J.C. Enriquez and Son Plumbing

I have used J.C. Enriquez and Son for work on my last home and did not hesitate to contact them for repairs at our new place. I needed some fixtures/toilets updated and ADA devices installed in one of the bathrooms. Joey, third generation plumber of the business, came out to handle the job. He and his assistant professionally installed the ADA devices with proper bracing and patched the cuts made in the sheetrock. Additionally, the toilets and fixtures he replaced worked perfectly after completion of the job. There were also a few other things that needed to be fixed, which were repaired with no issues. As compared to other plumbing services, they are priced right. They are a family owned/operated company that has the equipment and experience to get any job done.

The Master Plumber quoted an obsurde $ amount of $6,000-8000 and talked about knocking down walls to find the leak.i was quoted $80..for service charge and is turned out to be $155: because Master Plumber said he located point of leak. What in fact I was the one who showed him where the water was coming into the house. This really disappointed me. I paid what was asked because In the Bible Jesus says give Cesar what belongs to Cesar and give God what belongs to God. This was not a good experience for me. I called another plumber and he went right to the source. He did have to bust the concrete but his charge was 1/6 of what was quoted by your Master Plumber. I'm 76 yrs old and live alone. The plumbers checked thoroughly and assured me there were no more leaks. When the girl called back Monday for credit app. She mentioned you use cameras and equipment to search for leaks. This shouldn't have been the case. My daughter knew it was in the concrete slab. You could see it. I didn't have a good experience with your guys. Yes I felt misinformed and over charged for the service call. I'm sorry I trusted you,

Awful experience. Lack of cooperation to help the customer. If you pay on your own they are willing to help but if you have insurance they won’t do nothing to help solve the problem Ms. Lidia in the office is only concerned about getting paid and not helping the customers. A job that another company solve for me in 20 minutes and only charge me $150 dollars. While Lidia kept me waiting 3 hole days to tell me anothe 3 hole days for them to make a diagnosis. I do not recommend this company. Having a plumbing problem is an emergency and for this company it is more important to leave at 5 pm than to serve .

We had Joey and Seth come out to snake a drain and they were great! Timely with fantastic communication. Not only did they do the work we called them out to do, but they also were willing to talk to us about additional things we had noticed that may need to get fixed in the future.

They service customers with 2-10 Warranty. Their ETA window began between 11:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m. but kept changing and I had already given up. Upon contacting their office about them not meeting their ETA deadline, a very nice Supervisor, Lydia managed to expedite things for me. Mr. Enriquez stated that the main reason for this delay was due to their database mixings of appointments, etc. Once they came to our home they did a great job which was to replase the casing on the garbage disposal! Thank you!

JC Enriquez was outstanding! I used them for my father's house which had a substantial leak that required him to turn off his water until it was addressed. JC Enriquez was there immediately and called me explain the issue then next steps to address it. They were so courteous, knowledgeable and took their time to explain to me on the phone. The did an incredible job, I felt at ease that they had my father's best interest in mind and I will be using them in the future for any repairs at our house as well.

Joe and his crew were great! Met all of our expectations and then some. Answered all of our questions, completed the jobs to our complete satisfaction. if you are looking for a plumber to meet all of your needs Joe Enriquez is your man!!!

I had a Rheem warranty claim on a hot water heater. They came out the same day and did the repair. Knowledgeable about the products they sell and the service they require. Joey and a associate came out and did a very fine job. No reservations what so ever. They are at the top of the list if I need service like that again. Thank you both!

I had a leak in my outside water faucets and he fixed them quickly. Their customer service was great as they kept me informed when their arrival. I will definitely hire them again for more services needed in my home.

Professionaly replaced garbage disposal with new unit. Asked about the water heater. Was told that the regulator & overflow tank were worn out. Was quoted aprice on the spot & told of option to make payment schedule with no interest. Used credit card instead/ won't be billed until Nov. Joe & company will be here tomorrow for outside work & will make arrangements to quickly replace inside tank. I don't know of any other company that provides fast & professional service that quickly.

They are pleasant, friendly and clean after themselves after the installation of a rotten disposal they removed it with patience and clean around the area . I’d recommend them to anybody. You will not regret their services. One day installation.

I was charged 440 dollars for a 30 minute job. I had a simple valve replacement. I have no complaints about quality of the work done. I was grossly overcharged, in hindsight. They also bill you 38 dollars for the estimate if one finds their prices too high. Steer clear of this business. I wish I had read these reviews first.

This was an extremely difficult experience to deal with. I asked for a quote for new gas lines to be ran for a customer at a job site. I met with Joe at the location and asked him for assistance. He said he could have his excavation crew possibly the following week to do the work needed. After a couple of days I tried to reach out to them to get the estimate and put the deposit down on the project. Finally got a hold of someone in the office after two days of calling and was told of a family emergency and Joe would not be back for two weeks. I let my customer know that work would be delayed but that it would be done in a couple of weeks. 2 weeks pass by I reach of to the Joe for over 6 days to get the status and I was told they would get back to me. Well finally the young lady in the office told me she would find out and let me know at the end of the day. So today which is tomorrow at 1 pm I called the office again to find out the status and I was told that they can't do the job because they don't have the people. I have wasted three weeks waiting on this company and now my customer is upset at me and them. This was truly unprofessional and would have take a 15 second text message to let me know weeks ago.

Found your company on the Internet. Chose you for your years in service, and ratings from past customers. I was not disappointed. Our technician Joe was experienced and had knowledge to troubleshoot and correct problem. Alongside him was his apprentice. Joe was describing his actions and insured his apprentice understood. Joe was professional, knowledgeable, polite, and possesses great customer service skills. In the future I will contact your company in the event we need additional plumbing repairs.

Very professional people I hand them that. But just a heads up for those needing a plumber and need affordable pricing this is NOT the way to go. We needed a valve replaced and a faucet fixture. Im a single mom and needed help doing this as I didn't want to mess up any plumbing. Unfortunately, the price to do this job by this company would be $625!!!! Just for a faucet!!! This was not in our budget for a simple fix. Was able to find another plumber who charged me way less than half of what this company asked for. The other company even mentioned that was way overpriced for the job. I know companies need to make profit but a job that took less that 45 minutes at that price was outrageous and not reasonable! I do not recommend this company if you need an affordable plumber with quality work. :-(

We had several things done - replaced a faulty PRV and an expansion tank installed on our water heater. All of the items were done professionally and in a timely manner. J.C. Enriquez and Son Plumbing was very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

Edit: Shortly after I left the review, Joe reached out to me, he came back, re-diagnosed the toilet and fixed the problem. He also changed a fixture complimentary to make up for the original misdiagnosis.I had the misfortune of being assigned to this company by home warranty. They came, took my co-pay, and didn't do the job. Instead asked to open another claim and DIY it. When the warranty company tried to contact them, they were unable to get a hold of them.

My Thermal Water Expansion Tank developed a bad leak. I called Choice Home Warranty who sent the aforementioned Plumbing Company to my residence. Upon observation of my Water Heater and its ancillary system Joe shared with me, in great detail, that I did not need a Thermal Expansion Tank on my water heater. A previous plumber who installed my new water heater a few years ago said that I needed the Thermal Water Expansion Tank. What I liked most was that Joe was very knowledgeable about our water heater and the city ordinance requirements. 10 stars for the aforementioned Plumbing Company.

Called J.C Enriquez and son plumbing due to an outside leak at the water meter. Joe & Seth were very professional, prompt and reasonable in price. I’ll definitely be utilizing their service in the future. Thanks for the emergency call on Sat afternoon!

I was charged $325 to run a camera through main line and a 10 ft. drain snake down the toilet. Toilet remained clogged after plumber’s attempt. However, to really unclog it will require a plumbing modification for $3400. He justified the charge because your plumbing was not done correctly according to the camera view. Glad I was able to unclog by pouring a full bottle of bleach and letting it work over several days for $3.49. Never again ??..Oh and they never sent a receipt over email or other. Service or lack of service was provided in the West Creek subdivision. Update: Claim by company that they used an expensive sewer machine to justify cost is false. Unless the battery operated 10 ft. snake was made out of gold. Oh and call the office and ask for the receipt ..:Ha! Must be a new kind of customer service. Oh and the cost was minus $89 for trip charge… No receipt?

Joe and all his employees are truly amazing, they started working the day they came out to give us a quote. They had to repair a busted pipe under the toilet and wasted no time getting started they gave us an estimate of when the Job would be done and they finished early. Customer service with every single person we worked with was amazing!!

Scheduled an appointment with this company and validated I was in their service area. Next day 15 minutes before expected time of arrival I get a call and was informed that I was not in their service area. Poor communication and unprofessional.

Too expensive. An estimate that could’ve been giving over the phone. Tech just open the door look at the tank and gave me a $2800 estimate in less than 1 minute.

JC Enriquez and Son Plumbing will attempt to scam you. Quoted $1300 over the phone for a 40 gal water heater replacement and told “there may be cost increases for code updates but we’ll keep it very close to $1300.” I immediately realized it was not a 40 gal and called back to tell them it was actually a 50 gallon. No effort on their part to give me fair notice that the quote would increase substantially. I was willing to take the chance on the $98 service call fee on that promise. Well, they didn’t keep their word. Upon arrival the price increased over 50% to almost $2000. They saw an opportunity to squeeze me for a few hundred dollars since I have no hot water. I’d rather take cold showers than be scammed by JC Enriquez and Son.I’ll never call this company again and make sure my friends and neighbors don’t either. Enjoy your $98. Hope it was worth it.Just got a quote for another plumbing company that’s gonna do it for $1400. That quote was free, by the way. I won’t fall for the $98 quote thing again.

I accidentally ran over the water line box that belongs to my friends neighbor. My friend called this company and Joe came out so fast and fixed it even faster. It wasn’t as much as I thought it was going to be either. So all around it was wonderful service and experience, even though I was on vacation visiting from NM.

Charged $300 for fifteen minutes of simple drain clog, asked for a cash discount was refused, wouldn't even go back to them for warranty rather pay somebody else.

The young man named Joe was very professional and courteous. He was very detailed in explaining the issue and also in how he resolved it. I appreciate that he went beyond my expectations knowing that I would be inconvenienced on a weekend. He still kept his word and completed a 2nd job on a Sunday. I appreciate excellent customer service from this company. Highly recommended!

After paying the $98 service fee just to have them come to my property, they told me they would have to rip up the foundation in my garage, living room, and under the water heater. They said I would have to buy a new water heater as well. They quoted it would cost about $7,600. What they didn't tell me, was that I could call someone to detect the leak to prevent all the foundation damage. They were not knowledgeable and used scare tactics to try to scam me. After calling another friendly plumber, that didn't have a service fee, the friendly plumber told me exactly what I needed to do to fix the problem for so much cheaper! After J.C. left, my hot water wasn't working. It took me a while to figure out they turned off my hot water heater and didn't turn it back on. I'm sad to leave such a bad review, but hindsight, they are dishonest scammers. Or just dumb, I don't know.

I was quoted $225 on the phone but when the tech showed up he quoted $425. I provided the majority of the materials and the installation took 45 min. The workmanship was done well, but I was not pleased with the bait and switch.

These guys were great! I put a water shut off on and then the water company upgraded the pressure and if the blew off. You want to talk about a mess! They charged me $38 for the service call but then waived it and I ended up paying $120 with a 1 year warrantee. Very nice kid told us what needed done and did it with a smile and great workmanship. I would recommend them to anyone.

This review is about a horrible experience that my family and I had with JC Enriquez and sons plumbing and remodeling they were initially hired/recommended through our 210 home insurance for a A leak in a pipe outside of our house they initially came to fix it 5/20/2021 Stating that there was a crack in one of the plastic pvc pipes that caused the leak they were paid $250 to come out and fix the leak upon fixing the leak my father noticed that one of the sons who was placing the pipe looked like he put too much force on screwing in the pipe to one of the main components my father asked if that was too much for us and was told no a couple of weeks later the leak has returned They were contacted and stated they would come out and look at it on Thursday June 10th my father took off a whole day of work to wait for them to show and they never showed or called so my father contacted them again they stated that they would show up the following day on the 11th they showed up around 1pm and quickly started digging up the ground to look at the leak I oversaw I say turned over the ground until my father was able to arrive when my father arrived He spoke with the older man and he was insistent that there must have been a child or someone who stepped on the piping and caused it to leak again which was going to Cost another $250 to fix my father argued the point that there isn’t anybody in the area that crosses through so joe started coming up with other possible scenarios my Father brought up that when it was initially installed by his son that it look like it was on there too tight and The older man stated that that was not possible So after a while of going back-and-forth Joe stated that he would not be fixing The leak and that he would return the $250 back to my father in the form or a check that he would have mailed out as soon as he got back to the office and we would receive it by Tuesday it was a horrible extremely unprofessional experience we did seek out a different plumber same day and when the other plumber came to fix the leak he stated that the pipping that was placed was tighten way too tight that tension is what caused the leak And today 6/15/2021 there was a phone call received from the owner of the company at 12:18pm Requesting for us to remove our review and about signing a form in order for us to receive a refund. This is harassment blackmail extremely unprofessional and horrible customer service.

The work was done but the same job when I enquire with the other company the quote I got $550.00 and by J.C Enriquez charged me $1700.00

They are very over priced and do not do a quality job. Wanted to charge us again for a water leak to repair their mistakes. Needless to say we had to hire a professional plumber to fix their mistake. Filed a complaint with our insurance company.

They were really fast and informative with handling the job. Seth was really nice in explaining a future job that will be done.

2 employees showed up, used my tools to cut pipe, which I had already cut the dry wall, spend 20 minutes to cap pipe and charged $403. This was during the freeze. Talk about price gouging!!!!!! Do not recommend then and will not use then in the future

I had what I thought was a small leak in my garage and it turned out to be a leak in the water main. They came out the same day I discovered the problem and stayed until the work was finished. I would recommend them to anyone who has an issue with their plumbing.

They do a decent job, I think they are priced a little high but they do get the job done well with good quality material. They Replaced an outside Hose Spigot 4 months ago. Since they were already doing 18000 dollars worth of work they said they would throw this in for free but it usually 159. It broke and started leaking already I replaced it myself yesterday for 12 dollars. So 159 again shows you how high their prices are, I am unsure if I would use them again

Very trusting and helpful, will NOT rip you off!!!!! Was quote over $3000 for a simple replacement in the garage and Joe was able to beat that price for over HALF of that price! So happy I got a second opinion!

J.C. Enriquez and Son came to repair a leak that had started in my ceiling. Their inspection revealed it was my AC. They referred me and it was fixed the next day.

If Zero Stars were possible.....These guys are out to scam you! They came to give my father-in-law a quote on replacing two bathroom sink faucets. The faucets were already purchased. Their initial quote was $625!!!! $625!!!! to install two bathroom sink faucets. Then after my father-in-law said no to that, they offered to drop the price to $525. When he balked at that they left, went and sat in their vehicle for about 30 minutes, then came back and said they had authorization to reduce the price to $375. WORSE YET... when he still said no they demanded $20 for the estimate! Uh... they could have saved themselves a trip by being able to estimate the cost of a sink replacement over the phone. I can't believe how they would try and take advantage of someone this way, it's despicable.

Thank God for Joe and his team they were very professional and push thru to get my disable sister water service to her home. The job entailed having to dig 100 ft on the back yard and digging 9 ft down replacing all the clay piping. If you have a plumbing problem this family owned business is the company to use. You could not pay me to use this company again. They attempt to charge some of the highest prices around and conduct sloppy work though they present themselves as if they are top notch. Expect their first cost estimate for the work to be ridiculous and if they don't reduce it significantly get another estimate from another company.

Guys were great.had to make a small modification and they handled it like a boss. Highly recommend these guys I'd you want it done right.

Called them at 12:10 pm for a leaky faucet and had a technician at my house by 12:30; faucet fixed by 12:40! Exception customer service and great work...J.C. Enriquez and Son Plumbing WILL get my business again! Truly great experience!

Terrible company. They came out through our home warranty company, American Home Shield, which is also a terrible company. They did a hack job. We needed a pipe replaced in the bathroom, so we removed the drywall for them to get access to the pipe, and instead of cutting through the entire pipe and pulling it out, they went into my dining room and cut a piece of drywall out so they could wrap a chain around the pipe. Apparently they like to only make a small cut in the pipe and use the chain to yank out the pipe but the chain wouldn’t fit around my pipe because of the drywall behind it. So they decided to cut a huge piece of drywall out in my dining room. To say I’m furious is an understatement. They also don’t fix the wall because they are just “plumbers” which is why I bring up the question why do more damage to my walls just because you are too lazy to cut through the pipe. The best part....when they left, they tossed the old pipe in my flowerbeds in front of my house. I would not recommend this company, EVER!

Horribly over priced made comment about my LV purse then inflated call out price from $89 to $268 attempted to take advantage of me as a single female and charge me $9k when another plumber walked me through immediate fix by phone and then setup everything else for under $1000

Joe Enriquez was very helpful and knowledgeable when I asked about my water pressure that seemed to low. He told me that the prv is the value that controls my water pressure. Joe adjusted the valve and I had great water pressure thru out my house. Joe saved me a lot of money by just adjusting the value instead of replacing the value. Thank you Joe.

Called J.C. Enriquez Plumbing to come out and replace a toilet and had it scheduled for Sunday Morning. Sunday came with an early morning rainstorm so they canceled stating flash floods in the area. Rescheduled for the following Saturday morning expecting things to be done as agreed. Saturday morning came which resulted in a no show and no call. I called them at the end of the scheduled 4 hour window and was greeted with a voice mailbox that was full. Unprofessional. I wasted time thinking this mom and pop business was legit. I will not be making that mistake again.

They fixed the leak problem right away. I appreciate that they used a simple way rather than tearing into the wall to fix the problem

Came to fix a shower door. It was a 10 minute fix and cost around $180. Did not require any parts. I feel like that's a little high but you get what you pay for. Great customer service and serviceman was knowledgeable.

I recently had a plumbing issue at my home, and J.C. Enriquez Plumbing came to the rescue! Their team was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. They fixed the problem efficiently and left everything clean and tidy. I highly recommend their services!

Had them go give me an estimate on a kitchen remodel and water heater serviced. They were there 10 minutes took 6 pictures told me water heater was no good (no power in the unit so don’t know how he could tell me it was not working). Told me I would get estimates for kitchen yet they never measured anything but were quick to ask for the $89 trip charge and I got a joke for an estimate. I asked for a detailed estimate for insurance and they sent me just 19500$ (written like that) saying installation consisted of putting contractor grade cabinets to fit kitchen. Also, drywall, tape and float, texture, and paint without quoting size dimensions or anything. Also, they asked for 3350$ for water heater installation. What a joke the insurance laugh at the quote they sent me. Called office yesterday to get new quote and they promised new one by days end yesterday and here we are with nothing to show. Will never use again. Guess they make their money by charging their service call of $89 per trip. Rip off don’t waste your time with them.
