Great communication, and fast work. Took extra time on my fridge to make sure I could still have it make ice while the part was ordered. Would highly recommend.

Hays was on time and I didn't have to wait days for service.
However, I was charged an after hours fee but wasn't told about it before making the appointment.

My A/C went out on one of the hottest days of the summer. I called Penguin Air and they sent a technician out immediately. When the technician “Nathan” arrived we went over the concerns, and explained the process and was very knowledgeable. He fixed the problem and followed up with me later in the day to make sure everything was working fine. Thank you so much! I will recommend Penguin Air to all my friends and family.

He took his time making sure that his work was thorough and correct. Without asking, he even added extra notes to my invoice as he knew I would be submitting it to the city for reimbursement. Hobaica is the best! I purchased a new HVAC 2 years ago and yesterday noticed something was off. I called after hours and was able to speak with Scott Dale. He was incredibly professional and helpful. He gave me accurate time updates and I decided to wait to have a tech come out the next day. Hobaica said the tech would arrive between 12p-4p and he arrived right at 12pm with a 30 minute warning. I was thrilled to see it was Scott Dale who showed up! He was super friendly, helpful and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly. Unfortunately the problem was outside of his control and I am now waiting on the manufacturer Bosch. Scott gave me advice on what to do in the meantime to ensure I am comfortable while I wait for the manufacturer to fix the issue. I would highly recommend Hobaica to anyone looking for a new HVAC. When I had the unit installed 2 years ago, I shopped around and now I know I made the right choice!

North Valley Mechanical has been servicing my AC unit for about six years. Last year, they warned me the refrigerant my unit used would no longer be manufactured. My unit was 15 years old too. About a month ago the motor began to go and I decided to replace the unit.The temperature in the bedroom was always hotter than the remainder of the house. I mentioned it to Kirk when he came to give me the quote. He suggested adding a return to the bedroom. He made the fix sound so simple to this daily problem! North Valley Mechanical also arranged for an insulation company to come after the installation date.On June 10th, they came and installed a new AC unit and a return in the bedroom. The change was INSTANT! I could not believe it! I was hot every night for years for no reason!My SRP kW usage has dropped by at least 30% since the installation!North Valley Mechanical's service was excellent! My AC unit has exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend North Valley Mechanical!

We called Promise for a broken HVAC blower motor after our landlord went incommunicado and we were stuck figuring it out on our own.

The receptionist was attentive, knowledgeable, and was able to clearly communicate the repair process. They booked us a time exactly when we had hoped, three days out, and gave us an estimate that everything would be able to be completed at that time.

The owner, Jesus Montes, arrived promptly at the arranged time and inspired confidence immediately. He is articulate, professional, friendly, and was able to quickly diagnose the blower motor. His quote commanded in the upper end of the expected price range, however Mr. Montes exceeded all expectations for quality and quantity of service so we felt his price were fair.

Mr. Montes, within 2 hours of arrival, completed the repair of the blower motor and provided us with documentation in pictures of the repair as well as personally showed us the old motor and problem. He sat down with us to discuss possible other issues to work out and was helpful in signing the waiver of lien and preparing the invoice in a way the state advises us we needed to legally deduct these costs from our rent.

Our system has been working well since and we highly recommend Promise and Mr. Montes as an efficient and competent contractor

They've earned my trust beginning with our first interaction that continues to this day. They, as the operators, and their crew of technicians are respectful, knowledgeable and trustworthy as they've maintained my various brands of HVAC units and thermostats. They do a great job explaining issues when I want to dive deep and better understand the system or warranties and have always appeared happy to do so.

More like Valley's worst. My home warranty picked this company for my AC not cooling issue last month. 5 weeks, 2 start capacitors, 1 control board, 90° nights of restless sleep. I, my wife and 2 daughters were duped. Conversations with Chase were not optimistic, but felt like he was blaming me for a faulty ac. Are you kidding me. They just put bandaids on. I received authority to change service companies, my AC is working tonight after a new condenser fan motor was installed. It took 1 hour to do the job right. Could've saved weeks of misery. Beware! Don't hire these guys. They will lie to you about amp readings to not have to do their jobs. Pretty obvious what the problem was said our new hvac company.

Really great service. The technician was extremely helpful and took the time to help with a smart thermostat install even though the groupon was only for an AC tune up. He also replaced some old wiring. I'm so glad I found a company that isn't just trying to sell you a new AC unit (my Trane is 27 years old). Look no further for HVAC service.

I want to compliment Cactus Mechanical, Inc. They were at my home today for about 6 hours to install a new A/C unit. I live in Peoria and the home I am leasing is about 2400 square feet and has 2 units. The original unit had to replaced. The 2nd unit is only 4 years old. The original unit was as old as the home....20 years old. The realty company who handles my lease contracts Cactus, and I am very glad for that. The appointment was for 6:30 this morning. I had a truck there about 15 minutes early. Travis runs the crew and I greeted him. Minutes later 4 or 5 more trucks arrived. The crew was professional and extremely courteous. The attention to detail was impressive. They took care of the home like their own. When leaving, there was no mess at all. All of the crew was friendly. In the future, if I purchase a home, I know the company who will handle my heating and cooling issues. I also met one of the owners. Mark was at my home with his team. I told him personally how satisfied I was with the entire installation process. A great start to my weekend!!!! Great job!!!!
