Best Routine Hvac Maintenance in Phoenix AZ

We had our hot water heater break down and Ape's was fantastic. They had someone over the next day, and the person they sent, Carter Wilkinson, was truly fantastic. Super personable, replaced the whole thing in about 90 minutes. His work was impeccable. I highly recommend Apes and Carter if you need any plumbing work at your house!

Came out just to tell me my unit was too dirty to tell me what was wrong and it would be $200 to clean it and my home warranty still charged me $65 for them going out their what a joke...

I have used A & M Mechanical multiple time over the years for several properties. Their timeliness and attention to the details was what I found to be refreshing. If they say they will be there: They are there. The diagnostics that they perform left me with questions, but they were completely and honestly answered. Are they the least expensive? No, but I have found that over time they were the best value, since everything worked thereafter. No loss of my time, or the nickel and diming me over return calls to correct something else. At times, it can be frustrating to work through Fidelity Home Warranty to trust they will send a quality service company. Well, working with Lee Collins Air conditioning was great! Ken was really exemplified quality customer service. He was patient with me while explaining the issue and let me watch during the repairs. Shane from AC works was on time and diagnosed the problem immediately. My heat was not turning on and he knew that the problem was with the thermostat and not the unit. Very knowledgeable and he reset my Wi Fi thermostat to the required settings.

Fantastic, exceptional and professional service! I called around an hour ago and was greeted by a very kind and courteous customer service representative who told me a service technician would be calling within 15 min to setup a visit and the charge would be $69 whether there is anything wrong or not. The service technician Shane called me within 5 min and followed up with courteous informational calls to ensure that I knew I could utilize my home warranty to reimburse me.

Shane the service tech showed up within the hour to promptly check the usual things, the thermostat, the air filter and then he went up on the roof. He proceeded to drain the unit and clean the coils, performing the regular maintenance to the air conditioning unit. After a thorough inspection and fine tuning, he said that my air compressor shut off due to overheating. He proceeded to recheck his work and thereupon go check my split unit in the garage which has the air filter to see if there were any points that would cause it to overheat.

He replied that he has seen this before, but if it happens again to call them and he would surmise that it would be the compressor that's the culprit. I asked him what regular maintenance intervals does he recommend and he said they usually come out and check the unit in the Spring, just before the Summer, and in the Fall, just before the Winter. But for my Split System, he'd only recommend once a year due to the unit on the roof not operating at all during the Winter. Oh and it only cost me $89 for all that he did!! :D

The whole experience was a delight considering the uncomfortable prospects and I will definitely use them for regular maintenance, highly recommended them to friends, family and coworkers!

We would have given a higher rating for actual work. Frustrated that when office called to find out how much because our son was going to provide check, we were told $258. Then when tech came, he said that amount only covers one- either AC or Heat. I'm glad we ended up being home so we could say we just want one done because check already written.

They were nice on the phone but don't expect to buy parts from them if your not a contractor. They weren't able to help me but they did refer another company that was able to assist me.

You know how when you find good people, it's evident? Good people have a certain way they talk, a certain way they walk, a certain way they help you through things.

Gerald and his team, (which I think consists mostly of his family) are just plain good people.

We had the unfortunate circumstance to have both of our A/C units experience issues in the summer of 2020 (of course, need I say more?). By the time we started talking with Gerald, I had already been on an a/c contractor parade. I buy nothing that will cost 10k+ without shopping around, so we're talking Excel spreadsheet comparison with all the different quotes, ideas, suggestions, etc...

I can say Gerald wasn't the least expensive option on the list, but was definitely one of the better prices, and his company offered a labor warranty that was 2.5x longer than the next closest installer. Bang for the buck-- this was a no-brainer.

On install day his team showed up and they're delightful. I can't imagine working in 100+ degree heat in an attic all day, so I honestly couldn't be more thankful. They're polite, informative and again, just plain good people.

I watched our old stuff hit the road and the new stuff come in, and wow. Totally awesome.

These guys are pretty epic! Save yourself the contractor parade. What you get here is an amazing value at a great price. Couldn't be more pleased!
