These guys were awesome. They were able to dispatch someone same day on a Saturday. When my assigned plumber was tied up with another job, First Call put another team on my job with no delay! Brandon A. and an apprentice came and assessed the issue with my water heater. They were able to replace it immediately and had it done in roughly an hour and a half. The work was fast, efficient, and super clean. They hauled my old heater and made virtually no mess. Awesome work. Will use again!

My house is 75 years old. I am located in an area that has large lots. I called three other plumbers and 1st Call was not only the best price but was the only company that could start asap. They replaced the gas line going to my home and inside my home. They were wonderful. They worked with my complicated work schedule during the holiday season. All of their employees were so pleasant and professional. They were wonderful at communication also. I have already recommended them to several people. They will be my go to from now on.

First off, I'd like to comment on Josh Haley's and his helpers professionalism, it was definitely superb. Their attitude and customer service skills were top notch they couldn't be any better. It was obvious, they both were knowledgeable as all my questions were answered thoroughly and with patience. Workmanship was beyond reproach. With such keen skills, it was obvious they loved their job. Highly recommended.

We had an emergency on a Sunday and I didn’t have high hopes for getting someone out there quickly, especially on a weekend. But 1st call plumbing had two guys at our house within 40 minutes! They quoted us 12pm - 3pm but arrived even earlier than that window. They found a foreign object lodged in our mainline and were able to get it removed. We’re in a new build home and a cutting tool was left in the mainline, so it was just a matter of time before we had problems.Can’t say enough how impressed I was at their work. The two were friendly, quick, thorough, and efficient. Definitely recommend!!

Simply the best service in the San Antonio metro area. Every employee we have ever dealt with from initial call to the technician that completed the various services we have had performed at our residence was courteous, professional, and highly skilled at their respective craft. Ryan has been very responsive when we have had house emergencies. The pricing is fair but it's the customer service that keeps us loyal customers to this great company that does it right every time. The company I feel is solid. I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off as far as pricing goes. They were super helpful when they came out to replace my water heater same day, so I called them again when I had a pipe leak in my yard. For this issue unfortunately the guys had to come out twice because the problem was in two places. Brandon & Gilbert came out both times & took care of us. I'm super grateful for this because I didn't have explain any issues & Brandon made sure to take care of said issues. If we continue to receive this level of service we will continue to use this company for sure.

I have used them three times now and have been extremely satisfied with their work, professionalism, friendliness and quality. I haven't had to call them back for the same issue, I purchased a home that had multiple issues creep up. They are pricey but so are most plumbers and they have a skill that I do not. They have never charged me more than the original quote and have always come out to give an estimate without charging a service fee like so many other services. I reccomend using them!

1st Call Plumbing came to the rescue when other companies couldn’t. JJ and his team arrived soon after the initial phone call and quickly diagnosed the problem and got to to work. They were very professional and knowledgeable in the trade. They also gave me a thorough explanation of why the problem was happening and what needed to be done in the future. These guys were great to work with and we're incredibly nice and incredibly fast. They came out on Christmas Eve to repair a pipe. They listened to a lot of my questions and even double checked to make sure that there was no additional damage after they had completed the job. I would highly recommend them.

We had an usual problem on Saturday evening ~8pm whereby our guest shower stayed stuck in the on position. (Had to turn off water to the house.) We called 5 to 7 plumbing services in town esp. 24/7 service providers. Only First Call was available, committed. Shortly after arriving technician (Eric G) diagnosed the problem (faulty/broken cartridge behind the shower fixture) and wrapped up within 1 hour. Technician was professional and provided an estimate for other recommended work. Much appreciated.

These guys do quality work on everything they touch. I just had my HVAC system replaced and added a water softener filtration system. They are very professional and the value-added services they provide are next level. I now have a soft water and a hard water faucet in the front of my house. My new car is going to love that!

I called 1st Call after a not very positive meeting with another plumbing company. Scott answered the phone, was so professional and helpful. He put me on the schedule for the next day, but then called later to say they could come today. Hooray! Greg and Trent came and quickly assessed and explained the issue with the water heater and gave me a couple of options. I elected to replace it and they had it installed in less than 2 hours.Now I know why they're called 1st Call! Awesome company and awesome technicians!

The plumbers that came out went above and beyond to unclog the pipe between our house and septic tank. Very polite and courteous. They cleaned everything up upon completion of the job. Will definitely call on them again if we are in need of a plumber!

I had my main sewer line back up into my house. Jake came out to clear the line that supposedly had just been cleared by another company 10 days prior. Jake and his partner were very professional and courteous he explained everything to me as he did it and no problem with me looking over his shoulder. He ran the auger as far as it would go which was approximately 15 ‘ from the sewer where he pulled out what looked like rags. He then ran the camera down showing me the pipe the whole way when he got to the point the auger stopped he found standing water in the pipe. Thank you for your help I have the city coming this morning to see what my next step is.

First time using this company. Excellent experience from start to finish. Called the night before to get my water heater replaced, and they were able to come out first thing in the morning. I had leak in my living room on August 24 of 2021. I wasn’t aware of how much additional stuff needed to be done like water mitigation, treatment, and drying out the sheet rock.I was left with the trash and the sheet rock in my living room. Purchased a new shower, bath and valve stem. The old stem was soldered and we could not replace. They drilled a hole in our closet, removed old fixture and put a removable cover over the hole in our closet. Otherwise we would have needed extensive drywall repairs in the shower. They cleaned up all debris and completed the job in timely manner

Huge thank you to Greg and Trent! We had a faucet that didn't work after turning our water back on and Greg and Trent were out and fixing our problem within 72 hours of calling in a busy city with a lot of burst pipes. They were on time (earlier than expected), didn't charge us to fix the issue (since it was a small repair - clogged aerator), and were phenomenal. Would highly recommend!

Previous contractor(not 1st call) installed a pressure reducing valve, subsequently we suffered hammering intermittently inside our home for weeks. Said plumber returned 3 times for correction only for the hammering to return each time. Out of frustration and lack of confidence in the initial plumber we chose to call 1st call. They came out same day and was able to locate the issue (incorrectly installed pressure reducing valve, it has an arrow and they still put it in backwards.) and correct it. Turns out we did not need the valve at all bc our pressure is within normal limits (64 psi) without it. So lesson learned here is our first call should have been 1st call. A very valuable lesson learned. Thank you Bradley and Brian for doing such a great job, quickly and without incident. Also for answering my many questions and your knowledgeable explanations. I will ask for yall by name in the future. Thank you ?

Prompt, did quality work and communicated well. First Call diagnosed the issue within the first 3 minutes they were on sight. was held back by the city and First Call did a great job of being patient and were quick to respond after our meter was changed out by the city. Would definitely use them again and highly recommended.

Please, do not waste your time with the other companies in San Antonio. First time I used this company was for a commercial stoppage. They were the 3rd company to come out to find out what the issue was, and within 30 minutes the problem was located. The 2nd time I used this company was for a DIY project that went crazy. Dispatch was lovely! Eric showed up early, within 15 minutes I had a FREE estimate that was very reasonable, we accepted the estimate and the issue was corrected. What a great Team at First Call. We had a major leak in our yard occur yesterday late in the day. Jake and Joel from 1st Call Plumbing came out after 5:00 PM and found the leak, fixed the problem, tested the system & pressure. They also took time to show us what they had done to correct the problem. They stayed until the problem was fixed, which was after 9:00 PM! Very helpful, professional, courteous and positive attitude. We can't thank you enough!

A defect on our new Moen kitchen faucet caused a 3/8 inch separation of the upper faucet from the bottom faucet body. After receiving warranty parts from Moen, we called 1st Call Plumbing and specifically requested Josh and Joel to do the repair. They removed the internal water hose, retightened the blue support collar, replaced C rings and O ring, and reassembled the kitchen faucet. The loose blue support collar was the cause of the problem. Would never tell anyone to use this company. Techs are not user friendly and try to talk you into higher dollar replacement parts that you probably don't need. Only one choice of replacement parts. The most expensive out there. The charge per hour more than some other companies. Never recommend them.

We had 1st c as kk come out for maintenance on our tankless water heater and my parents tankless water heater. They also put new valves in bathroom faucet. I had two different issues/repairs that needed to be addressed and both tradesmen showed up at the same time. I appreciate the call confirming the appointment. Called on a Saturday morning, assuming, at best, I would get a Monday appointment for quote and work done later in week. Wrong. They had two technicians here by noon offering to leave a quote or to complete work. I had 2 jobs in mind, but also added the water heater replacement I had planned for later this summer. All work done that afternoon with supplies from a well stocked truck. They completed work, explaining everything and thoroughly cleaned up and were gone in about 3 hours. I Could not be happier. In future, 1st call will be my 1st call.

My husband had concerns about our water heater that had built up calcium and other minerals in the water. We were not expecting a quick opening on the same day. Mr. J.J. and Mr. Oscar were the best. I called for an appointment to get my ac system repaired . I also scheduled an appointment online for the ac system repair . 1st Call did call back. They also confirmed an appointment for the same day as I requested. That was all good and satisfactory.The technician arrived within the time frame of the appointment. Again, good. The technician was professional and quickly diagnosed the problem. He efficiently repaired the problem. (The system drain was clogged). I supplied the chemicals (bleach and hot water). The technician was at my residence approximately a half hour. The repair took at most 15 minutes.I felt the price of the repair was high , but after talking to owner , a reasonable fee was agreed to. .Overall the company did a good job . They were quick and responsive . The technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous .

I actually had called on another company which never showed up. I called 1st call plumbing and they showed up they actually accommodated me to see me the same day. Needed a new water heater they were able to install the following day..And they showed up when they said they were.. Very satisfied and so excited to have hot water again. Koby Kaczmarek and David came to my residence and were very friendly. They diagnosed for the issues we called for as well as check for any other underlying issues. We were given a free estimate before any work would be done. Our issue was resolved and they ran tests to ensure the problem was properly fixed.

They dug a 120 foot trench 12inches deep in limestone rock and replaced the main waterline from the street to my home, and they did it all in one 8 hour day. They worked harder than anyone I have ever commissioned. I enthusiastically recommend this crew and their company!

JJ Melchiori and Oscar (didn't note his last name) came out to my home for a situation with my downstairs toilet and to find a continual issue regarding a foul odor that I couldn't seem to locate or eliminate. They investigated, ran a smoke test and located one of the vent pipes in an attic location, that had been disconnected which was leading to the continual odor. Additionally, the smoke test also verified that the downstairs toilet did have issue with the seal. So, upon further investigation of that toilet, there was no way to get a seal any longer. The entire system underneath the toilet down below the foundation of the house had to be handled. This meant digging out the foundational dirt underneath the water features to allow the plumbers to work, a total distance of 20 feet. While down there, they realized that the old piping was no longer directional feeding but was back feeding, which essentially means they needed to replace the drain piping below not only the toilet, but the lavatories and the shower, as well. Still, they did a great job! They were very professional. They were personable and easy to talk to about the issues. They went the extra mile for my situation, and they were wonderful to deal with, throughout the working time. Thank you SO MUCH, JJ and Oscar! You guys are PHENOMENAL!

we needed a new tankless water heater as our (takagi ) was over 15 years old and hooked up to an auxiliary heater with recirculating pump. John Melchiori was very knowledgeable and informative regarding the newer systems and gave us a quote on a new (Navien) natural gas system that included a built- in recirculating system. He answered all our questions and concerns about the Navien heater. This system was much larger and required some additional mounting work. The team was able to put in the new unit the same day. Overall a welcome change to pressure sales. Price for unit and installation was within the same range as other comparable units.

Adam and Justin came out the next day to help with my plumping problems. Gave me a free estimate and answered all my questions. Helpful team calling and keeping me up to date on arrival time.

The company replaced my toilet with an American Standard approved by ADA. The job was completed in just an hour. They were also on time and didn’t charge me to get rid of the old toilet.

They were the first ac company I called to a full AC replacement. I also checked with two other company’s Jhon Wayne and Elmer. 1st call beat them by $4850 and beat them with 10 year warranty. Will F came out to my house to see if my unit could be fixed or needs to be replaced. I was it needed to be replaced. Will walked through the process of different units and prices. Not even once did he push to get the top of the line. But we wanted top of the line. We made payment arrangements and we were set for next day installation. The two AC tech showed up right on time ready to work. Ryan and Johnny are by far two of the neatest works I’ve ever seen. After they finished the installation they swept the area’s and left the room cleaner then when they started. They also took time to walk me through the ecobee thermostat great device. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for Ac or plumbing work. The whole installation took around 4 hours. Amazing job 1st call plumbing. Truly I am impressed with the amount of professionalism provided from this company. They showed up on time and ready to work. The scope of the work was to replace our water heater and they also installed a pressure valve in our yard.Upon doing so they found a busted pipe or leaky pipe and first thing comes to mind as a homeowner is oh no... here we go.... they were out there for hours digging to find the leak in the hot Texas sun.. and we all know that is no joke. The technician was very nice and took care of a very garden variety cartridge replacement in a residential shower. In and out of the house in a short time period. The first issue was the cost. In my experience using several plumbers both for residential and commercial, the cost was high. This simple service was $300 dollars. I politely contacted the office to communicate the issue (young lady was very nice). I was passed to the owner who called me back. This is my second issue, he felt it was important to explain to me what goes in cost like no one else could own a business instead of asking questions to understand the actual concern. That’s great and all but the fact is that the cost, in my opinion, was too high for this very simple service. Everyone was nice and professional during these conversations. I’m mad at my regular plumber for being busy. I will not be a returning for a second $300 experience.

A licensed plumber and a technician arrived and installed a new toilet and removed the old one in about 90 minutes . I have never had a better experience with a plumbing business. I called for a plumber this morning and they came out the same day. I highly recommend 1st Call for plumbing. No price gouging, just extremely honest and fair up front quotes.

Had both the plumbing technician and the AC technician come out for estimates. The plumbing guys came out first. Very nice, answered all of our questions etc. Sent us a estimate for all the work we needed done to our toilets. No problems there. The AC technician was next. Very nice. Proceded to tell us that the motor was out on our AC and there was another part that needed to be replaced. Told us that he would have to check on Monday to see if he could even find a motor for our model since it was so old. He went ahead and replaced the other part that was needed. Charged us $300.00. I then texted my daughter and she sent her AC Guy to us who looked at our unit. He had the motor on his truck that we needed so he replaced the motor and charged us $500.00 which we thought was reasonable since it was Saturday after 5pm.He also told us that we didn't need the other part that the first technician put on. We now have a house that is getting cool where it was 93 degrees. But we are out $300.00 on a part we did not need. Not sure if we are going to have the plumbing technicians change out our toilets. Edit: happy to say that 1st Call has refunded our $300. I spoke with the head A/C guy ( can't remember his name) who was very nice. He listened to my complaint and refunded our money. That shows me that this company has integrity and is honest with their customers.

We had a issue with our water pressure for almost a whole year and consulted with other plumbers that wanted to charge us thousands of dollars to fix an issue that wasn’t even there. The entire team at 1st Call was outstanding! I have an air conditioning system that was installed by another company and covered under their warranty. However, during summertime 90 degree heat - they could not come to the house for several days. I spoke to Anne at 1st Call and she was able to find time to have a tech come out and look at the system. They provided detailed maintenance and showed me a few improvements I could make to the way I operated the A/C. The most impressive part of the service call was the information I was given. No pressure, just options. The tech was very honest about potential repairs that might ensue and what would and would not get covered under the warranty. All around, one of the best A/C experiences I have had.

Very impressed with the service!! David and Eric worked hard to resolve a sticky line blockage issue stemming from water softener granules having escaped into line, thus clogging it completely. They kept on trying methods according to the repair protocols and achieved successful resolution. Excellent response and service from 1st call! They came out on a Saturday and Sunday to help us out!JJ and Oscar did a great job of repairing a water leak and installation of new toilet and water heater.

1st Call was the only company that was able to come out on a Sunday early afternoon to replace a leaking expansion tank on our water heater in the attic. Despite our emergency, 5 other places did not respond and a We'll Fix It receptionist told us that they do not do plumbing repairs on weekends(very strange). The scheduler I spoke with was very professional and would check on any employees working in my area. I believe her name was Melissa or Michelle. She called me back and assured me that they would have someone out as soon as possible. Dakota sent me a text with a photo description letting me know that he was on his way. He explained the issue and gave me a quote for repair that was reasonable right there on the spot. He also checked my water pressure letting me know that it was on the high side and that could be a contributing factor for the leaking tank. Overall my experience was fantastic! I would recommend calling 1st Call before you call anyone else for our plumbing needs.

Service was on time and AC mechanic was nice and friendly! One wish was a better warranty, just bought a 12000 dollar ac system and now I have a clogged drain of some sort and now it’s another 230$ but I guess it is what it is. Service was quick and efficient though

Awesome service from beginning to the end. Their phone is answered by a kind, knowlegable and personable human-being! No auto-recording with prompts that sends you to voice mail. We were able to get schedule an appointment window later in the...but, a cancelation popped up and the techs were at the front door 30 min. later...this was on a SUNDAY! Justin, the lead tech and Issac, his apprentice were professional, informative ns experienced. The did what they said needed to done, inspected a couple of sources that could be another problem (we had a clogged bathroom sink that overflowed the day prior. Overnight, water spots appeared on the ceiling beneath that bathroom). They also verified that the water meter was functioning properly. We were asked to monitor the space for the next 3 days to check for anymore leaks. 30 minutes after they arrived, they were done. Professional, personable and prompt! 1st Call P & H will definitely be our 1st call from this point on! Thank you so much!

I called 1st Call after the company I usually call for services couldn’t get my AC unit seen. My AC unit, which is only a year and a half old, wasn’t cooling. They were able to get Randall to come and check out my unit the same day. He was courteous and professional, and was able to tell me exactly what the issue was. Randall was able to get my AC cooling during this terrible heatwave while I wait for the other company to come fix the mistake they did. I will be using 1st Call for any other future needs with my HVAC system.

1st Call is always nice, fair and quick. You get a person when you call. And if in their system, they pull you up so you don't have to retell them everything. I love that!! They even helped with CPS credit paperwork after installing new AC!!!Even if we just had a question on the AC thermostat, they come out to make sure we understand. Chris is always so thorough and friendly. Our stage2 was NOT cooling, and after being here for just a few minutes, he found and fixed the problem. No charge. I'm back to freezing again!Another company installed our water heater and when it died...still under warranty, that company charged us to check it and said we needed a new one. 1st Call came out for a 2nd opinion and repaired it under manufacturer warranty. No charge!!!!I don't usually do reviews, but I trust these guys. They're doing a great job! I highly recommend.

We had a small gas leak from our tankless water heater. They promptly came out, but initially (over the phone) we were told the estimate would be free. When they arrived, we were told the diagnostic test would be $220. Zakk called the office and they agreed to do the estimate/diagnostic for free, which, in my opinion, speaks very, very highly of this company. Truly, that impressed me. It turns out a screw was loose and they simply tightened it to fix it. Because of the fact that it was an easy fix and didn't require further repair, they did charge me, but not the full estimate price. And you know what? I think it's completely fair. They were honest, professional, stood by their word, and obviously they took time and resources (gas) to come out to my house. Any other dishonest company could have easily told me a whole part needed to be replaced (because what do I know about tankless water heaters? *nothing*!) - but 1st Call Plumbing, Heating & Air did not, and I value that very much. I know exactly who I'll be calling again if I have any other issues.

Saturday, 4/5/2022: I requested service as my bathtub faucet and sink were dripping water, which I could not stop. I was on schedule for tomorrow, Sunday, 4/6/2023, but Bob, the technician, actually came the same day as my call, because he finished an earlier job. He and his colleague arrived about the time estimated, and they quickly assessed the problem, provided an on-site quote for repair, and accomplished the work in about 20 minutes. No more faucet leaks! I appreciate this Comoany and their overall crew. This is the third job they performed for me, and each one was professionally done, and so far, everything is working great! Thank you A1C Plumbing and company!Chris was the initial technician who timely responded to our call for service. He immediately identified the problem and recommended a solution. However, it was already after normal business hours, so the supplier needed to obtain the necessary parts was not available, which caused a delay of the repair work. The Company leadership opted to offer installation of a new unit altogether, instead of just replacing damaged parts, for the same cost initially quoted, and advised on how to obtain financial assistance through their financial partner via the Company’s website. Johnnie and Daniel were the team who ultimately installed a new indoor AC unit. Johnnie was the lead technician and did an excellent job of explaining the work to be done and answering questions, and making recommendations for system maintenance after the job was done. Considering the timing was during the height of numerous calls for malfunctioning air conditioners, we are grateful our system is now working again.

We’ve used 1st call twice, and both times they have been excellent! Once for a water heater leak and once for a plumbing problem. They were timely, responsive, and thorough. Highly recommend.

I had a pipe break and they came out the next day effected repairs but also secured pipes so they would be more stable.

Our 14 year old AC stopped working. Called 1st Call and Matt came out same day. We discussed replacing some parts vs replacing entire unit. We decided to replace unit. Next day, after calling us in advance, the technicians arrived ahead of projected time, which was awesome. They were friendly, courteous and professional and kept us informed during the entire demo and install. They installed a new thermostat, helped me get it registered, connected to our WiFi and ensured we knew how to work it, which is really easy by the way. I cannot thank 1st Call enough for their sense of urgency to get us a new system quickly and at a fair price. I would recommend them wholeheartedly. Everyone from the first person we spoke with on the phone to the technician and the install crew, was fantastic.

Called on Saturday at 12:02. Was told a tech would be here between 1 and 3. At 12:06 received call that tech was done with his call and was close to our area. He was here with 10 minutes. My shower blender valve broke this morning while stuck in the on position. I called first response and they were able to get here faster than quoted. They sent a plumber and an apprentice. The guys were great! They had my valve replaced and everything back in its place in 15 minutes flat. They were real good about answering any questions I had. The price was very reasonable for what they did. I would definitely use them again.

I cannot give enough thank you's to Rob Veilleux and his partner Gage for an absolutely fantastic job they did in repairing the leak from my water heater. They were quick, very courteous and most importantly such a reasonable charge for their services. From their dispatcher to the service performed I have been very much impressed. Responded quickly and actually asked to come 2 hours early. They worked hard on a difficult situation as there was no external clear out for the back bathroom. They actually had to lift toilet and even go through the shower drain. They took the time to show me clear water running through at front clear out rather than just saying work was done.

Zac and Jake conquered the ac condensation drain in the main bathroom in minimal time and let me keep the evidence a baby wipe to show my 3 yr old grand-daughter proof as evidence. They were outstanding and very professional.

The 'Great Freeze' of February 2021 took out a few pipes in our house. We sat without water for over 8 weeks with two other plumbing companies not able to figure out how to get it back on. We gave 1st Call a call one afternoon and they were out the next morning. David and Anthony fixed the issues and had the water on within a couple of hours. They were amazing!!With all of what we went through all three plumbing companies suggested that we re-pipe the entire house. David was so wonderful in explaining everything that he was doing and what he was seeing in our walls and attic that we asked if he and Anthony could come back and do this big job. We agreed on a price and the work to be completed and they were back out within a few days to re-pipe our entire house. Again, they were amazing! Always on time, went above and beyond with communication, took a ton of pictures so we could see what they were seeing and to help with insurance, worked oh so very hard and kept smiles on their faces the entire time. I would not hesitate to call them for any plumbing or hvac issue we ever have. They have won lifelong customers!

Called 1st Call last night to come out and take a look at my system after having issues caused by a power surge during the last storm. They were able to send Chris out first thing this morning, with no service call fees or anything. Chris came out, took a look at the system, and was able to find out that the issue was my thermostat. He was extremely professional, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond what I expected, and after all was said and done, I was only charged the $59 diagnostic fee. Super friendly, and will for sure be using Chris and 1st Call again for any future HVAC needs!

This is our first time calling 1st Call Plumbing and got a same day appointment for a water heater repair. Dakota and Eric arrived earlier than our scheduled time but we were fine with that. I have consistently called on this company for different plumbing services because they are SUPERB!I called on them this time to do a water heater flush, and repair a bathroom sink drain.First of all, they make it super easy to make the appointment online, and they respond almost immediately.I was also concerned with the water pressure in the house, and they did a thorough job inspecting all possibilities. As it turns out there was nothing wrong with the house, but more of an issue on how SAWS regulates the water pressure in my area.The technician assigned to me was Jonathan Peña and he was super professional and honest.I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again.

My AC drain line was clogged up. After trying several DIY methods to get it unclogged and no luck. I called 1st Call to get it cleared. Chris was knowledgeable and professional. He got it fixed fast. Since his last visit, water has been draining just fine and no water in my drain pan. Awesome!

Need a new water heater installed and called 1st Call Plumbing. Our plumber JJ was amazing and went out of his way to explain process and install water heater. We had a problem after he left and I called JJ back and not only did he come back out that evening, but the owner himself phoned us and came out to our home to inspect the problem. Thankfully it was taken care of, not because of something they did, but something that our plumber “friend” did. Called on a Saturday morning when my Elderly Aunt’s ac went out. Not only were they responsive and fit us in their schedule an hour later. They also made sure to let me know if the unit was under warranty with any other provider it would void our warranty. They cared more about quality service then just making a dollar. The tech came out and less than an hour later we had cold air. By far the best ac company I have dealt with as far as price and service.

Had to make a last minute appointment because another company canceled on me. They were on-time, repaired our problem quickly & were very friendly. Will definitely use them again!

JJ and Oscar were on time, super helpful and informative. They addressed all my concerns and issues (replaced softener, pressure valve and spigot, and installed a gas log fireplace set). They were about $400 more than other quotes but we’re able to do all the work the same day. My only not so great note: even though we asked them both to wear their masks inside JJ kept pulling his down to talk with me which was frustrating.

Water Heater was not heating anymore and I called 1st Call because they had done a successful small plumbing repair few months ago, so I was confident I could trust they would do a good job. They arrived and the guy didn't even check the water heater! He saw it, searched for the unit on his phone and told me, I needed to replace it. It is an old unit and because this is Texas, it is done for good, he said. He estimated the cost was gonna be almost $3,000 but he was gonna give me a discount of $200 wonderful dollars, all included. Needless to say, I didn't go with it. Especially knowing that a replacement unit is priced at a fraction of the estimated amount they wanted to charge me. I am not an expert but I do know that by seeing a unit, you can't get a diagnostic. I called a plumber and he replaced the element and drained the unit. It is working as good as usual!! I am disappointed. I thought I had finally found an honest company I could trust for years to come. Sadly, I was wrong.

I called for an estimate on either getting my ac fixed or a new ac. They were able to send someone out the very next day and then had my ac installed on a Sunday with really impressed me. We have enjoyed exceptional service. Our A/C went out on Thursday night. Technicians were out with room units the next morning and a replacement system was installed on Sunday morning, despite the rain. Louis and Hector were early, finished ahead of schedule and talked us through the new system (and it’s net enabled features). We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend either of them or 1st Call.

We were very happy with the responsiveness and professionalism of this company! We had a spontaneous drain blockage that was rapidly creating multiple issues in our upstairs bathrooms. We found this company online with good reviews, so called around 4:00 pm on a Sunday (not optimistic that anyone would be able to show up same day), but they had someone out here by 6:00 pm and the two guys that showed up were friendly and professional and knew exactly what the problem was and were in and out with problem resolved within 30 minutes! Always get a second opinion especially if you call 1st Call Plumbing! I was given an over-inflated estimate by Chris. The estimate was $5,955 to start AND he also charged me $174! I called another company and they did the job for less than $1400! Within a few hours, my plumbing was up and running and I haven't had a problem since! The job was done right and to my satisfaction.When I called 1st Call's General Manager, Ryan, he apologized profusely and offered to refund the $174. Come to find out 1st Call Plumbing really does care about Customer Service! The refund was issued and they did all they could to make it right for me. Thank you, Ryan! I feel like this incident may have been a fluke.I may give them another try.

They evaluated our situation, gave us all the different options and replaced our entire AC system in less than 24 hours. Louis and Art were a pleasure to work with!

Originally we contacted another company to come and fix our ac that was not working in the middle of Texas summer. They stated they had availability and that they would be out within three hours. The tech from the other company called and said he was out of Freon and would not have anymore until tomorrow. My mother is on oxygen and the heat does not help. I then decided to call 1st Call and see if they had something available today. They said they would call first thing and try and get someone out. I said ok and thank you. I received a call from Ryan within 5 minutes of hanging up stating that he would be on his way in about 30 minutes and asked what is going on. He arrived and was very courteous and professional and willing to help. He was very straight forward and was very empathetic for the situation. Unfortunately she needed a new unit and he was very willing to work with us and he had it installed the next day due to the condition of my mothers health.With all that said, I will always choose them for any of my needs due to the level of professionalism and caring that was displayed. There are not a lot of companies that are left that actually care about people and not just the paycheck at the end of the day. He went out of his way to help and provide extra insight and honesty as well as quick service.

I had a gas leak on my fire place key valve. 1st call plumbing sent two technicians who quoted an estimate ahead of time and explained the entire process fully. They were even willing to put up with my dog and cat wanting to play with them through the entire fix. From beginning to end, it was a pleasant experience. I was having issues with my A/C unit and had them come take a look at everything. The rep found numerous issues with it and not only talked us through them, but showed me as well. He gave me numerous options on how to fix the issues. I recently purchased a home with a water softener and reverse osmosis system. I wasn’t sure if everything was working or how to use them since I’ve never had these in my past house. Fortunately, Koby told me that all looked to be in good shape. I asked him much I owed for the inspection and review of my water softener & ROSystem, and he said nothing!?!?! Wow!!! They explained how all my new-to-me systems worked and didn’t charge me a penny.I’ve used them previously for AC repair as well.As a real estate broker, I will always recommend “1st Call” for anything my clients need & continue to use them personally. I choose First Call Plumbing because of their great reviews JJ and Oscar were great! On time, professional, capable, and informative. They did a quick search for the source of the leak inside and out side. They located it not far from the meter, so it was a much better outcome than it could have been.The only con was the cost. Even though JJ explained the pricing, I was still surprised by the bill. Dang! $800 to install a new hose bib and to repair a leak where the pipes intersected.

I scheduled a same-day appointment online. I was notified at the number I provided when the technician was in my area. He arrived as scheduled and assessed my concerns. I was provided an estimation prior to any work being done. My problem was efficiently and effectively resolved. I was provided helpful tips to prevent similar issues in future. All safety COVID-19 precautions were taken. I am completely satisfied and highly recommend 1st Call Plumbing Heat and Air.

One of my AC units was draining water out of a spout that it didn't normally on to my back porch. I took this as a sign that there was an issue with one of my units. I called 1st Call in the morning to come help me figure out the issue. They were able to have a truck at my house later that day. The tech showed up when promised, very polite as I explained the issue and then went to investigate. He found the issue and cleared the blockage. He also looked at my second unit and found that my drain was broken near the unit and fixed that for me at no additional cost. These guys are awesome. Great value, very professional and I highly recommend them.

My AC stopped cooling at 10:00P on a Saturday night. After calling 4 other companies. Getting the run around and poor customer service, I finally reached out to 1st call. Daniel answered the phone and put my concern for finding someone who cared about my problem to rest. He was kind, professional, nice and had a sense of urgency to get someone out to my house quickly! Called for replacement of 16 yr old electric water heater. Customer service rep was courteous and professional. Service technicians showed up on time and began working. They removed the old heater quickly and we waited for the replacement heater to arrive since they didn’t have one on their truck. In a short time it arrived, delivered by the owner of company! Amazing! I will never go to another plumber. We had a very large job that spanned over a week. I have had experience with plumbers in the past where I have had to stay on top of them and call to make sure proper steps were taken in a timely manner. Not here. I was treated like a VIP the entire time. My calls were always answered and returned. My questions were answered and I never had to stay on top of them to get the job done. The reps on the phone were friendly and knowledgeable. The guys who came out to do my house were so nice, knowledgeable and did the job right. I received a very careful, reasonable estimate for a totally new HVAC system (including high quality central A/C , furnace, digital thermostat and insulation installment), especially for the work and products involved. Also included were discounts, an estimator who was knowledgeable, patient and also thoughtful about maintaining COVID-19 health standards.They showed up to install on time, cleaned up after themselves doing all that work in about 5 hours. They did a GREAT job.I also had 1st Call plumbers look at my water heater, which wasn't working. Again, they were pleasant, professional and respectful of my home. We just had our water heater replaced and we are very pleased with the whole experience from beginning to end. Coby and Cory were excellent! They were courteous, knowledgeable, competent and professional. Their attention to detail was noticeable and much appreciated. Coby found several other issues and took quick action to address them and keep the project moving along. He identified an electrical issue early on and immediately called an electrician who showed up in short order. The electrician (David), who was also very competent, courteous and professional, worked to isolate and correct the problem while coordinating with Coby and Cory to keep their work progressing. Cory did a good job explaining things throughout the process and always gave me options on how to address each issue. This is our first time using 1st Call Plumbing and we will definitely use them again if the need arises.

Chris Ricketts was our service technician. He was great! Very knowledgeable and was able to solve our problem in a jiff. He answered our ridiculous questions. He also gave some helpful tips about my filters. Won't be calling anyone else for AC service. If you're reading this and need AC work ask for Chris, he is a straight shooter.

Our AC went out and knowing summer is on the way, we were afraid we'd have to shell out thousands for a new system. Another company came out first and said we needed to upgrade and then gave outrageous quotes. Chris from 1st Call came next and immediately saw that with just replacing one part, he could get our AC running again. He did recommend upgrading the system based on its age and condition, but his first priority was to get us comfortable again instead of leaving us sweating like the other company. Thanks Chris!

The entire experience using 1st Call Plumbing, Heating, and Air was a delight from beginning to end. They are a courteous, thorough, professional, and detail oriented team. Work was done on time at a good price, scheduling was easy, and they even offered an earlier appointment as a courtesy but I was already committed. There's only on place to call for any and all plumbing, heating, or A/C service.

“Don’t Call Plumbing” would be a better name. Similar to several other 1 star reviews, a guy showed up and started messing with my water line before even introducing himself. He failed to do any diagnostic tests or inspection, then quoted me $3k for a complete replacement. When I asked why he wasn’t attempting to find the problem he danced around the answer, eventually landing on requiring a $200 FEE to diagnose the problem (to be added to any work he might do). He then played my entire phone call with the appointment service for the neighborhood to hear when I told him this certainly wasn’t what I was expecting.Thankfully I had a way better experience with a different company a couple of days later and we have hot water again.

I wasn’t desperate for a new hot water; mine was 18 years old and needed to be replaced. They were early to the appointment, gave me an estimate, and had the work done in a timely manner. Very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them.

Made an appointment for them to be here in the afternoon, but because of a cancellation they came much earlier which was appreciated. Repaired outside spigot that broke off. Because most of the problem was above ground, I was given a significant discount. The guys who came were polite, friendly, and very professional. Their work looks great.

Called 1st Call Plumbing this morning at 8am because my ac wasn't cooling at all. They had someone come out to check it out by 9:30am! They have no diagnostic fee at all and give free estimates. Our technician was Chris. After he determined what our problem was he was able to get it fixed no problem. Chris was polite, knowledgeable, and gave great service. My water heater wasn’t working so I called 1st Call Plumbing. I was able to setup an appointment online for the same day. They arrived on time, they even sent me a picture of the plumber when he was on the way. Jake Aramendia climbed into my water heater closet and took pictures of the damage and then explained what the problem was. I needed to replace the water heater which he had on his truck so he was able to finish the job in a few hours. Both Jake and his assistant were very polite and knowledgeable and they not only hauled away the old heater but they cleaned up after themselves. Great job and I will definitely be calling on 1st Call Plumbing again.

My AC was working but not welll enough in this texas heat. They came quickly and said that the unit needed to be replace. I trusted them. Paid 13, 190 dollars and nine days later after loss of revenue for rentals they still have not got the unit working . They used foot covers were very clean. They were very courteous and quiet for A-day sleeper. This experience was such a pleasant surprise! It started this weekend when Bob came out to my house to fix a leak. We couldn’t get the water to turn off completely. Bob was unable to fix the leak due to the SAWS equipment being broken. He was so friendly and professional and referred me to SAWS. Once SAWS FIXED their part, Chris came out. Firstly, I super loved how they text you when the tech is on the way that shows you a picture of who will be knocking on my New Braunfels door. I contacted 1 st Call plumbing to restore flow of hot water in my kitchen faucet. They scheduled it for the same day. The plumber (Reno) showed up in a timely manner. He checked every possible culprit and answered all my questions. He took his time and find the problem and fixed it. I have an adequate flow of hot water in my kitchen faucet now. I highly recommend them.

We had Rob and his assistant come out on a Sunday and they let us know what would be needed and were to the point. We needed to have PRV and expansion tank replaced and they had it done quickly. I really wish we could have had them come out first. Rob answered all our questions (my husband likes to ask lot of questions) and explained to us what was being done. I really appreciated that. I highly recommend this company.

We had no Ac on a Sunday and they answered. Have seen those boys grow up on old commercials so I figured it give them a shot. Hopefully they learned good service from their mom and dad over the years when they owned Armendia. Well they did! I found out it is the same people under a different company name. They sent over Chris R. He was excellent and tackled it right away. Drain line was clogged. They will be my 1st Call next time. They may be a little more $ than the fly-by-night company but I have gone the cheap route, you get what you pay for...trust me. Likely cheaper in the long run by being Fixed the first time.

I had general maintenance done on my AC unit. After a thorough check, the tech indicated that the unit was working well. He indicated that a possible improvement would be the installation of a UV sanitizing system to improve indoor air quality. He provided information on these units without the pushy sales pitch. The team was knowledgeable, fast, professional, and courteous! I had the maine line pipe that broke at the foundation of the house. It was causing my front yard to flood and my water to be turned off to the house. I had called around to a few other places before speaking to them and everyone else couldn’t fit me in until Tuesday or Wednesday, being a Saturday that wasn’t going to fly! 1st call plumbing was able to get me in with same day service. I will definitely be making them my first call if I ever need another plumber!

I called this company with the expectation of getting the same pricing as the other two bids I looked at. Luckily, they answered my call within minutes and by the next day I received a called letting me know that they would be able to go out to my house earlier. When they walked in and were able to give me my estimate and ONLY for what I have asked for. Upselling is a complete turn down this company does not upsell you they get to the point of your request! Will use them again HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We waited a week to get someone else out for a pipe leak in the wall, that we had already removed the drywall, turned off water & found the problem. After getting here he kept saying, that’s not good & wanted us to file an insurance claim saying we needed to reroute the entire plumbing through our attic. We were in disbelief, a hot water line came unsoldered from the manifold and needed replaced. That was obvious. Told them no way just replace the manifold & reconnect the lines. They wouldn't do that & left....so we were like now what? Next morning we called 1st Call Plumbing. They came out that sabe morning, stated they could fix it in about an hour for thousands less. While working on the job I explained what the other plumbers said, was told there was no need to reroute everything. They fixed the leak & had the water back on by noon. Definitely worth a call! Good job guys!

Repair some else did not have anything to do with the water heater .the City should repair at the Maine . When we bought the house there was a timer on the heater. Our Air Conditioner would not cool after a lighting strike. They quickly found a damaged electrical board. The technician Chris replaced the board and checked out the rest of the system. Luckily nothing else was damaged. The air conditioner is running great again, great service.

After digging a hole in my yard to find the leak, you could not even tell the grass was ripped out when they where finished. Very pleased with Adam and his crew from 1st call plumbing. They came out on a weekend and stopped a leak inside a very difficult place to get to inside of a two story wall in a very narrow crawl space in the heat of summer. Will be using this company for all of our AC and plumbing needs.

One of our toilets was not flushing and backing up to our bath tub. We tried a plunger but ended up making more of a mess in the tub. 1st Call came out and quickly got it to drain. I want to start by saying my visit started when I scheduled my appointment I asked if anything on Saturday was available she said no but the longer we talked she said let me get you in on Saturday 9-11:00 I said great the 2 gentleman showed up at 9:40 Chris p and jake r I can’t say enough about the experience we decided what we needed and agreed to the work I asked how long it would take they said probably till 1:00 I said uggg I have people coming at 2:00 for Christmas work began amazing the work was wrapped up around 12:30 they said how did we do on time I said great ! We had time to clean and get ready for guest I need more work done but leaving Texas tomorrow for vacation but will schedule the work in January GREAT JOB give these guys a raise !!!!!!

Bob and Greg are awesome. They were out here in half an hour to replace a yard line that I had fixed twice in other places by someone else. It was ALSO done wrong with the wrong material by a previous homeowner and they showed my where, how and why it was done incorrectly. The material they used is guaranteed for TEN years and their work is guaranteed for FIVE years. It's nice to know that I can take a shower or fill my pool and I won't have to wake up with my own personal aquifer under my house.

Had a new unit installed, few hiccups but Ryan is very responsive and comes out right away, extremely knowledgeable, professional, so far, love our experience even with the hiccups. And the technician that installed was excellent, even stayed super late to make sure unit was working enough for the night and on his birthday!

Came out to check my Facet. Had low pressure. Just had my kitchen done and new sink. Only 2 months old. I live in the country and I know it was probably clogged with lime rock. I don't have a water softener but willing to get one installed by this company. No charge to look at the problem that was fine with me was happy with that. But when there master plummer came out to my house and I told him that the water was coming out slow. He checked it was trying to unscrew it with his hands could not unscrew. Checked the bottom part told me what it was going to cost. The master plummer was chewing his gum while talking to me say that it was going to cost me 175.00 in hr to do. I was like wow thats a lot. I asked him was going to be done an 1 hr? He said it could be 2-3 hrs and I said thats 175.00 hr ×3 ? He said yes. I asked to be again that was 175.00 per hr right? He said yes. I said thats a lot.im sorry I wasted your time for you to come out here for this. Please customers ask these questions before coming out to you. This was my first time calling this company and was very disappointed. So I can imagine how much they charge you by the hour on a water softener. U wanted this done before Easter ?. As a single female, I never know what kind of service/value I'm going to get from service professionals like HVAC/plumbing etc. 1st Call is the BEST!!!!! They started by explaining over the phone at the time of scheduling that there was no service fee - GREAT. Prior to arrival, they texted me a picture of the plumber with their info AND called me to confirm. When Bob got here, he quickly diagnosed the problem and it wasn't what I thought, it turned out to be something inside causing a leak on the shut-off valve outside.Here's what I appreciated: They could have really gauged me by charging me $500 to fix that and instead, they DIDNT charge me ANYTHING. They showed me what was wrong with the toilet, how I can deal with it temporarily (just lost my job due to COVID so can't spend a lot rn) and now my shut off valve isn't leaking outside and I know what I have to do to stop the toilet from running.I will use them every time from now on!! Bob Veilleux is the best!

Christopher is very nice. He found the problems and fixed it. They got me a plumber right away. My sink was leaking at the bottom.

My wife called them after I installed a water heater and had a power outtage when installing it so I left it alone. Im no expert in this stuff so I told my wife to call a plumber while I was at work. When they arrived she said they didnt inspect the water heater they just took a glance at it and gave her a $3000 quote. Plumbers told her that the water heater would not work and would need to be replaced with a new one. Seemed to me they were just trying to take advantage of my wife. I called Anchor Plumbing they went the following day, while I was at work, and said the wiring Ive done was not tight enough and caused the outtage. They finished the installment with expansion tank and new pressure valve for 1200. Very disappointed that 1st Call would try to take advantage of someones situation.

They came out right away. Beat two other quotes by 3,000. I never even told them about other quotes so the price was really amazing. Did job next day with professionalism and great care of my home. I will use this company for all my electric, a/c and plumbing needs in the future.

I had a clogged toilet I called them and there were here in two hours. I had tried everything I could think of, plunger, draino, I even got a toilet auger that did nothing. Less than three minutes they had it unclogged with a toilet brush and taught me why a plunger doesn’t work with my toilet. Gave me some helpful advice about the overall well-being of my toilet and didn’t even charge me. Will for sure call them if I have any more plumbing needs.

I called to have someone to check.out my AC. They sent a salesman instead of a technician.All he did was take pictures of the units serial numbers and sent them to whoever at the other end. He didnt check.the coil or anything at all. Then tried to sell me a new unit and didnt even say you need good credit. He said I wouldn't even turn that on..... Karl & Joshua had the difficult task of first locating a water leak which caused severe damage to my dining room carpet and other areas. The leak was well hidden. These two are highly skilled professionals and though it took several hours, found the leak and fixed it. Now, I can start replacement and repairs and get my house back to normal.

The techs were courteous & timely. We highly recommend this company. They had same day appointments.

It cost me $695.00 to fix a 3 foot pipe and replace the hose bib. They were the only ones to respond on Saturday.
