Greg was really friendly and did an awesome job. He went above and beyond to make sure that everything was up and running with no more issues before he left, while also answering all my questions and making sure that we were set up and ready to go. I really appreciated all his help and his work to solve our issue, specially with it being 7:30PM on a Sunday night.

The day before a huge cold front came in, we had an outdoor spigot break off, and had to turn water off to our house. Other companies we called couldn't get to us for about a week, and we would have had to go through Christmas with no water.Roto Rooter got us scheduled the very next morning. The plumber who responded to our call was very professional and nice, and explained everything well. He was actually 5 minutes early, which I thought was amazing since I was fully expecting to wait hours like I have with other home services I've had done. The repair was done quickly and held up great through the cold snap (and more). We were only without water for less than 24 hours.Disaster averted! Thank you!

From start to finish Ronnie was amazing - super sweet and helpful. He was very thorough and diligent to make sure things went smoothly and I felt reassured. He and Kyrsten both helped me start the insurance claim. He explained everything in language I could understand and kept me updated throughout the day as he worked. Greg was absolutely fantastic! He arrived on time and was happy to help fix an extremely clogged drain as well as an issue with one of the toilets. Had an issue with my very old water heater, which they promptly diagnosed and replaced. The new heater had better water pressure, but this unfortunately resulted in ~15 years of debris in my pipes clogging my kitchen sink. They happily came back out and replaced my kitchen sink, free of charge. Highly recommend their services!

I decided to go with Roto-rooter because I needed a Saturday repair and they were the only company that answered the phone. I accepted my request right away and gave me updates on my technician ever hour until he arrived. Work was high quality and technician was very professional. I will call them again. We called Roto Rooter because we had sewage backing up into our showers and toilets after hours. They got someone here (Greg) in less than an hour. He was very nice and professional and got our clog cleared within 30 min. They will follow up with additional steps this week as well. We used them a year ago for a pipe that clogged due to roots and they came out right away, showed us everything they were doing and got us fixed up within the day. I highly recommend them. They are also reasonably priced.

Clean out service came quickly to remove a clog. The video camera follow up, which is part of the service, took another week to finally get done. I don't have a clean out so i had to keep my toilet pulled while waiting for that service. Not great communication or urgency on the part of RR to get it done.

I really regret calling Roto-Rooter.I own a duplex in Austin. My tenants unexpectedly had their gas shut off by Texas Gas, and when they finally came to turn it back on, they did not start the water heater.We tried multiple times to start the heater ourselves, knowing it should be a simple fix, but just couldn’t seem to get it started. I was worried about the tenants as they hadn’t had hot water for days at that point and it was set to freeze that night. I decided to just go ahead and call someone to come out and help, as I thought there may need to be a part replacement.Roto rooter came out the same day within a matter of hours, which is commendable. They charge a $75 service fee which can be applied toward the cost of work if work is done. The technician was very friendly and kind. I explained to him the issue and that I thought it was a problem with the igniter. He told me if he could get the water heater to start, it would be $300. I honestly thought he meant that would be the price to replace the piece I thought needed to be fixed. He then proceeded to start the water heater simply following the same steps I had been doing. I was surprised and relieved that it worked without repair. He then told me that that alone would be the $300 that we discussed. I was shocked. A decent service would’ve charged the service fee (seeing as no work was done) and that would be more than reasonable. Roto rooters service charges are extremely expensive, and I felt taken advantage of because I didn’t fully understand what I was getting myself into when I agreed to let the technician try to start the heater. I’ve seen multiple reviews now calling them out for their predatory pricing mechanisms. Will not recommend this company to anyone and will not be calling them again.

Daniel White and Greg Lancaster responded to my panicked request immediately and were there within 30 minutes on a Sunday. They quickly diagnosed and cleared the clogged pipe issue and had us back up and running in less than an hour! They were both extremely courteous, kind and efficient! Great customer service!

I think his name is Mr. Greg he was very polite and whoever is the supervisor I would like to think that supervisor to because my dad is dying of decompensated psoriasis of the liver and he elected to do hospice at home and I need the water in the pipes working so I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Our business had a leak in the main line and were unable to open because of it. Within 24 hours, Roto-Rooter had a team diagnose the issue, locate the leak, repair it and get us back in service as if nothing had happened. The loss of only 1 day was huge for us as we are a bar who can't be open without running water and do most of our business on nights and weekends. Oscar was able to determine what was causing the problem with our shower drain. He explained the problem very well. He was very kind and professional.

Don’t use a plumber that 1) refuses to even give rough pricing over the phone, 2) uses a price book instead of an hourly rate, 3) charges a house call fee just to provide pricing.They’ll show up, glance at the project, and pull an exorbitant number from an obscure pricing system. You’ll pay $1500 for a 2 hour job because you don’t want to lose the diagnostic fee when you could have paid an honest plumber $150-200, maybe even $250, per hour to do the job.That was me 3 years ago when I was dumb and used Roto-Rooter. Never again. Now I have a guy I pay a fair hourly rate.

Mark came to assess and quote for a routine maintenance service. The price was more than expected even with the coupon, but Mark was very professional and even gave good hints for diy maintenance even though we did not use them today.

They scheduled an appointment within 2 hours of when I called, same day. Technicians were polite and knowledgeable about grinder pumps. Cleaned up after themselves. Difficult to compare price.The system failed after three days. Greg was back two hours after I called. He worked all day to track down the electrical problem. Jesus and Jose came that evening, and again this morning. It’s fixed. The 6-month warranty covered it all. Technicians were all professional and pleasant.

We thought we had a leak so we called Roto-Rooter on a Friday.The serviceman they sent, Javier, was wonderful and thoroughly performed leak detection but did not find any so he requested for a follow-up for another team to come. The next team came and were just as thorough using high tech camera all for one service fee. Great service overall.

My tenant was having issues with the water heater. In turned out to be that it needed to be replaced. Javier helped us through the whole process, completed the installation the next day, and for a reasonable cost. I would 100% use Javier again!

The plumber who came at night on an emergency call was excellent and fixed the problem. After another man came out a few days later to check inside all our pipes with a camera and discovered a root starting to grow in. It was expensive but totally with it. Such good service!

We called on Friday around noon, at 6pm that same day they were at our house to help fix our clogged toilet. I believe his name was Mark, and he did a fantastic job getting our toilet in proper order. He did a few test flushes just to make sure everything was good to go. I definitely recommend this company with your plumbing needs

Larry was the best plumber I have ever used. He is a genius and figured out the problem with lack of hot water facuet working. Will use Larry every time I have a plumbing issue. I had a mainline backup/clog, and they were here so fast. The guy was very nice and professional. I’d been a little worried about going with a huge company, but it was a great experience.

The plumber installed my garbage disposal and charged me almost $500 for 15 minutes of work. I will probably never use Roto Rooter again. I was robbed.

Overpriced, make sure to quote with other providers too to compare. They quoted $3,200 for a fix that was literally changing an elbow in a PVC connector, fortunately I had someone else to compare quotes. Also they charged me $69 just to give me the quote. Ridiculous.

Last night was the worst, flushed my toilet and it backed up into my shower stall, I called Roto-Rooter's emergency line, and first thing the next morning one of their Excavation Specialists, Oscar was there to help clear out my main drainage line! He explained everything well, was super polite, and we got everthing back to normal. I highly reccomend!

Dionte' Smith came out to our business as a field supervisor to diagnose backed up plumbing and gave professional, well-explained solutions to mitigate fallout after the incident. He was really personable and went out of his way to follow up in person after his initial visit. He knows his stuff and has an understandable concern for the health of people when it comes to water damage.

My technician Gilbert Ventura was friendly and solved my issues rapidly. Beyond that they taught how to repair this issue in the future.

We were given constant updates as to the ETA for our service. I was able to get in touch with the dispatch very easily too. No long wait behind an automated message system.Greg arrived first and provided outstanding service in trying to help locate the problem. He was very patient and careful within my new house and new carpets. He quickly called in additional help and a camera scan as soon as he recognized that it was not a simple fix so that I would not experience any further delays.Daniel arrived within 20 minutes of the call to take a camera to the pipes. Daniel was excellent in explaining the process and then locating the clog in the pipe. He stayed in constant contact with me to assure me that they were on it and he brought in an excavation team to dig to the pipe. This went a long way towards reducing my anxiety.Jason and Cliff arrived to dig into the ground and find the clogged pipe. They were also able to locate the missing outlet valve which was deeply buried under the landscaping and gravel. With the valve exposed, they were able to unblock the pipe and solve the problem. The Thursday service was very professional and friendly. He kept me informed as the work progressed. Wednesdays customer service was very poor. Text msg that the tech will be here in 30-45 minutes. An hour later no tech. I sent a text for a new ETA. Shortly thereafter I received a call saying that the tech would no be coming on Wednesday.

Great job! Showed up when they said they would and did what they said needed to be done for the price I was quoted at.

Update 2023: Ronnie and Patty came out late in the evening to fix a pump that had died. They are both professional, friendly, knowledgeable and communicate very well. We had an issue where our clean out was clogged after we moved out for a prolonged period of time during a renovation. During the site visit, the tech quickly looked at the layout of the system, presented our service options, and handled the problem. He was kind and professional and mentioned that the service itself (a cleaning) was warrantied which surprised me.

called on a wednesday and was told plumber would be there in an hour. this got pushed 4 times and they showed up the following day. was not advised what price would be, got billed $700 for pulling and clearing a urinal, visit was less than 30 minutes. 4 attempts to reach management resulted in a combative dale who has abrasive and unhelpful. call a small local plumber and avoid these rip off merchants.

I had an upgrade water heater to commercial with an extended warranty to replace my old water heater. I also have a new gas control valve. Larry is fabulous. I highly recommend him. He did me a huge favor by not buying residential for replacement parts.

Oscar did a first rate job tracing some water lines --not owned by the city-so that the folks coming to install a gate and fence did not damage them. They have experience and tools to do the job right. Oscar was a first rate engineer with a world of experience. Highly recommended.

So the technician was very professional he explained everything that he was gonna do and did exactly that...now when it come to dispatch I have a very different opinion. I was originally scheduled for Monday between 8-12 which was confirmed by email and text. When I hadn't heard anything the lady in dispatch tried to lie and say I was scheduled for Tuesday if they were to busy and couldn't get to me she should have just said so instead of lying about it. Y'all have phone calls recorded for quality assurance I'm sure y'all will know who she is. Other than that service was great.

Chad from roto rooter water restoration was amazing! My toilet flooded my bathroom and bedroom and Chad was able to thoroughly walk me through what needs to be done and explain why. He provided detailed information on the next steps as well as provided information directly to my insurance making this a much less stressful process for me. Jason was called to help fix my toilet. He arrived in a timely manner and was able to quickly service my toilet. This was an overall great experience and will use and recommend them going forward.

Called last night about 10 PM for a plugged sewer line. Answering service said they had someone on call. They called back the wrong number to say they had nobody available until morning. The next morning they were responsive. Had someone there about 9:00 AM. Cleared the drain pronto. Then sent a camera person to check for future trouble. Cost roughly doubled in 10 years since last time this happened. But worth the cost to get it done and checked out.

Quick turnaround time from appointment set up to arrival. Less than 24 hours but WAY too expensive for a toilet installation!! $600?!? And we already had the toilet!

I had an emergency toilet issue on a Sunday. They dispatched Logan for the call that afternoon. Logan is a very polite gentleman. He replaced the wax seal to my toilet and caulked around it. He explained in detail the process and showed me what he was doing. He cleaned very well after the job too! I will be using Roto-Rooter for future services.

Mark was super polite and communicated well everything that was going on! He explained things for me so that I could better take care of the plumbing in our home and ensured we’d had no future problems. Arrived within two hours of me calling. Definitely recommend!

I'm very satisfied with the service provided. Although it was rescheduled several times I was contacted each time with explanation. Finally, Jose and Jesus were available and quickly identified the problem. They came prepared, well equipped, acted courteously and professionally, explained the best solution, and fixed the problem quickly. The price was also competitive in comparison to other quotes. I recommend their services to anybody interested.

City ID'ed a 1.3 GPM leak when reading my meter.Called RR and the service techs arrived about an hour after later. They explained the standard fee to find & repair a leak in the service line to the house. They were able to identify the source of the leak with their listening equipment and had it dug up in about 20 min after they arrived. A 45 degree elbow in the line to the house had cracked due to the soil shifting (21YO house). They repaired the break; let the pipe glue dry, verified that it would hold, and then filled in the (small) hole in the lawn. Very professional and courteous. The price was steep (~ $900), but worth the the quick turnaround . It is so easy to take functioning plumbing for granted...until it is not functioning plumbing.

There was a leak after the the work was done. I called Roto Rooter and scheduled appointment on same day. No one came. I called again and was told the plumber’s truck had mechanical problems. Scheduled 3rd appointment for following day. Paid. $305.00. Work not done correctly. Parts cost was less then $10 and total time of work was less than an hour. $305.00 was unreasonable for this work!!!

I had been with no hot water for a week and my warranty company couldn't get me a plumber so I called. Roto-Rooter on Friday and they came on Saturday and fixed my problem. The technician was very sweet and very polite, he did the job efficiently . My family and I were very happy customers.

I woke up to a clogged kitchen sink on a Saturday morning. Tried to unclog it myself, but the problem was a little bigger than I anticipated. I sucked it up and decided to hire someone. Roto Rooter gave me guaranteed service within 2 hours of my call.And what great service it was! They sent 2 guys at separate intervals -- the remediation guy (Ernie) first, then Isaiah (drain tech) a while later. Very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. The price was quite reasonable given 2 professionals came over separately on a Saturday, without me having made an appointment. 5 stars for Roto Rooter!

All of my plumbing was backed up and I could not reach the clog with a standard snake. I gave up and called Roto Rooter at 5pm and the job was complete and cleaned up by 7pm. The plumber was polite and friendly, didn't talk down to me (I'm a woman), and masked up without being asked. Also, the final cost was $75 less than the initial quote. I would absolutely call them again.

Called for commercial plumbing repair on Saturday morning. Without even a visit, I was told that the master plumber knew that he could not repair it until Monday when parts were available from a commercial warehouse. This without ever coming out and diagnosing. They told me that they would put us first on the list Monday from 8-10am. Called them at 1030am and they said that they would have the dispatcher call me with an update. No call all day long. Called Tuesday morning and asked what happened. They did no have an answer for the no show. They said that the plumber was now headed our way, should be within 45 minutes. Called back 20 minutes later and said that the plumber had issues with his van. They would call back when someone could get out. 3 hours later I call and get put on hold while dispatch was consulted. I again was told that dispatch would call me back. An hour later I call again, and explained that this is getting ridiculous and the operator assured me that the plumber was on the way, not in the most apologetic or nice tone may I add. Plumber did show a little over an hour later, fixed the easy problem of changing the diaphragm in the urinal. Parts $20, labor $495. No offer to discount due to poor customer service and waiting for 3 days after initial set up for service. In addition, I found diaphragm parts at home depot here in Austin that are in stock. So in essence, if the plumber would have actually come out on Saturday when i called instead of assuming, this would have been taken care of Saturday, and not Tuesday. Men's room closed for 3 days. We have used them before, but this will make us think twice next time.

Absolutely amazing service from the moment we called until they left. Our hot water heater went out and they managed to fit us into their busy schedule for the day. Everyone was very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Jose and Jesus, master plumbers, were able to find the heater we needed and installed it in a very short time. They took the time to answer our questions, show us how the new heater works, and how to do the routine maintenance. They are definitely a 5 star company and we will us them for all our future plumbing needs. Try them...you won't be disappointed!

I will start by saying, today, 6/14/22, the customer service with Jose was great. He explained in detail and was knowledgeable about the whole situation that we are facing. He gave options for us to move forward. However, my original appointment was for 6/13/22. A whole day and finances wasted. I had to make arrangements for a fill-in for students that I homeschool, arrange a babysitter for infant grandchild. All time and funds wasted. Had to bring all the kids with me to the appointment on 6/14/22.I'm aware of COVID & workers are few but Companies should try and understand that we are all dealing the best that we can and he a little more understanding.Overall, I am very satisfied with today's appointment.

While other places tell you they are open 24/7, they are not.They are a scam. Roto Rooter really is. We had to call on a Sunday and they were there within 1.5 hrs. Professional, friendly, timely, and clean. They tell you what it will cost up front. Great service!

Friendly, prompt, competent service. A real joy to work with master plumbers. My toilet was stopped up by a tub drain strainer. The plumber was able to get it out quickly and gave me a discount on the standard service charge because it didn’t take him very long. I will use Roto Rooter again when a plumber is needed.

The two servicemen who came to my home were both very professional. They clearly explained what likely was the problem and what the first and easiest method to quickly confirm the issue and remedy it. I have not had any problems since they resolved the issue. I wasted my entire weekend waiting for a technician that I had an appointment with Saturday at 10am. I kept getting calls all day Saturday being told someone was still coming. Then finally Saturday evening they called and told me they would schedule me for Sunday morning at 8am. I got one phone call at 10:30am to tell me someone would still be coming. It's 7pm Sunday evening. Still no plumber and not got any further calls. Completely unacceptable.

I had a slab leak recently and called several plumbing companies in town to troubleshoot the problem. I must say Roto-Rooter really stands out. Jose and Jesus were extremely professional. Mark from roto-rooter came to unplug my drain. He was very professional and explained what he was going to do and how much it would cost. After unplugging my drain he even give me some tips on helping to preventing this from happening again. I would use roto-rooter again.

Had a clog on the main. Worked until the problem was resolved. Took time to make sure the problem was properly resolved. Did not leave a mess for me to clean up. Did not try to upsell more work, focused on the problem at hand.Update: A camera inspection was part of service i paid for. Never heard from them. Then they called out of the blue on CHRISTMAS DAY to have a tech come by. Refused, was not told a new scheduled time. Weird.

On New Year's Day, Roto dispatch took my call and found a technician willing and able to fix the leak in my house which was flooding walls and flooring.Logan was the tech who took the call from dispatch. Extremely polite and enthusiastic. Couldn't have been nicer really. Explained everything as he went along and was not bothered by my questions.It's a condo with odd pipe configurations across multiple units. The issue was more complicated than just a snake through the lines, but he figured it all out.He saw the damage it had caused, so he called his restoration teammate Chad and asked him if he could come over to access the damage. Chad drove from New Braunfels to Cedar Park. Quite an effort on any day, but especially on Saturday, New Year's Day.He did a great job as well. Direct about the damage, but not pushy on the sales side either. Both of them together made a great team.I did not have an accurate perception of Roto- Rooter and never used them before because of it. Now I know better. I had another plumber tell us we had roots in our line and gave a quote to repair that would range $3500-18,000 and said it was urgent. We were not having any issues; they were out for something unrelated and ran a camera in our lines.Called Roto Rooter for second opinion.They suggested to call City of Rock first as they may take care of it if it was close enough to the easementThe City was out the next day and are fixing it!Roto Rooter saved us $1000s by being honest & trustworthy!! PROPERTY OWNERS BEWARE, The first hour of service regardless of whether it is a simple fix or something more complex the minimum invoice starts at $450. I had a loose valve under my sink, that was repaired by MacLinn plumbing soon after refusing to do business with Roto-Rooter for $180, Roto Rooter's invoice for the same repair was $515, mainly attributed to the fact that the initial hour of service is billed at the rate of $450/hr. When I refused the services they asked me to pay a $69 service call fee, I refused to pay because of their lack of transparency and was told a $69 lien will be placed on my $2.5m property. Absolute Clowns

Lazaro Diaz #2359 did a great job! He was on time, figured out the problem right away (beware of your a/c condensation drain clogging up your sink!), ran the snake thing and smashed that clog. In the process, he also let me see what my a/c does to my drain, and he helped me figure out a way to prevent it in the future. This was downright educational. Thanks, Lazaro!

First of all, the technician/plumber was nice and professional. The 2 days of cancellations of appointments, re-organizing our time for them, and then charging $350 to simply run a hand cranked auger through the line is ridiculously expensive. I will not use them again and will just find a neighborhood plumber. Not worth it.

Our kitchen sink got clogged. My husband attempted for 2 days to fix the problem and couldn't. So we broke down and scheduled an appointment. I was called about 1 hour before the technician arrived to inform me of the time frame they would be there. The technician came in and worked with us on a price. $250 and no more clog with a 6 month warranty. Highly recommend

I called roto Ritter plumbing since we had an emergency issue with a shower valve. They sent some one writhing 45 minutes. Jesus and Jose were really helpful and they did an amazing job. I would recommend their service to anyone who needs someone immediately

The 4-hour “window” was absurd. Then, when I asked for a more defined window, they did come faster. BUT, despite that I told them it could be a disposal replacement, I was stuck waiting for the plumber after he’d been there a long time, to go shop for a disposal (I had asked for them to bring one). Stuck waiting. Then, after he put in the disposal, he found he did not have the cord he needed, so he again went shopping while I waited. All this for what should have been at most an hour of work - I was essentially held prisoner (mess in kitchen) for about 4 hours. Then, when the disposal was installed, it leaked, so he had to call someone to find out it was a gasket. I have no idea if it is working properly. I was doing this for a seriously ill relative (in between hospital visits). i don’t even live there, yet I was stuck there for 4 hours for this ordeal. And, when I told the plumber it wasn’t all his fault, it was the company at fault, and I thanked “Peter” (on his shirt), he told me that’s not even his name. They can’t even provide a shirt with the correct name. A real horror story. I was exhausted - again, in between hospital visits for the sick property owner. Never, ever hire Roto Rooter. Never, ever. Worst experience ever. Making the customer wait for 2 shopping trips is ridiculous. OH, and he quoted me $350 at the outset for a replacement - then charged me almost $600, saying the $350 was labor only. OH MY GOD. What a horrible company (again, it’s not the plumber at fault - he works for a horrible company).

I can't begin to praise our technician, Isiah, enough! I walked out of my shower to a flood in my bathroom and room. About 1.5 hours later, the issue was in hand! It was a whopping 3 hours from start of problem to total solution, our drains and toilets are running better than they did when we moved in 2 years ago. It cost an actual fraction of what I was anticipating and every step of the process was explained. I will not be calling anyone else for future issues, nor should you!

I just purchased my first home and Roto Rooter was able to turn an incredibly overwhelming experience into a manageable one. Roto Rooter was great primarily because of their flexibility and availability. They were able to come do a same day repair which was awesome! The phone scheduling women was very kind and friendly and the plumber dispatched, Larry, was also very nice. My only issue is with the pricing. The initial visit fee is fair but you basically tie yourself into their high prices. Just over $500 for getting a shower faucet cartridge replaced. They don’t charge by the hour just standard rates for different jobs which they won’t disclosure until you have paid the service call fee to get someone out to you. Had I known the steep prices I would have gone with a local independent handyman. With a quick google search I was able to see I overpaid for a job that should have been Max $300.

Logan, the technician who was dispatched to my home to address a clogged kitchen sink, was prompt, courteous, and proved to be knowledgeable and efficient. He did an excellent job clearing the line and left zero mess behind. I must add, I am always pleased with the service I receive from Roto Rooter. Every time I have had to call, I get a technician at my house in less than three hours and the work is uniformly impeccable.

Our house has cast iron pipes which can be difficult to find a reliable plumber to work on. Roto-Rooter were quick, communicative and easy to work with. This is on one of our rental properties and Alexis (1068) called and explained the scope of the work to us and got the okay on pricing and plan of action prior to moving forward.(Don’t read if you don’t want the really gross specifics) I’m really grateful they came out and were able to check out the source of our clogged drain as it turned out a rat had attempted to crawl up from the sewer and got trapped and died in the process. Not an easy job (nor anything close to what we thought was going on) but our technician was able to do it quickly, efficiently and cleaned up after himself and kept us informed the entire time. Would 10/10 recommend and be my go to technician / company in the future.

Bad service across the board. They are not upfront about SET pricing. Technician is not fully aware of what to charge. Cost to even take a look at the water heater started at $305 and then jumped to $365. Will never use this company again and I am shocked they have decent review.

Larry came out after I had some construction dust in my burners. He performed a flush and cleaned the burners, then checked the valve in the attic. Everything is fixed good as new. Took around 3 + hours because of the troubleshooting, but he kept trying and finally figured it out.

Jennifer & Warren did absolutely perfect by us. We contacted Jennifer in the morning, and by the evening Warren was here with a bright attitude and cracking jokes with us at nearly 8pm and managed to fixed our issue within 30 minutes all the while. Had some issue where my hot water pressure drops down to a trickle. I called Roto-Rooter and had Jose and Jesus come by this morning. They were professional, kept to the hygiene protocol with masks and shoe covers, and got here at the arranged time (a little later than I would have liked but I understand that this Covid short staff thing is real.) It took a little trial and error to find out the problem and we got it resolved in less than an hour. So glad to have plumbers come by that are willing to test all solutions before proposing a huge pricey fix.

Oscar was absolutely incredible when we called to have his service our clogged main pipeline. On Christmas of all days, after calling the office to schedule an emergency repair, Oscar was there within the hour and diagnosed the issue within 10-15 minutes of arrival. Sometimes it’s hard to understand what’s happening with your plumbing, and plumbers can be difficult when sharing the details in layman’s terms. Oscar walked us through the issue that was occurring and told us how to prevent the clog from happening in the future. We highly recommend using Oscar, as he is an absolute gem of a person, and would be the first person we would call whenever we have a plumbing issue. Thank you Oscar for saving our Christmas!!!

I called roto rooter and they came out that day. Two men were very nice and gave me an estimate right away. They unclogged the sink and fixed the problem. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again. They were very professional with the work they did.

I called Tuesday night to set up an appt. Dispatcher said he could have someone over after hours but it would be a $69 trip charge. I told him we can wait for next day for a free estimate. Rodney/Bradley? shows up 2 hours late. He wasn’t personable at all. I needed to have a new flange soldered. He said it would be $550 for the first hour. He said it would be a bout a $995 plus parts for a 3hr job. I declined and then he asked for a service trip charge. I called Roto and they said it varies on who does free estimates. I was upset and had to lay. I called a competitor who got it done in 30 mins for &250! Roto Rooter is a rip off and I will never recommend them.

My name is Christian with Adept plumbing, I own a house in Kyle which my tenant didn't want to bother me, so they call Roto-Rooter which came flush the water heaters from sediment change everything without testing each element Charge $700 left at 5:00pm saying that they might have to change the water heaters for $3,200 The Tenant thought it was extreme, so they text me. I drove to the house at 7:00 in the evening, Troubleshoot in 30mins and come to find out that they replaced everything but they didn't rewire correctly the upper thermostat, which made the water heaters not working and then left saying they'll come back the next day leaving the family with the little One without hot water because. it couldn't figure it out and trying to sell a new water heaters. Awful company please stay away from Roto-Rooter and my tenant didn't even get partial refund after explaining and complaining.

I requested camera service to see if we had plumbing issues because of repeated toilet backing up into the shower. Even though we did not find an exact problem, he did a thorough job to see where we did not have a problem. He found some bellies in the plumbing from the house to the street which we chose not to fix. All in all, I was pleased with the service.

Service was scheduled for yesterday morning 9 to noon. No one showed. No one called to say they would be late. Did receive a call late afternoon saying someone would be out in an hour. Again, no one showed. And again, no call. This morning I received a call stating a service tech would be out in an hour. He was.Tech was very thorough - performed checks to verify the integrity of his work. Did an excellent job. Explained all to me. Very personable. If I could separate him from Roto-Rooter would definitely use him again -not so positive about Roto-Rooter. Expensive $405 sink and laundry room.

I had a clogged up toilet and Jonathan was able to fix the problem. I also had a leak on the toilet and he fixed that also. He did a wonderful job. If I have another problem I will definitely call y'all again. Thank you so much♥️♥️

Called Roto-Rooter to locate my clean out plug at my house, which I haven’t been able to find myself for the last 25 years. Oscar De La Fuente was my service technician, who arrived timely after dispatch advised he was on the way. Oscar made short work finding the clean out plug .. thank goodness. Additionally, Oscar was professional and very personable. No one likes to have plumbing issues, but if you do ask for Oscar … you won’t be disappointed in getting the job done by him.

I called them on a Sunday for a main drain clog , they scheduled for that afternoon. They finally let me know at six o'clock they were behind. I then scheduled for Monday afternoon, left work early and waited again. Called them at four and was told they had nobody available. I can understand if you are busy. .. Don't tell me you can make it if you can't! I used several hours of PTO for nothing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Technician came on a Sunday to unclog a line that was backing up AC condensation into one of our sinks. It was great to get help ASAP to keep the sink from overflowing. Everything was very clearly communicated before, during, and after the work was completed. The tech left the work area clean and more importantly didn't damage any property, etc. around the work area. We have wood floors and was also pleased to see that he wore boot covers to protect my floors and I didn't even have to ask. Will certainly call them again for future issues with clogged lines.

We had a bad main line clog that a previous plumber said needed to be dug up and then suggested a small company. We called them but they said it would be a couple days before coming out and it could cost us thousands, depending on the issue.Roto-Rooter came out the same day that I called and flushed the line before anything else, which fixed the issue. Our technician was professional and friendly, and let us know we have a 6 month period if anything else should act up. I'm so glad we called them!

We had a bad storm last night. Long story short, water leaked into the house and flooded half the house Friday night. I called Roto-Rooter and they sent over Chad Jones same night. He was super helpful and giving us options on mitigation. He was very professional and impressed me with his scanners and water sensors. Didn't even know those things existed! It was a really rough night and just his care for the safety of my family and home really put me and my wife at ease. I would highly recommend! Thank you!!

Great experience thus far. CJ arrived at the time the dispatcher said someone would be arriving. He took pictures, explained what he found, and was honest about what to expect to correct the damage. He started the mitigation process and did his best to expedite our plumbing ticket to get a plumber out ASAP. We’re hoping for a continued positive experience as we repair the damage.

**BEWARE**I called Roto-Rooter back on July 3rd 2021 since my water backed up into my house and thought it was a simple fix and my toilet needed to be unclogged. They said they would send out a serviceman and instead got a call from a salesperson named Chad Jones. He came over and convinced me to file a claim on my insurance and they would pay for everything including the mitigation and the reconstruction of my house. I trusted him and went ahead and filed the claim. I am not receiving emails from Julia Maiers from Roto-Rooter that I still owe them $2.400 that the insurance did not pay. I called my insurance and spoke with my adjuster and he stated that they did speak with Amy and they both settled to a lesser amount and now they want to charge me the difference. This company is definitely a SCAM and said they would send me to collections if not paid. This is very bad customer service and do not recommend this company to anyone. I will not ever use them again!

Oh my gosh I had lost all hope. My sewer line started getting clogged last weekend so I bought a closet auger then had to rent a 75 foot electric one from Home Depot which cleaned the line and worked for about a week. I was so depressed when it got clogged again this weekend. I called Roto Rooter and Oscar’s team was here in about an hour. He cleaned the line and used a camera to discover that my pipe is cracked! Luckily I was approved for credit and a new team will be coming out today to fix the crack! Oscar gave me a huge discount and he was so sweet to my family and my dog too. I will only call Oscar and Roto Rooter if I ever need plumbing help again and being that I live on clay, I’m sure I will need them again. Thank you Oscar! I’m so glad I met you today!

We had a plumbing service out twice and they could not unclog our drains and no other plumbers were available for at least a week. Roto Rooter San Marcos came to our rescue the next morning and fixed the main sewer drain problem within 90 minutes. Such a good job! Highly recommend.

I initially contacted Roto-Rooter for what seemed like a clogged pipe. Alexis came out to clear it on the same day and was a pretty quick procedure, they offer a complementary camera inspection of the pipes and Alexis especially emphasized it since the pipe didn't feel right.Brian Meld came out the next day or so to inspect it and sure enough, there was a good amount of damage mainly right under the house. He was very helpful in offering options and good estimates. I eventually took up the quote and agreed to get the pipe repaired.Ben started the repair job a few days later and all things considered did the job fairly quick. He did an amazing and clean job!All in all, the pricing was fairly reasonable compared to the area and other plumbing companies. My experience with Alexis, Patrick, Brian and Ben was great! everyone was friendly, professional and helpful with all my questions. At no point I felt like they were trying to sell me more than what I needed or rip me off in some way which is what I appreciate way more than a cheaper price.

They said they would show up between 2-6pm. Called them at 4 to check status and they said to hang tight and the plumber would be here before 6. Then I called again at 5:30 and dispatch said no technicians are available! Seriously, I waited 3.5 hours for that response. I don't know how this place gets 5 star reviews.

Oscar at Roto-Rooter was amazing and really saved the day for us. Our sewage line was clogged and we couldn't use the water in our house without causing a problem for us. I was worried we wouldn't be able to be get any one out to help us today. Oscar came out before calling it a day and was so great. He fixed our issue, was kind, respectful, informative and just a wonderful person who took the time to walk us through the process, explain the issues that were found and gave is great advice. Chad from Roto Rooter is the best! He came way quicker than I thought. Was professional and worked quickly. And he was very kind and friendly. I would 100% refer him to anyone looking for a plumber.

10/10 for my man Oscar! Very informative, friendly, and professional! 100% recommend. He also gave me some helpful tips and helped analyze an issue that the city needed to fix.

Although I pay for Priority service at Fox I was unable to get an appointment until three days out to fix a plumbing issue which precluded use of the only commode in our guest house while guests were staying there. Roto-Rooter was easy to get on the phone and came out within hours. The technicians (one plus a trainee) were professional and knowledgeable. They quickly addressed the problem.

Be mindful that there is a $69 trip change, and for my case, upon arrival a $385 inspection fee. That fee did not include any work completed of any kind. That was $385 just to inspect the problem. Additional fees applied if tools were required and on and on. Needless to say I declined their services.Oh, and they they missed the 8-10am appointment window as well.

The service tech was great. He gets 5 stars. The dispatchers and operators are terrible. They get zero stars. I was told we'll get someone to you today which then turned into first thing tomorrow morning which then was repeated when my tech hadn't showed by 6pm on the second day. Finally got someone at 2pm the next day. Absolute trash. I don't appreciate being lied to and strung along. If you can't get a tech out to service something, just say so instead of lying to the customers. The time I spent on the phone and the number of times I had to call is flat out ridiculous.

The men that provided the plumbing service did a great job! I am happy that they were able to come out within 24 hours after calling ROTO ROOTER the day before .

My water softener had quit working and was leaking so I wanted it removed. I called today and they were able to have someone here today. As it was being disconnected two of the hoses just broke! If I had had to wait until later in the week I might have been in deep water!!! No pun intended!!

What a great experience!! We had a broken water pipe due to the winter freeze. Jose and Jesus were prompt and polite. They took every COVID precaution coming into our home. We were very comfortable throughout the process. They even found a second broken pipe and repaired that as well. Entire process took about an hour. They were very professional even while our dogs were barking ??‍♀️ So loud we could hardly hear each other speak. We will definitely call them again if we need their services again in the future! Our first experience with Roto-Rooter was excellent. We had Oscar De La Fuente and his assistant Leon come out to do our estimate yesterday, and they worked with us to create a plan of action on the next steps needed. They were able to get the clog in our main line cleared very quickly. In addition, they used their camera to inspect the pipes to show us the condition. They made an anxious problem very simple and pleasant.

We had a great experience with the guys from the SA Roto-Rooter! They were very professional and kept working on the job until it was done at 10:00 pm! They were very informative about the options and the work they would perform and answered all our questions. So thankful to them for the hard work and professionalism they showed us! Oscar arrived within one hour from my initial call with a clogged drain line between the house and the street. He was professional courteous and quick. My husband and I just had a great experience with our plumber Oscar! There was sewage coming through all of our pipes, backing up into our washer, bathtubs and shower. Oscar showed up and exceeded our expectations. He remedied the issue, explained exactly what was happening and how to avoid it in the future. Shannon came out and was able to take care of the plumbing issue we had that 2 other plumbers weren't able to fix. He listened to me when I was describing the issue, and didn't just dismiss me. After about 20 minutes, he had the issue resolved and we have not had a repeat issue since! He was very professional, courteous, and quick. I would definitely recommend using this company for anyone needing quality work done.

After I posted the review, I was contacted by Roto-rooter and they adjusted the price. I changed the stars on my review from 3 to 5.The tech was friendly and knowledgeable. He arrived within the window of time set. I agreed to the price before the work was done. The work was completed in a reasonable time. The tech cleaned up after the work was done. I was happy with the tech.After the work was started, I did some research on the typical cost and found that the Roto-rooter price I agreed to was on the very very high end of what other companies charge to clean out a kitchen drain. I needed the work done and agreed to the price but will definitely do more research next time.

This was the best service I’ve experienced whether it be plumbing or anything. Logan was so knowledgeable, professional and patient. He was able to communicate with us the issue and step by step keep us informed about what he was doing. He went over and above, fixed our plumbing issue, then gave us some tips for preventative measures for the future. I felt like he truly cared and is a good person that you will feel comfortable with in your home. I would highly recommend Roto Rooter and ask for Logan 100%.

It cost $380 to change outdoor spigot. It took less than 10 minutes. Definitely not ever using these guys again. . I even had to provide the spigot. Not worth the value at all. Buyer beware.

Really a pleasure to work with Chris! He was incredibly professional and kind throughout the whole process. He and Larry were also very thoughtful, doing work in a specific bathroom, near our baby’s room first, so that they wouldn’t make noise during her nap, which I really appreciated. Fantastic service!! We got an alert about a possible leak from City of Austin, but couldn't find any evidence of a leak, so called Roto-Rooter. Jesus and Jose (and a couple trainees) were at the house within hours, and were able to not only chase down the leak (sprinkler system) but discovered a faulty pressure regulator that was causing super weak pressure into the house! We thought our home was just built with weak pressure or our part of the neighborhood just had weak pressure - but no! They replaced the regulator with stock on hand and did it super quickly! This morning we had a leak and always had weak pressure inside, now we are water-tight and have fantastic pressure in the house! Professional, courteous, skilled, and competent - everything I look for and refer to buddies in a service like this! Thank you Jose and Jesus!!! (And Roto-Rooter!)

Larry was friendly and professional, he was able to quickly diagnose the problem with the water heater and had spare parts ready in his vehicle. Fast, friendly and thorough. Within an hour, I had the technician, the water mitigation person and the camera person all on site to help determine the cause of the sewer clog. Logan, the technician was patient and clearly explained everything before he started, including explaining some common causes of sewer issues and why he would look for those things first. CJ, the water mitigation specialist was VERY patient in answering my millions of questions about the water damage and what needed to happen. Finally, Devin came and was able to show me the issue with the camera and explain the approximate location of the issue to help pinpoint it and provided a thorough estimate and explanation on the repair. All in, they were here within an hour and fast and efficient and done with everything we could do immediately within 2 hours.

Al Khan has made a difficult situation manageable. Not only was he the first plumber in weeks that was even able to accurately diagnose the problem, but he was able to act on it quickly. He was communicative with me and helped manage all of the crews during the entire job ranging from plumbers to excavators to contractors. If Al hadn’t been with me during this job, I would have been lost. Anyone I know that should ever have a plumbing problem I would tell them 1000% to call Al first, he saved my life during all of this!

DO NOT USE FOR A SMALL PROBLEM. They will charge $305 for any work done. Also, they missed the service window they gave me twice. I had to cancel the first time because I couldn’t wait any longer and they gave me an $80 coupon. They weren’t out until 2 hours after the 4 hour service window the second time. The work was fine. Everyone I talked with on the phone was helpful.

Extremely Unreliable! They were called yesterday to come out to our house because neither of our toilets will flush. They said they were booked up but could come out between 10-12 today. I mean that’s not ideal, but I get it and it is what it is, so we stayed at a friends house last night so we could have working plumbing. Today, we waited until 12:30 and nobody showed up so we decided to call, and they say they are backed up and will get to our house in a few hours. Waited until 4:00 and called again and they said they were still coming but it would be later. They then call back to say they were no longer coming and would reschedule for tomorrow. We have NO working toilets in our house right now and have waited all day for them to come. Now it’s 4:30 on a Sunday and we’re having to scramble to try to find someone else to come out tonight. How can you make appointments, then 4 hours after the appointment time tell the person you are just not showing up...when they have no working toilets in their house and have literally waited all day for you to come. Absolutely unprofessional and unreliable.

This is probably the WORST customer service experience I have ever had. My home warranty company put in a service call for my home with this company on Wednesday. I receive a call from a tech on Thursday saying he couldn't make it out that day but would be there Friday 9-12pm. No call no show on Friday. I call and they say that they probably can't make it out on Friday but can't tell me for sure. I tell them to reschedule for Monday. Monday comes and no call no show. I call them and they say that I'm on the schedule for after 2pm, again no call no show. I call at 6pm and they say I have been rescheduled for today which is now Tuesday 9-12. I just called to check status and I'm now being told they don't think they actually even work with my home warranty company. Are YOU KIDDING ME?! Not to mention the rudest customer service reps answering the phone. Absolutely zero help and could care less. I will never use this company and definitely spread the word. Also I asked to speak to a manager and was basically refused. What a joke this company is.

NO SHOW + BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT = GOOD BUSINESS. Contacted RotoRooter via their online service request on Saturday morning and specified that we had an urgent plumbing issue. I received an immediate email confirmation with a time window and statement that the tech would call 30 minutes before arriving.We waited all day without hearing anything else from them. 30 minutes before the time window ended, I called them and was put on hold while the rep tried to contact first the dispatcher and then the dispatcher's supervisor. She came back and told me that the dispatcher's supervisor would call be right back to get someone here. Another hour went by. Called back a second time and got a different rep (who clearly couldn't be bothered to even be remotely helpful). Cancelled the service and found another provider.

Oscar was fantastic! He arrived first thing in the morning and was very thorough in explaining the process and what was wrong. He was a hard worker and resolved the issue very fast! I would 10/10 recommend him!

Roto-Rooter actually answered our call... which our normal plumbing service did not. RR indicated they would have someone available same day within an hour or two, but actually sent my technician within about 30 minutes! Shannon arrived and had us fixed up in quick time. He was quick, professional, and courteous. RR was even offering a discount if we donate canned food to the needy. job done right!

My service man, Freddie, did a great job repairing my toilets and sinks. I originally had a 12:30-4:30 window, and Roto Rooter called to offer me an earlier time, which I really appreciated. I asked Freddie to get me a new faucet at Home Depot and had only a vague idea of what I wanted. He made a great decision. I'm so happy with it. Freddie is extremely courteous and treated me, my 2 dogs, and my home very respectfully. I would definitely recommend him to my friends!!

Roto rooter was a lifesaver when my sewer line backed up on the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. They swiftly sent Shannon my way, and he was able to diagnose and unblock my sewer drain line quickly and efficiently.Shannon was great about explaining to me the causes of my blockage, and gave me some tips about sewer drain upkeep that could help it from backing up in the future. He was great about covid-protection measures, like using a mask and watering gloves/shoe covers to limit contact points as much as possible.All in all, Roto Rooter and Shannon saved a day that started off pretty crappily, if you'll excuse the pun.

Had a surprise flooding in my house when I woke up due to the main line being clogged. Within 2 hrs of calling an employee arrived and fixed the issue. Then shortly after that two more employees arrived to help in even more detail about what my options were to prevent the issue from happening again and to deal with the current damage. Everyone was professional and easy to deal with. Will definitely use Roto-Rooter again!

Brad was quick to diagnose our water heater problem, suggested we get the replacement part for free from the manufacturer as we were under warranty, and he was also quick and diligent in installing the new parts. Highly recommend!

I have never seen such helpful details.The site conveys a trust and respect for the company and what might be expected from such a company.Finally, the online service request and confirming email response allows one to start feeling help is on the way.Now, the best part. The plumber who came to my home was Oscar. This man was courteous and receptive to my explanation of events that led to the problem. Most of all, he made sure he thoroughly understood the facilities and then reasoned where the probable cause for the problem was. Very professional and efficient. I submitted an online request to have a new shower drain installed in my half bathroom. I clearly stated in my submittal what I needed. I was given a noon to 4 pm window the next day for my service. I waited and waited and finally someone arrived at 5:30 pm. After looking at the job, I was told that Roto Rooter does not do remodels, even though I clearly stated up front what I needed. Shockingly, I was then charged $69 for this service visit. Why didn't Roto Rooter tell me up front that remodels weren't done? Why did I wait all day to have someone tell me they can't do the job, when they knew what I wanted from the onset? I will never call Roto Rooter again and I will tell all my friends and family the same. I will also post on the Circle C Residents Facebook site my horrible experience with Roto Rooter so that none of my neighbors get scammed like I did. Absolutely atrocious customer service, totally inexcusable. If I am not immediately reimbursed, I will report Roto Rooter of Austin to the Better Business Bureau.

Oscar was efficient and clear with his explanations. I also appreciate him being mindful of health safety protocols. So we had an emergency plumbing issue, and called Roto-Rooter. They sent Oscar within the hour to our house. Oscar is extremely professional and very friendly. He listened to every concern patiently and addressed the problem head on!!! He worked quickly, found the problem, fixed it, AND took the time to explain exactly what was happening and why. We ended up having to have a specialist named Chad called out for insurance purposes. Oscar and Chad are amazing and got us the help we needed to get everything fixed. I cannot thank them both enough!!!! I can’t say enough good things about them and this company. After my husband spent an entire day trying to clean out our kitchen drain with our plumbing snake, and absolutely no success at all, we called Roto Rooter. We had a toilet clog that we were unable to resolve ourselves, so we called Roto-Rooter. They came out within an hour. They resolved the problem, were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and helpful. They later sent a person with a camera to determine if there were any issues with the Plumbing. We would not hesitate to call them again.

The plumber comes out to fix a leak and we found the fauctet needed to be replaced, so they don't have any on the truck he is going to home depot to get the faucet. He comes back installs the faucet. No complaint on the installation. But then he charges me $339 for a faucet that cost $200 at home depot. A terrible rip off considering they probably even paid a conctractors lower price for it. NEVER again..they are simply a rip off.

Woke up to a kitchen sink that wouldn't drain at all, spent an entire Friday failing to get it flowing myself. Called Roto Rooter and had two techs at my door in just under an hour, Jonathan and Logan. Nice folks and they got it done fast. Quick and easy, and on a Friday at 5pm too.

My bad experience with this company. Have patience to read this for your own judgment. I called them on Sat Aug 29, 2020 for my water bills is high and wondering if there's any water leakage. I was told that they can provide an inspection service for $69.99 then if there's a job to be done, inspection fee will be waived which is understandable. Well.. today Aug 31st 2020, the technician came over and inspects: Water pressure, walk around by all Sprinkler stations, open drainer cap and check. The bill is $295. I was shock. I explained the technician about the fees what I was told. The answer: $69.99 is just to drive down to my property. $295 is to inspect. If there are more jobs to be done, it will be additional. The point is why would I call them doing nothing, just to donate $69.99. Of course, I need them to inspect first and I agree to pay additional. The company should have told me at first, $69.99 for coming and $295 for inspection. I am trying to make sense. Well I had to pay $220 at the end. I feel that I was cheated or ripped. I say this is a bad call. The reviewers.. Please make the right call.

Warren did a fantastic job when our main line from the meter to our house burst. Before he left, he made sure everything else was functioning as well. In addition he was a positive, delightful person. We will use Roto Rooter again and will recommend to friends.

Phoned Saturday evening about 5 to request an emergency visit for a leak in the water main. Rooter advertises itself as willing and able to respond to emergencies 24/7, at any hour. But when I called I was told that no one could come until the next day between 12 and 4. No one came. I phoned at 4 and was told that someone would come later, and to wait 90 minutes. A 6:30 someone phoned to say that no would come at all and that I would need to re-schedule. Roto-Rooter manipulates customers in this unprofessional, unethical way, stringing them along even when the company knows that the customer has suffered an emergency. When I opened the ticket Saturday evening, I informed the representative that another plumbing outfit could come on Sunday. But I went with Roto-Rooter instead. Quite a mistake. The company's utter disregard for customer welfare, and its false advertising of itself as willing and able to respond to emergencies, is shameful. Steer clear!

Oscar came out today and quickly fixed my main drain line. Very professional, took the time to explain and show me everything that was going on. Other plumbers have come out for the same blockage, but Oscar was the only one to find the real source of the block and get it taken care of. Top notch!

I had an emergency drain clog that was tied to the condensation drain from our AC. RotoRooter was able to schedule our service within a few hours. Our technician, Oscar, was thorough, professional and answered all of my questions. He also made some recommendations to help alleviate similar problems in the future. After presenting a quote for the repair, he was able to complete the job quickly and left everything clean and neat. We will definitely call them again!

I called Roto-Rooter because I had some pipes backing up and 2 other companies basically brushed me off. Jen, the girl plumber, showed up to check everything out for us. It didn’t take her long and she had the problem fixed. In addition to completing the job, she was courteous and professional from the moment she got out of her vehicle. The project leader, Jennifer Brown, was very helpful in explaining just what the problem was, how to best handle it and also in advising me in how to deal with my home owners insurance. She was here at the start of the job and when it was completed. The two technicians who performed the work, Jerome and Ben, were courteous, professional and took every precaution to make sure my house was not disturbed any more than necessary to get the job done. They periodically informed in where they were at and asked me to view their progress. I am very glad that I chose Roto Rooter and will do so again should I ever have a need again.

Everything about my experience was above expectations. From visiting with the scheduler, to meeting my plumber, Shannon. Shannon is a true professional with an easy demeanor that calms jittery clients like me. He stopped at NOTHING until my problem was solved. He even waited for Nathan to bring a camera in to make sure my issue was complete. Nathan also gave me some suggestions for future work. I cannot recommend this business, and especially Shannon, any higher. VERY satisfied!

We called RotoRooter after hours as our grinder pump alarm started going off about midnight on a Saturday night. Dispatch sent Jason Henderson out on Sunday morning to see what was the issue. He inspected it and determined that we needed a new pump. He showed us why the pump was bad and explained what it was supposed to be doing. He was very knowledgeable about the process and the equipment. He was very professional and friendly. He made an expensive repair more bearable with his disposition.

Jason was a wonderful tech. He thoroughly explained the issues at hand and solutions at various price points. I felt he was honest and had a true passion for his job. A rare find these days! Would recommend to anyone!

I am a facilities director at an 80 bed hospital. I had a plumbing emergency that flooded 4 bathrooms and threatened to flood rooms throughout the hospital. Patrick at Roto Rooter was a professional throughout. He worked smart and methodically, brought in use of a camera and solved our problem before it became a much larger issue. He checked and rechecked to make sure that our issue was indeed solved. They landed on site quickly, their pricing was very fair, and their technician, Patrick, was awesome.

I had a couple of relativley minor problems with the service I recieved, and complained via a review. The today I received a call from a very nice lady who offered a complete refund of the money I had spent, and also said they would discuss the work with the serviceman. I feel that this is going beyond the level that they needed to do to make me happy with them, and shows a willingness to bend over backwards to ensure customer satisfaction. I rate their customer service as Excellent! I wish that all businesses were so eager to make things right!

Jose & Jesus have fixed three different leaks at our house and they are a great team to work with! They communicate about what they are finding, next steps, and are very respectful and trustworthy. The only reason I'm giving this review 4 stars instead of 5 is that the dispatchers who arrange the services could be more professional and give better time estimates. However, the important part was that the work was done well and we had a great experience with the master plumbers. Also, a shout out to Anthony and his water restoration team- the are top notch and went the extra mile to make sure our family was protected from moisture and mold.

Laz and Brett were very professional. This was the second time we've used the company's service to clear our sewer line, both times successfully.The techs were very informative and straight forward with us. They went out of their way to give us the best information so we could decide how to proceed. We were very comfortable working with them.

The hose bib on the outside of my house sprung a leak when I pulled the garden hose. Plumber looked at it in dismay and shook his head. He said it was really bad and would cost $500. I asked how long did he think it would take and he said an hour. I said, your rate is $500. He relented and said ok, $355 is an hourly rate. Still seemed high. He said it was dependent on his ability to access the copper feed with a dremel. This turned out to be extremely easy as the builder just skim coated a few plastic shims to keep the former faucet in place. All in all, after soldering in a sleeve around the old pipe and clamping the faucet, it took him an hour (could have been much faster if he didn't put on a charade/theatrics). I wish the experience was less contentious. He made it seem like it was such a hard job...it wasn't. A fair price would be -$100. $250/hr. I won't use Roto-Rooter in the future.

Friendly tech (Rivera #1390) was awesome . Arrived when we were told. Job was quick (install new toilet). He cleaned everything up! Explained everything he needed to do. Will definitely call Roto-Rooter in the future when we need something fixed!

My 75-yr old mother (who is currently living alone) called Roto Rooter to get a cap removed that had fallen into a sink drain. She was quoted $60 estimate and was satisfied with that estimate so she asked for the drain stoppers to be replaced in both sinks in the bathroom and she was charged $706 for labor! After complaining about the price and ripping off the elderly the technician lowered the price by $75. They were in the home for about an hour. This is price gouging and taking advantage of an old woman. Upon review on the BBB there were MANY other complaints from people about similar situations with their older parents.

Muhammad and Brad were the absolute greatest! They were very honest and knowledgeable and went above and beyond. I will definitely be requesting them for any upcoming plumbing projects that occur in the future.

Chris, Jimmy and Amid came by my home and are some really nice guys! They are as professional as can be too! I had my TP Valve go out and they presented me with as many options as possible to get my hot water back in working order. They are extremely knowledgeable, Caring, Compassionate and really made a great impression on me. They had to order the part they needed and made sure that the warranty covered the cost of the part, in addition, since they knew my family was without hot water the whole day, they coordinated with me and told me that they would be there early the next morning to get this installed right away.I left the garage open for them and not even 10 min later they were there! Called Roto-Rooter yesterday afternoon to help with a broken hot water heater. Lenny came out early today and was able to fix it right away, and he made sure we got the right parts, and it was at a good price. He was great! Really great experience today.

I’m fairly handy but I had struggled for 3 days trying to unclog our kitchen drain. Spent over $100 on tools and hand augers with no success. Rotor Rooter (Noah) arrived on schedule and cleared the line within minutes. Also gave a 6-month free warranty. Great job with great friendy service!

The first thing I liked about Roto-rooter was the fact that they did not charge a service fee or estimate fee to come out and help me understand and solve my problem. When I called, I was told right away that they could come out that same day and if I didn't like the solution or the price, I would not have to pay a fee for their visit. Every plumber and plumbing service I had called before that immediately said, there was a $75 or more service fee just to come out and assess my situation. They wouldn't even tell me a possible range for cleaning a storm drain. Like, it's a minimum of $200 or it will at least start at $350 and could go up from there. So, my anxiety increased just talking to them all on the phone. As I had no idea if I could even afford to fix it and then be out $75 just to find out. So, FYI Roto-Rooter and your competitors, this is what sets you apart from your competition, up front.Next, the service man who arrived, Omid, arrived within 20 minutes of the beginning of a 2 hour window provided. He introduced himself, had a professional presence and he immediately made me feel confident he was out to help me solve my problem. We walked the property, he asked questions, explained things to me without acting like a no it all or a jargon jerk. I never felt lost, or out of touch with the process. He answered any questions I had, addressed my concerns, and helped me fix my situation within a price range that I could afford. I just wanted to send a quick thank you to Jennifer Brown for properly diagnosing and fixing our clogged drain. The first company we called tried was unsuccessful and told me that the line must be broken and they would have to tunnel under the building to the tune of THOUSANDS of dollars. The main sewer drain from our house clogged the day before Thanksgiving and we could not use any water. We called another company who said they could come later, but when evening came they said they could not make it. Had called the day of the leak and they were able to schedule me in unfortunately they were unable to make it but called me early in the technician window time frame to reschedule for the next day.Jason Henderson came out to fix the leak I had, unfortunately he discovered I had developed a bigger problem and needed my water meter replaced.He was easy going, explained everything he was doing to try to fix the issue. Had a scheduled appointment and no one showed up within the time frame they told me, can not get through to any of their dispatch. What IS GOING ON????Update: they scheduled for today and still no one showed up or called, decided to just attempt to do it ourselves since we NEED our sink to work, haven’t had an email back from the general managers either. I would give ZERO stars if I could.

We had a leak in the underground water line between the meter and the house. The repair was done fairly promptly though I did feel the $950 cost was excessive. The frustrating part was the conflicting information provided by the dispatchers. When I initially contacted RR I was told that I would not have to be present when the plumber showed up. This is a rental property about an hour away from my home and all the work would be outside the house. On the day of the service the dispatcher called to say that the plumber was on site but no one was answering the door and that someone needed to be there. I told her it would take me at least an hour to get there so the plumber was redirected to another job. When I arrived at the site I called the dispatcher and was told it would be another hour or so. The plumber had left a business card in the door so I called him directly.He said he had seen where the leak was and quoted the $950 repair cost which I paid with a credit card. He told me I would not have had to there at all. In short, I wasted 3 hours, gas and wear and tear on my vehicle and had to cancel a doctor's appointment - all totally unnecessary.

Greg showed up on time and was able to diagnose the issue quickly. Very knowledgable, professional, and courteous.

Service do bad to the point we had several thousand in damage after daily and hourly promises they were in route at least they called after the target time to say they can't make it ...it took 5 days and a explosive phone call to get a poor response and two follow upcalls because of poor communication. I was extremely pleased with Warren's service today. Best of all, I got a call from them when they were 30 minutes out and on their way. Warren showed up on time and was extremely professional. He answered all of my questions and fixed the issues we had going on.

Wow!! Where to start? I live out of state and my 85 yr old mom had an issue with a leak. Chad Jones came by and made sure my mom had everything she needed to function, knowing that he’d have to turn her water off. He went above and beyond and for a daughter who is unable to be there, he provided an invaluable service. The main drain line from the house had clogged and was backing up in the house. Of course, it was a Saturday -- just my luck. Roto-rooter was the ONLY company I could find in Austin that could come that day. Their scheduling person was easy to work with and called several times to confirm the technician's arrival. Shannon, the technician, showed up on time. He was very informative and helpful. Unfortunately he was unable to clean the drain with his auger due to significant tree root ingress in the pipe. He arranged for an excavation tech to come the next day (Sunday no less!!). I feared the worst, assuming my entire yard would need to be torn up.Jerome Bell from Roto-rooter texted me early Sunday morning and showed up right on time shortly thereafter. He quickly confirmed the problem. It was a several hour job and he ended up having to cut through several major tree roots from a large maple to remove the damaged pipe. He was thorough and professional throughout and answered all my questions. He also went out of his way to protect my nearby landscaping. When he was done, he cleaned up so nicely it was impossible to tell anything had happened.I'd use Jerome Bell and Roto-Rooter again without hesitation -- overall great experience.

I am currently sitting at home waiting for someone who was supposed to arrive at 8-10AM. It is now 2:30 PM and the company has called only once to notify me that they would be late (approximately arriving at 11:30AM). No apologies or discounts have been offered even though I have now called twice to get an update, and both times was assured that the plumber was on the way. Terrible customer service. Also I was told that there was no way to even give a ballpark price on a service before scheduling, even though I wasn't asking them to do any repairs, just a routine drain location scope. Nonsense. Now after she has finally arrived she says that this service which could take up to a WHOLE hour is going to cost 465 dollars. I sent her home. Waste of my entire day.

I loved how they helped me get this set up. I was able to interact with them via text and email, which was nice. They stuck to a quote they'd given me two years ago, which was amazing. They came out and did the work and were completely professional.Each person I talked to or worked with was a joy to work with.The only downside is that when I ended up on hold, their annoying ads drove me nuts. i'd rather have silence!

Mixed feelings: we started Saturday trying to get someone to come to the condo, but once Jesus, Jose and Greg arrived Monday afternoon the clogged sewer line was quickly opened. I can’t say enough about the trio, and they followed up by asking a technician to stop by and check for any possible leaks; there were none.

I give them zero stars! I was promised someone would be out to help me with my clogged sink. I was assured someone would be out between 6-10. At 9pm I received a call asking to reschedule. As a General Manager of a company this is poor planing. I expected a resolution. Not asking to push the appointment until tomorrow. The customer service was clearly okay with pushing it off and not having any concern for pushing off a serious issue. Will recommend that no one uses these services.

I wasn’t sure what to expect by using a corporate plumbing company vs. an independent contractor. But I was pleasantly surprised! Oscar and his helper Logan were fantastic! Not only were they punctual, but they were able to identify the problem and get the clog opened up. Super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend their services!

Called Roto-Rooter and after the dispatcher checked to make sure we did not have an immediate emergency scheduled a technician for Sunday morning. Warren was a pleasure to work with. The staff got here really quick and were able to tackle the issue right away. Malissa and the rest of the crew followed soon after to help finish off the job and make sure there were no future issues. We will be seeing Warren again soon for other home repairs.

Had another quote for work of $650 to replace a drain line and overflow, which seems astronomical (clawfoot tub). They quoted $400 for labor and it all came in about $500 bucks. The free estimate was very helpful, I hate paying someone to come and tell me they are going to gouge me later. Service was VERY fast, next day. They were very friendly and called me along the way with any updates or changes. Quite happy with this overall and will keep them in mind for the future.Updated 11/27/19 - called them back to replace a water heater - was a bit pricey but the old one was no longer up to code and 15 years old so it wasn't a simple switch-out and needed to be replaced. The Technician - Jason Henderson - was unstoppable. The dude hustles (in a good way). Got it taken care of crazy fast, and even fixed a leaky hose-bib I wasn't aware of. Sometimes these guys are cheaper, sometimes more expensive, but the service is stellar and the work is done well and quickly.

After waiting for 3 days for a service technician to show up after several reschedules, I was glad to know they couldn't solve my issue and charged me $69 for it. Thanks I guess?

Great service! Had a clog in the kitchen sink, Alexis came out within an hour and took care of the issue right away. He replaced some of the gaskets as well that were causing a leak. Would recommend to anyone.

I am only more impressed with your company every time I have to use you all. Your people are outstanding. If I remember correctly, this is the third time I've had to call on you and each time, each man is outstanding. The work is done quickly and efficiently and the price is extremely reasonable. Service Rep Omid Mandave was the nicest, neatest, most helpful and professional plumber I have ever worked with! I usually hate to call the plumber because they leave a huge mess. This man cleaned up so well it looked as though I had just done a thorough cleaning myself! As he worked he offered helpful advice on maintaining our pipes so the grease won’t build up, and the proper sink strainers to buy to prevent things from going down the drain by mistake. Plus, did I say he was nice? He was a very pleasant man. My husband and I both enjoyed visiting with him while he worked. He was thorough, careful, and did a great job. I will ask for him if I ever need plumbing services again.

Not only were they on time, They were early.My service tech Omid Mandave was not only on time, he was on the problem in no time with a great attitude. He found the issue... Spoke with me about the Problem, and FIXED IT!! When I mentioned that I had another toilet with a lesser issue he was more than happy to take a look and report his findings. Edward H has been the amazing since the first day he came out! Had a leak at the house that spread all through out the house so I called up a plumber through RR. The plumber was very good and professional as well. He referred me Ed and the water restoration team and man has he done an amazing job! They have been super fast and professional from the get go! He is always one call away and would def refer him and RR to anybody in need! Wouldn’t go with anyone else!

We have been Roto-Rooter customers for many years. We recently had a leak from our water heater in the attic at 2:30 am. By 8:30 am, their plumber Jose had shown up at our house, and by 4:30 pm the same day we had a new water heater. Jose also mobilized their water mitigation specialist and she and the team, headed by Mohammed, made it very easy to navigate the clean-up and filing a claim with our insurance company. We could not ask for better customer service from the entire group.

Horrible interaction with the plumber, as there was a payment issue and he wouldn’t begin the work until he was paid-in-full first. What should’ve taken 10 minutes took over 2 hours because he spoke with my insurance company to insist payment via credit card over the phone! He noted he wasn’t equipped with a camera so another tech would be by here but never has, as and it’s been over a week ago. He got paid for it though. Terrible interaction and unprofessional. Choose another company.

I had a clogged main drain at 6:00pm on a Thursday night. Logan came at 8:30pm and unclogged the main drain. The next morning Brian Meld came with a camera to see what had caused the clog! He found a pipe that had a hole in it!! My house is only one year old!! It appears that when they installed the fence post, they damaged the pipe. Brian sent me a copy of the video to send to the builder so they will repair it!!I am do glad that I called Roto-Rooter!! They did a great job and it seems to me they went above and beyond to help me!! Thank you Logan and Brian!!!

My service technician was professional and knowledgeable. They were prompt and arrived within less than an hour and a half after I called where others would be the next day or even longer.

I gave them one star because zero is not an option. On Jan 25th I had a water heater (located in my attic) start leaking so we called Roto Rooter. They responded and three days later I had a water heater incorrectly (more on that later) installed in my attic. The guy they sent to fix my water heater claimed to have years of experience but it still took him three days to incorrectly install a tankless water heater. A water heater is not generally considered a difficult task in the realm of plumbing issues from what I have been told. So after three days the plumber and his helper both go outside of my house and turn on the water main. The result was a catastrophic flood in my house from a connection the plumber incorrectly installed.. They had to remove the ceilings upstairs and down, and all of the carpet in my house. If I had not been in the house at the time it probably would have been worse as I was the one who discovered the flooding and notified the plumber. The manager from the Austin Roto Rooter came to my house, accepted responsibility for the negligent destruction of my house and assured me they would repair the damage in a timely manner. That evening they installed drying fans and came the next day to remove my ceilings and carpet. The house was dry after a few days and the re-construction phase was set to begin. On Feb 1st we noticed a leak coming from the recently installed water heater. We contacted Roto Rooter again and a different plumber responded. He spent the entire day Saturday fixing the original installation of the water heater. On Feb 3rd, seven full days after Roto Rooter destroyed my house, the re-construction guy said he could not begin the work on my house because Roto Rooter had not obtained signatures from their insurance company yet. It has now been two days of sitting in my house, well the 10% of my house that is habitable, waiting on them to get a signature. I have called the manager and their corporate office and still no work has begun on my house. They did manage to run my credit card for the work that was incorrectly done on my house while waiting for the signature though. They all understand they are fixing my house regardless of what their insurance company decides yet they are fine with me sitting in a destroyed house while they work through their system. I remained relatively calm through this process until the process stopped. I am not one to write reviews, but I feel this one is important to the public. Roto Rooter has shown throughout this process that customer service is not one of their primary objectives and the level of incompetence, from the plumber to the management, is really incomprehensible from a nation-wide company. I would not recommend anyone utilize this company for any sort of work.

The dispatcher did call in the morning letting me know that he was working on getting a technician to come out but then I did not hear from anyone and about 2pm I called the dispatcher and he was finally able to get someone to come out. The technician that came was Johnny - #493 and he was very nice and was able to identify where the water leak was coming from and got it fixed. It turned out that it was at the wall in the kitchen behind the refrigerator and he did not have the right part to fix it and he went to Home Depot to get the correct part. He was very thorough. I give Johnny 5 stars.

Andre and Roto-Rooter did a great job diagnosing my issue. Everything was explained perfectly, they were upfront with their recommendations, and pricing was fair. I also greatly appreciated their speed, when other plumbing services I called would take a day or two to come out, Roto-Rooter was there within three hours.

Our kitchen sink and dishwasher had standing water in them, and Roto-Rooter was able to come within a couple of hours to help clear it out. Our technician Alex (1068) was super nice and great with our dogs. Really appreciate the service!

Roto-Rooter was definitely the right choice for us. I researched and spoke to a variety of companies, and in the end, I trusted Roto-Rooter because of their long term reputation and the fact that the guarantee their work. I also like that their pricing structure is transparent, and we didn't have to deal with 'bait and switch' and onsite up-sale issues. And aside from all of that, our Service Tech, Isaac, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Not only did he do a fantastic job on our service, he also gave us a lot of education to prevent future problems. We learned of the hidden downsides to a lot of the chemical drain cleaners we thought were good products; we are now total converts to the enzyme product Isaac recommended. He also identified a repair issue we weren't aware of, and he fixed it expertly and efficiently. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and would recommend Roto-Rooter (and Isaac!) to anyone who has plumbing repair / maintenance needs.

I wish I could give these guys 0 stars. We had horrible customer service from the very beginning, I should have backed out then, but I didn't. Lesson learned.Day 1: They cancel our appointment.Day 2: They show up, try to fix our plumbing. The technician isn't confident that it's fixed, but tells us that if the problem returns to call them back. The problem came back an hour after the tech left.Day 3: We make another appointment. The technician shows up at 8:30pm, 30 minutes after he was supposed to. Tells us it's too late in the day to perform the service we need, and that we will need to make another appointment. We try to, the dispatcher ensuring us we will hear back with an appointment time within an hour. Three hours pass. I try and reach out multiple times to find out whether or not the service can/will be happening the next day. We can't get an answer.So we fire them. The only saving grace was how quickly I got my refund. The manager I spoke to listened to the nightmare we lived through without plumbing for four days, and immediately issued my refund. We ended up hiring Allstate Plumbing and had our plumbing fixed same day.Don't give your time or money to Roto Rooter. Seriously.

Such a great help during a time when we really needed it! Two rooms had flooding, a top floor room and the room below it. They worked with our insurance and were very helpful and pleasant. Would recommend and also continue to use again when needed.

Really excellent service - They got to our house quickly to provide a quote for a PRV replacement and were at our house within a half hour once service was requested. Wow! What a great job! We had the main sewer line for our house replaced. They were very quick and efficient and caused very minimal disturbance while I was working from home. The workers were very friendly / informative and went above and beyond my expectations. I would definitely use them again for any plumbing needs.

We had a very slow drain in our bath and decided to fix the issue ourselves, but our solution didn't work. The tool that we used got stuck in our drain and we couldn't remove it so it was stuck. Boo!We needed some professional assistance and we are very grateful that Roto-Rooter sent Andre Sr. to help us! He was patient and understanding and said this was a common issue that happens. He provided us with an estimate and explained to us the cost and even drew a rough sketch of how the pipes were connected and where the tool might be stuck. This explanation/estimate took about 10 minutes and it was time for us to make a decision whether to have Andre Sr. proceed with the fix or not. At that point my husband and I tried again to remove the tool from the drain and luckily it came out! It was a happy ending for us and saved us money!With that said, Andre Sr. provided us a clear explanation/estimate and had a great attitude! Have dealt with Roto-Rooter several times in the past. As with all large companies, it can be hit or miss on which plumber you get. But more times than not, I've been pleased with the knowledge and courtesy of my plumber. I've dealt with Pablo a couple of times and he's been great. Today he diagnosed a difficult problem and went above and beyond in fixing the issue. He worked quickly but was patient with my questions and even did a couple of extra things to help avoid problems in the future. He's definitely worthy of five starts. (Another plumber named Oscar has also been extremely helpful in the past).

Fantastic - within a couple hours of calling for garbage disposal replacement, the technicians arrived; work had been completed and the garbage disposal replaced/ installed.

I had a sewage backup on Tuesday morning that I requested a technician to clear the line. They arrived earlier that the original commitment time.The problem was difficult and a second technician Oscar Lenny was dispatched. A camera detected a broken line. I received an estimate and agreed to the repair which took place the next day. The repairs were completed to my total satisfaction and in a timely manner. The salesman was only interested in billing my insurance company as much as he could for mitigation and Roto-Rooter didn't even offer restoration repair services or a plumber and I only actually called them for a plumber.

My 80 year old mother called me this past thursday night in a panic saying that water was leaking into the laundey room. Called roto-rooter that night and they sent out Adam and Larry. Both were super professional at my moms house and were able to explain what they thought was happening and what we should do to fix it. We scheduled repairs for the next day along with water restoration in case we had mold.The next morning Chris came out to repair the leak. After diagnosing it, he discovered that it was not a faulty pipe. Instead, it was caused by a plugged laundry vent. Here the professionalism really shown; instead of just letting us google and figure out how to fix it, Chris took the time to explain what was going on and what he recommended to fix it. Needless to say we followed his advice and got the problem taken care of!Later Mohammad from water restoration showed up; after looking at the wet spot he determined that there wasnt a need for it and wasnt going to charge us. This was very unexpected for me as I had signed a contract the night prior for it and was prepared to follow through even if it wasnt needed! Truly apperciste his honesty in not charging us for work that was not needed.We decided that since Chris was there we would go ahead and have my moms 20 year old water heater replaced and a PRV installed. Both were done exceptionally well and Chris even went above and beyond by putting a new frame and door up for the new water heater!Truly a great experience with the Roto-Rooter team, highly recommend them. Really apperciate how they also took the time to explain things to my mom and made it their goal to ensure she was taken care of. Cant say enough great things about the company. The staff repaired a busted water line at my mother's home at the last minute. The staff worked non stop to repair the messy leak, even working late that night until the work was completed. They charged a very fair price for the work done which comes with a 3 year warranty. I strongly recommend Roto Rotor austin!!!

Added residential shutoff valve at the meter and relocated an indoor water valve. They were able to make an appointment for the next day after I called. Jose and Jesus were very professional and diligent; they were in and out in 2.5 hours.

The gas control valve on my water heater went out and a technician came out and replaced the next day before noon. He was able to find that the part was still under warranty which saved me some money. I appreciated the ability of Roto-Rooter to resolve my problem quickly and effectively.

Alexis (#1068) was very helpful and was able to clear our very clogged main line quickly so that we could use our water again. When he was done he talked me through what he did and we discussed possible causes to the problem so we can prevent future issues. I would call them again in an emergency but hopefully we won’t need to for a long, long time.

Tech was vert personable and efficient, did a great job of cleaning up afterwards.

We had a dripping shower problem. The technician was thorough in his diagnosis and gave me a quote. After he started on the work it turned out that the diagnosis was premature. He revised the quote and gave me an estimate and was OK with me sleeping on it. He also waived the diagnosis fee since he had mis-diagnosed it. We called him a few weeks later and he fixed the leaky shower-head. He also gave us estimates on what the parts would cost and gave us the option to get our own or use the vendor provided.

I was glad Roto Rooter had the plumbing service and water restoration in one company. They both came out the day my water heater went out causing water in 4 rooms of my house. This is the first time I had ever had this sort if emergency. They were all very nice and helpful, which helped my stress level go down.They are also dealing with insurance on my behalf for the water damage clean up. I would recommend them. The only thing is they were about an hour later each time they said they were coming, but that may be from going over schedule on a previous job and not necessarily bad business.

Fantastic service! Chris and Larry came out to do work at the apartment of the Storage facility that I manage. They were professional and gave great information though the whole process. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help and wants to fully understand what's going on.

I made an appointment on a Wed night at 6pm for the next day. The whole process was quick and easy and the entire phone call was just 6 minutes.Turns out it was a little too easy... my appointment window of 8am-12 on Thursday came and went. When I called back to make sure I was on the schedule they said they didn't even have me in there, so I wasted all morning waiting.I went with another company.

They came in to look into a blocked toilet, took out the plastic piece from it with a hand cranked tool, told me the total cost is $250 for it, and left a plastic container of some chemicals. Later after they left, looking through the invoice I found that they have charged over $50 for the chemical. I called them and ask them to take that away since I didn't want to purchase it, I am still waiting for them to come and pick it up. Deception in their sales tactics. High price for service. No more.After I wrote it, Bill Daniel from Roto Rooter addressed my grievance and refunded the money within hours! Such a great company. Bill I have the liquid ready for pick up if your truck comes around this area! Thank you! Thank you! !Thank you!!!

Had a great experience with our plumber, Jason Henderson (747)! He was efficient, really friendly, and very relatable. Usually I'm worried that having services done can be awkward, but we ended up having a really fun conversation with him the entire time! I wish all plumbers were as friendly!

Exceptional service from Isaac at Roto-Rooter. He came onsite, did a great job, cleaned up and provided sound advice going forward. He actually saved us money too by showing how other harmful store bought products can actually do more harm than good to our pipes. I highly recommend them!!

A week after we bought our new home the main line outside broke and caused an overflow of sewage in both bathrooms. Mario came that night to get the water working again and Nick took care of the water mitigation that same night, answered all our questions, and cleaned up for us. The next day Mohammed came with his team to remove all the contaminated flooring and sheetrock and they worked all night without a complaint and were incredibly helpful and answered all of our questions not to mention he took tons of photographs for the insurance adjuster and offered to speak with him for us. Finally Jennifer and her excavation team came and fixed the outside pipe. She was even nice enough to call our home warranty company and break down for them what portion of the work took place underneath the house. We could not be happier with rotorooter! Instead of having to call three different companies to take care of this very unfortunate incident we only had to call one. Every person that we dealt with was super helpful and patient with us because this is our first home and we had no idea how any of it was supposed to work. I would absolutely recommend roto rooter in Austin. I know that if we have another problem, they will be our first call.

Made appointment for estimate. Once tech arrived he looked under sink for 10 to 15 seconds and quoted me an outrageous amount for an under sink water heater install (I provided the heater) tech did no inspection of anything. He also did not adequately explain what would work would have been done so I would understand why the crazy price. I think he just wanted to not do the job and go to his next job. That's ok... Radiant Plumbing got the job done... at half the price and actually did a complete inspection... and sat down and gave me options ...explained everything. Will NOT call Roto-Rooter again

Our kitchen sink was clogged so much that standing water had accumulated and spilled out onto the kitchen floor. I quickly called Roto-Rooter and they sent a plumber out pretty much 15 minutes from when I called. Oscar fixed the problem quickly and was very nice and professional. Will definitely be using them again for any plumbing issues we have in the future!

Roto-RooterAWESOME!This is my first review for Roto-Rooter, but second experience with the Root-Rooter team.Both circumstances were emergencies.#1 -Thanksgiving Holiday (2018) : Sewage back up in downstairs shower. Main sewage line snapped at city junction. Roto-Rooter team diagnosed the problem, showed me the picture with the scope, and had a crew out here with excavating equipment asap. Had an interim solution immediately to safely restore service, back in regular service after 2 days, and Roto-Rooter performed a follow-up diagnostic to ensure that everything was working properly.#2 - 10/22/19: Had an upstairs toilet leak with water running through my downstairs utility room. Called Roto-Rooter emergency line in the evening. Damage Assessor arrived that night, walked me through the process, and then called the remediation team. Muhammad (Remediation team) came in at 11pm, cut out the sheet rock, removed the wet insulation, and placed plastic over the impacted area with a plastic zipper doorway for in/out convenience. Dryers were placed to dry out the subfloor. Everything was extremely neat, safe, and sanitary.10/25/19: Chris (Plumber) arrived with his team and this is were the experience went from professional to exceptional. Chris was able to quickly determine the cause of the leak which was due to poor original craftsmanship by the builder. Chris (#667) and his team were able to create a safe and up to code solution to prevent future issues since the original placement of the toilet by the builder was sub par. Chris also educated me on the issues that caused the leak so I could articulately communicate them to the builder warranty department. The work Chris did was professional, neat, and I am extremely satisfied with the result. Chris rebuilt my plumbing set up within the toilet, sealed the toilet base, and even went to Home Depot to secure a special flange that I needed due to the offset position of the drain pipe. Chris also returned the next day to complete the work (on a Saturday I might add) and gave me his personal cell phone in case there were any issues before my drywall contractor arrived. Readings gave us peace of mind that we had dried out damaged areas. We appreciated his professional manner and knowledge.

First - Don’t try plumbing at home if you aren’t a plumber.Second - If you do and are as bad at it as me, call Roto-Rooter. Adam came within 45 minutes of calling and Chris (the master plumber) was not far behind. They both were incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful. We have a pipe system under our kitchen sink that has a lot of bends and curves in it, so grease and other debris gets easily trapped in the U-Bend. We had a doozy of a clog that nothing was working on. I needed Roto-Rooter to come out today, since it was a pretty serious situation. It was so easy to go to their website and schedule someone to come out. I selected the earliest window they had, which was 12-4. Mario arrived before Noon, gave us our price and got right to work. From the very beginning he was very respectful of us and our house asking if it was ok to just go in and out as he needed too. He did a wonderful job, and now we will have a clog free drain that is covered for at least 6 motnhs. We are now getting a drain trap so we further protect it as well as using RR's enzymatic drain maintenance solution. Thanks Roto-Rooter!

Outstanding. A problem arose, first it wasn’t an emergency, then I was getting worried and instinct told me to call a professional. Knowing Roto-Rooter from another city, I called one here at 4 ... by then gasses we’re building, a toilet started leaking, I was getting worried. Noah, from Roto-Rooter, was here within the hour and actually jogged from his truck, grabbed gear, headed upstairs as I filled him in on all that was happening. He assessed the problem, went straight to a solution, and stopped any further damage. Along the way he was explaining possible causes, how second story plumbing works, and told me how to prevent future issues with monthly preventative maintenance. These new houses are nice but builders cut corners and sure enough a second toilet — not the one that started it all — was the one that sprung a leak because it was poorly installed. Anyway, if you have a plumbing need call these guys and even ask for Noah. He’s a savior.

We hired Roto-Rooter to help us with our plumbing needs, for a condo remodel. We had a litany of difficult situations, such as unusual high end fixtures and uncommon remodel situations. I should have read the reviews beforehand but I learned the hard way how frustrating RR is to work with. This started Wednesday afternoon when i had a pretty good water leak and the RR dispatcher said it qualified for expedited service. I wish i had known that expedited service meant i’d Hear from someone Friday night, shortly before midnight, 2.5 days later. For the 2.5 days before that, i called RR dispatch several times and they promised someone would arrive at various time periods and/or call, and i never heard a peep. Once I finally spoke with a plumber, we discussed the project, i shared some pictures, etc. and we agreed on a fixed price for a very specific job to be done (note their hourly rate of $225/hr, about 2.5x the going rate, as i called other companies, they just couldn’t come out quickly enough). A plumber finally started working Saturday mid morning and after 3 hours had to leave, fortunately he left the job site in a way that let me turn the water back on to the house. A little over a week later he returned to finish the job, over the course of 2-3 more hours, but even after the total 6 hours of work, he did not complete the work as we had discussed, and he actually left my plumbing in a state that he previously described as very poor workmanship, something he’d never do because it won’t hold up, but by then i was tired of arguing and just paid the bill. Very frustrating experience for an extremely simple leak fix, or at least it should have been. Be warned!

Andre Sr #4305 helped me install a new kitchen faucet. He was amazing at being detailed, on time, and gave me discounts wherever he could. I would call him again in a heartbeat. We even had to order a new faucet, he gave me his discount, picked up the faucet for me, and delivered and installed the next day. So helpful!

Jennifer was amazing when I had to call Roto Rooter! She explained everything and showed me the horrid video of the jungle that was growing in my pipe! She was honest and forthcoming and I felt like I was in good hands. They did a great job! I'd call her again in a heartbeat!

Oscar went above and beyond to take care of us today! Not only did he do a great job installing our new toilet, he also went to .Home Depot with me to help pick one out and carry it for me. Those things are heavy and I never could have managed it on my own! Over all, Oscar is the best and I will for sure be calling him again if we need any plumbing work done.

We had an issue on a Sunday. When I called, we received very fast service. A plumber was at our house in about half an hour. Tree roots in the line seem to be the cause of the issue and the work was done adequately. The plumber was very nice and patient. My only complaint, and it's actually a pretty big one, is how horribly disgusting my bathroom was when he left. I see absolutely no reason that I should have had to scrub the ceiling in my bathroom after a clogged toilet was fixed. I'm dumbfounded how that was even possible. I'm glad I had an entrance to our house close to the bathroom, because the plumber tracked whatever was on the floor in the bathroom back and forth between the bathroom and the door with no care.

Alex took care of the problem. He was knowledgeable and courteous.

Had the worst experience trying to get them to take a look at our plumbing. My husband called on a Monday, was hung up on twice, and finally made an appointment his third call. It was set for the following Wednesday between 5pm and 9pm. The plumber called us around 6pm to say he was getting information from dispatch, but never showed up or called. My husband called their office back on Thursday to ask what happened and the representative said he'd look into it and call back. We still haven't heard from them. We were never rude to any of their employees and tried to explain the situation we were having as best we could. Not sure what happened, but if you want to save yourself a headache try finding a different company to use.

I had a leaking faucet that was not an emergency but definitely had to be fixed soon. I called six different plumbers and finally Roto Rooter said they could be out in the morning. Cool. No show. Then they called and said it would be at the end of the day. He replaced the cylinder which took all of 30 minutes. $608.00 for 30 min worth of work. I need to be a plumber. Then I went to take a shower and cold water is to one side, hot is to the other side and you have to balance the center to shut it off, no temperature adjustment, either hot or cold. This is a single round knob, not two handles. Called them, same guy came out the next day, took it apart and superglued the brand new piece he just put in. Said it should hold for a while. What did I pay $608 for??

Coming into a situation that could have been way more stressful, they explained things with confidence and put us at ease about the happenings over the next few days. They asked questions and moved things about as needed taking into consideration the value of certain items that required extra care.I would highly recommend their team!

Roto-Rooter Austin is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! This is my first time to use them and I was so blown away by the OUTSTANDING service that they provided that I will be using them exclusively from now on! This is what happened to me: I went to take a shower and found raw sewage filling my bathtubs and toilets. I immediately called a local plumber (which I will not name). Not only could he not clear the blockage in the sewer line, he did not have a camera to look into the pipe. I then called Roto-Rooter Austin and Victor P. responded very quickly. He cleared the blockage within minutes of arriving. He then showed me on camera that the blockage was being caused by a huge root that had grown into the pipe and had also broken the pipe. The root was after a sharp bend in the pipe and because of the angle was not reachable enough to eradicate it completely. We discussed options and decided that the best was to dig down to the pipe and remove the root and rebuild the pipe that was broken. Victor set up the repair. The crew that responded was Jerome and Ben. This job would be incredibly difficult due to the fact that the damaged pipe ran directly under a large live oak tree, and was about 4'-5' under the tree. Roots from the tree, the tree itself, water lines, and my sprinkler system gave them a very small area to work. At this point, I doubted that any crew would be able to not only get to the pipe but not destroy everything around it trying to get to it. They proved me wrong! Jerome and Ben worked with surgical precision and were able to get to and repair the pipe in the smallest of areas to work, and with no damage to any of the surrounding pipes. I still, as I am writing this review, can't believe that they were able to do this. Jerome did the repairs and Ben worked the backhoe. They were amazing together! At this point, I owe a debt of gratitude to the amazing job that Victor, Jerome, and Ben did for me. They set the bar to the highest level. I can't say enough about these 3 men and their professionalism, knowledge, experience, mastery skills, and empathy that they provided to me!

Tech 1506 (Dave) was the best. He had a difficult job replacing the cutoff valves below my bathroom sink and did very well. He also had to replace an old faucet that was very corroded and difficult to remove. He did that very well also. He also wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the work and cleanup. Could not have been more satisfied

Muhammad was very knowledgeable and professional and taught me a lot. He identified some legitimate problem areas and communicated the whole way. I was very impressed with him! Ask for him by name!

Jennifer Brown took responsibility for the repairs needed to the drain line of our commercial building. She ran a camera down the lines and sent the video of what the camera saw to us via email. She explained where the problems were and what needed to be done about them. She consulted with the men who would do the work and gave us a bid, both for work under the slab of our building and under the parking lot. She wrote up bids giving us several options. She was there when the work was done - which took 2 men 7 hours on a Saturday (so as not to inconvenience our tenants). Other plumbers gave higher bids and most would not work on a weekend. Jennifer usually answered our phone calls right away, and responded to our emails promptly.

Shannon came out, knew right where to look and took care of our problem in no time. He was very professional and considerate. If we need a plumber again I’m definitely going with them.

2/26/2021: Jose and Jesus were fantastic! Got straight to work on the broken pipe, tested pressure throughout the house, ensured all faucets worked, and ensured we were satisfied before leaving. So grateful!

Oscar with Roto Rooter is like getting to hire your neighbor who is a pro plumber. He’s incredibly professional but so kind at the same time. I’ve used Roto Rooter on a few occasions and they’ve rescued me from a Thanksgiving and a Christmas disaster due to water backups. They are my go to for regular plumbing and emergency plumbing services.

We had a plumbing emergency on Sunday afternoon, and Roto-Rooter Plumbing was able to get here in under an hour and save the day! Jason was great, and fixed the problem in no time, and gave lots of great advice! Highly recommended!

Roto Rooter was able to setup a time for a plumber to come by within 24 hours. He came on a Sunday morning to find an repair a broken pipe that was the main feeder for our house. Freddy worked constantly for 4 hours digging to find and repair the pipe. He did an excellent job and explained to us what he was doing whenever we asked. My grandparents don't speak english too well and he was very patient with them even as we worked with our insurance company to see if they would cover the cost, he waited to pick up his payment until we were able to write him the check. I couldn't be happier with the service and we will be sure to call Roto-Rooter in the future.P.S. We called three other plumbers both independent and commercial and no one showed up for the work for two of the plumbers we called and another couldn't fix the issue altogether.

Justin Weeks was very helpful in getting our hot water heater repaired. He went the extra mile in calling State (the company that made water heater) and I was out of warranty by build date by 5 days, but he argued that it was put in service a few weeks later and that parts should be covered. They ended up providing the parts under warranty after he fought for them to cover them. We had another company come out prior and they just assumed it was out of warranty, and tried to charge $400 for the parts. In the end working with roto rooter saved us money and it was all because of Justin doing the right thing.

That was hands down the most fantastic service call I have ever had - especially considering how stressful kitchen plumbing problems are. Omid was knowledgable, positive and persistent solving my problem. He used critical thinking skills when he ran into a problem he was unfamiliar with and persisted with such a pleasant attitude. Such a pleasure even though it was an unexpected expense.

Lenny Rivera took great care of me and my family. Our water main sprung a leak and we were without water! Lenny’s expertise led to a quick repair and even pointed out that our pipes were involved in a class action lawsuit against the manufacturer that we could still get in on. The Roto-rooters provided me the worst experience of any service company I had till date. Their so called professional plumber did not provide me any estimate before the job started (nor got our sign for approval), took 11 hours to install the heater, left 5-7 times in the job in the name of 'going to get some parts'. The invoice for installing a residential water heater was $4864.64.It was a ridiculous bill that I disputed. Worst experience of my life with any service company. I would not recommend them to anybody.

There was an issue with my water heater, and was charged for a maintenance 3 months after install. General Manager followed up the next day to resolve the charge. I appreciate your understanding - thank you.

Gavino was very helpful, polite, and did a great job helping us with our bathroom flooding. Set up an online appointment for the Round Rock location, and 2 hours later Gavino was there to help! Only minor thing that bugged me is the fact the camera guys didn't pay attention to the after 4 pm follow up. Multiple times I told them I wouldn't be able to take off another day to deal with this, so if they could come after 4 it would be best. They showed up at my house at 2pm, while I was still at work, now the room mate who wasn't there yesterday, has no idea what to tell them. Quick phone call seems to have fixed that though. Still recommend them, thanks to Gavino! :)

had water heater leaking problem, went to Lowe's first and paid in front $35 for a detail and was promised that a technician would show up in 2 business days. never seen him. google searched and Roto-Rooter came up on top and the ratings are great. called and was promised someone would call back. the call came in in minutes. Gavino came on time as scheduled the next morning and fixed the problem right away, very professional & pleasant. Roto-Rooter will be our future plumbing company and will definitely recommend it to our friends.

My drainage / sewer line out to the root was blocked by a tree root. I called Roto Rooter after another company in town failed to show up when they said they were going to. Roto Rooter showed up less than an hour into the window they gave me. Oscar and his assistant went right to work in the rain and cold, found the clog, fixed it, then showed me where the root had entered the pipe. All done in less than an hour, and everything exactly as it had been before they started. Excellent work.

I had Roto-Rooter come out to fix a sink. They told me it wouldn’t unclog and I’d have to break bricks in my house to make an exit so they could fix it. Told me it would cost $1800. Then they upped it to $2500 for no reason. Then they were unreachable and unprofessional. I had another plumber come fix my sink today. Done in 30 minutes. And cost $2000 less than Roto-Rooter was gonna charge. No breaking bricks or anything and they fixed a part of my sink that Roto-Rooter broke. Do not ever use this company!!!

Called at 12:30 PM. Made appointment. Job was done at 4:00 PM. Technician was technically proficient and very customer oriented. Very pleasant experience. I will recommend Roto-Rooter to friends, relatives and neighbors.

Oscar came onsite on time, did an amazing job resolving the clog, and explained how to prevent issues in the future (even though the root cause was a previous contractor’s negligence with disposing of construction debris in the sewer line during demo).

Alexis 1068 was professional and very timely. He came in assessed the issue and cleared the pipes right up. He showed me what was going on every step of the way. He didn’t leave until the water flowed through the pipes in interrupted.

Don't know what to say other than they didn't show up. I knew it was a weekend, but they said it was no problem and they work 24/7. Called on a Saturday and they said they would be out between 4 and 6PM. They called me at 5:30 and said they wouldn't be out but could make it out the next morning between 10AM and Noon. I called at 11AM the next morning and they said I was scheduled for Monday morning. Said they would try to get out sometime after 4PM that day.I called another plumber, they were out within the hour.I know it's busy, but don't leave a customer hanging on when you know you can't make it. We ended up having to go to a hotel the first night after they were a no show.

We had a serious water leak and they responded quickly. The damage was far worse than we expected but they were helpful the entire process. The first experience started really shaken with Roto Rooter. The first two technicians were not qualified and lacked experience in how to properly access the situation. Not to mention they damaged two pipes under my house.However, things turned around when Jason T Henderson showed up. You could tell he was head and shoulders ahead with his knowledge. Being in construction myself, Jason did not try to pull any bull and took the repair by the horns. He did a thorough job. Roto Rooter is lucky to have Jason on staff because his knowledge and experience definitely saved Roto Rooter a nice backcharge from myself. Jason worked with me to get the bill correct as all of the damage was done by the inexperience of the first two technicians.Ask for Jason T Henderson if you want the job done correctly. Andre Sr #4305 was our plumber and after meeting with him and having him fix out plumbing issue I will never use another service other than Roto Rooter and I will specifically be asking for him. Rotorooter was my second call as I was not pleased with the first opinion. Andre was spot on with his diagnosis of the issue, the explanation of all possible solutions and keeping me informed every step of the way. We even discussed additional work I have been wanting to have done and I won't be calling anyone other than Andre / Rotorooter to come back out to take care of those issues. I called Roto Rooters and I was told that if they could not fix it they would not charged me by Chris Evans and Technician Pablo. I had a leak under my toilet and water everywhere. He told me the problem was main sewer was stuffed up, he said the would run the line and fix the issue. They charged me over $300 and they told me they would guarantee their work. About an hour after they left I still had the exact same problem. I called a 2nd time and they came out, they said they were not sure about the issue and they needed a camera technician to come out but they were so busy. He spoke to his manager Dell and they told me that they would send a camera technician to my house within an hour, that was 3 hours ago and still I have they problem and they have my money. I tried to call and spoke to Jean in dispatch who was rude to my sister and I. I tried to speak to a manager and still no one has called me back. This is family time, I paid a lot of money and I keep getting the run around. I asked for my money back so that I could call someone responsible and they still won't help me or return my call. I have been putting my holiday family time on hold all day for this company. This is the worst customer experience ever. I would appreciate a call back... If you tell someone if we don't fix it we don't charge you and you take their money and refuse to help them that is awful service. The worst customer experience !!

Showed up within the promised time and was able to unclog our kitchen sink in less than 45mins. He even replaced some parts to prevent leaking since there were some old rusted metal pieces. I was very happy to hear there was a 6 month guarantee. Will definitely use again. So glad I didn't try to buy a hand tool. The clog ended up being 20+ft in!

We had a problem with the pilot light on our gas water heater quit working. Lenny came out, identified the problem and offered to verify that our water heater was still under warranty, thus the parts to fix the problem would be free of charge. Sure enough our water heater was still under warranty, and Lenny drove to the parts store and picked up the parts and had the installation completed in no time. He was very professional with a great personality. We will recommend his work any time.

I finally called Roto-Rooter Austin after dealing with another horrible plumbing company here in Austin. They were able to not only resolve my issue promptly but also went the extra mile in ensuring that we also check other areas and suggest areas for improvement. I highly recommend! Main sewer line clog between commode and clean-out successfully cleared, but FIVE DAYS later a new clog developed between the clean-out and the street.Had to call another plumber to fix second clog. Instead of taking 2-3 hours to honor their service warranty, the earliest they could arrive was between 10pm and 2am.Wonder how long it would have taken to honor their warranty if this wasn't considered an emergency due to my ADA family member.

Chris was honest, knowledgeable and actually cared to take the extra step in assisting me to locate the leak. I appreciate his down to earth and relatable demeanor. This was an exterior leak that needed to be fixed as soon as possible and given the time constraints, I was relieved he stayed until 6:30 p.m. to fix the issue.

I was pleased with the prompt service but the sink leak worsened after replacing parts. I have to have them return. If they send someone this time that knows what needs to be done, I will update my review. Right now, not happy. Update - Come to find out it was the faucet so they pretty much charged me $300 for 2 lines that came with the new faucet. Huge rip off! Do not use them!

They have been contacted several times by our apartment complex and always miss the time they say they'll be there and keep pushing the time back then they never show up. Not impressed with there lack of service and disappointed in there lack of communication. Would not recommend them at all. This has occurred 3 times with both myself and my neighbors. They are not someone I would ever recommend to do any sort of service ever. I would actually rather leave a 0 star rating for zero communication and zero effort in anyway shape or form.

Fantastic - we got surprised by a backed up drain line this morning. RR come out right away, called in reinforcements as needed, and kept at the problem until everything was fixed. They were very polite, efficient and knew exactly what to do for our problems. I will use them every time.

The technician arrived promptly and was very polite. They were able to fix a clog in my kitchen sink drain, that had resisted plunging, my own attempts at snaking, and Liquid Plumr. Really pleased with the service, and relieved to be able to do dishes in kitchen again.

These guys were fast and knew what they were doing. As soon as they realized they didn't have the equipment with them to deal with our issue, they ran out to get it, and were back in less than an hour. The repairs themselves took less than 15 minutes and everything was up and running again. On the Friday before the Memorial Day weekend they knocked it out of the park. Sometimes you need a professional to solve a problem. These guys are pros. I'll definitely use them again.

First and last time I ever call Roto-Rooter. Yesterday I set an appt for today 7/9/2016. I was given a window of 12-4. It is now 8:55 pm and no-one is here. I called and they said they are still on their way. I told them no thanks! I have a 2 year old i need to put to bed and a 8 am flight to catch. I'm so glad my issue was not serious. This actually turned out to be a great lesson; simply put, never call them again. I told the dispatch representative, to cancel my request and that i want nothing to do with Roto-Rooter. He didn't seem concerned at all. He didn't offer to let me speak to a manager or simply ask what he could do to make things right. Sorry, but I've learned from the past, that when companies no-show, no call or have to reschedule the quality of work is usually bad as well.

Once I decided my sink’s clog was too much for me to handle went online and scheduled an appointment with Roto-Rooter. Shannon showed up the next morning and had everything back to normal in about 30 minutes . Great work.??

I called they cam within an hour. The technician was excellent (Omid Mandave), he stayed with it even when it wasn't working like he thought it should. He finally got it to break loose and my kitchen is back on line. Great job.

I live at Westminster Manor and when my garbage disposal backed up and WM could not repair it, Roto-Rooter was called. Omid Mandave came to my apt and worked diligently to fix the problem. He was so professional, polite, careful of my surroundings (I have some valuable carpets that had been water damaged by Westminster repair men) and after a lot of work solved the problem. He was courteous, hardworking and I was impressed by his work ethic and professionalism. If ever indeed the service again i will certainly ask that this particular employee. Thank you

I had 17 guests showing up on a wednesday evening for the weekend... and broke not only the toilet but the actual flange about 2 hours before. While they couldn't make it out that evening, they had a tech out at 8 am the next morning, quoted me for the work, and had my issue solved by 10:30 AM. I paid a tad bit more than I would have if I had shopped around, and been able to wait for 2 weeks... but I was more than happy to pay to have it done quickly and efficiently. Thanks!

We had plumber # 2707 (Jesus) and master plumber #790 (Jose) come to install a new toilet. The job was completed in a timely matter and clean-up was neatly done. Both men were extremely courteous and professional. They explained all our options on work that needed to be done in the near future, but did not make us feel pressured in any way. This Austin branch of Roto-Rooter gets a plumber to your house quickly with no run-around on the phone.

I called for service and y'all told me you'd have someone out to see us the next day...nobody ever showed up or called. I call the next day and y'all again said someone would be out there that day to see us. Again, no call/no show. Y'all did this for 10 days in a row and everytime I called you assured me someone would be out there later that day. I totally get that y'all are busy after that insane deep freeze we had but don't sit there and lie to me day after day after day. It's pathetic and embarrassing. I'd give zero stars if I could.

Recently I had a 1/4 gallon per minute leak on my property that was clearly leaking into the ground as part of the front yard was saturated. I called RR and they were able to come out the next day. I was afraid it was going to be under the slab, but they used their leak detection equipment to find it just outside the slab in the yard. They showed me where the pipe had broken down (60 year old house) and were able to replace it quickly. The two plumbers, Jose and Jesus, were very professional and courteous during their work.I think RR is a little more expensive than some local companies, and I think they could do better with their communication when they are going to be running late to a job, but in the end they have done excellent work the two times that I used them. After having some issues with other plumbers, I think it's worth the extra money as plumbing issues are not to be trifled with.

Omid was very professional and extremely friendly! He was a quick worker left our space clean when he left. He also gave us tips on how to prevent our issues in the future!

Jose, Glenn, and Wayne are 3 of the BEST plumbers in Austin!! We have had tons of problems with our sump pump system (and live 1/2 mile from downtown). We switched out from a grinder pump to a water pump and so far so good... no crazy alarms in the middle of the night, and no flooding front yard. Thank you, Ken, also for the excellent customer service in scheduling so many master plumbers to run to our rescue and get the job done right the first time. Glenn was amazing to take the time to do all the things to ensure longevity of this new pump. We thank you all so much!

Roto Rooter departed Saturday leaving a dehumidifier in my attic. The next day I had no hot water, air conditioner attic units had stopped working, the attic light was inoperative and the outlets in both my bathroons were dead. Unfortunately, there is one outlet in the garage on the same circuit as the bathrooms. My second fridge is on that circuit.On Sunday Roto-Rooter's serviceman discovered the lack of hot water was due to the dehumidifier blowing out the pilot light. Rotor-Rooter wanted to charge me $260 to re-light the pilot.I have another company's electrician coming out Friday to trace the problem with the dead outlets. Today the fridge is running on an extension cord to another outlet. The air conditioning started working again on Monday immediately when Roto-Rooter unplugged the attic dehumidifier. I had to throw out ice cream and some food from the fridge.When I spoke with the Austin general manager he wanted to convince me that my gripe that I did not get value for the $200 an hour labor rate was unfounded. I understand that plumbers charge twice that of certified doctors and lawyers and this is how a free market works. However, in a free market I can also be dissatisfied with a product or service and say so to the market. Cannot have it both ways i.e. appeal to the free market regarding pricing but disavow a free market's practice of criticizing bad or praising good service.Jason also had a gripe with my previous on-line evalution where I claimed plumbers were apprentices. This is what Andrew, a company representtive, communicated to me. Not my problem that Roto-Rooter project managers are not aware of their employee's skill levels. The service I encountered was amateur and worthy of an apprentice and not a licenced journeyman.Jason started to bully me to change my previous on-line assessment. Call ended acrimoniously. This posting is a revised assessment.I paid $264 to change a flex pipe. I was left with no hot water (wife cold showered before going to church),  cancelled my Sunday lunch at Red Lobster with friends celebrating a birthday to accomodate Roto-Rooter's scheduling to fix a problem Roto-Rooter had caused, left with no air conditioning, inoperative bathroom outlets and a defrosted fridge. Now having to spend approximately $300 to have an electrician diagnose electrical outlet problem.Andrew, the project manager, was going to call me at 9:00 am on Monday to update me regarding resolving the electrical issues. Is now Wednesday morning and still waiting for his call, despite calls to the dispatcher, Andrew's cell (which goes straight to voice mail) and to the other project manager, Nick.Nick on Monday around 1pm:Andrew is standing right next to me, he will be calling you back right now!.

Jennifer has been wonderful to work with! We had a large job on an investment property that came up last minute. She's been on top of everything, making sure the guys get the job done on time and available to answer any questions that come up along the way.

Larry not only fixed the toilet problem I'd called about, he also checked and fixed another item on the same fixture while he was there. Super appreciative of the attention on this and his walking me through what he was doing each step of the way.

Oscar De La Fuente is the best, hands down!!! The third time is the charm. He fully explained everything from what he was doing and what the problem was and even helped us locate our outside clean out that was hidden under compacted dirt.

I will always suggest Roto-rooter; but especially José and Jesus they are absolutely amazing! We have had so many water pressure issues and no plumber was willing to take the time to figure out what the exact issue was until they took the time to solve the puzzle.

I had a pretty bad kitchen clog that I tried to clear myself and couldn’t. I called a plumber and he was also not able to clear the drain. This plumber told me I’ve would have to get an electric jetter to clear the drain, which I found out is expensive and not recommended on residential drains. I called Roto-Rooter for a second opinion and they were able to clear the drain in under 20 minutes. Will definitely call them first in the future!

The service very prompt and timely. The dispatcher said the plumber would arrive within a specific two-hour window, and the plumber called well before the window expired. We live just north of Austin, and the plumber still showed up before the time limit. He was very professional and helpful. Before beginning any work, he informed us of what the labor costs would be, which I appreciated very much. He informed me of every thing he needed to do to fix our busted pipe and let me participate in the decision-making process. Given the fact that our plumbing need was an emergency (busted pipe while gardening), we were more than thrilled with our Roto-rooter experience.

Excellent service. Had to replace a shower only posi-temp valve behind the wall after the original valve broke. Part of the job was cutting drywall from the room behind the shower, removing the old valve and soldering in the new. My tech, Lenny Rivera, was professional, thorough, and helped keep the drywall dust to a minimum. I am very pleased with the work. Thanks!

I had a blocked main drain preventing the use of one of my full bathrooms. After our appointment window had expired (4:00PM - 7:00PM) our man finally arrived at about 7:30. I was a bit put off, but he set right to work and finally figured out a pretty tricky issue that was causing us not to be able to get hot water at out kitchen sink (not a good thing).All ended well......sink fixed, and I think we were charged fairly. We will use them again (hopefully, not soon).BH

Jason is super responsive. He called me from the road when he was delayed. He explained the options clearly to me before starting the work. I will definitely recommend Roto Rooter (specifically Jason) to my friends.

We called in the evening with a 6-10 pm appt. which got pushed back to 9 pm-1 am. Having to work the next day we opted to wait and set up a 10 am - 1 pm appt. The technician was not able to get to the house until 3 pm that day. However, once there he was very nice, professional and quick. I was running 5 mins behind and when I arrived at the house he was already looking into our issue. (It was a leak in the front yard.) I would use this company again unless it was something I needed fixed immediately as the wait time was unpredictable. That is the only reason they got 4 stars instead of five.

Jenn, Jerome and Ben were the awesome team that helped me avoid a potentially nasty sewer problem due to the previous owner putting in a master bath without pulling a permit and then proceeding by doing everything illegally. I had been in the dark about this for 10 years and it was the COA who alerted me to the problem, and for the city, they were very nice about it, knowing it was not my fault at all. So I got six bids and Jenn with Roto-Rooter impressed me the most. She just seemed like a straight shooter and who really knew her stuff. Plus I like supporting a woman who is succeeding in a business that is still mostly done by men. Then Jerome and Ben showed up to do the actual work, and they really went above and beyond, I am so impressed. I'm still sad that my savings for a new kitchen countertop and backsplash (to replace the crummy ones put in by the same lowlife sellers) went for a new sewer line instead but hey, it's better than the nasty alternative. :) And bottom line, I know the job was done right and passed inspection with COA because I saw it myself.

Roto-Rooter in Austin definitely deserves a top rating! I had some old fixtures in a condo that needed to be brought up to code, but several plumbers had been either unable or unwilling to complete the job, Jose (790) not only took on the challenge, but contacted my property management company as well as the city of Austin to get the water shut off to perform this work. He went above and beyond in making phone calls ahead of time and making sure everyone was in place in a timely manner. He, along with Jesus (2707), managed to change out the fixtures quickly and efficiently, and it looks great! I couldn't be happier to have this job complete after a week of trying. Thanks, Jose, for taking ownership and really helping me get this done in record time. Other companies could definitely take a lesson. I will certainly use Roto-Rooter in the future for my plumbing needs.

Called these guys after a 16 hour work day to handle a simple clog, they didn’t have a snake larger then 3/8 by 75’, and couldn’t reach the clog. Then the tech told me it was going to be 300.00 for the call, then I reminded him that I was the owner of a plumbing company, and he lowered it to 50.00. So word of advice if a plumbing company falls short because of their own practices, don’t pay, and it’s just down right ridiculous that they don’t carry the proper equipment and probably use that excuse just to make money from just simply showing up... So lame, must train plumbers correctly, and we will all make this world a safer place.

My water heat broke. I called and a tech was at our house within a few hours to diagnose the situation. By the next morning a new water heater was installed. The two techs who did the work, Jose and Jesus were professional. They cleaned up and all along the process kept me informed. At the end they answered all my questions too. This is why I am a repeat customer of Roto-Rooter in Austin.

This company was impressive as was the plumber they sent out - Jesus! He showed up early and did an extensive search for a very small leak that the water company suspected I had. He checked out all water sources - toilets, sinks, water softner, & outside faucets. He found the leak & fixed it. I even had to leave for a family medical emergency & he kept working. He was awesome!!!!

The technicians were very professional and knew what they were doing. Were able to clear the clog and indicated that there did not seem to be a belly in the drain line. All drain lines were running freely when they finished.

Scheduled an appointment and they cancelled and said they'd come the next day. The next day they called 2 hours too early and said they could come. We were out so I said to stick with the original time. Then they called and said they'd be late. They never called again and I finally had to call and cancel because it was too late in the evening. The were hardly apologetic and made no attempt to rectify. Will never attempt again.

Had an issue with 2 of our toilets constantly running water, so I called Roto-Roter Plumbing and they sent Bryan Cheaney he did an awesome job! Fixed the 2 toilets in less than 30 minutes and was very nice and friendly! I would recommend Bryan Cheaney with Roto-Roter Plumbing anytime!

Roto Rooter sent Shannon #2649. He repaired the problem in record time, was friendly and quick. Cleaned up after himself and came to my home within an hour after I called. I would highly recommend Roto Rooter.

After my previous review, they contacted me right away and made things right. They sent someone else out who was throughout and took his time. They weren't able to correct the issue this time but I have used them in the past and they were able to. They have even come after 9pm to help me with a drain problem. I wouldn't hesitate to contact this company.

The plumber, Jason was excellent. However, when I called in they told me a dispatch would call me. After 2 hours I called back. This time I was transferred to the dispatch desk. He said that he never received a note about me or to call me. He said somebody should call me within an hour. An hour 1.5 i called back because I hadn't heard from anybody. Again they said I should hear from somebody within an hour. 1.5 hours later I called back because I hadn't heard from anybody. This time they scheduled me for 7:45 the next morning. They said that somebody should be out between 8 and 10 am. At 10:30 am I called them back because I had not heard from anybody. This time the lady who answered the phone called me back about 1 hr later to let me know that the plumber still wasn't freed from the last job, but that I was next. It was nice to know that I was actually still on the schedule.

Had an appointment today between 10-12pm and they never showed. An hour after that window closed I called and Karen left me on hold for 20 min. My time is just as important as yours so needless to say I’ll never use your company again.

Shannon came in the middle of the night when our sewer line was backing up. He unclogged it quickly. Great service. Love it that I can call them day or night.

Two team members worked diligently to remove 5 ft of nasty clog from our drain over the course of 2 hours. They didn't give up!

Though the plumber was good, the dispatch service was very disappointing. I put in a call on a Saturday morning at 11am and did not get a plumber until Sunday at 10am. Keep in mind, this is from a company that offers 24/7 service. Very frustrating. I was also disappointed that Roto-Rooter uncharges parts unreasonably. It's standard for a plumber to charge twice the retail price of a part, but triple the price?!

Chad, Mo, Noah and Lance were wonderful. Came during an emergency. Showed up when they were supposed to. Responsive. They may not be the cheapest, but they were worth it

Brett with Roto-Rooter came out with a video pipe camera to check out our sewage line, after his colleague had been at our home over the weekend performing an emergency sewage clean-out. Brett was honest and kind enough to point out that the root stoppage might possibly be occurring on the MUD side of the line. When I called and had the MUD folks come out, they concurred, and fixed the problem on their own dime. I was amazed and pleased to have found an honest service person, who saved us hundreds of dollars.

I was given a window of 8-12am. Service person never showed or called. I spoke to dispatcher several times throughout the day and was lied to about being next in line for service (no one ever called or showed). Dispatcher also lied and said they called my phone to tell me they were running hours behind and tried to leave a voicemail. No record of any call received nor any voicemail (my VM is empty). Eventually gave up and called someone else.

They began work on replacing a outdoor water line on July 3rd, they placed the line, leaving an open trench in my yard until the work was inspected. I received no follow up from any one associated with Roto-Rooter. I called and spoke with the Senior Estimator on July 5th and 6th who couldn't tell me, if the line had been inspected. I left a voice message with Dell at the Administration office on the 5th and received no reply. I finally called on the office Mgr (Dell) on July 9th and was able to finally get some results. I think it's bad business for a customer to constantly initiate contact for information on a job, we should be informed throughout the process. Oh... by the way, when they completed the work, still not a word. The only reason they get a 3 star rating is because of Jerome (who started the work, and communicated with me).

Technician failed to show up for first appointment.Technician showed up for second appointment, but there was no pre-arrival notification call before he showed up. The dispatcher called to say the technician was on his way, but the technician had already been there for a while.The work was completed quickly and correctly.I was not expecting to pay $388 to fix a faucet drip, especially when the technician was on site less than an hour.Just the facts.

they sent out a plumber not certified... so he couldn't perform the work.. dealing with the dispatch is a joke... suppose to have someone at my house the next day at 830am... no one showed up... I called and dispatch says all the plumbers are in a meeting and it will be a couple more hours ?? so you don't let anyone know you are going to be late several hours ??

Thanks to Omid my main drain is clear. 2 days of stress and a previous plumber who told me I would have to dig up the pipe to fix the block. Omid took care of the block and ran the equipment twice to confirm a cleared line. A total life saver.

They were prompt and helpful, pricey for sure but what could I do, pregnant woman inside and no working toilets, not a good thing. Not to add the gov shut down in which we are all employees of. Not knowing when our next paycheck is coming. But the problem was fixed in about 30 mins and $300 later. 4 stars just for the price of shoving a snake down my drain.

Had a serious leak outside involving rotted pipe and intrusive tree roots. Called a plumber who said repair would involve too much digging, would take all day, would be VERY expensive and did not want to take on the job. Called Roto-Rooter and technician who came thought the job was too much for him as it involved a well pump. But he called someone else at Roto-Rooter who had more well water experience. The second technician (Richard: 2861) came out within the hour and evaluated our problem which involved lots of digging, tree/root cutting, working around electric wiring to our well site and replacing metal piping. The bottom line: He did the work exactly as he described it, completing the job in about three hours, for the price we agreed upon, which we thought was more than fair and NOT very expensive. Richard was friendly, explained everything to our satisfaction and seemed to take pride in his work.

I recently purchased a new home and upon moving in discovered that the cast iron main sewer line was full of roots and the master bath was unusable. Jennifer Brown was the Senior estimator for Roto-Rooter who was in charge of the project from start to finish. She was professional and compassionate and worked with a great team to complete the project quickly. I now enjoy full use of all my plumbing! Representative was at my door within an hour of my request. He was remarkably personable, understanding and effective. Despite the somewhat tricky nature of our problem, he solved it quickly and tested his results extensively. It was a pleasure working with him.

Jesus did a really thorough job locating the issue and staying on it until the entire problem was resolved. He was also really good at communicating to both me and my tenant throughout the entire process. It was expensive, but I'm confident that this major problem is resolved now

I was extremely pleased with the service I received from Roto Rooter on Sept.13. I had previously had another plumbing company out here unclog a stoppage and they cleared it for 1 day, of course the next night on the 13th. I had a backup in the house and again another stoppage. The orginal company would not come back until the next day and I was without toilets, showers etc. I called Roto Rooter and they were here within the hour that night. Ken was the technician that came out and he was very helpful and fixed the problem. I will always from now on call Roto Rooter.

Andre Sr #4305 did a great job. He was on time, quick, gave a reasonable labor quote, and was professional and friendly. Not much more you can ask for as a customer.

Lenny Rivera came in and did a great job. Replaced a broken pipe in our yard,was very professional and courteous. Definitely would have this guy back to handle any of our future plumbing issues

I had already isolated that sewer blockage was between house and street, clearing it was beyond me. Charge was $310 for 30 minutes of work to run an auger from the cleanout 5 feet to the blockage (broken backwater valve). They also ran a camera from the cleanout to the street showing the pipe was clear everywhere else. The promised to come back to check the house where the water backed in for water damage but never fulfilled that part of the service. I did not price shop, but $600/hr is taking advantage of people in desperate situations, in my opinion. Then they quoted approximately $2300 to replace the backwater valve which I did myself for roughly $500 including paying someone else $300 to dig the hole. The good things I have to say is they came pretty quickly, provided an accurate diagnosis of the problem, and temporarily resolved the issue.

The Roto-Rooter person ( Omil ) did a fantastic job. He also took time and explained the issues and what to do in the future to minimize plumbing issues. Was very curties and very professional.

Whenever I need a plumber, I will call Roto-Rooter first. They have always been fast. professional and thorough. I like the fact that I can call and know that no matter what time or what day (holidays included); I will be able to get my plumbing issue resolved right away.I recently needed their service in Austin and called around 7:00 PM and asked if they could send a plumber the next morning. I was told a plumber could arrive at my Austin home between 8-9 am. I received a call before 7:30 the next morning from the Austin dispatcher to let me know they could have a person at my home within a half hour. Lenny from Roto-Rooter showed up as promised and completed the work promptly.

The 1 star is strictly for the poor call center interaction and scheduling error. The technician that eventually showed up was very competent and knowledgeable. Issue lies all in the scheduling team and not the technician. Management reached out and apologized.

Jose and Jesus were very prompt. They explained the process and put us at ease. They had masks and booties. They also continued to keep us informed. Overall we were very pleased with the work done

I would give 5 stars due to the technician who came to the house. They did a great job, explaining what was wrong, and how I could save money by doing some easy work myself.I am deducting a star for the scheduler. It took 3 tries to get it to where someone could come by the house during a time specified, and eventually I just had to be there all Saturday afternoon!

Our sewer backed up into the house. We called Roto-Rooter and they were able to get to our house within a couple hours. They snaked the sewer line between the house and street and it fixed the problem. Very thorough and communicated all issues.

Brett (#111) did an excellent job in fixing the shower faucet. Water flows perfectly. Communicated well and gave me options for a great service. The only issue or concern is roto rooter doesn't allow certain plumbers or technicians unclug drains which is odd.. I had to unclug my drain myself with youtube to save money cause it can get pricey real quick

Had a backed up kitchen sink drain that I had been wrestling with since 9 AM. I called the Roto-Rooter number and within 30 Minutes Andre was at my house. Within the hour it was clear and unplugged and he was done. Andre was extremely helpful, professional, and polite. I will definitely be calling them again in the future when I need plumber or other services.

I was relieved when they made an appointment to come help us get our water back on between 4-8. My family cancelled our pklans and did not try to find anyone else because we trusted that they would keep thier scheduled appointments. I received a call at 445 saying that our appointment was cancelled and they could not help us until monday. Please do not count on them to follow through with what they say they are going to do. Aweful that we cancelled plans and waited and even worse that we trusted them. Never again.

Called Roto Roter at 7:20 PM to report a bathroom leak that had damaged some of the walls and had leaked under the flooring as well (walking on the floor near the bathroom it was obvious that it was sodden underneath). The dispatcher called back at 7:35 to let me know that it would be 2-3 hours before a plumber could be there. I said that was fine. At 8:05 one of their water remediation specialists called (about the water damage / water removal). He said he would call at 7:00 AM the next day after the plumber determined the source of the leak and damage to see what services would be needed.at around 9:00 PM the initial dispatch woman called to say that no one could come out tonight, but promised (yes actually promised) that a plumber would be at my house by 8:00 AM.The water remediation guy DID NOT call in the morning (but the plumber had not been here so no rush apparently).It is Austin so I gave the plumber additional time to arrive. At 8:35, I called Roto Rooter and the woman who answered the phone said that she could dispatch someone as soon as they were available. I asked to speak to a manager.I spoke with Chris the manager who apologized, but told me that it might not be until 11:00 that someone would actually arrive. He did not have an explanation why Roto Rooter had failed to send someone, keep me informed, or what Roto Rooter was willing to do about it.I will NEVER under any circumstances use Roto Rooter again.

Called at 9 AM to report a plumbing leak. The dispatcher informed us a plumber would arrive between the hours of 2 & 5. At 4:15 they called to inform me the plumber couldn't make and and wanted to re-schedule for the next day. I explained that it was a LEAK and I wanted it fixed that day which way the reason I had called a plumber offering 24 hour service. I explained that had they called me earlier in the day to report they couldn't make it we could have made other arrangements. No apology. No call back from management. STAY AWAY.

I had to mark a star, but if I could I would NOT! I called them Sunday,because my water heater was leaking. They told me they would come out on Monday between 8am-10am. Well, they called me at 10 to tell me it would be closer to noon. I called them at 12:30, and they told me they would send someone out soon. It is Tuesday 2:00 pm and still have not heard back from t hem! I will never give them my business !

The service technician Cris was wonderful came out on Labor Day to assess the problem did a wonderful job would have gotten 5 stars based on service but the technician who originally installed the system didn't do it correctly and they had to fix the mistakes ended up getting a new waterheater on warranty. cudos on the follow through and making it right.

Never trust a plumbing company that cant quote you an hourly rate. This one seems to want 4-500/hr(2x avg) and has yet to show for appointments.

The service schedule is quick. The fee charge is pretty high vs. the service that was performed. Not recommended.

Listen, all! I work downstream in a business park where we all share the same main line for waste water. A few days ago, a business further up the hill had sewage flowing into their store and called Roto Rooter, who promptly fixed their problem.Cut to now: I'm working on New Year's Eve and now I'm stuck after hours with a plumber because sewage is mysteriously leaking through the walls. We're at a standstill because it was so overwhelming, so we tried calling Roto Rooter to ask them what they did at the other business. Maybe then we could find out how this happened.I call and get a quick response from their call center, so I explain everything and ask if they could talk to my plumber for a minute. After all of my explaining, the employee says she can't understand anything I said and I told her I'd hang up and call right back; She agreed.Suddenly I'm left waiting for the automation to switch to a ring and receiving none. When the phone starts ringing, they promptly hang up. I call back 2-3 more times, all yielding hastier hang-ups.Look, I get that it's New Year's Eve, and there's someplace we'd all rather be, but I stay and clean up the mess because it's my job, and I don't appreciate that they started ignoring me because they probably screwed something up. BE WARNEDUPDATE: Now that we fixed the problem (no thanks to our friends at Roto Rooter) we discovered that they pushed the blockage down instead of removing it. Thanks, Roto Rooter!

The only problem I had was they did not arrive when I was told between 10am and 12pm, the arrived at around 3pm but the repair was done quickly as they knew what they were doing, thank you for getting this matter fixed.

Too bad they wont allow for negative stars on here because my experience up to now has been one of the worse that I have ever had with a company anywhere. I filled out a service call because I had a leaking pipe leading into the water heater. I figured since I was having someone come out, I would have them replace the water heater as well. My wife took the day off to meet them and I was at work. She tells me the bill was about $800 which seemed right on line for what I thought for a new water heater and the associated pipes. I get home and they had only replaced 3 pipes and a couple valves. So 2 hours of work and maybe $50 in parts came out to almost $800. I felt robbed. I am waiting a call from the GM to make this right.

I have used Roto Rooter in the past but given their ridiculous increase in the price for a simple drain cleaning ($370 plus taxes) under the guise and justification of keeping up with what the competition charges (really?!!!) I will not use them. There are other quality plumbing services in Austin that don't charge such a high price for such a simple job.

Rhace and Muhammed came for the removal/ cleanup of water damage in my condo. They were kind, professional, and did a great job treating the affected areas while not disrupting the rest of my place.
