Best Pipe Leak in Austin TX

Daniel Moreno was visiting a neighbor but was kind enough to hear my complaint in passing about another AC company that said that I needed an entirely new system ($10,000 worth) even though my house was just built 5-6years ago. He came into my home, checked a couple of things, hosed off my outdoor unit, and was able to give me some useful advise - all without an appointment. I thought that said a lot about his and Abacus. I also notice that they specialized in the brand of HVAC system that was in my home. He gave me his card in case my unit continued to act up. About a week later, I called and Abacus sent me Frank. Frank taught me a few things about my unit, and diagnosed it with a part that was $1500.00 instead, which of course, I was happy to pay since it was no where near the $10K assessment someone else gave me. Frank was unable to fix it that day since the part was on order. In a few days, they sent me Shane. Shane was able to teach me a bit more about my unit and installed the part for me. The unit started functioning and testing exactly how it was supposed to. I really appreciated them listening to my entire story, asking great follow up questions, and actually solving the problem instead of giving me no options besides replacing the entire HVAC system. Couldn’t recommend Efficient Air enough! Our upstairs ac unit decided to give out one night and we were able to have someone look at it the next day. Ernest seemed to be very thorough when he was diagnosing the issue. He was kind enough to explain the problem to us in detail, so we could understand why the unit gave out. I’m very greatful to be able to find an HVAC company we trust to repair our unit before the start of a Texas summer.

Jason was on time, communicated with us before he arrived, made the repair within 15 minutes, and was extremely courteous and kind while he did it. I couldn’t recommend Fox more highly and I’ll be sure to use them again when it’s time to get the water heater replaced in a few years.

Our furnace stopped working on Sunday morning and I called Turbo and they were out the same day to take a look at the problem. Jay explained the problem thoroughly and offered to try and find parts for our ancient furnace without trying to sell us on a new one. Replacing was the way to go for us, however, and Turbo was able to bring and install a new one the next day. We were very impressed with the speed of their service and the price was reasonable. They cleaned up the work site afterwards, were polite and communicated everything well. If I had to ask for one improvement, it would be stricter Covid protocols, as I had to ask a few guys to wear masks in the house. Otherwise, great service and we would be happy to use Turbo again.

One-day turn around after ordering. Only issue was the salesman didn’t measure the closet space and the initial unit wouldn’t fit, so the technicians had to get a different sized unit.
