Chambliss Plumbing came out and installed new faucets and a shower head that were long overdue. Our plumbing pipes leading up to the faucets were the originals and they lived up to the challenge on removing and replacing the water lines. Josh Ruiz was our plumber and he is very meticulous in his work. I would recommend Chambliss Plumbing to anyone I know in need of plumbing services. Thank you for a great job. We are very happy.

Chambliss Plumbing is the best plumbing company I have ever used. For years, I have sought a reliable and trustworthy plumbing company just to be left disappointed. Finally, I have found a responsive, licensed plumbing company that does outstanding work and charges a very competitive price. In fact, they evaluate the actual work to be done and quickly understands the scope of work to be done and quotes a price with no surprises (before or after job completion). Their crew was on time and performed quality work and cleaned up the job site. I have found my “go to” plumbing company.

Called and received great customer service to set up an appointment. Was so surprised we didn’t have to wait long! She advised they would call before arriving and gave us a two hour window of our choice. So nice.Day of our appointment, Chad called to let us know they were on their way and they arrived shortly after. Came in with protective shoe covers, put down protective covers on the bathroom floors, were pleasant, professional, very efficient, explained the issues clearly, remedied the problem and cleaned up thoroughly before they left.On top of that the cost was very reasonable.We’ve used Chambliss before and we’ll continue using them.

Water heater installation was difficult due to water damage to plywood floor. Initial install wasn’t satisfactory, but the install was quickly corrected. Chambliss Plumbing (CPC) did an exceptional job from start to finish for the relocation and installation of a new water heater in the attic. The plumbers arrived on schedule, called prior to arriving with an ETA, explained what they were doing during the installation process and provided clear instructions for operating the water heater. There was no mess left over and the pipes are neatly wrapped and strapped.About two weeks after the water heater installation, CPC installed a pressure regulator valve to prevent variations in the water pressure coming to my home. Again, another fantastic job.Thank you Chambliss Plumbing!

We used this company when we bought a house with plumbing issues.And again when another issue came up a year later. Everyone from the receptionist to the plumbers are super nice and professional. They give a 2 hour window for the appointment and always give me an exact ETA the day of. Their prices are great and they give warranty with all their work. I didn’t even know an issue I was having was the same as a previous issue they had fixed, but they were honest and said it was covered under warranty and fixed it. They could have easily covered it up and I would have been clueless and paid them to fix it again. They have true integrity. So if your clueless like me about plumbing issues, I highly recommend them because they can be trusted.

David changed out an old double faucet on the back of the house, added a shutoff at the house and then ran a line under the decked porch and out about 30 feet into the yard. They put two faucets there, one for yard sprinkler and another for my little greenhouse. His work was professional, neat, and exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Chambliss Plumbing.

Neighbor just asked me if I knew a good plumber and I had just the company to recommend. It was then I realized I never wrote a review for this most excellent company. And it's been nearly 2 years since Chambliss replaced my main water line from my house to the meter at the street. Their estimate was waaaay below competitors. Sometimes this can be a red flag, but not with Chambliss. Deric was the main guy, I believe. He had to cut about 16 inches off my driveway for several feet. You can barely tell it was cut. They came when they said they would, worked very quickly, and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. And the price was VERY reasonable. Great company!

In a time of need, when our water heater failed, and all others were quoting outrageous prices and long lead times, Chambliss Plumbing was able to get our water heater replaced the very next day. I called Chambliss at 9:30am about a major leak in our kitchen sink. Two technicians arrived at our house at 10:45am on the same day. They identified the cause of the leak and had it corrected within 20 minutes. WOW!

I have a tankless water heater that was frequently, although inconsistently giving an error code. I had Chambliss come out to investigate the cause. The first plumber spent about an hour, but could not replicate the problem. A more experienced plumber was scheduled for several days later. He spent about 2 hours, but again could not replicate the problem or find an issue. Towards the end of the service call, I suggested the the look at the vents on the side of the house because the manufacturer said that venting could be one of the issues causing the error code. He looked at the exhaust pipe and found and removed a couple of wasp nests. However, he did not take of the cover to look at the intake pipe. After he left, I took off the cover and found the intake was blocked with a bird next and several large wasp nests. I called the tech and he came out and removed the debris, spending another two hours onsite.My frustration is not with the effort the plumbers gave, but rather with the fact that I had to find the probable cause of the issue by doing something I believe the plumber should have done in the first place.I received the invoices for the two service calls and the cost seems a little excessive, especially given the fact that I was the one who found the problem. I have not had a chance to discuss the bill with the company, but will do so in the next couple of days.I have previously used Chambliss (ironically with the installation of the same water heater) and was quite happy with their services and costs,

Woah! Timely, professional, thorough, knowledgeable--what more could one person want in a great business? Truly our experience was outstanding. The first call went out on a Friday, someone arrived on Saturday, parts arrived on Monday and repair was made on a Tuesday. We had 5 guests coming to stay for the week and they jumped through hoops to get us the part we needed and FAST! On top of that, they noticed our other water heater needed repairing to avoid the same problem in the future and they fixed it as well. With 9 people in a house and limited hot water, the Chambliss crew stepped up and no one even noticed there was an issue. This is my first time using Chambliss and they did not disappoint. I had four other plumbing companies come to my house to troubleshoot issues we were experiencing with out tankless gas water heater. The fourth company diagnosed the problem and supplied me with an estimate to resolve the issue - cost was outrageous. The company we have a recurring contract with did not diagnose the problem - came out and gave me also an outrageous estimate for things they should have told us about before. Chambliss was courteous, thorough and reasonable. I’m a fan and will be using them again.

I used Nextdoor reviews to get to Chambliss a couple of years ago and they have not disappointed me yet - with about 4 visits over the last two years, last one today. Excellent communication, on time within a shorter than normal window (2 hours vs. typical 4), quick repair, VERY reasonable pricing. All plumbing repairs are expensive but these guys never take advantage. Wonderful company, highly recommended!

When we bought the house in 2014, the hot water had been mixing with the cold water for 8 years. No one could figure out the problem so most assumed there was a mixing in the slab. We just lived with it. After a remodel where two of three bathrooms were completely gutted and those plumbers couldn’t figure out why it was mixing, we decided to call Chambliss to see if they could figure it out.. Kevin said it was highly unlikely it was in the slab. Whew! They listened to me, my description of the problem, the history and that I said the remodelers did nothing wrong. The problem was there before. Ruben asked if the Master Shower cartridge had been changed out since we owned the home and I said no. He started there. That was evidently the problem! It was a little more complicated than merely changing out the cartridge because the cartridge was frozen and we had to tear out the tile and replace the valve, but thank goodness it wasn’t a problem in the slab. We now have hot and cold where they are supposed to be! Thanks Kevin, Ruben and Chambliss. I have a new plumbing company for life!

I called a few other plumbers I used in the past and got quotes to replace a pressure reducing valve. Having some familiarity with the process, I knew this was fairly simple and straightforward. I called Chambliss and their quote was almost $300 less than the others. The workers, Devin and Mark, were super professional and really nice to work with. Very impressed with Chambliss’ service. Calvin was not only on time but he called to see if he can come early. Upon arrival, he efficiently provided quality service to install new kitchen disposal and faucet. When he was done, he diagnosed a leaky sink and fixed a leaking sprinkler head in the back yard. All of this was done in under a hour. As a additional bonus, Chambliss also gave me a military discount. Will definitely use their service again.

The technician was on time and knowledgeable. He had to come back a few days later because of a defective a valve, but he took care of everything quickly and it was under warranty. ? I will use Chambliss Plumbing again when I neec them for sure !

Service was satisfactory and timely. Techs were great! However, it was not explained to me in advance that I would be charged extra because there were 2 plumbers dispatched. This seems a bit shady.

Plumbing Team arrived on time. Took the time to prep the area, including placing a towel to prevent water from leaking onto the cabinet. After install, demonstrated the faucet and advised us about registering the product. Additionally, team inspected our water softener and observed a leaking discharge, possibly saving us hundreds on our next water bill. Excellent Company!

Called them out for low water pressure. Turns out that there was nothing wrong with my pressure, my faucet was just clogged with gunk and I had a faulty gauge making me think that my pressure was low. They cleaned it and did not charge me for the call. I had used them before with great service and it paid off to use them again. I will sure call them again if I need a plumber.

David and Ryan were friendly, efficient, and work ed hard. David explained what they were doing and why. They out the same day I needed my heater replaced, and even worked late to get it done, but only a little late because they finished the attic installation in almost half the time I was quoted.

We are selling our house and the buyers requested that we replace our water heater. After calling around we were shocked at some of the prices others were quoting. Chambliss was able to provide an accurate quote over text for a more realistic price and scheduled us for a few days later. They were able to bring it up to code, tracked down a clogged pipe that might give us issues and were polite and courteous. I’d recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing work done.

They had a plumber very near my neighborhood finishing a job and he was able to get to my house in less than 20 min. Our bathtub faucet broke and the water would not turn off, so we had to turn the main water line off to stop the water from running. We called several plumbers in the area, and none were available for several days. I checked Nextdoor for recommendations, and Chambliss Plumbing Company had top reviews and scores. When I called, the were able to schedule us immediately the same day. In fact, they were able to come a couple of hours earlier than the original appointment time! We were so pleased, as we had gone the whole weekend having to manually turn our water on and off. The sooner they could come fix it, the better. Deric and Devin (or maybe it was David?) were both friendly, fast, and professional! Deric replaced the cartridge on the faucet in no time, and since the service call period still had about a 30 min window remaining, he asked if there was anything else we needed him to check on. I remembered that our kitchen faucet was beginning to wobble and become loose. Deric quickly addressed it and I’m happy to report that everything is now functioning properly. We had the same cartridge issue with a bathtub faucet upstairs a year prior. The previous plumber we hired charged over $100 more to fix the exact same problem. We are definitely going to stick with Chambliss Plumbing Company for any future issues we may encounter! Fast, friendly, and reasonably priced professional service is hard to find. Called Chambliss to fix my leaky kitchen sink. When they arrived, I asked if they could also extend the 1/4 line to our under the sink water filter. They fixed both in a jiffy and they also fixed our dishwasher drain hose that was not draining well (had bad odor due to stagnant water). All this with one house call. Outstanding work as usual!

The plumber and his helper who came to my house were on time, replaced the garbage disposal quickly, were pleasant and professional, and I was charged exactly what I had been quoted. These guys are great they came and gave me an estimate and came back as promised and got it all taken care of. There was a possibility of a problem on the biggest item but Clayton came over with another tool and he worked with them and they got it done, saving me a couple of thousand dollars if not more by digging with a shovel and their hands instead of using a digging machine. That was with them nothing like a larger company who gave me an estimate of 7,000 or more. All and all great people did a good job and cleaned up. Good attitude and just a blessing to me, I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work. In fact the bill came up to 1400 when the estimated cost was 1600. Chambliss Plumbing Company is hands down my go-to plumbing company in San Antonio. When I first moved here, I had them install a water softener loop, water softener, and line for my refrigerator. I'm not going to lie, it was expensive and it took a bit of time to pay off the credit card, but getting quotes from other companies, their price was VERY reasonable, especially for the quality of work.Since then, I have recommended them to others who have had no complaints.Most recently, I was trying to get our main drain cleared from a clog. I thought that our home warranty would be a cheaper way to get it cleared, but $150, 2 service calls, and a lot of grief later, the clog was just as bad as ever. I called Chambliss and they came and cleared the clog right away with zero issues. They spent the time to do it right and make sure it was fully cleared and tested it several times to make sure everything was perfect. Best of all, the price was not much more than the service calls and the home warranty said they would cover it. I regret not trying to get the home warranty company to let me use them as opposed to the companies they chose in the first place and will definitely do so in the future. Home warranty or not, the price was very reasonable and well worth it.

Prior to hiring Chambliss, I had contacted a plumbing company a neighbor had hired. I was given a window between 10am to 1pm. It was 3:30pm when a technician text me saying he was on his way. I told him to not bother and went on NextDoor app to find a new company. Chambliss had the most (and highest) ratings so I decided to reach out. I was given a two hour window in the afternoon. The next morning I received a call from Calvin saying they had an opening. Thirty minutes later he showed up with another gentleman and quickly fixed the problem. I've been using Chambliss for the last 15 years. It's a local family owned business and I am alway confident that the work gets done right. Today I had my water heater replaced for a cottage in the back and when I asked about the tankless they said for the usage it will get they couldn't recommend spending the extra money. They installed it on time, with no surprises. Job was done in two hours, they cleaned up, and even fixed a toilet valve at no additional cost. They are my goto plumbers.

When I needed a Hot water heater replaced, I called Chambliss Plumbing Company. James Ramos arrived at my home with a new hot water heater of equivalent size as the old one. The skill and professionalism of James' work when replacing the water heater in garage closet was outstanding. Once he had the old water heater out of the closet, he vacuumed up the water which had overflowed the drip pan. When James replaced my hot water heater, he also replaced all of the connections, hoses, and even the gas cut off valve. As I watched James, I was so impressed by how he went about is job ensuring all connections were sealed and seated properly. I was also impressed with how he was so professional and patient with me when asking all of my questions. When James was finished installing my new hot water heater, he even checked the water pressure coming into my home to ensure it was of the proper pressure. Before James left he made sure all the water on the garage floor was wiped up and explained in detail the warranties for the new hot water heater. When James drove off after completing the job, I knew from now on Chambliss Plumbing Company would always have my future plumbing business.

Clayton Dillon used a camera to determine we do not have a leak resulting from foundation leveling. he recalled that we had four channels and the static test did not take this into account. We`re happy that Clayton recalled Working on our plumbing several years ago.

Three toilets in our new home were having problems. Our home owners insurance plumber did a pathetic job as a few weeks later we had the same issue so I called these guys. They were very informative and were able to come as soon as possible to fix our issue will surely use them again if need be.

Had an issue of no hot water and Chambliss replaced the water heater several years ago. Upon calling, was informed that the water heater was still under warranty and set up a time. They were very prompt and sent someone out right away. Once there, the plumber said that since it was still under warranty, he can go ahead and replace it, under warranty, for $1500. That is $500 more than a new one without warranty, so I had my concerns. It ended up being the lower heating element, which he replaced for $190. I asked about the upper and he said he didn't replace because it's the lower one that goes bad. OK, makes sense. The plumber had told me three different things before the repair, so I asked what it ended up being. I just wanted an explanation of repairs and was told it would be on the invoice, which was emailed to my husband's email. Once I saw the invoice, it stated that he replaced both. I contacted Chambliss to clarify and also told him my concerns about the guy he sent out. The owner said that he was not one of his regular customer service workers, which was obvious. It was in the afternoon so Mr Chambliss said he will talk to his guy the next day, see about a discount and call me back. I told him that I'm not looking for a discount and if that is what the job pays, then I'm OK with it. I just want clarification on the repair because the plumber had told me three different issues in addition to trying to sell me a new water heater for way too much. He stated that he will clarify and call me back and confirmed he will call me back before hanging up. It has been a week and I never received that clarification or the call back. I really don't trust this company any more and want to share my experience just in case there are others out there.

Candidly, I'm not in the habit of writing reviews for plumbing companies, but these guys really deserve recognition for going above and beyond. Empathy seems to be in short supply these days, and I would not typically look for it in a service provider, but Chambliss earned my respect and gratitude for getting the work done, going beyond what was required, and calming my wife who was having a really bad day. Chambliss Plumbing came through for us when our water softener died and spewed resin pellets into the pipes a few years ago. Their estimate was lower than the competition and they replaced the water softener and cleared the pipes far more quickly than the other's estimate. We call on them for all our plumbing needs now.

Chambliss Plumbing was amazing for us. Ask anyone. They saved us when another company, Kore Plumbing, installed a defective sewer line, without a permit, twice. Chambliss came, videoed the lines (sewer lines were botched), and successfully made repairs. Chambliss also fixed the other code violations--all of which, by the way, the Alamo Heights city inspector overlooked--like the use of AC lines for water heater drains, lack of shutoff valves, loose supply lines, and other installations in non-compliance with installation guidelines. Chambliss was responsive, and cared! I learned from one of their plumbers that Chambliss pays for their plumbers to get extra education and certification, and are really part of the solution. Cheap? No. Cultivating pride and integrity in their workers, fostering their education, and doing work with right way? Priceless.

The two techs were just excellent in all regards. Fixed the problem (despite some complications with a tough clog!). Had the right equipment to do the job. They communicated everything so I could understand. I recommend them and Chambliss for any plumbing need!

Super service. They always come on time, finish the job, and call to communicate about what is going on if there has to be a change of plan. Last time I called, I needed an outside pipe fixed. The guy that came out was soon up to his knees in mud, but still pleasant and did the job quickly.

The driver of a truck with your logo prominently displayed tried to run me off the road three times last Sunday afternoon. They were going about 90 miles an hour down 281 and rode a few feet behind my vehicle. I was unable to get out of the way due to high traffic conditions and he had to swerve to avoid hitting me. He then took the turnaround to come back and menace my vehicle again. Please advise your drivers to not drive like homicidal maniacs in company trucks. Thank you

The install of the water heater went well, as far as I can tell - $650 to replace a water heater that failed and was covered by warranty, so that was only the install price for a free water heater. When they drained the old water heater, the used a decorative towel from our bathroom and left it in the bathtub wet and dirty. They left a quarter-size hole in our wall where I'm assuming they bumped into it with either the old or new water heater. Also, when they took the old water heater outside, the left it on our walkway by the front door leaving a rust stain that I have to be able to remove. I think the actual plumbing work was ok, but it's everything else that makes it so I will never use them again. Jon Wayne to the rescue!

I've never used this company but I was behind one of their trucks this morning on bulverde road and the driver was the best, safest driver and most courteous person I have ever seen.

Paid 1000 for a tub install, the workers set it crooked and not level. Made tiling nearly impossible. The walls being out of true have little effect on leveling a tub.

Our water softener failed on Saturday. When I called, I was told they couldn't come until Monday unless they had a cancellation. They called back at 2PM saying they had a cancellation, and they could come in 20 minutes. They removed the softener from the unit and reconnected our water, then came back on Monday to install the new one. This is at least the third time we have called them, and as always, they were unfailingly thorough, professional, and very pleasant to deal with. We would have no hesitation about calling them the next time we need service.

We had Chambliss replace an old electric water heater about a month ago. The installation was handled professionally and Blake, the service tech, was a wealth of information. Then, about a month after the initial installation, we decided we’d like to have the thermostat moved up a bit (we like really hot water) so I called to see if they could come back out sometime to adjust it. Jordyn, the receptionist, who is always very pleasant & eager to assist, stated they had a tech in the area & could come over that very afternoon. I just had a very pleasant experience with Chambliss Plumbing, replacing a 40 gallon gas water heater. I specifically wanted to commend Calvin and Dell for their work. They called ahead, came on time, did an inspection of existing parts and performed the work quickly, cleaned up nicely and explained all steps and new parts after all was done. Being an engineer by trade, this attention to detail is greatly appreciated.
