Best Water Heater Service in San Antonio TX

I called two other plumbing companies and neither one called me back for days. I left a message on George Plumbing's phone and had a call back within 5 minutes and an appointment. for the next morning. The men were on time and had my drains unclogged in half an hour and the price was less than anticipated. Thanks to all of you for such great service.

I've never used this company but I was behind one of their trucks this morning on bulverde road and the driver was the best, safest driver and most courteous person I have ever seen.

We have used this company for a big (really big) job as well as several smaller repairs. They have consistently shown up on-time and have done exemplary work for us. Tony always gives us a reasonable estimate as well as great explanations and options for the needed repair. We highly recommend this company for any type of plumbing work!

Had a leak in an old cast iron fitting behind our sink. Clinton and Joe were on time and pretty quick about getting it changed and updated to PVC. There was also a clog in the line that wasn’t apparent when the fitting was changed. I called back and within a couple hours Clinton/Joe came back to unclog the line and did some additional diagnostic work free of charge. Plumbing issues are not my forte, so I really appreciated their professionalism and expertise in helping me understand what was causing the blockage.

This was on a Saturday and they responded to my call very quickly which I thought was a slab leak. The technician that came was very receptive to my concerns and after putting on booties and wearing a mask (Covid 19) checked out the issue and found I only had a pipe that was in the wall under my sink that had sprung a leek and fixed it right away. Much to my relief no slab leak (water was spotted coming out of wall at foundation level outside) made my day. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again. The owner actually called me and made sure all was ok and ask if I had any other concerns or issues. I thought that was very thoughtful for him on a week end to follow up. I give them 10 stars.

Karl with 1st Call was incredibly professional, very knowledgeable and worked tirelessly to clear the obstruction in my line. He was able to resolve the issue and he was able to show me camera imaging of the lines and walked me through it. Very informative and he was more than happy to answer my questions. Hired company to fix tub faucet pressure. Water was coming out in weird not strong stream. Replaced a part and charged $200 for 30 minutes of work. Did not succeed in fixing the problem. I complained and he came out only to tell me this kind of faucet will not have as good a stream as my other bathtub. Could have told me that before taking my money. Money wasted. Would not hire again.

My water softener broke and the carbon and resin clogged my water lines to the house. Mitchdiagnosed the problem and was determined to get the job done! Other companies were called but he was the only one willing to understand my financial situation and did all he could to meet my financial needs. Not only did he get the job done but also saved me money! He is understanding and is willing to help out in anyway. Highly recommended!

On time. The office calls you to tell you they’re on their way. Went over everything before the job. Slightly pricey but the warranty is great (5 years). Pipes broken and water not draining properly. Jaime was the lead lumber and his crew that were here were very respectful and courteous. The Saturday crew (Daniel and his coworker) worked nonstop (except for lunch break) and were here all day digging and done before sundown. Everything fixed. Cleaned everything up. This whole crew were hard working guys. Always kept us informed. Good job!!! ?

I found a water leak coming in May 2022 off my meter valve at the supply point, a 3/4 PVC 90 elbow had cracked as it came out from the supply line at the box. I had turned off the water, dug up the line, and cleaned out the area, cleaned the piping, so the plumber could get to it. I called several plumbing companies, and Roadrunner said they had a person who could come out in 30-45min. Since the water to my house was off, I selected Roadrunner since they were the fastest to respond. The plumber arrived as stated, I showed him the area, already dug up, where the leak was, and what needed to be replaced. I asked him for a rough estimate, seeing that it would probabilty take 30 miles to repaiir. He took some photos, sent them back to the office, and got an estimate back of $380. I thought the cost was high, based that the area was dug completely, the leak was identified, the water turned off, and all he had to do was cut the 3/4 PVC in 2 places, put in 2 90's and a 6' drop down pipe.I OKed him to do the job since he was there, and he did a good job doing it. He also completed the replacement of 2 3/4 brass ball valves since they were rusting in the same area; and the price was $460.Overall, work was done in satisfactory manner, but I thought the price was high for the replacement of the PVC line, which took less than 30 mins with all the prep that was done by me. In the future, I will ask for a hourly rate; he was there about 45 minutes.

Got a free professional quote to install my own purchased elite water well softener and osmosis system. House plumbed for water softener, drain and power in the garage. Under the sink osmosis as a faucet hole above (no drilling requiring) Estimate given to install was $1600. Lost a star due to high estimate. (Got another professional plumbing service quote at 1/2 the cost).

Had a small leak somewhere in my plumbing and David and Rigo did an amazingly thorough job of checking all exterior areas of the plumbing prior to going through any drywall. They were kind, professional, and did a great job of explaining everything to me. While I really hope I never need a plumber ever again, I will unquestionably call City Base Plumbing for any future needs.
