Nick arrived put booties on his feet and went to work right away to diagnose our issue. Turned out to be something super minor which we were thankful for. Would definitely call again.

This is my second review on Clarke-Kent and they have been outstanding as before. Jeremy Rotramel replaced the Gas Control Valve for my water heater, and did an outstanding job as before. His advice is candid, helpful and practical. Thank you Jeremy for your continued help !!And I really hope Clarke-Kent can start some form of home warranty/maintenance plan that will benefit the larger Austin community..thanks.

Thought the process was going to be long and drawn out, but a tech named Ivan came over and got the job done quick and thoroughly. Will definitely go through him again if I run into problems in the future ??

Matt F. came out today (the day before Easter) only a couple of hours after I called Radiant about all the drains backing up in our home. We have never had a better experience from the super friendly receptionist, to the office folks keeping us posted as to when Matt was going to get here, and then from Matt directly. He was so incredibly nice and made sure that we knew that our needs were his top priority. He got our main home line unplugged so that we can get through Easter comfortably and scheduled a follow up appointment for Monday morning so they can bring additional equipment to try and figure out why the lines backed up in the first place. These folks feel like we are talking to family. Even though we called them initially because of their unforgettable commercials, we couldn’t be more happy with how we were treated. They are very professional, have a professional website that was easy to maneuver and the people were amazing. I’m a fan!

A&T Plumbing to the rescue! We've used these guys multiple times over several years and they've never let us down. They showed up on time, fixed a really tough problem with our kitchen sink, and did it with a smile. A&T is rock solid and I'll always go with them when I need plumbing help. Thank you again from our family!

I'll keep this short and sweet: I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Rooter over all other plumbers in Austin. I know that sounds like crazily high praise, but if you worked with them, you'd understand. Their prices are reasonable, they offer highly professional service, and get things done real quick. I give them a big thumbs-up.

We hired Capital City as part of a refresh on our house before putting it up for sale. We gave Jeff Bogus a list, he bid it, and we approved the work. He then took the liberty of adding on to his scope of work, and got snippy when we told him that wasn't in his bid - that it was on other vendor's work list. We questioned his bill, and endured some of his psuedo-legal bickering. Ultimately we paid his price and moved on - it wasn't worth the trouble. HOWEVER, a month later, we got a $1000 water bill. We asked Jeff to come out and check his work. He refused, saying that since we argued over the original bill, that removes (us from) additional work and warranty. As a recovering attorney, I always find this psuedo-legal babble entertaining. What isn't so entertaining is a plumber that's hard to deal with on the front end, and won't help on the back end when there's a problem. Caveat Emptor.

Roto Rooter was great primarily because of their flexibility and availability. They were able to come do a same day repair which was awesome! The phone scheduling women was very kind and friendly and the plumber dispatched, Larry, was also very nice. My only issue is with the pricing. The initial visit fee is fair but you basically tie yourself into their high prices. Just over $500 for getting a shower faucet cartridge replaced. They don’t charge by the hour just standard rates for different jobs which they won’t disclosure until you have paid the service call fee to get someone out to you. Had I known the steep prices I would have gone with a local independent handyman. With a quick google search I was able to see I overpaid for a job that should have been Max $300.

Jeff came to our house on time for a tankless water heater quote and explained everything very clearly. On the day of installation, Jeff and Ted did everything perfectly. Jeff is also very responsive for follow up questions. So far I am a happy customer.

Very friendly and fast but both leaks they fixed had to be refixed. This took more time, more huge water bill, and more inconvenience of having no water at the house. Very high price after initial lower quote. We ended up having to trench the yard ourselves to physically find the problem. Plumbers aren't diggers! We learned all this the hard way and are grateful they refixed their work but have a hard time trusting it now.

Plumb Masters is the best experience I've ever had with plumbing work in my life by a long shot. For starters, their pricing was far, far better than anyone else for basic cleaning and diagnostic work.Jay, the plumber who came out to service my house, was incredible. He did a fantastic job assessing both my sewage system as well as my hot water heater. I recently had another, larger, plumbing company out to my house and they were unable to clear my system and very quickly opted to write up a quote to fix my system for tens of thousands of dollars. Jay fixed the issue in a matter of minutes. He then spent a ton of time explaining specifically what had been wrong with my system and how he had proven beyond a reasonable doubt that it was in complete working order and not in need to a pricey fix. He didn't try to sell me or up-charge me on anything that I didn't need.If you want an honest plumber that does a great job, turn to Jay and the folks at Plumb Masters. You won't regret it.

Moore and More Plumbing was called out yesterday to provide estimate for replacing flange at toilet connection and very politely proposed a ridiculously aggressive estimate of $968. When told that the estimate was out of line for a 1.5 hour service with virtually no materials involved, they promptly lowered the estimate by $200. When told that the lowered estimate was still considerably more than their competitors charge for the same service, their plumber became indignant and stated that he would not accept criticism. Okay. The job was performed excellently by another company this morning for $477. I would never call this company again, nor would I ever refer them to anyone. Well worth the $89 service call fee simply to know how this company seeks to do business.

If you somehow stumbled upon Johnny Rooter Plumbing while searching online for a plumber in the Austin area, consider yourself fortunate. You never need to find a different plumber again as long as you don't move.Do they show up on time? Yes. Do they fix the problem? Yes. Do they even provide solutions to the problem you have that are superior and cheaper than what the other companies quoted? Yes.When someone referred Johnny Rooter to us, they were listed in their phone as, Zach is a great plumber. I have kept that description in my contacts, since it is true.
