The men that came to do the assessment and the removal/installation of new HVAC system were professional and thorough. Trevor and the other fellow technicians did everything they can to ensure that the installation would work without having to make extra cuts to fit the condenser in the attic. They were professional and kept us updated on status frequently. We are so happy we chose Penguin Air and will be using them in the future for the installation of the other HVAC system.

I had such a great experience working with Tom for the two repairs needed at my home. Tom arrived on time and was extremely friendly and professional. He took his time making sure that his work was thorough and correct. Without asking, he even added extra notes to my invoice as he knew I would be submitting it to the city for reimbursement. Steve from Desert Diamond came out to measure for a new A/C unit. He was friendly and professional. The reason I am leaving a 3 is because he added about an extra $400 to the initial quote. While its not much compared to the $13,000 unit I am having put in, it still makes me leery of signing a contract with DDM. The contract clearly states that I am liable for any and all necessary and unforeseen costs needed to complete the install. If they are going to add $400 here and $400 dollars there, who knows how much I will end up paying in the end. I am still on the fence about hiring them and am looking into other companies.

I have used Expert HVAC for almost 20 year for my commercial properties, residential rentals, and personal property.
They have always been very timely responsive. There has never been an occasion when there has been an issue with their workmanship.

I originally decided to not leave a review as it would be negative. Because Goettl could not repair my AC, I was to get a full refund (less the service fee). For 3 weeks, I have been told my refund has been processed. I finally had to place a dispute with my credit card company. Being lied to and taken advantage of has really upset me and I do not want others to have this happen.

3 weeks ago, I contacted Goettl as my AZ blower motor stopped working. I have a 4.5 year old unit. The operators were pleasant and was able to get me an appointment the next day which was on a Saturday. The tech showed up and determined it was the blower motor. He then proceeded to tell me all the things wrong with the unit and all that needs to be done. As a property manager of 20 years, managing thousands of units, I knew this was all a sales pitch and all that was needed was a motor (which is still under warranty by the manufacturer. I agreed to have them repair the blower motor to get me up and running.

Before collecting my payment, the major sales pitch started. I was told I should get just get a whole new unit and ductwork (again, AC and ductwork is all brand new 4.5 years ago) and they could get me on a monthly payment plan for a whopping $12,000.00!! He then said my unit was so dirty, it would have to be fully chemically cleaned should I decide to keep it. Again, as a property manager I know the importance of home maintenance and I have maintained and cleaned the coils on an annual basis. He took my credit card payment of nearly $1600 up front so they could order and install the motor once received.

I agreed again, to just have the motor put in as it was supposed to be warm and needed my AC running.

Monday, I received a call from someone from the office stating they would not be able to get my unit up and running until the MIDDLE OF DECEMBER!! There was a shortage of variable speed motors, and they just could not do anything else- but again, they could fully replace the unit. The other option was for them to place a temporary blower fan in my unit for ANOTHER $1600! I said this was unacceptable and to refund my money less the service call, to which I agreed.

The next day, I contacted another AC Service Company (A&C Services by Able), a licensed, bonded, insured company with the owner having 30 plus years AC experience. Within less than 48 hours, they were able to retrieve the new motor (paid for under warranty, by the way), get to my house, and install. My unit was up and running with an OEM motor, covered by warranty, within 48 hours, all for $260!!

Goettl charged my $1600 and was telling me it would be 2 month until they could repair. But again, they could sell me an entire new unit!

I contacted Goettl 4 (four) times asking about my refund. For 3 weeks, I was told it was in process. As of date- I have no refund and was forced to place a dispute with my credit card company.

I had high hopes for Goettl but was sorely disappointed. Again, I was not going to leave a negative review although their pricing is out of line and certainly, they take advantage of people. Shame on you, Goettl. You need to do better!

Who'd like to bet now this review was written, I will get a call back regarding my refund!?

Wow !!!! James is amazing employee .. I assume they already know that . I was impressed with his service . Faster then expected lol he even smelled good . He was honest which surprised me….. He even referred a program which might be able to help me with my major repair . He also got my unit running until I can afford the much needed part . The price was Exactly what they quoted not a much different price when they arrive I won’t hesitate in the future to contact them again for a repair . I’m very happy and my grandkids finally got some Relief. Thank you guys for your quick fast response & help . ?

My AC went out. They responded quickly and fixed it right then and there. So was only down for a couple of hours. Patrick the technician was courteous and professional. The repair was reasonably priced. Will definitely use them again.

We had Mike Windle come out as a second opinion on an AC fix and he got us fixed up for a fraction of the cost we were quoted by the big guys. I can't describe how awesome he was and how appreciative we are that he was straightforward and honest with us. Hands down the best experience with HVAC that I've ever had!

I have had this company take care of a number of things for me ranging from putting in a new A/C unit to addressing a plumbing issue. Every time, each member of their staff is a pleasure to interact with, not to mention that all issues are quickly and efficiently addressed. Awesome company!!

We used king mechanical about 3 years ago when we replaced 3 ac units in our house. At first everything seemed great, install was much quicker than we expected, but everything seemed to have gone smooth.

The issues started about 2 months after install. The condensation pan to one of units started leaking, we called them out and they said there was a clog and that’s why it caused a leak in my ceiling. There should have been no clog, that should have been cleaned before it was installed. Then A few weeks later one of the brand new thermostats they installed stopped working, they pretty much told me I was on my own with that and I had to call the thermostat company and I ended up installing a new one myself. Now lets forward to November, so about 6 months after install, we try to turn the heat on down stairs and it doesn’t work, we call them back out. They came out and said they got the heat working, GREAT! fast forward a few months later we go to use the air where they fixed the heat… guess what the a/c doesn’t work ?? we have had to call them out literally every 6 months because we can either get heat or a/c, but we can’t have both. Now it’s just about 3 years later, I have had 2 condensation pans leaks, and 2 out of the 3 brand new units do not work. They will not answer phone calls or texts. after this review I will also be reporting to the bbb and the ROC.

Needed a service call, they jump right on it and came over the same day. A/C is working awesome and couldn't be happier with their service and quick response. I would recommend this company to everyone I know.
