Kyle and Angel were AMAZING!!!! Words can't describe how happy we are with their service. They arrived right on time. They offered to wear booties to protect our floors, got straight to work and communicated through the entire process. We discussed an initial price and they got the shower fixed instantly!!! Our sink in the kitchen was another story. They did they best they could and saw we needed a little more work. When they knew it was gonna be more they walked us through payment plans and discounts which helped us get it all done in one fell swoop. They even played with our three crazy dogs. I couldn't ask for two better professionals to take care of our home. Angel and Kyle you guys are AMAZING!!! Our plumbing company for life!!!

S&D plumbing did a wonderful job from leak detection to repair. They were extremely responsive. Melvin and Jason did a great job detecting the leak and letting us know what the issue was. Esteban and Nate were very professional and did a wonderful job with the actual repair. They walked us through each step as they went and answered all of our questions along the way. Everyone involved was extremely professional and made a tough situation much easier to manage. S&D will be our go to plumbers for sure!

S & D Plumbing was wonderful from the start to finish. They arrived on time and were proactive in locating my water leak and getting it fixed. They were very thorough in performing their job and did post job testing to verify no other problems were present. We've used S&D Plumbing a few times over the year and always had great results. Other (not to be named) plumbing companies have left us hesitant to reach out, but with S&D we're getting over that. Kyle has been out for a couple different repair jobs in the last few years and is always incredibly professional and friendly. Kyle and Carson were amazing. They were both so professional and respectful and showed me the issue with the clog in my kitchen sink pipe with their cameras. They even helped me understand how the pipes are connected under my foundation to my septic. They definitely knew their stuff and I am thankful! Kyle went the extra mile giving me advice about my water softener and how to clear up my water quality/color. I can’t recommend these guys enough. We came to S&D after other plumbing companies failed to fix the draining issues. Since then, we've been a loyal customer of S&D. They are very responsive and of excellent quality! Integrity is key to their business. S&D is true to the plumbing issues/problems and always provides the most efficient solutions. We had a burst pipe outdoors due to the freeze on Christmas Eve. I called them, and they put us on Monday's schedule due to the holidays. They called me back on Monday and came in the afternoon to fix the pipes. Initially, they thought the fix would be more complicated, but later they found it was an easy fix and the cost would be much less. I appreciate it!I seldom leave a review for business unless I'm very impressed. If you are looking for plumbers, S&D is fantastic.

S&D Plumbing exceeds expectations in regards to service, efficiency, price,and professionalism. I’ve used them several times now, from cleaning out clogged drain lines to replacing our tankless water heater during the winter storm, and have had a positive experience each time. I had a broken pipe and water had flooded my garage. I had been doing without water for 5 days. I was so fortunate to get an appt with S&D Plumbing. Travis and Eric were so nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. They quickly assessed the situation and gave me options. Travis explained several things to me that were very helpful. Excellent service! Such an easy process, messaged through their site for service and they promptly responded. Set me up for same day service all through text, so easy. We had an issue with the water spigot on the outside of our house not working.Kyle & Cobey discovered the issue and promptly repaired it, now we have water flowing again! The guys were friendly and knowledgeable and finished the job by inspecting all the faucets in the house and the hot water heater.Would definitely recommend and use S&D again. Thank you!

We had an outside water leak for sometime and we had total 4 plumbers came and collected visit fee without finding leak. So called S&D plumbing and came very next day. Matt and his partner did an excellent job in communicating at each level and resolving the leak in given timeframe. I would definitely recommend this company. We used S&D Plumbing for our water leak in the concrete slab. They have a great BBB rating and they arrived as scheduled. Ryan & Travis were able to quickly locate our leak and shut off the line and identify another problem that might have contributed to our leak. The following day, Carson and Coy arrived to run a new water line to our kitchen. They were very careful to be the least invasive to the interior finishes and replace the exterior valves. The crews were very professional and cleaned up the area when they left. We will use S&D Plumbing in the future.

This was my first time using the services of S&D, but when I run into plumbing issues I’m the future I will definitely use them again. The technicians were professional, knowledgeable, and diagnosed, gave me a fair estimate and fixed my issue within 20 mins. Cole is a solid guy and a definite asset to the company. Carson and Esteban were wonderful. they took on a very difficult rerouting of lines to restore service from a leaking copper line in our slab. The manifolds were not where they were expected and should have been, as a result difficult to find. They kept at it and created a solution and installed the solution. The whole while they kept us updated on the status and answered all questions. Frequently checked that they were providing adequate home owner training and best practices. Enthusiastically worked till nearly 11 pm to finish so they did not need to come back the next day and upset our routine for multiple days versus one long day. Many Many thanks to them for a wonderful job. Will certainly be calling them back for future work.

S&D was recommended to us by another plumbing company because we had a slab leak with CPVC piping. Melvin came out to look at the job and came up with a better solution to reroute the hot water feeds via overhead Pex piping. The Allstate adjuster who happened to be there at the same time thought this was a excellent solution. The Allstate adjuster also said the S&D job write up by Melvin was the best he's seen in all his years of working with plumbing companies! The S&D technicians, Esteban & Carson were out the very next day to do the overhead plumbing reroute. The quality workmanship, attention to detail, willingness to answer our many questions as well as to inform my wife and I of what was being done and why was incredible! these guys were great...Two gentlemen showed up, Kyle and my apologies for not remembering his name but Latino American guy (might have been Estevan) and they came in and fixed a huge pipe issue with our master bathroom toilet under two hours and cleaned everything up perfectly. Really cool guys and got down to work immediately. I strongly recommend S&D for any plumbing issues your house or business might have...

I contacted S&D plumbing to repair an irrigation leak with their pinpoint leak detection tool.” After telling the plumber that the leak was somewhere in the yard, he insisted to search the house pipes even though it was confirmed by another plumber the leak was in the yard. I soon found out why he suggested that. After I was told the leak detection was a flat rate, the plumber called me again after an hour letting me know that he would need to charge me for the next hour until he could find the leak. I was completely blindsided and he told me he thought he told me it was per hour. Well turns out it took several hours had passed and gave no indication when and if it would be fixed. What is pinpoint about this?!!! He ended up putting a bandaid on it rather than running a pipe to the house. After checking with several property managers, they said I pain an astronomical amount of money which should have been fixed properly. What is even more messed up, I have been asking their customer service rep Maria since the first of March to talk with a Supervisor and her last correspondence was 7 days ago that someone would be in touch within 48 hours. Thats the third message I have received. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere unless you like wasting your money

Melvin and his team did a great job! They came to my place after 2 days I requested and found the leaking within a minute! I (and plumbers who came to my place a few days ago) suspected that the leaking is from concrete slab, but it turns out that the leak is from the front yard. He catched the leaking instantly without any high technology tools. If it's necessary, he probably used that tool, but he found the leaking with just dip stick. He saved me from $10000 of bills for concrete slab leaking repair. Highly recommend him and his team.

Firstly, I want to congratulate this business for its stellar communication. They kept in contact with me every step of the way. They were able to schedule my repair on a weekend, which was deeply appreciated.I live out of state. This property will be our retirement home sometime in the next decade, but right now we have a tenant. The lack of hot water was an urgent issue and not something that I could wait to get several quotes before acting on.Next, I had concerns about the scope of the work once the technician arrived. This property was built in 2020. The technician offered the opinion that my water heater was old and that it was typical to see this kind of breakdown given its age. I'll admit this is my first experience with a three-year-old water heater in its death throes. Maybe the builder installed sub-standard equipment, but I felt uneasy with the assessment. Especially once it was strongly recommended that I replace the unit. The quote given was $3300 for a new water heater and installation. It’s a small home—less than 1500 square feet—I can’t imagine the water heater was specialized enough to merit what seemed to be an inflated price.I was cautioned that by fixing only the valve more parts could break during the repair. It was a reality I would need to accept beforehand. I did.Luckily, the work was completed and the valve was replaced without further damage. The entire cost amounted to the originally quoted $513 to repair the valve. I’m told the water heater is now functional.I was provided pictures of the work and an itemized invoice. They accommodated me and fixed the appliance in a timely fashion.

i appreciated the text indicating the technician was on his way which included a photo. information was provided clearly without pressure. was able to get a new water heater installed during the same visit and no mess was left behind. would highly recommend.

I do appreciate S&D coming out to check on my sump pump the day I called, and the agent was nice. However, the phone agent said it would be a free consultation and then the agent who came ran my hose to the pump and watched it work, and said the issue was likely a power outage. He then charged me $250. This was more than expected, and more than the value brought of the “diagnostic”, and was disappointing for my first try of this company.

Had two different outdoor water leaks caused by our last hard freeze. Cole Huber was the repair person and he made sure everything was repaired and working before he left. Highly recommend S & D Plumbing.

I had called this business based upon information granted to me by the manufacturer who the item warrantied under needless to say they were unable to complete their job as requested nor did they go above or beyond a simple surface level test normally when diagnostics are completed who inspect the unit thoroughly which they did not.Also upon completion of what they deem an inspection proceeded to try an upsell me products and services that i don't need considering my appliances are fairly new also told me that i needed a new part but how would they know if all they did was a visual inspection behold these companies technicians are more of a salesperson than a technicianIn conclusion my neighbor came over after mentioning this situation to him and fixed the issue said it was just a loose fitting and to think they charged me nearly 500 dollars for something my neighbor fixed in 15 min s and d is absolutely disgusting in their business practice slimly salespeople masked as technicians.

This company takes advantage of people and is completely over priced. They were $1500+ over priced and charged a $195.00 trip charge- estimated that goes toward job that is over priced. I asked for more details on labor cost breakouts and they could not provide or call me back. I will never recommend this company to anyone. They hustled my money and had no answers for me. The owner was so busy all day on calls, she could not call me back. Do not use this company. I asked for a price range and they claimed they do not have price ranges but they have been in business for 40 years but don't know how much things cost???? I was railroaded 100%. S&D has very good customer service- easy to make an appointment. Lorenzo and Jason were on time, professional, and found the issue right away (leaking kitchen sink). They were very patient in explaining what was wrong to a layman like me. They also looked at few other plumbing issues that I hadn't thought to mention at the time of appointment (control pump issue/ water expansion tank in need of replacement) which was good thing because they needed to be addressed. Overall, very impressed with S&D and Jason & Lorenzo.-addendum:I had very good experience before with Jason, but this time when I had an issue with my tenant's electric water heater, the tech came out, charged $195 fee for coming out, and basically said he cannot figure out what's wrong. He said it would be ~$500 to run diagnostics with additional charge to replace whatever has to be replaced, but as it has been 10 years since the water heaters were placed, he recommends replacing the whole heater which are ~$6000.I asked another plumber for second opinion who came out for $89 travel charge, figured out the problem, reset the thermostat for no additional charge. I mean come on, S&D - I think the company policies in charging customers $$$ are leading to technicians not doing their job right.

There's not enough good things I could say about the crew that came out. They were on time, polite, knowledgeable, excellent communication and customer service skills and most of all great work. S&D did a good job replacing my pressure reducing valve. The previous valve failed and my water pressure was greatly reduced when two faucets ran at the same time. S&D’s pricing seems reasonable for the work that was needed. Customer service over the phone and in person was very good. I would definitely use this company again.

Needed immediate help with a plumbing leak. They came to the rescue same day, when everyone else we called said it would be 3-5 days. They were fast, and completed all necessary repairs within the quote they provided. Lorenzo and his team were amazing!!!

I was quoted more than $320 to replace a leaky toilet valve. Was told their software could not bill me for just the valve replacement so they had to rebuild my toilet. Told them no and bought a toilet tank kit at the hardware store for $22. Kept getting texts asking me to leave a review so here it is.

Found water leak in water heater tubing in my attic and water stains on ceiling, so I immediately called S&D Plumbing. They were super helpful and responsive, and were able to get a technician, Jorge, to my property within 2 hours. Jorge was very professional and friendly, and was able to replace our tubing and water supply lines very quickly, stopping the leak.What a relief! Will definitely use S&D Plumbing in the future if I need it.

Warning! Never trust a company that charges your credit card $2,600 before ever sending a tech to your house. I did because of a water leak emergency. What a mistake. S&D plumbing uses unqualified techs with no supervision. That would explain why they have so many negative reviews. Never use S&D plumbing. Never!

Awoke to frozen pipes - while others put me on hold - S&D answered promptly with a kind greeting and moved quickly - a truck was at my house within 90 minutes! The problem solved 30 minutes later. They went above and beyond by going back to warehouse. Kind, professional, prompt!

Two techs did the work. One seemed to have very little experience. Charge for work came out to about $900/hr for the two techs combined. They quote by job and as you see, they estimate very conservatively in their favor.

Had Cole come out to look at 2 leaks. Very polite and friendly. Described the leaks and how he was going to repair them with the cost

Easiest company to deal with. From initial call to schedule my appointment to my tech showing up everything was extremely easy. They explained my issues and went about executing the fix. Extremely happy and would definitely use them in the future.

Nick and Cole did a fantastic job. They were thorough, prompt, and friendly. They even turned around and came back, to walk me through the repair when I returned home just as they were leaving. On the administrative side, it was easy to schedule same week for both the estimate and the water heater replacement, which is fantastic when you're taking an ice cold shower each morning.

Kyle and Angel were knowledgeable and professional. After moving and repairing a gas line for a replacement fire place, they discovered a leak in our gas line that had gone previously undetected by the gas company after a tornado. They worked diligently to find not just 1, but 2 leaks in our gas line and fix them as well. They were friendly and kind to our children as well and respectful of our home and time. This turned into a larger job than expected but I'm thankful that we were able to get it done.

S&D Plumbing was exceptional. Had a leak in main water line where a loop was installed incorrectly by a company who installed a water softener. Kyle found the issue and did an excellent repair. He even had some suggestions on how to improve some things done by the water softener company. I continue to be very impressed with this company and the service they provide. S&D has provided high quality, dependable service at a time when life is not allowing me to have extra time to make sure my home repairs are being done correctly and with honest, highly trained, and knowledgeable people. No matter how you slice or dice it, spending money on home repair sucks, but at least you're handing your hard earned money over to people who are also working hard to earn it. S&D Plumbing does an outstanding job and they standby their work and products. I recently moved into a home and there were a number of items that needed addressed, which they did quickly and competently. Since then, I have had them fix a couple other items, a leaky sink and shower valve. I joined their VIP, which reduces service call costs, has a couple annual water check perks, and allegedly gives you faster priority for issues. So far, I have not seen a major advantage and wouldn’t recommend it unless you have an older home. Customer service has been top notch and we’ve had a number of guys come out and they have all been knowledgeable and polite. Highly recommend!

As a consumer i hada choice and i take responsibility for my part. But they are over priced. My dryer had to be converted from natural gas to propane for my new property. I thought it would be best to get a professional person to make the change. The plumber was kind and professional. And showed up within the window of time. He did let us know the appropriate time frame and cost. I thought it very high. And I could have said no and sent the guy away. But we have not had a functional dryer for over a month. I was desperate and he was there. That was my mistake by saying yes. I was charged $585 to put a part in my dryer that in my opinion should have taken 30 to 45 minutes. I had to provide the part and convert kit. So that price was labor only. I should have done it myself. I thought because we were dealing with gas it would be safer to get a professional. Again, I should have said no thanks and I will no be calling them again

Kyle and Travis are Top Notch professional! They came to repair the faucet in one of my bathrooms. Perfect job. I think what I was most impressed with was they did a complimentary water check on other bathroom toilets, water heater, softener kitchen faucet to make sure everything was ok. Way overpriced! They installed a water heater and charged me 2500 for the water heater only (+1000 for labor). When I later checked at home depot, I could have gotten the same water heater for at least a 1000 cheaper. I was traveling and left my wife dealing with this, but now I am so angry at S&D for selling me this overpriced product! Never again S&D plumbing!

We called S&D after our first month in our house and the water bill was extremely high, as I suspected a leak. I was originally quoted $375 before a $50 promo coupon. The techs came out, inspected everything from top to bottom, and it was determined that there was no major leak but the irrigation system could have one. They charged me a lesser diagnostic fee which saved me a lot of money. The techs were very thorough, professional, and I would highly recommend them for your plumbing service!

The plumbers that came out were outstanding!!! Curtious and customer focused. They installed a gas line for my home generator and installed my water softener. They took the time to explain all they did and their professionalism is second to none. You have a customer for life.

Came home after lunch and found water gushing out of the side of my house. It was coming from the outside hose faucet. I figured the freezing temperatures the previous few days caused a pipe to burst. I called several plumbing companies and none could help me right away and I needed help immediately. S&D was friendly and courteous, starting with Zoe who took my call. About 20 min later, Jason and Cole showed up to do the repair. Jason explained what he and Cole were going to do to diagnose the issue and how the pricing works. That was helpful. They quickly diagnosed the issue. The hose valve had ruptured. The repair was done in 10 minutes. Thankfully it wasn’t a bursted pipe in the wall. Jason and Cole were very courteous, professional and offered a lot of plumbing advice that wasn’t even related to the repair call. They literally saved the day for me and my family. I plan to call S&D plumbing for additional plumbing services I will need in the near future.

First off the guys that did the repair were great. They showed up at the time they said, diagnosed the problem and did the repair in about an hour. My only gripe with this company us they were exceptionally expensive. I originally planned on another company and wanted them to come that day (Friday) to look at it. That company had a trip charge of $225 and a half hourly fee of $95. However they couldn't make it that day and I thought the hourly fee was high and worried it would add up too quickly of the job took several hours and having to pay a trip fee of $225 to find out I couldn't afford them.I found S&D Plumbing and was told they could come out same day, had no trip charge (although that's actually very misleading, I'll get to that in a second) and charged by the job rather than the hour. After accepting the appointment and cancelling the first, I received a call at our appointed time that afternoon that they would need to reschedule for the following day.The good: they showed up on time (early actually I think), and completed the repairs in a timely and effective manner (as far as I know anyway).The bad: Even though there was no trip charge, they charged a $250 to diagnose the problem and provide an estimate, so in essence, a trip fee after all. In addition, even though the job was pretty straightforward and quick (1 hour), with the diagnostic fee, the total was almost $650 for a simple small pipe (leak) replacement. Had I kept the appointment with the first company, the repair would have been done at the same time due to the reschedule, but all things being equal, would have cost me around $225 (trip fee) + $190 (hourly fee), for a total of $415, or about $235 (roughly 30%) less to just have stuck with the first. I mentioned this to the tech and he did find and apply a $50 coupon discount for me saving a little extra $, but still $185 more is pretty significant for a 1 hour job.The work they were able to do was good and the techs themselves were great, but overall I would not recommend them based on price, unless you're ok overpaying for small jobs.

The entire experience from scheduling online, confirmation communications, service professional texts all exceeded expectations. They even sent me a text with a picture and bio of the technician who would be performing the service! Professional and buttoned up from beginning to end. The quality of the install was spectacular.

They make you agree to a $195 consultation fee that is payable if you don't do the work, then they quote you a large sum for the work, which forces you to make a decision to either pay for the overpriced work or lose the $195. You don't even get a chance to shop around for another quote for the repair work because to apply the $195 consultation fee to the cost of the work, it must be accepted and paid same day.RESPONSE TO OWNERS RESPONSE:Yes, everything was explained to me beforehand. What I didn't expect is that you would charge approximately $250/hour for the work itself. That was the surprise to me, which forced me to eat the $195 consultation fee because I wasn't going to pay $500+ to replace the gas valve on. my water heater.

Jason arrived right on time. He was respectful, professional and friendly. He did something I rarely experience with service professionals. He asked a lot of questions to get my input and to understand what I needed. He evaluated my plumbing issue in the master bathroom of our house, and offered me several options for repairing the toilet. He gave me time to assess and evaluate those options. I chose to have the toilet replaced due to several issues with the existing toilet. He offered me great value in a new toilet and was very professional in explaining everything he was going to do. Travis brought the new toilet while Jason removed and prepared for the installation. Travis arrived quickly and they had the new toilet installed in less than an hour. Jason also added value to the service call by taking the time to evaluate the plumbing in my home and give me an assessment of any other potential issues. I am very pleased with the quality of the work, the professionalism and respect of Jason and Travis, and the quick response even with so many people needing plumbing service. Nick and Tim arrived on-time and I cannot say enough great things about the job these two guys did on a pipe behind my shower wall. Their professionalism and knowledge was impeccable. Most recent service: restore hot water. Kevin diagnosed and started fixing the probably within 10 minutes, despite the confusion with the office staff about what needed to be done. Glad I pushed through and scheduled the appointment. Kevin was professional, thorough. He determined that no new appliances were needed, and no timely service was required. And he quickly resolved issues about cost of service. S&D is at the top of my list when it comes to professional plumbing services and Kevin is my plumber.

Lorenzo fixed an underground pipe and, on a separate visit, repaired a sink faucet. He's intelligent, honest, and trustworthy. The folks at S&D are truly top notch from the employees in the office who schedule the work to the technicians in the field who perform the services. They are punctual and professional and good to explain what they are going to do. We had an exceptionally challenging attic hot water heater replacement project. As difficult as the project was, Melvin and Nick worked all day to make certain that we had hot water that evening while taking great care to assure no damage was done to our property. S&D is not familiar with local code regulations. They replaced a Hot water heater and failed inspection due to lack of electrical disconnect being in line of sight of the unit. Inspector told me it failed and informed S&D. They knew why it failed and scheduled for someone to come out to address the failure. Guy came out and said yup, doesn't have an electrical disconnect. We will need to have an electrician do this for $1200. For a switch...S&D wasted my time sending someone out to tell every what we already know and then claim this is a unforeseen code regulation...They are supposed to be a local plumbing company, but they do not know local regulations apparently.They have followed up since I first reviewed. But only to get the failed permit off their books.

Chris and Cole did a fantastic job locating and quickly repairing a snapped water line that goes into my home. They took the time to educate and warn me about Kitec piping as well. Will be using these guys for future plumbing issues.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness of the estimate I requested. They inspected all the area under my house as I need a new sewer line and possibly some supply line work. The cost seemed reasonable when they reviewed the estimate with me. They are associated with a third-party company that will finance the cost of repairs with a variety of payment options, if needed. A surprise at 8:30 pm last night when a 20 year old tree root broke the water supply line to our home. Contacted S&D at 7:30 am today, Jorge arrived ahead of schedule. He was professional and courteous. Pin pointed and fixed the break, tested for completeness and filled the hole in our yard. S&D was communicative during the whole process. When Darius and Jake arrived, I was standing on the ledge with my razor blades in hand about to jump. They talked me off the ledge and told me to put down the razor blades and step away from the ledge, everything was going to be all right. I had been up till 11:00 the night before cleaning up a flooded bathroom. I had seen S&D Plumbing in my neighborhood doing big jobs of replacing cast iron pipes and those that used them seemed happy with the results. I was on the phone at 7:00 am booking an appointment. From the time that they arrived till they left it was a pleasure. They were professional and knowledgeable. They diagnosed the problems and will be working with my insurance company to rectify the long term solution. They fixed the immediate issue and diagnosed the cause of the issue that will take replacing my cast iron pipes. I feel totally confident going forward with the necessary solutions. I have not had good experience with plumbers in the past and are always skeptical of plumbers. I always feel that they want to do more than is really necessary. Not with these guys. They just wanted to diagnose and give me what was necessary.

I’ve been looking for a quality plumber for some time, and after a lightning strike that took out the hot water recirculating pump, I called S&D Plumbing because of their BBB rating and 41 years of service. They arrived as scheduled, were in contact as to arrival time, and went above and beyond to fix the problem. They located a new pump, made arrangements to pick it up after hours, and got it installed before they called it a day. Same day repair, extra hours, and went out of their way to get the job done without increasing price or pushing to next day because it was extra work to arrange getting the new pump. Kyle and Travis came out to replace an older water heater that had leaked and flooded a portion of our home. I believe it was Cindy who I spoke with to set up the appointment. Everyone was professional, helpful and made the entire process easy. Expectations were established quickly, a solution developed and clear explanations of time to complete the repair and costs. After the repair was completed Kyle and Travis showed me what had been done, reviewed damage to old parts and reviewed new parts. They made sure the water system was operating properly and everything brought up to code. We have used S&D for over 20 years and they have never disappointed us.

I can't say enough good things about these guys. I had an underground broken water line leaking 40 gallons an hour. I called S & D Plumbing an easily made a non-emergency appointment for the next day. They have great communication from Customer Service to Dispatch to Technician...with both text and email correspondence. After having a reported gas leak in one of our units, the gas company confirmed one appliance was not properly secured (the oven) while another pipe needed to be replaced (furnace). We called S&D plumbing based on their positive reviews.The service was very expensive ($300+ to replace a pipe and tighten a pipe attached to the oven) and they failed to account for the $50 first time customer discount I had requested when I booked based on a coupon they had on their website.Additionally they reviewed our other unit just to be safe and said there were no issues. Not even a week later, we had a gas leak in the second unit (oven) where they gave us the thumbs up. Either they didn't properly check things, or they caused an issue when checking. Thankfully the gas company was willing to fix the issue (for free) after I told them how much I paid S&D the last time I had this issue.I'd recommend finding another company to work with.

We had a great experience using S&D Plumbing for repairing our leaky shower. When I called for an urgent repair, they shifted appointments around to get a technician to our house as quickly as possible. Our technician Dustin was prompt, friendly, and identified the problem with our shower immediately. He clearly explained the issue and even showed me the broken parts that needed to be replaced. We felt he gave us honest and helpful feedback on how to deal with the repair. The repair ended up being more extreme than what S&D could do (involving cutting into the marble shower), but he stopped the leak and didn't charge us for the visit/diagnosis of the problem. I would definitely call S&D plumbing again in the future.

These guys went above and beyond to help us! They were able to locate our leak issues quickly and they spoke with us regarding a repair plan. They believed they were going to be able to repair everything in the same day. The guys arrived around noon on a Friday and worked until 10pm that night to complete the project. S&D did an amazing job on a trenchless replacement of my orangeburgh sewer pipe. Instead of tearing up the entire patio they dug two holes and then forced a pipe through the existing pipe. Raul and Jorge gave me exceptional service! Because the damage was freeze related they took lots of pictures for the insurance claim. They were very polite. Detailed. It was a very difficult install because of the location but they kept at it for 5 hours staying past 9 pm. They did not charge extra for the hours. It is very rare that I write a review for a company. Customer service matters and this company gets it! How rare is it that you call a company and are greeted with How can I make you smile? ? The got me on their schedule quickly and kept me updated on the team's arrival. The team that did the hydro jetting told me upfront what the costs would be. They did great work and did it quickly. Raul at S&D Plumbing went above and beyond my expectations. Removing an old faucet to install a new one proved to be very difficult due to tight quarters but Raul stuck with it and managed to get it done without damaging the existing sink. He even re-caulked and cleaned up every bit of the messy job. Throughout the whole process he was calm, polite and professional. What a pleasant experience!

Professional, yes. Great communication, yes.Unfortunately, I was charged $350 for diagnostic yet they couldn’t find the problem. The leak was so bad that it created a large hole from my second floor to my first floor, there is no question that there is some sort of water leak. Now I have a ceiling that has been pulled apart, no clue where the leak is coming from, and $350 less in my pocket.Update: Charging someone $350 for diagnostics and then not finding the problem is not an acceptable business practice. I ended up finding the leak myself the next day. One of the managers did work with me to get the repair completed without any additional charges.

I had a plumbing issue early in the morning that I could not fix myself. When I called, the receptionist was so polite as she asked “How can I put a smile on your face?” They we’re able to a tech scheduled for the same day, which is extremely important to me as I have a family of four with no working toilets. My plumber called and let me know he could come earlier than my appointment. He did and it was 90 minutes earlier thanks my 12-4 window! He was friendly and professional. We got right down to the problem, his diagnostic, and the cost. Everything was transparent, fair, and great quality. My plumber worked in a huge thunderstorm as he got poured on. He works with a smile, explained everything to me, and cleaned up well. I’m so grateful that I called S&D plumbing!

If you are unfortunate enough to have your toilet break but live in a condo, they will not help you with a replacement. I was told that since there is not direct parking in front of my unit that they won't come out because [their] guy would have to go back and forth to his van too many times. Incredibly disappointed.

I called S&D plumbing out of desperation, due to being out of the water for the last two weeks. I was promised repairs from another plumber. Who informed me today that it was going to be another week or two. Just to locate the parts. I reached out to S&D and spoke with Rhonda at 1130am. Not only did Rhonda say she had the part but she can have a technician out today to replace it. Within four hours the technicians were out and completely replace the hot water heater. Extremely friendly crew. They took no time at all to replace and restore hot water. I would definitely give this company five stars recommend them to anyone who is in need of plumbing service. I had issue with low water pressure with guest shower and called S & D and explain the issue over the phone.1. It was explain the company does not charge any dispatch fee and if no work will be performed than there will be no fee dues. However after the technician arrived it was stated there is diagnose fee of ~$200 which is the cost for their time to come on site?. This is certainly not inline with the phone conversation.2. Technician diagnose by looking at the spout and estimate will cost ~$300 to replace the valve. Explain to technician valve has been check with no issue and technician agree to charge only diagnostic fee if they are not able increase the water pressure. Technician proceed to exchange the shower valve and results is exactly the same as before. Informed newer shower head has slower water flow and need to exchange the flow control which involve with opening the wall and tiles in order to increase the water pressure. Hence I was out with ~$200 and water flow still exactly the same as before. Would be have been better if this was informed at the beginning with no additional charge.

I had a potential small gas leak in a hose to my HVAC. This had me worried but as I called around to find a plumbing company, most were unavailable to schedule for 4 days. When I explained my situation to these good folks, they immediately transferred me to talk with someone to help me evaluate the urgency. They got me in the next morning. The plumber thoroughly evaluated the system but did not find a leak. After all of this, they were not even going to charge me a service call fee. I decided to have them replace the old hoses just to be safe. They did so on the spot. I am so grateful to this whole team for caring enough to slow down in a busy time and really listen, then efficiently and professionally finish the job! From my initial call, to speaking with dispatch, and finally my experience with the plumber…this is a company that knows what customer service is about… and they understand basic human kindness. I highly recommend them.

This plumber was awesome, Garrett was very nice ( not pushy ) and explained exactly how billing worked. Simple game plan- one of two prices. The process was quick , he had the job done in less than two hours. He showed me the defected part, and let me take pictures of the final product before he covered it. Very professional- and a real company man! I will totally call them in the future when needed.

We had a kitchen sink which drained slowly or not at all. S&D (Chris) analyzed it and tried freeing it with water. That didn’t work and they advised us that drilling through the slab was necessary. I had a very positive first experience with S & D Plumbing. I want to compliment both Zoe and Nicole for they manner in which they handled my phone conversations. Both showed great enthusiasm for their job and both were friendly, courteous, and professional and made me feel like I was important to them. I ended up having a new water heater and a new water softener installed and Jason and his assistant Chris were at my house about nine hours, working full throttle the whole time. We had a great experience with our plumbing repair. Grant and Kyle were dispatched to our home to repair an in-slab hot water leak in one of the bathrooms of our home. When they arrived they inspected the bathroom, discussed the course of solution, and provided an estimate for the cost of repairs on the spot. Once we approved the estimate they proceeded to complete the repair. Just out of curiosity I hung around and watched them work. They were happy to let me watch and described what they were doing each step of the way.

Had a copper pipe leak dew to hard freeze. Excellent suggestions on how to prevent problem from recurring.

I called this company out to replace a supply line on my toilet, no more than a 5-10 dollar part and an extremely simply fix. They were there for all of 15-30 minutes, and I was billed $216.78, essentially equivalent to them charging $200/hr for their labor. They are lucky I had cancer at the time, otherwise I would have refused payment. Extremely overpriced, haven't used them since and have told others that if they are looking for a plumber, stay away from S&D. Thanks for taking advantage of a disabled customer!

Our water heater stopped working on a Friday afternoon. We reached out to S&D Plumbing and they were able to schedule us for service the following morning. Chris inspected the water heater and quickly gave us our options: attempt a repair or replace. Since the water heater was 13 years old and living on borrowed time, we opted for a new one. Nick delivered the replacement unit from their warehouse in a timely manner and even though it was his day off, stayed onsite to help with the job. The installation went smoothly, despite some upgrades needed for ventilation, valves, and pipes. Within a couple of hours, we had an upgraded and reliable water heater (with an extra 10 gallons of capacity). We were VERY pleased with the work and service received. Now, if we can only get 13 years of life out of this water heater...

After being without water for five days my wife and I breathed a sigh of relief when Jess & his crew showed up. We had already made reservations to spend the next few days in a hotel. Jess immediately went to work to determine the source of the leak which I thought was in the slab. Thankfully it wasn’t, but instead, the leak was in the wall above the outside faucet. Jess assured my wife and I that he would have our leaking problem corrected within the hour and it was. Excellent service during a break in the sewer line under our house. Very knowledgable and upfront in pricing and scheduling. Involved removing brick, going through 21 inches of concrete , and then tunneling before repairing broken pipe. Very courteous to work with.

This is the second leak our home has had in the past 3 years. We used a different repair company for the first leak and it was a miserable experience that took 6 weeks to get scheduled and repaired. For this leak I contacted S&D Plumbing and it was an amazing experience from the person that took my call up through the repair. The phone representative was very attentive and a pleasure to work with. Her calendar didn't show any openings so she called the head scheduling and they fit us in 36 hours later since it was a major leak. My hot water heater died and I called S&D Friday morning. They had experienced technicians out within the hour. They inspected my unit, we determined it’s too old to invest in a quick fix, and they replaced it the same day! Both Garrett and Noah were super friendly and informative. They answered all my questions, and explained everything thoroughly. So grateful!!!

Overpriced. Charged $328 fee to recommend replacing a tankless water heater we replaced 6 months ago after the freeze. Quoted an additional ~$4K to replace the tankless unit in this 1/1 house. To their credit, the owner did call to justify the the diagnostic fee in response to my email complaint. We do not plan to use S&D again.

Had a toilet that was sliding around. Figured it was a busted flange. Plumber arrived and had me sign a $405. work order to pull the toilet and reset it. Pulled the toilet and confirmed it was the flange. Plumber went outside to text main office and came back in with TWO more proposals, One for $1,785. and the other for $3,885. that one included jack hammering out my floor. I said that's a lot of money and I would have to think about it, he left and left the toilet sitting by my shower. I fixed it myself for $41.05. I said I would like at least a $300 refund because they charged me to reset the toilet. After 6 e mails to the company they just blew me off. I'll never call them again.

Grant arrived promptly as arranged and assessed my garbage disposal. He was honest and straightforward about the issue and gave me a very fair estimate. He also had the replacement part with him do that there was no need to reschedule for another time. The job was completed quickly and the work space was neat and clean when he finished. I will be happy to use their services any time I need a plumber in the future.

Had a company previously tell me I had both a hot water and cold water pipe broken kin my slab with a auto of $6500 to fix. I went with S&D for another test and quote. They feted a leak in my lawn sprinkler system and the ice maker line in back of my refrigerator. This saved me approximately $6000. They were so methodical and totally professional. They showed and explained everything they were doing. I will always use and recommend this company!

From my initial phone call to the actual service call--five stars start to finish. It was easy to make an appointment, although be aware they are an in-demand company, so their days fill quickly.I am not surprised they are in demand, either. I received emails and texts confirming my appointment and reminding me of my appointment, as well as a courtesy in transit phone call from the plumber, Bobby.Bobby was friendly and professional ad arrived an hour earlier than expected, but I was glad of it. He put coverings on his boots before coming into my home, which I appreciated. He examined the plumbing in the cabinet below the kitchen sink, and confirmed that the leak I called about was, indeed, caused by a failing garbage disposal, which would need to be replaced.He went over my options, and then went back to his truck to develop an estimate to replace the disposal and fix the leak. I agreed to the work and sighed electronically, and about an hour later, he was done. He also did a complimentary check of my home's water pressure, hot water heater and, I think, clean out.Overall, I feel the pricing was fair, and I will call them again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Called several companies and was told they could not come out for days. I had a leak in my main water pipe with water pouring out steadily. I could not wait days! These guys are great. They responded quickly to a broken main at my residence on a Saturday. Not only did they fix the main but checked all of the pipes inside as well discovering that a lot of dirt and pebbles had gotten into our pipes. I am in Austin Texas and we had a water pipe burst and my insurance company set me up with S&D Plumbing, they showed up in a reasonable length of time, considering the conditions we are still experiencing here in Texas. They sent two young men who isolated the break and repaired the pipe very quickly. The young guys were very polite and professional. I could not be happier with their work...even more so considering these historic low temperatures.These are the first people I will call if I have further plumbing problems.

Water softener was leaking which replaces whole system with one with life time warranty on the tanks. Also flushed the tankless water heater which requires replumbing. Also got water pressure back up to what it was 5 years ago. Excellent service and the guys worked long hours (approximately 7) but were diligent and did excellent work. Highly recommend.

Melvin Haddix and his assistant called ahead of the visit then arrived on time. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They fixed the pipe blockage outside that was causing gurgling noises in out bathroom.

I don't write many reviews, but our experience was so unsatisfactory it seems important to take the time to do so. We had S&D Plumbing out for a camera run because we were concerned that a backflow in our kitchen meant our ancient cast iron plumbing had finally given out.The very first thing the plumber did, before he even stepped into our house, was try to upsell my husband on some sort of confusing membership service. We regret that we didn't ask him to leave right then.The plumber ran the camera and couldn't see anything. He did a pigtail run and couldn't figure out with that whether there was a blockage or not. He said there was soil on the other end, and concluded our line had collapsed and we needed to replace it, but didn't actually show this soil to us.He then mis-measured our house (off by at least 25 ft) and gave us a truly astronomically high estimate (basically a price that said eff off, we don't want to do this work) for what we already knew to be a very costly service: tunneling and line replacement. He charged us for the (useless) camera run and left us surprised and angry at being treated with this kind of casual contempt.We had another plumbing company out the next week, for what we thought would be a second tunneling and line replacement estimate. But guess what? Our ancient sewer line is completely fine for the time being. It was just a blockage. Capital City Plumbing had the skill, the time and the effort to clear it for us.I recommend all readers AVOID S&D based on this experience.

Friendly, found leak, repaired it quickly. Highly recommend. Previously same company found and repaired a catastrophic leak which was under my foundation. These folks are the best! Use PEX pipes for repairs—a superior product which is less likely to fail and takes less time to install.

S&D scheduled the repair of my burst pipe several days sooner than I expected given the TX freeze disaster. Melvin & Estaban quickly found and made the repair. I got my water back for the first time in 6 days. This is the third larger job that S&D has done for me and they are have went well.

This company is local, professional and honest. I made an appt for Friday to find an outdoor water leak. The admin called Friday afternoon to advise the team was delayed on an existing job, so rescheduled me for Saturday. Grant and Jesus arrived promptly and went to work immediately. Found the problem and fixed it. Wore masks and booties to keep my house clean. Suggested installing a water shutoff valve for next time. Overall very experienced and I highly recommend this company.

Over priced. $512.33 to replace two valves under the kitchen sink. Would have been over $800.00 to also replace the faucet too.
I did have a choice though. Either pay that price or do without until I could locate another company. Next time I’ll wait.

This is my 3rd time using S&D plumbing Jason Radford yet again display outstanding customer service going above and beyond expectations.Came in to fix a controller unit that was no longer working and performed the task in a timely manner with a great conversation and helped me look at additional products for the house well waiting.I’ve used Jason in the past and his level of customer care is the reason I’ll stay with S&D the part came in at 7AM I called S&D they put me on the waiting list but I asked for Jason only it was almost 6 or 7PM by the time Jason reached me. He had a long list and there’s a reason for that. He takes care of his customer if you asked me to wait 11-12 hours again for Jason I would!Anyone who read this review request Jason. One would never be (Disappointed) in the level of care you will receive.

Darius did a fantastic job repairing a water pipe leak/breakage. He was personable and extremely knowledgeable. Price was fair-it wasn’t the cheapest by about $75 but after reading their reviews I thought it best to go with them. I would certainly use them again if needed in the future. I was actually surprised it didn’t cost much more!

I had S&D out to my house to look at a plumbing leak coming from my garage (pre snowstorm). After they pushed the appointment because the technician got caught at another job site, I contacted another company about the leak. The other company came and fixed the leak for over $400 less than S&D quoted me (and S&D's quote was just for the leak investigation, not the plumbing repair, nor the patching of drywall and cement). S&D quoted me $1,400 for the investigation, while the other company did the investigation, repair, and drywall and concrete patching for $988. I then contacted S&D again about a tankless hot water heater (as the company I had just used doesn't offer that work), and accepted the quote and date given by S&D. Again, S&D called because, the technician got stuck at another job site. They tried to reschedule to a weekend more than a week away, after I had just hired someone to stay at my house to wait all day for them to arrive (which they didn't). Exceptionally high prices combined with not keeping appointments. Very frustrating experience, total lack of respect for other peoples time.

Garrett and Nick were great! They did a top-notch job and you could tell they cared deeply about their work. They also kept me up to date throughout the job, and while they gave their advice, didn't try to pressure me into any upselling. Really good work, I'd happily have them out again for future plumbing needs.

Called S&D at 8 a.m. after waking up to half a house full of water. Chris showed up at noon, went over several options at different price levels to fix the issue. He did a great job! I'm glad I stumbled on S&D a few years ago with a much more serious house flood. They always do good work.

Excellent experience. They were able to fit me into their schedule quickly even though it was not an emergency situation. Kyle showed up pretty much right on time, we had a chat about what I needed, he gave me the cost of everything up front, then he got right to work. Did great work and cleaned up after himself.

Overall S & D did a good job on a big plumbing job at our house that was complicated involving cast iron pipes and digging/tunneling and such. There were errors and delays that cost us extra time, luckily our insurance covered most of the cost or it would have also cost us extra money. Costumer services was excellent.

Like many others, had a leak appear following the winter storm. S&D was great to work with from scheduling the work to the repair. Melvin was able to quickly diagnose the issue, develop a plan for the repair and got it done in a couple of hours.

The cold valve on our tankless had started leaking after the recent winter storm we had. Scheduled a appointment, Melvin arrived doubled check the system snd I am very grateful he had the valve kit with him. Melvin and sidekick were great. Chris and Travis arrived on time and were very nice. They checked for a gas leak - luckily I didn’t have one! They also repaired one of our toilets, pretty quickly.

I had a slab leak under my kitchen sink which required the cold water line to the refrigerator be rerouted. I called S & D Plumbing on Thursday. They had a someone over that afternoon to look at the job. It required tapping into the water line in the kitchen ceiling, running a new line down the wall behind the refrigerator and installing a new valve to connect to the refrigerator. They created quite a mess with cut dry wall, insulation, dust, and general scrap. When they left, you could not tell they had been there. Oh, by the way, they showed up in time Monday morning, and the water line repair works fine.

So thankful to S&D for coming same day and fitting right in with our cotractors to get our bath remodel done! I appreciate the quality and the way that they were super knowledgeable about what I needed to get my new shower installed. I had a hot water pipe leak, a slow leak that another plumber was unable to find after doing extensive leak detection. As a previous real estate Broker for 30 years, I’ve used S & D for many clients, always impressed with how knowledgeable and experienced they are when you have serious slab leaks. Instead of jackhammering my slab Melvin found a work around rerouting pipe thru attic, capping off slab line. Saved such a headache. These guys are the real deal, can’t say enough good things about them. Highly recommend

I did have S &D plumbing called on 1/24/2021 to fix clogged toilet.First i was quoted 180 $ to fix that. There plumber spent some time but was unable to fix it.Then i was told we will have to uninstall toilet and fix the clog. He uninstalled the toilet but still was not able fix toilet. no issues with drain.I wad billed 275 basically for a work which did not fix my problem.. it hurts to spend close to 300 and get 0 result.. And then was told to replace toilet for 500.Not recommending to anyone. Over-pricey and not technical enough to complete their job

Replaced parts for my faucet in the tub efficiently and fast. Explained how he could check for additional leaks by looking at my digital meter. Without charge, repaired my pea trap underneath kitchen sink. (I had a competitor repair it twice and it leaked both times. These guys found the additional leak at the sink ( it needed a new gasket). Even looked at my hot water heater.

First time customer. Had evidence of a leak in my kitchen. Technician was friendly and suggested it was prob the dishwasher. While he went back to his truck to get some tools, I took the front off the dishwasher myself and saw the leak. He can't fix dishwashers, so his job was done. So having done nothing but provide the dishwasher suggestion, he hands me a bill for $200. I understand that's what he charges for an hour of work, and his suggestion was right. But charging the full $200 for a suggestion -- not cool. Guess I'll keep looking for a new plumber.

S & D came through HUGE for me on New Year's Eve. Of 5 places we called, they were the only one that could immediately send someone to my house and Dustin was there within a half hour. Our regulator on our gas line had to be replaced. He needed the part from a place that was closing soon and he hustled out and picked up the last one just in time. He came back and fixed it up quickly. My gas company really got in the way of making this a simple fix, and I had to call S and D back to see if Dustin could turn around and come back to my house. They said they would check, and Dustin called me back very fast. He was done working for the day, but said he would come back out as soon as the gas company was there. The customer service was fantastic from start to finish, and Dustin helped keep the heat on and hot water running for my New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. S & D won my business for life today for being there at a very abnormal time of the day and year, and having a professional like Dustin go above and beyond to help out a customer in need.

We had 2 faucets that were improperly installed, though we were unaware of that until S&D identified the problem. The error caused the faucets to allow water thru the faucet when it should have gone to the shower. Thanks to these experts, the problem is gone!

Must be commission base techs. We have a condensate line leak in our attic . The line is exposed, so there must be a crack in the PVC or a leak in a joint. The tech quoted $1200 to remove and replace 10’ of 3/4” PVC. Not today!

He did nothing but read the water meter and ran the washing machine a full cycle to see if there were any leaks.Ive used S&D for larger jobs, but for small jobs I would seek a less pricey pkumber.

Left the appliances - dishwasher and garbage disposal - - unplugged under the kitchen sink. Also, now have a leak under the sink where there was none before they came. Left behind a utility knife and several random nuts - do I save them for when they return to finish repairs or throw them away?? Also left cover of InstaHot water heater off and on the floor of the cabinet under the sink. Basically, left a mess....and got charged $375 for it. Anyone can have a bad day. I hope they do better when they return to finish.

S&D was called to check low water pressure in a bathroom. The diagnosis was calcium build up and need to install new faucets and shower head. For that diagnosis and to replace 1 cartridge, the charge was $363!!!! Seems high to me.
