Austin and Reliant Plumbing were incredible from start to finish. Not only did he resolve our clogged drain quickly and professionally but he also was very friendly and became a favorite guest of my kid and my dog. He was transparent about pricing and explained everything he was going to try and the process he was going to use to diagnose and address the issue. I would hate to have another plumbing issue but knowing you guys are out there to help makes the thought a bit less scary.

We suspected a leak in our water heater. David came by to our place pretty quickly after us reaching out to the company, he gave a quick and thorough look and explained to us what might have been going on, why it may be going on and what we can do to prevent it from happening. He was very pleasant and cheerful to work with and talk to and clearly knew really well what he was looking at. Thanks David! We'd be really happy to utilize your services if anything happens if you're in the area!

Mack was amazing! He diagnosed our problem quickly and was very communicative and helpful as he guided us through what was causing the problem and our options on repairing it. I highly recommend Reliant and Mack, their service, knowledge, and professionalism were stellar!!

I will start by saying this was one of the worst service experiences I have had with any business in any industry. Here's what happened:My toilet was suddenly not flushing well this week. After clearing a few separate clogs with a plunger, I decided there must be a blockage and called Reliant to check it out. They scheduled service the very next day and a tech arrived on time. After running a camera through the sink (not the toilet), the tech informed me that I have valleys in the pipes running under my foundation. He explained these valleys cause standing water that disrupt the proper functioning of the plumbing system, and concluded that this was the most likely root cause of my flushing issue.When I asked if he should also check the toilet before recommending that I let Reliant dig under my house to address the valleys, he briefly acknowledged that I could have him snake ($500) or pull the toilet ($1,200) before explaining that if I didn't address the valleys quickly, the problem would get worse and end up costing me much more.When I asked if he could run the camera through the toilet instead of the sink to determine if snaking or pulling the toilet was necessary, he said the camera could not negotiate the sharp turns inside the toilet drain. He also discouraged the snake option because it's not guaranteed to clear a blockage if there is one. At this point, I decided I was going to either investigate the problem further myself or call another plumber for a second opinion. (My plumbing system has had absolutely no issues in the 6 years that I've lived here and it seemed like something more acute than sagging pipes was probably at play). The tech said that was certainly an option, but insisted he write up a formal estimate before leaving. I agreed, assuming he would quote the snake and toilet removal options. Instead, he provided me an estimate to correct the valleys in the pipes. THE QUOTE WAS FOR $73K!After he left, I pulled the toilet myself and found a pair of my son's eyeglasses lodged in the bottom. I bought a new wax ring from Home Depot ($10) and re-installed the toilet. It now works perfectly. Altogether, the repair cost me $10 and 2 hours of my time, including the trip to Home Depot. I'm certain Reliant could have done it in even less time.I don't doubt that I have valleys in my pipes. And at some point, I may need to address them. However, I think it's absurd that the tech would choose to focus entirely on a $73K solution without exhausting all other possibilities first. I would never trust this company to diagnose another plumbing issue and I strongly advise you to do the same.

Logan and his team did an incredible job replacing both of my water heaters in one afternoon. They were quick, super friendly, and made sure to answer any questions we had about our new equipment. I will definitely be using Reliant for all my plumbing needs

The Reliant office was available on Sunday when I called to make a next day appointment. Mack arrived on time. and diagnosed the issue with professionalism. Ray was very knowledgeable about what was wrong with our sink and immediately knew how to fix it. He came even earlier than the time slot we selected which was great. Highly recommend using their plumbing service

Dion did an incredible job working hard and keeping us updated every step of the way. In times like these you wish to have someone responsible and good at communicating what is going on during the whole process. They changed our pipes from cast iron to pcp. It was a big project and we are super happy with their services. Thank you, Dion and team!!

Ray arrived on time and ready to work. Located the leak in under an hour and had it fixed shortly after. He was professional and efficient. I would hire him and Reliant again in a heartbeat.

I hired this company to help with a leaking shower. I was charged $500 to basically diagnose the issue. He said that he can fix it but it would cost a lot of money and it wouldn't be worth paying him to do it. So he recommended what I should do to fix it myself. When I did what he recommended it did NOT fix the issue because the issue was not what he said. When I hired another company to look at the issue they charged $375 to fix it. So clearly their technician cut corners and overcharge for even misdiagnosing the issue. Unfortunately, I can't really recommend them.

Hired this company to locate a leaky pipe. Ray arrived early, found the leak, and fixed it in just a couple of hours. He cleaned up a d was respectful of our property. I would recommend Ray for any plumbing needs.

Reliant was very professional and great to work with. They performed a difficult undermount sink replacement and were very careful to protect our kitchen countertops and the sink looks beautiful. The second part of the job (plumbing connections) needs to done once the adhesive has set on the sink, but so far it’s been great!

Ray came out and fixed a sink issue for me, when I came out one morning and found water where it wasn't supposed to be. I made a quick call and got offered my choice of times for the next day. They arrived quickly and were in and out real fast having fixed the sink.

We continue to do business with Reliant. They are responsive and professional.
Roman Zakharchuk has come out to our property to assist with different plumbing issues. Always communicative and does the job right.

Mack came within a couple of hours after we called in for service on our water heater. He quickly resolved the problem and made suggestions to improve our current system. I highly recommend him for future service.

Roy serviced my toilet today after having to deal with a bunch of other companies and he totally rocked it! He was so kind and patience with all of my questions. 10/10 recommend Reliant and ask for Roy!

Reliant Plumbing is not transparent about their pricing. When asked multiple times during the scheduling call, what their pricing is for an exterior tankless water heater flushing, the receptionist refused to respond and kept pushing a $89 fee if service is refused. When Jacob showed up, he quoted us $445 for the service when everywhere else the average is $150-$250. While deciding if we should move forward with the service, they went ahead and got started without approval pushing us into completing the service. I would not recommend this service as the pricing is shady and overpriced forcing you into paying their non transparent costs. Go elsewhere.

I had water leaking under ground in my bathroom. I called Reliant plumbing because i saw they put in their ad that they do leak detect and i told them that i need some body come to detect and diagnose the leaking . They said they will do that and charge me $89 for that and will estimate the repair cost, i agreed and they sent the technician to my house . At the very end of the day the technician called me and said he is on the way, i asked him if it’s too late for him to do the work because I believe it will take time to detect the leaks and he said its no problem for him . He showed up at my house and looked at the scene and asked me what happened. After listening to what i told him he showed me the price of $975 for the diagnose , i repeat $975 just for diagnose and he told me if i agree with that he will come back tomorrow to do it because he didn’t have the leak detector with him , another word he came with his bare hands , just give me the unreasonable estimate for diagnose then picked up $89 and left . Reliant Plumbing, you are selling your name for $89. I don’t think it’s worth

We've had a very frustrating bathtub leak for months and we couldn't figure out what the issue was despite having someone else come out and tell us they couldn't figure out the problem. Ray came out, figured out the problem within minutes, and had us fixed up within a couple hours.

Water was pouring onto the floor and I had no way of shutting it off. One of their plumbers took the boss’s truck and came out immediately and fixed the problem. They also repaired a few other things and replaced a defective 40 year old toilet. I am so happy to find a plumber who cares. This is a genuinely local plumber who cares. You can’t beat that.

Dominic was knowledgeable and his customer service and attitude were phenomenal. A truly valuable asset to the Reliant team. Reliant has my future plumbing business because of Dominic’s approach and level of service.

I’ve used Reliant for a variety of residential and commercial jobs over the last five years. They used to be great until recently. The last residential job took two trips and had to be repaired by another company after. I tried to give them another chance with a commercial job but they canceled the appointment less than one hour before start time and couldn’t offer another appointment that works with my schedule for the following day. Still nice people but they over promise and under deliver.

Ray turned up right on time and did a great job figuring out the pressure problem in the house. Definitely recommend, that's Ray!

We used Reliant Plumbing for the first time. The service provided to us was EXCELLENT and VERY PROFESSIONAL. Ray was the technician that came out to our home to assess the problem with our water heater tank. We had a water leak into one of bedroom coming from our water heater tank in the attic around midnight which made us extremely nervous. We called just every plumbing company we could find online to see if we could get emergency service. My wife and I did not get much rest because we were worried about having a major water leak in our attic. We were able to catch the problem early and I used our Wetvac to suck out all of the water at the base pan of the water heater until we can get a technician out. Let’s just say we were waiting for replies from other companies, but I am sure they were busy too. So my wife reached out to Reliant Plumbing which replied and sent Ray out to our home. We did not know much about a water heater tank other than what we researched online. When Ray arrived we asked him a hundred questions and what he recommended to resolve the water leak problem. Ray was extremely paitient and answered all of questions no matter how uninformed we were about water heater tank. Ray’s knowledge and professionalism put us very much at ease because he took his time educating us on the problem. We found out that our water pressure was to high and bounced around the idea with Ray about getting a tankless water heater. We decided to change out our old water heater tank and convert to a tankless water heater tank because made it sound like Best and efficient choice. I would say Ray did not try to sell us on anything, but gave us options and we decided that it was the best investment for our home. Reliant Plumbing is a great company that has great people like Ray goes above and beyond in customer service. We will be getting our tankless water heater installed on Monday if all goes well, so I expect to be sharing another review once the work is done. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND RELIANT PLUMBING!! My mother-in-law hired Reliant to come out and take a look at their toilet that has never flushed well/reliably. She has asked that I write a review on her behalf. “Not only was Reliant able to come out the same day as the call, they didn’t charge us a service charge, and fixed our toilet quickly and easily! I was so satisfied with their service. My service technician was named Bryan. He was awesome”.

Plumber was scheduled on Sunday, but couldn't make it until Monday due to something coming up. Even though they were a day late I paid for the diagnostic. After listening to the plumber tell me how hard the job was going to be I was quoted almost $2000 to fix a cracked drain pipe including the diagnostic. The plumber made me feel like the job was going to be an all day job, and he mentioned that he needed extra help as well. I would never agreed to such an hourly rate. Counting the 2nd person just standing around for the majority of the time the job cost around 500 dollars an hour. I believe this to be kinda pricy for a crew who couldn't cut straight lines.

Roy repaired my water heater. He was very cordial and timely, and it didn't cost me a billion dollars! Definitely recommend!

We had an underground leak in the side yard leading to the house since late September. Called the other guys who came out and in 3 days gave us an estimate. The company wouldn't schedule an appointment for repair after several calls due to needing to get the right plumber for the job .Called and Emailed Reliant Plumbing on Sunday October 9th. I was amazed by the fast response and could book an appointment the next day.Jason texted ahead with a picture and bio. He was prompt and professional with a sense of humor. He explained everything to my satisfaction and got to work right away. He checked in with me throughout the work, even had to go get a part. Jason mentioned other items that we could do. Some I did, some I didn't but will put on the back burner. As light was falling, he was unable to finish the job but insisted he would be back to do early the next morning with another person.8 am the next morning both Jason and Preston got to work. Job is finished and I am a happy camper!I am so pleased that I called Reliant. Each person I worked with was great. The price quoted was what the price really was. The team was fast and diligent and they cleaned up after themselves.I will definitely recommend Reliant Plumbing wholeheartedly

Do not use! They are way overpriced. They charged me over 3x the amount of other places for non emergency services. $1800+ for a $600 job. They also try to oversell you on everything and confuse you with questions that are not too relevant to the job.

Our grinder pump was installed incorrectly, and stopped working about 3 months after we moved into our new build house. I called Reliant, and they had Jason out here in a couple hours, and he was super friendly and professional, and fixed the problem really quickly. I would definitely use Reliant again for any issues in the future.

Mac has been absolutely wonderful. He goes above and beyond to solve problems. Where others have just said it can’t be done, Mac figured out how to do it. He’s installed a new heat pump water heater (Awesome! The only kind you should buy), removed our gas lines, moved the condensate line, moved the dryer box and the fridge line. He’s done excellent work. Kept my home neat and gets it right the first time, no loose ends, you can just check it off your list. Reliant is the only plumber I call now.

Ray was quick and the work has been reliable.

Jason was quick and efficient with getting 3 gas valves replaced. Arrived at around 12:45 and were done by 2:10! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was a high bill ($1000) for work that took about an hour including a trip to buy the valves and we know the valves are a pretty inexpensive part. Otherwise, happy with the service.

Ray did a great job installing our new washer. He was willing to above and beyond to get our dryer unhooked and out of the way to get the job done. I will definitely use Reliant Plumbing Services again.

Mac was excellent and did a super job installing water heater in attic as well as new water softener.

We needed to have our water softener replaced. Plumb Intended responded quickly to my request and was able to provide service in a timely manner. Mike was great and we really appreciate his services.

Our experience with Reliant Plumbing was excellent! We called them about a possible slab leak which we came home to after our Christmas vacation. Jay and Ben got to our house less than 2 hours after that call. The leak was worse than anyone expected and the guys worked hard to find and fix the leak and reroute a water line. Jay and Ben are polite and friendly and their service was great from start to finish!

Ray did an excellent job fixing our plumbing and installing a PRV.

Jason from Reliant came to my house as i was having a lot of water issues. They arrived exactly when they said they would, they were extremely efficient when reviewing the issues and came back with practical options on how to address the issues. What i appreciated a lot was that they explained all of those options in terms that were very easy to understand !!

$125 fee just to drive out to the property we’re under contract with. A miscommunication with the seller resulted in no one being home. A fee for time and expenses is understandable, but this amount is just ridiculous. Absolute rip-off.And no, you did not advise me of the fee because I didn’t book the appointment. My realtor did. So that’s just a lie.

Ray was super efficient in getting the job done same day. However, if it’s not an emergency, shop for better quotes on the service. A break in the main water line ended up being nearly 3k and the price increased almost $1,000 from the initial quote after he began his work. I don’t know if this is common in the industry, but I felt the need to leave a more honest review as everyone else has left 5 star reviews mentioning their technician for the $50 discount. I wish I had spent more time getting quotes before moving forward with Reliant. However, the work was quick and hopefully a long lasting solution.

So I called this morning before 8:00 - Jason came out around 8:30ish and installed a new toilet by 9:57! Excellent work and such a pleasant person! I had two gentlemen, AB and Austin, come out to my condo to look at two bathroom sinks that weren’t draining. AB and Austin were professional, respectful, and informative. Mack initially worked in our plumbing when the hot water valve wouldn’t turn off in one of our showers. He spent almost the entire day at our house working to help us contain the problem without shutting off our water for days. He was super professional, he clearly explained everything, and he was very efficient and upbeat. Also, he was a pleasure to have around all day, all things considered. We have since had him back to fix our sink and disposal, and honestly, I’d be happy if he continued to be our go-to forever. He has take great care of our plumbing. Highly recommend.

Reliant Plumbing was super responsive and came out the day that my pipe burst, even though it was a Sunday. Ray was professional and walked us through the issue and the associated costs and allowed us time to analyze the best method going forward.

Ray rebuilt grinder pump, was knowledgeable, polite and quick. He kept me updated as to what he was doing and how much repairs would cost. Would definitely recommend anyone call Reliant Plumbing for their plumbing needs.

Mack rang the doorbell at exactly 8am when he was scheduled to arrive between 8-10am. He was super polite, put on a mask when he saw I had one on, and got to work immediately and had our sink and dishwasher drained and unclogged within ten minutes. 10/10 service, will be calling Reliant again when something goes wrong.

I had just listed my house and had showings beginning at 2 pm when I noticed a leak in my master bathroom sink at 7:30 that morning. I was devastated, and called so many plumbers. The good: they fixed the plumbing issue we had in the bathroom.The bad: the fix they propose to resolve the leak issue with the drinking water faucet was to replace the filtering system. They gave me a quote of over $1k. I said no. I replaced the faucet myself and that fixed it. And it costed me $40. The scheme felt intentional because they hardly spent time diagnosing.

John came out and did a fantastic job helping diagnose a gas leak with my dryer. Booking was fast and easy. I was notified when he was on his way. Now I have peace of mind. Would definitely use Reliant again and hope they’ll send John out. Thank you so much, John and Reliant!

I picked reliant based on this promise to replace a fully functioning (but very old) water heater. $3k seems very steep for a residential w. heater but whatever I feel good about the guarantee. Within 18mo it's dead, reliant wants $85 just to come look at it and give a repair quote.Picked another plumber out of frustration and turns out there's a recall on the gas valve for this unit, something I would expect reliant to be aware of?2 stars because the job itself was fine but the entire reason I picked reliant was based off of the false promise of being a customer-first org. And browsing these reviews it sounds like they're also paying people for 5 stars. Ick. I would try a smaller operation if I were you.

Scheduling the appointment was fast and easy. Ray arrived on time and was able to perform the work quickly and professionally. He described the work and gave me an estimate before starting.

I have a slab leak and had another plumber come to take a look. After 3 hours and $450 he could only say it did look like a leak, which I already knew. Asa, from Reliant, came the next day and diagnosed the problem within a few minutes and gave me repair options. It was nice to have someone that knew what he was talking about.

We had a strong smell of gas in our garage last night after enjoying our day at the lake. We called reliant to have someone come out and meet with us because the gas company said the gas was coming from our hot water heater. Ray came out first thing this morning and was very thorough at explaining everything that needed to be fixed and why there was gas coming from the heater. He was able to explain the way in a way that I (someone who knows nothing about plumbing) was able to understand. I am currently renting, but really hope my landlord continues to use Reliant. When I purchase my own house I will absolutely be calling them to fix any future issues with plumbing.

We had Ray come out and check out shower after finding a leak. Fortunately or unfortunately, we couldn’t recreate the issue, but Ray talked us through all the options we had moving forward, and didn’t push us towards more expensive options.

They charge an $89 fee to come give you an estimate (which is unusual, but that's their right). But the concerning part is they offered to not charge me if I give them a positive review right there while they watched. That's not just shady, it's actually illegal and they can be fined for that by the FTC. So unfortunately you can't trust their reviews. I paid the $89 fee just so I could leave an honest review.

I was forced to give a review on the spot in order to get a $25 discount before even knowing if the work was good. I feel sick to my stomach with the amount they charged me for just unclogging a pipe. It was not a pleasure and I will not be using this company again.

Reliant is as their name says. We had a considerable leak in our hose after the great freeze. The water was beginning to seep into the foundation and flood our basement. Called multiple plumbers, either they couldn’t get to it anytime soon or they were giving steep estimates. I finally reached reliant and they sent Ray out immediately. Ray was provided exceptional service. He was straight forward, quiet, left signs of work, and finished in no time at all. I couldn’t believe it as I thought it was going to be a much larger issue. I can’t recommend Ray and Reliant enough! Will definitely call them when next years winter comes.

Really disappointed with the carelessness of this company. Not only did they fail to complete the work we paid for, the work they did do was shoddy. They installed our water heater and left it leaking, and broke a piece off and threw it in the trash without telling us. We also paid for our water hookup for our kitchen sink and returned to find the work not done. I've called three times to speak with someone about it, and each time they've said they'd call me back and haven't. It's very frustrating to be treated so poorly. Do not recommend.

We called Reliant Plumbing because we had a leaky water line behind our fridge. The technicians came out, looked at the line for 5 seconds, then told us we could either fix it ourselves, or they could charge us $489 to fix it. They assured us it would be an easy fix, which begs the question--why should it cost $489 for them to fix it? They then clarified that $489 is the MINIMUM they charge for any service.Then they told us they would waive the $89 service charge if we gave them a 5 star review, while they looked on, practically dictating what we should write.So. That explains the their good reviews. They get them through extortion, not good service.Our technicians were perfectly professional and I'm sure they are competent plumbers, however I will NEVER call Reliant Plumbing again, and you should look elsewhere if you're looking for honest, reasonable plumbers.

I have been using these guys since I moved in about 5 years ago. We have an old house with lots of outdated plumbing and fixtures. They are always able to find a workaround and keep everything up and running. They have fixed my water heater, toilet and garbage disposal perfectly. My technician for the last 2 jobs has been Jason, and he is always on time, courteous and professional. I wouldn’t use another plumbing service in Austin.

My conscious would not let me hang onto the fact that I gave this company a five star review in exchange for waiving the estimate fee.I chose not to go with this company because the estimate was excessive considering I had purchased the water heater and additional parts in case need. Tech told me to contact office and speak to a supervisor about estimate being broken out as to what I was paying for. Supervisor didn’t want to speak to me, but relayed message thru receptionist that the price given was it. Website has sample cost estimate broken down in 3 categories but they would not do it for potential customer onsite when asked. Tech stood over me to make sure I provided 5 star review. I’m a DIY person so I applied for permit and got a a friend with muscle and replaced it myself and it passed inspection.With the pandemic, price markups I can respect. Price gouging or thinking women homeowner are pushovers is unacceptable.

Had a leak under the master bathroom faucet. They came out and tightened the connection to the shutoff valve but didn't see any other leaking and left. When an hour later there was water under the sink again I called and they came back that afternoon. They replaced the shutoff valve and supply line. Work seems good but the price seemed really steep, and after checking customary prices online after the fact it seems it should have been about half what I paid.

Mack was a nice guy, but the cost was above our price rage. He was nice enough to waive the visit feel though.

Dustin Raymond was our technichian who came to resolve a plumbing issue. Was quite knowledgable and provided excellent service and also helped us resolve an issue we were not aware of. Good Work and proffessional.

Had a bad leak in the house in the hot water line, it was coming up through the slab. After located the company I used to locate it couldn't come out till July 9th. I called Reliant at 4:45pm and by 5:30pm on a Friday I had a tech (Jason Heck) here to discuss options. Within 10 minutes he had a plan, we agreed on a price and he said he could come back tomorrow (Saturday) to complete the job. He and his helper, Ethan, came out on Saturday morning and rerouted the broken slab leaking hot water line from the water heater in the garage to the 2nd story attack, clear across the side of the house and down to the 1st floor bathroom. The job was very labor intensive, but they did it was professionalism and care. The only work I have to do now is repair some small sheetrock holes that he had to cut to route the PEX piping around the house. Hot water is back, less than 24 hours from the call and the leak is gone. Highly recommend Jason Heck and Reliant.
