Showed up right on time and we wanted a check up of the A/C at the home we had just moved into. The technician spent approximately 45 minutes on our roof and then explained in detail what he observed. The unit is only 2 or 3 years old which was good news. He then showed us a complete list of the condition of our A/C and gas pack. We told him that our first electric bill caused some concern so he explained the peak demand issues and that there was a programmable thermostat that could help lower our electric bill. I asked him to install one and he had it on and working within an hour.
Our next electric bill arrived weeks later and was about $100.00 less than the previous month.
I was so glad that my Son in law referred me to this company. I also signed up for a program which includes a check up of the system every 6 months which I think was priced at a very reasonable cost.
This guy really knows what he is doing and his fee is certainly fair. There are so many horror story's out there about people that are being taken advantage of so it is certainly refreshing to find someone that is so good at what he does and does it at a fair price.

Darrel and Julie and Brandon - the entire Island Breeze Team was so friendly and provided amazing customer service right off the bat. I just bought an older home so I called island breeze to come and check out the AC before real summer hits. Darrell came within a couple days and walked me through everything he found - after looking at my old AC and talking about it with Darrel I decided it was a better investment to replace my AC then to try to keep it alive each year (I have 2 small children with me in the summer). We scheduled the work to be done 2 days later and honestly they were done within a couple hours from install to testing! They’re a local family run business and Darrell knows his stuff - you can really tell they care about the customers they serve! (He even offered to help me move) I’ll be referring and using them for all my AC needs from now on.

My technician was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing as he did it. He explained all of the available options to fix the issue and explained what the costs of each would be before fixing the problem. I was very satisfied with the solution and will be using the company again for any issues that arise with my HVAC system.

This feedback is to when we first did business with Island Breeze, had no idea my first review did not post.
Love Island Breeze Air Conditioning & Heating!! Our only regret is the we didn’t find Darrel Deokielal & the team at Island Breeze much sooner! We had “another” HVAC company install a new unit approx 18 months ago in an attempt to rectify a few long standing issues; excessive energy usage, very poor cooling, hot zones in the house and to verify duct work was up to par. Long story short, about the only thing the “other guys” did was install a new unit. Very few of the other issues were resolved or even addressed.
Fast forward to now and not wanting to spend another AZ Summer with subpar performance we were referred to Darrel & Island Breeze. Island Breeze has thus far been everything the other guy was not; extremely knowledgeable, thorough, clean, patient with our questions and wanting to know exactly what we expected out of our HVAC system and most importantly our expectations of his company. Darrel took the time to thoroughly inspect our “entire system” from top to bottom and in between. He presented his findings with pictures, printouts, etc., but most importantly with very, very clear & thorough explanation. Feeling comfortable with the recommendations & fair pricing we moved forward on several fixes & adjustments to our system, the biggest of which was a complete re-duct.
I’m a realist, and I know it’s only the very beginning of our Arizona AC season, but there is already a noticeable, positive difference in our comfort level and how hard the system is working. We are taking advantage of Island Breeze’s preferred service plan moving forward and look forward to having Darrel & his team taking care of our HVAC system for many years to come.

Island Breeze offers excellent services at fair and reasonable prices. Two technicians that I have dealt with are Darrel, the owner and Moe who are both friendly and pleasant but always professional. Both men are very knowledgeable and explain when something needs to be done in terms that I can understand, which as a homeowner I greatly appreciate so all in all I highly recommend Island Breeze.

Brandon came out and fixed the problem. We had too much refrigerant in the system and it was stressing out the unit and making a loud noise. He came out within 2 hours of me calling for appointment. At first the noise was still there but after several hours the noise is gone. Definitely going to use island breeze from now on! Reasonable prices, professional and knowledgeable. No major upselling. The last place we used told us we needed new units very soon and that completely stressed us out. We had Darryl out several years ago but lost his contact info. So glad we found them again! Darrel at Island Breeze is a lifesaver! We called at 9:15pm for a broken AC, in 115 degree weather on a Saturday night. He was here in just over 30 minutes and had us up and running shortly thereafter. He’s very friendly and professional. Would recommend him 100%.

Great service, very knowledgeable and professional. AC had been struggling to keep up with extreme heat this summer and finally stopped cooling bedrooms. I called a local highly rated ac guy who came out checked system pressure said all was good.
Darrel from Island breeze came out check entire system, explained everything he checked and his findings and what it all meant. He was able to complete repairs in a timely fashion and advised do's and don't to prolong ac life span. Bedrooms back to cool.

EDIT: My reply to their comment: This is absolutely untrue. We already discussed this on FB but apparently you’re okay with lying. My husband DID NOT TOUCH THE THERMOSTAT. The only people who touched it were Brandon and Darrel. My comments aren’t rude, they are true. I hope everyone can see how you treat your customers based on your interactions with me. I wouldn’t recommend you to my worst enemy.

We hired Island Breeze to install Nest thermostats for us. They were able to install the three downstairs without issue but the upstairs unit they had trouble with and ultimately said they couldn’t install the Nest on. That same day our AC stopped working upstairs (never had any issues prior to this and the house is only 3-4 years old). We called them back and the owner came out. He “fixed” it - only problem is the thermostat reads 15+ degrees higher than it actually is.
The owner, Darrel, came back again today and proceeded to tell my husband that he’s making stuff up and forcing them to fix an “old unit” - remember, it’s not old! - and told him that he knows nothing about HVAC even though he’s been building homes for 20 years.
He blatantly accused us of lying and then yelled at my husband and slammed our door and left.
Horrible service, aggressive behavior and he did this all in front of our children!! ?

It's 112 degrees outside and we're chilling at 74 degrees thanks to Darrell. We had a new condenser installed 2.5 years ago . New install was done incorrectly and burned up our compressor. Darrell took his time and figured out what was wrong and repaired our AC for a very reasonable price. Very happy with service.

I'm soooo happy with the experience of getting a mini split added to my house with this company. I got estimates from several different companies and this was the only one with a sales professional who had a background of installing these and knew what he was talking about. The installers showed up on time and even used floor tarps to protect my rugs from their shoes and equipment. The head installer had such attention to detail to make sure the unit was measured exactly center on the wall and provided the best spot for the outside unit. I would highly recommend this company for mini split installs and will be using them for when I need assistance for my main AC unit. Thank you so much!

04/12/23: I been using Island Breeze for many years so when it was time to replace my 16 yr old A/C unit it was a no brainer. Darrel and his Team are amazing. Excellent customer service, responsive, great communication, answering all of my questions throughout the process. They have wonderful 0% interest plans available which was a plus. They installed a brand new A/C unit and heating system within hours. They were here on time and never stopped working until the job was done. Not even for a pizza break we had provided for them until they were ready to pack it up for the day. That goes to show the work ethic of Darrel and his Team. I can't say enough about the quality of service and care you will get from Island Breeze.
Tyler was my tech, he came out to maintenance my AC unit before the summer. He was very professional and very thorough on explaining the process and what he found during the maintenance process. We valued his professional opinion and went with his suggestion to upgrade our unit. I would definitely recommend island breeze as a company to take care of all of your AC units!
