Hello I am the Facilities Chair for a small Lutheran Church. Earlier this year we hired Lyon’s Roofing to Seal and Foam our Churches 20 year old roof. We had some bad leaks and the roof was stained in multiple locations on the ceiling below.

Project manager Julie Moore got on the roof, surveyed the condition and submitted and easy to read bid that not only included pictures of the areas they were going to service, but also an easy to read breakdown of the costs.

Of the 4 bids that we received Lyons was the most professional, easy to read, and priced competitively. We chose Lyons for the job.

We even had them return a month later to fix issues we had with 2 modular buildings that had roof leaks for years. Julie got on the roof again and came up with a solution that fixed the problem for only $300/ building. I was impressed.

Over all I am completely satisfied with the professionalism, product, and service that Lyons provided. I would highly recommend them to every one.

Cons:
The estimator was 4 hours late.
The paper estimate didn't come until I harassed them for a copy.
The repair was rescheduled twice. (Emergencies kept bumping my appointment even though I was scheduled?)
The repair guys laid in the middle of my driveway while they waited for more parts to be delivered.
There wasn't any communication at all from the business's end. I only found out of the rescheduling, payment options, estimate copies, etc because I called each time. (No proactive measures were taken)
I was talking to my S/O and used the phrase I feel like I'm begging them to take my money & do the work...

Pros:
The price. They came in well under-budget and blew away four other estimates, once by well over a grand.
The repairs were done quickly and efficiently.
Invoice/payment was all online and simple to complete.
Electronic/PDF documents (estimate and receipt) via email.
I assume that the quality is pretty good (there are no more birds on my roof, there aren't any leaks and the plywood looks new).
No dust, debris or mess was left - it was all cleaned up as promised.

Overall:
If you have the time and energy to be your own advocate with this company, I say go for it. If you're out of town or unable to manage the procedural aspect that will be required of you to actually start the process, I'd recommend checking a few other places out.

Sarah came and reviewed the estimate from our Insurance co. and confirmed to go ahead with the replacement of our roof due to storm damage. She was very professional and a joy to have in our home.

They were amazing. I had heard alot about the storm chasers that came to arizona so I wanted to wait awhile and let the chaos settle after the hail storm to do my roof. From the start the customer service was amazing. Alicia set up my estimate and explained to me the process so I knew what to expect. The estimator came out did exactly what Alicia said he would do and they emailed me the estimate later that day. When the crew came to do the work they knocked on the door to let me know they were there... The workers were all very nice! They cleaned up very nicely and my yard looked the way it did before they came. I was so happy with this company.. I would highly recommend them to everyone! I have worked with Castile Roofing twice. Both times required me to provide oversight. When the incorrect color was installed, I had to call and they replaced the roof. When they left my bare roof uncovered during a rainstorm, I had to call for them to put up a tarp. When the interior of my house was damaged from the rain, I had to demand that they help.

They have now made efforts to get me squared away. The new roof looks good and hopefully every thing works out.

Patterson Roofing replaced the roof on my 20 year old house. The bid was competitive, the work was done quickly and the property was left spotless. I am very happy to give them my unqualified recommendation.

The most dishonest and unprofessional company... Don't even think about working with them. They ruined our roof, we had to hire experts to file a complaint. They are thieves. We had to rip out everything they did and redo the entire roof, it cost us double. Do yourselves a huge favor.. run a way.

After we made the painful decision to replace our existing metal roof, my husband an I wanted to hire a roofing company that only constructed metal roofs—experts in the field. We are pleased with our decision to have Vertex Metal Roofing do the job for us.

The company’s professionalism was first evident in the analysis by Korbyn Brock of our previous roof’s problems. Then his subsequent presentation of Vertex standing seam products and installation methods helped convince us that those problems would not occur in the future. No question went unanswered.

The cost of the job was expensive and took 5 weeks to complete. Not a criticism…just a fact. We have a hip roof with nearly 7000 square feet of metal between the roof and soffit panels. That’s why choosing the right company is so important. Metal will last a lifetime. But the roof can fail if not designed and installed properly. Accessibility and communication are also key. After the job started Korbyn stayed in touch as did the head foreman, Jim Conway. But the main communication was taken over by Marco Cobos, the site foreman. I can’t praise him highly enough. He calmly and consistently responded to any questions or concerns during the job. If we didn’t like something, then he fixed it or did it over until we were satisfied. He worked hands on with his great crew.

Then, the week after the job was completed we were blessed with a light rain that revealed seams on two gutters that were dripping and holding water. Upon communicating this to the head foreman, Jim(who responded within minutes), we were assured the problem would be resolved. Jim came out personally to assess the situation and the following week Marco came out personally to redo the seams on those gutters. He also checked every seam on EVERY gutter around the house. To me, that’s a sign of a truly reputable company—one that doesn’t make excuses for a problem but apologizes, takes responsibility and then makes it right.

Needless to say we would recommend Vertex to anyone interested in purchasing a metal roof. Their performance has made us confident that this will be the last roof we’ll ever need.
