Best Pipe Leak in Austin TX

I don't write many reviews, but our experience was so unsatisfactory it seems important to take the time to do so. We had S&D Plumbing out for a camera run because we were concerned that a backflow in our kitchen meant our ancient cast iron plumbing had finally given out.The very first thing the plumber did, before he even stepped into our house, was try to upsell my husband on some sort of confusing membership service. We regret that we didn't ask him to leave right then.The plumber ran the camera and couldn't see anything. He did a pigtail run and couldn't figure out with that whether there was a blockage or not. He said there was soil on the other end, and concluded our line had collapsed and we needed to replace it, but didn't actually show this soil to us.He then mis-measured our house (off by at least 25 ft) and gave us a truly astronomically high estimate (basically a price that said eff off, we don't want to do this work) for what we already knew to be a very costly service: tunneling and line replacement. He charged us for the (useless) camera run and left us surprised and angry at being treated with this kind of casual contempt.We had another plumbing company out the next week, for what we thought would be a second tunneling and line replacement estimate. But guess what? Our ancient sewer line is completely fine for the time being. It was just a blockage. Capital City Plumbing had the skill, the time and the effort to clear it for us.I recommend all readers AVOID S&D based on this experience.

1pm today at the round rock dairy queen, trying to exit the parking lot......a Clark Kent van (MTX-2924) was parked where cars exit the area with several ACTUAL parking spots empty.....I hope he can perform plumbing repairs better than he can park.....

Second time I’ve used these guys for a difficult plumbing situation, and both times they have answered the call faster and with more professionalism than any other plumber I have ever used in 30 years of home ownership. I’m just going to lose everyone else’s number. These guys are great.

Capital City is super competitively priced! I got estimates that were so much higher. And they don’t skimp on quality or customer service. They were fast, friendly, and professional. Extremely Unreliable! They were called yesterday to come out to our house because neither of our toilets will flush. They said they were booked up but could come out between 10-12 today. I mean that’s not ideal, but I get it and it is what it is, so we stayed at a friends house last night so we could have working plumbing. Today, we waited until 12:30 and nobody showed up so we decided to call, and they say they are backed up and will get to our house in a few hours. Waited until 4:00 and called again and they said they were still coming but it would be later. They then call back to say they were no longer coming and would reschedule for tomorrow. We have NO working toilets in our house right now and have waited all day for them to come. Now it’s 4:30 on a Sunday and we’re having to scramble to try to find someone else to come out tonight. How can you make appointments, then 4 hours after the appointment time tell the person you are just not showing up...when they have no working toilets in their house and have literally waited all day for you to come. Absolutely unprofessional and unreliable.

Had toilet tank repaired. Technician was very courteous and professional. He explained the problem and replaced the needed tank part very fast.

They sent someone out as fast as promised, and our tech, Eric, was very helpful. Even when he had to dig with a shovel to find the buried clean-out pipe the previous homeowners covered over with groundcloth! He was professional, friendly, and explained what was going on every step of the way, with advice on how to avoid future problems of the same sort. Highly recommended.

Very impressed with Plumb Masters. They responded quickly even on a Saturday. Mark and Andrew are real professionals. They fixed our water leak right away even though the layout of the plumbing system presented multiple obstacles. They also provided several options for improvements that would prevent future problems. And their pricing is quite reasonable. I would highly recommend Plumb Masters.

I worked with 1st Home & Commercial Services to do inspections on my home prior to purchasing it, and it was a no brainer that I wanted to hire them to fully replace my HVAC and disposal. Communication with Axel has been seamless throughout the whole process, and the HVAC install was yesterday—everything went smoothly! Darius, Michael, Branden, Olen and Westin came out for install of the HVAC and disposal yesterday, and they were super courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable. I will call 1st Home & Commercial from here on out for anything I need in the future!

So impressed with AAA Auger. Paul Schultz was so friendly and thorough. He fixed the plumbing issue I was having and then gave advice on what to do with other items he thought might be future issues. Kind, helpful and great customer service. Scheduling was also very helpful and sent someone quickly to resolve the issues. Highly recommend!
