Called for a emergency yesterday as my toilet was flooding my downstairs and could not be told no one was available for emergency until I gave all my information......shouldn't you tell me if someone can come first? Have my info to just be told no one available

I called Clarke Kent because I was having problems with my water softener. Their technician came and quoted me $1,117 to repair the unit, or $2,531 to install a new unit provided by them. I decided to get a second opinion from Radiant Plumbing, and they came and repaired my unit with minor adjustments for under $200. I'm thinking that either the technician from Clarke Kent is very inexperienced, or they were trying to hose me. I will not be calling Clarke Kent again for any plumbing services, and strongly advise homeowners to always get a second opinion when you receive a large estimate for repairs.

Called them looking for help with a recent leak and they went above and beyond to help! Everyone is very friendly and they do honest work.

I wish I could give you 10 stars, as you folks are more then a plumbing company and are practically two companies in one. You folks are movie trailer Masters. And bravo on matching the donation.

I called Gilbert because i was conerned about our bathroom sinks. Gilbert diagnosed the issue immediately and assured me that i did not need any extensive repair. Then he went on to give me some excellent advice about our shower. Very professional and educational, ill be calling him with any future plumbing issues.

We used them to replace our manifold. Carlos was professional, friendly and did a great job. He came in for an estimate and was able to return the next day to do the repair.

The install came with a few extra hurdles but Brandon took care of everything in a kind and professional way. I also appreciated the quick response.

John came by my house today and was very helpful and courteous. He identified the problem, fixed it, and even explained how I could fix it in the future. I am very satisfied with my experience with John and Reliant.

Roto Rooter departed Saturday leaving a dehumidifier in my attic. The next day I had no hot water, air conditioner attic units had stopped working, the attic light was inoperative and the outlets in both my bathroons were dead. Unfortunately, there is one outlet in the garage on the same circuit as the bathrooms. My second fridge is on that circuit.On Sunday Roto-Rooter's serviceman discovered the lack of hot water was due to the dehumidifier blowing out the pilot light. Rotor-Rooter wanted to charge me $260 to re-light the pilot.I have another company's electrician coming out Friday to trace the problem with the dead outlets. Today the fridge is running on an extension cord to another outlet. The air conditioning started working again on Monday immediately when Roto-Rooter unplugged the attic dehumidifier. I had to throw out ice cream and some food from the fridge.When I spoke with the Austin general manager he wanted to convince me that my gripe that I did not get value for the $200 an hour labor rate was unfounded. I understand that plumbers charge twice that of certified doctors and lawyers and this is how a free market works. However, in a free market I can also be dissatisfied with a product or service and say so to the market. Cannot have it both ways i.e. appeal to the free market regarding pricing but disavow a free market's practice of criticizing bad or praising good service.Jason also had a gripe with my previous on-line evalution where I claimed plumbers were apprentices. This is what Andrew, a company representtive, communicated to me. Not my problem that Roto-Rooter project managers are not aware of their employee's skill levels. The service I encountered was amateur and worthy of an apprentice and not a licenced journeyman.Jason started to bully me to change my previous on-line assessment. Call ended acrimoniously. This posting is a revised assessment.I paid $264 to change a flex pipe. I was left with no hot water (wife cold showered before going to church),  cancelled my Sunday lunch at Red Lobster with friends celebrating a birthday to accomodate Roto-Rooter's scheduling to fix a problem Roto-Rooter had caused, left with no air conditioning, inoperative bathroom outlets and a defrosted fridge. Now having to spend approximately $300 to have an electrician diagnose electrical outlet problem.Andrew, the project manager, was going to call me at 9:00 am on Monday to update me regarding resolving the electrical issues. Is now Wednesday morning and still waiting for his call, despite calls to the dispatcher, Andrew's cell (which goes straight to voice mail) and to the other project manager, Nick.Nick on Monday around 1pm:Andrew is standing right next to me, he will be calling you back right now!.

This is the company you wish every company was like. They are professional, conscientious, detail and quality oriented. They come no time and finish on time. They can do complicated jobs or very simple. We added a gas line and had general plumbing work done too.Don't even think about trying someone else. Use these guys. It will be done right and you will be satisfied for years to come.

I found a lot of good reviews for this company and I'm pretty happy with the results. They fixed four leaks in about 90 minutes. Not too shabby. A tad pricy but hey, compared to the amount of plaque buildup in my heart I avoided, stressing and yelling, making mistakes, and all the runs to Lowe's because I bought the wrong part, and all the rest I would've experienced doing it myself.... Jeff and his cohort were kind, educational, and friendly. They solved the problem quickly and were willing to check another problem I have been trying to isolate. Jeff even helped remotely to prime the water heaters after the propane ran dry! Exceptional service!
