Vertex Roofing

It rained last night. First time in a while I haven't worried about our shingles. I won't be worrying about shingles flipping over or flying off the roof again. Our new steel roof looks amazing, a completely different house. We went with the stone white, noticed a 3-5degree inside lower temperature immediately. We run evap most of the summer, so any change is noticeable.

The crew that did our install was great. They worked well together, addressed our concerns, were respectful of the property and overall were on top of the issues that came up. It took about a week from tear off to wrapping the facia. I feel for these guys being out there even in September in Arizona, I couldn't do it. Can't say enough good things about them.

We have another property that will be getting a Vertex roof in the future. I am very happy with our choice to go with Vertex and this roof product.

We have a Dutch Colonial home designed by an architect back east and complicated additional structures including detached garage, breezeway, and unique pavilion with a complicated steep pitched roof. After 20 years of a deteriorating concrete shingle roof, and a poorly done metal roofing job done by our original roofer, we decided to get a new lifetime metal roof on all our structures. We had a long wait to get the job done but it was worth it. We did not want to trust someone who claimed to do metal roofs. They are not the least expensive but if you want the job done right it is not worth cutting corners on price. It took Vertex 2 months to do our job. Their employees were courteous, and cleaned up every night. We got to know the crew and enjoyed having them around. They are professionals and they know how to do metal roofs. Don’t take a chance with roofers who say they do metal roofs. I do not hesitate to recommend them for your job no matter how small, large or complicated. They will do it right. Their salesman Craig Sorenson worked with us every step of the way and helped us with samples, ideas and metal products that helped us to get the beautiful look we wanted to compliment and enhance the look of our home.

Vertex roofing (Phoenix) did the metal roof installation for our home. The representative drove down to Tucson and patiently detailed the complete process for the metal roof installation and why it would be our last. Due to COVID and a custom color choice for the metal, our wait time to start the project was several months. However once the crew arrived the process went quickly and the team was extremely efficient, professional and courteous throughout the timespan needed to remove the existing mission tile and custom fit the new metal roof. I highly recommend Vertex.

Vertex installed a metal roof on our cabin in northern Arizona. We previously had an asphalt shingle roof and wanted to upgrade. Research and the Vertex presentation convinced us a Vertex metal roof was the way to go.

The entire experience was positive and met or exceeded our expectations on every level. We were very impressed by the installation crew's work ethic and quality workmanship. They were all so respectful and conscientious of our property throughout the job.

We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

If you are looking for a metal roof these are the guys - this is ALL they do. Had a great experience with the salesman Alex, field rep Jim and office staff Lori. Our roof was in bad shape and while Vertex couldn't get to our house immediately, they did tarp our roof pending the install. The crew removed the old shingle roof and did a great clean-up job. The metal roof was installed professionally and long before promised. Our home looks better, has increased in value and we couldn't be happier!

I've had nothing but the best experience with Vertex Roofing from start to finish. I was interested in getting my house re-roofed with a metal roof so I submitted a request through Home Advisor as well as called several roofing companies in the area. Shortly after submitting a request, I got a friendly yet professional call from Vertex who helped answer questions and set up an appointment for an estimate. I was very impressed with Alex from Vertex who came out to walk the property and discuss the details of size/cost, etc. He gave a thorough presentation of the product and answered a ton of questions I had. I was highly impressed. After our initial appointment, I decided to have other roofing companies come provide their estimates for a comparison. I was quickly faced with impatience, unprofessionalism, and incorrect quotes/estimates from every other company that came out. After some time and thought, I decided to hire Vertex to take on the job. Alex helped work through some modifications to the initial contract and was always quick to respond to questions, etc. Fast forward 6 months to install time, I got to coordinate installation with Jim who was very responsive and informative. On the first day of install, I got to meet the foreman Robert and his crew who were super friendly and personable. I could immediately sense their level of professionalism and etiquette. They were careful to protect all of the equipment (AC unit, pool, deck, heater, etc.) prior to getting up on the roof. After delivering the roofing material, I noticed that the metal panels were not the agreed upon size on the contract agreement. I mentioned it to Robert and he immediately reached out to Jim. Jim personally called me to sincerely apologize for his error on ordering the wrong size panel.
I truly respected his honesty and his determination to make it right. He did everything he could and somehow worked his magic. He made some calls and was able to expedite delivery of the correct material the next day! The crew worked quickly but thoroughly. Each day I came home from work, Robert and the crew would give me brief updates and were happy to take a look at some problem areas such as a rotted fascia board I noticed. Robert took this on and made the repair promptly. When the job was complete, Robert gave me a quick tour up on the roof and chatted about maintenance advice, etc. The crew cleaned everything very thoroughly including any loose nails or screws that fell. Overall, I was highly impressed with Vertex and the beautiful new roof that I have. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them in the future!

We wanted to replace our 45 year old tile roof with a metal roof for improved appearance and longevity. The team from Vertex did a wonderful job educating us on the materials and options, and then gave us a fair price, too. Installation went well, except that it rained for almost two solid weeks midway through the job. Any sign of trouble during the rains and the crew was there to address it day or night. The house looks great and we’ve seen energy bills go down, too. Can’t recommend these folks enough! (I waited to review until after a good long rain storm—almost 9 months later. No leaks!!!)

Korbyn was the salesman I dealt with, he explained the entire process, timing of the work and payment schedule. Once the date was scheduled for the roof to be installed things went very quickly. The crew was pleasant, polite, and worked 10-12 hours a day. Robert, the foreman kept me informed of any issues. The machine they used to shape the metal to the precise measurements for my roof was amazing, in an hour and a half all the sheets were prepared and ready to go! Great job!

Vertex did a great job all around. Craig was very clear and straight up with us before, during and after the sale and installation of our new beautiful roof.

The crew was professional, personable, and on time every day. They cleaned up everything, and communicated clearly.

I am very very pleased with the new roof installment on my double garage. The finished work is as nice, neat and clean as I had hoped. The salesperson, Korbyn was very thorough in his demonstration and explanation of the installment process as well as answering my questions. The crew, Dave's crew was from Minnesota and they were a good bunch. They were punctual and efficient. The guys didn't start too early or work too late so the neighbors were happy. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after the job was done. The roof presented them with a couple challenges due to odd angles and valleys but the end result was really nice. All in all it was a job well done from the presentation to the end result. Thank you Vertex Roofing.

We really love our metal Vertex roof. Craig was very helpful throughout the process. The work was done when promised, and they even came out and did the underlayment prior to their start date to help us keep our remodel on schedule. We followed their recommendations, even though there were additional costs, but the end product is amazing!

My experience was excellent from the start. Korbin was a top notch salesman very knowledgeable about the whole roofing process. The project on my house took the expected 2 weeks. The guys always arrived on time and for at least 3/4 of the 2 weeks worked 10 hour days. They always cleaned up at the end of each day and were always polite and professional. Five years ago, Vertex Roofing installed a new roof on my home. I encountered the company at the Tucson Home Show, where I was trying to find a roofer quickly because a recent storm had precipitated a huge leak in my kitchen ceiling due to a hole in the roof. Everyone I've worked with from the company has treated me with courtesy and behaved very professionally. Arrangements were made and the roof was installed expeditiously (if my memory can be trusted, I think it took them just a few days to install). And it looks beautiful! The long-term warranty on the roof made me feel even more confident about their services. To be honest, since the roof was installed, twice I had leaks in my house that I thought were from a roof problem. I called Vertex both times and they came out to look at the problem. Both times they identified the source of the leak, and it wasn’t the roof (long stories that I won’t get into here). Each time I felt they were patient and helpful with me, despite the fact that their product was not the problem. In sum, I have had positive experiences with Vertex Roofing and highly recommend them for both quality of product and professionalism of staff.

The Vertex crew did a fantastic job providing our new metal roof, highly recommend!

After we made the painful decision to replace our existing metal roof, my husband an I wanted to hire a roofing company that only constructed metal roofs—experts in the field. We are pleased with our decision to have Vertex Metal Roofing do the job for us.

The company’s professionalism was first evident in the analysis by Korbyn Brock of our previous roof’s problems. Then his subsequent presentation of Vertex standing seam products and installation methods helped convince us that those problems would not occur in the future. No question went unanswered.

The cost of the job was expensive and took 5 weeks to complete. Not a criticism…just a fact. We have a hip roof with nearly 7000 square feet of metal between the roof and soffit panels. That’s why choosing the right company is so important. Metal will last a lifetime. But the roof can fail if not designed and installed properly. Accessibility and communication are also key. After the job started Korbyn stayed in touch as did the head foreman, Jim Conway. But the main communication was taken over by Marco Cobos, the site foreman. I can’t praise him highly enough. He calmly and consistently responded to any questions or concerns during the job. If we didn’t like something, then he fixed it or did it over until we were satisfied. He worked hands on with his great crew.

Then, the week after the job was completed we were blessed with a light rain that revealed seams on two gutters that were dripping and holding water. Upon communicating this to the head foreman, Jim(who responded within minutes), we were assured the problem would be resolved. Jim came out personally to assess the situation and the following week Marco came out personally to redo the seams on those gutters. He also checked every seam on EVERY gutter around the house. To me, that’s a sign of a truly reputable company—one that doesn’t make excuses for a problem but apologizes, takes responsibility and then makes it right.

Needless to say we would recommend Vertex to anyone interested in purchasing a metal roof. Their performance has made us confident that this will be the last roof we’ll ever need.

Vertex was outstanding, from start to finish. The receptionist who took my initial call made a great first impression. Sales associate Korbyn was a pleasure to work with throughout the process, from his initial presentation (which was thorough and professional), his knowledgable answers to my questions, his accessibility, his enthusiasm for his product and my project, and his pride in a job well done. The crew's pride in their work was also evident, and they were a pleasure to have on site. The clean up at the end of each work day was immaculate. And I now have a spectacular-looking roof that enhances the value and security of my home and will never have to be replaced. Vertex's customer service, workmanship and product quality are exemplary. On a 5-star rating system, they are a 10.

Update: Vertex can make any excuses they want. I will only be in my house for another ten years and what was important to me was the color. I wanted a SILVER roof and I got a DARK GRAY roof. Not only that, no one bothered to give me a heads up on the color switch. I only found out after seeing it once it was installed, which is very unprofessional and deceptive (no chance to say no). It might have happened in 2018, but it makes me unhappy every time I look at it. :-(

You can also tell a lot about the company from their response. We are sorry to see this review followed by a long discourse on why the customer is wrong, is not a good response. A good company would have responded that they are sorry to see that I am still disappointed in their service/product and is there anything more they can do?

I have had many customer service issues and was very disappointed with Vertex Roofing!! They are horrible at returning emails/phone calls and keeping customers updated.

I ended up with a color roof that I did not select!!! I was told they no longer had the color I chose, but instead of coming back and asking me, they chose another color for me on their own. It is supposedly a higher grade material, but I am still disappointed. **Update due to this darker color I have not seen any energy savings.**

Here are some of the other issues:

--After I signed the contract I received an email that said that I would be notified when my materials came in, which I was not.

--When I developed a leak around the ceiling fan in my dining room in August, it took me two phone calls and two emails to get a response. I was just told August 14th that I would be up the end of the next week or the beginning of the following. The Production Manager said that he would be out to look at the job site, which to my knowledge never occurred.

--The next few weeks were very stressful as it was raining almost every day and I was worried about more leaking. I finally called on the 23rd to see if I could get an update, since no one had been out and I didn't even know if all my materials were in.

-- Production Manager called Friday 24th to say a crew would be out early Monday and he would email me the specifics. I never received an email.

--The crew did a good job and worked around the dogs by not going in the back yard. However, Thursday when they left they said they would be returning the next day. I work from home, so I moved a few meetings from Friday morning to Tuesday morning in case of noise. No one showed up or called until around 1 pm, the Production Manager called to say they would be back Saturday morning to finish.

--Finished as promised Saturday, but I had a standing volunteer engagement and was not here when they left. I was expecting to be left care instructions/warranty information, which I never received.

--One last customer service oddity was that no one in the company that I tried to contact who has a cell phone had their voice mail set up with a message confirming their name and that they are a Vertex Roofing employee. The generic you have reached #, did not fill me with confidence that I even had the right number.

All of these issues were addressed with an apology and 1.25% discount off the price, which is not a lot, but I just wanted to be done with all the hassle.

Unfortunately, there is a part II to the saga. I never received a final receipt from the last payment (made over the phone) or the warranty information that was supposed to come from the manufacturer. I also did not approve my two raised air roof vents and whirlybird to be removed from my roof.

In fact part of the sales pitch was for an extra fee I could get a raised roof line with increased air vents all along the top to save energy. I did not have the additional money for that, but the sales representative thought it would be fine with my existing vents.

After a lot of hassle I finally got a blurry electronic copy of warranty information, my receipt, and one whirly bird installed.

I used to work for the company; they are good people who always do the right thing and do the best work possible. Being in construction for some time and having lived in the Northwest where every other roof is metal, this company surpasses all else in quality and professionalism. They treat their employees and customers right, too.
I’ll be using them when I get a metal roof.

Vertex Roofing was a pleasure to work with. Our roof was unsightly, oddly designed, poorly sloped, and a maintenance nightmare. Vertex Roofing transformed it entirely with beautiful weathered-copper colored metal that will last (practically) forever. Their crew was hard-working, always on-time, and friendly; answering any questions and concerns that I had. Great company!

Replaced the roof .. first took off the old, creating the new on-site to fit, and cleared out all the debris. Project lead was friendly and professional. It seemed like everyone worked well together. Warranty their work (they were unsure about the skylight, and there was a leak the first rain, but they came right out and fixed it. No issues since.)

Every aspect of my metal roof installation went flawlessly. From my first meeting with the sales team, from the project manager, from the installers. Professional, courteous, respectful, and I would highly highly recommend them to anyone looking for a metal roof

Can you please for the love teach your drivers how to park? It’s kinda hard to get into your car when you come out from the mall and with lots of bags and you can’t even get into your car. Mind you. I parked here first. Thank you!

Parking. Your wrapped vehicles have been parking in no parking zones along Creston in Mesa for 3 straight days now. The residents of the apartments you are blocking cant see the road when they are attempting to pull out because your trucks are illegally parked.

The consultant, Korbyn was very professional and the workers did a super job and cleaned up everything so nothing was left behind. I am very pleased with the looks of the roof. I would recommend them to anyone.

This is a good company. The crew that installed our new metal roof was respectful and well-mannered in every one of our interactions, and they answered questions and communicated their schedule regularly. They did a thorough job, and clearly took pride in their work as we walked around to examine the finished product. Then they texted some nice pictures of it! They were very good at removing metal scraps and pieces of shingles when they were done. (We've had other work crews on our property in the past that didn't do a very good job with cleanup.) And what else can you say about a 50 yr guarantee?! Definitely recommend.
