awesome and provided excellent service. Thank you Caliente, Ryan, and Danny! You guys rock!

The plumber Ryan was available earlier than originally scheduled and was very knowledgeable and helpful. He communicated his findings to me and he was patient as I thought through the options for service/repair. I called my husband on the phone and Ryan was willing to explain everything to him for a second time. He took pictures of the damage and the repairs once completed.This is not our first time using Caliente. We are grateful for their service and their reasonable prices.Thanks Ryan!

So responsive! I was able to get someone over within a few hours of my call for help with inconsistent water pressure at my house. Caliente showed up within 4 hours after my initial call. The job was completed quickly by Ryan who is professional and experienced. He communicated clearly which made the process easy to understand which helped me decide which option was best for my family.

DO NOT USE. They do not tell you what they charge and then RIP you off. $742 to install one toilet that we had already bought. took one hour. Then said we needed a shut off valve for sprinkler system that would cost over $300. Lucky we called Atlas Plumbing they came out said we had a shut off valve and charged us $135. NEVER use CALIENTE EVER. We had a broken toilet so we went and purchased a new one. The person Caliente Plumbing was at our house for about an hour and charged us $742.00 to install one toilet. Then later that day he had to come out again as he had not installed it correctly and it was still leaking. This is Highway Robbery, do NOT USE!!

Alex and Ruben are top notch! They came out late on a Sunday night, brought us a portable unit and were very thorough, helpful and kind with the whole process. Arlene was thoughtful and understanding of the whole situation and got us Alex and Ruben quickly! Thank you all for taking care of us when we needed you!

Chris was very knowledgeable and completed everything we wanted. He was able to come out when needed, very polite, responsive, and helped with the process when it came to getting everything done for the insurance. Would highly recommend him and the company.

Three hours late. Understand they were probably swamped due to winter storm but did not notify me until I called them after two hours. Job was quoted around $500 and took less than 1hour to complete. Parts probably less than $10. Would not have accepted quote but water gushing for 3 days and didn’t know when I could get anyone else out. Used previously to replace hot water heater and water softener but will not use again.

Their estimates are a little strange - looked like they make up prices as they go along. Was supposed to have a camera go through my sewer line to see if there was clog which cost $200/hr. They didn’t do this and instead used a toilet auger to unclog the pipe which took about 20 minutes - price was still $200. They fixed the problem so no complaints on that.

I highly recommend this company. Bobby our technician was very knowledgeable and thorough explained what was needed for the repair. He was very professional and did an excellent job.

Jordan did a great job on the repair. Worked late on Christmas Eve to fix a busted pipe. After making a scheduling error, Caliente made good and still made sure my issue was addressed on the same day.

$870 to change out a shower valve where we supplied the valve? that's ridiculous. based on the time the plumber was at the house, that's about $350/hour. I called to ask why it was so expensive and was told that they don't charge by the hour, they have a price book where they charge by the difficulty of the job. apparently soldering is extremely difficult! give me a break.

Was extremely satisfied with the work and professionalism of Rafael, Ruben and Alex. Outstanding work ethics and attention to detail in the work put in. I certainly appreciate it and definitely recommend!

Had a great experience with Luis from Caliente Plumbing. They had an earlier opening in the schedule and got me in. Diagnosed the issue and had the parts on hand for the repair. They told me it was take 1-2 hours to complete, but they were done and out in under an hour.

Had a great experience working with Jeremy from CALIENTE Plumbing Heating & Air. Jeremy cleared a toilet drain for me, then took the time to help me select and purchase a new toilet (that he then installed). Additionally he replaced the hot/cold water shutoffs on a downstairs bathroom, and then replaced the vanity with an updated unit. Jeremy also took the time to explain in detail the work that he was doing, and why! A great overall experience, and the work was very reasonably priced. As a side-note, CALIENTE Plumbing Heating & Air contacted me from Angi’s list from San-Antonio, but they obviously have a presence in DFW (I live in Little Elm).

Ryan from Caliente Plumbing was a top-notch professional. He was here to flush our water heaters and perform maintenance on the plumbing in our home. He was thorough and took his time to explain any potential concerns - very knowledgeable. Mac is a good man, running an honest hard working company at the heart of San Antonio TX.I hired Mac’s services for a spray foam, open cell, insulation on a new construction (small building) at Floresville. The personalized treatment is simply great.The technician (that did most of the work), Mr. Rafael, is an individual with an embedded sense of good service and quality work.The work was done right, the cost of their service fair and on point.I recommend Caliente Plumbing Heating services.If you are in the San Antonio area and need spray foam insulation you must call Mac. Ask for his advice and ask him for a quote. He is competitive and does a good job!

Caliente is our go to for any plumbing needs. We have used Caliente several times over the last 3 years for various issues, from water heaters & drain problems to HVAC cleaning. Project was supposed to be completed early December. 50% was paid at end of Oct. 2022 Project was not completed until Jan 2023. I had to continuously call and email to get updates on parts pending for installation.

Joe did a wonderful job of explaining to me the problem and how he was going to fix it. He was very professional and cordial. I would certainly recommend him to neighbors. My only complaint is your are held hostage not knowing the fees and costs until the arrive. Well you do know there is a $30 service fee. I find this unacceptable and overpriced.

I called Caliente to see about having my washing machine shut off valves replaced (not urgent) and Garret was able to come out to assess and provide an estimate within a day. Garret quoted me a fair price for the job, which I was extremely grateful for. He was courteous, professional, and did an excellent job changing out the valves and hoses. Now the water is flowing freely in the washing machine, as it should be! I highly recommend giving Caliente a shout and asking for Garret for your next plumbing need.

Garrett came out a week ago, installed new water heater. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. A real people person. I’m very happy with the quality of work that he preformed, All in all I would recommend this company. I really hope Garrett gets the appreciation he deserves, employees like him are rare to find these days! If I need there services again I will definitely ask for him!

Very impressed with the service provided. We had several companies come out and your representative Kevin Edward(motorcycle guy) gave us the best review and explanation of our problem. The speed to get us taken care of was amazing. Jackson Sedlak and Chris worked hard for two days. These two were very professional and respectful of being in our home. Then the master AC guy Gary Freeman checked their work and made minor changes. In all we were extremely satisfied with the work and even signed on with their maintenance program. Very responsive and honest. My water heater valve replacement was flawless. Justin is a great guy, professional and on time. I recommend Caliente. Had a subsequent issue with my clothes washer and Garrett was able to diagnose and fix in minutes.

Had a non emergency leak under kitchen sink. Garret was here within 3 hours from my call. He diagnosed the issue as being a simple fix (reconnect a clip that the sprayer hose has popped off ) and *only charged me the servic call fee, which is a very reasonable $24.50. Others in the area charge $89 service fees--another indication of how reasonable Caliente is.That's honesty and integrity, folks. In addition, Garret has a great sense of humor. Caliente will have my business in the future, this was a very impressive first impression.

Very nice gentleman came on time.I knew where issue was and explained what I had done and with 90% assurance where issue was . I was presented with 4 or 5 options to undo a clog in restroom. Starting at $400.00 up to over 1000.00 ..I chose the lowest option. Clog was undone in approx..21 minutes.He did his job and thank goodness I wasn't gullible enough to take one of the other 4 options that weren't necessary to undue the clog. It's just frustrating to spend 20$ a minute to fix a item and if I wasn't aware enough, it could have easily reached $50 plus a minute ...If this is the way its now done today for the plumbing industry.then I'm in the wrong biz!!!

I needed to replace water softener and water heater. Caliente offered nice quote and I took it. The very next day, Justin and Matt were at my home early as scheduled and finished the work on time as promised. Great guys and nice work.

Garrett was great to work with... was considerate, very professional and did work above and beyond an already big job. Considering the amount of work that was necessary with a toilet back flowing into the shower (yuck), he completed the work in far less time than I would have expected. We had a clogged toilet and of course, we have several out-of-town family members arriving later on today, so no pressure, lol. Got to say, it's hard to find a plumber on a Saturday but Caliente Plumbing Heating and Air was spot on and responsive. The front desk person that answered our call was very cordial and helpful. They dispatched Joe w/i a couple of hours. Joe was very professional, knowledgeable , friendly and very easy to work with. He cleared the clog thoroughly and made sure the toilet was working properly before departing. Highly recommend these guys!

My experience with Caliente Plumbing, Heating and Air was very positive. They were very responsive and repaired what ended up being a backed up A/C drain line. Kevin and Roland came out the next day to give me an estimate to install a new Independant drain line and separate the existing drain line from the sink which would help prevent this from happening again. They were were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They took the time to explain everything that would need to be done and how it would benefit us going forward. I will definitely be using Caliente for any of my future plumbing, heating and air needs.

First, they showed up on time. They said they would arrive at 8:00 a.m. and they were here ready to work at that time. The issue was identified, and I was given a detailed description of the problem (without trying to talk over my head by using professional jargon). They showed me the repair cost before they started and gave me a list of packages to decide from. They resolved my plumbing issue in a timely manner and did so with friendly service. I will be using them for all other home repair issues that may arise in the future.

Ryan & James came out to fix and replace my water heater in 2019. 2 years later Ryan fixed a leak in my Manifold that another company could not fix. He’s very professional and informative. Great customer service as well!Even through snovid problems and working long hours they still manage to come out in a timely manner and provided amazing service working overtime to meet our needs and repair our leak. (Garage attic spray foam insulation) Everyone was friendly, they took payment 50% upfront and 50% after the job was done. I worked with a guy named Mac who was nice, helpful, and gave me all the info I needed before I even agreed to the quote. Did what they said they would.

Garret Heard came out on a Friday night to fix a leak and restore water to our house when no one else would. If it wasn’t for him, we wouldn’t have water for 3 days. He fixed the leak and cutout and replaced terrible work that was done by the original contractors. 100% would recommend him to anyone.

Garrett Heard was so professional in handling the job. I never met him other than on the phone, but the way he talks over the phone made me very comfortable because of his friendly tone. Rick was the plumber who came out and gave us an estimate for the work we needed done. He found we had a leak under the slab and we would have to re- plumb our entire older home. We got several bids from other reputable companies, but we had used Caliente to install a soft water system several years ago, so we decided to go with Caliente. This job took 3-1/2 days and we couldn't be more pleased with the knowledge and work ethic of Rick and Garrett. This was a major undertaking for us, but Rick was just a gem of a guy. He also installed a comfort level commode in one of our bathrooms, and after we try it out for about a week, we'll probably have them install two more. Rick said the toilet was circa 1975, so we guss it's about time for new ones!! The house was built in 1978, so it was also time to replace the copper pipe for the new stuff that contractors use. We were in good hands with Caliente. Thank you, Rick and Garrett, for taking the time to explain everything to us, for your good work ethic and your knowledge. You both are good people and an asset to your company.

Justin from San Antonio Caliente did an excellent job on replacing my toilet bowl. The customer service was great on keeping me in the loop via text messages as to when he was expected to arrive. They were accommodating of my time and didn't try to up sale me on anything. I didn't really price the service out so I can't comment on that but all in all I would definitely use them again if needed!

We built our home 30 years ago and have replaced our RO (reverse osmosis) system many times. It always took the water a long time to fill up a container, and many times I ran out of water when trying to fill a pot for tea or soup. Ryan from Caliente Hot Water Plumbing replaced the RO system last week. He listened to my complaints and quickly identified the problems. I love my new RO system! The new Caliente Life Water system is much smaller giving me the extra room for a second water storage tank. I now have a -Life time parts and labor warranty- I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing problems.

The call in people were great. Very nice! But the technician, Joe, lied to me that the part I bought would not work. Then gave me a ridiculous price on a new water heater. And when I asked for him to call me back. He didn’t call me until 3 days later.

We had a sewer back up today, July 4. Called A few places, no one answered or the mailbox was full. Called Caliente and said they could have someone out here between 1:00 and 3:00. It was time to replace our original water heater that was 10 years old. We wanted a new one to avoid catastrophe if the old one broke down. I called Caliente Plumbing yesterday and within two hours they sent Ryan out to speak with us. Ryan was professional and very helpful throughout the entire process.Ryan guided us in picking out the right water heater for our needs. We never felt pressured. We agreed on a unit and a price. The next morning Ryan arrived right on time and had our new unit installed in two hours. He even swept up the garage after!Throughout the day-and-a-half process, Caliente updated us every step of the way with text messages and e-mails. We have only had the water heater for a couple of hours, but I'm confident this new unit will be great. They also included a ten-year warranty.We couldn't be happier with their prompt service and professionalism. Ryan was a great representative of the company. We highly recommend Caliente Plumbing!

Caliente was hot yesterday. Haha! I called Caliente yesterday (05/19/21) and was graciously greeted and scheduled for next day service. Shortly after the initial call, I received a call from Caliente affording me an opportunity for same day service. I quickly said yes, and service began within an hour. Caliente, more specifically, Justin and Bobby, replaced the water heater and the water regulator. Both were professional, courteous and their work was outstanding. They cleaned up once the job was done and left site spotless. Just can’t say enough... Call Caliente and ask for Justin!

Caliente installed a water heater and softener about a year ago. One weekend, I was without hot water and could not get the pilot light to stay lit. I called Caliente on a Sunday hoping to get service early in the week. Not only did I get a live person, but they dispatched a technician who arrived about an hour later and fixed the issue. A big thanks to Ryan for coming out so fast, and to a company that not only does great work at competitive prices, but stands behind the work and provides great service after the fact. Justin Adams replaced our water heater valve and our water pressure regulator, and installed convenient shut off handle. He was very courteous, fast and friendly. The repairs weren't cheap but I feel like the job was well done.. Will call Caliente for all of our future plumbing needs.

Would give 6 Stars if I could. I will start off by saying that Caliente Plumbing Heating and Air is now the one I will turn to for all my plumbing needs. I was having issues with my water heater and called Caliente to schedule a time to have a technician come out. The ease of making the appointment and the amount of time it took to get a technician to the house was outstanding. Ryan showed up to the house, began troubleshooting right away, isolated the probable cause of my issue, then discussed the options to get everything back up and running. You could not ask for somebody more knowledgeable than Ryan. He took the time to discuss all options, the different products available the cost breakdown. Having had a water heater that was 13 years old I decided to go with a total replacement. Ryan showed up two days later as scheduled and with the help of Jared, he installed a new pressure regulator valve, water softener, and water heater in impeccable time. The professionalism and courteous service that Ryan and Jerrod displayed go above and beyond all expectations. Everything was installed to my satisfaction and the area looked even better than before they started. Ryan went though all the operations of both the water softener and the water heater and did not leave until I was completely satisfied. The owner should be completely proud of the people he has working for him. We have used Caliente for years. We have found their pricing to be very competitive but most importantly their integrity and professionalism are second to none. They guarantee all of their work. Had water heater leak! Called Caliente because we've used them before. Ryan showed up early but did let me know he was on his way! He checked out the water heater and gave me an estimate! He went with me to exchange the unit since it was still under warranty. Came back and in no time he and another tech had everything installed and working. They did an excellent job! Justin and Truman replaced our gas water heater and also installed a pressure regulator on the main service to the house. They did a very professional job and tested all of their work. Our water softener started leaking constantly at the drain pipe and I called Caliente Plumbing. I reached their office on a weekend and left a message. They called first thing Monday morning and had someone out to look at the issue the same day. Ryan came out earlier than expected and diagnosed our issue in a matter of minutes. Called Caliente Hot Water after arriving home to find my water heater control valve had sprung a leak and was spraying the wall of the garage.Ryan Ahnberg arrived and quickly identified the problem, explained what caused it, and quickly began working to fix the problem.Beyond the repair, he provided a ton of information and made everything make sense as far as what led to the failure of the control valve, along with different solutions to address future issues.Caliente Hot Water, responded quickly and was able to take care of my situation within the same hour that I had first contacted them.Other companies, with their claims of being available 24hours, could not schedule a service appointment until Monday (which is 4 days away from when my problem occurred.)I highly recommend this company and hopefully their technicians are as thorough as Ryan Ahnberg.

EXCELLENT Customer Service, from the first callback which came within 5 minutes of my online inquire. Dispatch called to inform me there was no charge for gracing us with their presence and scheduled an appointment. I received multiple informational emails and texts confirming the appointment, what to expect and then another text telling me the tech was in route. He arrived on time.Jeremy was very personable and professional. We described our issues, no hot water in the shower, and the other challenges we’ve had associated with the deconstruction our water department had been doing in front of our house for the past year. As well as the horrible experience we had with another “recommended” plumber, that broke our water regulator, charged us $450 and left us pretty much in the same state.Jeremy gave us two possible scenarios and came back with a part confirming his suspicion. The easy fix was $150, the other $350. We thought, “we know where this is going….” Jeremy came back shortly and said it’s done. We were Delighted with having a hot shower again and the lower price.Jeremy is such a good person. Caliente was the only 24-hour plumber of the 7 I called who was able to send someone out tonight, and what a find! Justin was AMAZING, and a fantastic welcome to San Antonio for new residents like us. He came late at night to replace our broken shower cartridge (which had forced us to have the water off for hours), then turned the water main back on (hallelujah—I didn't have to reach into the pit in the dark!). He also instantly diagnosed and fixed two issues in another bathroom, saving us hours of YouTube/DIY anguish. The quoting and payment processes were also super transparent and smooth. The experience could not have been better.

It took the freeze of 2021 and a frozen, broken pipe for our family to find a premier plumber. Caliente responded quickly to our pipe break, and then followed up downrange by returning to our house and examining our pressure. They discovered our pressure regulator was not where it should be on the house and offered a helpful and reasonably-priced solution. The first time we had a consultation with Ryan. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Turns out that our water heater was fairly old and had shut off at the breaker causing us to lose our hot water. This place does 24/7 emergency calls. I called a few others that stated they did emergency calls and was told they only make appointments 24/7. I needed my water heater replaced quickly. Ryan was the service technician...upon arrival he was courteous and helpful - we settled on the water heater of choice and he got right to it without hesitation. We just had our water softener replaced by Ryan with Caliente Hot Water. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Water line broke in the yard, late night around 10pm, a friend referred Caliente Plumbing. I called in the morning at was told they'd would be there within the hour. Garrett showed up, johnny on the spot, looking like Kurt Russell's kid Wyatt Russell. He dug a hole, replaced the piping and filled it all back in, 10 am and it was already super hot. He knocked it out of the park. A+

Rick was amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure our water softener worked right since the piping in the walls was all screwy. He fixed everything quickly and with care. He had to cut a hole in our wall to get to the pipes that needed fixed and he did it with great care so that when he was done he stuck the piece back in the wall and it was easy to just tape and repaint. I recommend him to everyone!

Alex was very helpful in figuring out what was wrong with the AC Unit at my mother in laws house. He checked in on her and even offered to let her borrow a window unit until the repairs could be made later that week. Initially we thought we needed to replace the whole unit but once they realized it was a smaller issue they were honest and informed us that we didn't need a new unit. Had a hot water heater problem that the tech was able to discern and fix within about a 2-3 hour period. Very impressive. He then, of course, tried to up sell us on a product that would prevent future breakdowns like this one (it was only $2k as opposed to $200 to just fix it lol) but we do not plan to live in this home forever. So the fix was a good solution for us at a competitive price. Would recommend these guys in any hot water heater situation. Punctual, professional and comparably priced.

Ryan is my super plumber ;)! Very diligent . meticulous. honest, and patient and gets to the bottom of the problem;)! Somehow a chicken wire mesh that was placed in the plumbing vent from the top , from the roof area, and somehow it dropped into the pipe and caused water logging and backed up of water in my toilets and bathtubs. I had a plumber to help me solve the problem temporarily but the drain got clogged again. Then I called another plumber , a licensed plumber, who told me that I had a slab leak and very costly to fix that, and showed me the photo with a broken pipe. But when I called Ryan, he checked with his camera and showed me that there was no broken pipe but a chicken wire mesh stuck in the pipe that dropped from the top of the plumbing vent, and he did all and ways and means to slowly push the chicken wire mesh out n pulled it out of the clean out. I had used the other 2 plumber for a few times , but Ryan got it all and really got to the root of the problem! I highly recommend anyone to use Ryan, because he is the real deal and the pro;)!!

They came out same day and gave me a quote which I thought was very high. I let them do the work because I didn't want to wait on someone else. They removed the old water heater and prepared for the new one and had water back on in less than an hour. Then they went and got new one and had it up and running in a couple of hrs.

When our water heater unexpectedly broke down, I called around for a replacement and found that Rick and this company were not only considerably less expensive, they were offering me the same equipment with a parts and labor guarantee others wouldn't. He was very polite and answered all my questions (and calls ) and was prompt. We are on a septic and our toilets were backing up. They came out on a Saturday and found the problem. Fixed and then put a camera down to see what was going on. Found our we had a collapsed fitting :( They came back Monday mornings and were able to trace where the damaged fitting was. Thank goodness it was outside. They took photos and sent me documentation of everything so I would know what happened. They were able to fix the same day. Will definitely use them again for all my plumbing needs. Wow! 5 stars all around!!! Called and within a few hours Justin was on site to diagnose an over working A/C. From the first phone call with Arlene to when the job was complete I could not have asked for better communication during this stressful process. Both put my mind at ease that I would be taken care of safely and efficiently. After Justin overlooked the issue, he discussed with me what he had found but explained it in terms that i understood. We now have a house the is cooling instead of playing catch up in this Texas heat which should tremendously help utility bill, and also a long term plan for lasting... more efficient options that were surprisingly a lot more affordable than anticipated. This was company made an anxious family’s dilemma into a surprisingly pleasant experience. I hope not to be calling anytime soon, but I won’t be afraid to have Justin or his company, which happens to service Plumbing as well, back into my home whenever needed! Thank you to the Caliente crew for being there when needed most!

I don’t know where to begin expressing my gratitude for Arlene, Jeremy and James. Our home was struck by lightening yesterday evening, which resulted in our hot water heater catching fire in the garage. We researched plumbers on Google and after calling a few who were unable to come same-day, Caliente had an opening, and 4.9 star ratings, to boot! Arlene (dispatcher) was incredibly sweet and said she would get someone over here by 3pm. She called us back at 1:40 saying Jeremy was on his way, early. Jeremy and James assessed the damage done, and quashed our fears about gas hot water heaters- renewing our faith in them all over again, promising they would make it right, plus guarantee their work and the unit for the next 10 years. Their knowledge, combined with their out of this world customer service was just mind blowing. (Pun intended ?)These guys are so amazingly professional, personable, knowledgeable and funny. I cannot say enough good things about them, and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!They have a customer for life!

I had left a 3 star review previously out-of frustration over how I felt charges were aggressive for work needed, however , I recieved a phone call from General manager shortly after.Through our discussion of how to look differently at these charges, I feel compelled to change my review and applaud this companies response and professionalism.

Justin and Truman found and fixed a leak we had on our second floor bathroom. The service was excellent! They were both so knowledgeable and helped me understand exactly what the issue was.

Although I have a warranty on my home, they warranty company couldn’t get anyone out here to help with my leaking water heater until next week! A customer is always satisfied when a job goes as planned, but what really sets a company apart when something is not perfect and how a company handles the issue with the customer. I called Caliente to replace my Culligan water softener that had failed for the 3rd time. Caliente dispatched James as my plumber. James arrived at my house 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment and was wearing PPE. James asked me a few questions to assess my water softener needs and we decided a mid-sized system would be the best sized system. A few minutes later James knocked on my door. James had the water softener back wash valve in his hand. He pointed out that he analyzes all parts before installation and noticed a small defect in the valve mold. James stated that this defect probably wouldn’t affect performance or cause a leak, but it was not perfect and he would have to go and get a replacement. The fact James didn’t try to cut a corner greatly impressed me and was very apologetic for my inconvenience. I have dealt with many trades who have cut corners, so this integrity was impressive.After much research I discovered that Caliente offers a quality product for a very reasonable price. (I paid a lot less for this system compared to my old Culligan). Caliente warrantying their water softeners (parts and labor) for 12 years is simply amazing. So far I am very happy with my new softener and impressed with Caliente’s overall service to the customer.

I had a water heater and water softener problem. I neede a fast repair and it was Saturday. Looked up Caliente on Home Advisor and put in my request, not expecting much. Rick called me, came out quickly, told me what I needed, gave me a fair price. He replaced both right away. I really liked Rick. He seemed honest and fair!

I had a leaking hot water heater and Rick came out to check it. Turns out I needed a new system, and he helped stop the leak until I had time to schedule the replacement. I would like to share my experience with Caliente Plumbing. We had Ryan Ahnberg he was polite showed up at his stated time and was very informative about out plumbing needs. We have Choice Warranty who denied our claim because they said the pipe was corroded which in fact it was not corroded after closer inspection from Caliente Plumbing. Ryan gave us the option to come back after hours to fix our wall leak, which gave us piece of mind and helped saved our hardwood flooring. He gave us a discount for being retired military. He insured us that he would not leave until the job was to our satisfaction. We where very happy with the finished product and will use them again and tell all out friends about what wonderful service Caliente Plumbing provided.

After having another company fail to replace my water heater (and they didn't tell me that simply replacing would not put my water heater up to code), Ryan came out - simply explained what would need to do and showed me pictures of everything. We had a water softener leak in the yard & call Caliente for repair. Our technician Jeremy Bogue was on time and very down to earth. He explained the repairs and what it entailed. When the repairs were completed, he even took the time to roll up our water hose & hooked it back up on the rack. Meant alot to us because we’ve had repairs from other companies & they’ve left a mess. I recommend them & they are permanent part of our repair team!

I went on home advisor looking for a water heater company. Within 30 seconds of me clicking the request estimate button, Caliente Water called me. The rep on the line was very friendly and had a completely open schedule. My appointment was at 0900 and the technician arrived exactly on time. After checking my system he made a few recommendations and since my water heater was 14 years old (wow!) and leaking we decided on replacing it. Can't tell you how competitive their pricing was as I did not shop around but they were able to remove and replace my water heater the same morning.

Rick showed up on time with all the equipment necessary to complete the water heater install. The install went as expected and took less than the two-hours estimated. Outstanding service is not high enough. I found water heater leaking at 1:00pm, looked on Angie’s list and ratings were top notch. I called and at 4:00pm I had a new 10yr warranty water heater installed, working, tested, cleaned up, and driver leaving. It gets no better than that.

Overall they did great job. However, the estimated time communicated to us, took a lot longer than they said it would be. Also, they showed up 2 hours later than they said they would be here - we did not get any phone calls that communicated the delay. That aside, I would recommend them, as they did a good job.

I was very pleased they came out immediately and had all the parts even a brand new hot water heater right on the truck so they didn’t have to waste time to go and get parts. Very professional staff we agreed on a price before work started that didn’t change even though there were problems with the way the old unit was originally installed 30 years ago. Caliente went the extra distance to bring the new hot water heater they installed up to code.

Found Caliente Hot Water through Angies list. They contacted me quickly and scheduled a visit. My water heater was out. Ryan came over and checked water heater and went over the new code requirements. My wife and I also wanted a quote for installing a new water softner system. Again Ryan went over all the requirements. We had a couple other estimates and Caliente's estimate was the lowest and the warranties were the best. Ryan and co-worker worked hard and installed a new reverse osmosis system at kitchen sink, new water softner system in garage including the new loop outside, and the new water heater all in one day. Caliente has easily become my 'go to' for my unfortunate needs lol. In the last 4 months we were hit with our water heater going out. Just recently the coil in the AC system needed to be replaced. Having to deal with our home warranty company has been a major headache & am ready to ditch that jazz. Caliente Hot Water came out for a diagnosis of our water heater that was leaking. Ryan was extremely professional and explained what the problem was. He determined it wasn’t actually the water heater that needed replacing, but only the expansion tank which saved me a lot of money. Our water softner had aged out and was time to replace, we called Caliente as we have worked with them in the past and got a great new system for low cost. They are a great family owned business who really cares about your pocketbook before theirs.

This morning, a Caliente company truck sped through an active school zone at Eisenhower middle school off Blanco at 8:11am. At Blanco and 410, the truck then cut through two lanes of traffic almost hitting another car to make the 410 on-ramp. There are other poor Google reviews regarding unsafe drivers with Caliente. Driver courtesy needs to be a higher priority for the company.

I had 2 teams from Caliente in my home (new AC/furnace) and water softener) at one time. The AC was definitely not an ideal situation since getting the equipment in place was pretty hideous. as the only access to my 'attic' is either spiral staircase or pull down attic ladder. The unit that went behind the house was pretty ugly, too. Both teams were very nice and professional. I'm a repeat customer as they can come out on evenings and Saturday if necessary. I'm thinking the ROI in the long run will be good with the new programmable thermostat.

Ryan the service technician came out to the house within 12 hours of calling the warranty company. The warranty company was not very good but Ryan was patient enough to let me argue through their red tape.Ryan went out to Lowes and went through more red tape to get them to accept the warranty claim through the hot water heater manufacturer. After an hour of issues, he was able to get Lowes to replace the water heater at zero cost.He came back and installed the water heater and made the necessary code adjustments per county requirements.Very reliable company. He even looked at my water softener and gave me some pointers.Will definetly be on my preferred hot water list.

Caliente Hot Water is a breath of fresh air in an industry saturated by upsell scammers. I have a home warranty and when I discovered a leak in my 11 year old water heater I submitted a claim through them. I was unsatisfied with home warranty approved vendor. Requested a cash out option and called another company that a co-worker had recommended. Those guys were worse than first company. Found Caliente via Google. Rick and Ryan were extremely professional and provided fast service. Definitely recommending them to all my family and friends. I also let my co-worker know about Caliente...poor dood is not happy.

Jeremy Bogue came to the house to do a sewer pipe inspection. He was on time, explained what he was looking for and answered all of my questions. He was very professional when he broke the bad news that we may need repairs via tunneling and yard replacement. I thought he was patient and nice to work with.

Scheduled appointment for water heater install. This business called me the day before the appointment to tell me they were down one plumber on the appointment date. When I called to make the appointment I was told that they cannot give me a quote over the phone ( hence the reason for the appointment ). When the lady told me they couldn't honor the appointment she started quoting the minimum pricing to install water heaters ( seemingly trying to discourage me from making another appointment) while asking if I wanted to reschedule? Very unprofessional and a big waste of my time.

My water heater was gushing out water. Within 15 mins, I had the owner at the house to access the damage. Once we ironed out what was needed, the new water heater was in place and working with 3 hours. Needless to say, this was on the weekend! Great job all around with price and service.

Wow just WOW!!! They say don't trust plumbers but after my experience with Caliente I will use and recommend Caliente to everyone I know. I got home at 1:00 a.m. and found our brand new house to be flooded Because of the builders negligence I called Caliente which was the 1st on Google search and they showed up not even 10 minutes later found the problem fixed it in about 30-40 minutes and when I asked the guy how much do I owe you he said Dude I'm not gonna charge you just let us know if you need further help. I'm not leaving this comment here bc he didnt charge me for his service (as late as it was) but bc this is somebody I can trust 100% for our AC, heater and plumbing needs and believe you should too. I received a follow up call within 5 minutes of scheduling the appointment on Home Advisor and offered a same day appointment. I ended up scheduling an appointment the next day. I received a confirmation call the morning of the appointment and another when the plumber was on the way. He was prompt and professional. He inspected the water heater and explained options for repair or replacement of a part or unit. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would use Caliente Hot Water again. The problem was resolved less than 24 hours from when I sought service with the company.

Took no more than 30 min to see the capacitor was off and then an long explanation of why it's 325 dollars vs 15-100 dollar a quick Google search found. I explained that it would be smarter for me to just not accept their overpriced capacitor and proceed to purchase and buy on my own. Suddenly the price drops to 275 and another long story about overhead and technicians hourly wage. Something I understand but common sense is common sense. I paid the man what he wanted but definitely feel robbed. Especially since nothing else was checked.

These guys were great and provided next day service to replace a water heater. Everything was explained, they work to clean and efficient. I would definitely recommend them for any type of water heater or water softener work.

This review is by Don Sorrells; I don't know why that Juan Cena name popped up. I called Caliente after 5:30 and Ryan was at our house within an hour. He inspected the heater and determined the status within about .15 minutes and presented the options. We made a choice and Ryan immediately worked on the unit and had it working within another 15 to 20 minutes and making hot water. Ryan was very diligent and extremely well informed as well as very pleasant to do business with.

James S. came out to replace a failed thermocouple. He was extremely patient and polite, when he first arrived I was not present, my girlfriend was and he spoke TO her instead of AT her. We had a pipe burst in our home over the weekend. The owner personally answered my call Saturday night at 8PM, then came out on Sunday to figure out the problem. He was able to put a stop gap measure in place so we could have water again, and send out a technician later in the week to fix the problem. Could not be happier. In the 100 year storm on Feb 16th 2020, a pipe burst in our attic. Called Caliente Plumbing Heating and Air and they had someone out in 5 hours. Justin (from Caliente) had found the rupture, cut out the section of pipe, and had the new line installed in about 15 minutes. Given the time of night & weather conditions, I couldn't have been more impressed.

They installed our water heater 4 years ago and everything is working well.

1st visit technician incorrectly assessed the issue and the resolution failed within 24 hours. 2nd visit the technician was 2 hours late for and didn't have the correct parts so had to schedule a 3rd visit. The new equipment installed on the 3rd visit failed within 36 hours. When I spoke to the owner Rick, the earliest he'd commit to was a 6-8 hour window from when we spoke. Not putting our life on hold for you for a 4th time Caliente! No thanks. My advice is to find your SERVICE elsewhere.

I have two services recently from Caliente. Both Bobby to fix a pair of leaks in a bathroom and Ruben to do our regular HVAC maintenance were excellent! Scheduling was fast and both visits went great.
