I used to cringe at the thought of calling a plumber because I assumed they're all too expensive. I instead used a neighborhood handyman to do my plumbing work. Big mistake! The Rooterman plumber walked me through the work he was doing and explained how the previous work (done by the handyman) was incorrectly done. Hot water hose was connected to the cold and vice versa. The Rooterman was super transparent about the cost of each item and repair and was able to show me the estimate in real time. I highly recommend Rooterman and have learned a valuable lesson. Let plumbers do plumbing work.

Hello All,The Plumber who arrived at my apt was knowledge and friendly. However if you're doing an insurance and or a home warranty claim I would avoid this Plumber at all costs.This is due to what appears to be predatory Bussiness practices, or a gross negligence of their billing practicesI submitted a call to Daniels Plumbing on Friday Dec 23rd. I was able to confirm an appointment with them for service on Monday Dec 25th. I was calling due to pipes bursting in my bathroom.I was sadly disappointed on Monday when they informed me they were overbooked with emergencies and canceled my appointment and rebooked me for Thursday. I understood there were a lot of emergencies that were probably more urgent then my water that I stopped leaking, so I had little concern this with.However my issue came up once they arrived at my condo for the repair. They provided a 2k estimate, and I shared at that time that I wanted to provide it to my insurance, and Home warranty for review prior to paying.After submitting it too travelers(Insurance), and Old republic(Home Warranty). Both of them requested itemized estimates explaining the labor and part costs.Daniel has been unable to provide this after 3 days of consistent calls, when contacting their scheduling team one agent was able to contact a manager and insisted a GM or customer care manager would contact me. Another agent told me there was nothing they could do.The root concerns from my Insurance and the home warranties is prices that cannot be justified, and that seems to be the case with Daniel being unable to provide a breakdown of the charges for parts and or labor.Dear Daniel management team, You should have multiple notes with contact information for my Home Warranty, and my insurance and their requests.If not please feel free to contact me and hopefully we can resolve this in a timely manner.

Austin had just suffered its worst snow storm in decades, our tenant thought she had a broken pipe. She was stuck with no water and other companies were telling us they were booked months out due to the issues created by the weather crisis. L&P Plumbing responded same day, squeezing us in between appointments. Fabian was able to assess the damage and get the water on for our tenant as a complimentary service. What a stand up company! I love Fast Plumbing!! I have called them several times the past few years. Eric has cleaned out drains, repaired a toilet, leaky faucets in and outside, and installed a water heater in our attic!! Yesterday Jose came and efficiently installed a new garbage disposal! But first he removed a huge rat from under a dish washer my husband and I, (grandparents), could not remove!! Jose exceeded our expectations!! Also Melissa and Diana were most gracious, friendly and helpful on the phone!! If you need a plumber, call Fast Plumbing!!!

Worst plumbing experience in 15 years living in Austin. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was booked via HomeAdvisor to come to my house between 15:00-18:00 on 07/06/19 to fix a small bathroom facet leak. At that time on 07/06/19 Fred called and let me know that they were stuck on a job with another customer with no water. I agreed to postpone their visit for a week since the existing customer’s need was greater than mine. Fred stated that in appreciation of my understanding he would reduce the callout fee to $59. This meant the costs of the job would be $59 plus parts which were a replacement putty plate for a Delta faucet (a standard item that costs a few bucks). The new appointment was set for 08:00 on 07/13/19. At 08:20 Benjamin Franklin Plumbing called me to check that I was home. I pointed out that their plumber was 20 minutes late and was told that they do not even dispatch a plumber (despite an appointment having been made) until they confirm the home owner is at home. After 09:00 the plumber arrived (with no parts), sat on the edge of our bathtub for 20 minutes complaining about getting his computer to work, not even looking at the job itself, then stated that the cost of the job would be $646 to rebuild the faucet. This price included $152 to go collect the part that he hadn’t brought with him. Needless to say I was absolutely disgusted by this behavior. Not only did the plumber not inspect the required work in any meaningful way but trying to charge us $646 for a job that should have taken 20 minutes and which Benjamin Franklin Plumbing had already stated should have costed less than $65 was totally and utterly unacceptable. I therefore asked him to leave, logged on to YouTube, figured out how to perform this simple operation myself, collected the part from a local store, and completed the work. What trade organizations need to realize is that in an age of easy access to information on how to do their jobs, their only differentiators are their integrity and their customer service. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing possess neither. My recommendation is to avoid this company at all costs.

Paul was amazing! He saved our lives weekend . We woke up to a gas leak and within minutes Paul was fast and polite. I couldn’t believe how quick he came to our house. It was about ten minutes from my call. Paul was incredibly professional and kind. I highly recommend.
