Here’s what they did right:I called around 8am and responded to my needs with an even toned and nice lady who didn’t sound irritated that I was calling early.Had an appointment scheduled for me about 3 hours later on the same day (7/16/2022).I received a text with a picture of the plumber who was showing up at my house, Alex Soto.Alex was dressed professionally, very respectful in speech and demeanor.Alex worked quickly (finished within an hour) and I felt like the service provided not only fixed, but upgraded the existing water line.Here’s what they did wrong:Nothing.They are a little on the expensive side, but the quality of service was genuinely high and worth it! Hopeful I’ll never need them again, but if I do, Tietze Plumbing already has my business!

I used Tietze for the first time today, May 16th. We had a water leak in the front yard.It turned out that there was a leak associated with the pressure regulator valve.Willie came out with his assistant David to fix it and it only took about 1 hour.Willie was awesome. He is very friendly and informative. I give him 10 stars.With that said, for what they did, parts and labor, was way way over-priced. Nothing against Willie, the price quote came from the office. If we ever have any more plumbing issues we will call Tietze and ask for Willie, but they need to reexamine their pricing.

Very happy with Tietze Plumbing! We had been loosing water pressure for a few weeks and it was continuing to get worse and the worse was we had a terrible screeching noise coming from our Master Shower. I made a call late in the day and was scheduled to have someone come out. Just by my description Edward knew what the problem was. At the time we had rain off and on and he returned when he had a little open time without rain to replace our Pressure Control System out by our street! His repairs made our water pressure better than it was when we bought our house a couple of years ago! Showering is AWESOME now! Thanks so much for the quick reply to our issue and the Great job that Edward did for us!We appreciate You Tietze Plumbing! :)

The plumbers installed a water softener. Sounds easy until you realize that this 30 yo house has no connections and no one knew where the main water line came in. The guys spent one whole day digging until finally it was found on the total opposite side of the house from the garage/laundry room where it needed to go. They spent the next day running the line through the wall and attic to connect it all. Throughout it all they were courteous and professional. Best of all the quote never changed from what was quoted at the initial time of service despite all the setbacks in finding the main line. Would definitely use them again and refer them to others.

As I had used Tietze Plumbing in the past, I contacted them again when we experienced a sewer clean-out back-up. The tech used a snake to get through the blockage, but it would not unclog. He advised he suspected tree roots were growing in cracks in the pipes and would need to use a sewer camera to find the exact location of the cracks. He reported he found two cracks directly in front of my house, one a foot before the sidewalk, and the other in the street a foot from the curb. I paid $344 for the snake and camera work. He quoted me $6400 to replace the cracked pipes. He told me I would be responsible for repair of the crack in my yard and SAWS would be responsible for the repair in the street. He added SAWS would reimburse me for the repair in my yard. Another Tietze plumber came to my house to offer financing the $6400. I called SAWS and a crew came out the same day. SAWS rep told me they could not schedule a repair as there were no plumbers' paint marks to show the location of the cracks. He added SAWS was responsible for any cracks located from the SAWS meter out to the street. I again called Tietze to ask that the tech return to mark the location of the cracks. Another tech came out and said he would have to use the camera and would need to charge me the same amount I had previously paid. He also said he would have to come back later because the camera he had was broken. He called later in the evening to say he couldn't come back until the next day because he couldn't find a camera. By this time, my husband had called Aramendia Plumbing. They came out within an hour's time, used their camera and located two cracks which were in my driveway, several feet away from the meter...no where near where Tietze said they were. He marked the location of the cracks and gave me information to call SAWS. SAWS crew came out and scheduled the repair for the next morning.I received a bill for $6400 from Tietze the following month. I called the plumber who came by to talk about financing to ask why I was sent this bill. He told me it should not have been sent and he would take care of it. I received a separate bill this month for $460 (60-90 days late). I called Tietze to explain this bill to me. I was told it was for the snake and camera service I received. After being put on hold for a bit I was told they would delete this bill.Although this entire experience with Tietze seemed suspect, I still refrained from submitting this review until I received the last bill which indicated my payment was 60-90 days late.

John Pace was very professional and explained the repairs before doing them . He was on time and careful , respectful by wear paper slip on shoes He wasn’t texting or using his phone .he was working . When I need work done i want John Pace to be assigned as my plumber . I do need other things done and very soon will contact your company to do the work. I will highly recommend your company to friends and neighbors. i also had to ask John for business card . please make sure your staff always gives out your business card when meeting customers whether first time or second time so cards can be passed out to future customers by happy customers

They have been great partner for our business since 2012. The entire team is trustworthy, Edward especially is very knowledgeable and professional Plumbing tech who completes quality work. They have always been there in emergencies in past. Highly recommended for your commercial and residential needs.

Technicians were very professional and courteous. Quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me solution options. Quoted a comparable price for the job. Promptly got to work and finished in a reasonable time frame. Would hire this company for other services as well.

I am on a Jon Wayne Plumbing/Electrical service plan. The first time I tried to use my plan for an emergency (in over 2 years of paying) I was told they could come out in 2 weeks. So I called Tietze who came out the same day!!! I had the issue fixed within a few hours instead of having to wait 2 weeks and have additional damage. Tietze is the BEST in San Antonio!!! We now need a new hot water heater. I got 2 things from other companies when I got a quote, 1 company gave me an overinflated price (Jon Wayne) and the other suggested an inferior unit that has horrible ratings (Anchor). Robert with Tietze is the best! He gave me multiple quotes and actually explained things about hot water heaters to me so I could make an informed decisions. I knew Tietze was the clear choice! I won't call anyone else when it comes to plumbing and HVAC ever again. They're continued excellent service and fair pricing have won a client permanently!!!

John came in the next day after I called for a pipe leaking on the shower unit behind the wall. Super awesome to work with and showed me all the work that needed to be done, gave me the price and got right to work. I would highly recommend and work with Tietze again for future work!

No repair, just an analysis to locate and stop the leak in the kitchen - over $900.00.Pro: Alex was knowledgeable in his analysis and plugging the pipe.Con: His quote to do the repair had changed when he returned to the office. To do the repair was nearly 4,000 - 4,500 more than what he originally quoted.Decision: We went with another company to do the repair and saved 4,000.00. I'm glad we got other quotes.

OMG The best service ever! I have a warranty with CASA Mechanical and will be moving to Tietze! The two gentlemen that came out were polite and professional and were done with our repairs very quickly. I could not be more satisfied! Thank you Tietze you are a blessing and have truly a team of professionals!

Guy was great. With all the pipes burst and work being done I didnt get service till about 4 or 5 hours later than expected and I wish I had updates telling me that instead of calling. However the service was great and accomplished the job. It's a rough time so I dont fault them on the timing. The dude came out in the dark under my house and got it done!

Tietze was able to come over and troubleshoot my heating system issue within 2 hours. Plumbing inspection as i moved into a new home. Initially, I had 5 stars but after some time, I realized that the $250 they charged me was not really worth it. They did not perform anything more than what the home inspector did. I at least hoped they would run a camera throughout my system to make sure that all pipes were intact and look for potential issues. I also had a different time that I used them at my place of employment. They have historically been good but the crew that came out clearly did not want to have to do the work that was required. They quoted an astronomical price. Having trusted them before for other significant work at my place of employment, I took them at their word. Because of the quotes scope of work, we did seek out a second quote. The other company identified where the issue was within 30 minutes and competed the repair for 1/3 of what it would have cost with Tietze. I wish the crew would have just said, “this is more work than we really want to do.” If you choose Tietze, te work they do is fine and gets the job done. But make sure you receive more and just their quote for the scope of work.

My neighbor recommended this company and I’m glad I followed her advice. Willie and his associate were professional and courteous. They found the leak and made the necessary repairs. They are definitely top notch plumbers. I highly recommend them.

So nice! The pipes above our water heater were leaking and the shutoff valve wasn't working. They came over right away and fixed it. They texted ahead of time with the picture of the person who was on the way. I would absolutely call them again if we need anything.

Tankless hot water heater started leaking. Called Tietze and Anthony was there within 2 hours. Great job!

Absolutely terrible. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Worst plumbing experience ever. Charged $369 to run a snake down the drain out and nothing was fixed. Still clogged and now poorer for the experience. Another plumber did the same work less than one year ago and was able to fix the problem. One year warranty is a joke! Do NOT use this company. Over-priced and bad work.

I believe I received honest answers and recommendations. All I needed was a heating element replacement. Frank drained the tank and filled it-- which I didn't know about the nozzle to fill the tank so I could start on cold wash laundry. I work weekdays and it's tough to find a business open weekends or without limited hours. No weekend rate is very appreciated.

Inspection was initially for rotten egg smell coming from master toilet. When the technician Sam arrived, the smell had dissipated. However, he took the time to do a thorough inspection of all plumbing sources throughout the home. He also tested the water. We are very pleased with the professionalism and great customer service we received from Sam at Tietze plumbing. We will definitely recommend this company to our neighbors and friends.

This young man that was dispatched to our house was incredible! I believe his name is Sam James. He was extremely thorough in his explanation of the plumbing problems and fixed everything that we had requested from the company. If it where up to me, for future references if anything happens to our home that needs professional plumbing attention, I would only wants Sam James dispatched to us. He built a friendly customer rapport with us and will welcome him to our home anytime of need.

Scheduler failed to tell me about weekend rates and response charges. Repair work was completed 3 to 4 months ago and there should be covered. Repair person was not informed of previous work and gave me a quote of over $ 500.

Had a major issue with the pipes, called and they had a plumber out within hours (this was on a weekend!). They were able to find the issue and schedule the repair the next day (they need to order parts). Great service, great communication, will be using again!

When I called to schedule an appointment I was instantly treated with kindness and respect as the young woman helped to schedule the service visit. Then once the time and date were selected, I received an immediate text confirmation. This is such a great appointment confirmation! On the day of the service, Jaimes texted to inform me that he was on his way. He arrived promptly and immediately spoke with me to better learn what my concerns were, before going out and conducting an investigation. Once he had diagnosed the issue, he was quick in providing me with three options for repair. He took his time explaining each option and sharing the pros and cons of each one. I thought John Pace was very professional and knowledgeable as well as friendly. The only other thought I have which has nothing to do with him is it seemed a little high priced for about an hour and a half’s worth of work. But my problem was solved and that’s what counts.

Travis is the absolute best! He is so friendly and very very knowledgeable. He helped us with a faucet which had very little pressure. Other plumbers had said we would have to tear out the wall to get to the pipes in order to repair it. Travis fixed it in a matter of minutes. The service Tech was very competent and efficient You advertise 24/7 service but it took 2 days to get the service tech here.

Technician showed up on time, identified issue right away, didn’t need to make a run to local hardware store. He had everything he needed in his truck. Fixed issue in half hour, now I can shower lol. Also, this happened on Labor Day before we had people over for a bbq.

When we noticed water leaking from the system outside, I called SAWS. It was not until a week later that a technician came to look at the problem. When he did, he discovered the leak came from the owner’s side of the system.Fast forward to me searching for a plumber on Next Door and choosing the highly-rated Tietze Plumbing Company. And I am so glad I did.Big props to Aaron Taylor from Tietze who discovered the source of the leak and went about replacing the faulty pipe. He explained how the break occurred and what it would cost to repair it. I am thoroughly pleased with the job Aaron did; he is definitely an asset to Tietze. I now have them on my speed dial.

Contacted Tietze to investigate a leak in my ceiling. Courteous dispatchers and plumbers. They came out and charged a service call fee and diagnostic fee. They left without finding a leak. I poked my head around when they left and immediately found a leak in the pipes right were they were investigating. I called back and got on the schedule the next afternoon. Nobody showed up, so I called again. They told me they would be available the next day.I was able to have another plumber fix the leak with a single fitting and some crimps. It is unfortunate that although great communicators, they were unable to correctly diagnose the problem, and respond to the customer who found the problem after they left.Maybe a bad experience since there are many great reviews. Once again, impressed by the communication from everyone I spoke to, but disappointed that they were unable to find or repair a leak. I paid for services not completed.

Alex Soto is a very professional, courteous, and respectful employee that finished the job in a matter of hours. Alex and the company were both excellent in their communication, letting me know before arriving, information than gave me assurance that I was dealing with a great company.

Unfortunately, I can not recommend this plumbing company and will never use them. I requested a call back from a Manager or Owner twice.I advise dispatcher individual, we were the homeowners and they will be serving our rental property. The plumber communicated with our renter and next thing we know we have a bill we did not agree on. We agreed on a next day service not a 8pm after hours.I also gave my billing information 3x to dispatcher at the time of call. A year later, I get a call from them stating they are trying to collect. I advise no bill or telephone follow up has been given. She advise she had a wrong email and received my first bill as notice of lien a year later. I also advise the older lady that her billing software should have advise invalid email and if they called sooner this matter could have been fixed.

I wish I could give more stars. Travis was super helpful and took the time to explain what was going on with leak. He also made recommendations for other problems he noticed which saved us trouble later. Very thankful.

After 3 call to SAWS and getting nowhere, I found Tietze plumbing on next door app. They were able to come out, assess and fix my leaking under ground pipe in the same day for a fair price! Thanks for your great service and work Edward!!

Edward has been our plumber for years. Can’t find a more reliable and skillful plumber who is also very personable and professional. We like Tietze Plumbing so much we are on their service plan.

Robert replaced our faulty valve on our water line that was failing. He finished his work quickly and with no disturbance to anyone in our household. I was really worried about how much work would be needed and being without water to the house but it was completed in no time.

Aaron was very professional, knowledgeable, straightforward and honest regarding the job. Extremely quick response time….about 30 minutes or less from the initial call! Cleared clogged main pipe within a couple of hours and our upstairs showers and toilets were back to working in no time!

These guys came twice to install a dishwasher. The first time they didn't install it correctly so the drawers don't stay open when loading so we asked them to come back. They came back and then ended up denying the front of the dishwasher so we complained to the company and they did nothing about it. We still have a dented dishwasher that the drawers don't stay open. Avoid!

Travis is such a professional. He makes sure all plumbing issues are discussed and explains what he is doing. This was the first of my two yearly visits on my plan.

Alex the Plumber was great, very knowledgeable and professional. Pricing on the other hand seemed out of line, packages varied from $1800 to $700 to replace a PVR. Approximately a two hour job and if I had the time would have done it myself. Quality of work and quick response is what made me consider using them.

Willie and Garrett were professional and efficient. Willie took the time to explain the repairs to my plumbing. They also checked to make sure everything was in order after turning the water back on. They took all of their trash when they left. I like that the company sends an email with the name and photo of the technician they are sending, and that I had the same technician from the estimate through completion. My final bill matched the estimate I was given. I would hire this company again without hesitation. 10/10!

The good and the bad,They called back and got out here within an hour. Guy was super nice.Charge me $245 for a diagnostic fee. Was here for 5 minutes and said I had electrical issue. Had somebody else come out and fix one small thing on the water heater and it worked perfect. Kinda a rip off if you ask me. Especially from somebody who owns 3 construction company’s and is a trade worker. Also tech tossed all the insulation on the floor and just left it there.Wouldn’t recommend.

The Technician did called a bit after 5pm to explain that he was held up and running about 2 hour behind. I truly appreciated the call since I felt that he was demonstrating accountability. Around 6:40 pm the tech arrived. Tech was very polite, patient, professional, and engaged well in explaining needed work.He took about 10-15 minutes to expose the water pressure regulator and show that there was a leak and the cost to repair it would be around $1500. Unfortunately, this is were I feel taken by the wolf. I trusted the estimate due to presentation and charisma of the tech. I agreed to the service and price. I decided to do some research before the next day of job needed and to my surprise the quote given was almost 3x more ☹ than estimates online. I decided to get second opinion and indeed charges quoted where about twice higher.I canceled the service and received a call from the company's office manager, Becky, that I owe $425 for the consultation: tech coming out, gas (company is maybe 5 miles from my home), and exposing the line. Of course, I was not happy with this price and explain that a hole was dug and water removed to show water pressure regulator leak. The tech took about 10 minutes top 15 minutes to show regulator and leak and I am responsible for $425 for a maybe 15 minute consultation ☹?. Office manager agreed to reduce it to $225 and provided an invoice indicating an hour work (not true), two techs coming for consultation (not true) and PB1B Basic Pressure Control System Renovation:Basic Pressure Control System RenovationSingle isolation systemPerformance and safety testing, six month warranty (I am not a plumber but I do not believe that none of the work that is listed was done) for God's sake 6 months warranty for exposing the broken/ leaking water pressure regulator?Please take your time to ask questions. I am not sure if this happened to me since I am an ignorant female who should have asked more questions and done research before agreeing to pay 2x - 3x more for a service which was canceled once I educated myself but now I am left with a broken water pressure regulator and a $425/ 15 minute consultation (negotiated down to $225).I am feeling discouraged with humanity! Travis was AWESOME!!! I had to have all the plumbing in my well house replaced because they all burst with the winter blast. He did an amazing job!! It took him most of the day but the piping is almost like art work it looks so efficiently placed. I have much more room for storage as he repositioned water softener and pressure tank. Tietze sent someone out as soon as available. I called today, they said tomorrow, I got today when a plumber became available. Every other plumber I called was 2 or 3 weeks out on their calendar. Sam came and unclogged our drain. The price was very fair for all the time he took to do it. AND the company sent me a text with Sam's picture and rating before he came out! How cool is that?! So I knew who would show up without being tricked by some random creeper showing up at my door. I greatly appreciated that feature. I will be using Tietze again if I have another plumbing issue.

Walked in the office because I saw their location while I was out. Scheduled appointment and Aarons was her within a few hours. Gave me up front pricing and unclogging my toilet that had a rag stuck in it. I don't want to go into their hands on work or actual price but I will say I was charged exactly what he quoted. I've had plumber in the past, want $650 to install a 5 hole faucet set that took me 30 minutes to do myself. This was not that type of company. Charged less than I was thinking it would cost so they earned future businews from me. Aarons explained the process and what he found and completed my repair. Amount of work required and the cost leaves me happy that I wasn't over charged.

Was able to schedule a technician same day. They explained what they were going to do and pricing completely before beginning the job. Pricing was reasonable and technicians were knowledgeable and able to be done quickly and it was done right.

Sam arrived at the scheduled time to perform a biannual preventive check on all our faucets and plumbing. He was very professional and before starting he explained in detail what he was going to do. He was thorough and meticulous. He checked all faucets, hose bibs, toilets, fittings and drained our water heater. Upon finishing he provided common sense recommendations and briefed me on the advantages of tankless water heaters. Although at this time I am not in the market for a new water heater I will certainly consider a tankless water when I need to replace the one I have. Definitely will ask for Sam for any future plumbing need I have.

The guy that came was great. Really took time to find the real issue. There was an emergency and he had to leave but was back in about half an hour with the new shut off valve. Had it installed and tested in about 10 minutes and then gave me a discount. Very professional very informative will definitely use again!

I was referred to Tietze by Stafford Plumbing and I will not use anyone else for my plumbing needs. Tietze Plumbing arrived on time and their service technicians were knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Walker and Scott diagnosed the issues and developed cost effective solutions. I cannot say enough about their concern for my problem. They did not have a part to repair one of the issues, but Walter called around and spoke to different folks to see if they had the part readily available so the issue could be resolved today. Employees from companies I have used in the past would have just left and came back when the part came in. Not the case with Tietze and their two service technicians. I cannot thank Walker and Scott enough for their hardwork and dedication to the customer.

I will go to Tietze first for my property's future plumbing needs.EDIT: Edward is still a great tech, but the behavior I have seen from Tietze recently shows a completely unprofessional lack of care toward customer issues, and I am surprised that, given the experience at my property, that they have been so unwilling to even discuss it with me. I have documented seven separate attempts to contact a member of the management team, but I have been brushed off each time and entirely ignored. My resident was left with her unit covered in fecal matter because of their technician's self admitted inability to properly address the issue after two visits, for which we were charged a full rate, even after the very same technician broke an additional pipe and exacerbated the issue. Incompetence should not be invoiced. Please fix it.2nd EDIT: After speaking with Pat and explaining the situation, she has helped resolve this issue in a manner professional, courteous, and understanding. The only reason I cannot go back to a 5 star review is because it took so many attempts and such effort to even find someone willing to talk to me. Great plumbing company. I refer them to everyone in boerne and the surrounding area. They have always taken great care of us and been honest and responsible. For quite some time this is the only plumbing company we call when we have an issue.

Tietze plumbing responded within an hour to my request for service online and had a plumber out to my house within 3 hours. Leak was fixed quickly and professionally. Fixing the leak was a little costly (especially compared to buying the parts and fixing it yourself). I feel it was worth every penny because if I had to fix it myself, then my water would still be offal as there were some unforeseen issues that the internet did not warn me about. In addition, they offer a yearly faucet/leak check and water heater flush. So far I am happy to have trusted my pipes to Tietze Plumbing.

Edward called and offered to come early, which we appreciated. He immediately placed shoe covers on, and knew with one glance at the clean water in the sink that our A/C condensate drain went to the sink. He showed me the expected cost and was able to promptly unclog the sink. Very professional, and personable. Highly recommend your company and Edward. Nice job!

We called Tietze Plumbing a few weeks back because we had a leak in our kitchen faucet and they told us we needed a new faucet so they came out and installed it and it’s working just fine now! They also installed a new water dispenser that sits right next to the faucet. Very happy with their work and their professionalism. Highly recommend.

Had my pressure regulator valve replaced for low water pressure. Was given a quote over the phone and that is exactly what I was charged. James called me 30 minutes prior to showing up as promised and was there on time. He was a nice guy explained what he would do and how long it would take; he confirmed the price for the work. They have always been super fast to respond and repair any problems we’ve had. The service technicians are the most professional and pleasant people. In addition to fixing whatever we need there’s always a little extra. It could be something as simple as advice to showing me how to take care of minor problems myself. We’ve made them our go to plumbing service for quite a few years now and they will continue to hold that position.

Replaced leaking outdoor faucet. Price was outrageous for 5 minutes of work and at most a $5 lesser quality fixture. They no-showed on my initial appointment then told me when I called later that they showed up and no one answered the door or phone calls. No voicemail, no missed call, and no sign of them on my video doorbell. Never got a follow up call from the plumber and actually had to call them back to reschedule. I should have used another plumber after my first appt experience, but I ignorantly thought they'd give me a price break on such a simple job. No price break, no reason to ever call Tietze plumbing again.

This is only the second time in several years that we have needed a plumber. The issue this time, a loose kitchen faucet, was a somewhat minor fix for a plumber with proper tools but was something we could not have easily done.Once again Tietze was worth the call -- from the professional way they answered the telephone, to swiftly setting up an appointment, to the plumbers' arrival (early within the promised time frame), to the very reasonable charge for services rendered. Thank you again Tietze!! You earned and deserve all 5 stars.

The Work (shower valve replacement) was Completed quicker than expected and with no extra problems. Quick, courteous, and cleaned up afterwards. Not good. Had them come because we had them out three years ago, and had a good experience. This time, not so. They came out to unclog a drain. Couldn’t do it. Said he needed a helper. Spent a great deal of time trying to determine what else is wrong with our pipes - separate issue. Got some pie in the sky estimates...that’s it. Got a Bill for $343 for today! Which means we paid $343 to get our free estimates! Sorry, will not call them a third time!Joel C

The service technician told me I would need to replace or rebuild 3 toilets (also stated they can't guarantee the rebuild would work and recommended replacement) due to the fill valve and/or flapper not working properly.... at a cost of $1519 or $723 respectively. When I stated the parts cost around $25 @ any hardware store, he stated it was because of labor (this is a less than 10 minute job per toilet). I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. It is really sad that companies try to scam people into replacing entire toilets because of a flapper that has reached it designated life expectancy. I called a handyman and they are coming to fix the toilets for parts +$125.

A representative came out on a Saturday and installed a kitchen faucet for me as I had a house full of company coming. My faucet was old and just a trickle would come out. He was a life saver. He was very professional and kind.

We, like many in Texas, wound up with a busted hose bib outside our home during recent snow storms. As we began to call around to find a plumber to repair this, we were pleased Teitze Plumbing could come within 24 hours for repair. The service guys were on time, professional and completed the repair under 1 hour. However, to charge $646 seems a bit opportunistic when people were scrambling for help. That’s a steep price for the issue and resolution, so cannot help but feeling a bit gouged. In addition, we asked for a receipt to be sent, and have not received and it’s been a week since repair.

Travis and crew did an amazing job repairing the drain plumbing under the house. He explained everything they were doing and went above and beyond. We will use them again as needed and highly recommend them.

I called Tietze to come examine my water pressure because my tankless water heater was not producing enough hot water. After an examination they determined my water pressure was at -50psi. I asked them to call the manufacturer, which they did, and the tietze tech was told the recommended pressure should be -80psi. When presented with a quote to complete the work i was in total shock -$800! They recommended that i replace the PRV which included trenching and a new line etc. my house is only 3 yrs olds mind you. I called my builder and he told me to grab a pressure gage attach it to the water line outside and adjust the pressure by turning the screw on the existing PRV clockwise. I now have accurate water pressure and it didn’t cost me $800 only a $49 appointment fee (smh). Completely disappointed in this company and hope anyone who uses them does their homework ahead of time or find a different more trustworthy company entirely. Next step is the BBB.

Did not fix.On Dec. 7, 2020 I called TIETZE plumbing to see if I could schedule a plumber to come fix a yard leak between the house and the water meter. A lady answered the call and stated that someone could come out sometime mid afternoon to address. She stated a 50.00 dollar service call would be charged to have someone come out. I agreed and explained that we had already cleared the area where the water was coming up from the ground to give a general location to the plumber before he came out to check. I also explained that the reason for calling Tietze Plumbing was because the owner came out to a faculty meeting that was held at the school I worked at in Northside ISD and I thought I would give them the business. Mid day received a call that the plumber was running late but would arrive before the end of the day. A text was sent to verify the employee coming to do the job a Mr. Walker Gumbert.The plumber did arrive and stated that to locate the leak the charge would be 190.00 per hour if it was found in the first 30 minutes there would not be a charge. This hourly rate was not mentioned in the morning during the initial phone conversation however, we agreed for the plumber to begin locating the leak. Two hours later, as the professionals had not located the leak and we asked that they suspend searching. A verbal proposal was given to remove the line from the house to the water meter with a new line installed. Mr. Walker Gubbert took our check payment stating an invoice would be emailed as well as an estimate of the replacement line later in the day.Neither the invoice or estimate were sent until the next morning (11:00) after a phone call was made by us to inquire the following questions: Where was the invoice for the payment made the day before ? Where was the proposed estimate ? If we precede with estimate, will any of the 380.00 be applied toward the total cost to off set services ? Paid 380.00 and services were not rendered to locate leak, estimate was not presented in a timely matter after digging was completed, what is solution ? Is there a warranty and for how long? If we were to proceed once reading the estimate how long would the job take?These questions were not answered as that a lady at the company stated she would have to ask some else and get back with us. Someone did finally call at 2:30 in the afternoon stating a master plumber would be sent out to find the leak. Twenty minutes that person called and stated he was on his way to repair the line. At that point he we stated to him not to come out since we had just received the estimate 3 ½ hours earlier to review the 1900.00 dollar job without having any of the questions answered from the 11:00 phone call we initiated.We will never call this company out again and we will express our opinion to anyone that we know as well as to those that work in Northside ISD. There was no partner perk in using this company.

Alvin was our plumber and truly went above and beyond. Our water heater went out and he came out that evening. Even after getting a blowout tire on the way. He was nice enough to call me and let me know the situation and that he would still come by after fixing his tire. Unfortunately the time he arrived I had just left to pick up my kids and he still waited and finished the job that night. I don't think he left till 9pm! Amazing work ethic and great attitude. Very impressed and would recommend to anyone.

Very pleased with the work performed by Eddie. I am however, a little disappointed with their appointment setters gathering my information and accurately confirming next steps of the process after having spoken to the plumber who they had call me. Clearly some in-house communication breakdown but all things considered, I’m glad the plumber made the necessary repairs to solve our leaking shower.

Contacted Tietze plumbing to come out and give me an estimate on to install a water softener that we had purchased for install in our home, which is pre plumbed. Tietze wanted $814 for the installation. This price is simply absurd. Other plumbers in the area want at maximum, $400. For this 5 minute estimate, they attempted to charge us a $49 service fee. Every other plumber I called was happy to give me a ballpark estimate for a pre-plumbed home over the phone, no pressure.They will try to strong arm you into paying this by sending you an audio recording of the initial phone call when you schedule the estimate. An audio phone call is not an agreement and is disgusting behavior to try to use this as leverage. This service fee is completely anti-consumer and it is designed to force you into paying for overpriced service. STAY AWAY.

I called on the afternoon on 21 Oct 2017. The rep who answered was courteous and indicated that a plumber would contact me go set up a visit to my house Tom provide a free estimate. A few minutes later Edward called and said he could drop by in an hour. He showed up on time abd after listening to what was wrong, he provided me the estimate. We agreed to it, and he began the work. I found Edward to be friendly, professional, and quick. He was able to fix my problem (leaking water supply valve) and offered suggestions on maintenance. Overall, I was very satisfied and would highly recommend Tietze Plumbing to those in need.

I contacted this Plumbing Co bc they were nearby had great reviews on Nieghborhood App. dispatcher texted pic of plumber. 2 men showed up, and the plumber was instructing the very young man on how to disconnect valve behind refrigerator for ice machine. Then Actual plumber went outside and on his cell. I attempted to ask a question and he walked away. I could see that the apprentice was struggling then he went outside. I called dispatcher as asked who was assigned the plumbing job and nice lady said the plumber. I informed her the plumber hadn’t done a thing. When both men came inside I asked who is the plumber . And plumber said I am , and I said I would appreciate if you would work on the plumbing problem instead of the rookie. He then proceeded to take over, finished job I paid but no receipt . Plumber looked displeased never smiled. Poor customer service skills

This was a serious emergency call. I found a lot of water on garage floor this morning as I stepped into garage to go to work. Called my home insurance. Even though this company was booked for the day, because of criticality of us being without water, as we turned off incoming water supply, Edward was dispatched. Leak was identified within the wall, Edward cut out the portion of copper pipe where a hole had sprung, and completed the repairs in a very. Efficient manner. I would highly recommend the company and use them again if we need to.. My first experience with them!

They came out and replaced hot water heater today. Called this morning at 7:30 and they had it in this afternoon before 3:00. It was a little pricey (compared to Lowe’s or Home Depot install) but it looks like very good quality work and they were good to deal with. Would use again.

Edward -service tech- didn't asked me if I wanted the repair done after viewing problem, he proceeded to start the job, also stated he only had Moen parts(I offered to run to Home Depot for Delta part)Edward refused to show me the breakdown of the cost of the job on his tablet, also refused to tell me estimate time it would take to complete the job which consisted of repairing a leaky shower faucet. I called the company spoke to representatives (as I was speaking to Edward...)and was told this was not their policy/practice...they apologized..$49.99 for the trip..$29.99 if I accepted the tech to do the job..Edward never asked me if I wanted him to proceed. Verbally he told me $184..and change..well folks. They called him and told him not to charge me the 49.99 then he left. I found out its a minimum 5 minute to 15 minute job( via a plumber advisor (home depot). To end this nightmare of a situation. I did it my self..I would NEVER recommend this company to any Veteran..Yes I am a former servicemember..USAF.6/5. - good thing I have cctv 24/7 in my home...wired for sound and motion..Edward never stated the cost up front , I had to actually request the estimate from him as previously stated, which he apologized for NOT stating it..and the representative also apologized for him ..no reason to be untruthful.

Had a small leak according to the water meter but had no idea where the leak actually was. The guys came out and systematically ruled out the outside lines and pretty efficiently got to the root of the problem. It turned out I had a leak in the slab and luckily we were able to narrow it down to a line running to an external hose bib that was leaking below the slab. It was not a faucet I use so we just bypassed it. Would hire again!

Walker Gumbert and Dalton Bratton just finished my bathroom sink faucet install and my garbage disposal. They did professional work and were very Covid protocol compliant. They even slipped covers onto their shoes! I have always hated that garbage disposal so Walker gave me quotes on replacing or re piping. I chose to remove it. He re piped the sink and dishwasher and they left everything very clean and even took the old junk away! Tietze plumbing is the best !

I noticed I had a water over pressure problem Sunday afternoon. I called them Monday morning at 8. Edward arrived by 9:30 am. Pressure regulating valve replaced just before 11 am. Edward also took the time to show and explain everything he did to correct the problem. My neighbor had the same problem a year ago and said he paid same as I did to a different plumbing company.

Angel was very courteous and professional, fixed my problem, but I thought his charge was expensive in spite of getting a 1 year warranty on the job performed.

My wife called this company, because she had worked with the owner's wife some years ago.We had a leak in a fresh water pipe that was built into a slab in an older house. A plumber and helper came in for two 3-4 hour sessions, cutting away wallboard to view the pipes, and then spending several hours on a guess that it was a cold line. Turns out it was a hot line, which probably could have been discovered by turning off each line to check for continued leak.Bill at the conclusion was about $145 an hour for plumber and helper. Seems somewhat high, especially with concern that it could have been determined quicker.Then they gave a quote for running a replacement line. The quote of $1500 seemed high, but I didn't know what they had to do to run the replacement line. It turns out that the same two guys took less than three hours to run a line through the attic. They refused to give any breakdown of time or costs.I guess they saw us coming in this situation. Well, it will be our last time to call this company.There was a suggestion from them of calling somebody else to get a different quote. Sounds like they knew they were excessive. However, the problem with having two different companies in on a project is that if something goes wrong, then each company will blame the other, and neither will take responsibility. Therefore, once Tietze crew started we were stuck with that company.

Do not use this company. You must keep a specific itemization of their work - they do not. They are overpriced and cannot account for their own work. As an unhappy customer, I found out the hard way with this company - dare to question or speak up and you are the one to blame - they are always right.

Plumber arrived on time and gave me the estimate, which I accepted. The final cost was almost a third LOWER than the estimate. I can’t remember that last time the cost was lower than the estimate on anything fixed in this house by anyone. Thank you
