I had the recent need to replace an old water heater as it cracked and started leaking water right before the Arctic Blast a few weeks ago. Out of the few local Plumbing companies I contacted, L&P Plumbing and Fabian were quick to respond. Fabian and I discussed the issue and the details over the phone and he provided me a reasonable quote via email almost immediately, then proceeded to schedule the service later that day. The two technicians that came to do the job a few days later were very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. My new 50 gal electric water heater was up and running in no time, it was a very clean job. They did excellent work, and I am very pleased with the service and overall experience, they were quick to respond and to schedule and complete the job efficiently. I strongly recommend them for any plumbing job and home repair needs. Thanks.

They were great, highly professional and fixed my under concrete pipe leak faster than I thought it could be done. They also gave me advice on a future remodel and where and how to run my lines in the future to avoid the same problem.

This was probably the best repair-related interaction I have ever had.L&P called me MAYBE three minutes after I submitted an Angi request. Unlike another company that contacted me later in the day, they provided best case and worst case quotes! Victor was able to get here EARLY, and diagnose, purchase parts, and install the fix with mind-blowing speed. He was totally willing to explain things, and the price was right on their best case estimate. It was awesome.

Fabian and his team are the BEST! They’ve helped me with many issues I’ve had in my weird, old house, each time finding an affordable fix, when I was dreading a huge bill. Oh, and as a single female homeowner, I always feel safe with them in my house. They even helped me push my car once when it had died in my driveway!! ?would recommend every time!

Had an outside (thankfully) pipe burst during a big freeze and I was out of town for another 10 days. They came and fixed it same day while other places were quoting 5 days later. Did a great job and sent lots of pictures of the job, along with insulating the outside pipe fully.Would highly recommend these guys and I will use again in the future!

Very surprised when they responded to my message on Friday before the New Years Weekend. We scheduled service for the next Tuesday morning. Alex called that morning and was here early. Very professional, performed the leak detection we scheduled and also volunteered to look at the water issue I had and gave his professional opinion about my options as I am in the insurance/mitigation process. Alex was very helpful and seemed to really care about my plumbing issues and that is something I appreciate. Would highly recommend them for these reasons.

Hired them to move an outdoor faucet in preparation for a new deck.From the initial phone call I got an estimate of quotes, and someone was able to come out that week and give me an exact estimate. He was upfront about different options and costs, and didn't pressure me into more expensive options.Once we scheduled a date they showed up exactly on time, moved the exterior faucet, and were done quickly.Everyone I interacted with was friendly and responsive, I'd happily work with them again in the future.

Impressed by the integrity and professionalism of these folks.Victor came out, arrived on time and got cracking on the issues that had been identified by a home inspector.Turns out the two expensive repairs that had been recommended weren't needed and instead everything was sorted out in an hour with some relatively minor adjustments.Was a pleasure working with Victor and you should call them if you need any plumbing help.

We reached out to L&P Plumbing when we had a water pressure surge that caused knocking in a wall near an outside spigot.Victor came out and did a thorough inspection of our water pressure and the system outside the house. He was very professional and, in the end, said that it was likely a city-caused pressure surge and that we didn’t need to replace or repair any equipment.What a relief to find a company that doesn’t try to find problems where there are none in order to make an extra dollar.I highly recommend L&P based on our interaction with them.

Calling L&P was a total disaster of an experience. They told me they'd send somebody between 1 and 3pm. When 3pm came and passed they never came. Instead I got a we'll get there when we get there. Instead of showing any respect for me and my schedule they told me to screw off and and hung up the phone. Now I'm scrambling to get my burst pipe fixed.

While on the highway in bumber to bumper traffic, I got flicked off by someone who also proceeded to cut me off with no blinker in a L&P plumbing truck. This caused the truck to then be stuck right in front of me in traffic for me to get all of the L&P information from the back of his truck. This truck also had a Planet K sticker so you know whoever drove this truck is a pot smoker probably high on the job. License plate JWH0151. I know I will never be contacting this company for any plumbing services and will make it a point to let people know of their unprofessional behavior.

They came over to the house to check out the issue and the issue had resolved itself. They were super nice, didn't charge me for the visit. Will definitely call them if I have any problems in the future.

Couldn’t be more thankful to have found L&P plumbing!! From start to finish on multiple jobs, they have delivered impeccably. Response time is quick and efficient. They showed up promptly on time and communicated arrival. Upon checking out my different concerns, they advised the best path forward with a few recommendations based on my personal DIY ability. After agreeing to work and a very reasonable price, the team worked efficiently, communicated throughout the job, cleaned up, and followed up to make sure everything was running fine a few days later. Adding another five star review to the pile. Last year I made a mistake trying to install a new bathtub faucet to my guest bathroom and I called a few different plumbers to come and do things correctly. L&P quoted me a very reasonable price so I went with them.Fabian showed up on time, took one look at my problem and then gave me some options on what he could do. Because it wasn't terribly urgent and we weren't sure if we were going to be remodeling he recommended that we just cap the pipe for the time being. After doing so (and re-installing a shower head so it worked better) he refused payment because it was such a simple job. I promised that when I did decide on what direction I'd take he'd be the person I would hire.Skip forward a year and I called Fabian to come back out to fix the plumbing completely. Again, the guy was on point every possible way. The faucet is now working flawlessly and the work was reasonably priced.I can not recommend L&P Plumbing enough. As long as I live in the Austin area, they will be my go to for anything plumbing related.Update:I hired L&P to come back and install a vanity or me. Alex showed up and custom fitted the plumbing to work with a somewhat difficult shelving configuration. He was excellent as was his work.

I had a burst pipe under my house two days before Christmas. Everywhere I called said it would be weeks and at least a thousand dollars to repair. Boy am I glad I went L&P. They came out the same day and fixed it for half the price quoted to me by other plumbers. They’ll be my first call next time, that is for sure.

Fabian was very quick to call me and tell me what was possibly wrong with the shower and he was correct. He had 2 of his guys come out and repair the cartridge in my main shower same day. These guys were outstanding and very easy to work with. They also take care of military veterans like myself! Victor came out and checked the work and explained that I didn’t need a circulation pump if the water was getting hot quickly. Very trustworthy, helpful and kind. Can’t say enough great things about this company!

Started out fine but went downhill. I hired L&P to install a backflow preventer. Fabian came out to give me an estimate and when I scheduled the service, he said he’d send his guys out to install the backflow valve and then he’d come out later that week to do a follow-up service. Despite telling me multiple times that they were coming in the afternoon, they showed at 9am without warning to install the valve. They were fast though, so it was fine. Fabian never showed up for the follow-up service. He cancelled/no-showed 3 times and then stopped responding altogether after I paid my bill. Disappointing & unprofessional - I would’ve liked to use them again in the future but after that experience, I won’t be contacting them again.

Tree roots were in my main sewer line. A friend highly recommended L&P - they were able to schedule a visit the same day, came exactly on time, and quickly diagnosed where the problem was. He was very knowledgeable and communicative, and determined that the broken part of the pipe was just barely past the property line. He ended up being 100% correct- the city confirmed this and took care of it. Previously had another plumbing company incorrectly diagnose it was on my property, and quoted me on what would've been a needless job. So a huge thank you to Fabian/L&P - I will call them for any future plumbing work and will highly recommend them to others.

Noticed a leak at our rental property right before a new tenant was to move in. It was also right before the freeze in Austin in early February. Made many frantic blind calls to various plumbers and plumbing companies in Austin (I don't live in Austin) and finally talked to a real person - Fabian- with L & P Plumbing. He went way beyond anything I expected after I described our issue. He actually went over to the house, crawled under to assess the problem, turned the water off so it wouldn't freeze, went back over a couple days later to turn water back on for the gas company and he did all this even before I committed to them doing the repair and without asking for my life history or a credit card number or a deposit. They were prompt, honest, fairly priced (as far as I know), did the repair quickly, worked with our tenant, and exhibited great customer service. I strongly recommend L & P Plumbing and will rely on them for our future plumbing issues.

My exgirlfriend got mad at me for catching her cheating on me and ripped off the hot water knob on my bath tub after she finished taking a shower. Victor was amazing! Not only did he replace my hot and cold water knobs, but he fixed the leaks too that were leaking water from the knobs when they were on! He also came back to ensure the water pressure was good. Fabian, his boss, was also very professional and helpful in making sure the job was done right! I'd highly recommend this company to anyone needing their plumbing needs met! SO after a couple of overpriced quotes, I got a inquiry from a certain Alist website that L&P wanted to bid on my non emergency plumbing issue. I said yes and 5 min later got a call from the owner who asked pertinent questions and said that yes I needed a PRV valve installed in my yard along with a reasonable price for the job and an option for adding a easy cut-off value for the future. Quick turnaround, clean work , tech answered questions and dealt with minor issues. done fast as well. So hell yes I recommend them.

Alex did a great job repairing a broken sewage drain pipe underneath the slab, which required tunneling. Very responsive and communicated effectively what was needed to be done.

I cannot recommend L&P plumbing highly enough! They are the most professional, high quality, upstanding guys ever! Every time I call or text they respond right away. They never leave you waiting. Their prices are great, and the work is top quality. Seriously, call them!

Austin had just suffered its worst snow storm in decades, our tenant thought she had a broken pipe. She was stuck with no water and other companies were telling us they were booked months out due to the issues created by the weather crisis. L&P Plumbing responded same day, squeezing us in between appointments. Fabian was able to assess the damage and get the water on for our tenant as a complimentary service. What a stand up company! L&P plumbing recently installed 5 toilets in our home. After a few weeks we discovered water pouring through our downstairs guest bathroom ceiling light fixture. We immediately called an emergency plumber (S&D) to see if they could determine the problem. Their conclusion was that the toilets were not installed properly by L&P. Leaking toilet water from the upstairs caused damage to the inside and outside of our walls. Since that toilet was installed so poorly we became concerned about all other toilets installed. S&D discovered they were also installed poorly, not sealed. L&P came out today but refused to properly seal the remaining toilets. We now have to use another company and pay to redo their failed work and hope no more damage is done to our home. It's been a complete nightmare and no one wants to deal with toilet water all over their house. I would feel completely different if L&P would correct their failed work. I would most definitely choose another company.

L&P replaced 50 feet of sewer drain pipe, had to dig it up from below ground. They began first day I called for service. Their personnel were professional and friendly and allowed me to look over their shoulder every step of the way (very patient with me). Their price was very reasonable, much lower than other quotes that I received.

We needed something to prevent rats from swimming up our sewer pipe and called several other plumping services and were told they didn’t know how to help us, until we called L&P. Fabio was familiar with the business and recommended installing a backflow preventer. It only took a couple of hours between we made the phone call and the technician arrived. Got the problem solved fast and professionally!
